Best Flooring Contractors in Phoenix, AZ
The flooring looked great. Unfortunately I was nice enough to leave my air conditioning on during the installation. I had to go back to my house twice during the install, once because they installed the bathroom flooring in the wrong direction. Both times I went back my back door was left wide open in the middle of July. This overworked and burn out my AC compressor. Because it was an R-22 system I had to get the whole system replaced and it cost me more than the flooring. When I spoke with the owner he basically just said I should have had it serviced more often and it was my fault. Basically, if you are going to hire this company, turn off your AC and let them suffer.

Great selection and friendly service. I am impressed. They don't keep the flooring in stock so it's a relatively small store but that also keeps the prices down.

Alex and his crew do wonderful work. I have had them do my kitchen and master bath. I have been very pleased. He listens to your ideas and makes suggestions. I like the idea of picking my own slabs of stone from his factory. Although it takes a bit longer to get a response from them, I would highly recommend this company.

We called Russ to replace our rotten staircases.
It turned out that there was also a structural damage behind the attached wall, which is not easy to fix, in general.
Russ is very pleasant to communicate, hard working and very knowledgeable. You can tell Russ takes a great pride in his work and that shows in the results!
I highly recommend Russ.

Cesar and his dad make the dynamic duo. They were professional, always in constant communication and hard workers. They got it done so quickly and efficiently and stayed within our budget. Will definitely have then do our bathroom when we are ready. Highly recommend.

First-off, we had been looking at flooring samples at different businesses for almost a year and were getting completely confused.
We eventually found Floor Depot North and spoke with the owner Jeff. We told him what we were "kind of looking for" but didn't know for sure. Jeff explained several different options and showed us a lot of samples from the large selection at his store.
We ended up choosing a beautiful hand-scraped engineered wood from Shaw. It came in 3 widths, which is something we never thought of until Jeff suggested it.
Jeff gave us a great price and the service was outstanding. The new floor completely transformed our house. We will not buy flooring from anyone else!

Q is literally the best handy man ever. Ever since the first day I hired him, he has tackled all of the crazy random jobs I've thrown at him quickly and professionally. I don't even feel right calling him a handy man as he is way more than that! On top all of that, he's super sweet. I will miss him and all of his amazing work when he leaves California. Damn you Arizona for stealing Q from us!!

This company used to be one of the best, but is under new management and has really taken a turn for the worse. Eight weeks after storm damage to my home, I still have no idea when work is expected to begin.
Three times I've been told that our project will be scheduled at the next meeting, but so far has not been scheduled. Three weeks have gone by since I've heard from my project manager, who doesn't answer my calls or texts. Twice I've been told someone will call me to discuss the project but never called. More than once I've arranged time to stay home from work to meet someone who was supposed to come start the work but never showed up.
Works stalls because someone "forgot," or because they discover an issue they should have seen months ago. I understand that everyone is very understaffed right now, but this does not explain the total lack of professionalism or communication we've experienced.
I've never worked with a company with such a complete disregard for your time. I would never recommend ACR to anyone, and my insurance company will also no longer recommend this company to its customers.

Quick and efficient. We needed our entire 2nd floor carpet replaced under a tight deadline. Brian and team were efficient, professional, and great to work with. The carpet looks amazing and they finished in one day.

Beyond happy with my finished bathrooms. The tile floors and showers are beautiful. Nik guided us through the whole process and his team was very helpful and professional. They asked us questions about options we didn't know we had so we were able to get better than what we had imagined. We're very grateful we chose to work with this team! 10/10 recommend.

I'm very happy to recommend K & B Remodeling! When I was looking to get certain elements of my master bath, guest bath and kitchen remodeled, I interviewed a lot of different companies to try and find a good fit for me. At the top of my list was finding a company with good reviews that could do the remodel at a fair and resonable cost. K & B Remodeling checked both those boxes! As the remodel went on I found the company to be extremely trustworthy- which is a BIG deal. Any little thing that came up, the crew was on it and took care of it! I am really just blown away by how it turned out. Its even better than I imagined. Tyson was my project manager and he made the experience awesome. The communication was always excellent and I was kept informed throughout the entire process, which was greatly appreciated. Also a special shout out to Doug and Don (Cactus Valley Plumbing) who really went above and beyond on the job to make sure everything looked and worked great. As a special bonus, the crew was literally some of the nicest people I've ever met (is this even possible??) At the end- it was right on budget! You know they did a good job when you're looking at the rest of your house trying to figure out what needs to be remodeled next. I'll be calling you guys! Thank you so much.

