I was looking to make a spare key of an existing car key I had in my possession (flip key with multiple buttons). I called the office number, who said a technician would give me a call within 10 minutes for a quote. After being quoted, I called around dealerships, Ace Hardware, other car key companies, and none could complete it as quickly nor at a lower price.
The technician (Tom) came out to me, and made the key within 15 minutes. You have the option to meet them, and they will waive the $35 service fee. Total time from calling the office to key completion was little less than an hour on a Friday afternoon (factoring in my calls to match their price). Professional, affordable, and efficient!
Overall, had a very positive experience with my situation. Situations/experience may be different where the key is lost, or you are locked out of your car.

Worst company ever. Couldn't get my name right. Wouldn't answer questions. Kept asking if I was an owner or renter. Could not answer a simple question of what types of keys they offer. Unbelievable ignorance.

Nonexistent customer service. I called them last Sunday to schedule an appointment to have a new lock set installed on my front door. They scheduled me for the following day from 12-2. I took a half day off work to make sure I'd be home, and no one showed up or called me. I called them at 4 PM and was told, "it looks like the tech forgot to call you. I'll have him call you back now." Needless to say, no one ever called back or showed up to do the work. I was completely blown off by this company, with no explanation.

I wasn't able to get into my car due to a broken door handle malfunction (and the passenger door already had its own issues). It was early in the morning just after Christmas and I was frantic! I called the first result on Google because it said it serviced Chandler -- THANK GOD IT WAS DIAMONDBACK LOCK AND KEY! The man who answered the phone introduced himself and thoroughly explained the process. It took less than 10 minutes to hear from my assigned technician, who arrived in great time!!!!!!! Alexander was kind, explained what he was doing, and in no way made me feel stupid for my car troubles. I felt like I was paying a GREAT price for GREAT service. 5 stars and then some! Excellent! Needed several emergency keys cut and made a late call. Was able to book an appointment early the next day at their brick & mortar store in Chandler. Ian the tech was very informative, professional, and able to answer any questions I had. All the new keys came out great. Their prices are competitive plus a 6month warranty on their programmed key fobs as well. The business even reached out twice to make sure I had my correct appointment set. Very difficult to work with this company. Phone number provided is to a dispatcher named Belle, who speaks poor English. I am not sure if the issue is her poor comprehension of English that is making scheduling a locksmith difficult. I have called twice for confirming the appointment but she just keeps telling me to keep the line open. No name of technician or ETA provided.

This was the first time we've locked ourselves out of the house and I'm so glad we called the professionals at Diamondback! A friendly operator helped me on the phone and connected me to a technician who contacted me within minutes. From the start when I called to the finish when I walked back into the house, our lockout took about 20 minutes to complete.

