ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER
John grew up in a rather poor family in the Philippines. He did everything he could to survive. At a young age, he was digging through dumps, gathering anything metal or plastic to sell. He used the small amount of money he made to buy what he could only afford which are mostly breads and pineapples. This is where the idea of the company name Pineapple Air Heating & Cooling came from. John is a family man with a wife and 3 kids. He is hungry, humble and hard working person. He's been working in the air conditioning & heating industry in the state of Arizona since graduating from RSI (The Refrigeration School, Inc) in 2006. After several years of working with highly respected HVAC companies in the valley, he decided to open his own AC and heating company. He knows the struggle and value of money that's why it's his goal to provide affordable with 5 star quality service at all times.

JP and Pineapple Air saved the day for my 78 year old mother. Her AC stopped working during a heat wave and after getting the run around from two other companies I luckily found Pineapple. JP answered my phone call and was able to arrive at my mom's house within the hour. He diagnosed the problem and provided an straightforward estimate. He was even willing to speak with an insurance rep on the phone for me and explain the issues. He had the needed parts in his van and was able to get unit back up and running. He was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. This is a company I will call in the future and refer friends to.
Pineapple air came to the rescue when our air conditioning went out on a Friday night! We opted to replace our units since they were 26 years old. Pineapple air was very honest and clear about our options, and gave us all of the information to make an informed decision.
Their work was of the highest quality, and their customer service was superb! They have answered numerous questions for me within minutes of my text or call, and I feel at ease knowing they will support us if any issues arise in the future!

They responded nearly immediately after hours on holiday weekend when our A/C died. Came out next day and examined everything and provided several options and the offer to to the work with guarantee within 24 hours.
Our old HVAC company was able to wrap our home warranty into this unit replacement at low expense to us however so we used them this time.
I would definitely recommend Pineapple for your consideration as I do believe they are honest and responsible and reasonably priced.

My a/c went out. I called Pineapple Air and John picked up on the second ring. Told him my issue and he informed me that he could be at my house within 2-3 hours. 2 hours later he's here with the problem diagnosed and fixed! WOW!! This company I definitely recommend. I'm very impressed.
Pineapple Air installed my new AC unit a couple of months ago. They did an excellent job and I love my new AC!!
A couple of weeks after my AC was installed, John personally came out to do a quality check and make sure everything was working appropriately.
The Smart Thermostat they installed keeps me aware of any issues. Today, on a Sunday morning, I noticed my AC temperature was not where I had set the thermostat. I called John and he was there within an hour to fix it! The issue was just a loose wire. My AC is working wonderfully once again!!
I am very happy with the professional and responsive service John and his team provide!!

I had someone out to my house in just a few hours and my AC back in good condition all in the same day. Prices seemed fair and the technician was polite and professional.
I am so impressed by John and his crew. My heating system went out on one of the coldest days in AZ. I knew ahead of time that my 20+ year system would have to be replaced. John came over on the first day called. Reviewed options with me and had a new system installed the next day. His crew were friendly and professional and on time. Just had a new state of the art electronic Air-conditioned by Pineapple Air Heating and Cooling. Owner John Provido immediately came to our home assessed the issue with our AC and provided us with an excellent estimate on a superb state of the art air-conditioner. John and his staff technicians Chino, Gunner and Christian, what a team! Professional, courteous, perfectionist work. Demolition was quick and clean, they took care to Uninstall the old unit and take it down from our attic with no issues. Then, the installation was amazing. The finish, technical set up and checks and balances of the unit, simply perfection. When the unit was started in minutes the house was immediately cooled to a comfortable 70°. Each room was quickly cooled and the vents were blowing cool refrigerated air. I highly recommend Pineapple Air for all your home refrigeration needs, and owner John Provido's expertise. One day service at an excellent price.
Even though I didn't get to call them till around 330pm, JP (owner) came out that same night. He was very thorough in explaining all the issues with our unit & provided details of the reasonable options he could offer us. His customer service was top of the line & this is why we decided to go with them to get our new unit. Upon delivery & installation, his crew (Chino, Gunner & Christian) extended that same level of excellent customer service. We were blown away, from beginning to end. Even with some of the challenges we faced, they were here every step of the way to get it all squared away. We highly recommend them & will certainly use them again. Never bothered to call. I called a second time, they promised to call back. Never did. Can't rate them if they refuse to work.
I called in a haste after being overzealous and attempting to install a smart thermostat during a nice 113 degree day. Well I butchered the install and called several companies in a panic seeing who could fix it immediately. After being brushed off by several companies and pushed back to a month out, Pineapple saved the day. I wish I remember the name but whoever I called went above and beyond. He advised he was swamped with several jobs but wanted to try and help me over the phone to save a service call for a small job. He politely informed me that I had a heat pump (as I was used to a furnace) and that all I had to do was fix a single wire. Boom wire repositioned and the AC was blowing cold again. From now on, I've found my heating and cooling company based on the courteousness and helpfulness of this company.
We were recommended to Pineapple because my niece uses them and they like them...We contacted Pineapple on the weekend (we just needed a tune-up) and we were pleasantly surprised to hear back and setting up an appointment during the week...JP came and was very nice, knowledgeable and efficient...We highly recommend and will use them again...

