Best Businesses in Phoenix, AZ
I waited about a week after my install to post just to make sure there were no flaws or oddities with the work . Good News! Everything is great. Here's what you need to know about Royal.
-----------------
PROFESSIONALISM:
1. Vinny is great, he makes you feel like you're friends/family. You can really tell he cares about his business and understands that he's only successful if his customers are happy. He actually called me from the hospital the morning after his sons where born (day of the Job) to let me know he wouldn't be able to be there in person (his crew showed up on time) but he would be stopping in to make sure everything was going well, that's dedication.
------------------
WORK:
2. His guys show up on time, respect your home and work hard and fast. They are respectful and true pros.
-After the 2nd day my wife discovered one board that was mal-formed and sticking up ever so slightly in the middle of the floor. I brought it to Adrian's attention and he quickly fixed it even though it meant pulling the trim off again and taking up 50 sqft. of flooring to get to that one goofy board. No groaning, moaning or trying to make excuses, he simply said "No Problem sir, I will fix it" and he did.
3. Adrian is a true artist with the precise cuts and detailed work he does.
4. Their work is top notch.
-----------------
PRICE:
5. I got two quotes on the job and Vinny came in roughly 800 below the original quote. While that's impressive it's even more impressive when considering we changed the scope of the job by adding 150 sqft. of tile demo and additional flooring installation for Vinny's quote. Some contractors will say you have to pay for quality and they charge top-dollar. I can tell you that you will get top quality work from these guys for a fair medium price.
-----------------
I highly recommend Vinny and his guys to anyone.
NOTE: When working with any contractor make sure you get in writing anything that will be expected of you for the job. I had a small misunderstanding with a piece of the job (stair risers) and while Vinny apologized, the misunderstanding was totally on my end. Everything worked out but, this is a must to make sure your job goes smooth and your expectations are correct.

I hired Barry to assist with a major project for my employer, U-Haul International Inc. There is not enough positive feedback that I can provide regarding Barry's professionalism and Barry's work. Barry did a fantastic job and only uses quality products. I will continue to refer Barry and RNB Flooring on a regular basis. If you need flooring for your home or business, I highly recommend that you contact Barry at RNB Flooring. As Barry constantly states, "Friends don't let friends have ugly floors!"

Yelper friends, while my new home was being built I could not stand the standard floor material provided by the builder and they made it financially impossible to upgrade utilizing their services. With that said, Uptight Flooring in Avondale not only solved the problem but earned a customer for life.
Upon my first visit, staff at Uptight treated me like a friend. I can not say enough about the friendly staff. From Sarah and Frank in the office to Eddie in the field, they were all great people to work with and never missed a beat in providing great customer service.
Uptight was given the responsibility of demoing the floor the builder forced me to put in. Their pricing for this task was good and the work was great. As dusty as this project can be, they covered everything and kept the project as clean as possible. As for laying the amazing new floors, the crew did exceptional work. Every visitor who knows anything about flooring install makes comments about the quality of work and how good the floors look.
If I have not expressed it enough, Uptight Flooring is awesome and I would recommend them to all and already have. They have a huge selection of flooring options at every price point. Their labor costs are inline with other installers, but you are getting the best service in the field.
If you are looking at making a significant financial commitment to flooring and like me, you want to make sure you are making a good decision, Uptight Flooring is the way to go.
Thanks to everyone at Uptight for making me look like a genius in selecting your company for my flooring needs.

Sean is a knowledgeable, friendly, and very experienced floor installer. Whereas sitting in front of the Home depot salesperson was exhausting and i felt like i was being told everything i was going to have to SPEND on, calling Sean was a welcome relief. He was telling me everything I could SAVE on and educating me much more at the same time. But don't get me wrong, the only corners he cuts are the floors themselves. In fact i got much better quality flooring and a better clearly experienced install, yet saved hundreds of dollars overall.
In the end the install (laminate) was flawless, and he estimated the overage perfectly (much less than HD quoted), again saving me some serious money. One more point here: he is someone you can trust in your house. i left him a key to do the work since I was going to be out of town during the install, and had no qualms about doing so.
I will be hiring him again once i save up to do the next part of the house.

