Mike Fierro out of Tucson AZ is AMAZING. Our initial installer did a terrible job on the edging/transition/trim work and Mike came out and reworked the whole job. He was professional, friendly, got it done quickly and we are SO HAPPY with the work. Thank you, Express Flooring, for sending him and thank you Mike for saving the day!!

Im going to start that the flooring install looks good. But behind the good looks there is the experience which was not good.

The Consultation went fair. The sales person used some pressure tatics and we felt rushed  in our decision. He gave a brief summary of what the installation would be like, Demo, Install and clean up.  He gets a 3 star.

The installation was the nightmare. The installer was 3rd party and shared he was a sub contractor as the original contractor could not do the job and asked him for a favor. Red Flag.  This person during the installation was very negative about Express and scared the daylights out of us because he made it feel like the demo work he needed to do would cause my estimate to inflate dramatically.  There were some cracks in the foundation, which had been patched in a previous remodel. They were not bad and didn't need any grinding or extra work. The installer made it seem like were going to have lots of extra charges for this too.   When Demoing another room the thinset used was pretty heavy on oneside, he made it out to be this horrible job and were gonna be charged for this removal.   The installer did not have the proper tools to address this and had to push the demo out another day.   The  cracks resealed, again no major work, took the guy a total of 1 hour each room to fill.    Thankfully this was not added to our bill as there were no major repairs. The next issue with this installer was the lack of sealing up vents and rooms. They used a thin plastic sheet and painters tape in erratic spots to hold up the plastic. This left gaps which the dust was able to penetrate, our vents were not covered and dust was through out the home. While I understand there would be some dust during demo, the sheer lack of sealing off vents and rooms left our home a nightmare to clean.   The only thing covered well was my Television.  All the other fixtures were loosely covered.  Their clean up was to take a dirty rag and move the dust on the floor.  They did some vacuuming but not enough to address the dust.  We ended up spending hours a full day to Free our home of the dust.  Express did have a QA guy come out   to check after I raised my concerns. Again 3rd party, took some photos and left.  I Don't know if that caused the Installer to change his tune but it was too late.  Unfortunately the damage was done, I had no faith in the company, the installer, the process, etc.  I couldn't  stop the project, and demand a refund.  I was bent over and put in a uncomfortable situation.  The Installer ruined our experience and I will never ever recommend this company to anyone. Bottom Line, Rushed and pressured sales, horrible contractor/installer. The price I paid this company doesn't justify the experience even though the flooring looks good.  Customer gets a negative experience and the company gets paid.  Be mindful when considering this organization.

Miserable experience with this awful company and I regret doing business with them. Too many things to list, so I'll just advise you all to avoid them if you have a flooring project.

Communication/Customer Service is subpar. We had our floor replaced yesterday. They were to finish it today but never called us. We left messages and the only notification we received was asking for payment.

I called the number provided when they asked for payment using my cell and no one answered. A generic recording answered. Didn't even state that I was calling Express Flooring. So I called back using my husband's cell because that's the number they have as our contact and what do you know, someone answers.

Debra states we need to pay and that our flooring was complete. No way were they done! We were told yesterday by one of the installers (who barely spoke English/the others didn't speak any English) that someone who specializes in connecting carpet to the wood flooring would be out today to complete the job. Debra still wanted payment despite what I told her.  I'm going to share this poor service to all rating sites! They even tried to charge me extra during the installation.

Status: was able to speak with Kathy who is sending out someone tomorrow morning to finish the job.

Exceeded my expectations for carpet installation. The two installers were amazing. Pricing was able to match the other vendor with the same quality carpet. Second time I used them and both times were exceptional!

Horrible service, unresponsive, bad install, does not show up on time, does not return calls.  Read these reviews and steer clear.  2 weeks after my installation and there are many issues with the floor.  This company and its employees suck. The contractors they use to install the floors suck. DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING. I was offered a $6,000 refund on a $14,100 install but they walk away from the lifetime warranty leaving me stuck with an $8,100 badly installed floor.  NOPE, you can come and fix this for the lifetime of your company or refund the entire $14,100 if you want out. AGAIN, DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING, YOU WILL REGRET IT. Yet another company that gets people via social media. Don't get lured in as I did. Express flooring you should be ashamed of yourself, look at all of these horrible reviews.  Do better, suck less.

Michael H. responds to these messages with canned responses.  How about actually helping people when they have an issue with your company, your workers, or your installers?  How about doing the right thing instead of ripping off more people? If you have no idea what you are doing, close your shoddy business, people work hard for their money and you are all thieves in my opinion.

Don't fall for their "oh, you get a free cruise or condo" deal, NO, YOU DON'T, you will be shelling out more money out of pocket for this.

I will be sharing my experience on every platform I can find. I will accept nothing but a full refund or I will do everything I can to inform the world.

I used express flooring in 2020 for two bedrooms and the carpet started to buckle in both rooms. I called express flooring and they will only cover buckling in the first two years. Poor install is what caused these issues. I would never use them again for any flooring.

UPDATED REVIEW:
I'm updating my review because the company reached out to me and applied significant discounts so I decided to move forward with the installation.  On day 1, the installation crew didn't have enough flooring material so they had to come back the following day.  No problem.  The install guys were really nice and even helped bring some groceries in for me.  The install was really fast.  The flooring is really pretty, but there are gaps; could be better.

PROS: FAST turnaround time, really nice install guys, and good customer service.
CONS: There are gaps where I don't think there should be (see photos and judge for yourself).  Pricing (even with discount) seems really high to me.

OLD REVIEW:
can't get a hold of anyone to cancel my contract. the agreement states, "you, the buyer(s), may cancel this transaction at anytime prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this transaction. see the accompanying notice of cancellation form(s) for an explanation of this right to cancel." however, there is no cancellation form in the documents i was provided.  when i try to call the number in my paperwork, it rings and rings until it eventually just disconnects.  i've emailed, and no response.

The sales rep gave us a good deal if we paid cash.

The installation crew for the demo and install of new tile in 3 rooms didn't even bother to cover the spaces to avoid dust. DUST WAS EVERYWHERE! My elderly mother had to do that and encouraged them to use plastic to cover. They don't clean up 100% after the project and left huge messages. Also, they didn't grout properly.

Escalation process was a nightmare, had to constantly follow up up via phone and email to fix the issues. Caused tremendous stress on the family.

I wish my husband and I would have done more research before going with this company.

At 6 months pregnant we needed our floors done so called up express for a free quote. We told them our budget and they were able to make it work for us, but told us not to tell anyone what we paid.

That should have been red flag number one.
Basically, the installers did a very terrible job. We're still finding pieces of our flooring that are lifting up. The carpet wasn't measured correctly so there's a huge piece that lifts up and has like a bubble under it.

Not only did they do a terrible job but they left glue ALL OVER the place. We're still working on getting all the glue off the floors because they literally got it everywhere.

Even on our personal items. Ruined my shower curtain, it was all over my counters, sinks, the brand new floors they installed and a huge pile of glue right outside my front door.

The last thing we needed was more stress and that's so this company caused us. Terrible, terrible, terrible quality and their business practices are very sketchy.

Would not recommend. Go with a more reputable company that practices ethics. There's a reason they don't give a quote over the phone.

flooded my house! the nail went through the baseboards into my pipe and ruined my walls and floors. there is no urgency or care and they put in a "service order" i wont even be reached out to till tomorrow to schedule when they can even come out and they arent plumbers they wouldnt even tske my toilets on and off so ill be waiting for someone else to come out and havnt had water all day. their subcontractors they send out are rude and unprofessional. they don't finish when they tell you, leave a mess, destroy your walls with cement and holes and try and say " it was like that" and then laugh. rip door trim off, throw away trim on your cabinets. theres gaps under the baseboards and the flooring. the floors are already lifting and told me to call in a month and they will re do them. no they should of been done right the first time! i honestly hate my floors and wish i went with any other company but them!

8.29.22 - Not even 4 days past installation and my floors are already lifting! I can't reach anyone, no matter what phone numbers you call!!! I am beyond disappointed! The crew they sent got high upstairs in my bathroom because they had to come back and seal the toilets, which they didn't do, but we're supposed to from the jump. I was asked by them if I had wax rings to seal the toilets with! What a joke!!! I am beyond fuming and can't reach anyone!!!

To the Manager that responded to my review below, I have called numerous times and a woman finally called me back, after your phone system confirmed my number, to "take notes" and to tell me she would get management involved and would be calling me back soon!!!  I am still waiting for the call back!

