Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Phoenix, AZ

We bought a combo heat pump unit 3 years ago ( over $5000). Unit would not turn on to heat this year. Called Mike Carroll, salesman who sold us unit.  He told me there would be NO CHARGE to come out and check unit. Made appt and two days before date they texted to say THEY changed appt to the next day. Called them and made arrangements to come on the day they were suppose to. Jason showed up on time and determined problem was the thermostat.  He said it would be $79.00 for diagnostic service and ARE YOU READY FOR THIS $330.00 to replace the thermostat that costs less than $30.00 at home depot. Told him to contact Mike about service charge and NO THANK YOU on something that should cost less the $100 total to replace.
Bought new thermostat for $28.00 and replaced same in less that 10 mins. Service Tech's make commission on UP SELLING customers.  Well don't worry Donley and Mike I'm due to change both my 3 and 3.5 Trane units that are over 20 years old and I won't be checking with YOUR company. You just lost over $10,000 thanks to JASON.

Chris has been our technician and we couldn't ask for a better one. He is timely and professional. He is neat (even in this heat, don't know how he does) He speaks plane English and doesn't try to snow us with a bunch of technical terms we wouldn't know anyway. Very personable. Don't know how many techs Qual-Tech has but I can tell you  they don't have a better one.

Martin recently replaced our 20-year-old AC unit. He was responsive to our questions, honest, friendly, and professional, with competitive prices. If he said he'd be here at a certain time, he was here. He gave us an accurate estimate of how long the installation would take and how much it would cost. We highly recommend him.

What a find!  Kevin's Parts came through for me when Amazon and other big box stores couldn't!  Personal service!  Got to see that the parts I needed were right!  They went out of their way to help me with parts that were out of stock elsewhere!  I love doing business with real people in real time!  I love working with people who know what they are doing!  Give them a call!  Like me, I'm sure you will walk away smiling!

Our experience with Valley's Best was phenomenal - one of the most honest and trustworthy experiences I've had with any company. Our heater broke and they came out the same day. When we realized the issue was only occurring at night/early morning (when it was cold), Chase was in constant contact with us to plan for him to come out to be able to diagnose the issue super early the following day. He quickly figure out what was wrong, and got the parts and did the repair within 24 hours all under the warranty of our manufacturer. I was 100% that we were getting honest services at a completely reasonable and affordable cost. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, he helped us brainstorm how we could address multiple other issues that were identified in our home inspection that we had been neglecting for a while. I will be using this company again.

Bill came out and serviced our 3 year old heat pump. He was very through and explained what he was doing and educated us on a few things since we are from another state and had never owned a heat pump before. I will continue to call Bill for all of our heating and cooling needs. He is honest and truly cares about the quality of his work.

I have been using this family owned company for my home and business for years. I have had first class service from them. Jason who is the son has taken over for his father who is in remission from cancer. He also is a very kind and caring man who taught his son well. I have called Jason on crazy hours and yes even Saturday and Sunday and they always fit me in. I have sent him to my parents on a Sunday he came out and fixed the problem. He is  very reliable and very kind and caring. Jason I cant THANK YOU enough! If I had known about them being on Yelp I would Have shared this sooner!

The guys were able to schedule me quickly!  I really just needed a tune-up and the condenser line unclogged, but they took the time to explain how each moving part looked in terms of wear and condition.  Their prices were reasonable, too.  I will keep them in mind to continue upkeep on our old AC unit.

Working with Semper Solaris was a pleasure. Dennis walked us through all our options for the system. He made everything very understandable and let us know what to expect every step of the way. The rest of the Semper Solaris team also communicated very well and kept us updated on the project. My heat pump started blowing cool a few days ago. After another company came out and estimated it would take $2000 to repair my system (and recommended that I buy another one) I called Wolff for a second opinion. I was referred to them by one of my family members.

One of their guys came out today and spent quite a bit of time on my roof before coming down and telling me what the problem was. He said that aside from being an old system, the only thing wrong with it was that it was 4 pounds low on refrigerant. This was a stark contrast from the first company that came out, who said that I was out of refrigerant, there was a refrigerant leak needed to be fixed, and two other pieces were broken.

When I heard that the only issue was being low on refrigerant (and that the price they quoted me per pound was $30 cheaper) I was very relieved. The tech filled it up within 15 minutes and my house was warm again.

I'm really glad I called Wolff for a second opinion, and that I didn't get grifted (as it seemed the other company was certainly trying to do). I'll certainly be calling Wolff again in the future when things go wrong and recommend them to my friends and family as well.

I was originally ok with paying a premium for Howard Air. They are more expensive but I thought had good warranty and service. For the past 3 years tried to get pricing for a thermostat with sensor. Excuse after excuse for not providing it. This year I was told to go to their showroom to see the options. Which I did and the people at the showroom were shocked I was told this since it was a 30 min drive for me and able to be discussed over the phone. No one had pricing since it was a new item. Was told a new thermostat installed was over $500 or if I wanted to buy it myself over $200 to install. I wanted it and it would work for how my house is set up and when the technician came I was told he would be an expert in setting this up because Howard Air does hundreds a day and that's what I'm paying for. Technician left me to connect to WiFi myself and was looking online with me for step by step guide to set up sensors. During the whole time taking about how complicated it was and his first time Installing them. Some $200 each expert I was paying for. Called the office while he was here, explained my frustration and just like Howard Air they said they would call me back and never did. No discount for having to set up the thermostats myself. Waiting for my warranty to expire then finding a new HVAC company.

If we could, we'd give Red Mountain Air Conditioning 10 STARS!  The young man James who came to our home was very polite, obviously very knowledgeable in his craft, quickly accessed and solved the problem with our air conditioner.  Perhaps the big guys can advertise more , be more visible, but from our experience with Red Mountain Air...our recommendations are to call them first!

We had our HVAC serviced by Orangutan last season.  The service rep indicated that both of our systems needed new fans.  We were not consulted about the type of fans being installed.  We thought he would certainly install the correct one(same model).  Instead he installed a generic brand.  The system vibrates and is so loud the neighbors have complained.  We would have certainly paid for the correct brand/model fan, if informed.  In addition, we were charged an exorbitant price.  A service rep from your company returned to assess the situation and informed us that not only did we have off-brand fans, we were overcharged for an inferior product.  He installed rubber bumpers to help with the vibrating, but they didn't help.
We are sure because of the jack-legged installation,  we will need entire new systems in the near future.  We definitely will be researching for a more honest and ethical company.  You will no longer be considered for service.
