Lynne saved us today; our AC unit froze up and needed a freon recharge amid the height of 115 degree summer day heat.  He was here within a half hour--guess I should be glad that Yelp was really the only place I could find him and that I took a chance on one review.  I had been on hold at a couple larger companies who then told me they were all booked for the weekend and couldn't dispatch anyone.  Of course then I remembered there is a reason I try to support small business.  CGAC is a one man operation and the price and service were professional and excellent.  It was pretty memorable when Lynne jokingly responded to my comment that I'd think they would have more than one AC unit for a two level house with a there you go thinking again.  My best to him and his business.  We'll be using him again and passing his info along.

I woke up this morning to one of my air conditioning units not blowing cold anymore. I played around with it for a little bit to no avail. I called West Coast Plumbing and Air just before 8 a.m. today, a Saturday. I was told that the tech would be out sometime between 11 and 1 p.m. at 10:55 am my doorbell rang and there stood the tech! I gave him a briefing about what my problem was, he went up on the roof and a few moments later told me what the problem was. By 11:20 my AC was operational and blowing cold again. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! I had not used them for AC Service before, but had them out for a plumbing issue. They were not able to fix my plumbing issue after 2 hours but told me what they thought needed to be done and I just chose not to do it at that time. But they did not charge me for the two hours that they worked on that drain. I recently referred a friend to them, she sent me a message afterwards thanking me for the referral and what a great company these guys were and how quickly they fixed her issue. If you need your AC fixed call these guys! ( I'm sure they're pretty good with plumbing too I just have a really old house with bad plumbing LOL!)

We had Brandon from HammerHead Mechanical come out last week and do our summer service.  I was so impressed he was on time, polite and courteous. We felt he actually went above and beyond what others have done for us in the past. The thing we loved the most was how much he cared for our house and property. Amazing people and service from the AC Team! I was thinking about replacing our home HVAC system and was enquiring with a few companies. Luckily, AC Team called me first to discuss my needs. When I explained that my system, while 10 years old, still works fine and had generally been gently used on account of the home being vacant in the summer months. I received a great education on the benefits of taking a if its not broke, don't fix it approach. Nick was able to come the NEXT DAY (how many companies would do that??) and did a health check on my system (finding no problems) and provided advice on what we could do to increase dust and allergen filtering. He also set-up a new wifi connected thermostat so that I can check temperature and system operation remotely when we aren't in Arizona. I will certainly being using AC Team for regular servicing and they'll be my choice when a new system is needed. I'm left feeling that one call from AC Team saved us $8,000+ today. This is a company that values honesty and integrity in service over making sales.

I had a very good experience with A.J. Mike's Air Conditioning. My air conditioner quit working and I called Mike. He told me he would be here in an hour. He was here in 45 minutes and worked on it, even in the dark, till he had fixed it. Explained to me first what was wrong and what he had to do to fix it and the price. I would call this business for any problems I have. Great service!

The service of this place is impeccable.  I had them install 2 Nest thermostats and Nest doorbell.  Prior to them coming out, all my messages and text were returned almost immediately.  Ralph, my install guy, worked fast and walked me through the setup and offered lots of good advice. He even advised me about the credits offered by SRP for installing my thermostats. Plus charged me LESS than the quote and I didn't even ask for it.  No complaints here and would not hesitate to recommend anyone installing a Nest device.  Yes - you could probably do it fine on your own but just something about the piece of mind of a professional install.

Wow! I am more than satisfied with this company! Last Friday, when it was only 118 degrees outside, my central A/C stopped blowing cold air. Naturally, I panicked and thought I would end up dying in the heat over the long weekend. I searched online for an A/C service repair company in the far west valley that would service Buckeye, and AC-Men came up. Since it was so late, I wasn't really expecting much when I called, but at 8:30 p.m. on a Friday evening, David Rivera answered my call, right away. He said he was on a call in Goodyear but would come out to my house as soon as he was done. First off, I was blown away that he would come out that late, especially on a Friday night. He arrived at my house at 9:50 p.m. and spent almost 2 hours in the dark, diagnosing the problem. He had to get a part but made it to where I had temporary emergency service until the part could be purchased the next day. To make a long story short, David from AC-Men is hands down, the epitome of great customer service. He got my A/C blowing cold again and his prices were half what the other companies charge. He didn't even charge me an after-hours fee, just a regular service call! As he was leaving my house at close to midnight, he mentioned that he was on his way out to Maricopa.......AT MIDNIGHT.......because another person called and their A/C just went out and he didn't want them to suffer in the heat so he was going to fix their A/C!!!!! You will be hard pressed to find a better, more reliable, and fairer company to repair your heat/AC. I highly recommend this company! Thank you David, for such a wonderful job and for caring about people you don't even know.

A few months ago, in February 2016, I was considering installing air conditioning at our laundromat.  We got several bids and Plumbsmart convinced me I should do the job right then because during the winter when business is slow, I can get high quality work at decent prices.  Plumbsmart's pricing was okay.  They estimated the building should have a 7-ton unit, but I went with a 10-ton unit to assure we would keep the place cool without struggling.  I paid them $11,700.  Installation itself left much to be desired with the quality of work, damaged ceiling tiles and the awful way they restored.  I complained and they corrected the cosmetic repairs within the week, but it left me wondering how well the system's ducting was installed based solely on how they tried to piece back broken tiles to my ceiling.  

Then comes summer and the start of my horrific experience with this company.  The system ran day and night and barely moved the thermostat needle.  Customers are angry and going to our competitors.  Yes, I'm losing customers!!  Plumbsmart has been out many times in attempts to fix the system, but hardly any improvement.  One day, they asked for $1250 to install two more air intakes vents.  I paid.  It made some improvement, but we are still far away to what is acceptable.  Folks, I am NOT asking for 75 degree temps.  I would be happy with 85, but the system doesn't come close.  I'm mad as hell.  I keep losing customers.  Right now, it's 9pm at night.  The unit is set at 78, and it's 92 inside.  92 is not acceptable to anyone's standards.  Plumbsmart drags out with their responses and it'll be winter before they find a solution.  The system was installed last February.  It's now about August, and still no solution in sight.  I DO NOT recommend Plumbsmart for installing new air conditioners for any home or business.  I do not believe they know what they are doing.  I am leaving these reviews in hopes to warn others... and Plumbsmart has not heard the last of me.  I plan on filing a complaint with the contractors board, BBB, any other gov't agencies which may help regulate hvac contractors and I will be filing a court case for resolution.  I have paid them $13,000.  I would like to cool my place to 85... am I asking too much?  My experience with Plumbsmart and the results they have provided are beyond ridiculous.

This company took advantage of us on a holiday service call and charged outrageously for parts and labor that didn't fix the problem.

Didn't show up multiple times after scheduling an appointment.   In both cases I took off work to be there. Then told us our warranty was holding it up.  We confirmed the warranty company authorized the purchase.  Then wouldn't return my husband's call or text.  This company is running on the back of a napkin.  Highly unprofessional.  My poor kids have had no AC for over 5 weeks.  RUN from this company.  

Contractor finally called back after my review and said they didn't like working with the Home warranty company and no longer wanted to do the work.  Then they shouldn't contract with the home warranty.  They know my family has had no air and kept lying to us saying that they were waiting on the warranty company.  20 days later they finally say sorry we just don't feel like doing it - all along telling us they were working on our behalf.  This company lacks complete integrity.