9.6.22 - talked to a total of 3 CSRs as of 8.31.22 because I was leaving to go out of town, still no manager involved! Was told they were scheduling for a repair and still no one has called back to date to confirm a repair appointment! Now I have lifting in the laundry room and have discovered that the base boards in there were broken and not replaced like the rest of the house.

9.15.22 - And still no call from Management nor are my floors fixed yet their commercials clearly say, "lifetime warranty on labor!" I have not only called numerous times, but have even did a repair request through their website! Same response when a CSR calls you, "a manager will be calling you!" What B.S.!

Advice, read the Google reviews and reviews on their site! Don't do business with this company! They have my $11k for a half ass job and then I was charged $600 for base boards and there are broken original baseboards that were not replaced in my laundry room. I can't move my machines to get to the lifting floors in there too, nor can I get clear photos behind the machines. No extra flooring was left for possible future incidents, should something happen.

Shame on Express Flooring, next week will be a month with no response! I have worked in Construction my entire career so I have resources on who to get involved - I am reporting to the BBB and AZ ROC with Contractor Numbers - 336928 & 200037.

I can't say the situation was resolved in a timely manner, but April 20th (almost 4 months after I initially reached out about my concerns with carpet) Express finally came through with a 'one time' complimentary re-stretch of the carpet.

I appreciate that Express made this right and am updating my review to reflect this.  However, the timeline that led to the eventual resolution is also included:

3/18/22 - Per Michael's request in response to this Yelp review, I called and spoke with a representative.  They said they were escalating the case so a manager could speak to me.

From March 18 - April 11th, I called multiple times and left many voicemails (I didn't count, but I was calling about every 2-3 days).  I was always told they would look into it and I would get a return phone call.
All of the customer service representatives were very polite, and they would all remark that 'there are a lot of notes in this file.'  And, they all agreed that no one had gotten in touch with me or returned my calls.  But, none of them had the authority to do anything besides make a note and mark my file for someone to review.

4/11/22 - I again reached out via phone, said they will again request a call back from a manager and I should get a call back sometime the next day.  I did not receive a call back, but on one of my subsequent phone calls, I did finally get someone that could actually speak to me (Wednesday 4/13).

Carpet re-stretch was scheduled for a week later.  The person scheduling the re-stretch agreed to a 2pm arrival time (no earlier than 2pm) to accommodate my work schedule.  The morning of service I get an automated text saying 12p - 2p arrival (and a note that if changes are needed, call the general help line.... which goes to voice mail/not answered in a timely fashion).

Needless to say I was again left scrambling to rearrange schedules and get someone to my house with keys by 12pm.
Thankfully I was able to get someone to my house in time to meet the repairmen and a satisfactory job was done.  Hopefully it will last.  All I can say is that it took a lot of time and effort on my part for Express to honor the 'lifetime installation' warranty I signed.

This was THE WORSE experience. Everyone who reads my reviews knows that I write excellent and not so excellent reviews. But this company should be ashamed of themselves. I had flooring done- which clearly it looks cheap. But I needed it installed fast. They didn't remove a piece of furniture went around it. And I have been calling for months to fix it since I now had the piece of furniture removed and now they want to charge me for something. They sent a guy named Tyler out and he was 'on my side' in them fixing it. Then apparently he let it slip through the cracks and another month or two goes by and no one calls me back. Terrible terrible! Do not go here or spend a penny here. And whoever called me was rude. So clearly they have no great warranty and they don't care about their customers being happy.

I was shopping around for a company that could install one room of carpet for my home and after about 5 companies coming out I decided to go with Express Flooring . Cameron was our sales rep that came to our home he was extremely knowledgeable and informed us of what to expect and addressed any concerns we had based on some of the reviews we read. Luis and his team showed up on time they did a fantastic job ! They were so friendly and professional. They moved our furniture carefully and put it back in the places we requested. We will definitely use them when we are ready for other projects to be done in our home

I Do NOT recommend Express Flooring for Tile Installation.

The actual install was longer than the quoted time frame; with only 2 people spending 1.5-3hours a day working. It sucked arranging with work to be home for the installation and they're only working a couple of hours.  To try to make up for the time not working on the install through the week, the tile installers of 2 people, were at the house from 8:30am- 6:30pm on Saturday and 8:30am-9:30pm on a Sunday which is absolutely RIDICULOUS.  You're not supposed to walk on the tile and confined to a bedroom because not one area in the house was finish completely.

The design consultant said they would remove the baseboards before installing the tile... this did not happen.
The tile installers were not careful removing the previous flooring, ripping the coating of the bottoms of cabinets. I had to go around the house resealing the caulking of the baseboards and painting the walls due to all the cracking.
Also, the large red tile spacers were left in the grout!! WTF!

The tile installers were working in the drive way, pouring their waste from grouting into to rocks..... WHICH NOW THERES A LARGE AREA IN OUR YARD THAT IS DISCOLORED!!! Also discolored the water hose reel box  out front and splashed the side of the house. Not to mention the little pieces of cut tile scattered around.

There was a Lack of Communication from Express flooring.  Hard to understand the crew that came to install the tile because I'm not fluent in Spanish.

We did have 3 bedrooms recarpeted as well. The installers that were contracted were great and only took a couple of hours.

I did reach out to Express Flooring about my experience. They said they would look into it... and then ABSOLUTELY NOTHING....

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN!!!

We're replacing the upstairs (not including bedrooms) flooring in our house and called Express Flooring for a quote.

My wife made the original call and they were very aggressive about making sure the "decision-maker" would be present.

CJ showed up and he did a good job showing my wife the options, sharing his recommendations, and providing value to the design process.

However, he refused to provide a written quote. He also refused to show her the breakdown (labor, materials, etc) of costs. The only thing he would provide us for a 450sq ft project is three numbers:

$15,300 - Retail (450sq/ft !!!.. this is insane)
$13,351 - Express Sale Price
$ 8,743 - Overstock Price

That's when my wife's spidey senses started to tingle. Why were they being so secretive? It made her nervous, with good reason, so we decided to have another company come out and give us a quote.

Be wary when doing business with a company that isn't willing to be transparent with their fees.

Edit: Michael, $15k for 450 sq ft? Come on, I was asking for solid gold tiles. You attempted to fleece my wife, we both know it.

Also, you're not A+ Accredited by the BBB, in fact you've had 166 complaints in less than 3-years (screenshot posted). You're dishonest Michael, which seems to be par for the course with this company.

I received horrible customer service and the job was horribly done. The job wasn't completed, flooring wasn't completely pushed wall to wall, padding was showing and to make matters worse,
My furniture was pushed up against the walls to cover the bad job done. Then to make matters worse l, I was discriminated and profiled when I said I wanted to finance my flooring. I was told I needed to have a credit score of 700 or higher sarcastically. I have attached pictures of the job not done correctly. I asked to be compensated for a 2 day job that took 3
Months to complete or should I say to repair the job that was screwed up in the first place and was told basically NO!!! I was offered $350 as compensation on a job that cost roughly $8000. Horrible customer service and horrible work!!!

Had no issues with the design consultant, he showed me tiles that I liked, we agreed on a grout and scheduled the install for a Wed-Fri with possible Sat time needed. I was promised this would be done by 'professional installers'.  Paid up front.

The installers that arrived barely spoke any English, and had several newly purchased tools straight from The Home Depot.

I didn't think much of it, if they do the job correctly I really don't care.

At the end of the 3rd day (Friday) they were still not finished.  They had all the tile laid, there was dust/mud everywhere so they had not done any cleanup yet.  Installers said they would return on Saturday.  I left things to set over night and went in Saturday morning to examine things.  There was a cracked tile in the door way of one bedroom.

As of 11am on Saturday the installers had not yet arrived, and I finally received a phone call from him stating he wouldn't make it that he had 'family things' to do.  He then handed the phone to his wife to translate for him.  She said he'd be by on Sunday morning at 8am.  I was frustrated at having cleared my Saturday for this and now having to clear Sunday but I didn't really have any other options so we agreed.

Installer showed up at 830 Sunday ready to get to work.  I immediately showed him the cracked tile, and he tried to explain that it was 'hard to do' and that I could get some 'grey caulking' to cover it up.

SERIOUSLY?  You want me to try and hide a crack on the brand new tile? What the hell kind of installer thinks that's a good idea?  I told him it needs to be fixed and left him to it.

He apparently reconsidered his caulk idea and found one of the 2 remaining tiles to cut and fixed it.

They finished up around 6pm but the grout had to dry so I couldn't really see many of the issues until the next day.

