Last year I called to inquire if they offered security services and they did not. But they gave me references and were very cheerful about it. Today, I called and made an appointment to bring in a door lever/lock for repair. The owner called me back when he read a description of the issue, and told me how to fix it without bringing it in.  So fixed it myself for free!  He easily could have had me bring it in, fixed it there, and charged me and I would have been none the wiser. I did not find that fix via Internet search. And he did all that with a smile in his voice.  I thought people and service didn't exist like this anymore, so I was very pleasantly surprised.

Wonderful staff, affordable pricing, easy to work with. These guys are an asset to the community!

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

I gave him the key code over the phone. When I arrived the keys were waiting. He is so darn friendly too. I highly recommend. I will be giving his name to all my friends. Especially those with rental properties that have to be re-keyed all the time.

Advertised as 24 hour availability and automated answering service reiterates that claim.   Forwarded to an "operator " line 12 times over 30 minutes, so I'm seriously considering the claim to be false.

I lost my only car key today and maor came to my rescue!! He had it rekeyed and had the remote and chip working in less than 20 mins. I would recommend this company and will use them again if I'm ever in need of a locksmith.

Needed some work done on a commercial lock. Great service over the phone to make the appointment.  They sent a text when on the way and "Big Mike" arrived on time and did great work.  We had a simple repair and the lock was working in no time.  

They charged a fair price and didn't try to upsell or overcharge anything.  Will use again and recommend to folks needing help with a quality locksmith.

Person on the phone was happy to tell me that they charge $29 for the service call $25 for the labor and after that would not even attempt to try to give me any sort of ballpark figure on what it would cost for a rekey or making a new key for a house lock. She kept saying it depended on the lock. Of course I get that but I'm not going to send out their service person without some sort of ballpark figure and they lost my business because of the vagueness of the possibility of what that price could be. Are we talking $50? $500? Are we talking $1,000? I told her it was a regular house Sledge door lock but still no ballpark figure of what it would cost. She did offer to have her service person call me on their way out to give me some sort of ballpark figure but I don't want a ballpark figure when they're scheduled to come out I want to know the ballpark figure to decide whether or not I want them to come out.

This is a great place to get your keys made. They have just about every key blank you can imagine and the owner has been in the business for a long time. They have never let me down yet.

Based on recommendation from the manufacturer I dropped my pressure washer off for repair when the engine ran perfectly but the pump seemed to be an issue.  I was told the repair would take "about a week".  After not hearing back for 2 weeks I called and seemed to irritate the person for asking if my pressure washer was ready. They asked if someone called me and told me it was ready and I said no. I guess their attempt to make me feel like a jerk for calling.At that time I was at least told my pump was bad and they ordered a pump.... it would be about another week. Another week passed and no update.... followed by another week when I again called and went through the same routine.  The 3rd time I called, after a month since I dropped the washer off, I was told the "just got the new pump today".  How convenient.  I picked up my washer and told the charges were covered by the warranty so I thought that was great and a good sign.  So here is where it get good!!! - I hooked up my pressure washer when I got home, fired up the engine, and guess what????  The pressure washer worked no better than the day I dropped it off... same issue.  My guess is that no work was ever done. Since they didn't charge me anything I wasn't concerned when he gave me no paperwork but in hindsight it was clear they just wanted to get rid of me and didn't need my business.  As with other reviews the communication was terrible and their service less than poor. Quite a few places in the valley for small engine repair which I will use for future needs.

Called this outfit at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday w/key stuck in my ignition.

Guy showed up in ~an hour. First, he told me he thought he could fix it in 20 minutes & would cost me $310... um, wow.

I agreed because they had me by the balls.

After about 40 min, the locksmith said that the ignition cylinder would need replaced, that he was going to go get one "at the company warehouse, 5 minutes away".

He returned after an hour & said "Nobody has your part in stock. I went to O'Reileys, Auto zone, blah blah blah..."
Company warehouse my a$$...

So he tells me that it's only available at Honda, it's much more expensive & my bill will jump to $475. I tell him to forget it, I'll have it towed somewhere & the price magically dropped to $330.

I PAY HIM THE $330 CASH, & off he goes to Honda around noon. He returns at dinner time only to inform me that he has the wrong part, it won't fit & Honda is closed until tomorrow morning at "10 or 11".

So, it's now Friday morning. I'm out $330 & I don't hear from anyone before NOON when I FINALLY CALL THEM.
Jerk around, jerk around, put off.
I call again at 1:30 & still dont have a solid commitment.

Presumably this will still get fixed today. Assuming so, I would never, ever call this company again & I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

If zero stars was an option, it would be appropriate. They did nothing right.

Unless you love being jerked around, put off, lied to & overcharged. In which case, you're going to love A1 locksmith in Phoenix.
