Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

Scott at Donley referred me to *exactly* the right company (DRACO Air) for completing a new, R-22, SEER 13, split-system installation in my home with the equipment I purchased (condenser unit and air handler) just before the ban on manufacturing new HCFC air conditioners and heat-pumps went into effect (R-22 units seem to function better in the extreme Arizona heat). The accounting lady who answered my (first) call earlier in the day was very friendly and helpful.

Christian showed up on time and went right to work diagnosing our issues.
Found the problems that were left by previous companies, and went about correcting the problems.

My A/C went out on July 3rd at 8am and my home warranty company (Fidelity) contracted Grand Canyon Refrigerator to help. Martin was at our house within two hours of my call to the warranty company.

Martin had the a/c running within 15 minutes and gave us some sound advice on the air filters we were using.

This guy is amazing. I had a terrible incident where my AC went out in the dead of summer and he talked me through the entire process and what I needed to do in order to fix it. He didn't try to scam me into anything and let me know all of my options and the outcome would be in each decision. This is the most amazing HVAC company and you won't ever find anyone as good and cares about quality. This man is genius I tell you go to him and you won't regret it!

I can't say enough good things about Valley's Best AC. Chase and the rest of the team have always been very responsive and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my air conditioner today and Chase came over as soon as he could and got it working right away. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. Wolff has installed three A/C units for me over the past few years.  Each time they did a fantastic job and had the best pricing.  Tim was great to work with.  He took the time to understand my needs and find a solution to best meet those needs.  The install teams were all great and very courteous.  They took the time to plan ahead and as a result, I've been very pleased with their work.  

I'm pretty picky with my installs and check each one after they are installed for overall workmanship, leaks (small and big throughout the system), temperature differentials (e.g. it heats and cools to specifications) and the work area is clean and free of debris.  When something is not perfect, they fix it that day or the next.  

I would highly recommend the team at Wolff for your next install or service.

Very disappointed!  Do not recommend.  Phone calls are not returned in a timely manner.  They don't stand behind the products they sell by admission but yet still sell them to the consumer.    Brand new unit, less than 4 years old, serviced 4 times and never covered by warranty.  Not trying to bash, just being honest.  Did not work for me, will not return!

Called to schedule an appointment.  They were having phone issues.  Kim, who answered the phone, began cursing when she answered.  She evidently couldn't hear me but I could hear her loud and clear as she cursed up a storm about how she hasn't been trained on the new system.  It took me 4 more phone calls before I finally was able to talk with Kim.  I was wanting to get them to come out again based on the previous service call I had with AHS.  She told me she had to ask a supervisor about it and came back saying it would cost another 150 to have them come out or I would have to do another AHS claim through AHS (which would mean another 75 bucks).  I then asked to talk with the manager and she said he was in a meeting.  I asked how he could be in a meeting if she just spoke with him and she began to fumble with her words.

She stonewalled me hard.  Wouldn't let me talk with another representative as I requested (because our rapport had severely deteriorated at this point).  She told me she was the only representative and that she was the highest authority and ONLY person I could talk with.  

Oddly enough, I called back and got Tiffany.   Tiffany was wonderful.  She deescalated the situation, put me on hold and got the manager who was able to resolve things with my situation.  As this situation is a work in progress in terms of the service call, I'll be updating my review accordingly on how they follow up on service.  Kim had me at one star, Tiffany was able to get me to two stars.  Hopefully the service call goes well and I can amend upwards.
