I called Pelican at 2:30 in the afternoon and they were able to come to the house within a little over an hour!  Cameron was great to deal with along with his co-worker and their boss Pat that I spoke with on the phone. We had a leak by the sink area behind a wall.  They immediately were able to pull out the cabinets and cut away the wall areas that had been effected by the water damage which also exposed the leaky pike that needed to be fixed!  They also installed a fan to dry things up. I look forward to seeing the rest of their work. Updates after.

Do not hire this company for anything!  Manny was extremely hard to work with since sometimes they would show up and some times they wouldn't.  Unless we called them daily regarding their work schedule, we never knew whether they were going to be on the job each day -- so terrible communication.  Also, they took what should have been a week's project to complete a full month of having a bathroom torn up and unusable.   The absolute worst was that one of their sub-contractors told us Manny asked them to add $1,000 to their part of the job and then give the additional money to Manny.  Totally untrustworthy with questionable business ethics!

Sorry for the delay of updated post. I had some issues with Marc in the past, with lack of communication.  After he explained about the family emergency.  We were able to discuss my concerns,  Marc addressed everyone of them and I  noticed some things that needed to be touched up and he was right on them. Yes we got off to a rough start and middle, lol but in the end I am very happy with Disater Link and Marc and his. I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING HIM AGAIN WHEN I DECIDE TO DO MY KITCHEN.  Thanks Marc

Had another leak at my high rise  office building yesterday. My first thought - call ATI!!! My go to team all responded shortly after  I placed the call. Jason, Colleen LeBlanc and Ryan checked in and assured me they would send out a crew within the hour. Richie Martens showed up and handled everything !!! .... including cleaning my shoes with microbial disinfectant- ATI always goes above and beyond but Richie took customer service to an exceptional level! we are still in the drying out process but ATI has kept me informed of everything that was taking place. Water damage is never fun but with ATI the problem is so much easier to deal with!!!

I hired Arizona Restoration Experts to remediate a mold problem in our kitchen that was caused by a leaking dishwasher.  Adam, one of the owners, gave me a quote for the job and then started the work the next morning.  Adam's fee was reasonable, and his work was outstanding.  While he properly sealed off the affected area, he did it in such a way that still allowed my wife and I to access our refrigerator.  I found Adam to be a person of high integrity, competent, knowledgeable, and intent on doing the job well.  For example, when the air-quality had to be retested, Adam did some additional work and then paid for the retest himself (which passed).   I learned from the Environmental Inspector that some mold remediation companies make the customer pay for all retests, but Adam felt that it was his responsibility to complete the job and ensure air-quality inspection results were good.  In short, I was very satisfied with the work done by Arizona Restoration Experts, and I recommend them.

Very professional, reasonable prices, showed up on time.  Had suggestions to improve the project.  Would definitely use again.

SHORTER VERSION  Aqua Dry came in after another company did a subpar job.  Whereas the first guys rushed through the job, Aqua Dry took 3 x the time to do it right.  They brought state of the art equipment, high wattage lights, cameras, changed filters frequently (no cutting corners). Their attention to detail was incredible; they even applied painter's tape to walls before putting up their containment area (saving your paint job) and respectfully protected my personal belonging from cross-contamination. These guys understand and know mold (they have 18 plus years experience and fully accredited) and work hard for us. Their management of cross-contamination is military-like, which you want.  Unlike the other company, they also did not trick mold clearance testing by leaving plastic over areas.  Aqua Dry's all around honesty and integrity is very rare.  Alex is also an absolute genius at inspecting for mold - and found mold colonies the other guys had totally missed, in one place by inches.  You won't find much about Aqua Dry online and I know why:  their business is nearly all word of mouth.  But I want others to know about them because mold remediation is serious health business and you need to know your mold remediator is doing the job perfectly.  Yes, perfectly.  If I could give them 10 stars here and everywhere, I would.

After being stood up for two different in person quotes I reached out to Affinity Bio Solutions through messenger in Yelp. Not only did they answer me back but they kept their appointment with me and made an on site inspection. The situation was dire and time was of the essence.  I was very please with the quote and there were no hidden fees. I actually paid less than the quote because they were able to fit everything into one dumpster not two.  To put it mildly the place was a hoarders dream and landlords nightmare.  Glen and his team did a fantastic job and I highly recommend them!!  The whole team was patient, understanding, and caring. A+++ service.

We had a flood at our rental. The complete destruction of our dining room happened. Red Eye Construction came in and did a beautiful job with the put back and with quality materials, and in a very timely manner. They worked so well with our tenant who is having a very rough time in his personal life right now. I highly recommend this company you will not regret this choice in hiring Red Eye Construction to do any remodeling you may need.

Contractor's response to my review that I twice shut the door on his crew is untrue. Contractor has yet to follow through on the return of my deposit after the cancelation of the contract.

This company was extraordinary.  They set up their dehumidifiers, came back and removed all  drywall that was water damaged and totally cleaned the space
in both closets.   Once the roof was replaced, they came back and replaced all the drywall, sealed and repainted both closets.    They were very skilled and the closets look brand new.    I want to thank them for their professionalism as well.
Sean whose kindness during this challenge diffused my frustration with the length of time it was taking to finish the restoration explaining the roof had to be completed or we would have to start all over.    He was right, it rained the following week later and the plastic covering the master closet ceiling was full of water.  This company and it's customer service are top notch.  My sincere thanks.

