Scottsdale Travertine Polish

These people are GREAT ... I had them out to my house here in Scottsdale on 10-14-2019 ... They did an incredible job on my travertine flooring and believe it or not, for HALF the price of the lowest quote I could get anywhere else.  I put off doing my floors for years, because I couldn't find anyone I could trust.  I will be having my floors done every 18 months now that I have found them ... Legit review ... 5 Stars, don't even bother with anyone else.

Read my other reviews ... I can be brutal if I get screwed.  I can also give 5 stars with the best of them when I luck into finding people that are great.  Rare in Arizona to find folks this good.

I was concerned when the white vinegar we used to flush our  tankless water heater started coming out of all the plumbing. but I didn't know how damaging  simple splashes would be to our new marble vanity top. oh my god!!! the etching was rapid and deep. I called several places and got very lengthy delays of weeks before they could even come look. I read that the sooner you act the better chance of a complete restore. when I called Scottsdale Travertine Polish, Mackenzie knew this and told me she could come out immediately. Wow. points already. she arrived, looked everything over, and said she could fix it.  needless to say I was skeptical because of all the other companies responses and how picky my wife is and how  angry she was over her "ruined" Carera Marble.

After about an hour, Mackenzie came out and asked me to take a look. I was speechless. It was breathtaking again. the shine was back, the etching was gone and I was instantly a believer in her and this company. I know the real test was when Kat got home. She walked in the bathroom later that day and said "what happened to the countertop?" she said "it looks better than when they delivered it". That was all it took. I'm a customer for life.

Mackenzie had not only fixed it but patiently educated me in the nuances of marble. how best to treat it, clean it, etc. she was professional, empathetic, caring and most important of all immediately available. I won't name names but the company I called in Scottsdale who kept saying "we have been doing this for 23 years..." but couldn't understand my immediate need, had ZERO empathy or care, and wouldn't validate my concerns... has NOTHING on Mackenzie and her family run business.

If  ANYONE wants to talk to someone who was dazzled by these results, she can give my number out at anytime. I NEVER write reviews because frankly no one earns them.  This company earned this and my deepest gratitude.

If you are no longer in love with your travertine floors call STP now! We install are floors 8 years ago and it showed. After repairing multiple cracks and filling holes Griffith and his crew brought out the shine in our floors that we had never seen and did not know was possible.

This is a well run family business.  Very professional, kind workers, and always attentive.  The floors look better than new when polished.  Spend your money here.

The best decision you can make! Scottsdale Travertine Polish has the best owners/employees; professional, courteous, and timely. MacKenzie, Griffith and Brian polished our floors like they were in their own house, they taped cabinets and appliances to off to avoid overspray, moved furniture with a smile, and paid meticulous attention to detail during the entire process. As for the floors....WOW!! We can't stop talking about how our floors look better than new, they brought out a shine that I would never believe was possible without seeing it first hand! We opted to have the grout hand painted to compliment the shine, despite not being planned MacKenzie made a few calls and flipped her schedule to accommodate us! Wow! I can't say enough good things about this company! I have polished travertine floors that were a mess, much of it my own fault from using the wrong cleaners and ending up with dull, ugly floors.
I contacted Scottsdale Travertine Polish and Mackenzie responded quickly and was able to set up an appointment to see my floors and give me a quote within a few days.
Not only was their price the best I received,but the results are amazing! It looks like a new floor! I had spill marks and traffic areas in the kitchen that now look brand new. The team was polite, knowledgeable and answered my many many questions.
I highly, highly recommended them, you will not be disappointed. I went from absolutely hating my floors to loving them!

What an awesome job these kids did today for me.
The parents used to run this service and they always did a great job.  But then, they turned it over to their kids.  OMG.  They run circles around their parents.  They patched, honed, polished my travertine and in 13 years of having it, it has never looked better.  I was very excited to come home. Fair price, on time, cleaned up and really cared.  Singing their praises and will hire them again for sure.  Best of luck to you kids!

Excellent job!  The staff came on time and fully prepared to work.  They masked up while working in the house.  Moved necessary furniture away and replaced when the job was done.  Both my husband and I were very impressed with the quality of work.  Travertine holes were filled and the floors cleaned and polished beautifully.  Highly recommend!