Monday I start examining things up close and start noticing several issues.

Grout was obviously done too wet in areas, lots of pin holes, some places where the grout sank down so far there's basically just a gap between 2 tiles.

Grout smeared up against the wall in some places, grout that just wasn't cleaned off the tiles at all in some places.

Found several grout lines with inconsistent thickness, meaning the tiles themselves aren't properly aligned in some areas.

I tried notifying the installer of this Monday morning, and gave him 24 hours to make it right.  He never responded, so as of this morning I have called Express Flooring to register my complaint.  They said to wait for a service manager to call me back.

I will update this review again depending on how that call goes, assuming I even get it.

UPDATE Thursday 2021-10-07: Got a call from the service person today stating someone should be by this afternoon to take a look at the issues.  Will continue to update...

I am posting a new review to move this up in the queue. After dealing with weeks of headache, shoddy workmanship, and terrible customer service, Express Flooring took the cake by charging me $1,366.32 to MOVE FURNITURE. Lol, check out the red line item in the attached itemized invoice picture. They now get 1 star.

I had posted a 2 star Yelp review a little while ago about the terrible customer service for this flooring company. I finally got an itemized invoice for the work done after almost two months of asking. The manager, Henry, adamantly told me Express Flooring does not provide these invoices. Lies. I now understand why.

The line item in red is a $1,366.32 charge for MOVING FURNITURE. Um, their website, phone prompt, and salesman all said they don't charge for moving, but here we are with this charge. Needless to say, I am not surprised that no one is returning my phone calls. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company.

Run far away from this company.

I have called Express Flooring numerous times, with no call backs, or answers to this. Obviously.

So, where do I begin...

When my wife first wanted to go though Express flooring I was a little hesitant but he sales rep Kyle was a great guy and even though I knew the price was high for what we were getting done, we still signed up so we can get it done "Fast" and with " commercial grade" carpet and have a "warranty".

Well, to start off even though our sales rep and their commercials swear they don't charge to move your furniture...they do (I happen to take a look at the contract the installers had laying around, which perfectly state "moving charge".) Then the installers also gave my wife a hard time at first about moving some furniture (which is what we paid for, and mind you we moved everything else out of the way.) I was at the gym and had to come right home and literally help move and facilitate the moving because the guys seemed like they would not do it otherwise.

So the good part is after all of that nonsense, the carpets were installed fairly quickly.

However we started noticing a lot of wiring and strings all over the carpet and noticed certain corners were lifting up aw well the doorways where it transitions to tile. So then they send a service manager to come fix those issues and this guy was extremely nice and professional. Almost too nice, he gave us his card and direct number and told us to call him directly if something else is wrong.

Well come to find out I guess he noticed there was quite a few things wrong with the carpet (water/rain damage to be exact) which he finally told one of the install managers after I called in again about more lifting in corners and now the carpets looking worse than the carpets we previously had for over 8 years though wear and tear and actual construction and remodeling of our bathrooms and kitchen.

So then we finally start going back and forth with a manager, find out there in fact is a problem with the carpets and are told they will come install all new carpet. Well you can imagine by this time we are over carpet and don't trust any carpet that comes from this place. This conversation was on a Friday and we were told we get back in touch on Monday. Well in the couple of days I went to Floor and Decor, Home Depot, Lowe's, and 3 contactors..... all were extremely cheaper than Express flooring by a decent margin. To purchase and install luxury laminate (with all of the extras, I'm even factoring in an extra $800 for surprise charges) it was even over a $1000 less than it was for carpet with Express Flooring. Truly makes no sense whatsoever.

Now I know we signed with express flooring and that there is "no refunds" so be careful with their next day install gimmick because once its installed you are in for life and "locked up" like the old Akon song.  I do have to say though the 2 people who I spoke to were extremely nice, but nice has yet to get me a resolution for my issue. I try to be extremely nice and understanding as I handle escalations for a living and understand how stressful it can be. So mind you I have not been rude to anybody I have spoken to. Anyways that has not gotten me anywhere either though..... This was done beginning of July and I have yet to have a concrete resolution.

I spoke to the install manager about getting pricing and whatever else I need to get the install of  vinyl flooring competed but that was over a week and a half ago.

While the people are nice and they come out to your house quick (for the sale and initial install), I would strongly urge you to not use them and if you do make sure you got pricing from everyone else and do your homework.  I was able to find out that they definitely top down sale and work on a margin. No set per square foot charge of install and even supplies (which I ws able to get everywhere else)

Hope this helps and you have better luck than me!

I saw "Manager Michael" responded to my review and he gave his poor standard answer "so sorry, not how we would like, blah blah blah".

People, wake up, this is the first Manager I spoke with who have HORRIBLE customer service  and is the Manager who then argued with me!  He is not sorry, just a sorry Manager!  How shameful and BAD BUSINESS. Don't fall for his crap!

BTW, I got the closet done, materials and labor for less than $650!  This Express Flooring is expensive and a bait and switch marketing company!

Warning!
Don't use Express Flooring for anything, I have had a horrible experience with them. They Installed glue down vinyl plank in 3 room. Charge over 7k left my floors a mess. Glue was transferred to the surface of the flooring surface. They returned 4 time even tried replacing some of the planking that was badly smeared with glue. They only made it worse. I finally had to find a way myself to clean my own floors of their mess. My biggest mistake was paying cash after they got their money, I had no recourse in getting this resolve. From the time they installed till now has been around 7 weeks. I gave them more than enough time to make this right, they just don't care. Save yourself the grieve use anyone else but Express

I wish I could give them ZERO stars. We love the floor itself but Express Flooring was nothing but a problem once install started. The design consultant never told us how noisy and unlivable our home would be for 4 days! They moved ALL of our furniture and covered (poorly) but could not even get to a microwave. Wound up spending the week in a hotel with my 3 cats and son! The design consultant said they would remove the baseboards before installing the tile... this did not happen. So instead the subs damaged almost baseboard in our home!
The tile installers were not careful removing the previous flooring, ripping the coating of the bottoms of cabinets. We had to go around the house resealing and recaulking all of the baseboards and painting the walls due to all the cracking. There was a Lack of Communication from Express flooring. Hard to understand the crew that came to install the tile because we are not fluent in Spanish.
Was told they would fix flooring that was coming up and repair/replace the baseboards. hey did finally reglue the flooring but after 5 visits and waiting at home for several appointments, they fixed the baseboards. My husband and myself wound up doing all of the repairs after waiting for 6 weeks!
I would never recommend this company to anyone. They happily were paid $20,000 to do the job, which looking back wound up costing us much much more! Horrible company!!

I had an unpleasant experience with this company. First of, very misleading ad on Buy 1 Get 2 Free Rooms. What I wanted to get done was install tiles in the living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, laundry room and bathroom. The sales person said it should be separated by doors like bedrooms, so the rooms I wanted done were not part of the ad. Realizing it now, itfelt like the sales person was pressuring me to do it.
The 5 day tile installation project that started August 26th, 2022 was completed on September 23rd, 2022. Phone calls after phone calls for scheduling people to come finish the job, fix the gaps and move things back. Installers showing up without the 2 hour window as stated on the contract, so I was not home, or I was sleeping. And when I got home or woke up, the tile installers already left. The tile installers said the baseboards are done by different people. Express Flooring sent 2 guys to install the baseboards. Gaps in between the tiles and the baseboards are noticeable. The baseboard installers said the tile installers are the ones who should fix the gaps and move the furnitures, washer and dryer back. I couldn't find my door stoppers and the springy things that stop the door from hitting the wall. Issues and concerns were not communicated within Express Flooring employees. Erik, contact from Express Flooring apologized for the major inconvenience but when I asked for a discount, he said he will look into that and he even said he will bother the level above him, to see what they can do. I know it is too straightforward of me to ask for a discount, but that was a major inconvenience. I was not able to do laundry for a few weeks, the house was full of dust that I had bad allergies. DUST EVERYWHERE. 4 of my fish died because I had to disconnect the big filters to move the tanks. I had to reschedule my work and took days off due to this. Loosing my money in the process. I had to ask my parents who live 30 minutes away from me to stay at my house while the installers were there, another inconvenience for my parents. Cathy from Express Flooring asked me on Oct 4th if the project is completed, I said yes and asked for the update on the discount that I originally asked Erik about. I asked that on October 4th, even now, October 12th, no update. No one tried to contact me after that. I have more details to share but it does not fit here.  Please help me with this.

