Best Flooring Contractors in Phoenix, AZ
We had our home carpeted and tiled for almost $17k (minus the bathrooms). This was the most aggravating home improvement project I've ever experienced. Both Dale (owner) and Henry (salesman) dropped the ball several times with lack of communication creating a ripple effect of misery for us. We were told several times that certain things would get done and they weren't done. Not putting our project on the schedule to start, not showing up on time, not finishing on time....One of the carpet installers made my tiny dog yelp in pain a couple of times because he pushed him off the bed and jerked my dog's head while petting him too hard. That same man had to be scolded by his co-worker to keep working and not goof off. He lied about my request of what rooms I wanted carpeted. What? Wouldn't I know what I wanted done? Then he started making some odd noises in one of the rooms - really weird. It was so bizarre and his co-worker was embarrassed and kept apologizing. I asked that he not be in my house the following day because he made me feel uncomfortable and I was assured he wouldn't be there. Guess what? The next day he's in one of the bedrooms!!! Apologies and $500 discount were given, but to be honest, this didn't seem like it made up for all the time wasted and headache that this company gave us. There were other things, but Yelp space is not big enough to mention it all. They came out twice already to re-do a carpet area that we weren't satisfied with. It's crunchy and noisy when you step on the carpet. It's still not satisfactory, but we've wasted too much time with them trying to fix the problem without any success. I am still frustrated thinking about the cluster that happened in my house. Such a comedy of errors. I would give 5 stars to the tile installers though, but everything else was a thumbs down experience. I would've gladly given my money to another company who would've done a better job. Dale and Henry know exactly what happened and acknowledge the events that took place by coming to our house twice to discuss everything crazy that happened to us. You guys are nice people, but this review is an honest one.

The contractor we are working with recommended Travis and Nichole at Floor Depot. My wife and I met with Travis on a Saturday and he was incredibly patient and helpful and also very personal. We still shopped to find the right tile and when we did came back to Floor Depot. Nichole worked with us on getting the best price and also came through on suggestions for bathroom tile. Being in sales for over 30 years I can't recall a more helpful and professional group of people to deal with. Nichole was exceptionally sweet and personal and a huge help to us! We will definitely recommend them to anyone we know. If your looking for any flooring or tile materials on bathroom, kitchen and flooring renovation projects, you'll be doing yourself and disservice if you don't go to Floor Depot! They also let us take tile samples home and didn't charge us. We'll be using them again I'm sure for our next project!

We had a small built in wine fridge project at our house and were having trouble sourcing the granite to match our existing kitchen counters, let alone the small slab. I was referred to Royal Granite from a family friend and they were terrific. Veny made some great suggestions for the space and we are extremely happy!

Russ installed a stair railing that had been removed during a flooring project. It was the type of small job that many contractors don't want to tackle. Russ's estimate was in line with others and I chose him largely based on other Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. Rather than purchasing or building new railings, Russ examined the original and said that I could save money by reusing what I had. He worked over 2 days and was very detailed. There were a couple of decisions to be made and he shared different options for me to consider (without changing he estimate). It's obvious that he stands by his work which drives him to do a quality job the first time. I've got a couple of other home projects on the horizon and he will be my first call. Highly recommend him.

Cesar and his dad make the dynamic duo. They were professional, always in constant communication and hard workers. They got it done so quickly and efficiently and stayed within our budget. Will definitely have then do our bathroom when we are ready. Highly recommend.

I couldn't be happier with the floor selection and quality of their products. Jeff is very honest and professional . He is always there in case more material is needed. I very highly recommend his business and advice. Jeff also connected me with a very professional floor installation company; they both communicate to give excellence in service.

I love working with Big Q
Very reliable and professional.
It's hard to trust or find a good contractor. I'm so happy to work with him. He helped me with many different projects. He is very patient and try to deliver the best quality and make his customers happy. And so reliable. He always messages me back right on the same day or just a few hours later when I sent him a text.
I recommend his service 100%

An office in my home was flooded in August 2012. I called ACR since they had previously cleaned my carpets. Their response was immediate. They did a professional and thorough job of removing my carpet and ruined drywall. They also treated the room for mold. The workers kept me informed of every step of the process and interacted with my insurance adjuster to get the job done. I feel they went above and beyond what was required to do the job. They were always available by phone and provided useful suggestions along the way.I would definitely recommend this company not only for carpet cleaning but especially in those stress filled times of home damage.

After my review the owner of the business, Brian, reached out. It seems there was some confusion as who was going to contact who. I was impressed in talking with Brian and learning more about him. My take away is that he is honest, empathic, and a hard working business owner. Since I had no work done I cannot speak to their craftmanship.
I will give 5 stars for the integrity and communication on the part of the owner.

We hired Tyson from K and B Remodeling to do our master bath and kitchen. I cannot say enough great things about this company. He gave us a schedule and kept to it. He always kept us informed throughout the project. The finished product turned out better than I could ever imagine. I Would highly recommend him and this company!

