This company understands customer service, which is rare today. They scheduled me in quickly, the cost was very reasonable, and Greg was a great guy to work with. He explained what he thought needed to be done and he was right. We had to pass inspection on some things to sell our house and it passed in flying colors! I highly recommend Handyman Connection, especially the professional we worked with, Greg!!

Had Ron (Electrician) out to my house yesterday for replacing some light fixtures in my house. He was excellent, on time, communicated well and super friendly. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We had bathroom and kitchen remodeled by this company. Lets begin with bathroom, our bathroom is small about 25 square feet, we wanted to do partial remodel which only include replacing countertop, tiling the tub area, putting vinyl plank on the floor and replacing wall and paint. Since this is our only bathroom, Allen said remodel would take about week-week and half, he said that everything would be accessible like toilet, shower on 4 day of remodel, he said his guy would work 7-9 hours. That was all not true. The remodel took 3 weeks, their guy worked slow and only 5 hours max or less most days, we were without toilet and shower for week and half. The quality of his work was horrible specially tile, culk and grout (pics posted). I had to make him regrout. He was telling me he is blind and cannot see how to culk properly. So this is the kind of people they send you for $8300 remodel. So after he was done, they sent a plumber to install the faucet. Their plumber was even dumber he could not figure out how to install a faucet, I pretty much had to tell him what to do. Later when they connected the toilet the supply line was leaking, that plumber started putting on like 6 supply lines and they were all leaking and he didnt know why. He told me i need to get a new toilet. He started screwing with a fill valve, broke the fill valve, water exploded all over our newly renovated bathroom. I had to yell them to send us someone who knows what they are doing. So finally on week 3 they had to send their best carpenter and plumber to fix what others did. So after the bathroom was done I asked Allen for at least $1000 discount from everything that happened (good contractor would agree on that). He was hesitant at first, said things like that happen (yeah if I was paying $1000 and not $8300). He agreed for only 500 discount on bathroom and 500 on future work, who knows how much he will add to future work to compensate for that.

So we decided to use them again for kitchen which required less work, just countertops, plumbing and flooring, price was $5300 kitchen was completed in a week. Kitchen came out ok, but there were few hiccups, their counter top guy cut the granite for a sink that did not match and they had order another one which took 3 days and they blamed work on one another, counter top guy Dorin said that he doesnt install the support brackets for counter top and they said thats his job. So after the kitchen was done I asked Allen to fix minor damages that were done to drywall from demo. Allen replied that he would charge additional $350 to fix the drywall, they state in contract that repairs are not included after demo, so that basically says we can damage the drywall anyway we like and you will pay extra to fix. I used a 6 dollar can of spackling paste to fix the damages which took me 20 min and if they did the same thing I would of been satisfied, especially after we had a bad experience with bath, but they decided to scam you at the end.

I would stay away from this company for any remodeling needs.

I would not recommend this business. The owner had over 2 weeks to reply to my email and did not reply.
This business charges you for materials which I knew and is supposed to leave the excess with you but conveniently it was forgotten to leave all of the excess material they charged for. I had work done on 2 doors yet one of the doors is still not closing properly and I was advised that was the best they could do. It was never mentioned before work started that the door might be a challenge and still might not close properly.

I have to say I'm impressed.  Start to finish, very professional scheduling, reminding, and of course Abel who showed up on time, has a strong work ethic (rare these days), very kind, and got the job done.  We had 8 aging french doors that were in all sorts of stuck states and not quite working right.  He made them all glide like new and it was not an easy job.  Left me with some good tips on silicon spray and where to clean to keep things working better.  We do lots of work on houses, and have had plenty of excellent, terrible and mediocre service and workmanship.  I would without question request Abel to come do work again at my home.  Really appreciate it!!!

After my first successful and enjoyable project I decided to hire them again for some installation work. This day was a nightmare from minute one when Jonathan showed up LATE after calling me one hour prior to scheduled time. He completed the tasks under said time frame but it was costly nonetheless. When he was in his truck about to leave I stepped outside to check my trash can...sure enough he tossed all the non-working lights, fan, lightbulbs and caulking in my garbage can!
This is Hazardous Waste and I could have been fined (I had previously gotten notice from the City of Phoenix about bulk pick up that was not acceptable). This company should have had more common sense than me and take the old to dispose of...I had already paid to have junk removed. I will not recommend or be back with my money!  They tried to compensate but still was not satisfied with his unprofessionalism.

I had a number of projects to complete for a retail store before I could turn it over to the new tenant.  I had a great experience working with Greg.  The entire experience was good from estimating, scheduling and completing the work.  I'm very happy with how everything turned out.  I would highly recommend Handyman Connection.

Ken installed a doggie door at my house today and he was great! He came with many years of experience and was fair and honest and did quality work!

This company gets a high Five and did an excellent job on my drywall. I now have a company I can trust that will do excellent work. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs work done.

Shower completely renovated with new tile. Thank you to Allen for the expertise bidding and supervising. I am very grateful to Mark for a wonderful tile job.

Our home was struck by lightning and did some odd masonry damage. Abel came out and did a great job in returning that part of our home back to the way it looked before! I couldn't be happier with the service and response. Definitely recommend!!!

Greg is very knowledgeable, honest and reliable; he listens, understands and communicates well. He's cooperative about requests and gets things done in a timely manner.

Tried to use Handyman Connection again for 2 Rubbermaid outdoor, plastic, storage bins purchased on Amazon.  The bins you can keep towels, pool noodles, toys, etc. in for organization.  
We sent in a request and the response was very quick and efficient.  However, they wanted over $400 for less than an hours worth of a job with limited expertise needed.  We just didn't want to take the time and effort to assemble.  We realize using someone else's labor may be expensive BUT over $400 for non-technical "easy work" even if using someone licensed and bonded...that is a shame especially when we used the company last time (first time) and were so pleased.  Again, we know not the cheapest company but lets be a little more realistic with pricing.

We hired out to another handyman, completed in 50 minutes and good to go!  Happy to hire someone that was thrilled to have the business...again, not the cheapest but more realistic pricing for the assembly of what was being requested.

Jude Graham was fantastic.  Polite and competent.  My job was kind of little but important - he installed grab bars in my bathrooms.  I will be hiring him for more projects.

Tony was our Handyman and he did a great job!  He arrived on time- WOW- was courteous and a hard worker.
We have a sunken bar area at our pool and had purchased sheet metal to hang on the wall around the bar area.  He did a perfect job lining up and securing the metal and we love the final look.  I highly recommend Handyman Connection and Tony!  It is such a pleasure to have dependable and solid service!

We did not end up using Handyman Connection as their estimate was double what others quoted.  I did appreciate their communication, however.

I recently bought my first home and know nothing about repairs. When I needed a new front door, Tony from Handyman Connection was so helpful. He helped us figure out the measurements and told us what to order, then did a beautiful installation job. Even when he was thrown a few surprises regarding my front wall being wonky, he gave me options and ultimately managed to leave my front door in an even better place than before. Now I have a front door with no gaps and less dust and noise getting into my house. Thank you Tony and would highly recommend this company! In fact, I've already scheduled home improvement project #2!

I've used Handyman Connection many times over the past 4 years after they were referred to me by a friend. Tony has done a ton of projects for us from small ones like just swapping a light fixture to bigger projects that require running new electrical wiring and switches - he has completed all of them with care and gone above and beyond!

Everyone here from scheduling to project completion is always professional and friendly. They arrive on time for all appointments and the prices often beat other estimates.

I needed help after a shower leak that went into the kitchen.  I had a hard time getting anyone to give me quotes to fix the flooring, re install a cabinet in my kitchen and redo my shower.  Not an issue once I found Handyman Connection. I worked with Ali for an estimate and scope of work.  Everyone I encountered was great.  I never felt ripped off, talked down to or uncomfortable, as a female that's not common when it comes to this kind of work.  I am super happy with the work. Josiah was polite and did great work in both rooms and Rodrigo the same - he did the shower tiling.  Very happy with my experience.