Our central air went out when it was 113 out. JP and his team took fantastic care of us. They were reasonably priced and prompt. They made time for us in the middle of their busy schedule when other companies wouldn't. They checked on us for days after and were so personable and friendly. Best customer service experience I've ever had!!!! Highly recommend!

I hired Pineapple Air Heating and Cooling for a yearly maintenance service. I had a hunch something was awry since my unit had gotten louder and the cooling was far less efficient. They arrived on a Friday and found out that the entire unit was installed incorrectly, was leaking, and cooling the outside air as well. I opted to replace since the unit was 11 years old. They got to work, made the calls and had the custom frame work started same day. They installed the next day and were done by noon. They had the best price and the fastest service by far. I would not use any other company for my heating and cooling needs after this experience. Very polite, professional and fast.
John came out on a Sunday morning because our blower had stopped working! After he greeted our dogs, even taking time to give scritches as needed, he got right to work. It was less than 45 minutes before he had our house nicely chilled. 10/10 would recommend! Thank you so much John!
Pineapple Air has now helped us 3 different times ! They have always showed up next day ( always emailed late Friday night and they were here first thing Sat morning !) the 2nd our AC was out and it was well over 100 outside . The warranty company told us Friday that they were not covering but could get us a quote from their company at a discount . We called JP who came sat morning and installed our brand new AC Monday morning ! I cannot stress enough how fast friendly and professional everyone one was! I would never use another company ! Thank you pineapple Air!! You have a customer and referral for life! We still have not even received a quote from the other AC company yet!
Pineapple Air came out to do a yearly maintenance on my old a/c unit and with the age and problems it had i decided to go with a new unit. JP had everything handled and installed the next day. Crew was friendly and professional and explained everything to me.

Unbelievable service! Came home Saturday night from a weekend in the mountains to find our A/C at home was out, 93 degrees in the house. Called 4 companies, major TV advertisers, no one was available within 24 hours. Called Pineapple Air because their Google ratings were 5 out of 5 with a dramatic number of reviews (43, if I recall correctly.). They were out in an hour! They gave me a choice, repair tonight (10:30 pm!!!) for $X, or replace tomorrow (Sunday???). Our unit was over 15 years old, so, we decided to replace it next day. Sure enough, late afternoon on a Sunday we had a seriously superior new heating and air conditioning system installed, up and running!! Mind boggling! It just doesn't get any better!
During the most recent heat wave, my upstairs AC unit started making loud noises one morning and would not cool. I then reached out to about 10 companies on Yelp and understandably the earliest appointment I could make would be for three to four days (!) later. I was also informed that there would usually be a fee just for the visit.
As I was debating my next steps, I suddenly remembered Pineapple Air Heating & Cooling from a few weeks prior. I saw one of their colorful vans parked near a Home Depot and remembered the giant pineapple marketing. I decided to google the company and thought what the heck and called them up for their availability. I am so glad I did because their service was great.
As luck would have it, John, the owner, picked up my call and despite having the day booked, he made time to see my unit later that day. He also did not charge any inspection fees, which was a pleasant surprise.
Our experience with John was great - he was a professional and had a good sense of humor. After he finished his inspection, he told us what was needed to repair our unit. We instructed him to order to the part, which took a couple of days to arrive.
While the part was in transit, John gave us status updates. When the part finally arrived, John came back to our home and worked tirelessly to make sure we had a unit that cooled.
To wrap up my review, I know that when my AC needs some TLC in the future, my only call will go to Pineapple.
Called them back to do maintenance on the second AC of the house - just as amazing service!
10/10 will recommend!

