Clark heating and cooling have been our HVAC provider taking care of our 3 systems for over 5 years now. I would now - not trust anyone else. Their fee's are as competitive as any family owned HVAC company and they have never looked to lever or upsell any needed service or un needed parts unlike some larger HVAC companies that I have engaged over the years. First class.

I've tried several other AC companies in the Phoenix area and no one comes close to Clark.  They are smart, honest and accurate.  They solve problems and figure out solutions that other's can't.  My home warranty company actually did the unthinkable after 3 other companies failed to diagnose my AC problem:  they cut me a check and let me use Clark instead of their own listed providers.  That's how good they are.

I won't use anyone else ever again!

Gab and Hector from Clark Heating & Cooling came out to replace the motor, fan, and a number of other parts in our extremely noisy room air conditioner/heater unit. They were very diligent, caring, friendly, and hard-working. We noticed how skillfully they worked together as a team. They wouldn't leave until they checked everything was running pristinely on the unit in the room and the condenser unit outdoors. We have several rental properties in Sun City, and when the A/C quits, it's a serious problem for our older tenants.   After disappointing service from other HVAC providers, we found Clark H & C, and have used them exclusively ever since.
They are always responsive to our calls; Michelle knows all our properties and has our account well organized.  Communication is always prompt and complete, both to our tenants and ourselves.  We have had units repaired and units replaced, always with great service.  All the service guys have been great: our tenants are happy, and we are happy.

We have a brand new unit under warranty and the company that installed the system doesn't work on weekends. In the past, with our old units, we used a myriad of companies but none of them stuck with us. They did an ok job, prices were pretty steep. It was time to find a new company

Cue Clark. Professional and courteous on the phone, text schedule updates, the tech called when he was 30 minutes out. The tech, Sam, was super duper nice. He is the Mary Poppins of service techs. Turns out the ductwork in the attic had fallen off the handler. Great. So he repaired it, checked our fluid levels and with our consent balanced the refrigerant.

When he was done he cleaned up, I paid and the invoice was sent electronically via text and email.
I cannot recommend them enough!!

Great family business that doesn't want anything but your absolute comfort in your own home. They do whatever they can with no fuss pricing never an upsell from their techs. Just honest folks who act as if your apart of their family.

Gabe Estrada from Clark Heating & Cooling left our house about an hour ago. I say this to emphasize how impressed my wife and I were with the service we received that we immediately wrote this review.

We called Clark mid-afternoon yesterday. I had some questions which the person on the line, Amy, thought would best be answered by David. David called me within 5 minutes and answered all my questions.

Gabe showed up on time today and quickly spotted our problem and fixed it. He pointed out we didn't have an automatic shut-off valve just in case our drain line clogged in our air handler. This had happened at our previous house and caused some damage to the floor and ceiling as the unit was in the attic. He didn't try to force us to do the work but explained the advantage of doing so. Gabe also found a small leak in the drain pipe and fixed that.

The price of the work done was fair. It was nice having a technician not having to call a supervisor for instructions. Not only was Gabe knowledgable and professional, but he was also a nice guy.

Talked to the owner (Dave) several months ago about replacing our aging AC.  Dave was knowledgeable and we felt was very thorough, inspecting every inch of the existing ducts.  We decided to use the existing system for another season before swapping it.  

In the middle of the summer heat on August 27th (was a very hot day), all of sudden, the old AC's condenser would not start the compressor.  Was making a humming noise.  I figured likely a startup capacitor or contactor issue.  We called Clark Cooling.  Michelle got someone dispatched right the way.  Within couple of hours, the cap was replaced and the old and tired unit was running again.  Hopefully will make it to December and we'll have Dave to replace it then.

The service cost was reasonable also.

Technically savvy, responsive, quality work and reasonable cost. What else can you ask for?

I have a couple of rental properties in the Phoenix area and I've had a hard time finding a reliable A/C company. I finally found a company that is reliable and professional. They are honest and up front about the cost of the repairs. They describe things in a way that's easy for me to understand. They are quick to schedule work with the renters when there is an A/C emergency and also with scheduled maintenance. I would recommend Clark Heating & Cooling to anyone looking for an honest repair company.

We just received above and beyond service from Jon at Clark on our heating unit. Great quality of service, was clear in communication and in describing what the problem was in a way that was easy to understand. I was impressed by Jon's work ethic, working until he got to the job done and by his empathy for the customer, and going out of his way to get parts over the holiday weekend.