Prompt attention to unscheduled projects, very well appreciated I've used them several times this year,  this time it was Tony Erosky last time it was Wylie, will call again.

I had the pleasure of working with my favorite handyman shop again on my new home, and Ron again did not disappoint.  Ron is still amicable, helpful, and does a solid job in various things that were thrown at him, and everything turned out great!  

Hanyman Connection as a company is again very professional and honest, offer estimates and stand by them.  I would strongly recommend!  The only downside is getting an appointment in the East Valley is difficult, and it's looking like 7 weeks out when I need Ron to come back again!

I needed to have two small sections of fence replaced.  One was about 14 feet while the other was about 17 feet.  I didn't realize how much of a challenge it would be to even get someone to come out to take a look at it.

It wouldn't have been so bad if folks would just say "sorry, but we're too busy to bid on a project that small."

I think if you were to ask Tony, the guy who did the job for me, he would probably disagree that there was anything "small" about this job.

I think Handyman Connection was the fifth or sixth business I tried to contact to do this work.  Tony was the first of three individuals to actually come out to bid.  He was also the only one of the three who sounded like he knew what he was doing.  You see, I know a lot about what needs to be done and how it needs to be done.  I have zero experience actually doing the work, and I'm really glad I didn't take this one on myself.

It ended up turning into a three day project because of some unforeseen circumstances, and Tony was still a champ honoring the original quote despite the extra time it took.  

When Tony did the estimate, I told him that I was the kind of guy who typically only liked to buy something once.  If I end up living out the rest of my days in this house, I don't ever want to replace the fence again.  He said he was going to do it with redwood.  Well crap.  I don't know what that means.  I know redwood is a durable hardwood, so I guess that's a good thing, right?

In fact, I wasn't even all that concerned with how good it looked as long as the construction was sound.  

I think the surprise I was in for was definitely beyond my wildest imagination.  At the unveiling, my initial though after looking at a dirty old brown fence for the last five years was "wow, that's bright.  And pink.  But everything in the desert is pink, so I guess it fits right in."

But here is the deal.  I could tell that Tony was proud of his work, but didn't want to sound like a blowhard by bragging it up.  He showed me a couple of things, like how he carved out one of the sides of the fence to ensure that it was plump against the adjacent wall that wasn't square.  It was pure attention to detail.

I sealed it up with Thompson Water Seal the next morning, and it did deepen the hue significantly so it's more of a rusty orange than the bright pink.  What's more is that as time goes along and I work around the fence (I have some pavers to redo now, which was to be expected), I'm coming to love it more and more.  This morning, when I watered my lawn for the first time since the fences went in, I truly think that it all kind of sunk in.  These fences that Tony built for me are so simple and yet beautiful, I feel that they deserve a photo to show them off.  

Besides, I have a feeling that Tony would want to see them after they had been sealed.  Once the grass regrows, my back yard is going to be freaking awesome.

I can install ceiling fans, but this one was a little more than what I wanted to take on.  Tall ceiling with a 5' downrod...not a big fan of heights.  I'll leave that one to the professionals.

Greg arrived on time, worked efficiently, and left the area cleaner than when he found it.  He took away the old fan and discarded the box and packaging for me.  All around great experience - would definitely recommend.

I got referred to Handyman Connection through my partner whose parents had used them for a bathroom remodel years ago. We collected a couple of estimates but decided to go with HC because of their competitive quote and their history of doing quality work.

I haven't done a home renovation project before but the first phase was a renovation of the master bathroom. Allen was great with communicating and after a visit to see the potential project he was able to give me a quote which he stuck to.

It took some time to gather all of the materials, but once that was set it didn't take long to schedule the start of work. Mark was the main person in charge of the remodel and he was very friendly, showed up on time every day at 7AM, and did high quality work. There were a couple of things that needed to be adjusted along the way but he made it easy to bring it up and address. He was also good with communicating with us about timelines which was helpful as we coordinated with city permit inspectors as work was completed. In the end we were extremely happy with the finished product.

Because of the great work that they did on the bathroom, we decided to have HC do the flooring and baseboards in the majority of the house. We're also quite pleased with the finished product there too and again there were no surprise costs compared to the original estimate.

I won't hesitate to recommend HC to anyone interested in a renovation and I'll certainly be coming back in the future for projects of my own.

Some months ago, we had them come out to estimate redoing a shower/tub job gone bad. They were one of four contractors we sought estimates from, and they were lower-middle in terms of cost. I strongly feel they gave us excellent value for our money.

Working with them has been easy and straightforward. We signed an agreement and wrote them a check for a 40% downpayment. Shelly at the office scheduled the project. Ric showed up on time everyday, had all the necessary equipment, and cleaned up everything before he left. He was friendly and I felt completely comfortable with him working in our home with myself and my infant. The project itself took 9 days to complete.  He did not rush and it was evident that quality was the priority. At the end of the project, I received a final invoice and paid via check for the remaining balance. There was no funny business or hidden charges or trying to finagle more money out of us.

Most importantly, our bathroom is beautiful! The shower is beautiful! I am thrilled with the results and excited to have our bathroom back together after literally months. Working with Ric and Handyman Connection has been a night and day difference from our previous experiences with remodeling this bathroom. We will be keeping Handyman Connection in our contacts and if we ever need more tile work, we are asking for Ric!

I saw one of their trucks in my neighborhood and snapped a picture of their number. I had extensive damage to an exterior door from water making its way under the door and into the walls of my house over time. I could of messed it up myself but decided I better call and see what they may charge to help replace the door and drywall/stud work. Tony was sent out to my house to give me an estimate of the work involved. He was out the next week and gave me an idea of what I needed to have done. I went ahead and scheduled the work, unfortunately so had everyone else and they were booked out almost a month. I'm happy to say Tony showed back up this week and replaced my damaged door, cut out the bad wood, Sheetrock and studs and replaced it all! His work was very thorough and he even let me bug him enough to learn what he was doing through the process. You can tell he takes pride in his work doing things the right way. This being my first experience with Handyman Connection, I am very pleased with the entire process from the estimate, booking, office scheduling and emails to keep me up to dat on what to expect through the entire process. I will recommend them to anyone who needs works done. Tony also made the entire process seamless, he is an asset to their company, Thank You!

Just had my small bath renovated by this company and it..is..beautiful !  Their craftsman, George Whitman, is a gem.  He not only answered all my questions, he also provided many valuable tips. Loved that Tony showed up in a mask, he was friendly, efficient & helped solve some electrical problems in my home. Will be using him again for any remaining repairs. I would recommend him to anyone who needs a handyman or someone to solve home problems. He did things the right way, but more importantly he explained everything he did making me feel at ease.

I have used Handyman Connection for a variety of home maintenance repairs. Most recently, Ken Kahrs was assigned to my house to repair four areas of dry wall damage (we had accumulated a few different projects over a year+ and finally had them all repaired at once). Ken was meticulous and careful. His work was absolutely perfect and the areas look as if there had never been any gaps or damage. I was concerned about closing a gap around a new light fixture because I wasn't convinced it could be fixed seamlessly but he fixed that perfectly as well. We were very impressed and would welcome him back any time.

I had a light fixture and a fan installed as well as a new door put in. Tony was the man. He did a great job with everything and is very trustworthy. The work was completed exactly as I wanted with little to no input from me after the initial description of what I wanted done. I will 100% use Handyman Connection again and highly recommend to anyone with projects large or small!

We recently had our guest bathroom remodeled with Handyman Connection and couldn't have asked for a better experience. Within 24 hours of calling the office, Allen (the owner) came over to check out the bathroom, and we had an estimate shortly thereafter. It was a little more than another quote we received, but we felt it was worth it - for several reasons, but mostly because we could get everything done with them. (The other company could not do countertops, and we'd have to contract with another company separately - not the case with Handyman Connection.)

