Floor Coverings International Flooring Contractor
We are so happy with our new floors in our large assembly hall at Valley Christian! We have heard of the work Floor Coverings has done in residential homes, and we are so pleased to see such great work at our school in such a large space! The flooring completely transformed this 3,500 square foot space, even more so than the paint and different things we did on the walls. Deb was super responsive, and they even finished the job a day before she originally quoted. Would absolutely work with Deb and Floor Coverings of Chandler again!

Custom Floor Covering Flooring Contractor
We recently had all our floors redone with tile and carpeting and the experience was above our expectations.  We had really good customer service and assistance in choices for our tile and carpet.  We needed it completed before Thanksgiving and they worked through the weekend to get the job done in time.  It all turned out really nice and I was so impressed at the job they did cleaning every surface and all the shelves.  I expected to have to do some myself to get ready for the holiday but they did an excellent job and I was ready to start cooking and have company!

Global Prevention Services Flooring Contractor
Contacted them based on a Yelp recommendation. Set up an appointment for them to come out and give an estimate to put my bathroom back together after a plumbing issue. They came out took some pictures and measurements and said I would get a quote the following week.  It's been two weeks and no contact. Not super helpful when you are trying to get a project completed

Bare Renovation Flooring Contractor
We hired Josh and team to install flooring to match our main areas and extend into the bedrooms.  In our view the price was fair, and the work done was on time and executed very well.  It is fairly rare that a contractor shows up on time, stays on budget and finishes on time.  In our case the work was done faster than we anticipated, which is a great bonus.

We are glad we used Bare Renovation.

Prevail Concrete & Coatings Flooring Contractor
We didn't have a big project, but Dave and his team treated us like we did.  They were communicative, on time, honest, reliable, and reasonably priced.
I highly recommend Prevail Concrete and we will be working with them again once we start our front yard project.
Thank you Dave and team!

Shiloh Floors Flooring Contractor
We did our tile work with them before we moved into this house. We found the tile we liked at AZ Tile, and they negotiated a better price for us and purchased it, transported to the site for us for no additional charge.

We measured 1700 Sq Ft and they completed the job in about 5 days. They started it and finished it with no break in schedule and the quality of work was neat.

The owner, Lee gave us some design ideas which ended up working out perfect for our almost white tile, merge with the existing tile in the house seamlessly. Saved us a ton on Teardown and additional tile.

Cabinets To Go Flooring Contractor
I went in to the Camelback location twice and did NOT get approached with a friendly smile or an offer to help. Two guys and no customers in the store. This is clearly a leadership mistake, if you want sales than approach your potential  customers!

They need to scrap ALL employees and get people that actually want to make money. Their approach to business is all wrong. Don't waste your time.

AZ Discount Flooring Flooring Contractor
I just finished an extensive remodel of our house.  AZ Discount Flooring did all the tile and shower demo and then they also installed a new tile shower, tub wall, tile floors, bathroom & kitchen backsplash, carpet in bedrooms, and wooden baseboards throughout the house.  They also cleaned and sealed all the tile afterward.

It turned out beautifully.  I am extremely happy with the final product.

Pros:
AZ Discount Flooring had the very lowest priced travertine I could find ANYWHERE.  I did extensive research and their price ($1.99/sq ft for 24X24 travertine) could not be beat.  Their install price at $2/sq ft and $1/sq ft to clean and seal was also quite reasonable.  I had three different installers quote me anywhere from $3/sq ft all the way to $8/sq ft to install travertine.

The quality of the materials is excellent.  I absolutely love my floor tiles.  They are beautiful.  The glass tile and backsplash materials and the wooden baseboards are also very nice.

The quality of work performed was also good.   My floors are all even and the grout lines are 1/16 and look fabulous.

At the end of the project we had a surplus of tile and the owner, Marie, took the surplus and gave us a refund--keeping us below budget.