So very disappointed in this company!! It has been almost 2 months now and nothing has been done to resolve the issue with my key fob. I noticed within a week that something was wrong with the remote. When trying to lock or unlock my doors it would take about 2-3 clicks before it would work. As a matter of fact the day they made my key they were having problems with it and had to re program the key. Days went by and it only got worse, my panic alert suddenly started to go off with no reason, I contacted their office and spoke with Dave. He was very nice and scheduled for a technician to come out and look at my issue. Never got a call from the technician. I called Dave the next day and accused him of that I didn't receive a call from the tech. I was not able to schedule for a technician to come out due to work schedule. Finally I had some time soo I called the office and once again never got a call from a technician. Waited all day and nothing! I called the office the next day in the morning and finally received a call from a tech. Lol the technician didn't get to my place until 9-930 at night. WOW!! This is where it gets ridiculous! I told the tech right from the beginning what the issue was. WHY DID THIS GUY GO TO MY CAR AND PUT THE KEYS IN THE IGNITION LOOKED AT ME AND SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS AND SAID "THERE IS NOTHING WRONG!" I looked at this guy thinking "is he serious?" It was obvious that he DID NOT LISTEN TO ME! this really upset me! Long story short I explained and showed him the issue.. of course the issue happened about 2 -3 times while he was there. He said he had to call the office to see what he could do for me. Basically he said there was nothing he could do since my key was working and turned my car on. I was very upset and told him I would call the manager in the morning.- I am beyond feeling angry and disappointed. I selected this company out of many other lock and key companies because of the great reviews. I spent almost $300 on a key fob that does half the job it's suppose to do! Today was the final straw, waited all day for the manger to meet up with my mechanic to get this issue resolved, no call no text NOTHING!! Dear God how hard is it to fix a key or reprogram a remote just to satisfy a customer that has been PATIENTLY WAITING?? Social media will know this company not as a good company but a
very unreliable company that knows nothing about doing the right thing!!
In my experience with this company Don't get these guys until you get the full cost of coming out to estimate charges, they charge a service call of $35 just to come out, however, I called first and asked if there's a estimate charge he replied NO, afterwards I called back after paying up I questioned the service call he says it's not on the recording but it was, I used the words "estimate" instead if "service call" so I got ripped off! Call around there's other qualified locksmiths for half of what I ended up paying $100 just for one door rekey. It was like an auction at my front door the lock guy started at $150 I told him no I can get someone else for half that to rekey. But after I paid $100 for the one door rekey and two keys I caught the "service call" added for $35. Btw he took a very long time to make two keys. Look elsewhere for rekeying it's safer.
Chris was friendly and informative on the phone and was able to get an appointment scheduled fast. Service was prompt and friendly and Chris did a great job rekeying our home. Would definitely recommend!
I called and they got back to me within minutes. Friendly staff. Helped me with cutting g key amd programming fob for 2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I LOVED THE SERVICE. Reasonably priced and cheaper then dealer.

I was holding an Open House in Chandler when I found myself in a difficult situation. The front door key to the unit I was in got stuck in the door. It would lock and unlock, but was stuck.

Customer service horrible! Came late, Looking Unprofessional, Was told a set price on the phone then when the Lock and Key employee came he told me a different price! Then he needed assistance opening the door , cant even do their job right. Would not recommend!!!!!!
I ordered a locksmith through Diamondback Locksmith. They ended up sending me these guys. The prices Diamondback quoted me were much different then the price Locksmith Guru charged.
They initially charged me $180 for a door that took 2 min to open. I was not told ahead of time what the price would be. They said the price depends on how complex the lock was... Initially Diamondback estimates it would be around $80.
Aside from price, I was told that the locksmith could be at my house in 20 min. It took them about 1.5 hours which included me calling back and following up 3-4 times as I was in a time sensitive situation. This was a mix up on Diamondbacks end.
Long story short, I ended up reaching out to their management for what I believed was an excessive charge. After several weeks they credited me back almost half back, which I think was fair and an appropriate way to handle it. Giving a much higher review than normal due to managements willingness to make it right.
Great company and great set by Jacob! Best quote I got after calling a couple places. Jacob not only called 30 min out but he also arrived on time and had a pleasant demeanor. The job was quick and done in no time. If you want the best service with the best prices, call Diamondback Lock & Key. I'll be giving there contact to my realtor so she can recommend them in the future!!

The customer service was great i even spoke with the owner himself. They are very quick! When i originally called for a quote they could be out to rekey my house as soon as an hour but i instead set up an appointment. The service tech called 40 mins prior to the appointment to let me know he was on his way. I'm knocking one star off as i wasn't aware there is labor costs on top of the quote i was given which only included the parts and the fee to have the service technician come out, i wish i would have been made aware of the full cost upfront.

This place is great! I needed a few keys made during covid. These guys were open and able to take care of it no problem, highly recommend!
Unaccountable
I would seriously advise against using this service. When I had problem with key made by Nick he suggested that the key wouldn't work to open the trunk because I was standing too close to the vehicle. When it wouldn't work again I requested a call and instead he appeared at my home but I hadn't been at home ......which is why I requested he call. After that I never heard back from he or the manager and the key still doesn't work two months later. It doesn't open the trunk, the doors nor does it start the car (I have a keyless ignition).
Sure he's pleasant. I would too if I got $400 for an inferior product I was probably paying less than half of what I charged. A huge mark up would make me happy too especially if I didn't have to be accountable for its usefulness.
Jacob helped fix a door in our new house. I called and he was here in less that 20 minutes and got the job done in 5. I'm super impressed and will definitely call Diamondback again for any future needs.