Our bathroom was the complete 1995 special - a one-piece plastic shower/tub combo, hideous "tile" flooring ... you get the idea. They replaced the tub, added shower tile and replaced all the fixtures. They also tiled the floor, installed a new quartz countertop and replaced the vanity light. They consulted us for everything to make sure we loved it all.

Overall, we are extremely happy and would definitely work with Handyman Connection again.

Ron Sparks made a custom rolling spice drawer in my kitchen cabinet. He is an engineering genius! He is very detail oriented & very reliable. He also repaired some damaged drywall, in my garage. He demo'd out the damaged area; replaced the drywall & bull nose corner. Applied matching sparkle & painted the area. He did a terrific repair without any hint of the prior damage! Definitely appreciate his talents & work ethics!

Tony replaced four interior doors for us that a previous contractor had done a terrible job installing.  Tony was on time and did an excellent job on installing the doors, despite some product flaws he encountered during installation.   Our doors look fantastic!

A year ago, we had Handyman Connection help us renovate a bedroom for me. Mark C. was the man for the job and we were very impressed to say the least. Recently, we decided to remodel our bathroom. Since our experience with Mark C. was so good, we decided to request him specifically.

Mark C. is never late. He was on-time every single day and he was extremely respectful of our home, family, and pets. He cleans up after each day and makes our home look better than what it was before he started. Mark C. has a skill set that is truly masterful and polished. He communicates updates, changes, and general expectations as well as guides us with knowledgeable recommendations to accommodate our ideas. Handyman Connection is very lucky to have this excellent craftsman on board. He's a champ!

Another good experience; appreciated how Jonathan was efficient, friendly and capable of doing all the various tasks needed and able to provide insights.

This is our 3rd time using Handyman Connection & this time we were assigned Mark Clay to complete our project! He has just completed tearing out a gas fireplace & the surrounding area that went from floor to ceiling. Mark knew it was going to be challenging due to the gas line & called George (the expert plumber) from the company to remove that part. They worked as a great team, with a lot of knowledge between the two of them. He then had to drywall & texture the wall, then paint.  I added additional painting jobs, which he did beautifully!  Mark knows many tricks of the trade and is definitely a master craftsman! I would highly recommend him & will call him in the future for any other jobs I need done. Thank you so much for making my idea become a reality!

I recently worked with Ray at Handyman Connection to complete a project (remotely) that involved several issues - siding, paint, roof, and gutter work. Ray was great in providing ideas on how to solve the problems, sending pictures of the work along the way, and giving updates on how long the process would take given a set back one day due to rain. In the middle of the project, he suggested that a gutter be installed to remedy some drainage issues so that we wouldn't have to make the same repairs in a few years time. He provided an updated estimate for his time and was thorough in providing final details on what had been done to resolve the issues. I'd highly recommend Ray and will definitely use him again on any new project that arises.

Decided to go with Handyman Connection for a bathroom remodel project after getting a very fair estimate from Ali. Basically demo'd a small shower and toilet bathroom and start from scratch. Ali, the project leader also, came around occasionally, did the replumb on the shower and install a faucet and two toilets and did some other things above and beyond as well  All the tile guys (3 total) did a fantastic job putting in and repairing some other tiles around the house (including a couple  saltillo tiles on the patio no charge). The glass mosaic tile in the shower looks amazing, along with the new curb and niche installed. Everyone involved was very courteous, prompt (mostly) and very efficient, and wore masks when appropriate. Since I supplied most of the materials, tile and fixtures, I got out just paying labor and some materials for around 6k (not bad at all for a two week job basically. Although I missed a $500 Valpack coupon  I could have applied after I paid. DOH!). Overall, much better, in my case, than paying a contractor probably twice as much! I absolutely recommend this company for any size project.Thanks everyone at Handyman Connection, well played!

I had Tony E. come to my residence yesterday morning to repair an exterior "man" door on my garage, not an overhead door. He was prompt, professional, courteous and very pleasant to talk with.  It certainly didn't take long and my problematic door/doorjam/threshold was squared away in short order.  Won't hesitate to look to him for future work about the property.

One of our bathroom shower heads was leaking and just not working at all. As a result, we haven't used that shower in a year. Tony from Handyman Connection arrived on time, was super professional and was in and out in about 10 min, and did such great work. The shower works great now. Would highly recommend this service and Tony!

Called to have someone help us hang a bunch of pictures. The office was very helpful and accommodating. They ended up calling me back to arrange an appointment on an earlier day. Joe did the work for us and he did an AMAZING job! Each picture was hung perfectly. He was on time, communicative and professional. He also didn't mind my two small children underfoot and even changed a lightbulb I couldn't reach. I will definitely be using Handyman Connection again!

Justin and Ryan came to my home to remove some stone flooring that had been done several years ago on an uneven floor that resulted in a large lip on one of the tiles. Not an easy job, but they worked together and Justin very laboriously worked until he got the replacement stone perfectly even and flat. He had to chip up and replace five 18"x18" pieces of stone in the middle of others already laid and get them all to fit like they'd always been there. Since I've done tiling myself, this was no easy job on a very uneven concrete subfloor, and I'm very impressed with the results.

They also removed some very old tile on the sidewalk outside of my front door so I could replace it with something I liked. Again, great job.

They were both very professional, wore masks the whole time they were in my home.

I put off replacing my toilets forever. If I had known it would be this easy I would have done it long ago. Tony picked up my new ones, replaced and hauled off the old ones. He was a pleasure to work with and he did a great job. Highly recommend, I will be using this business again in the future.

Tony Erosky did an incredible job on every item we needed installed/repaired! We had house a mailbox removed, a new box and post installed, new house numbers, four outlets moved/added, two ceiling fans installed, a flush mount light installed, a door secured, and a previous alarm system keypad removed. Everything was completed to the highest standard and I greatly appreciate how CLEAN he kept his workspace. He was kind, professional, and thorough. I feel like I've found my new neighborhood handyman! We will definitely contact Handyman Connection and Request Tony for any job we have in the future.

Wonderful to get a pleasant, timely and skilled craftsman! Tony was just a treat! Right on time, and so personable. But most importantly, he got the job done that we needed done quickly and cleaned up leaving our laundry room in great shape with new light fixtures! What a terrific experience!

Thank Goodness! So grateful. Ken was on time professional, polite and friendly, and did a perfect
job. I would have given the company 5 stars, since everything was so good, especially Ken. He caulked the tub expertly. And cleaned up afterward.
But the original estimate was $150 just to remove old caulking and Re caulk. But Ken was able to do the job for the minimum cost of $95.
This is a reliable professional business. ( if you can afford it.) It can be obviously pretty pricey. I would like to have more work done by Ken but I am afraid of the cost. I am a retired social worker, a breast cancer survivor on social security. Life is good. But I have to watch my costs closely each month. Thanks to Ken for a great job. !

Tony Erosky was amazing! He obviously had years of experience- in our case we had a new ceiling fan installed, our old one died.  He installed the new one, and immediately said, it's defective!  No way I would have known, it looked and spun fine - but turns out the inside motor was wonky and he said it would have gone out of balance in a few months, and that I should return and get another new, which I did! He came back to install the replacement, another model, because - HD had stopped carrying the other model! a design flaw?  But TONY KNEW! Another thing that impressed me : I had to leave so I left a check before he finished.  HE DID NOT TAKE MY PAYMENT. NOT until he came a week later, to install a proper new working fan. Very impressed with his honesty. Experience, professionalism. Definitely ask for Tony if he's not too busy! Handyman Connection is permanently in my phone now  for all handyman jobs! We have Rental plus our residence and it is almost constant,.

I had an appointment scheduled with Anthony E. and he was on time as scheduled did a great job with replacement of a kitchen faucet and sliding glass bedroom closet door. I would use Handyman Connection services again for additional planned work.