Let me begin by saying that I have used Yelp for guidance for many years. I've heard the skepticism re. businesses buying only the positive  reviews. The now absence of multiple negative reviews for Copperstate are indicative of this. Based on the plethora of reviews that reported the same shady, unethical acts of Copperstate I experienced, being gone, it's a safe assumption that the positive reviews are not legit.  I'd looked on Yelp for reviews when deciding to hire a contractor to deal with my flood damage. This was a time sensitive issue and I needed to move quickly. My Father called me at work and encouraged me to hurry home to meet Cory. I was under an insane amount of stress from my mom's cancer diagnosis and other personal matters, but Cory put me at ease. Perhaps a little too at ease. Cory was timely in response times, informative and appeared transparent in his delivery. as I even shared my poor past experience with another contractor. I relayed more than I normally would about the difficult personal stressors I was in the midst of. This was an attempt to impress upon him the importance of honesty and to explain my trepidation. I explained the nighmare I'd gone through during a bathroom remodel went horribly awry. (I HAD STARTED THIS DRAFT WHEN THERE WERE MULTIPLE NEGATIVE REVIEWS ) I relayed my trepidation but felt confident moving forward after assurance from Corey. My son and I were put in a hotel for 5 days while they did abatement. During this time my father, Neighbor and myself went to the home several times a day. There were no Contractor on site. During the inspection to establish damages a representative for my insurance a friend and myself emphasized the importance of keeping all cabinet fronts. This was due to and exclusion in my policy where they wouldn't replace the top cabinets. Upon returning home, I began looking for my cabinet fronts.  They were gone. Corey insisted he told his crew not to dispose of them and that they had to be there. When all was said and done, Clint Fessler gave 3 different excuses for them being disposed of. All of which were in writing to my brother, an attorney. They were covered with mold (proven false), they were old school one piece (blatantly false) and ultimately told my brother it didn't matter as they were exempt from liability based on the fine print of the contract. I'd made the mistake of informing Clint that after the already shady behavior,  I had no intention of using Copperstate for the rebuild. I had also made this decision based on the suggestion of Corey and my inspector.  Both said I could get the job done properly with licensed contractors for a much lower price. This was to avoid what I believe to be unethical to scope work. ROC claims that this is a newer practice general contractors use. It involves taking the exact insurance amount to complete the exact items on their summary. They indicated it's a pervasive problem referred to as to scope blackmail. It's a commonly used practice of unethical contractors in which they essentially cause further damage leaving a homeowner at their mercy. The contractor is then able to take the entire check. Leaving the homeowner powerless.  I had other priorities and wanted to have control of what work was done. Corey expressed willingness to refer excellent contractors that could do the work property and will still leave me with gravy for other work. The ROC stated they're still trying to establish ways to circumvent this practice and the only way to win is if the contractor offers to fix the error in exchange for 'scope. I was elated as Clint had offered exactly that and it was recorded. Ultimately,  he offered  $500 cash to sign the check. I'd avoid their aggressive phone calls for the most part. When I did speak to Clint, he was obnoxious and aggressive. He'd begin a conversation with yes ma'am and other respectful statements. The second I said something he wasn't happy about, his true colors would show. Profanity, threats and other derogatory and counterproductive dialogue. Not unlike his employee James who remains in my messages insisting he won't leave my property until the check is signed. Ultimately,  I now have 2 mechanical liens on my home that will be removed shortly. I am just starting the process of handling this now as my mom remains very ill. For anyone that wants to negate or justify this review, let me remind you the check I refused to sign is in no way greedy (Clint ' assertion). I don't and won't see a dime of that money. What possible motive would I have? A year later I still don't have flooring or a fully functional kitchen. My son has special needs and the house being torn up, coupled with his Grandma's illness has taken a toll. I will update this review upon completion of the arduous legal process. My biggest disappointment of all is Corey not

They were late arriving by about 1 hour, was supposed to be about 2 hours late however, I called and complained as I had an appointment at 9:00 a.m.  They did a good job at taking out the cabinets under the sink and the side one as well as lifting the Granite, they cleaned up very well.  But when arriving home to very loud noise of fans running - I went into the kitchen to look and it didn't look like anything needed to be dried out at all.  Also, they said black mold, but when the guys arrived they said no on the black mold, ugh.  Also, the water was not close to being as bad as they tried to explain to me - could have just used a contractor and saved money.  Then I also still had a water leak, why would you not tell someone to have a plumber fix the leak first - oh that's right they were referred to me by Parker & Sons, who didn't want to fix the leak, was too quick to jump to restoration.  Well $2,900.00 later and I still have water leaking until I can get a plumber out.  Kinda defeats the whole purpose of getting a restoration company.  I will not use Parker & Sons again.  From now on when I have a leak I will dry out with my own fans and just call a residential contractor to fix everything - good grief - would have been less money and less headache having all these different trades coming to my house.  I always have to learn the hard way.