These guys were great and very flexible to work with my changing schedule. They came out and programmed the fob & cut the 2nd key my new driving aged son lost. They are very friendly and service oriented. Hopefully we don't need to replace a lost key again, but I'll definitely call Diamondback if we have any locksmith needs. Thanks guys!!!

Had a potential security breach so I called Diamondback looking for rekeying of all 5 of our locks whenever they could get to it and 'POOF' 30 minutes later Michael arrived, went to work and completed the project most riki-tik. Quick work, polite and competitively priced
Called these guys on a Friday they were able to make an appointment on Saturday. Even offered a later appointment thay day but I could not accept. I showed up late but Jacob was unphased. He keyed the whole house in less than 2 hours (About 13 locks). Very professional and went above and beyond. Seemed very fair too and showed me options if I needed them. I would definitely use them again.

Locked both of my keys in my car, so I thought, hmm, who is an awesome locksmith I have heard of.. Diamondbacks! They were fast, convenient, and handsome! I should lock my keys in my car more often!
I called diamondback because I got locked out of my jaguar x-type. The battery died in the remote and I couldn't unlock the car. They came out quickly, unlocked the car, replaced the battery and reprogrammed the remote. Awesome service! Quick and professional! Highly recommend!!

Jack was wonderful! After having any exhausting experience with another locksmith, I was so impressed with Diamondback's responsiveness. When you spend your entire day making sure a horrible tenant is completely out of your residence, your attitude may not be at its best. Add to that a call from a locksmith who at 9:30a set the appt for 4:30p then proceeded to call you at 5pm (after you call and ask their ETA) stating that they made a mistake and thought the address was in Glendale (the house is in Queen Creek) and that we could reschedule the following day in a nonchalant tone. I drove all the way from Ahwatukee by the way. Well, that was ME yesterday. I have to say however, after receiving the call from CJ, everything changed. He was ON TIME, which is a very big deal for me and he was very knowledgeable in his craft. He completed the job quite efficiently, all while keeping a huge smile on his face despite my disposition. When I need a locksmith in the future, I will definitely request CJ personally. He did a excellent Job and I truly appreciated his patience

I just moved to Chander and used Diamond Lock add Key to rekey our new home. They were spot on in committing to an exact appointment time, which was important as we had several other service folks meeting us at the house that day. Tom, the technician, was informative, friendly and spent time with us checking and rechecking that each lock and key worked before he left - I would use them for any future lock-key needs.
I only write reviews for exceptional service or extremely poor service. Unfortunately, this is the latter. After calling and requesting a duplicate key for my 2003 Honda CRV in late March, I was told they were out of stock and would have it in within a week. I was told I would be called when it came in. No one called, so I called back. My order had been lost by the post office, so they said they would call me back as soon as it arrived. A week passed, no one called. I called back and was told they were still dealing with the issue. I asked to speak to the manager to get a better understanding of the timeline. He promised me he would resolve the issue and call back in a week. No one called, so I called back. Still no resolution. This went on for 2 months! During this time, no one ever called to give me an update. I called back every week and was told the same thing, "We will call you". This is professionalism and business 101 that unfortunately this company is failing at. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
These guys are a rip-off. I was quoted $230 on the phone to replace a lost set of car keys. When they came out, they tried to charge $600. I explained that this was not what I was quoted: "you were told additional charges may apply." Didn't think additional charges would total $370. I sent them away and called another company that did it for $220. Don't use them!
I can't really comment on their lock service but I can promote their customer service. I was stuck at lunchtime in a parking lot with a dead battery. A couple of Diamondback employees gave me a jump and refused my offer to buy them lunch. They have integrity and you can bet that I will be calling Diamondback if I need a lock and key service. Thanks again! You saved my day.