I recently used Handyman Connection to do a kitchen and bathroom remodel.  I have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the work they performed and their overall customer service.  Here are just a few highlights with my experience:

(1) They were able to provide an immediate and competitive quote for the services performed, allowing me to understand what the 'all-in' cost would be, including labor costs materials (the final cost actually came in slightly under the estimate!).  In addition, they were able to recommend specialists that assisted with picking out materials (i.e. tile, granite counters, etc) that were needed for the project.
(2) The communication with Handyman Connection was exceptional.  I was informed exactly when each service contractor would be arriving and how long the overall process would take to complete.  
(3)  The quality of the finished remodel project exceeded all my expectations.

I highly recommend using Handyman Connection, as I certainly will on any future projects!

I contacted Angie's List for kitchen remodel suggestions, and came across Handyman Connection. When calling to schedule a serviceman for a quote, I remember the receptionist answering the phone was very polite and cordial! Allen arrived to my home to give me an in person quote and complete some measurements. After a month or so, I finally narrowed down my choices from other quotes received for my projects. Allen was kind enough to reach back out to me about getting my project done. Dave arrived to my home, and completed the job very professional and thorough!!! I'm very happy to say I got my project completed (new lighting in my kitchen), and I'm absolutely thrilled with the outcome.

Found Handyman Connection through a Nextdoor post. Our Nest doorbell was installed correctly, but the chime wouldn't ding when the doorbell was pushed, so we had to rely on our phones to notify us. Tony came out and spent a while checking the wires. When that didn't reveal anything, he took the time to climb up in the attic and crawl through insulation to find our transformer, which was buried in the attic above our kitchen (we had no clue). He replaced it and now everything functions as it should. Tony was a hoot to work with and did honest work at a fair price. We'll be calling them again for our next project.

I've used this service for years.  Our current craftsman, Ron Sparks, is someone on whom we can always count to do quality work for the many projects that he's completed around our 47-year-old house.  While many repairs and upgrades are still needed, we're confident that Ron's expertise will resolve our issues in a timely and professional manner -- working with Ron and Handyman Connections' craftsmen has eliminated a lot of stress that arose from lost time and wasted money that we've experienced with previous companies.  Ron is licensed and bonded in just about everything that we could need, so we're very confident in both his knowledge and his demonstrated skills.  One final note is that Handyman Connection is very conscientious about sending out only experienced people as we noticed early-on before we became acquainted with Ron; even so, he's the best as far we're concerned.  It's no wonder that even during Covid in 2020, Handyman Connection was still high in demand because of the value and quality to which their company is dedicated.  Thanks, Ron Sparks, for your superior service and patience with all of our project needs! -- Ron and Karen Morse, Ahwatukee (Phoenix), Arizona.

Ken was so kind and helpful, I would request him again! He was quick and friendly :) He did 2 faucets and a door lock for me and it was quite affordable.

David D. completed my project of replacing the garage side door frame. His work skills and professionalism was spot on, no complaints.  The only question was the cost otherwise my review would be 5 stars.

We had Handyman Connection out to our house to do two tasks 1) replace the double doors and frame to our HVAC closet outside, 2) reinstall the blinds in our child's room (that two other companies had attempted to do, but had failed).  

They sent out Tony and he did a PHENOMENAL job!!!  Not only did he replace the doors to our HVAC closet, he also rerouted our AC drainage line that we have had issues with flooding in our house for years (and not to mention have had multiple AC companies out to fix with no success). He was also able to reinstall the blinds, which was no easy task after all of the damage caused to the window frame by the previous people.  

We couldn't be happier with the fast, friendly, perfection level of service provided! We have used Handyman Connection before and will continue to use them for years to come! Thank you!!

Installation of our bathroom vanity and install of two faucets and fixing up the cabinet. Tony was so great. He showed up on time and fixed everything perfectly. If Ron gives you an estimate on a project just know it will turn out exactly how you want it.  He took time to be sure he was creating the bookcase I wanted down to every detail.  He was always very professional and when he said he would be here......he was!  I would strongly recommend Ron for any woodworking project you may have.

So disappointing! I took the afternoon off of work to be home for their estimate and they cancelled my appointment at the last minute.

I understand that emergencies come up and schedules change so I tried to reschedule my estimate for the following week for which they told me they were "booked" and wouldn't even do a courtesy to fit me in on a day that would work with my schedule.

So disappointing!

After having a nightmare contractor for some other projects, Allen and Ali at HC were a breath of fresh air. Prompt communication and estimate. Transparent with what was being covered or added. Price quoted is what we paid for and was comparable to other quotes we received. Plus, they were able to take care of everything we wanted. The bathroom remodel they did is by far of higher quality than the other bathroom we had done by another contractor. The communication was excellent and our opinions were always asked throughout the project. Allen was great but even better was who was actually doing the work, Ali. He came on time every single day. He was thorough, polite, meticulous, and so easy to get along with. We had full trust he knew what he was doing and he gave us good insight in what would work for our layout. Hands down he was the best guy to work with. We did a full bath remodel (full demo with changing footprint of shower, removing drop in tub and replacing with freestanding, new cabinets/countertops/fixtures, removal of old linen cabinet and building of new linen closet, tile, etc). Can't wait to use them again for another project!  Thanks guys!

I have to take a moment to rave about Justin. My sister and I recently moved into my moms old condo to help her out with the mortgage, and it was not left in the best condition. Justin came in and saved the day. He was such a gentleman and took his time making sure that all the projects I needed done were finished with care and expertise. I will definitely be calling Handyman Connection and asking for Justin in the future. It feels nice knowing there is someone I can trust to take care of our home.

I had Justin come out to replace a bathroom sink and patch a hole in my dry wall. He was great through the entire process. He showed up exactly on time and was very respectful of my house, being careful not to damage anything and keeping the work areas clean. Everything looks great. I'll be calling this company again the next time I need some work done.

I had them redo the flooring in both of my bathrooms and they did a fantastic job.  They came out and gave a good quote, the craftsman arrived on time and was very professional.  My floors look great, I am going to have them install french doors for me next.  I highly recommend.

I had some woodpecker damage to my stucco on my home thats a rental property.
After having the damage fixed twice by a stucco company, I reached out to the Handyman connection to hang some woodpecker deterrents (ie hanging cds on fishing line). I was told that this wasnt a problem and they would be happy to do the job.  Small job, should have been quick easy, and fast money for them.

Handyman connection made the appt. and I scheduled it with my tenant to make sure they were home so no time was lost and the job got done.  

One the handyman showed up, he appeared confused since he thought he was there to repair stucco.  Um, what part of deterrent didnt they understand??  So he walked away from the job not understanding what was to be done.

I followed up with the handyman connection today. Girl read back the notes in the system to me and she was confused also as to why this wasnt done. She then says, let me call you back...10 min later the call comes in and Im now told "this isnt a job we would take"...you have to be kidding me! After all of this back and forth and now this?

You get an F and I wouldnt recommend them to anyone!

The work was fine, the price was not. That's my fault, not theirs. I needed a toilet installed in a hurry and this company did the job fine and the new toilet works. After 80 min of work, I was presented with a bill for $300.  No other handyman I have ever used charges that much. Again, my fault for not checking that first.  Be weary of the prices this company charges for handyman work.

Very friendly and fast with the work. Ron did an amazing job for me and I am very satisfied with what he has delivered.

They never contacted me I came into y'all today and I don't know months after the chair was put together that I was requesting they said well I'm not able to do the service they're lost the guy took under an hour and I gave him 60 bucks if he would have done it cuz money's too important to the other

We needed a new gate for our backyard/alley.  Jonathan came out and gave us an estimate to build the gate and we decided to have him do the work.  When it came time to get materials, the lumberyard did not have the product we needed available.  (Jonathan and I both had previously talked with them about the product and they assured us they had it.)  Since the lumber was not available, we were going to have to postpone the project however, Jonathan went above and beyond, found out who the supplied the lumber yard, drove to the supplier and purchased the lumber!  Furthermore, because he got a late start, he was here until almost 8 pm that evening to finish the job which turned out absolutely awesome.  Will definitely have him back and wish I could give 10 stars!

