Best Flooring Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

We were "visiting" our new home that was being built when we passed a garage being done. We stopped and the man in charge (Robert) approached us and asked if we were interested in having our garage done. Gave us his name and number and several weeks later we called him. He came by at the agreed time and explained the processes, our options and pricing. We spent some time on their website and decided on the color and process. Called Robert up and agreed on a start date. They arrived on time and finished on time and did a magnificent job. We could not be happier. Highly recommend Brilliant Epoxy Floors and be sure to ask for Robert.

Good work and fair price (got multiple quotes). There were some delays in completing the project but Juan kept in communication so it didn't bother me. He actually did a little extra free of charge because he felt bad.   Would use again.  For reference, the job included replacing a wood fence, Installing a new gate and replacing some siding.

I would have written this review sooner, but we've been too busy enjoying our new bathrooms!

My wife and I bought a home back in Feb.'17 and wanted a remodel to both bathrooms that included an expansion to the main bathroom by moving some walls and plumbing in an oversized laundry room.

It was our first remodel, and all we knew of remodels was that there are a million shows on television about them, and there's always a problem.  With that in mind, we were very open to the following:

1) things will probably cost more as the project goes on

2) it may not be done on time

3) our living situation will not be "ideal" for a few weeks

And those things happened. All of them. All we could do was manage our expectations. DJ, who was our point of contact for the remodel, managed everything else.

He was great at communicating our options. He returned a call within hours of us leaving a message. Every time. When we had an issue with something, he reacted.

That last paragraph is important.

Almost as important as the finished product.

I kid you not, I was taking 2 showers a day in that first month, just because I loved being in that bathroom.

Should we ever need another remodel to our home, I've got DJ's number in my phone.

This company did a wonderful job hired this company to do flooring for my brother who just bought a house and moved to AZ. They had so many options to choose from and Mario was very diligent in explaining the whole process to me from start to finish. Thank you Mario for tge amazing work and great customer service. Will definitely recommend.

I'm writing this review with all honesty because Yelp has pulled my reviews for my "too honest" reviews before. We found JG Flooring on Craigslist after another installer had backed out of a commitment.....we are so GLAD that he did. Jackie promptly returned our request for proposal and after acceptance, Javier and his team were at our house 4 days later to begin the job. What an amazing job they did laying almost 800 sq feet and installing new baseboards in about 1 1/2 days. When I couldn't be there on Friday, they moved the refrigerator back in place for my wife. The reviews in their Craigslist ad is 100% truthful and I will forever recommend them to anyone who tells me they're looking for wood flooring installers. I could not begin to thank Javier and Jackie enough for their fair pricing and professionalism. They are the best!!! Thanks again Javier, Jackie and the team!!

We recently had Legend Flooring replace the tile in our home. From start to finish the experience has been great! The owner, Doug, came over and gave us a quote right there and then. No waiting. He was very honest and professional. A week later we put down the deposit and the install was scheduled not long after. The group of guys that came to remove our old tile were very professional and clean. They made sure to cover our cabinets and other things that couldn't be moved to minimize the dust from the demolition. The tile installers were equally as wonderful to work with. They were so polite and respectful of our home. My husband works from home and the guys were never loud or disruptive and you would hardly know they were there. They explained things to us throughout the project and stayed on track with the timeline we were given. The end product turned out phenomenal! These guys took their time and did a fantastic job. The tile cuts and precision is far better than I've ever seen. We couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience. We would highly recommend Legend Flooring. We will use them for all of our future projects and will be recommending them to all our friends. Amazing company and customer service.

Update: a good company was found and gave a quote and did a great job on my floors.

This guy is so "professional" he's psychic and "knows" no reputable contractor will be available in 4 days to give a quote.

Guess I will test his brilliant theory.

Phoenix Home Remodeling recently remodeled our kitchen and dining room. This remodel included removing an interior wall and replacing flooring on multiple levels of our home. The communication was amazing, there was never a delay in any response to our questions along the way, and we were always told what time people would be showing up to work on things for the day. Our project stayed on budget (aside from the items we chose to upgrade) and it finished on time. They were generally working on our home 6 days a week. I had heard so many horror stories about remodeling prior to this project, so I was truly shocked that Phoenix Home Remodeling actually exceeded my expectations! We will be updating our bathrooms within the next couple of years and there's absolutely no question that we will be working with PHR again.

