I've done business with Baker Heating & Cooling for 7 years.  GREAT Customer Service.   Had them install my new units last October 2021.  Very happy with the install and the quality of the units.   Highly recommend

Had an appointment scheduled, talked on the phone, received email confirming appointment for 10-11am.
Then no show, no call- wow!
Disappointing that you would waste a possible client day and lack professionalism .

The technician never showed up. The picture in this review clearly shows an email with an appointment at 8 AM. At 1050 AM, I got a call from this company dating that their technician was running late but he works be arriving in about 30 minutes. He still never showed up. I posted a bad review here and the owner replied adding that his morning appointments go from 9AM until noon and I canceled on him. Not true. A woman from the office even called me to apologize. Why would they apologize if they did nothing wrong? Normally I would let this go but I won't be portrayed as a liar. The guy was a no show.

It was hot.....we were sweaty.....so we called Baker Heating and Cooling to help us out.  They replaced our 20 year old unit with a new one for a very reasonable price.  We are now cool, comfortable and happy!  Great customer service from the office staff to the technicians who came to the house. We will use Baker Heating and Cooling again and highly recommend.

We called Baker Heating and Cooling Sunday afternoon (new client). Our AC decided to take a dive.  Of course, Sunday afternoon.

Ken answered the phone (sounded like he was climbing down a ladder), took my name and info and said he would be over in 2 hours. Wow!  Awesome.   Ken comes over, does his thing, says the fan motor thingy (my words) is dead and needs to be replaced.
So I go into stealth mode, hop on amazon and Google, search the cost to see if I'm being... well you know.  Ken quoted me $760 installed and I found it online for $550+ shipping.  So with install, he's a great price (soon an awesome price, continue reading)!  But it only came with a 1 year warranty.
Ken has a program I can sign up on, he'll clean both my AC units (in the off season), extend the warranty to 5 years, and discount the part by 15% ($114.00 in this case, making the fan thingy $646 installed! ) for $300 more.  Unless you're strapped for cash, this is a no-brainer, do it!  So I did.  Ken went to work, had everything in his truck, got us cooled down in about an hour.
Awesome service, awesome turn around time, awesome hardware price, awesome response time!

So the next day our AC goes out again.  So, here's the bad right?... or is it more Awesomeness?!!

Ken comes over 2 hours after I call, checks the AC unit, finds some wires that might be an issue and replaces them.  Ken then gave a little educational talk about running my dual AC units.  Everything done, how much for the service call and wires?  Just the cold bottles of water!!  No charge for the service call!  No charge for *my* faulty wires that Ken replaced.
That my friends is Awesome Customer Service!

Please remember it's hot out there and Ken is racing around fixing our AC units.  Please put a few cold bottles of water in the fridge for him!

We signed up for the maintenance plan that Baker heating & Cooling offers, due to the very good work and personal attention we experienced on our first service call.
I wondered if it would always be as easy to get great service like it was the first time.
Well, the quality of service is quite consistent. Even the scheduling is effortless.
Just called to see about scheduling appointment, and within five minutes I got a call back. Ken makes us feel like we are his only customers, he easily and quickly had a schedule for us and we look forward to having him out to work his magic. I normally do not get such a personal level of service from HVAC companies. Ken's promptness, quality of work, and his availability are worthy of an extra good update to my review here. Thanks Ken!

Hottest week of the summer and this is when my upstairs A/C unit goes out. I tried calling a couple of other companies and they were not able to come till tomorrow. I remembered getting a flyer in my valpak with some A/C companies and decided to try calling Baker. He answered and said he could be their in a couple of hours.

He showed up as promised and went straight to work. Figured out the problem, had the part and completed the work in under an hour. My A/C is back up,  working and I think the upstairs will be a good temp for us to all sleep good tonight.

I needed some accessory installed and being excited to have it working my regular service company put me off.  Baker stepped up and I could not be more pleased.  Ken arrived on time - having called ahead and for a very reasonable fee did the work.

I would recommend this company for honesty and professionalism to any resident of the Sun Cities who want the job done by a honest person.

We were given their card from a friend who had nothing but glowing reports.  We were given the opportunity to try them out, since our a/c was out upstairs.  They were honest, courteous, reliable and quite knowledgeable.  Would definitely recommend them!

8/19/16- Update:  AC decided to give me problems tonight.  Called Bakers at 7:30 pm and doorbell rang by 8.   1 run capacitor later, I've got nice cold AC again.  Highly recommend.....again.

Turned my furnace on (gas) and it set off the smoke detectors.  Googled heating/AC service for Surprise and got a list.  Baker was the third call and only company to actually answer the phone.  Asked Ken if he could take a look at it Monday (called Friday afternoon).  Ken said he could look at it same day and called in advance.

He serviced the system and furnace running fine.  Just needed cleaning of the AC coil.  Fast, friendly and professional.  Highly recommend.

We typically went through Chas roberts but having called them and being told it would take a few days to even get some one out to our house, I was luckily forced to look into other options. I did some research and found Baker heating and cooling. Their reviews were amazing. Let me tell you, they deserve every star they have. They showed up within 2 hours even though they are ridiculously busy and started working on the issue. We didn't get it fixed the first time, but here they are working on getting my family cool air at 9 at night. They are hot, exhausted and yet still here to help us. Ken is extremely open in communicating his concerns. They also offer Police/military discounts which is amazing customer service for the area they service! We signed up with the service plan and I could not be happier!

I found Ken on home advisor. He called me back right away and he scheduled an appointment and arrived on time.  He did a great job being patient and explaining what he was doing on my unit. He cleaned the attic Evaporation coil. LOOKS LIKE NEW. I will definitely call Ken again for service. ***** 5 stars!! Thank you!!

We thought our fan motor was burned out. They could have easily agreed with us but after they checked, it was only a loose wire left by another company. The price for repair was very reasonable. I would have to say they are Professional, on time, respectful, and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

My AC stopped blowing cool air and we found Ken through Google and contacted him.  He came within an hour and knew what the problem was right away and fixed it on the spot.  His service was quick and very professional.  I would have Ken do all of my heating and cooling services when needed.  Thank you Ken!