Called in for an appointment to get an estimate on painting my garage doors and changing the moldings. They were very accommodating and set up Greg to come down the next day to look at the work and then provide an estimate. Greg came down, we discussed what needed to be done and he committed to get back to me before the end of the day with an estimate. That was on a Thursday at 1:00 PM. I never heard anything from Greg or Handyman Connection. On Monday late afternoon I called Handyman Connection to let them know I had never heard back from Greg. They were apologetic and offered to call Greg to see what had happened. I told them not to bother. If getting an estimate is untimely and no communications are made subsequent to a first meeting, then it's typically downhill from there.

UPDATE: Shelly, whom I spoke with in the office, apparently called Greg after my call. She e mailed me an estimate for the work, along with a $100.00 Double Coupon Discount. I responded that I would not be doing this or future business with Handyman Connection. Again, the estimate process should be painless and quick.

The company was very professional and the tech Jason did a very good job. I gave them a three star because they ended up charging me almost twice what I was told on the phone. When I made the appointment and told the woman what I needed, she said it would likely be the minimum of $95 and that was all. When Jason arrived he said he had to call in for a quote which surprised me. He came back and said it was $200 which included a $25 discount. Double what I was told. Jason was nice enough to call them again after he saw how upset I was and I got another $25 discount. It was still way more than I anticipated so I won't be using them again.

I had a front entrance door that was rubbing against the door frame. The craftsman that came out was very friendly and said that he would replace a screw in the top hinge . He first tried a screw that would not go flush against the hinge. He then got two screws from his truck. He then took out another screw from the hinge and replaced two screws . These screws where both different in sizes the longer was close to 2" the other about an inch. It didn't do much good and he recommended placing another screw into the jam on the latch side . I declined to let him do that. Based on what I observed when he started tightening my screw hinges. He was using a drill and not a screw driver. When I questioned him on this he replied that it would not strip out the screws . After he left I checked the screws he replaced and they are  all stripped. They will not tighten at all. The screws had no issues before this and they all would tighten. Now I have stripped out screws and my door is still now adjusted correctly.

In response to the reply from this contractor: The reason there wasn't a charge is because I had called to have you come out a couple of weeks ago and nobody showed up or called. So when I called the office they told me that the manager had failed to put me on the schedule in the computer. So no it wasn't a courtesy.

When we spoke yesterday you said you could send Jay back out but on one else due to my vicinity. You also stated there would be a charge . I will be moving forward with a complaint to the BBB and the registrar of contractors . I had a reputable door company come out today and confirmed that the screws to the door hinges have become stripped out due to your service tech that came out yesterday.

We had some drywall repair done in a few different spots by Ken. I highly recommend Ken for his expert workmanship and friendly demeanor.

Wow, what else can I say! I've been getting quotes on project that needed to be done in my house and they were by far the most competitive and professional. They came when they said they would come and even let me know when they were on their way. Dave was beyond pleasant and talked me through the whole process. I'm definitely going with them for this project and will use them for a couple other projects that I have planned.

They did a complete gut & remodel of our guest bath.  Our team of Tony, Mike, Brandon, Tracy and Ron did what can only be described as a perfect job in this remodel.  Not only was each man professional at his specialty, but they each had interesting personalities so it was fun (no really!) having them in our home. Each called prior to arrival every day to confirm when they'd be there; they were always on time.

Allen, the owner, was super easy to work with and is quite the ringmaster of this very impressive show. Highly recommended!

I've used Ken Kahrs on (2) occassions and he was very friendly and on-time and cleaned up after!!! i will be using him again for various projects as they come up! plus the price per hour is reasonable and they don't try to overcharge which i like!

I contacted Handyman Connection for the installation of a security screen door.  Wiley arrived on time and was exceptional.  I highly recommend the company and the individual.  If the rest of their providers are as good as Wiley, you can't you go wrong with the Handyman Connection.

Dave from HC was literally the best handyman I've ever used! He was VERY professional, reasonably priced, and did an amazing job! He installed cabinet hardware for me, 2 faucets and fixed several drywall patches for me. Very impressed and will use HC and Dave again for all of my future projects!

We've had wonderful experiences with Handyman Connection. We talked to Lana recently and she took great care of us - treated us just like family! She lined us up with Tony Erosky and we couldn't be happier! Tony did everything from plumbing to electrical, and some of the projects were pretty challenging. He was amazing - the quality of his work is really top notch. His work ethic is so right on, "do the work as if you're doing it for your own family". He was very knowledgeable, intelligent, clean, courteous and communicated well. We are really looking forward to having Tony and Handyman Connection do more work at our place. "........Handyman Connection also offers a free, written estimate before any work is performed.  All of our work comes with a one year warranty, if there is a problem with the work, we are always willing to fix it at no additional charge.  In this case the customer requested that we give them a partial refund and let them hire another service to repair the problem.  We were happy to do that for this customer."

Well, let me tell you, if you complain about the work, the jerk that is in charge will simply tell you that you WILL PAY UP or you will have a mechanic's lien slapped on your house!!!! There was no conversation as described, "You have a one year warranty, please let us know if you have a problem." YEAH.......NOT!!!!

I was ONLY offered a measly $200 discount if I agreed not to contact Angie's List!! It cost me HUNDREDS of dollars MORE to fix the MESS that I was left with, and I got a $200 discount????

We were offered an up front estimate, BUT we had NO idea that HOME DEPOT was doing DOING the MAJORITY of the construction!!! So, THEREFORE, we were OVERCHARGED for construction that WAS NOT performed by Handyman Connection!!!!!! Not only that, but Handyman Connections had to ONLY install the PRE-BUILT by Home Depot double doors (frame already built too) and FAILED to do it properly!!!!

So unfortunate that the office does not support their handyman in the field.  I wanted to use Tim as a handyman but have been waiting for a quote to move an ice maker etc... his "support" system in the office is not prepared to get timely quotes to clients.  Does quote "in between calls".   Does not appear that new business is a priority.

Called with a new client and wanted to use Tim the repair guy, and they could not make that happen even thought the jobs are 5.9 miles apart.  

Very solid repairman in Tim.  Very awful customer service and terrible office support.

Jonathan came right on time and was thorough in examining the job site. He asked questions to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted. Then he gave us a detailed description of the work and the price. Very professional.

Our handyman Greg was great. He called prior to arrival and arrived on time, he did a great job replacing wood on the eaves of our patio and got it ready for painting. He also did an excellent job replacing drywall on the ceiling in our bathroom which was damaged from a water leak from the air conditioner condensation tray in our attic. It looks like it did when we moved in, no sign of there ever being water damage. He was amazing, this was our second time calling on them to do work around our house. Great service. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing work done.

Tony was amazing, he not only showed up early, but went over my tasks, took care of them quickly, and offered me a great solution and sage advice for a problem with one of my ordered items that did not fit. He was efficient, friendly, helpful and kind.  A true treasure, as was the female scheduler that assisted me, I cannot recommend Tony or Handyman Connection in Phoenix high enough.  Would be delighted to have Tony's services again and I am already trying to schedule me next appointment. Jonathon did an amazing job with remolding both of our bathrooms. The quality of his work and that of Raul who did our tile work was amazing. It all turned out so beautiful it is better than I dreamed of. I truly appreciated Jonathon's help with the design. He is extremely friendly and no question went unanswered. We could not have asked for a better Contractor. We have already recommended him to 2 of our friends.

You get what you pay for.  Not the cheapest remodeler, but the job was done correctly and completed on time, making it worth every penny.  The service is top notch, from the initial visit by Jonathan, to the quote by Allen, to the scheduling by Shelly, to the actual work done by Tony.  I was kept in the loop the entire time, and Shelly called or emailed anytime they needed a clarification.  Thank you all for the terrific work!