Great experience with David, the owner/operator of Clark Heating & Cooling. I picked this company because of the many 5-star ratings and can only confirm what others expressed. He is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and an excellent communicator.
The last days someone else checked out our failing AC-unit and wasn't able to identify the issues.
This Saturday morning I called David, he responded immediately, gave me a afternoon time slot, called me shortly before arrival, and found the issues within minutes. He replaced the capacitor, the contactor, secured the loose insulation, and cleared out the drain line. And the system is running great again. Totally worth the money.
And he pointed something out that might cause a future problem.

This is the best HVAC company in Phoenix hands down. I had my entire HVAC system replaced and they are extremely competitive on pricing. You probably won't find a better price. They use York systems which are excellent and give you upgraded color wi-fi thermostats to control your system via phones. It took two days to install two large 5
ton compressor system for my two story house, but they cleaned up everything each day. They also were very responsive and Dave the owner is super nice and easy to deal with. Ivan the lead tech is fantastic and has the highest integrity among service techs. I've used these guys before I had my 18 year old system replaced and they don't use any bait and switch tactics that is so prevalent today by many unscrupulous cooling companies. I highly recommend Clark Heating & Cooling.

My parents AC went out and we had Ivan come out on a Sunday. I have never had an AC company come out to my place or my parents that I felt was being honest, there are so many shady companies out there and I have to say, Ivan spent time figuring out what was wrong. Fortunately the part was under warranty, so we only had to pay for labor. It was cheaper than most companies wanted to charge just to show up. I got a few extra cards from him and will from now on use Clark heating and cooling.  I am the biggest skeptic when it comes to service, and I have to say I don't mind paying for a quality repair. And I did just that. Fair priced, quality service. My mother felt like he went above and beyond. Sad part is we had another company out less than a month ago. And they clearly overcharged my mother for the work. And the repair lasted a few weeks. Thank you Ivan I hope your boss knows what an asset you are to the company.

Our air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. Based on the great yelp  reviews, we called Clark Heating & Cooling. On a Sunday, Gabe  answered the phone and sounded like he was knowledgeable and we set up a  time within a few hours for him to fix the problem. Gabe arrived on  time and he was beyond nice. We thought our a/c was going out. We called Clark Heating & Cooling and they came out the same day. The guy was very friendly, professional, he wore a mask and knowledgeable. He found the problem and fixed it!! We did not need a new unit. They are very affordable! We are going to set up yearly a/c services with them! I highly recommend them!!

Fantastic Service!  This is the second time I have called upon Clark Heating and Cooling to fix an issue with my HVAC system. Last July, 2019, I needed a quick top up of freon for the AC and today, my gas furnace needed a new Ignitor. Once again, their OH so Capable Technician Ivan came to my rescue. Ivan explained thoroughly what the problem was, which was diagnosed in less than 10 minutes. Trust me when I say, you don't want to pay George Brazil prices as well as fund their TV advertising. This is why you want to call upon a reputable small-family run business. I give Clark Heating and Air my very highest recommendation, professional, friendly and ethical service is what you will receive.

Some of the best service I have ever had. Ivan came over and worked on our ac for 4 hours the Saturday before Easter. It was 95 degrees and he was out on the roof working until he got it fixed. Awesome guy and I highly recommend this company if you have any issues with you ac.

I am very impressed with the service provided by Clark Heating & Cooling. My a/c went out during an electrical storm over the weekend. After contacting some companies that I've used in years past that could not set an appointment when I called/emailed, I found Clark Heating and Cooling on Yelp. After literally sweating it out in 100F weather all weekend contacting my old HVAC companies with no luck, I couldn't believe how fast I got a response  from Michelle at Clark on a Sunday night. She set me up with an appointment the next morning! It turned out the breaker on the roof needed to be reset. The tech, Ivan,  recommended replacing the wires, which I'm glad he replaced after he showed me how frayed the old ones were. Ivan gave me a good picture of what I can expect in the future with my unit. And I appreciated that they weren't trying to price gouge me. Excellent customer service and communication, knowledgeable technicians, and great value. Michelle, Ivan (and assistant) were all great to work with. I highly recommend Clark Heating & Cooling.

Could not answer the phone. Once they did the person (I think fell asleep) as they did not speak for a full five minutes after greeting me, during which I assumed they were looking for a time slot. Once I spoke again the person did not know why I was speaking to them. I asked if they were okay and the answer was they are sleepy and have no availability this week.
Not sure how they have all 5 star ratings if they can't get someone to answer the phone to make an appointment.