Why is this company allowed to use deceptive sales tactics, not have to disclose breakdown of costs, and scam innocent customers looking to improve their home and their lives?  We went with Express because of the amount of years they have been in business - first mistake.  We believed the sales rep, Neil Hoffman, when he sold us a high quality, commercial grade, nylon carpet, with a 35 year wear warranty - second mistake.  Please understand the following when dealing with Express - they will not give you a cost breakdown because of their "special pricing", they will not honor the warranty they sell because they will only honor the manufacturer's warranty, and commercial grade only means they install it in apartments not that it is going to last longer.  Out $25k carpet frayed and showed wear 11 days after installation.  The manufacturer inspector that Express sent, stated the carpet was performing as a cheap, polyester carpet should.  That is NOT what we bought, but we signed the sample that we were shown based on the description from Neil, so we are basically stuck with some of the cheapest carpet made that is already worn that we can't afford to replace because we just spent all of our remodel money on the crap that Express sold us.  We have filed complaints with the BBB, the Arizona Attorney Generals Office, the ROC and will be contacting an attorney for arbitration.  We will also be contacting our local representatives to get involved in these shady and deceptive practices that, according to the amount of poor reviews on Yelp and the amount of complaints on the BBB, are taking advantage of a lot of AZ tax payers.

Carpet installed was not the same quality as the sample shown and has completely worn out in 2.5 years.  I installed carpet for my Uncles carpet company when I was a teenager which may give me a advantage in being uniquely qualified in grading carpet quality and the carpet was the lowest quality that I have ever seen for the price of a premium product.  No carpet should be completely worn out in 2.5 years especially when the carpet was vacuumed twice a week and cleaned regularly.  Save your money and shop somewhere, anywhere else!   Anyone interested in suing this company?  UPDATE; the Arizona manager Henry (interestingly, Michael H. and Henry J. Supposed managers use the same profile picture) just another way to defraud or fool your customers?  He did try to contact me but I want NO more to do with this company!  Fool me once, shame on you.  Fool me twice, shame on me!

Poor quality workmanship, NO attention to detail, cut wavy lines no where near straight, used a putty like substance to fill in the gaps between floor and thresh holds. Sales rep "T.J." said they would take care of everything and do the job to our complete satisfaction, B.S. Paid top dollar and got mediocre install at best along with several pieces with imperfections (wart like bumps). Called them several times and each time I'm told someone will call me back, has never happened, their "guarantee" is non-existent. You'll be better off quality wise and cost wise to pick someone else. I was and should've done it myself and saved the $14,000 in labor.

Shame, shame, shame. We had three rooms of carpet installed on 4-21-22. The carpet is no good, the backing is coming off and the seams are showing. They will not return calls and have told us that they will not replace the carpet until they get reimbursed from the manufacturer. We asked for a refund to go elsewhere and were told that was not an option. The manager was supposed to call us within 45 minutes 3 days ago. I picked Express Flooring because of the years in business. We supposedly purchased higher quality carpet. It was not cheap in price at all. We even paid in full up front as asked. Very disappointed and will not recommend them or use them ever again. I have a chunk of carpet taken out by them and ugly seams and lumps in one room. Waiting for a full refund or quality carpet.

Update: during the 2nd install the company tried scamming more money out of us. Of course no one was on top of it when I called but finally after some time and me not budging they said "yes, sorry, there is no cost"...TERRIBLE!!!

Installers were not profesional, left dirt everywhere, also used our decorative towels to prop furniture against walls. And after all said and done the carpet still has the dividing lines in 2 rooms...looks like they ran out of one carpet and put a different shade to complete the job...TERRIBLE!!!

Express Disappointment is what the company should be called!!!

Horrible customer service. On initial at-home interview the salesmen showed up almost two hours late, at the end of our appointment time. They were rude and said I was confused as to the time of the appointment. I didn't start the process with them. When I called to speak with a supervisor, I was told I could not talk to a supervisor. Actually I'm glad to find this out about Express Flooring and will look for a different company.

One of the worst customer service we have ever received.  This company needs to make sure that they stand behind what the sales rep are telling customers. For the cost we did not receive what we paid for.  We are very disappointed with the damage done to our trim. The employees that came to do the work, had little to no communication and worked like they were rushed. After they finished, all of my kitchen and living space was covered in dust (I was never told to cover anything) and they had damaged all of my kitchen trim. They sent an employee out with intention to repair and then suddenly the company went back on their word and refused to repair the trim.  Beware of this company, they do no offer the service they promise! We will never recommend this company to our friends and family. Apparently, hiring them cost us much more than time!

Possibly a good deal on the flooring, but horrible work when completed. Had to have the their installers come out three times to fix the work they initially did on for our stairs. Wouldn't have been so bad, if they were responsive to our calls to get them out to our house. Would not recommend them for the work. On a side note, see their commercials brings up the bad memories of dealing with them. So annoying.

We hired Express Flooring at the suggestion of our Kohler designer who knew "a guy" and could get us a great deal on tile for our bathroom remodel.  We chose to do tile in primary bathroom and extra bathroom upstairs.  The setter that came didn't cover anything and spilled concrete and grout all over our stairs and  left a mess by the outside gate where he mixed.  However, that really is not our issue.  The setter broke both toilet valves over-tightening  them and reset our primary toilet incorrectly and we woke up the next morning to our living room ceiling having water coming through and all over our downstairs laminate flooring.  Thirty plus calls later and nothing has been done.  We had to hire mitigation and reconstruction group ourself and are having to pay the deductible to our homeowners insurance.  Yes they will subrogate it.  The real problem is that the setter did a horrible job cutting and setting the tile and we have a crack in one of the tiles and it needs to be replaced.  And after over 30 calls we can't get anyone out here to fix it even though our contract reads that they "guarantee" the work.  This has all happened in the last three weeks.  We started with a shower remodel and now our house is a catastrophe.  I have filed with the BBB and starting the complaint with the Registrar of Contractors.

This company hired a sub-par tile setter and does not even back up their work or damages caused to our house.  We are over $8,000 in damages as we speak and three weeks in to trying to return our downstairs to "normal".

I advise not do business with this company ever!

We didn't end up booking with Express Flooring, but our experience during the quoting process was a big part of the reason why.

Everyone was super friendly when it came to booking the appointment. The sales person showed up on time, was very respectful and friendly. The estimate process was very thorough..almost too thorough. It was about 30 minutes or so before he even started measuring our home.

We had received a handful of estimates already and theirs was, by far, one of the most expensive: 2x the next best estimate we received. We weren't bargain hunting and I realize that it's often worth paying extra to have a reputable company do good work, but that price discrepancy was a lot to ignore. What was worse is that there's no breakdown at all for the price, so you don't know WHY it's expensive or what changes you could possibly make to alter the price (different product, different flooring type for cheaper labor, etc).

Once the price is shown, that's it. You either take it on the spot or you don't get the lowest possible price, leading to a very high pressure situation at the end of the appointment.

After the appointment, I remembered that the salesman didn't give us one of the options we had asked for - not doing a portion of the flooring as we were going to potentially have a separate tile guy do that part. I called him to ask for an updated estimate without that part of the floor and he said he'd have it to me in a few hours. Never heard back by phone or email.

It seems they're not interested in working with customers unless they can pressure them to commit in person during the appointment and are not willing to provide ANY transparency in the pricing. You have to just trust them the whole way through.

One of the most bizarre experiences I have had with a sales person. I was looking for a quote to install 820 sq ft of ceramic wood floor tile 7in by 24in.  The sales guy told me that it would cost $12,500. I just got it quoted for the exact same thing for $5,000 less.

The sales guy refused to show me any product because I said the price seemed really high. He said this is the going price if you are ok with it we can proceed and and if I was not ok with it he would leave.

I felt like unless it was a big job then they were not interested. I felt like I was being taken advantage of.

I would strongly urge you to not use Express Flooring.  The biggest reason is the deceptive sales practices.  Our sales rep spent the whole time explaining how durable the vinyl floors are, they are commercial grade, 50 year material warranty, and even proceed to scratch at the floors with his keys to show their scratch-resistance.  However, I later found out that the contract basically says that warranties do not cover any user-inflicted damage.  So when I pushed a heavy box across the floor, it scratched the floor and now Express is refusing to replace the damaged pieces (why should they, they're not contractually obligated).

Lesson learned - always read the contract, no matter what the sales rep tells you.  Express will make a killer pitch, but just know that even their best floors (which is what we purchased) are not nearly as strong or durable as they tell you.