I needed a new contractor to do some renovations on our new home so we turned to Yelp and and found shepherd contracting. We used Thomas and his team when my new home needed some updating. The communication was above and beyond. We love our new bathrooms and will post updated photos soon!

I had an outdoor patio wall commissioned through them and it came out spectacular! They put up the wall quickly and efficiently, and I was really impressed with the work! Will be returning to finish patio floor and likely much more!

They gave me a really fast quote and their installer was supposed to come out to confirm the measurements. After my prompting the installer scheduled to come out this past Saturday but he never showed up. I texted him and no response. Dont do business with this company, very poor service.

This started out so good, but they dropped the ball. Manager Jim Pollack was great. Super nice, really informed, and found the perfect carpet for us. The problem is with installation. They didn't finish the job on the first day and now, to weeks later, we still don't have our last closet done. Installation manager Gabriel is a terrible communicator. He doesn't return calls and no-showed to finish the job two days in a row. Absolutely ruined what had been a good experience.

I called Robert to get carpets cleaned before new furniture arrived, he was very accomadating and worked me into a time frame just perfect for me. Robert arrived helped move items that were in the way, sprayed pretreatment then started cleaning. The cleaning was very thorough, going over trouble spots until they were as clean as the rest of the rooms. I expecte the job to take about an hour but Robert spent over two hours doing the best job I have ever seen on cleaning carpets. I was given a lot of tips on keeping the carpets in good order and helping to prolong the life of them. What a great guy doing a great job, thanks again for the good job.

I put off replacing my toilets forever. If I had known it would be this easy I would have done it long ago. Tony picked up my new ones, replaced and hauled off the old ones. He was a pleasure to work with and he did a great job. Highly recommend, I will be using this business again in the future.

This review has been a long time coming, but I honestly have been avoiding having to relive the experience by writing it out.
This review is specifically for Patterson Landscaping, part of Patterson Homes. We bought a 2018 home on 1.2 acres and we needed to get it landscaped. After getting quotes from several companies, we decided to go with Patterson, who were not the cheapest but gave the impression of pure professionalism. We signed a contract March 2021 for them to extend the pavers on our driveway, create another walkway to the street and a walkway all the way to the back patio, which would be doubled in size with paver overlays. We also wanted some low maintenance plants, a few boulders and rock and a pergola cover over the back patio extension. A huge $40k project that was nothing to scoff at.
They had originally said they would start in 6-8 weeks. They didn't start the project for 16 weeks! They blamed it on being unable to find the correct pavers to match what we already had. When they finally said they found them and they were delivered, they were the wrong pavers! They have been looking for the wrong thing the entire time. The good news was they were able to find the right ones within a week and got started.
They ended up not having estimated enough rock, ordered more, poured it in the wrong place on the right side of the house and were going to leave it looking halfway done over there. We eventually got them to agree to either scrape it or fill the rest of the area in to correct the mistake.
All in all, the front yard project went relatively well and everything looked good. Then we got to the back. As we already had a concrete slab patio that they were going to be extending, they decided to use veneer pavers to overlay on top of the concrete and then extend over the dirt. I wish I had researched this before, but why should I have to? Apparently veneers do not do well over dirt and should ONLY be used on concrete. We realized why afterwards. Our back patio, with the numerous timing delays (for the pavers and for the pergola cover) is very uneven with large dips of single pavers or whole areas. In the areas where water comes off the roof, it has started eroding the quarter minus underneath and now pools. Mortar at the edges of the patio is already cracking. And they have refused to acknowledge or do anything. When we had to have ROC come out to look at it, Guyton promised to amend it any way possible so we would be happy. And then we never heard from him again.
Overall, from signed contracts to completion, it took 9 months (they said it would take 6-8 weeks to start and 2 weeks to complete). They then had to come out 3 months later to fix some broken mortar on the patio. It has since broken again (3 months later). This company is a nightmare of miscommunication and lack of communication. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I was very happy with this company's work initially. The sales team was kind. It was expensive compared to another company, but worth it to have a quick install as my kids and I bought a new house and we want our bedding in the house. Living on air mattresses in the living room while we remodel is not They came and organized their supplies for the time job. The first day they worked all day, 2-3 guys. The next day 1 guy came. The third day (today) is a no show. I can't reach anyone. Today was suppose to be the last day of my 3 day install. What is done looks great. But now I'm stuck because I leave for out of state and won't be here to let any come in should they try to tomorrow or for the next week. The phone number goes straight to voicemail and does not have a voicemail box set up. For the price and what I saw the first day, I expect better.
Update: upon my return I was able to reach and schedule this company to finish the job on a Saturday. Three guys came out and it was finished before they left. The quality of work is very good! I'm happy they responded and moved so quickly.
