We had a small section of our carpet that was pulled out. I honestly didn't think it was fixable, but figured I'd have Chris look and give it a shot. Chris stopped by, had the job completed quickly, and you can't even tell where the damage used to be. Highly recommend Chris and we will definitely use him again if we (hopefully never) need to again!

I recently used Daryl to test a home where mold was suspected that my client's were considering purchasing.  Daryl's quick turn-around time, independent lab results and
his knowledge of mold and it's remediation helped them make an informed decision.

Restoration HQ did a fantastic job. Alexcis was great, she worked with me to schedule and re-schedule several times and made sure they could come at a time that was convenient for us. Ricardo showed up early, was super nice, and did fantastic quality work. I would recomend Restoration HQ to anyone in need of drywall repair or damage restoration of any kind.

After receiving a quote from Shane to repair my broken window and aluminum frame, he came out the very next day at exactly the time I requested.  He replaced the glass and repaired the frame so that everything looked and worked great again, all for a fair price.  He was a pleasure to work with, and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing window repair.

I have a big diving pool that was losing about three inches of water a day. I wanted the Best to find out where leak was. Ryan came out and tested everything and could not find it. They were packing up to leave and Ryan would not give up and dove in one more time. He detected a  gurlging sound at main drain. Long story short leak was in main pipe from drain. Chris came out 4 months later when weather was good and jackhammered thru my pebble tech and fixed it perfectly. He was here for three days. He was so professional and good to be around I hated to see him leave. Remember I wanted the best? Well I got it. From Melinda in the office, to Ryan and his right hand man (do not know his name)who finally found the leak, to Chris who did the hard work of the repair I would rehire them all in a second. !
PS To show the Integrity of Ryan I have a short story.
When Ryan was packing up his truck An elderly Gentleman was pushing his Walker on my sidewalk to The DMV over 2 Miles away across a main busy street. Ryan asked Him where he was going and took his Walker, put it back of his truck and took him to the DMV. (I picked gentleman up). I was so impressed That I was not getting any more bids and this was the company I was using.

ServPro of Paradise Valley is great to work with. They are professional, prompt, very knowledgeable and honest. Their pricing is very fair. After getting three quotes from various companies, I knew Josh and his ServPro team were the best choice. They did a thorough inspection and explained the complete process for cleaning up our water damage. It is worth noting that there are other ServPro companies in the area and they are independently owned and operated. ServPro of Paradise Valley is who I would recommend.

I highly recommend this company.  Jeff the owner and his team were amazing.  Customer service, honesty, and his team were great.  Jeff was awesome at explaining how everything worked and the possibilities.  I wouldn't go with anyone else as during these circumstances people could be over charged!  Jeff and his company gave us an amazing price and great workmanship!

Ron was on time, professional and did a very good job. All the naughty things my two dogs did have disappeared! As well as all the fur due to summer shedding. I would definitely try to get his service again and recommend to others.

They quoted online with our detailed photos and came out when they said they would . Did a great job replanting and trimming our tree that had fallen over due to being too heavy. Great group of people too all working hard and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use again to trim our trees.

Tom's assessment of the remedial work necessary for my situation was direct and thorough.  Tom explained all options, even explaining how I could do some of the work myself in order to save money.  I ultimately hired Tom and his company to do the entire job and I was so glad I did.  Could not ask for a more professional, helpful contractor.  Perhaps most of all, I appreciated his reassurances during a stressful time.
Tom and his company are indeed a blessing.

If I could give these folks ten stars, I would do it in a New York Minute. They were nothing short of amazing - from the first moment I had a conversation with them (Angela's about as caring an individual as you will ever find), to the last walk-through after they were finished. Efficient, thorough, comprehensive. Can't say enough good things about them.

Tim with Master of Disaster is the most helpful person you will meet BEFORE the work begins.  After the work begins, if there are any issues or problems, Tim essentially becomes a ghost.  Hired him to install a water filtration system...there were a number of issues.  

After installation, the water in the house was blue.  Called Tim on multiple occasions to inquire if this was normal, no response.  I finally decided to call to manufacturer of the water filtration system directly.  They inquired, what is the water pressure regulator set at?  I told them there was no  water pressure regulator installed.  The manufacturer told me that because Tim did not install the water pressure regulator, it voided the warranty on my new $1,600 system.  

The manufacturer also informed me they could have installed the entire system for $1,100 (including the water pressure regulator) so Tim deliberately overcharged me.  I spent 4-5 days trying to get a hold of Tim.  Finally...he felt I was worthy enough to receive a return phone call.  Tim came to my house, looked in me in the eye, and told me he would have his guys come out later that afternoon and install the water pressure regulator.  Told me not worry...he would take care of it.  His guys never showed, and that is the last time I heard from Tim.  By the way...I had to spend additional money getting a water pressure regulator installed myself.