I am hoping my elderly mother who moved in with us in California.   Express flooring will NOT allow anyone to come open her condo so we can put flooring in, mom physically has to be there.  This is crazy since so many have investment properties out in Arizona and aren't there.  They won't even allow me as a power of attorney to be there.

I do not recommend this company or their service. As a Top Realtor we need good service people.

Thinking of flooring? Express flooring is not the best as the commercial says
I wanted to get rid of all carpets in the house some 800sq ft. I researched with BBB and looked at ratings for the best in the area for hardwood floors and such went with a company that said they would move all furniture, get rid of old carpets, put new flooring in, and warranty this for 50 years then replace furniture all with qualified sub-contractors that work only for Express flooring for one easy price.

I paid some 8500 which by the internet seemed fair for the square footage that was to be worked on
The three-day operation came two men came to my house at date agreed upon didn't speak a lick (zero) English. Now my wife speaks French Arabic and English, but these two nice gentlemen didn't speak any it was sort of weird we worked thru a couple of hours and everything was wrong. The men were nice people I bet but they could have been my landscapers for all I know. No credentials and after 1 room was completed I figured out they barely knew what to do. literally,

I swear I know squat but know how to move stuff without breaking and smashing walls, one was in charge the other a 24-year-old kid, needless to say, stopped work called the wonderful salesman who sold this to us and his first responses had to speak with installations, my wife called on his cell and reluctantly told us that someone had to speak English on the job, Well Einstein I was here at my house with his crew who did not all understand me

Bottom line Express flooring still as of today haven't answered 6 calls, the floor did get done didn't have much choice, but OMG its fair at best, walls need to be painted now because of such careless scrapes, and the attention to detail is horrible I wish I saw this post before I bought flooring with Express flooring remember to date now as I write this not a callback, inspection or sorry it was messed up how can we help Express Flooring is horrible 1 star is giving something Tom Adams Verrado 10-24-2021

Bob Scoby, threatened my wife's health by refusing to properly secure his fast mask during our in home estimate. I hope that's not the type of  professionalism all of your sales persons have. When I asked him to mask up a fifth time or leave, he stormed out of the house muttering profanities like a child. Then when I went to the door and asked him what he said he came back to try and physically confront me. Stay away from Bob and express flooring. Thanks for nothing

I had new flooring installed recently and I struggle between giving this company a 3 star or a 4 star review.  The end result is good and all of the people (salesperson, office people, installer etc) were very nice.  However, a one week project took three weeks!  The biggest complaint I have was lack of response to my calls and texts.  Twice I sat for 2 full days with no one showing up and no one responding to my texts and calls.  It was frustrating.  Express Flooring requires a full payment upfront and I feel once they got my money I was not important.  But if you have time, they did a good job

The only thing express flooring did right was show up the fastest for the sales call. They didn't start at the guaranteed start date common they didn't finish by the guaranteed finish day. Communication was terrible. I explain to the two salesman that I was taking the time off of work for this work to be done and they guaranteed me a start date but started almost a week later. The Salesman are a lot like car salesman, lots of pressure starting at a really high price than making you think you got a good deal by bringing it down with all these different methods, including requesting you pay 100% upfront so that you can avoid some extra fees and inconveniences. Basically the price ended up being less than half of the price they started at the beginning of the sales quote. They never called to see if I was satisfied, once they got their money they were gone.

Their "lifetime installation" warranty is not worth the paper it is written! Total sales scam!
We had plank vinyl installed 3.5 years ago. Have a fairly minor problem on one piece that I did not call them back to repair as I thought I would wait and make sure that there were not any other issues that needed repaired, after all they provide a "Lifetime installation warranty".
When contacted they said they would send someone to look at it for a $50 fee as it was past 2 years! I sent them a picture of this minor repair required and they came back that they could fix it but would charge a minimum $100 service charge.
Eventually, after multiple calls requesting higher levels of management, they eventually said they would do the minor repair at no charge but "all future repairs and claims would not be honored". When I read them the written comment on my original work order from the salesman, "Lifetime labor warranty", their comment was that "sales guys will say and do whatever it takes to make the sale". Although we are happy enough with the product, this deceptive scam advertising and warranty practices are not indicative of an ethical company!.

Horrible!!  Buyer beware of this company.   We had a salesperson come out and give us a quote. We like the material and agreed on the price.  Paid in full.  The installers show up 4 hours late and only begin our nightmare.  They come back the next day and say they can't complete part of the jobs rhat rhe sales person say they can do.  Calls are made back to the company and the lies begin.  We are still awaiting the finishing of the floor job we paid for.   When you call, they have to check, call you back and make new appointments that the installers don't show up for.  One section blames the other and the other section has no idea what is going on.  When you ask to speak with a supervisor, they are unavailable and will "never" call you back.  Do not recommend, do not use!!  I will keep updating these reviews until my job is completed.  To this point, I'm at a month and it was suppose to be a 2 day job max.

On 5-10-22 my laminate flooring was installed. It took 8 days. I was told it would take 4 days. Not the end of the world but this dose seem like the repeating theme with this company.  Five days later, I noticed that two of the Bullnose on my 16 stairs have scratches on them.  Seven days later they show up to fix the two stairs. But by that time I now see 5 stairs with scratches. They only fix two. I call Todd to complain no answer dose not call back. I wait a week and call again Todd says he will order new bullnose. Wait a week I hear nothing.  Call back no answer.  Now I have a new problem with my floor has a hole in it. So I call again Todd say some will be their tomorrow. No one shows up. Call again Todd say they will be there in two days. Someone shows up looks at the problems and leaves. Dose not fix anything. Call Todd again no answer. Call Todd's boss now Todd calls me back it now July 22. Nothing is fixed. And I am told someone will be here on the July 29.

Worst experience ever from your project Manger(molly) and the schedule guy (Jason). Only had to call you guys 3 days in a row to get someone  on the phone. Then I was schedule for sat install only to get canceled and rescheduled for monday (today). I was assured by Jason my installers would be here after 330 and would call me 30 min before they got here. The showed up at 215 no phone call and kicked my painters out so they could install. Called molly and she pretty much told me she wasn't going to do anything for me even though i had to leave work early, my paiters did get to finish and my house won't go on the market in time. I pretty much said oh well. And to top it all of they dented my stainless steel refrigerator in front of my realtor and i as they were packing up. Of course when I call and ask for molly she is unavailable and so is anyone eles who can "handle" this matter. Supposedly they will call me back but we will see. I really  hope Express flooring see this and someone decides to reach out and make this right. i will update if someone ever calls me back.

Very bad experience! John McReynolds made several promises and false statements. He definitely over promises and NEVER delivers.

He stated, "we use our own guys to install your carpet -- drug tested, background checked, top-notch guys!!"

Well, day of install, no one showed and we were told they could not get in touch with our installer. The rep explained to me that they Never have used their "own" guys and they only use third parties.

We moved everything in our home and were ready to go for nobody to show day of install.

John also goes by JMAC. His exact text: " No tricks no games just the flooring guy! I do as I say and say what I am going to do in writing. Simple dimple! A happy wife is a happy life!" SUCH A SCAMMER!!! Don't believe a word he says.

I was very happy with this company's work initially. The sales team was kind. It was expensive compared to another company, but worth it to have a quick install as my kids and I bought a new house and we want our bedding in the house. Living on air mattresses in the living room while we remodel is not They came and organized their supplies for the time job. The first day they worked all day, 2-3 guys. The next day 1 guy came. The third day (today) is a no show. I can't reach anyone. Today was suppose to be the last day of my 3 day install. What is done looks great. But now I'm stuck because I leave for out of state and won't be here to let any come in should they try to tomorrow or for the next week. The phone number goes straight to voicemail and does not have a voicemail box set up. For the price and what I saw the first day, I expect better.

Update: upon my return I was able to reach and schedule this company to finish the job on a Saturday. Three guys came out and it was finished before they left. The quality of work is very good! I'm happy they responded and moved so quickly.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!  They came in to do the carpet install.  After they were gone, I turned on the lights and noticed that the tile right beside the newly installed carpet was broken.  I have called multiple times to inform them of the situation and they did send someone out to take pictures.  That is the last that I have heard from them.  Now they will not respond to my texts or emails.  What a terrible company.

Just like most of the reviews on Yelp, I too agree..... horrible horrible horrible experience throughout the entire process. After $13,000+ I am just ripped to shreds (like I would like to do with this floor but can't afford to replace YET). If you want to constantly hear your floors pop and make other noises, well this place is for you. We reached out to the company and they sent someone out who said he worked for them and then said he didn't. I asked if he had this product in his home or if he would sell it to his mother, he could not answer because he knew how awful and expensive their product is.  He told us we needed to wait a year to see if the noises would stop. WHAT?  WHAT?  He also said I would receive a phone call from the general manager by the end of the week.  Guess what......still waiting for that phone call weeks later!