10/05/17:  Shannon and crew just completed 1500 sq.ft. of travertine tile flooring at my residence. For the past 12 years I have been searching for someone who could professionally clean and polish my floors correctly and I am blown away at how well they performed today!  Four person crew, versus two, deep cleaned instead of surface cleaned, and polished to a luster I have never seen before on my floors. Totally exceeded my expectations and I recommend them 100%.  Was not disappointed one bit.  

Competitively priced with my past cleaners as well.

This is a nice family run business that know what they are doing and did a great job!  A pleasure to do business with.

My wife and I recently purchased a new home (to us) which the previous owners had neglected to maintain the home. The travertine was dull, scratched, and even cracked in some areas.  I contacted Shannon (the owner) and she went the "extra mile" to help us out on the timeline to when we needed the floor taken care of. Thank you again Shannon for making this happen.

The end results? AMAZING! The difference between 12 year old neglected tile to what Shannon and her team were able to accomplish, seriously made me say "WOW!" when I walked in the door. I didn't think the floors could look so good. They were able to fill some of the cracks and smooth over some scratches. Some of the tile due to neglect will need to be replaced at some point.  

The team spent most of the day working on the floors... the pricing was competitive but the extra effort they put in to make the floors shine... priceless.

Overall... I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or refer them to others.

Our 20 year old travertine floors look BRAND NEW! I was so impressed with this company. Not only did they do a fantastic job, much better result than I ever imagined, they were so kind and professional.I tried a different company in the past, they were a lot cheaper but the floor didn't look any different- The grout still looked grungy, which Doesn't cut it when you go to sell your home. A different company I interviewed had a similar price, but the owner was kind of scammy and creepy. I'm so glad I went with Scottsdale Travertine polish/PV interiors. I'm writing this review because I like to help other women find awesome quality companies that are also friendly and safe and don't try to take advantage.

I am thrilled with how my floors turned out after Scottsdale travertine polish cleaned and sealed them. We have a very active house with 5 dogs and kids. This family owned biz did not disappoint. Wayne and his crew made sure all the furniture and carpets that could not be moved would be protected. They put protective coverings over everything that would come in contact with the machines. I had a lot of square footage of travertine tile and Shannon was able to measure all the big and little nooks and crannies so well. She knows her business!  I have had some many compliments on how nice the floors are now. It's a satin finish. I was able to schedule the floors based on my schedule which was awesome and I really wanted to work with a family owned business. I had an estimate from a big company and Scottsdale Travertine Polish came in with a bid with a much better affordable price. This company has my vote for anyone looking to get their floors, counter tops and showers cleaned and resealed

Love this company! My floors always look amazing when they are done and far exceed my expectations. They show up on time, work hard to get you the results you are looking for, and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

We had a problem with our travertine floor.  After taking 24 hours to return  They advertise 'Get a free quote on natural stone maintenance or repair' on their website.  That advertisement is totally FALSE!  I would never call this company again.

Our 19 year old travertine floors were very stained, particularly in the kitchen and traffic area and all my elbow grease did nothing to improve them! I really disliked the travertine but replacement was out of the question because of the huge square footage.

Shannon came out to look at my floors and she was cautious about how much of the embedded dirt would actually come out of the porous travertine and the grout and advised that she and her team would do everything they could to improve its appearance.

They got to work with scrubbing and extraction and when I saw the floors I was stunned and very pleased- they look amazing! Now they are a complement to my home's interior.

Shannon and team did an outstanding job on my floors, I had no idea they could have looked that beautiful all along!  I have 100% stone throughout the house. Her process and equipment used to clean, seal and buff is just top notch. I'm thrilled!  Very professional, no schedule hiccups, showed up and did exactly what she said they'd do, and I seriously couldn't be more pleased.  Another contractor referred me to her, I need to thank him too!

I am beyond impressed with how wonderful my travertine floors turned out after Shannon's team came out. I honestly didn't expect them to look BRAND NEW! They cleaned, polished and sealed about 1600 sq ft of travertine and even filled in cracks that we had here and there. The grout was an extremely dirty black in the kitchen and it is now returned to its original light grey color and matches the rest of the house. They did the home all in one day, and Shannon even sent me pics throughout the process. Very professional and reasonably priced too!