Clark Heating and Cooling were fantastic!!!!   A/C went out on a Sunday, they responded within one hour.  Gabe came out and diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes.  He found that the blower motor and control board combo were faulty.  They contacted the manufacturer and found that my unit had 4 months left on a 5 year warranty.  They got the replacement motor and board, and all I paid for was labor.  Professional, efficient, and honest.  Thank you Clark Heating and AC!!!

I have used this company now almost 5 years. As a realtor I suggested them for my clients since they are knowledgeable about different brands of units and the guys have a good mind for trouble shooting since everyone has a different thermostat. They have serviced my home, my clients homes and of course they take care of moms - and that's the most important one.

Very professional and friendly service from the entire staff we encountered over the course of us making our selection of a new A/C unit to replace our original one before it went out.   We had numerous questions that we emailed and spoke on the phone with Noelle, Dave (owner), Gabe and Ivan for over a month to ensure we got the unit our home needed and was priced right.  Our neighbor recommended Clark Heating & Cooling to us because I noticed he replaced his unit a couple of years before we did and he said I should call up Dave to setup an appointment.  No pressure at all about which unit to buy from anyone.  If you were like me and don't know a A/C tech and really don't know who to call, you should call Clark.

These guys are the best. My a/c unit stopped working and I had a different company come out and do a diagnostic check and quoted me in the thousands. I contacted these guys to get a second opinion and in the same day they were out here checking it out. They gave me a proper diagnosis and price for repairs. They fully explained what was wrong and didn't try to pressure me into using them right away. Once we we're ready to do the repairs they were able to get me an appointment right away. The tech showed up on time, he was professional and nice. He worked fast and my unit was up and running again right away. Highly recommend this company! We are very happy with their service.

Three days ago I was introduced to Clark Heating & Cooling.

Two days ago, I was told how and when they could fix my AC unit and how much it would cost. Two days ago, they sent their tech out to check out my unit to make sure they got the right parts - even had the tech come back out that night because he wanted to double check what he wrote down.

One Day ago, they sent me a text to let me know, Hey we got the part and will be there at 8 AM tomorrow to get your AC running!

This morning at 10 minutes until 8 AM, their tech arrived. By noon, my AC was working again.

Dave and his team have been consistent. The were here when they say they would be. The job took the amount of time they said it would. They charged me the exact amount they quoted me. They even apologized that they couldn't do the repair yesterday because they were already booked - remember, I called them at the last minute - they could have easily pushed me back, but they didn't!

They have earned my loyalty and I highly recommend them!

These guys were great. They had some challenges to deal with in our house. They also stand by their work. They were recommended to me by a general contractor and honestly, this is the company I will recommend to anyone.

When our AC broke just days before our big vacation, we got a quote from 2 well known AC businesses in the valley. We were so disappointed by them both because they had no quick solution and both were very costly. So I got a referral from a friend and called Clark Heating and Cooling and within minutes they sent someone over to give us a quote. We were in such a bind, dealing with no AC in 110 degree weather, with a small child and large dog, while trying to leave for our vacation. Clark's heating and cooling did not disappoint! In fact, they returned the next day and fixed our AC for a fraction of the cost. They were so friendly and fair, which my husband and I truly appreciated. They even followed up with us the next day to make sure everything was running okay. They are the best. Thank you all again!

Best Heating/AC Company!

Gabe came out and inspected heat pump of a house I was contracted to buy. He did a thorough job and was terrific at explaining everything. Not pushy about trying to sell a new unit but provided options and cost.

My AC stopped working and the first company I called came out and told me that to fix my unit it would cost $2,000 and they recommended that I should just replace it for $8,000. The price seemed really high so I then had Clark Heating & Cooling come out. Gabriel Estrada was punctual, super professional and talked me through everything he was doing. He ended up finding the root of the problem and fixed my AC in less than an hour. He also cleaned up after himself (which the first AC company didn't do). The price to fix my AC from Clark Heating & Cooling was much less ($500) than the first company and now my AC works. I'm thinking that the first company didn't know what the root of the problem was so they just suggested I replace the entire unit. Clark Heating & Cooling has a customer for life and I'm definitely requesting Gabe to come out for anything AC related. Thank you again!