Read their website. None of it was true for me.  Would love to have a Shaw flooring representative come to my house and tell me the product they sold me was far superior than actual Shaw flooring they advertise they have.  I told the kid salesman who had to call his daddy several times throughout the  initial sale that I wanted the best product they sold.

Good luck to the next sucker who makes the same mistake.  Toodles Express Flooring. Really appreciate your honesty and superb customer service. NOT

Wish there were negative stars so I didn't have to leave one star.

I recently hired Express Flooring  (EF) to repair a section of damaged flooring that had been installed by them years prior. I thought it would be best to seek the repair by the same company considering it is their product and likey to still carry it.  A red flag should have gone up for me when it took 3 weeks to get someone out for an estimate. Clearly, this was my fault.

For 2 months I've been dealing with cancelations and no shows form their team. Additionally, I had to notify the management of their installer was a no show on two occasions. 3 calls from them stating there were issues with appropriating the wood, each time called the day of installation after the scheduled time of arrival.

Ironically, hours following this posting I received a call by the same manager. Their message was clear, they were concerned for the damage the posting may cause and asked how it could be taken down. In addition, I was threatened with involving their attorneys if I didn't remove the posting.

Where I come from customer service drives business success.

Following up on the response below that is 100%false information. At no time did I ever request free service. In fact, the damage was caused by my house cleaner who paid for the repairs. So, again false information, nothing was coming out of my pocket.

The reply below should be a clear indicator of how unprofessional this company is. Even to blame a consumer for their poor service and excuses. I understand this was not a money-making job, but it clearly shows if the project is not big enough, you are not important to them. Express flooring has even removed their review section on Google so people wouldn't read all the negative reviews on them. Instead, they created a landing page with staged positive video reviews.

Pitiful!

My experience with Express Flooring has been horrible. Their product & services are not at all what they advertise. Their selling tactics are manipulative & deceptive, and Customer Service is the worst. For medical reasons we had to replace the carpeting in our home with a hard surface flooring that would accommodate a wheelchair for my father. The Express Flooring sales Rep/design consultant we spoke to was Cory Hoffman. After meeting with him and explaining our needs, he recommended we go with luxury vinyl plank flooring assuring us it was high quality, durable, waterproof, and long lasting. I asked him about the 2-sets of curved stairs we had in the sunken dining room, and if they would be an issue. He assured us it would not. I let him know we were wanting next day installation and was told all we needed to do was inform the scheduler of that. We signed the contract, and everything went downhill from there. When the scheduler called, we were informed that next-day Installation was not available. Then, during install, it was determined they were unable to do the stairs as promised. We ended up getting 6 months of the run around and resolving the problem ourselves by permanently squaring off the stairs for the correct stair nose to fit. We thought everything was good, until three months later when the floor planks started lifting and peeling. I've brought this to their attention and filed a repair request 3 months ago and am still struggling to get a solution. Upon researching, I found that the flooring they installed does not meet residential wear standards and was of extremely low quality. Trying to speak with someone who can help me is nearly impossible. My calls & voice messages are ignored. When I do get a call back, I get excuses and the run around. We are now over a year since the contract was signed and still don't have a resolution to this issue.

I would give negative rating for this company. I called them for in house estimate for my living room tiles. I did mention during my call that I will follow all the safety protocols and expect the same from the person. When he came in his mask was under his nose. I gave him my booties so that he could wear while entering. He got irritated because of this. While he was taking measurements my husband was opening the doors and the knobs as we did not want him to touch. He started shouting at us that "you are standing on my nerve do I have any disease".

So what is wrong with this. We all should follow safety measures to end the pandemic and no one should question. Nowadays when we go to a store we are not allowed to touch anything, is it wrong? Does that mean everyone is diseased. How can a person speak like this.

Very very wrong behavior.

While i gave them a good review immediately after the installation of the flooring I now know it was a MISTAKE!!  The flooring has made a snapping, / cracking sound since about a week after they finished.  We have attempted to contact them for several months now but can not get anyone to even return our calls!
Poor or non existent customer service I would never consider using them again! which is a shame because the workers were great even staying late to complete the job.  I sure hope they have found another company to work for by now!

We bought an entire houseful of carpet from Express Flooring on Nov. 7, 2019, paying $6000 up front. Although it didn't appear to be the same carpet we'd purchased, it was beautiful, thick and luxurious--for a short few months. Although it had a (useless) 3-year warranty, within 6 months it began showing excessive wear, with a distinct, darker, tread pattern. The "highest quality pet stain impervious pad" was less than half the thickness as on installation day.
We had it professionally cleaned in June, 2020, with little improvement. We started removing shoes at the door and I bought throw rugs for entryways.
In Feb, 2021, I paid Zero Res to super clean all but the closets. Photos show what the carpet looked like right after they finished.
My husband and I are seniors who live  alone, have a small, house-broken poodle, and seldom entertain guests.
For the past several months, I have called Express on a near-weekly basis to speak with a service representative, whom (according to the person answering the phone) is always busy. I am promised, time after time, that someone will get back to me "today." In the past 6 months, I have received 3 messages. However, when I call back, that person is unavailable, but will call me back that very day. It Has Never Happened.
I wish I had read these reviews before we entered into this nightmare. Nothing will alleviate the scam imposed on us but to have our entire house full of carpet, and the pad, replaced.

2 times now express flooring has not shown up to do the carpet installation we already paid for. They did not reach out to us either of those times to let us know they were no longer going to be able to keep the appointment, we had to call them because no one showed up. We are trying again tomorrow but honestly I don't have high hopes that anyone will show up.

This started as a 1 star review....It's a long read, but explains the entire ordeal.

We used express flooring 10 years ago for our carpet... that install was fine.

We decided to use them again for new carpet. Had their salesman come out to our house on March 31st, 2021. Scheduled for install for May 1st, 2021. 32 days out from purchase date. You would think plenty of time to plan ahead and schedule...........Guess what, NO SHOW!!!  Beyond Pissed.

How can you advertise next day install on the website and ads and you can't even show up 31 days later?!?!?!?!

I didn't even get a call that something was wrong until 10:18 in the morning. We have already done all the prep work, rearranged our house, had plans to invite guests over that evening but now all that is screwed.

I even called on Thursday April 29th to Confirm our install just to make sure and was told yes, you are on the schedule and that I would receive a call first thing in the morning with the arrival window.

Nothing was offered on the first call for the issues and I had to ask for a discount or threaten to cancel. Get a call back and for the inconvenience of it all, we get a whopping $200 off our bill. Not even 10% of the total. About to call Empire and get them to come out and give us a quote and install tomorrow and cancel express for breach of contract.

I will say the lady on the phone, Kathy (not sure on spelling) was very nice and apologetic. It's not her fault but none the less, I am not a happy customer.

2 days later and I am having to call back again to get to talk to a manager...... I really want to give them a chance to fix this and I can adjust the review....not looking so well.

and now on the 2nd day of install i was told we had the first spot in the morning..... then a get a call that our arrival window is 10-12, however the guy said they will be there around 10............nope...... it's 11:40 now... and i have to leave at 1:30..... guess who is going to be waiting outside while i pick up my kids from school in the hot sun.

I received a call from Bob, during the install and talked to him for a bit. I could tell he was beyond frustrated with the situation nearly as much as I was.  Bob and I worked out a resolution that I was comfortable with. I was also able to get a neighbor to come over and stay at the house while they worked. Forever grateful for good neighbors.

Fast forward to the end of the day.... install is done...the installers did a great job. I felt bad for them because I could not do the prep work that I wanted to do such as taking apart 2 loft beds....they had to do it all. They get a 5 star review.

While I was gone at another personal appointment, I did get a call from Henry. Henry apologized to me and explained what happened and why and said it's no excuse for us. I appreciate that. I have amended my review to 4 stars after talking with Bob and Henry....Hopefully, they can get their staffing levels back up and not have any more issues for customers that I experienced.

We never actually hired EF so cannot write a review based on their products or service. We called to make an appointment to have the salesman come out to give us a quote. The salesman was a no show. We called the next day to find out why, and they said he called us to change the appointment. WRONG! We never received a phone call so these people are liars.
After reading the Yelp reviews, we are grateful that we never hired them.
And it's pretty funny that with all the NEGATIVE reviews, the responses from Michael, the supposed business manager, all say that EF has a 98% positivity rating?