Besides the water filtration system, Tim was also suppose to install a new sink.  He did install the sink, but his guys were sloppy during installation and I now have a 4 inch gash in the counter.  Tim tried to tell me the gash was there the entire time...yeah...right Tim.  I must have overlooked the gash as I only lived in the house 11 years prior to your guys being hired.

Lastly...be very careful if you are receiving water restoration services.  Tim preps you for phone call to the insurance company.  After invoices were submitted to the insurance company for work performed, I received a phone call from the insurance company regarding how much they were charged. The individual wanted to know specifically what work was actually performed.  Think about that for second..and ask yourself if you want to do business with these guys?

Totally would recommend. Was able to come out same day of the leak. Kept us notified on when they'd be able to come out.  Anthony took his time explaining the whole process on how everything works. I had tons of questions and he had all the answers. I appreciate him taking his time with us as first time homeowners not knowing what to expect. He did a great job with excellent customer service. Justin and Paul were amazing.  They showed up so fast, professional and helpful.  I would recommend to anyone!

Our home was water damaged by a break in a fire sprinkler pipe. This led to us selecting Kowalski Construction Inc to do the mitigation, contents moving and storage, and the restoration of our home. Although my wife and I interacted with were polite staff and listened to our concerns, we experienced a terrible experience with Kowalski Construction Inc. In particular, we wish to commend Greg, Ron, Alfred, and Robert who were diligent and picked up the pieces after the fact.

The work done demonstrated incompetence, lack of attention to detail, and poor oversight and management of the project. Communications and hand-off between mitigation team, restoration team, packing team, and the billing group was totally lacking contributing to the mess that our home restoration project became. It is because of this that we feel Kowalski Construction service was ultimately substandard. My wife had to function as the de facto project manager in all aspects of the job because Jeramy was regularly absent from the site or nonresponsive.
I list a series of examples of the shoddy workmanship, lack of oversight and incomprehensible billing process.
1. Initial painting of the house was performed by inexperienced painters who had to be instructed by my wife about a simple as taking off light switch plates and not paint over screws that would make it extremely difficult to remove in the future if necessary.
2. Baseboards were installed in an erratic manner so they were not aligned and at different heights from the floor throughout the house. This required them being removed and reinstalled.
3.  Marble floor tiles, broken in the process of the dishwasher installation, were replaced by untrained individuals. This necessitated my wife finding a qualified floor tile expert for the third attempt.
4. A piece of granite counter was removed from one cabinet in the kitchen during the tear out and placed with the broken granite from the laundry room and severely damaged spare bathroom into the garage. This granite counter was intact and we were assured that because no granite in the kitchen was broken during tear out so we would be able to preserve the kitchen granite in toto. About 2 weeks before we moved back into our home i.e. ~4 months later, when my wife asked where this piece was, it discovered that the perfectly good piece of granite was removed to be discarded by Kowalski staff along with the damaged granite when my wife asked where this piece was. This resulted in purchasing a new set of slabs for the subsequent tear out and replacement of all the kitchen granite 1 month after we moved back into our home.
5. When the tear out was underway we went with Greg to Lowe's on June 28, 2018 to select hardware replacement including 2 vent fans for the bathroom and laundry room. These vent fans that were sitting at Kowalski Construction facilities were not installed before the new dry wall was put into the bathroom and laundry room. It necessitated cutting into the dry wall and inserting the vents from the ceiling above after the fact about 5 months after the vent purchase.
6. When putting in the vents Ron discovered that insulation was not put back into the space between the ceiling and roof as was required and billed for. This necessitated the last minute rental of a blower and blowing insulation in above the laundry room and bathroom when the cleaning crew had already started to clean the house for the pack back.
7. During the pack back it was discovered that the feet to our living room couch had gone missing. No one at Kowalski could find them in the storage facility.
8. A handmade occasional table that was stored by Kowalski had one leg broken off in the storage/moving process. Instead of getting it fixed, someone at Kowalski put some screws into the leg and table in an unsuccessful attempt to secure it. Then a Kowalski mover had the nerve to tell us to be careful with the table because a leg was loose.
9. Jeramy, who was responsible for overseeing this job, did not come to our house from early December 2018 until the completion of the job. How he could oversee anything is beyond my understanding.
10. The billing process Kowalski uses is opaque to the customer. An invoice for over $39,000 was issued to me for a supplemental contract. What this supplemental contract was supplemental to, was not clear. What charges were included in this supplemental contract were totally lacking. The billing staff was unable to tell me what this was for when I called.

These points are described because I considered them major and resulted in redoes, last minute fixes that resulted in carryovers beyond when we moved back, and demonstrated lack of consideration for customers. I cannot recommend Kowalski Construction for any restoration project, and recommend that people avoid dealings with Kowalski Construction on any residential projects.