Ivan of Clark Heating and Cooling was superb! He diagnosed the problem and fixed it as quickly as he could, delayed only by bad weather.
Ivan was able to complete the repair at 1/3 the cost of our first HVAC company that was recommended by our home warranty people, and that's a different story...

My ac stopped blowing air into the house last night but I could hear the unit running on the roof.

Searched on yelp for good services, saw Clark within .6 miles from me and 5 star service.

Called him and he was at my house within 15 minutes! Very friendly and went right to work, came back down after 20 minutes or so; explained my control board is fried would be $400 repair to fix cooling/heating. I was concerned with the unexpected bill, so he said he could bypass it to allow the cooling to work but the heating won't work, so I'll need to get it fixed before winter.

He bypassed it, wrote me a receipt and gave me his business card and magnet to replace the board when I can afford it. I payed $85 to fix my ac today, a regular service check is $55 but if he does any repair that's free, and you just get charged for the repair.

I live alone and have no clue about ac units, so he answered all my questions and explained to me the problem and how a unit should work. Was very patient and understanding.

Will be using him for all my service needs from now on! Thank you!

Gabe and Ivan showed up bright and early this morning to replace my aging Heatpump with a new 2stage unit.  They did a great job removing the old unit and installing the new one.  They also did some duct work to move a register in a spare bedroom.  I am extremely happy with the work they did.  Very neat and professional.  I certainly recommend them to anyone needing A/C work.  Woody

Approximately 3 weeks ago, I had a Heating/Air Conditioning tech come to my residence to conduct the annual inspection of my AC systems before the summer heat arrived. He was from a supposed well regarded Phoenix company with good reviews. It went down hill after that.

When completed, the tech reported that he would replace 4 of my electric motor run capacitors to the tune of $655.00. He also said that the R-22 refrigerant in my 5 ton main floor AC unit was low on refrigerant and that the unit was 'not cooling'. And finally, he stated that both of the ceiling mounted air filters were dirty.

Here's the rub.

Replacing a capacitor, though you should know what your doing to prevent being shocked, is not rocket science. Though I didn't really believe my capacitors were failing, I'm one who believes in preventative maintenance. So I replaced them myself with high quality Made in America capacitors for $130.00. It takes about 5 minutes each to replace them. Not $655.00.

The tech didn't know that two days before he arrived, I had replaced both my air filters with brand new clean ones. They weren't dirty though it would help if he opened the air handler door to check them in the first place.

Finally, the R-22 refrigerant.

R-22 is being phased out by the EPA for supposed damage to our atmosphere. This tech said that he would replace both of my AC units to the tune of just under $13,000.00 and that if I ordered them today, he would not charge me to top of my supposedly low R-22. I said the one 5 ton unit was only 4 years old. I said no.

I then contracted with another Phoenix HVAC company, Clark Heating and Cooling.

Dave, the owner,  was professional, customer service orientated and above all, runs an honest company. He has to be, his name is on the side of his service trucks.

The tech who arrived from Clark HVAC, Eric , was on time and a knowledgeable and courteous HVAC tech. I told him that I was having doubts believing the R-22 refrigerant in the big 5 ton unit was low and as the previous tech stated the one AC isnt' cooling. Which is a strange assumption since it was COLD in this home when he arrived. 2 + 2 isn't 5.

The Clark Heating and Cooling tech quickly inspected the 5 ton AC in both the air handler unit in the attic and the condenser and reported that this AC unit was working perfectly and was not low on R-22 refrigerant nor was there anything else wrong with it. Running perfectly.

I realize this is a wordy review, but when you find an HONEST contractor, you should award him with praise and your continued business and let people know about this small, professional and most of all, honest contractor. I HIGHLY recommend Clark Heating and Cooling and Dave Clark and his staff, Ivan and Eric for all of your HVAC needs.

Clark is so awesome I highly recommend them!!! I had called a few places with good yelp ratings for my Air Conditioner repair.  My home warranty company had already come to asses the AC unit, but did not cover the job.  This is important information if you have that diagnostic from a warranty co then you should be able to send that to other companies for a price quote without paying their service fee. I did send to it to 4 places. It was amazing to me how some places even on Yelp tried to charge me 4x the amount that Clark quoted. I think at the end of the season they  panic to get their quota.The receptionist Michelle was so nice and helpful and very empathetic that we had zero AC for 5 days in 111 degree weather. That next day Ivan came with a fan blade that I was told needs to be shipped over night by another company or take 15 days! Obviously not true. Clark got the fan from a local provider and fixed our AC so quickly and gave me advice as well. I will definitely use them in the future!!  MAHALO!!