Daniel showed up to fix a couple of places where are carpet raised up a couple of inches. Daniel was one of the most polite workers we have ever had at our house. He was very respectful of our furniture and did a fabulous job at fixing our carpet and cleaned up after. I would strongly suggest that Daniel is a great addition to express flooring.

Do not use this company. They're markups on product and labor are obscene. They will not provide you with a breakdown of your purchase. They want all of your money up front. They sub out your install to very low end independents and markup the install as well. You don't have a project manager you can contact, and you'll never be able to reach your salesman after he cashes your check.
After many mistakes from their installers and failures to return calls from their 'managers', we finally fired them. We had to fight through a few weeks of games to get most of our money back!
Dealing with them is comparable to dealing with DirectTV or Cox.
Get a second opinion!

Wow did I dodge a bullet. Made an appt for work to be done. The rep on the phone laid it on thick telling me that in his ten years with the company he has never seen prices so low. After doing more research I canceled the appt. Negative reviews all said the same thing. They are late for appt they do bad work and never come back to fix mistakes. The original appt was supposed to be between 8 amd 9. At 915 a guy in an Escalde shows up. I called the office and said that I had previously canceled due to bad reviews. "Donyou know who you spoke. To?" Really??? Not my problem lady. And of course true to the reviews he was late. Trust tour gut. Avod this sham company!

Worst company ever!  I have been trying for over a year to get the tile they installed repaired, I will get a call every other month saying we are going to fix it, however, no one does.  They scheduled an apt twice, no one showed up to do the job.  Awful, do not use this company, please be warned.

Absolute worst. I've been holding off posting here, but I won't anymore. Had them install laminate and carpet. Laminate cracked in one spot and the carpet isn't the quality of what we ordered. It's already matting after 2 months. We've called to exercise our warranty and they've canceled a dozen times and today, they said they'd be here between 10-12 and they are a no show. I am thinking of contacting other people on here and filing a class action because of non-performance. They don't honor the warranty and they aren't reliable. Run like hell if you're approached by them. They are a scam. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Update on 3/25/21: Express Flooring is working with us better and has promised to make the installation correct. I will give them this opportunity to rectify it and if they do, I will update my rating and give an update as well.

Update 3/30/21 Express Flooring sent out a tech today and he replaced the carpet on the stairs and fixed the laminate in the same day. We're satisfied with the repairs and the carpet looks to be of higher quality too. I am glad we were able to finally get this taken care of.

Highly satisfied first time customer! I found Express Flooring at a home and garden show. The gentlemen were happy and perky at the booth, which was nice compared to some other vendors who shrugged me off, losing a sale. The in home quote process was relaxed and straight forward. No high pressure. I told them what I wanted to spend and they gave me several options to choose from, which was nice because I wanted to stretch my project budget as far as possible in my new house. Single mom, first time home owner. I was super impressed with scheduling, and they were able to accommodate my days off within a week's time. The installers were great, did a detailed job and kept the place clean as they worked.  Thanks again!

We used Express Flooring to carpet our 2nd floor and after reading some of the reviews thought I'd share my experience to help others.
We met with a few other companies to get quotes and if you are going to do this, make Express Flooring be your last quote.

The reason for this is because they essentially want you to lock down the deal then and there if you do decide to go with them. If you do not, that deal is essentially gone and you start over so I would suggest making them be your last quote so you already have the information you need to make an informed decision.

Their pricing was actually extremely reasonable with a good selection available. I would recommend being honest regarding your price range and understanding what you want as it makes things a lot easier.

We scheduled a date and were advised we'd receive a phone call prior to arrival which we did. The crew that came did a great job however were not wearing masks which was not a huge deal as we were wearing ours and they were working where no one was around.

All in all, it was a very easy process but again would recommend:

1. If shopping quotes, make them your last
2. Be honest regarding your price range
3. Know what you want

I had a floor installed 3 weeks ago and it as yet to be finished. I have called and called and get no response.  But they have been paid with 12 months same as cash.  The worst service I have ever seen.  I'm told that the install department is down to one person.  They advertise that you can get flooring the next day after the rep shows you the floor.  Well rep had no idea in what was needed so here I sit house tore apart, floor not done out 3500.00 and no response.  As most of the reviews are negative I would not go with this company unless they are the only one on the planet that can lay floors.  They advertise stress free installation what a lie that is

**** UPDATE****
So when Conner came to my home  to sell me flooring I was all for it. He did a great job and earned my trust.

WHAT A MISTAKE!

Not only was the job NOT completed on time, but I was called a liar when the manager told me I was avoiding his calls (he was calling a wrong number - that email was great!) And when I told him he was calling the wrong number he called me a liar again! As if I do not know my own cell phone number!

Thank God I recorded ALL phone conversations and have ALL Text messages saved as well.

He proceed to call me a liar again when he  told me someone had called and spoken with my husband in regards to the issues on our flooring, when I informed him NO one had called or spoken to my husband **We were both off work that day and sitting on the couch together ALL MORNING** the manager told me I was a liar again and read off my husbands work phone number asking me "is this NOT your husbands work number?" I firmly told him yes it is, but he is OFF WORK and again did NOT speak to anyone that day.

This type of behavior has carried on now for over 2 months. I was told they would refund me $5000 due to the NUMEROUS errors on their part.

Not only did I NOT get said refund (again I have the recorded phone calls and text messages proving this) but instead they CHARGED me another $1000!!

My husband called and complained to another manager last week who PROMISED they would call me with a resolution no later than Monday 9/20/21,

I have YET to get a return phone call.

WORSE customer service. WORST company to deal with!

I was told if I wrote a good review at the time of the sales pitch I would get $1000 off my quote. What a scam! Plus I am pretty sure that is illegal as well. Review had to be submitted BEFORE the sales guy left my house!

I will be posting the call recordings and text messages on social media - maybe then that will get their attention to do the right thing.

Unfortunately I doubt it though.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

****************************************************
I HATE getting quotes from companies and tend to lose my patience very very quickly with the "sales pitch" mentality. Being in sales myself I chose who I do business with based off how genuine the individual is. I like to be direct, honest and not feel like I am being 'played' or just another sale.

That being said, I have gotten quotes from 3 different companies to redo my flooring in my home. Conner w/ Express Flooring was the 3rd person my husband and I spoke with. Within 5 minutes I knew we would not deal with another person.

Not only was Conner informative, he was clear, precises, detailed and amazing to speak with! He went over the pros and cons of each type of flooring we were looking at. Presented new ideas and suggestions that would of never crossed our minds.

He is an incredibly strong asset to Express Flooring, and what's even better is you can tell he really does love the work he does and the relationships he creates along the way!

Thank you for not being "that sales guy" and being a real true person! I will only send my real estate referrals to you Conner!

Had flooring installed by express flooring and it was a mess from sales to install. Left a informative review on google which I won't repeat now. We did receive a response from "owner"
What a joke! Obviously the Owner gets no where near these reviews, if you look at all the bad reviews they have you'll notice it's the same generic response, word for word as all the other reviews.
This company is a joke. The response tells you to call their number to discuss things. WHAT!
You mean the same number that everyone has already tried to call multiple times with no response. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE ESCAPE ARTISTS, Go anywhere else!

Update 8/14/2020: Got back in contact with Brett and the customer service team. They worked with us to resolve all of the remaining issues; the repair / install team they sent was super fast, kind, and did a stellar job as far as we can tell (no more creaking). Even they were surprised by how bad it was though.

While I honestly appreciate the integrity of the company, coming back out to fix everything, I can't give this a full five stars. It was still a huge run-around, very stressful, and half the time the team was here they didn't wear masks which was a little worrisome. There was also just a weird angle choice on the quarter round they put on the stairs (posting a photo), but at least everything is installed now.

Original Review (one star) ------
TL;DR - audio record your in-home estimate / sales meeting to hold the company accountable.

The 'warranty case' representative who called told me plainly they would not fix the incorrect installation, citing that it was too expensive for the company to do so, that it wasn't part of our contract (which it clearly is), and then lied saying we had declined subfloor repairs. What?!

During our sales meeting we specifically asked if subfloor repairs were included. We even offered to do them ourselves if it wasn't a service they provided because the creaking is so bad. But we were told by the Express Flooring Sales Rep (Ryan) that that minor repairs, such as securing loose floorboards, was standard and included in the subfloor prep (which is clearly checked on our contract). Only board replacements would cost extra; WHICH WE AGREED TO HAVE DONE. The sales rep said they couldn't know the extent of repairs needed until the old carpet was removed and that the install team would let us know.