Cons:
The store seems to do alot of business with contractors and sub-contractors.  Because of this, it is difficult for a layperson (like myself) to schedule and communicate plans.  Do some research on what you want before you go in and make sure you are prepared with your measurements and exact list of what you want.

Different crews do each part of the job.  I had a different crew for my demo, tiling, carpeting and baseboards.  This can be confusing as some parts of the job (like who re-installs the toilets or who demos the baseboards) could be performed by many of the crews.  Make sure you nail down all of these details to avoid confusion.

The project took about 2 weeks longer to complete than originally intended.  This was mostly due to a 1-2 person tile crew.  They did an excellent job but probably needed more help.

Bottom line is that you get wonderful quality for a very low price.  The trade-off is that you have to be the one who is on top of the project and be organized because this place is crazy busy.  If you are looking for alot of hand holding and quick return calls, this is not your place.  If you are looking for the best deal possible and you are patient and willing to do some work--contact AZ Discount Flooring.

Arizona Floors & More Flooring Contractor
After obtaining several estimates, I hired Arizona Floors to redo my kitchen/entry/laundry.  They were by far the most responsive, responding quickly to my inquiry and showing up when they promised.  They came in about $800 less than other vendors, and included tearing off and disposing of old flooring.  Their installation crew was a couple hours late, and I had a hard time getting in touch with anyone.  But when they did arrive, they did quick and quality work.  When I am ready to do carpeting, Arizona Floors will get my first call.

Pelleco Home Design Flooring Contractor
I'm posting this on Yelp because all the reviews I read were 5 stars.  My experience was NOT 5 star though the finished cabinets and countertops are very acceptable.

The first time I was in the showroom Sam was on the phone with someone talking about a problem with a cabinet.  Sam told the customer that he'd have a replacement piece out to him before noon.  That conversation impressed me and so we decided to use Pelleco to replace kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and countertops in a complete home remodel.  Sam made suggestions about countertop colors which were spot on and look great.  The installed products seem now to be fine, but it took 4 weeks from the time that a contractor (not Pelleco installer) showed up to begin the install until the cabinets were complete and correct.

The vanities in 3 bathrooms had already been set when I arrived the morning of the install.  They were all installed in the wrong places - apparently there was no diagram for which cabinet bases went where and Sam had gone through with the contractor and said put that vanity here and that vanity here so they all had to be pulled and the job started over.  The original statement I made about Sam taking care of problems was, in our case, a business model requiring that corrections be made over and over.  (When this kind of thing happens on any phase in a job it can have a cascading effect in that something else-like flooring surfaces, wall surfaces, etc.-will be damaged when "undoing" poor or incorrect work.)   When the kitchen cabinets were set the first installer mounted hardware with the cabinet doors closed so he managed to drill into one of the stiles of a cabinet so it had to be repaired and painted - a very rookie mistake   After all the cabinets were properly set then countertop installation began.  The countertops in the bathrooms were beautifully done and completed very quickly, but the kitchen installation was absolutely wrong - there were seams in the quartz which ran "through" the sink.  So-o that countertop had to be pulled and a different fabricator showed up several days later and did a good job.

When the job was supposed to be complete rather than having someone go through the cabinet installation and be certain that everything was correct Sam always said "what's wrong" but he never wrote anything down.  Someone would show up to do work but have no instructions as to what they were supposed to be doing. .  An installation which was supposed to have taken 4 days ending up taking 4 weeks from beginning to satisfactory finish.   As I said the final product is most satisfactory, but the process and professionalism were miserable.  This is not a company I will ever recommend or use again.

Zona Restoration Flooring Contractor
Finding mold in multiple places in your home is stressful enough when you have elderly persons, an infant child, and pets that either live in, or frequent the home.

Searching for a mold remediation company was almost equally as stressful!!

I found Zona Restoration (ZR) on google and chose them based on their reviews.

I signed the contract. ZR tested and confirmed my home also had asbestos, (did I already mention I was stressed out?) and I requested them to begin my remediation project ASAP on an agreed date.