This is the second time I've used Handyman Connection for a major renovation project, plus we've had them do a few odd jobs over the years. All of our experiences with them have been great. This time we had tile laid in two bathrooms, an old shower pulled out and a new one built in it's place, plus some toilets replaced. The handyman, Todd, was very friendly and professional, and he did a great job. Allen kept in touch every step of the way and made sure things got done right. There were a couple of hiccups along the way, as is expected whenever you do a major renovation, but Todd made the right suggestions and everything got sorted out quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommended Handyman Connection. In fact, they're in the process of doing some more work for us right now.

Would give 4.5 stars if I could.  Hired Handyman Connection to remodel our small bath.  They took out a tub and created a walk-in shower.  They also, retiled the entire bathroom, added new vanity w/mirror and install new sink and shower faucet.  Used different contractors for different parts of the job, which wasn't ideal, but worked out fine. Allen was great to work with on price, etc. Only complaint is the guy that did the tile work didn't speak English, so he was harder to communicate with.  Allen even had someone come back out and touched up my doors, which was fantastic!

Used Handyman Connection to have a bridge made. It came out perfect. A year later, I noticed some of the wood had rotted. Called owner, Allen Hopkins. He listened, sent someone out, who replaced rails with cedar wood. Looks great!

I had a screen door replaced and after Lowe's installers didn't want to do the job, I went to Handyman C. because I needed it done right away.  Handyman came out quickly and on time and the job was done right.  Will be calling on them in the future since I can see more jobs in the future.

I had Handyman Connection come out to assist with my kitchen remodel. With having an older home and being on a strict, they helped make my dreams come true. Not only were they dependable, they are trustworthy. The best part was that the finish product turned beautiful and I didn't even have to lift a finger. I would use them again for any future help that I need.

We had Handyman Connection come out and give us a quote for a kitchen backsplash and some tile work in our master bath. Joe had given us our quote and we had two other companies come out before we called Handyman Connection and while one company was higher and other was slightly less Joe made us feel very comfortable in knowing that the job will be done right. And man was he right !!! Not only does our kitchen now look incredible but the minor details he did in the tile work in our master bath is truly amazing. Love my new shower.  49 year old shower demo'd down to the studs - a complete remodel.  All contractors were excellent - the tile crew Daniel and Rick, Tim the plumber, and Jonathan installed the door.  Allen the owner and office staff Shelly and Lana were all great to work with and ensured complete satisfaction, I AM.  Love taking a shower now, recommend.

I've had them do one other job of installation of a garbage disposal ( i had a coupon) and they did just fine. So I called them to come out and replace a valve on a leaking toilet. Thank goodness they give you an estimate first as it was for 190.00 to replace that valve. The technician said it was because they had to go to Home Depot and buy the valve. WHAT!!!  I told them when I made the appt what the problem was and that they'd need a valve. Why should I have to pay for them to be inefficient and not have basic supplies with them or to come prepared to install the valve when i had told them what it was. The technician said it would be half that amount of I had the valve, again...WHAT!! You're charging me 80.00 to go to HD and buy a valve.  Never will I call them again, they are not professional at all. I've had business dealings with numerous handymen and never have they done this. It would less expensive to call a plummer, who carries his supplies with him, to do the repair. what a waste of my time. And I felt sorry for the technician, who was very nice, because it wasn't his fault but the company's.
I gave them 2 not one star because of the previous job that they did well.

I had a significant hole in my stucco after a leak.  I dealt with two companies that dealt with stucco repair and each of them quoted me outrageous prices.  With some research online I came across this company and I promise you they are legit.  Extremely professional, punctual on appointment, very reasonably priced; and did a fantastic job repairing my stucco.   I had the pleasure of dealing with Ron and highly recommend him.

I hired handyman connection a few months  back to do some odds and ends around the house ( light fixtures, new hardware on the kitchen and bathroom cabinets ) once I saw how efficient and on top of things they were I decided to have them redo my whole master bathroom and man was I impressed, not only were the workers very friendly and clean around my house but the owner Allen was amazing and was there for any and all questions and concerns we had. Hi from Mark in Saint Louis.  I made an appointment with Handy Man Connection to get two doors replaced.  They took down all my information and made an appointment for this past Monday at 9 AM.  Prior to that I got an email confirming the appointment.  No call, no show.  I contacted the company to find out why and "Shannon" emailed me back saying they were a no show as they did not have my correct phone number, "someone" must have written it down wrong.  They had the right address and time but won't show up unless they can call.  They did offer to reschedule, which I declined.  Please avoid this poor quality company at all costs.

Handyman Connection recently completed our master bathroom and kitchen remodel. They were recommended by a friend of ours after they remodeled her master bathroom. We are beyond impressed with their professionalism, reliability, and craftsmanship. Allen, the owner, met with us on numerous occasions before work even started. He was quick to respond to all of our questions, and guided us in the right direction. We received an estimated cost of the remodel upfront. As work started, we added additional items to the project. Allen ensured we discussed all costs and approved them before the additional work was completed. He was reasonable and fair throughout the entire process. He came by our home several times during the remodel and checked in with us to ensure we approved several details of the project. Additionally, it was clear that he supports his employees, as he spoke highly of them and brought our contractor lunch. Mark was our contractor and we could not have been more pleased with his demeanor, work ethic, and craftmanship. He showed up on time every day and he worked hard. He consulted with us throughout the entire project (our preference) and offered his professional opinion, helping us make decisions about details. When an unforeseen electrical problem arose, Handyman Connection addressed the issue immediately so our project would not delayed.  When Mark finished the job, our bathroom and kitchen design looked exactly as we had imagined. We had four or five small jobs that we needed done after a recent home inspection for the sale of our house.

Dave from Handyman Connection was great.  Charged us exactly what he quoted us.  He made sure during and after each job he did to explain what he did and how he did it.

They were on time, professional and reasonably priced.  Not only that, they were a one stop shop.  Instead of having to hire an electrician and a plumber, we just called Handyman.

It gets hard as a single lady to knock out some of the simple jobs that a man around the house would be good for.

I love the service- They are professional, honest and a good value. Making an appt is easy, the come do a free estimate and then if you want the work done, charge a fee for service and whatever the cost of supplies/parts are. NO mark up.

I recommend them all the time to the household that lacks the fix it skills in house and always hear good feedback. I am happy to say that I always feel that fix only what is needed, recommend without pressure any additional work, and fix and clean up quickly.

I would HIGHLY  recommend getting quotes from other handyman services, before signing on the dotted line.    

Several months ago, I was charged $250 to replace a toilet handle and adjust a door latch.... what?  15 minutes of their time??   Unfortunately,  someone in my office signed the proposal acceptance in my absence, so I had to pay the full amount. When I called to complain that I felt that I was overcharged, I received an apology and an assurance it would not happen again.

I called yesterday, in light of their previous apology,  to schedule someone to come in today to hang 6 magazine holders in my office.   When the handyman arrived, we were given an estimate of $375, but with a 'good customer' discount of $50.  So, now $325 for 20 minutes of their time?    

I understand that I'm also paying for their expertise, but this was not rocket science or hard labor.  Yes, I could have done it myself, but felt that with my schedule, it would be worth hiring someone for the convenience.  But, convenience is NOT worth almost $1000 an hour!!!  

I don't know if they felt it was OK to mark-up the fees since the service was for a business, but I would be VERY wary of them wasting my time giving me a quote to work on my home.

Fair is fair and in my opinion, they are not.

I recently used Handyman Connection to do a 2 bathroom remodels and several miscellaneous items around our house that we just purchased.  Things that make Handyman Connection stand out is there up front pricing, experience and no hassle approach.

WIth handyman connection, you truly get what you pay for.  All of their quotes included accurate materials estimates and there labor costs never exceeded what was proposed initially.