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

Alfredo and his team always do excellent high-quality work. We've had them rebuild the gables on our house, rebuild a covered patio on our casita, and replace several sections of warped and worn-out siding. Everything has turned out great and we're very pleased. We'll be happy to hire Alfredo's team to do more work for us in the future!

Recently renovated our small condo with granite countertops. After looking around we found Apache Tile and I couldn't believe how reasonable their pricing was! Ben was so helpful in making sure we found slabs that were not only beautiful.. but also met our price range. The installers had a tough job with our HUGE mirror in the bathroom as the old backsplash was interfering. However, they were able to take the mirror down, install, and put the mirror back up WITHOUT breaking it - let alone without a single scratch! (Didn't even know that was possible!) Overall, very happy with the result. Thank you Ben & crew for making this process easy and affordable!

Had a bad experience here. Contacted the owner for help. He NEVER followed up as he said he would. I wouldn't work with them again.
They have a terrible customer follow up. I never received an itemized receipt and it appears that everything they sell since they stock very little is considered "special order" so is non returnable
Find another tile place
They say they are a percentage off. But they're a percentage off of their made up prices so not really a deal!

Most of the good reviews are for Rafal. I didn't get him. I got a team that disrespected my property and time. The installer was late every day with no communication. They didn't properly protect my condo from all the dust that got everywhere and I had to spend 2 days cleaning everything and over $100 in dry cleaning. They dinged my furniture, cabinets and even my front door and the project lead tried to charge me $150 extra for the crap job wrapping my things in plastic and being "extra careful" during demolition. Finishing up they left my patio a mess and they cracked my toilet. I was promised a replacement of the same or equivalent brand, but what I got was the cheapest toilet from Home Depot. To top it off, they over billed my by $300 on the final invoice. Yes, the floors look good, but surely there are companies that can install flooring without the damage and disrespect.

I too found Rob on Yelp. I called to make an appointment and he was able to come out the next morning. Don't judge me but I had some particularly nasty pet stained and coffee stained white carpet. I was moving out of a rental and figured there was no way I would get my deposit back even after I had the carpets cleaned.... That is until Rob showed up, He did an awesome job, was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond the average commercial cleaners that I have used in the past. He quoted me a very fair price before he started cleaning (about half of what his competitors would have charged) and that was the same price I paid when he was done. My carpets looked almost new and definitely better than when I moved in. Rob even checked in with me the next day to make sure I was still happy with the results and offered to come back if I wasn't! Talk about great service! I would definitely recommend him to anyone, and yes I got my entire deposit back!

I had a significant hole in my stucco after a leak. I dealt with two companies that dealt with stucco repair and each of them quoted me outrageous prices. With some research online I came across this company and I promise you they are legit. Extremely professional, punctual on appointment, very reasonably priced; and did a fantastic job repairing my stucco. I had the pleasure of dealing with Ron and highly recommend him.
(long time yelper, first time commenter. But felt the need to give a solid and trustworthy business respect after my annoying first few goes with other companies)

I cannot state how happy my house is with the work that was done to our home by Patterson Homes and there staff. It all started with a flood where we had to replace the drywall and carpets. I was out on vacation and my roommates let me know. I had remembered a recommendation from a friend for patterson homes and then got in contact with Chance McKelvie who was the project manager. He was amazing through the whole processes, he was quick to act and settled my mind when I was away from home. He made sure to keep both me and my household know what was happening every step of the way. My roommate a let me know how kind and helpful Chance and his whole staff were. When I got home it was all handled and it was better then when I left it. We liked the company so much we commissioned them for additional work such as our tile. That also was better than expected. We will continue using this company and as she definitely go above and beyond and make you feel cared about. We highly recommend the company and suggest you ask for Chance because he is amazing!

I Do NOT recommend Express Flooring for Tile Installation.
The actual install was longer than the quoted time frame; with only 2 people spending 1.5-3hours a day working. It sucked arranging with work to be home for the installation and they're only working a couple of hours. To try to make up for the time not working on the install through the week, the tile installers of 2 people, were at the house from 8:30am- 6:30pm on Saturday and 8:30am-9:30pm on a Sunday which is absolutely RIDICULOUS. You're not supposed to walk on the tile and confined to a bedroom because not one area in the house was finish completely.
The design consultant said they would remove the baseboards before installing the tile... this did not happen.
The tile installers were not careful removing the previous flooring, ripping the coating of the bottoms of cabinets. I had to go around the house resealing the caulking of the baseboards and painting the walls due to all the cracking.
Also, the large red tile spacers were left in the grout!! WTF!
The tile installers were working in the drive way, pouring their waste from grouting into to rocks..... WHICH NOW THERES A LARGE AREA IN OUR YARD THAT IS DISCOLORED!!! Also discolored the water hose reel box out front and splashed the side of the house. Not to mention the little pieces of cut tile scattered around.
There was a Lack of Communication from Express flooring. Hard to understand the crew that came to install the tile because I'm not fluent in Spanish.
We did have 3 bedrooms recarpeted as well. The installers that were contracted were great and only took a couple of hours.
I did reach out to Express Flooring about my experience. They said they would look into it... and then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING....
THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!
