Unfortunately five stars is the highest rating because they deserve far more credit for the attentive, extremely prompt, and caring customer service they provide.  

I had a last minute emergency to rekey my mom's entire home, due to an order of protection against a drug abusing and mentally unstable younger brother, who thought he could continue to occupy the home, even though an order of protection for my mom and her home said he could not.

My recently widowed mom (our dad died from COVID) needed to sell her home. Two property inspections were cancelled due to this former brother being there and chasing away inspectors. The need to secure the residence was immediate, and JT's husband and wife team had it done within 24 hours afterwards making arrangements for the new keys to be mailed to us.  They confirmed the garage code had been changed, locks were changed; and when I mentioned not knowing if the windows were all locked they said they could go back to the house and make sure they were locked.  WOW!!!!

They treat you like family.  The genuine care and concern in their voices is palapable. They are two amazing human beings ,and I sincerely wish our world was filled with more people like them.  I will never forget their kindness, and my mom's mind and fears have been placed at ease.  THANK YOU SO MUCH JT'S !!!!

I had to get some keys copied for my office door and Wal-Mart couldn't copy the specific shape of key, and neither could Home Depot, so they recommended us to this place.

We walked in and I showed the guy at the front desk (I assume he is the owner) the key and said I would like 2 copies. The key says "do not duplicate" on it, and since Home Depot and Wal Mart didn't even bother to acknowledge that, I figured this guy would just ask what it was for, and once I told him an office door, all would be well.
I had my boss' company credit card with me, as some sort of proof of where I worked or whatever, and was going to show him.

Before I could even open my mouth, the man started rudely asking me things like "how do I know you're even authorized to copy this key? How do I know where you work? I don't know who you are, I don't know who your boss is."

Each time I tried to tell him where I worked and that I had the company credit card, he interrupted me and was almost grilling me. Finally I showed him the card and all of a sudden he was nice. Took the key from me and copied it. Once he came back to cash me out he was all polite and had a total change of attitude. But I was so thrown off by his interrogation I wasn't sure what to do.

I paid for the copied keys and went on my way. My coworker that was with me noticed the same attitude and we both agreed as soon as we left the store that the man was extremely rude.

I probably wouldn't find myself back there for any other reason in the future, but if I need a key copied that Home Depot or Wal Mart can't do, I'll go somewhere besides this place, even if just to avoid the rude service.

Incredible service from Jaime and Prescott Lock and Safe. I called them with a safe problem and they literally solved it for a very low fee in a matter of minutes. Professional, high-level of expertise, a wonderful experience. I'd recommend them to anyone at anytime.

I made an appointment online and it was confirmed.  The technician called me the morning of.  

I was in the middle of directing traffic with movers and the pool guy on a house I had closed escrow on one hour before.  Robert showed up promptly, I showed him my locks.  He explained my options without trying to upsell me as I had a lock not like the others.   He laid out my options and we chose one based on the fact I wanted everything keyed alike.

Robert finished his work quickly and efficiently and I was charged a fair price with no surprises..  If only the rest of my house purchase went as smoothly as my appointment with Robert at Mr Rekey.  Thanks!

Excellent service! I got locked out of my room and within minutes I had someone come over and open up the the door no problem. He was very professional and did an amazing job!

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

Tyrone arrived at my place of business very promptly. He discussed different type of rekeying options, and different levels of security, such as rekeying so the locks can't be "bumped" open. He explained the different parts of the lock and key process, allowing me to make an informed decision in the level of security that fit my budget. He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. His prices were the best I found in the greater Phoenix area. I recommend him whole-hardheartedly.

I have used this locksmith twice.  Once for a car lock and now for my office to have it re-keyed.  They show up on time and do a great job at a reasonable price!

I was having trouble with the lock to my gas tank on my truck.  Turns out the auto key was not original and very worn.  They tried a number of methods and go it open.  Five minutes later I was on my way with two new keys.  They are very professional and have a lot of experience.  Very affordable too.

I called them for service and they never returned my call. They said someone would call me right back with a service time. I never heard back from them. The person who answered the phone sounded like I was an inconvenience.

We have a 2000 Lexus LX470. Had it since new and over the years lost all the keys with exception to the non-fob smart key key. Wanted to have a Fob key made. Contacted the Lexus dealer and was quoted around $350 plus the cost of the blank key (over $400). Contacted a couple other locksmiths who told me they would rather not attempt it due to the difficulty. Searched Yelp and called Car Key Replacement who said they could do the job. Met with Maor and he explained the unique complexity with this year and model Lexus in that it is one of the most challenging ignition systems to recreate a Fob key using the non-fob smart key. Nevertheless he said he could do the job and quoted me about half the cost of what the dealership wanted to charge me. Long story short, it took about 90 minutes, a lot of specialized equipment and professional manuals and he handed me a new Fob key. Can't say enough about Maor and his knowledge and dedication to his craft. I am certain there is nothing that he can't do when it comes to car key replacement...and for a great price. I called the office and spoke to a lady about having the lock on our 3rd car garage replaced as a tenant lost the key. I explained it was a T-lock handle and she said no problem. She gave me an estimate of cost and said someone could be to the house within an hour. I called back to make arrangements for someone to meet them at the house and the lady now said they don't do these kinds of locks...only car ignitions. I asked why I was told earlier that they did do it and she hung up on me.

This is a great place to get your keys made. They have just about every key blank you can imagine and the owner has been in the business for a long time. They have never let me down yet.

This place is great.  I found it by chance as a certified repair shop for an electric razor scooter I bought.  The owner is old school and he's carved out a nice little business for himself.  Definitely a local small business.  Great service and a fun experience.

Called this outfit at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday w/key stuck in my ignition.

Guy showed up in ~an hour. First, he told me he thought he could fix it in 20 minutes & would cost me $310... um, wow.

I agreed because they had me by the balls.

After about 40 min, the locksmith said that the ignition cylinder would need replaced, that he was going to go get one "at the company warehouse, 5 minutes away".

He returned after an hour & said "Nobody has your part in stock. I went to O'Reileys, Auto zone, blah blah blah..."
Company warehouse my a$$...

So he tells me that it's only available at Honda, it's much more expensive & my bill will jump to $475. I tell him to forget it, I'll have it towed somewhere & the price magically dropped to $330.

I PAY HIM THE $330 CASH, & off he goes to Honda around noon. He returns at dinner time only to inform me that he has the wrong part, it won't fit & Honda is closed until tomorrow morning at "10 or 11".

So, it's now Friday morning. I'm out $330 & I don't hear from anyone before NOON when I FINALLY CALL THEM.
Jerk around, jerk around, put off.
I call again at 1:30 & still dont have a solid commitment.

Presumably this will still get fixed today. Assuming so, I would never, ever call this company again & I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

If zero stars was an option, it would be appropriate. They did nothing right.

Unless you love being jerked around, put off, lied to & overcharged. In which case, you're going to love A1 locksmith in Phoenix.