In both bathrooms that they did, they never once cut any corners.  Some examples of this are putting the red guard down (prevents moisture from seeping through), redoing things if they weren't happy with them and doing walk through's with myself and my wife every step of the way to make sure we were satisfied.

Allen Hopkins is the person we dealt with at Handyman connection and he always answered the phone, returned calls promptly and answered the millions of questions we had along the way without any hesitation.  He truly cared that our bathroom turned out exactly the way we wanted it to.

They sent a new person to fix the other employees poor workmanship on the dog door. New person did an excellent job.

We used this company to install a dog door.  Our guy was on time, did a great job and even went over and above by also fixing our sliding glass door at no extra charge.  I would definitely use this company again.

First of all, let me say I'm all in favor of DIY projects or repairs!  With that being said, I am not comfortable attempting a household repair or project if I don't know what I'm doing.  I don't like the idea of experimenting on my house and I know (from experience) that not doing things right the first time can end up very expensive in the long run.  Also, I like to be able to hold people accountable if the job isn't done correctly, and that is very hard to do when a "friend" offers to do the job and then happens to screw it up.

I have used Handyman Connection a few times and have had great experiences each and every time.  The very first time was to install a dog door for Bailey from the house to the back yard.  Best $250 I ever spent (that includes the price of the door itself).  I've also had some dry wall repair done and that went well too!

Usually, the first call to make the appointment, I have spoken with a very nice woman that is pleasant and easy to talk to.  Then the person scheduled to do the work will call to confirm and work out a more specific time.  They show up, give you a free estimate, and then offer to complete the work right then and there.  I really like that if I don't want to do the work (which has yet to happen) I'm not out any money, however, if I do want to pay for the service, I don't have to call and reschedule.

Everyone from this company has been very nice and professional.  I usually get a follow up call from the office to make sure the work was completed to my satisfaction and I've even received a survey or two.  Also, there are always coupons in various mailers and even on their website.  Just mention the online coupon and they will usually honor it.

I tell everyone I know to call Handyman Connection for all of their household projects or repairs that might be just out of the DIY range.

I used HC for installing a new door and putting a dog door in it.  They bought all the materials, got it done on time and under estimate. Rob was super helpful, honest and reliable.  I will use them again for a few more projects I have down the road for sure. I was out of town during the work and trusted Rob to be in my home while we were away.  I felt very secure with the staff and was impressed with the quick and professional communication along the way.  Great work and great service!!!

We are buying a home in Chandler, AZ, and asked this company to  meet us at the house to give us individual quotes on some changes we want.    The 'craftsman' came and for over an hour we went through want we needed to get done, ex: remove cabinet over stove and install tile back splash and vented hood, replace window with a door to backyard, remove a block construction island from backyard, pour an 8' x 10' concrete pad for an above ground spa, replace carpet with hardwood flooring.  The individual measured and took copious notes - about 6 pages worth.

We then waited for over two weeks for a quote. We allowed for one week without response, then started calling, we were told the quote was being typed, then it was been reviewed, then that there was an item that needed further clarification, we asked to leave that item out.  

We got a call 19 days later only to be told they would pass on the job because it was out of their scope because it was one major job and they would refer us out to another company.   We do not understand how the smaller individual jobs described above were out of their scope.  When we made the appointment they asked for a brief explanation of the work required and they confirmed it was the type of work they do.

This is all very frustrating and disappointing, we are from out of state, and when we met them it was a small window of opportunity given that we had traveled for the home inspection.  

I had researched contractors and Handyman Connection appeared to have a good reputation.  Now that i see what other Yelpers have to say, I was misguided.

Based on previous positive experiences with Handyman Connection, I recently hired them to perform a number of tasks at my home in anticipation of putting it on the market. My wife and I rearranged our schedules as well as those of other contractors to accommodate Handyman Connection. Due to the company's scheduling error, the contractor failed to show up for one appointment, forcing us to reschedule. The handyman was then unable to make it to the second appointment, and the company was unable to reschedule any of their contractors to work that day. Bottom line: when Handyman Connection's contractors show up, they do a good job. The bad news: the company doesn't appear committed to ensuring that the work is done in a timely fashion. Disappointing.

We used Handyman Connection's services due to high ratings on Angie's List.  We are so glad we called them.  Steve V and Anthony came into our commercial office building to assess our issue.  We had a small job for them to do.  We had some soap dispensers in our restrooms that were not secured properly under the sinks.  They assessed the situation and jumped on it!  They quoted us a very reasonable price and came back the next day to do the job.  They were very professional and very experienced.  I had a nice lengthy conversation with Steve V afterwards and he's a great guy! He knows his "stuff" and definitely has great customer service.  We will definitely call Handyman Connection for any "handy" jobs that we will need done in the future and request Steve V!

This is the best place to find a handyman for household help and repair.  I recently called HC and they sent Bob who really took care of all my household mishaps and repair needs.

Bob was not only qualified and capable, but pleasant and sincere.  I wouldn't go anywhere else (the next time something breaks down in my house!)...which I hope isn't too soon, but inevitable, right?  You won't go wrong with Handyman Connection.

First off, I will say that the new pocket doors are installed, look good, and function as they are supposed to. That's not the issue. What it took to get to this point IS the issue, and was hardly a pleasant walk in the park. We are generally agreeable people, and felt we got taken advantage of because we both have some background in construction and know certain delays can happen. Did they do all the work they were quoted to do? Sure. But they were S-L-O-W.

The original person that was sent to price the job was knowledgeable, friendly but quiet, and seemed to understand exactly what was said when certain considerations were mentioned with regard to either door. He quoted us a 2 day job. I expected a 2 day job. Then they changed our 'craftsman' to someone else, and things went downhill. These guys are nice and polite, but overall the experience has been rather unpleasant considering the amount of time it's taken.

Putting aside the basic lack in punctuality where they couldn't seem to arrive at the scheduled time, it's also taken four days to install TWO pocket doors. I will concede that 1 day was necessary since the doors were special order and required waiting for delivery, but the other three days have been ridiculous. And the work completed in all 4 days, doors present or not, could have been done in 2 at the most, had there been any attention to detail and a general care for professionalism.

Day 1 should have just been a wash in general, because we didn't even have the pocket door frame. They should have come in and talked to us about the frame, ordered it and then picked up for the next day while we ordered the rest of the materials for the job. Instead, they arrived late and stayed till 2 so they could order and pick up the pocket door frame hardware. In that span of time they managed to take the sheetrock off the wall on one side of each doorway, and removed the studs in only one wall.

Day 2 they arrived late because they went to pick up the materials we had purchased, which added time to their arrival. Then they proceeded to take from their arrival to 6pm to move some electric lines for the GFCI and light switches, reframed the basic structure of the bathroom wall (minus the pocket door frame), and removed the studs in the closet doorway/wall.

Day 3 they arrived late since they felt it was better to alter the pocket door frames at their shop instead of on the job. We generally agreed with that, but still feel it took far longer than necessary. Since they had the pocket door frames, they managed to somehow get them installed and put back the sheetrock that they had removed on Day 1. Despite the fact that we had purchased all new sheetrock. A fact we were "okay" with when they had to use their own wiring to reroute the light switches. But now, that also feels like something else they did to take advantage of our amiable nature.

Day 4, scheduled for 9am. The night before we received a text message that said 'see you around 9:30-ish', which was also very unprofessional. Needless to say, they arrived later than their texted ETA, and started working at 10. After two hours, they only had one door hung, half the trim, and zero handles cut in. After six hours (keep in mind this is hour six on DAY FOUR), they were finally applying tape and mud, had one handle cut in and attached, and that was pretty much it.

Our final analysis:

In total, it took 24 and 1/2 hours to demo for, install, and finish (minus door trim and paint which we are doing ourselves) TWO pocket doors. The drywall patching was a mess, drywall compound smeared all over the trim in certain places. They didn't shim properly so one of the doorways needs to be adjusted. There are 1" gaps next to the framing of the other door that they couldn't have bothered to use the drywall we paid for to patch it up, and instead left the gaps visible for us to either fill or cover up. There are screws from the drywall that are still visible.