The day before I was scheduled to move across country, I was informed that my a/c unit had leaked into my downstairs neighbors condo causing damage to their unit. It was a Saturday in August in Arizona. I called another company first who I previously used and was told they couldn't help me until Sunday night. When I contacted Pineapple, I spoke to John the owner who said he would come to my place that night. He came and quickly diagnosed then fixed the problem. He also did the repairs to the pipe that runs through my neighbors unit. The cost was so far below what I was imagining for an emergency weekend call. I highly recommend Pineapple for the efficiency of the work, the cost, and the kindness they showed to accommodate customers.
Pineapple Air owner (John) and technician (Matt) installed a new American Standard air handler and heat pump. They were very professional and knowledgable. Excellent customer service! We highly recommend them. A+++

Fast, friendly, & affordable Service!
Today JP (the owner) came out and fix an issue I was having with a clogged dishwasher we had, he was efficient in his work, and was able to let me know what the problem was, and fix it!. Our A/C was acting up during the hottest time of the year. Called up Pineapple around 4pm on Wednesday, and had JP at the house within hours. A check of the system revealed a faulty valve in the air handler. Part was ordered ans installed Thursday evening.
Quick, courteous, and honest service. Happy to recommend to friends and family.
I highly recommend Pineapple Air! The owner JP came out and did the estimate and had his crew in the next day replacing our AC unit. They were respectful, efficient, and friendly. The price was better than the other companies we got estimates from and JP was honest with what we needed and didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. He also came out 2 days after the unit was installed to do a quick inspection to make sure everything looked good. We will definitely use him in the future!
I highly recommend this company. My A/C went out on both of my floors in my two story house. I called my home warranty company Sweet Mountain air which were very unprofessional and unresponsive. They came out for a whole 15 minutes. Never came inside and said it was fixed and it was not. I called them for 5 days straight and no return calls or texts. It was upwards of 90 degrees in my house and 120 degrees outside. So I took it upon myself and reached out to Pineapple Air. Frank was great. He came out fast,, listened to my concerns, diagnosed the problem, made sure every was working before he left my property. Very professional & kind. Most of all they don't take advantage of you. Prices are reasonable & affordable. A lifesaver to my family. I will definitely be sending referrals when my friends & family need service- 5 stars
I run a restaurant and deal with multiple HVAC companies on a monthly basis and although this was for my personal residence, by far this was my best experience. Prompt and professional, John was responsive to my call and had me back up and running within minutes. Not overpriced and very friendly! went online to get a quote for dryer vent cleaning. No response yet. Called to ask for a quote guy just tells me he needs all info i said i did it online. He like oh ok well get back to you. Really you cant just give me the quote right now...? i liked the fb reviews but the lack of communication is horrible.

I called for a quote for replacement of a whole AC system on Saturday night around 6pm and asked for his soonest available time for a quote. JP was able to come that same night a few hours later after all his other calls. The customer service was excellent and JP was very informative and knowledgeable. We ended up purchasing a new unit that same night, and they were able to get it installed on Monday. The installation guy, Bill, was friendly and professional. He did a great job and cleaned up well after he was finished. The AC unit has been working great and the Ecobee thermostat they installed is a great feature! We used to have to set our thermostat to 71 in order to keep the hot master bedroom cool enough to sleep in, but now we keep it at 76 while we're home and 74 when we sleep. It's been one week since installation and we've never had to go below 74. This will save us a ton of money in the long run! Great experience with Pineapple Air.. highly recommended!
