Great Locksmith, I had trouble rekeying a lock cylinder at Ace hardware and they failed miserably. The key was getting stuck in the cylinder and wasn't easy to turn to unlock. I took my cylinders to Downtown Locksmith and they have the cylinders working like new! I appreciate the quality of workmanship. I will be back next time I have a rekeying job.

Fast and Efficent
Requested a quote and a few days later, he came to change my locks on my front door and rekey my back.  I had bought these expensive locks and the deadbolt ended up being defective. He expressed that the locks I have are extremely great locks and I should just get my money back and not worry about changing them.  I agreed. He repackaged it nicely and I just rekeyed that lock.  He saved me $155 by returning that lock.  I was happy about that.  Very cool guy.  Highly recommend, Ricky

Just returned from their shop & was so pleased  with their service to me. All 3 gentlement were kind, courteous & very helpful. Great customer service is so rare & these days. They quickly tested my smart key fob, (dead) supplied me with a new Ford key, programmed it in, &when the car gave me a low battery fob signal, they swapped out both batteries in 2 fobs for me. The price was great , too. Saved me $115 off a new key at a Ford dealer. The shop owner should be extremely proud of his staff! Peter got me to make the drive, pleasant & knowledgeable on the phone, the other 2 techs who assisted I did not get their names, unfortunately, a clean cut man, & a bearded man were just awesome, too. Bad service! I locked my car key in the truck. When I called them, they told it costed $29, but it turned out to charge me $180. It is a cheating company. I will BBB them. Never use them

After spending hours trying to find a locksmith to reset a safe combination I found Mercury in my back yard.  Everyone I contacted worked out of a van and really did not impress me.  I took the safe door to their shop and got it back the next day.  While there they cut me a duplicate key for a tool box that nobody else had a blank for.  Very knowledgeable and reasonable.  They are my new go to locksmith.

Don't let them fool you. No 24/7 service here. Called at night to help being locked out of the house and not even a return call.

Just like everyone else who has to call a locksmith: "Damn!  How dumb was that?!"  Frustration mounts because, well, in most cases you blew it by doing something stupid.  Needed to get a MTB off a locked roof rack and had forgotten the key.  United answered on the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and was here to help in 30 minutes.  Job accomplished with great service.

The technician met me on-site at the time scheduled!  Imagine that - a vendor that shows up when they say they will.  Love it.  He rekeyed all locks and provided advice on issues I didn't even realize I had.  I really appreciate his advice and expertise!  Very professional, quick, and knowledgeable.  Thank you!

Worst company ever.   Couldn't get my name right.  Wouldn't answer questions.  Kept asking if I was an owner or renter.  Could not answer a simple question of what types of keys they offer.    Unbelievable ignorance.

Peter did an AMAZING job for our clients! We are real estate agents and had a client who moved out of the country and took all his keys to the home, expecting us to use the electronic keypad for access. That worked great until the battery pack died and we had zero access to the home for sale!! Peter was able to arrive quickly, gain access to the home, rekey the entire home(with smart locks) and change the battery pack in the electronic keypad - all for a very reasonable price. We highly recommend Peter and his company, Surprise Locksmith, for any and all your locksmith needs!
