Seemed very nice and responsive at first.  Came to the house to see the job and write up a quote - never heard from him again.

Edit: Response to my review is misleading.  It was a project much larger than just countertops, and I found someone that was willing to do just the countertop if that's what made the most sense.  Skyler did not respond to this inquiry/suggestion.  It wasn't as if I waited 4 days, got impatient, and wrote a review.  I waited 13 days and not a peep.  Skyler did reach out to me with apologies after seeing the review, which I appreciate.

We interviewed three different contractors when we decided to remodel our Scottsdale home, but Shannon Terembes and Five40 Remodeling stood out as the clear winner for a number of reasons. To start, we knew that his company had completed many remodels, and would therefore have the knowledge and experience to give remodeling advice. We also felt that they had probably already come across any problems that might arise with our project, and therefore, would know how to successfully deal with them. In addition, Shannon informed us that when they start a project, they work through to completion without jumping around to other projects. This was a huge selling point for us, as we had never experienced a contractor that had worked this way - with most juggling multiple projects at the same time and not showing up for days at a time due to being on another job site.
The entire project was well orchestrated from quote to completion and the work was of superior quality and craftsmanship. The crew did what they said they were going to do, including showing up at our house on time each day and focusing on what they had told us would be happening that day. Nearly a year and a half after the completion of our remodel, we came across a concern with one of our cabinets and notified Shannon, who responded that very day and had scheduled a repair within a week. We couldn't be happier with our remodel and for selecting Five40 Remodeling.

They replaced our previous shower. The new one is top notch! Including being beautiful and easy to keep clean!

Had a great experience working with Deb @ the Glendale Baker Bros location. Being a new home owner there are many things in the to do list. I walked in shared photos of my kitchen and we started pulling tile to fit the space. The experience from the initial walk in to day of tiles being laid was EASY. Tony his team literally saved me from a nightmare.  I hired someone who was getting their company up and going to make my brick wall higher in my backyard.  It was originally only 5ft tall and everyone could see in my backyard. This new company completely botched the wall and was not unstained it correctly.  I had to fire them on the spot but they've already created such a mess.  I contacted Tony to come check out the horrible job to see if he could provide me a estimate. He came out the next day and let me know what all needed to be done to correct the issue and finish the job.  The estimate was a fairly priced for the work ahead.  I agreed and he came back the next day with his team.  They had my wall done within hours which included reinforcing and correcting the problem from the first company.  He was super professional,  cleaned up their mess ALONG with the previous company mess  and the communication was great. Want an A/C or heating repair done right? Multiple options presented to you if you need a new unit?  Then I highly recommend CHA.  

A couple years ago we had a broken unit, another company came in (after making us wait), did not fix the problem and were surly on top of it.  Then we called Cruz at CHA. He was VERY fast to respond, and was able to get us going again. It was so nice to work with someone who was professional and personable. And his prices were competitive, easily beating out the competition.

In addition, when an old air conditioning unit needed replacing, Cruz provided several options, different models, prices, and explained in terms we could understand the differences between the units, energy performance, warranties, etc.  It made making our decision about which unit to select so much easier.  And again, everything happened fast.  Price check? His quote easily beat anyone else's.

He does duct replacement, and unit maintenance as well.  

CHA is saved in my phone, and it will be the first call I make if I have any A/C or heating unit issues in the future.

They are locally owned and managed.   They were able to work with our schedule and on time, efficient.  Our carpets came out beautifully and we will definitely use them again!

Kevin is an expert craftsman and consummate professional. He was communicative, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. Our bathroom looks AMAZING! I highly recommend Kevin for quality work at a fair price.

Mr. Garcia worked very hard on the waterfall faucet for my tub.  It was a difficult job, and the faucet came without any diagrams. Part of the install really did need some explaining.  He did his best but I need to contact the company and ask one question for the job to be completed.
I am going to have him do several more jobs for me.

Jon and his team are wonderful to work with. I needed my kitchen and bathroom remodeled and was lost on choosing a design. It was for a rental property and I had a budget but also didn't want to cut corners on the design. Very efficient, and met the budget and time line. I look forward to using him on future projects.

My wife and I recently moved into a new home that was looking pretty rough on the outside. We set up a walkthrough with Global Elite Builders to look into painting the interior and exterior. They gave us a fantastic quote,  we were ready to book, and then they took it upon themselves to find dangerous problems with our home's electrical wiring. We booked immediately.
Our paint job had difficult time frames and they had to work around a plumber, and they did so with zero issue. They fixed all the dangerous problems with our home and did a fantastic, quick paint job for a great price.
Now, whenever we want to make significant changes to the home we will call Global Elite.

We had finished our floors using sealer from Lowe's or Home Depot (we didn't know how terrible this would be).  The floors looked okay. A year or two later, we hired someone to clean the floors.  The previous gloss/sealer turned into little glue balls all over the floor and our Saltillo was ruined. The other people came out 4 more times to try to fix it but nothing worked.  We hired Mexican Tile Restoration in early 2014 (we checked several references they gave us which were glowing).  Well, I understand the glowing recommendations!  Our Saltillo floor didn't look this good when we moved into the house 12 years ago.  The floors looked brand new.  They also gave us tips for maintaining the floor.  It's about 1.5 years later and our floors still look incredible.

I can't say enough about the work that Joe D did for our family.  We had a few major projects that took planning and and care, and Envy Flooring was the perfect choice.  Let me start by saying that I am not the easiest home owner to work with.  That said, I am not cheap and prefer quality over a cut rate "Craigslister".  I also didn't want to overspend either.  

When Joe D came to measure, we shared with him our vision, as we were changing every foot of flooring, over three stages and three months.  Joe helped us decide the operating order, which way to lay the tile, etc.  When Joe designed our entryway, he laid out a few different options, and he wouldn't stop until we were satisfied.  This same quality and attention to detail was used for our not only the tile, but also carpet and adding detail tiles to our back splash.  

Joe and his brother-in-law (also Joe) are very respectful, hard working and excellent to work with in every way.  It was the two of them that did the measuring, layout, install and clean-up.  Nobody else accessed our house and we were able to give them access and trust that all was going to be safe.  

I would be happy to be a reference for anyone looking for quality and fair pricing.

The whole Re-Bath team was excellent, from start to finish. Design consultant Bart had lots of great suggestions helping us decide on concepts, styles and colors. He also followed up as work progressed and came around at the end to make sure we were satisfied.
As for the work itself, we can't say enough good things about Brad and others that helped him. His preparation included placing cardboard not only on the floor from the front door, but cutting individual pieces to fit each of the 21 steps of our spiral staircase up to the master bath. Lot of plastic curtains to manage dust, too. Bart was always very professional, and his work (he did it all, from demo to floor tiles to plumbing) was excellent in all respects. His texts kept us well-informed about when he was coming over and provided a daily progress summary with photos when he was done.
The results were exactly what we wanted, and the project was completed on time and at the agreed-upon price. Re-Bath was also the best value of all of the teams we considered, and we're verry happy we went with them.

Jason came in on a Monday the fallowing week on Wednesday had Hugo and another employee come and install just under 1,000sq ft of tile in 2 days and a couple hours. Hugo was great helpful as well as Jason. I would recommend CFS Installations to anyone. Great prices great.

I hired Urban Customs to install my new flooring and baseboards. I couldn't be more thrilled with the end result! The flooring is absolutely beautiful and the craftsmanship impeccable! These are great people to work with and offer competitive pricing. Highly recommended!
