I worked with Eric a couple of months ago to put roofing over my thatched roof patio. I was probably a pain in the ass customer for Eric as I was woefully unprepared and didn't have the material purchased until he showed up to do the job. Eric wasn't rude with me, even though he had every right to be!
I was on my lunch break so I left my credit card number with the guys at Home Depot and trusted Eric to only buy as much as he needed. He bought the material, returned what he didn't need, and had the roof in top-shape within just a few hours.
It's been a couple months and everything is holding together and doesn't look like it's going anywhere.
The quote we got was more than fair and the quality of his work speaks for itself. I've had run ins with shady contractors and handymen throughout the years, and Eric is a standup example of what you need when it comes to someone you can trust with home improvement.

Customer service during sale ok, but they made up for it during install. My job was 11x14.  With carpet removal and install all in the same day it took about 5 hours. We love our new floor !  Installer was prompt and cleaned up the area before he left. We are very satisfied with the final job. Thanks Enmar.

AZ Home Floors did everything as advertised! Nick was very helpful in describing the process and answering over a dozen questions. Victoria (office sales and customer service) was quite thorough, helpful and very polite. MaryAnn and her crew were focused and efficient. No dust, complete removal of tile and sanding of concrete, and completely clean when they departed.

The quote was accurate and the work was done in less time than anticipated. I was concerned about how much vibration would result, and packed everything off the walls. In hindsight I probably did not need to do this as the vibration was minimal. Still, doing so relieved me of any worry.

I did not think the sound was extremely loud. I sat on the patio and could hear it; earplugs were not needed outside. Earplugs or other protection would be appropriate if you were to stay inside while the work was done. That was made very clear during the quote process and the company would supply earplugs as needed.

I've recommended to several friends as in 'if you ever want to do this, AZ Floor Removal is the one to use'. I know of at least one person who has done so. She is extremely particular and very satisfied.

LOVE the fact they are licensed and bonded. They explain in detail the customer responsibilities. This company is very professional and does not try to hide extra costs.

Other companies also said 'you probably don't need to put up a barrier'. AZ Home Floors said 'absolutely no dust barrier is needed' and they were 100% correct.

Some companies said 'we are all booked' as soon as I asked about license/bond status. Very unusual that the bookings came in so quickly after that question.

Jeremy and his team have fixed plumbing, electrical and miscellaneous items for us. Each time they provided excellent and reasonable service. We continue to use them when ever a problem arises.

We found Kennedy tile through Angie's list! And best thing we did! We had a few people come out before they did and out of all of them they were the best priced!!! They started work on our house very soon after our in home consultation. The whole process was very fast and they did an AMAZING WORK!!! the crew was very nice and organized and kept the house clean from the work area. I ended up working with Warren at Removal Tech on accident. I was supposed to have a Craigslist company come and remove my tenant-damaged wood floors. When they came, they did a small section and left all the glue. Then they said it would cost more to do what I'd asked them at the outset - wood gone, clean floor - and that it would take 3 days. I don't like being baited and switched so they left. Then I found Removal Tech on Yelp. They came that day and got what I needed done THAT AFTERNOON at a fair price. I hope I don't have any more water losses, but if I do, I'm going here!

We just moved here to Prescott Valley from Massachusetts and don't know anyone. Using Yelp I found Mario of Navas Remodeling. I needed a very old kitchen sink replaced and Mario did the job for us. He gave us a fair price and he did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the result and we will contact Navas Remodeling for future work at our new home. Thank you Mario.

We had Doug come out to do a few jobs at our house before we put it on the market. First off, I want to say how  well he pays attention to details around the house. He's got a great eye for design and is extremely talented when it comes to precision cuts on floor moulding, wood work, tile work and painting. Additionally, he went above and beyond, adjusting door jams and tightening screws as he noticed them when doing work around the house. He hung a new door for us and it looks better than I could imagine. Because he did such a great job, we hired him to do another job and we were equally impressed. He is friendly, professional and a really hard working guy. We will use him again in the future!