Kami is an excellent craftsman and gentleman.  He is a perfectionist when it come to laying engineered hardwood floors and tiles. This is the second home we have had Kami install flooring. Both homes turned out beautifully.  I highly recommend Kami as a skilled flooring installer.

We met Amir, the owner of Bare Floors, at the Maricopa County Home Show in January and were very impressed with his knowledge of flooring, his enthusiasm and his professionalism. Within a week he came to our home with a large assortment of engineered wood samples which we were quickly able to narrow down as we laid them next to our tile flooring and furniture. Amir's recommendation for flooring layout to enhance the beauty of the wood was spot on. His installation crew was also professional and hardworking and tried to minimize the dust and disruption to our lives since we stayed in the house while the wood floors were installed.
We are thoroughly pleased with our decision to choose Bare Floors and would recommend them to everyone. These beautiful wood floors make us feel as if we are living in a new house.

The tile and plumbing job for a remodeled bathroom was completed with precise attention to detail. The prep, and installation of both floor and wall tile were professionally completed. The project remodel looks like the way it should be, Brand New. Wonderful service, and came to work in a timely manner as promised.

Cardinal Floor Covering has been one of the best contractors I have worked with in Arizona. I own Hawaiian Experience Spa, a day spa with locations in the Phoenix, AZ area, and have had lots of construction work done at the spas. In most cases I have been disappointed with the contractors we hired to build out or renovate the spas. In this case, Cardinal Floor Covering was my replacement contractor after the first contractor, Fred Kromm Tile in Phoenix, went crazy and left the job!

Anyway, we were in the middle of building out a high end shower and steam room. The rough plumbing and electrical was done and it was time for the tile work. We started with Fred Kromm Tile (see his review for details) and after he left mid job we had to scramble to find a replacement. We had two new contractors come in to give us a bid. One never got back to us (typical) but the other, Cardinal Floor Covering, got back to us promptly with a reasonable bid.

Chris from Cardinal told us no payment was due until the job was fully completed and we were 100% satisfied. We hired them and they came in as scheduled and got started. Chris met us the first day at the job with two workers, both of whom were very professional. Each day after that the team showed up on time, worked quietly, and respected the fact that they were in an operating day spa with clients present. There was unanticipated additional work needed because the first contractor had done something wrong (what a shock) and they simply did it without even mentioning more money. That is exactly what I wanted to see in a contractor - give me a price, honor it, and get the job done!

The steam shower ended up exactly the way we wanted it. Customers always comment about the quality of the tile work. We are building a new day spa in the Glendale, Arizona area and are specifying Cardinal Floor Covering as the contractor for all of our flooring needs. They do a lot more than just tile, and we are looking forward to having them on the job as we build out the next day spa.

Do yourself a favor: comparison shop. The Tuftex carpet we loved here is $16.22/sq ft installed. At the other carpet store we went to, it was only $10/sq ft installed. In our theatre room of only 430 sq, this equated to be a $2,700 difference of price. Can you imagine if we were doing the whole house in this carpet?! Do your homework, compare prices elsewhere, and you'll see what I'm saying is true and save yourself thousands.

To their reply: I don't know about you, but pricing is a big factor when we're talking of thousands of dollars more, and I'm sure many people would agree. To each their own. Comparison shopping has always been a win for me though.

Alex and his crew installed 900 sf of wood laminate and also removed 400 SF of tile and 500 sf of carpet on my house in 3 days.

They were reasonably priced, on time, and great to deal with.

I'd gladly hire them again or refer them to a friend.

Irondrive Garage Floors recently refinished the floors in my two garages and I'm very pleased with the results and their service.

Brian was very knowledgeable, professional and communicated well. His staff arrived on time, worked diligently without supervision and did a great job! I'm really happy with the whole experience and recommend them highly.

Made the effort to go in to view samples/ask questions. Young woman who was there projected that she wished she wasn't!  Very briefly answered questions, but was not helpful in any way.  She did not offer information or act at all interested in us as potential customers.  Very poor impression of the business as a result, and will not be using them.

If you want your wood floors refinished, Mission is the place to go. Call Bobby Sarafin!  Bobby sent Daniel to do my 35 year old floors (they were originally stained golden oak.) Daniel is an A++ floor refinisher, the floors came out so beautiful! To finish the job, for some trim work, Bobby sent over his painters Arek & Chad (that's the name of their business) and again, top notch workers, polite too. So my advice is go with Mission even if they are a tad more expensive, remember you get what you pay for.