ER GROUT AND TILE exceeded our expectations! Such a positive attitude and is extremely detail-oriented. Emil went beyond the call of duty by seeking out other responsibilities. As well as keeping us informed of all the steps throughout their work. They are the best company to work with above all other companies in our past.
They worked well under pressure because my husband and I were needing our grout done immediately!
Definitely a company who takes pride in their work!
Emil is an active listener, manages time efficiently, demonstrates professionalism, and is always conscientious about the quality of his work.
Although Emil works well independently, he benefits even more from the team and business skills he has built :D
We highly recommend!!!!!!

We had out new travertine tiles cleaned and polished by Scottsdale Travertine Polish. From the start Shannon and Wayne communicated well on our questions and requirements as this was our first experience with Travertine tiles. They did a great job with the cleaning and polishing, and exceed our expectations. We are extremely happy with how our project turned out. We used medium gloss and the tiles look fantastic. We would have no hesitation going back to them for future maintenance polishes.

Dale came out with some samples and did the measurements. He gave me a quote and explained every detail about what was included in the price. Very professional and very knowledgeable. Jake and the installers did a superb job. Took less than three days to tear out the carpet and install over 1,000 square feet of beautiful laminate. The laminate looks great and goes well with my existing tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. Great job!

We purchased tile and carpet from Floor Depot. Travis and his staff were very helpful in selecting the right product for us. Even better, the installers that he recommended did excellent work in a timely fashion. Price, service and quality were excellent!

This place is absolutely amazing. I had a terrible experience with Lowe's and Home Depot when looking to renovate my kitchen. I did some shopping around at other local countertop places but Veny was simply the best. Veny helped us out the entire way and was there for EVERY STEP of the process, sharing his expertise but never pressuring a sale. He shows up on the job site to make sure things are running smoothly and his employees are top notch people. We even asked if he could install a backsplash and new flooring for our kitchen as well even though we had already bought the materials and he graciously agreed. If you're looking for ANY COUNTERTOP or home remodeling needs, do yourself a favor and come here FIRST, these guys are the Real Deal.

I was so lucky to find Russ through Yelp. I tried reaching out to few other Handyman for quotes but did not hear back from some and others over priced. Does not sound like much but to me it was something important that needed to be done same day, chirping smoke detectors at home. They were driving me crazy. Thank God that I was so gifted that he responded so quickly with a reasonable estimate AND available to come out the same day!! He arrived on-time, professional, friendly and can do attitude with confidence. He was able to answer my questions, confirmed estimate and immediately got started. Within no time he had all 5 smoke detectors replaced, they look great and no more chirping! OMG... Russ is an amazing hard worker, very brilliant and fully equipped for any job. Definitely from here on out, he will be my go to Handyman, without a doubt.!!! As well, I will be recommending him to all of my family, friends and co-workers!! Thank you again Russ, keep up the great work that you do!!!

***UPDATE****
Seven weeks after the remodel, Maxum did the right thing and replaced the granite with the cracked countertop with the exact granite that was installed. I am now satisfied.
We had our master bathroom remodeled. One week after completion of bathroom remodel, we noticed the granite countertop was cracked the entire width. They sent someone out to repair, but we weren't satisfied with how it looked as it was still very noticeable. They agreed to replace the counter but said they would not replace with the same granite as the only piece available was larger and more expensive. We thought that would be okay. I received an email a few days later stating "the guys have found a piece to match what you have. They are going to pick it up and start fabrication again." I waited 2 weeks before contacting again to see where we were with progress. I received a call later that day and was told they wanted me to look at the granite to make sure I was satisfied. Apparently the piece was not in fabrication as I was told. Won't go into details regarding the meeting not happening as scheduled. We saw the slab, and it was darker, and thinner than our original granite. At first we said okay. And when asked when we could expect it to be done, we were not given a clear answer. But as my husband and I thought about it, we contacted them and canceled the replacement, as we did not think we would be happy with the replacement and felt that since the crack was discovered so soon after completion, it should have been replaced with the same granite we had chosen, and we would just have to live with the crack.
Our big mistake was handing over the final payment before looking over everything with a fine tooth comb. This was our first remodel. It took three weeks and they finished late on the final day. We were all tired. But it seems once that final payment was made, we no longer mattered and they were pretty much done with us and on to the next project.

No show, no call and when called, indicated he arranged an hour window to arrive, which is not true. This appointment was made with him not through a service or other staff. Total disregard for your time and your work schedule and with something as simple as arriving on time for a meeting in which he set the time, take note people.
