JT's is a great key and locksmith company. I've had them to my home in Maricopa for a couple different re-key projects. Always very courteous and one of the more affordable solutions in Maricopa. I called this morning for service on re-keying my mailbox. They were able to complete my service the same day! Quick and personable. Support this local family-owned and operated business! Called to ask a few questions as I am new to buying a safe. The man that answered the phone told me just to go the website or come in.  He definitely did not want to take the time to answer a question. He was rude and abrupt.. I then told him that I would call another safe company as I thought that he was rude. He responded OK and hung up. Not the kind of person that I would want to do business with. Not customer oriented. I then called another safe company. They were totally different. Answered my questions and told me to call back if I could think of any other questions. Yes, we are going there today to buy a safe. Great customer service skills.

These guys are GREAT! From Marty in the front to the key wizard Jimbo and his new side kick Doug. So helpful, kind and great prices. Made me a new key for my 26 yr old truck, had to take the door apart to do it! With an hour labor and a new key only charged me $30, what a deal!!!! Wonderful people with integrity to match. I made an appointment online and it was confirmed.  The technician called me the morning of.  

I was in the middle of directing traffic with movers and the pool guy on a house I had closed escrow on one hour before.  Robert showed up promptly, I showed him my locks.  He explained my options without trying to upsell me as I had a lock not like the others.   He laid out my options and we chose one based on the fact I wanted everything keyed alike.

Robert finished his work quickly and efficiently and I was charged a fair price with no surprises..  If only the rest of my house purchase went as smoothly as my appointment with Robert at Mr Rekey.  Thanks!

Story making short,while visiting my family and friends got locked out of the house used services of locksmith very friendly and on time most important work done professional way and reasonable price.Thank you very much.

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

I had a difficult case other locksmiths could not handle.  I had scooter battery lock with no key.  B's Lock and Key showed up exactly when he said he would and was able to make me two keys so I could access the batteries and charge them.  So professional kind and reasonably priced.   He had to hand make the key using an old motorcycle key blank.   So relieved to not have to ditch the scooter because couldn't unlock battery.  Thank you!

Connor came out and helped me today. I was locked out of my car AND lost the key.  He came and took care of business promptly.  He also told me about my AARP discount!  So helpful!  Highly recommended!

I contacted Copperstate regarding additional lock options. They gave a very thoughtful onsite review, and presented me with a number of options. They scheduled me in quickly for the install, and the service technician went out of his way to ensure that I both understood and was happy with the solution. Great customer experience--highly recommended!

So it's actually acme, not ace, but whatever. Hours posted on the website, Yelp, and in the window were ALL different. But still like to support a local business, and I was able to get everything I needed rekeyed for half the price than if I'd gotten all mee hardware, which would've been the only option at hardware stores. Service was friendly and efficient, and saved me money compared to alternative options. And it's close to home. This will be my go to locksmith in the neighborhood.

Person on the phone was happy to tell me that they charge $29 for the service call $25 for the labor and after that would not even attempt to try to give me any sort of ballpark figure on what it would cost for a rekey or making a new key for a house lock. She kept saying it depended on the lock. Of course I get that but I'm not going to send out their service person without some sort of ballpark figure and they lost my business because of the vagueness of the possibility of what that price could be. Are we talking $50? $500? Are we talking $1,000? I told her it was a regular house Sledge door lock but still no ballpark figure of what it would cost. She did offer to have her service person call me on their way out to give me some sort of ballpark figure but I don't want a ballpark figure when they're scheduled to come out I want to know the ballpark figure to decide whether or not I want them to come out.

My husband and I got up this morning early, after leaving our 21 month old with grandma overnight, to rent a U-Haul truck to move our storage unit closer to us. I have massive anxiety and we were already running behind to beat the mid-day heat, so we reserved the truck through U-Hauls contactless mobile check-in service.

We got to the location, checked in, signed the contract, and paid. The app gave us the code for the lock box. I hopped out of our car and quickly opened the lock, only to find the key was missing. No big deal. The app said to go ask for the key.