Our Kitchen Remodel was a long process, but the new custom cabinets, counter tops, electrical, drywall, plumbing, appliances, and painting process were finally completed.
The Backsplash, over the cooktop and counter, was the last step.
We contacted several installers from lists provided by the tile stores.
We received no return calls.
Finally, we decided to try Yelp. Our Yelp search for Backsplash installers listed Golden Bear Contracting.
We called Michael, the owner of Golden Bear Contracting.
He answered our call and said he could come out that afternoon and give us a quote.
We wanted to show Michael the tile we had selected and also the Mosaic we had purchased to go over the cooktop.
The Mosaic contained thousands of really small tiles, and we wanted to be sure Michael could install it.
He answered all of our questions about installing the Mosaic and gave us a few suggestions on outlining the Mosaic with darker "Pencil" tiles.
We decided on the spot that Michael was the contractor to do our installation.
He gave us a date about two-weeks out for the installation and we shook hands on the deal.
Michael arrived on the promised day at exactly 8am and got right to work.
The job was finished, as promised, around noon the next day.
Everything, including the mosaic, went perfectly.
The grouting and the tile sealing went smoothly and the finished product looks absolutely great.
His cleanup was spotless and we couldn't be more pleased with the results.
We'll be remodeling our master bathroom next and we had Michael look at the bathroom and make suggestions.
Turns out that he actually specializes in Bathroom remodels.
We were very impressed with our backsplash and also with his suggestions on the bathroom remodel.
We've decided to call Michael when we're ready to tackle the bathroom.
He is very professional, courteous, punctual and, when it comes to tile, he's Great.

Jean has done several project for us including poo repair, pavers installation, faux grass installation, and concrete repair. Jean does excellent work. He listens to the needs that you have and then offers a variety of solutions to meet those needs. His prices are competitive and the quality is very high. I highly recommend home for all home improvement needs.

We had our garage floor done and are so impressed with the friendly and professional service. Turned out beautiful! Joey had a great solution to safely show that there was a step down when walking into the garage from our house. I actually stumbled on Phoenix Hardwood while looking for options to deal with an aged and very badly heaved living room slab, which was complicating a flooring install I had been trying to line up. Other contractors had told me we'd need at least 6 to 10 hours of grinding to get anywhere, and being the center of my house, that just wasn't an viable option.

Mark came out to take a look, and gave me some additional options that did not require nearly as much grinding. He also had some ideas to help mitigate and contain the dust that would be generated, which other folks had not bothered to try and work with me on. While I only needed options for this one room, Mark gave me a proposal for doing the entire flooring job (7 rooms in total, over 1400 square feet). Prices were a bit higher than the other outfits I had talked to, but Mark's company specializes in hardwood floors and I liked his attitude and the willingness to work with me on the dust and grinding concerns, not to mention his straightforward honesty.

While we had a few slight hiccups at the very outset, the installation moved ahead at a very quick pace and did not relent until we wrapped up exactly seven days later. We ran into a number of issues, primarily with the 30 year old slab having settled or cracked (or both) in most of the rooms, but Dan and Will, who did the install, were able to surmount them all without missing a beat. These guys have known each other for eight years and worked together more than half that time, and it absolutely shows when you watch how well they function as a team. They work quickly and efficiently and are absolute masters of their craft. I cannot say enough good things about the quality of the job they did or the speed with which they knocked it out.

Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I don't pull punches and I do not hesitate to call out shenanigans. In this case, I really have nothing but good things to say about the folks at Phoenix Hardwood. These guys knocked it out of the park and exceeded my expectations in every regard. My wife and I are thrilled with how the floors turned out, and our only regret is that we did not hire them sooner. I would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking to get hardwood floor installed, because I simply cannot imagine anyone doing a better job.

Encore Floors did an exceptional job for us! From help in the showroom, to the home visit discussing the scope of work, and finally to the install and follow up, the job was perfect. Rich is great at customer service, and communicated well throughout the process. The carpet shipped when he said it would, the installers were on time (and Rich called ahead to let us know they were on the way) and Rich stopped by after the work was complete to ensure we were satisfied. The price was fair and the whole job from our visit in the showroom to a finished product took only 8 days! Makes me wish we had more floors for him to do! We highly recommend this company!