Our house is 20 years old, and it's been that long since the our travertine (limestone?) tiles and grout have been cleaned or polished, so it's been way overdue!  We met with three different vendors offering polishing services, and went with Scottsdale Travertine based on additional grout services they and price.  Duane and his crew of family members showed up on time Wednesday morning, and after he explained the game plan, they started work, first moving the heavier objects and taping carpets and appliances for protection, then completing the cleaning and polishing by Thursday noon (FYI, we have about 1,200 square feet of tile).  When they were done the tile shine had been completely restored, and the grout is now several shades lighter; it looks 100% better!  Duane also left us with information on how to best maintain our floor going forward.  All in all, this couldn't have gone better.  Thanks Duane, McKenzie and Andrew!

We had out new travertine tiles cleaned and polished by Scottsdale Travertine Polish. From the start Shannon and Wayne communicated well on our questions and requirements as this was our first experience with Travertine tiles. They did a great job with the cleaning and polishing, and exceed our expectations. We are extremely happy with how our project turned out. We used medium gloss and the tiles look fantastic. We would have no hesitation going back to them for future maintenance polishes.

Shannon, Wayne and team did an outstanding job on our travertine floors! We recently bought a home where the travertine floors had been neglected for a decade. They were dull, scratched, dirty, cracked and had a few holes/pits in them. We were ready to rip them out and start over, but Shannon came over and took a look. She promised to clean, polish, fill and seal to get them looking like new. Boy was she right. After their services, the floors looked immaculate! Everyone that comes in to our home comments on them. We are very happy that we spent a fraction of the cost to have STP come in and do their thing vs. spending $10K+ on new floors. Shannon's communication is upfront and timely. They showed up right on time and got the job done ahead of schedule. We will be recommending them to all family and friends. We have used Shannon and her team on our floors in 2 different homes.  We were equally as impressed with both jobs. In our main home they cleaned, repaired , polished and sealed our travertine. Our floors looked like palace floors, we couldn't believe the difference. In our condo, they cleaned up the tile and did an amazing job on our patio.  Quality and amazing work, delivered by professional, hard working and honest people.  Every employee we met was courteous and skilled. We have been using Scottsdale Travertine for the past 16 years. We wanted to compliment and recommend Scottsdale Travertine for the outstanding work they do on our floors, counters, and shower. Because of the level of professionalism Wayne and Shannon have exhibited and the quality of their work, we have recommended them to countless other family members, friends, and neighbors. Everyone has been amazed at their ability to take badly stained, dis-colored, and dirty tile and grout to practically like new condition.  Their inital suggestion upon purchasing new or resale homes to have our Travertine polished and the grout cleaned then immediately color-sealed to both enhance the appearance and protect the grout has been a huge money saver over the years. Once the grout is sealed, all stains and dirt can easily be steam cleaned again to make our floors appear newly installed.
They are consistently efficient and thorough from providing estimates, to scheduling, meeting their timeline, and most importantly leaving our floors looking AMAZING!!  The honesty, integrity, and attention to detail make using Scottsdale Travertine the BEST company to choose! We've dealt with and utilized many contractors over the years that have set but failed to meet expectations and quite simply don't seem to care about obtaining future business.  So Scottsdale Travertine is truly a company you will be impressed with and enjoy referring to family, friends and neighbors!!

After having an estimate last year, I contacted them in order to have them come out again and was even willing to pay $30 for an estimate. I was surprised to hear they were not even interested in doing the job of repairing the travertine.  Perhaps they don't need the business after all, I thought this was very poor costumer service. Will go with another company that needs the business.

If I could give 10+ stars they deserve it!  My Travertine floors were installed over 9 years without professional cleaning or resealing and were a mess.  Wayne, Diana and Elijah showed up on day one exactly on time!  They took care in moving the balance of my furniture off the floor.  I had several cracked tiles and lots of holes.  They filled the cracks and holes and I can't find where they were!  They completed one-half of the house the first day, so it allowed us to stay in the house with our pets and finished the balance of the house the second day.  They were spotless while working in the house and truly a pleasure to work with.  Their level of professionalism and knowledge of the work they were doing made my floors look better than they did when first installed!  I would highly recommend them to anyone - you won't be disappointed!!!!

Nothing but 5 stars. From start to finish Shannon and her crew have been amazing, always on time, did AMAZING work on my floors and worked very hard at a very reasonable price. I have about 1200 sqft of Travertine and they left it shiny and spotless. I'll always be using them any time I need my travertine floors cleaned, polished or sealed. Very highly recommended if you are looking for your travertine floors to be cleaned, polished, sealed or crack repaired.
