I called JT because I had a piece of broken key stuck inside my front door. He came as early as he could and fixed the lock and made me copies and was very nice, friendly and professional.  Excellent service from the time you call for service until completion. I will most definitely use JT for all my key services again. I'm glad I trusted the reviews on here. He's AWESOME. Thank you !

The guy that runs the front counter is so nice and professional. He is very knowledgeable and has been able to help me multiple times with some odd requests I have had with my business. Great place, great prices, and great fast service. Definitely check them out.

Jumbo and Chad came out today for a household re-keying job I needed done.  They were both very pleasant and professional, and the work performed was exceptional.  I highly recommend their services!

Before we employed this company in Phoenix we asked if there would be a problem with mailing the new keys to us in Canada.  Answer was no.  The work was done on August 3....we didn't receive the new keys until Sept. 10!!!  We had emailed them numerous times during this time as to where our keys were...first it was claimed they had been mailed shortly after the work was done.  By the third week in August with still no sign of them we phoned them on Sept.1.They said there had been some problems with customs so they were mailing the keys again.  When we finally received them in a cardboard envelope it was very disconcerting to see that they included in their return address  "Mr. Rekey"  which clearly indicates what is in the package.  But what was really alarming was the original paper envelope contained within the cardboard envelope that they had attempted to mail...postmark Aug. 31....it was a window envelope that displayed the invoice & anyone handling it could see the address where the locksmith had changed the locks. And you could feel the keys inside.  I would never use these people again.  Not trustworthy....a locksmith who can't keep track of keys.

Hottest day so far and my lock broke. CJ arrived within 30 minutes to drill out the lock and put a new one in. Thank you!

Ernie was absolutely fantastic! Very prompt and professional. I had all the locks (8) re-keyed in my new home. The price was great and I feel extremely satisfied with his work. I will surely recommend Keys Please to friends and family!

I called them for service and they never returned my call. They said someone would call me right back with a service time. I never heard back from them. The person who answered the phone sounded like I was an inconvenience.

Excellent experience. I had to replace a lost Nissan key.  This business was efficient/fast.  They are experts at their craft.  We were on our way in no time and at a reasonable price. Person on the phone was happy to tell me that they charge $29 for the service call $25 for the labor and after that would not even attempt to try to give me any sort of ballpark figure on what it would cost for a rekey or making a new key for a house lock. She kept saying it depended on the lock. Of course I get that but I'm not going to send out their service person without some sort of ballpark figure and they lost my business because of the vagueness of the possibility of what that price could be. Are we talking $50? $500? Are we talking $1,000? I told her it was a regular house Sledge door lock but still no ballpark figure of what it would cost. She did offer to have her service person call me on their way out to give me some sort of ballpark figure but I don't want a ballpark figure when they're scheduled to come out I want to know the ballpark figure to decide whether or not I want them to come out.

Good old fashioned key shop!! Professional and experienced. I needed some keys made for my office. The local hardware stores had no idea how to handle a commercial door key. I called several "locksmiths" who are nothing more than a guy with a truck. All wanted well over $150 for a service call just to make a couple keys. Finally I found 35th Ave Key shop and was delighted to find a business that was open on a Sunday. I was out the door in 5 mins with 5 new keys for less than $25.00. This place is great no nonsense...Just great service!!!

wow this guy is a complete scam.  Took a electric scooter in that had full warranty through razor and he is the service center for this company.  Asked me for a $15.00 dollar deposit that I was supposed to get back..  He told me that they would only give $30.00 labor back to him so I would have to pay the rest.  WELL WHY IS HE IN BUSINESS WITH RAZOR.COM THEN? I said I was coming down to get my $15.00 dollar deposit and my 8 year old sons scooter back, and he said "YOUR NOT GETTING ANYTHING"  HE ALSO DIDN'T EVEN CALL AND LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON, AND HE HUNG UP ON ME.  WOW!

Called this outfit at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday w/key stuck in my ignition.

Guy showed up in ~an hour. First, he told me he thought he could fix it in 20 minutes & would cost me $310... um, wow.

I agreed because they had me by the balls.

After about 40 min, the locksmith said that the ignition cylinder would need replaced, that he was going to go get one "at the company warehouse, 5 minutes away".

He returned after an hour & said "Nobody has your part in stock. I went to O'Reileys, Auto zone, blah blah blah..."
Company warehouse my a$$...

So he tells me that it's only available at Honda, it's much more expensive & my bill will jump to $475. I tell him to forget it, I'll have it towed somewhere & the price magically dropped to $330.

I PAY HIM THE $330 CASH, & off he goes to Honda around noon. He returns at dinner time only to inform me that he has the wrong part, it won't fit & Honda is closed until tomorrow morning at "10 or 11".

So, it's now Friday morning. I'm out $330 & I don't hear from anyone before NOON when I FINALLY CALL THEM.
Jerk around, jerk around, put off.
I call again at 1:30 & still dont have a solid commitment.

Presumably this will still get fixed today. Assuming so, I would never, ever call this company again & I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

If zero stars was an option, it would be appropriate. They did nothing right.

Unless you love being jerked around, put off, lied to & overcharged. In which case, you're going to love A1 locksmith in Phoenix.