Chris handled my project. Although he mentioned the company is going through the busiest surge they have ever experienced, he never gave me excuses. He made things happen.

My project was completed. I had some concerns. Chris sent out Shelby within 15 minutes to look at the issue. Shelby understood my perfectly and I never had to repeat myself. He brought things to my attention that I had missed. I cannot say enough about how PROFESSIONAL, HONEST, and GENUINE he was! I was extremely impressed with this young man. (I am not easily impressed). Shelby had to come back to fix my issue the next day, and needless to say he did a wonderful job. He was fast, efficient, and thorough. THANK YOU Shelby.

The entire or process took 3 weeks. It wasn't supposed to be super long, but like I said, I had mold in multiple areas and additional issues. I knew my project was being treated as an emergency type situation.

During these three weeks, I called Chris. Every.Single.Day. On some days, I called him before 8am and up to 3 times a day!! (Yes, I have double checked this on my phone log history). Chris never ignored my phone calls. He answered every single time I called and followed up with me. He personally came out when the project was finished (his second time out to meet me) and addressed my initial concerns. I joked to him about being his most difficult customer. Of course he denied it, and remained professional, polite, and smiled whenever I saw him in person.

Eventually, the owner, Aaron came out for the project. My project was a unique case for ZR and was escalated to the top. They have never had a situation like mine happen and wanted to ensure all my issues and concerns were resolved. I was blown away when I met Aaron. He is a young professional that is years ahead of this time and has the type of integrity and wholesomeness even the Dalai Lama could learn from. Aaron went to great lengths to make sure I was okay. To say that Aaron and his team at ZR restoration "went above and beyond" would be a substantial understatement.

This company is based on some of the strongest morals I have ever encountered. They were so thorough and really came through on my project. This is the type of company we need to support to strengthen the fabric of our society. I truly felt they took care of me like family.

THANK YOU ZONA RESTORATION FOR SETTING AN EXAMPLE, HELPING ME, AND TAKING ON MY DIFFICULT PROJECT.

I will certainly be recommending them to everyone I know.

The Grout Doctor - Scottsdale Flooring Contractor
Horrible experience. Paid almost $700 to have 2 showers cleaned/sealed, couple of cracks repaired and caulking around kitchen sink redone.

After the "cleaning and sealing" was completed it looked like nothing had been done. Pictures posted in review are after the work was completed. The grout that was repaired was also a totally different color. As for the kitchen sink.... they placed gray grout over top of old clear caulking and lime scale build up.

Called back and talked to the person who came out and gave us a quote the first time and shared pictures and concerns. He came out the next day and looked at it and agreed it didn't look good. After he tried to re-clean the shower he said sometimes things just don't come clean and the grout color doesn't match because the other grout wouldn't come clean also that they cannot guarantee cleaning services..... none of which was explained during the quote or when we wrote a $700 check. He then said he would talk to the owner and see what else they could do for us.....

Called back the next day to tell us nothing could be done but color stain the grout lines in one shower for another $300......

Not sure what we paid $700 for or why we would pay another $300 for when neither shower looked like it was cleaned at all and the small amount of "repairs" done were sloppy and didn't even match. Wouldn't mind paying $700 for work if it was done correctly.

Would never recommend grout doctor to anyone ever again.

CTW Flooring Discounters Flooring Contractor
Despite what others say, please do your homework first.  This guy (Mike HRafi/Michael HRafi is a true con artist and will lie, cheat and steal.  I first purchased carpet from him and he did a good job.  I then hired him for another job and he outright took my money and said that the contractor he hired went bankrupt, only to find he never hired a contractor, and manufactured and altered receipts.  I am warning you, he is not a nice person.  He comes across as a caring, concerned and savvy business person; he is nothing short of a con artist.  You can call me if you like to get more information.  My number is 281.300.8282. I just don't want you to get scammed like he scammed me.