We've spent a total of $1500 (approximately) in labor, and another $600 in materials (doors, frames, sheetrock, studs). It's money we could have saved had I known how to install pocket doors myself, and was willing to play with electricity to move the switches. It's $1500 wasted, in my opinion. If they had done it in 2 days, I'd be more agreeable, but this has but this has been a nightmare.

We paid, because we signed a contract. However, we will never hire Handyman Connection for any project again. Hopefully we'll be able to make that mediocre-to-bad job look good, because right now it looks like amateur hour. If we can't do that next small job using the internet and our own abilities, we just won't get it done.

Tony E. did an excellent job for me replacing worn out faucets, stucco repair and caulking my bathtub.  He was always on time, paid great attention to detail and was very pleasant and professional.  I would highly recommend him and will use him for future projects.

HC is my go to for the jobs I can't do myself.  Reliable, but not cheap.  I try to make the most of their time at my house.  I have not been disappointed over the years I have used them.

I had glass tub/shower doors installed, as well as front door and interior door hardware installation too.  Big shout out to Greg Hancock, their craftsman.  Was in touch before arriving; showed up on time, assessed the needs, quoted a fair price, and got to work.  No muss no fuss; he worked through all the written instructions on the shower door and installed it efficiently and perfectly.  He was pleasant and knew his stuff really well.  I highly recommend this company, especially Greg Hancock.  Every home owner needs to rely on a company they can trust to do stuff like this, without worry of a bad job, a craftsman who doesn't know his stuff, or ridiculously rip-off worthy prices.  Here they are.

Steve V.  did a wonderful job on tiling my living room and hallway.  He is precise, very skilled and cares about the finished product.  I'd ask for him again in a flash to do anything around my house.

I had an antenna  This involved attaching to screws to the wood on the side of my house and drilling a hole to string the cable through the wall and into an opening that already existed inside. He did this well and was very polite, but the price of $192 was too high for these economic times.  Especially in the post recession economy when those of us who need services are not making this much money.  Oh, and the $192 was after I was given a $25 discount.  He did a great job and even hooked up Hulu, which took quite a bit of time as he had to connect to Samsung.  If you have alot of money, I would recommend them.  If you don't, you need to find another service.

Used the Handyman Connection today for the first time and was very impressed. I read some other reviews where people had complaints, but they clearly didn't have Rob. Rob was punctual (early actually but he called to make sure it wouldn't inconvenience us), professional and did the job for less than he originally quoted because he was able to finish sooner than expected. The drywall work he did was top notch and I would definitely call again as long as Rob was available.

I just got a number of repairs done to my apartment - water heater, toilet, closet door, electrical stuff, etc. Randy did an awesome job. He worked after hours to make sure everything was fixed well. When my water heater and electricity went out this morning, I thought for sure I would have to sleep at a friend's house tonight, but Handyman Connection contacted me quickly (after my landlord hired them) and accommodated my schedule. I couldn't get home from work until 5:30 PM, but Randy was nice enough to wait to make the fixes then. He stayed until late to get everything working. I'm so incredibly happy that I can stay at home tonight. Everything works well. Randy was professional, friendly, and pleasant to chat with as he made the fixes. I definitely recommend!

The plus side is that they are efficient most of the time with their appt taking and even send an email confirmation and keep good notes on the service calls. Bad side is, when there is an error, dealing with them is very difficult. I should say one person in particular...Patty. We have called them twice to repair two separate homes. The first one was a break in and asked them to secure the front door. They agreed to send someone that day even after hours. The guy called to say he was on the way and never showed up. We called the office next day and proceeded to have to fight to get a word in with Patty who was defensive and argumentative. I had to ask her to calm down. Fast forward to today. Dispatched another property with two jobs. Tenant madea  fuss about needing one job sooner so HC split the workorder into two and sent two separate vendors resulting in two service charges without getting permission. then we didn't get the confirmation for the change of appt day/time and therefore were not available to approve the work while vendor was on site. My client, the owner, called and conferenced me in with Patty because once again when questioned, she was defensive, argumentative and talking over us instead of listening. she automatically said It wasn't me I don't know what's going on. Well, then instead of arguing, try connecting us with the person who does! Very poor way to treat customers and she needs some training or to be GONE. This is the second unpleasant experience I've had with her. She put Shelly on the phone, who was able to listen, figure out what happened and we moved on. It was a simple 5 minute conversation instead of a 20 min unneccessary argument with Patty. I did convey that they should have gotten approval before splitting the work orders resulting in additional charges and not just let the tenatn dictate course of action. Shelly was very pleasant and knowledgable however because the first vendor no showed in a critical safety issue and the two unpleasant experiences with Patty, I would not use them again.

We used Handyman Connection and had the best experience. They were professional and clean looking and I was not at all hesitant to have them in my home or around my kids. Everything was done to my absolute satisfaction. Highly recommend!

We worked with Allen who gave us a quote to turn our three wall office into a bedroom.  Once we agreed on a price (very fair compared to other quotes we received), his crew came out and framed the forth wall, created a closet, laid hardwood floors, and installed a door all within a couple days!   I couldn't believe how fast his guys moved.  These guys are on the ball.  Oh, did I mention they came in on budget too?? Highly recommend!

I had two different jobs taken care of by Handyman Connection. It is a good service in that they set you up with the appropriate handyman for a particular skill set. The work was done well although the first job was part inside and part outside, the job got spread out over a week when it should have been done in less than two days. The second job took less than two hours. The gentleman was very professional and got to the root of my electrical problem in my utility room, albeit with some help from me.

I called Handyman Connection to come out and fix cracked tiles and grout on our patio. The technician, Ron, was able to come out within a couple of days, he was on time and he fixed the patio within the hour. He also applied a coupon which was nice. I would call them in the future and I would recommend them.

I've used Handyman Connection multiple times during the past few years -- for electrical, for drywall repair, for installing a new door and for fixing a leaky sunlight.  Each time, the contractors have been very professional and completed the jobs with quality work and on budget.   I will continue to use their services.

I needed 2 exterior doors replaced. I special-ordered them from Lowe's. They were the wrong size (Lowe's fault) but David made them fit, and they look great. He was very professional, did quality work, and cleaned up completely before he left. I would definitely use Handyman Connection again.

I would say I am a fan because I have never used another company. I really enjoy using Handyman connection. I recently purchased a house in the desert ridge area, and they have been really helpful for plumbing, electrical, and general fixing up the house stuff. I think they are a great company with good rates and a company that you feel good about the work they do. I can not speak to the pricing vs. other competitors but the service and work done is great and something you can sleep at night with

I have used this company for years, and I have always been very happy with the work.  They have always been very prompt, efficient, and the prices have been reasonable for the work that they have done for me.  I not only would, but I do tell my family and friends to use Handyman Connection in Phoenix.

Handyman Connection contacted me about fixing the mediocre plaster job. Ron did the work, and it looks much better. I am updating my rating to 4 stars - an average of 3 for the 1st craftsman & 5 for the 2nd one.

We needed help and needed it fast! We were having a pool installed and found out at the last minute that our doors were 'backwards' and wouldn't pass inspection (we thought we had covered all the bases!). We called Handyman Connection and asked if they could help. The receptionist was friendly and found a way to get a service technician to our house right away to help us decide what we could do. The technician who came was courteous and prompt, his ideas were fantastic and the price he quoted was excellent. The office made his schedule work so that he could come and do the work before the inspector would arrive. He worked so hard and was so professional. The workmanship was first rate and the job looked great when he was done. We passed our inspection with flying colors and our pool is now complete. Thanks to Handyman Connection, I went from panic to relief in a matter of hours! We will definitely call Handyman Connection again.