I called RKS at 7am when they opened. No answer, I left a message. I caled Clark at about 8:30am..they said they would come out around 12:00.
RKS finally called when the Clark service men were leaving at about 1:00.
Clark turned out to be great. Very honest. Will use again.

I knew my 20 yr old unit was on its last leg and instead of waiting till it died I wanted to be proactive and install a new unit before coming home to a 100 degree house and having to wait for a new unit. I got approximately 8 different estimates. 2 of my estimates where from friends of friends and were both the same price. Dave came out to give me an estimate and was the only one (besides the friends) to actually go into my attic and inspect my whole system to see what I needed. None of the other company's did that. I was really impressed with Dave from the start, even after one of my 4 German Shepherds bit him on the butt, lol, he was still willing to check out my old system and give me a great estimate. When I told him that his estimate was about 190$ higher than my other 2 estimates he even said he would match it. They showed up on install day at 6am sharp and him and his team busted thier butts all day to install my new unit. I am very pleased with everything that Dave and his team did for me. Special thanks to Dave, Eric, and Ivan. I am recommending Clarks Heating and Cooling to everyone I know. And if your reading this I suggest you call them too.

David and his team are extremely honest and professional. They honored their estimate even with our unit being a bit more complicated. I am so appreciative of the good work they did on our unit. Our AC was up and running within a few hours and now it's blowing like a champ.

Honest which is rare in this industry. Their prices are 30% less than some of the other rip offs, namely the companies that are always advertising like George Brazil, Parker and Sons, etc. They have excellent technicians who are honest and have the customers best interest in mind. Our A/C was damaged from a recent storm and was making ear-piercing high-pitched noises.  Dave provided a reasonable estimate for replacement, which our insurance company accepted.  I'm a researcher, and found that Dave's expert recommendations for an energy efficient unit was spot-on for our home.  Dave and his Cool Crew installed our new, whisper quiet Trane and we no longer mind living in Phoenix during the summer!   Our home is cooler and the unit actually needs to kick on less than our previous one.  We are enjoying the monthly savings in energy costs and are so glad we found Clark Heating and Cooling, an honest, experienced company we are proud to recommend.

Their proposal was detailed and accurate. David explained everything thoroughly. Their work is precise and customer service is outstanding! I've used Clark Heating and Cooling twice. Once to do an inspection of my heating and cooling unit after buying a house and most recently to repair a motor on one of my units. They have always been knowledgable, courteous and fair. They have helped me understand more about my cooling system. I trust and highly recommend them.

Love this company! Our AC went out 2 nights ago, we called later in the evening and they still answered and Ivan came out by 8 the next morning. He figured out the problem quickly, tuned up our other unit and gave great advice on getting an airflow problem fixed. About a year after buying my house in Phoenix, we noticed water dripping from through the thermostat during a storm. (Yes, the thermostat!)

After determining where I thought the leak was, I ended up calling Dave. His guy Ivan came over to patch up the condensation drain pipe (I explained I was confident this was where the water was entering the house).

After spending a solid amount of time going to town patching up any possible leak on the roof, Ivan was ready to leave and had me sign the invoice. I asked if he had any concern about mold, since there had been a handful of heavy storms before we called Dave. By his own suggestion, he went up into the attic to inspect it.

While we were up there, Ivan noticed daylight coming in through the seal of the AC unit to the roof. The unit wasn't sealed correctly or possibly had shifted since being installed. Ivan pointed out that was the actual source of the leak. (And wasn't easy to detect from on top of the roof.) He went back on the roof and reinforced the seal.

I was very satisfied because Ivan wasn't at all in a hurry to get the job done and get out of there. His top priority was clearly doing the job right, and it's because he had that thorough mindset that we were able to identify the source of the leak. We've had storms since then with no further issues.

When I saw smoke coming from our AC unit I was 100% sure that we had to replace it; however, when Ivan checked it out he found the problem that could be FIXED for a tiny fraction of the price.  Dave and his team are totally honest, very reliable and know what they are doing.  The AC unit is working beautifully and I can't thank Clark Heating and Cooling enough.

Amazing service! Dave came in and fixed the ac all up, he even told me things that would need to be replaced soon to prevent a summer break down. He wore slippers on his shoes to protect my floors when he came in from the outside. Very good company, would reccomend them to friends and family.