I go inside and meet the manager. [Now, I am sure he is/was a lovely guy. Several "regulars" popped in while we were there and he was only too happy to help them by name.] However, when I asked for the key he sat at his computer, said I wasn't in his system, so we would have to fill out new applications and waivers.

I tried to stay calm and explain that we just needed the key, and we wouldn't be in his "check-in" list because we already signed the contract, paid, and were given the code to the lock box. To which he replied - "nope, you're not in my system so theres nothing I can do. They shouldn't have given you the code."

At this point, I'm nearly in tears and start having a panic attack. I will admit I did curse (though not at him) and told him his incompetence wasn't my problem (after he said our not getting the key wasn't his problem). And I do regret that. It was not the right thing to say, but it genuinely was his incompetence that was holding up our already stressful, running behind, on a time limit before the baby comes back, day.  

At this point, he threatens to call the cops and says no matter what he is refusing to rent to us. To which I reply that I have a signed contract saying the truck is rented to me until 3pm, and that the police would be on my side. I'm bawling and hyperventilating at this point. I've already apologized. And he still won't give us the dang key.

I get ahold of U-Haul, they tell me I am correct and that this man is supposed to give us the key. They call him while we are on hold. He says he's not renting to us and hangs up on them and walks outside. They call him back (probably a few times) and explain that the truck is not his and that he is not the one renting to us! They tell him to give us the key.

Finally, after almost an hour, he hands us the key and says there was a miscommunication.

I understand that at his age, he may not know how mobile CONTACTLESS check-in works in a pandemic. But what I don't understand is how someone who spat at me that he's "gone to church every Sunday his whole life" could be SO COLD when someone in need is clearly having a hard time. Where is the empathy? What would Jesus do?

I did notice that he has a sign at the desk advertising that he is selling his business. I sure hope someone buys it soon, as this assumedly once helpful man desperately needs to retire!

this place is THE WORST. unprofessional and below satisfactory. i took my bike in on a tuesday, they said it would be ready in 3 or 4 days, then called me the next day to say it was ready. i called them back to let them know i'd be able to get it saturday, the man was really rude and told me that they don't hold them that long and they don't have any room to keep it and don't i have any friends that could come pick it up for me. so i got my dad to go get it for me and when he picked it up, the chain kept coming off whenever he'd come to a stop. so he took it back and the guy told him that someone must have greased the chain, to which my dad replied he had just picked the bike up and hasn't touched the chain. my dad also said that they had "fixed" the brakes, but he made them redo them because he said they were way too tight. very unsatisfied with the professionalism AND with the bike repair.

Called this outfit at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday w/key stuck in my ignition.

Guy showed up in ~an hour. First, he told me he thought he could fix it in 20 minutes & would cost me $310... um, wow.

I agreed because they had me by the balls.

After about 40 min, the locksmith said that the ignition cylinder would need replaced, that he was going to go get one "at the company warehouse, 5 minutes away".

He returned after an hour & said "Nobody has your part in stock. I went to O'Reileys, Auto zone, blah blah blah..."
Company warehouse my a$$...

So he tells me that it's only available at Honda, it's much more expensive & my bill will jump to $475. I tell him to forget it, I'll have it towed somewhere & the price magically dropped to $330.

I PAY HIM THE $330 CASH, & off he goes to Honda around noon. He returns at dinner time only to inform me that he has the wrong part, it won't fit & Honda is closed until tomorrow morning at "10 or 11".

So, it's now Friday morning. I'm out $330 & I don't hear from anyone before NOON when I FINALLY CALL THEM.
Jerk around, jerk around, put off.
I call again at 1:30 & still dont have a solid commitment.

Presumably this will still get fixed today. Assuming so, I would never, ever call this company again & I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

If zero stars was an option, it would be appropriate. They did nothing right.

Unless you love being jerked around, put off, lied to & overcharged. In which case, you're going to love A1 locksmith in Phoenix.
