Last year I called to inquire if they offered security services and they did not. But they gave me references and were very cheerful about it. Today, I called and made an appointment to bring in a door lever/lock for repair. The owner called me back when he read a description of the issue, and told me how to fix it without bringing it in.  So fixed it myself for free!  He easily could have had me bring it in, fixed it there, and charged me and I would have been none the wiser. I did not find that fix via Internet search. And he did all that with a smile in his voice.  I thought people and service didn't exist like this anymore, so I was very pleasantly surprised.

I needed to get my home re keyed ,so I called around to get the best price. When the first locksmith came to my house after he saw the job the price almost doubled, I told him he could leave and I would call someone else.....  The next company was Pinnacle lock @ safe.  They arrived at the time we agreed upon,did the job at the price I was quoted ...   The tech was very knowledge in his field and made me feel confident in my choice of locksmith.....  I would recommend Pinnacle to all that ask for a locksmith..

Made an appoint and replaced my broken front door latch and repaired our safe. The price was very reasonable and I would recommend this business to any one has to replace or repair door locks or safes. I will probably have him come back to install a new lock on my bedroom door.

I called Mr. Rekey this morning to change out a new home (to me) locks, never sure who has keys and want to be safe.  They sent Gus the technician out and he fixed everything.  The cost was surprisingly low for 7 locks.  Gus even helped out with another door to get it to work (not part of service we paid for but he did it anyway).  Gus was quick, efficient had all of the parts and was very nice to work with.  I will use Mr. Rekey again thanks to Gus.  I would also recommend Mr. Rekey to anyone, great price, great service and speedy.

CJ was amazing, he was here promptly, and got our door open in no time. We were stressed for time because my friend had to go to work and my dog hadn't been out all day. CJ understood and had us on our way in less than 10 minutes.

Ernie is a great guy and has been in the game for 30 years and knows his stuff. He was wonderful to talk to and work with. He helped me make a custom key work for my car that was originally intended for a miata.

Locked my keys in the trunk. Tyrone was friendly on the phone and got to me quickly. Professional and friendly the whole time! Got the job done in record time!

This locksmith is the best! He created 2 keys to my car late in the evening at his home after he'd worked a long day.

I honestly felt his charge was so great that I tipped!

I gave him the key code over the phone. When I arrived the keys were waiting. He is so darn friendly too. I highly recommend. I will be giving his name to all my friends. Especially those with rental properties that have to be re-keyed all the time.

Connor came out and helped me today. I was locked out of my car AND lost the key.  He came and took care of business promptly.  He also told me about my AARP discount!  So helpful!  Highly recommended!

Good company.  Fast Service.  Reliable.  They did what I asked them to do.

ACME LOCKSMITH REALLY GETS "ZERO" STARS

Apparently from what I'm reading, Acme is the "go to" guys for the simple stuff like replacing keys - not the big stuff that they proclaim on their website to be the best at  like a safe in need of servicing. .....  I contacted this company thru a Rosie on the House recommendation to replace the lock on my safe. I gave the info on the size of the safe and the type of lock that needed replacing. A tech came out to have a look and didn't bring a lock with him... wasted day #1.  He said he'd be out on Monday around noon. When he didn't arrive, my husband called and the service said that we weren't on the schedule....wasted day #2.  When the tech came out a few days later, the lock he brought with him was inferior and did not fit and didn't really
want to modify it ..... wasted day #3.

How hard is it to bring a Sgt Greenleaf lock to the house and install it? I've replaced this lock before without any problems. As of this post, it's been over a week and we  have not heard from Acme  and quite frankly, after wasting my time on 3 different days.....  I don't want to.

****UPDATE*****:

12/27: Thank you for "quick" response after 5 weeks. The quality of the lock being replaced was hardly poor or inferior. Again, the 1st visit - he didn't bring a lock. The 2nd visit - well there wasn't one, because he didn't show up. The 3rd visit, he brought a lock that he wanted to "modify" and "shave down" to fit... the lock you brought was of poor quality, sir ... not the lock that was being replaced.

Called for information.  The person was warm, personable and professional.  They are mobile service only, no store front.  Which means they must be able to complete their job from their vehicle.  No problem!

Good old fashioned key shop!! Professional and experienced. I needed some keys made for my office. The local hardware stores had no idea how to handle a commercial door key. I called several "locksmiths" who are nothing more than a guy with a truck. All wanted well over $150 for a service call just to make a couple keys. Finally I found 35th Ave Key shop and was delighted to find a business that was open on a Sunday. I was out the door in 5 mins with 5 new keys for less than $25.00. This place is great no nonsense...Just great service!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this place, if you want it done right the first time come here. I took my weedeater due to not starting, bob had it checked out and fixed the same day at a fair price. And he also gave me a great deal on a used mower. So please support your local mom and pops businesses.

Called this outfit at 8:30 a.m. on a Thursday w/key stuck in my ignition.

Guy showed up in ~an hour. First, he told me he thought he could fix it in 20 minutes & would cost me $310... um, wow.

I agreed because they had me by the balls.

After about 40 min, the locksmith said that the ignition cylinder would need replaced, that he was going to go get one "at the company warehouse, 5 minutes away".

He returned after an hour & said "Nobody has your part in stock. I went to O'Reileys, Auto zone, blah blah blah..."
Company warehouse my a$$...

So he tells me that it's only available at Honda, it's much more expensive & my bill will jump to $475. I tell him to forget it, I'll have it towed somewhere & the price magically dropped to $330.

I PAY HIM THE $330 CASH, & off he goes to Honda around noon. He returns at dinner time only to inform me that he has the wrong part, it won't fit & Honda is closed until tomorrow morning at "10 or 11".

So, it's now Friday morning. I'm out $330 & I don't hear from anyone before NOON when I FINALLY CALL THEM.
Jerk around, jerk around, put off.
I call again at 1:30 & still dont have a solid commitment.

Presumably this will still get fixed today. Assuming so, I would never, ever call this company again & I emphatically DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

If zero stars was an option, it would be appropriate. They did nothing right.

Unless you love being jerked around, put off, lied to & overcharged. In which case, you're going to love A1 locksmith in Phoenix.