Well the install team came, and they were fast, but once we were able to walk in the room without getting staples in our feet it was obvious they did not secure the boards and they did not say anything about board replacement - neither they or anyone else at the company said anything about the state of the boards or asked about these repairs, so how could we have declined?! The floorboards squeak as badly as before and now I'm simply told it's too late to fix them.

Not to mention installation debacles, since the install teams are subcontractors. The team for 'wood' planks showed up missing half the parts and claimed we had only paid for risers on our stairs, not the full stairs. We had to argue with him and call Express to verify our contract. Then they showed up days later, unscheduled, to install the full stairs but were missing the quarter round moulding and left a half inch gap from incorrect measurements. The stairs also have carpet tacks sticking up so far that my husband cut his foot and you have to walk sideways up the stairs.

To be fair, we're still working with Brett from their customer service department and I hope everything gets resolved but their internal communication is horrible and there are clearly things that do not get communicated from the Sales to the Install team, so be careful.

I will update once / if issues are resolved. Good luck!

This is not a flooring company, they are a sales company. They don't do any of the jobs they are contracted for, the sub every single one of them out. I originally agreed to a job with them, and after himming and hawing over price I was assured I received an excellent deal for $18k. After sleeping on it, I wanted to see a breakdown of the costs and see how much per sqft I was paying. They flat out refused to tell me the square footage that was quoted, so I cancelled the install. Two hours later I received a call saying they would be willing to do the job for $9,999. I was so enraged that they were willing to screw me over knowing they'd make money doing the job for $10k that I told them to stick it.

Some advice for anyone wanting to use this company, make them your last call. Their high pressure sales tactics require you to buy during the first visit from them. So knowing exactly what product you want and the prices of comparable installs will protect you as much as u can be...

Update: In response to my canceling the service, my salesman Neil was kind enough to sign me up for countless health insurance, car dealership, car insurance, and other sales inquiries. I now receive dozens of calls and emails every hour from sales people following up on my request for more information. Thanks Neil...

Salesman cam out to the house and saw the quality carpet that I had and sold me a lesser quality carpet. It has less fibers per square inch and once it's stretched I can see the silver weave below. The salesman claimed there was a one year one hundred percent satisfaction guarantee. It's not. It's only on workmanship or material flaw. I let them know I wasn't happy with the carpet or the misrepresentation by the salesman. I offered to pay the difference for a better quality carpet but they have been mostly unresponsive. I started calling two months ago. Not happy. I wonder if they even have a better carpet or if it's all cheap. Low price for cheap carpet and poor service is not a good deal!

I saw reviews where someone complained that they thought not enough workers on the job. I'm 64 years old and my experience says you won't get 2-3 floor layers on one job. What you'd get are 1 experienced floor guy and 2 temporary help.
The man who laid my huge floor was a CRAFTSMAN. He was proud to do the job and put his name to it. Arturo was amazing. As a former bar owner I had a single craftsman build my entire bar. You can tell. Just like my floors just laid are solid ..... not like the other floors initially done by the original construction company.
Don't be fooled. This is a good company and the installer Arturo was a CRAFTSMAN.

I would give the commercial side for tiling a 5 star review.   My problem is with the carpet installation and customer communication.   2 days of no show with no contact or explanation.   I have called many times, being patient and tolerant,  but I am running out of both.    How difficult is it to say yes or no.....our house is in total disarray but they obviously don't care about the impact of thier horrible scheduling practices.  I am ready to cancel the order and just find another company that actually wants to do business.   I have one bedroom done.....4 others are waiting.  Wtf.

Dustin Welch showed up for the appointment and he had another guy with him he said he was training.  They were both very nice. My husband was not present because he's a Hospice Chaplain and had to go see a patient.  They proceeded to show me the vinyl samples they brought . I picked the one I liked and Dustin went to do the measurements. when he returned he began working the numbers. So when he started he said it would be about  $10,000.00 then he said but we can get it down to around $8,000.00 but because you are a senior and your husband is a front line worker we can do it for $5,000.00.  I said I need to confirm this with my husband and he said well this price is good only till I leave. If you don't take this you will have to call and make another appointment.  I ask him for the measurements he said he didn't have that information.  I ask him if I would get a written estimate he said that they don't give written estimates. Do not use this company. Find a company that can be upfront and not pressures you.

Just had upstairs recarpeted. 3 bedrooms, hallway, and stairs.  After install, the contractors noticed the carpet in 2 of the bedrooms were a different color and pointed it out to us.  Same carpet and pattern, just darker shades than the rest.
We called Express flooring, spoke to several people with our story. Finally, got to Chris.  Asked for a discount since it was not what we picked out.  He said they would come back and tear everything out and start over.   We don't want that, we don't want to go through that again. We work from home, it was noisy and messy, and do not want to move our furniture and items again.  We said we would live with it but expected a discount.
Chris said he would see what he could do. Well, Chris has disappeared. Won't call us back.
What horrible customer service.  I will never again go to this company and will tell everyone I know. I feel like I have been ripped off.

Run.
We contacted EF to look at replacing carpets and possibly tile in our house. The salesman seemed bent on selling us carpet, even though my wife was interested in possibly going all tile. We ended up going with a carpet replacement and scheduled it a week from the sale. We paid up front in full. The week leading up to the job no one contacted us to confirm. We prepped our house like they told us, to take all items off the furniture they would have to move. On the day of the job, we had to call them to ask if they were coming and they said no. We were livid. After a lot of noise they said they'd try to get someone to come out later, but then called us in an hour saying they wouldn't make it that day. They rescheduled for the following week and offered a $150 refund. We weren't happy but agreed. We had to live a whole other week with our house rearranged for a carpet replacement.

The following week I called and made sure we were confirmed for our job, they assured us we were. Come the day of the job they called AGAIN and said they weren't going to make it. This time we had enough. We told them if they didn't come that day then we would cancel the order completely. They were able to send someone out. The contractor spent as much time talking to my wife as he did actually working. They finally finished that evening.

A few weeks later I got a call from a customer feedback representative and I related the story above to him with the fact that we still hadn't seen any rebate. He apologized (which is pretty much all he could do) and assured me that he would personally make sure that we would get it.

It has now been several weeks since that interaction and we still haven't seen dime one from these people. We don't expect to. Don't let the commercials and jingle fool you, this is a shifty operation which will leave you hanging at every opportunity. Run.

I'm going to summarize because a lot of things went wrong and were frustrating for us.

We needed to redo the floors in our whole house, ~1500 square feet. Half with vinyl and the rest (bedrooms) in carpet. This job was a nightmare and we are still living with disruption from it.

Biggest issue: the business model sets the customer up for failure. There is no core team that does all the work. The company makes money by hiring subcontractors to do large jobs for small amounts of money and through their sales force which upcharges you with car-salesmen-type tactics. We thought we were paying extra for service, convenience, and a good warranty, but have been failed on all accounts. We paid them to level our whole house (which they said was a $9000 service) and they only leveled half of it and were going to cover up the un-leveled area with carpet without telling us. When we realized what was going on we tried multiple times a day to get ahold of management (first we were ghosted for 5 days (though it takes seconds to get to the salesperson), then had to wait 2 weeks to get an appointment with their warranty guy) their primary strategy was gaslighting, and according to the warranty guy, it was fine for them to breach the agreement *because they typically charged more so we couldn't complain*.

Express Flooring also did not clean our house as agreed on, they did not move furniture as agreed, and they left a huge scratch in the new vinyl in the middle of our living room that the subcontractors have already rescheduled at least 7 times with us late on the day of (causing us to miss a number of days of work) and when we called them out on it the subcontractor started calling in sick. They almost caused a plumbing clog by washing concrete down our sink but fortunately we were able to fix it.

They've cost us about 20 extra phone calls, multiple days of missed work and time spent waiting for the contractors who never showed up, $550 in extending our motel and hiring cleaners and movers to finish the job express flooring agreed to do, and have been very unprofessional and condescending throughout this whole process. We thought we were paying for convenience and a good warranty and have just been thoroughly screwed. If you're hiring them for a simple job such as next-day 1-room carpet installation in an already-empty room, it might be worth it to pay extra and get them scheduled the next-day, but if it's anything more you're probably going to lose the gamble.

The saleswoman Kim did all her calculations by hand on the calculator and would not write down her work and calculations or an itemized list of expenses, and just came up with a magical "this is the price for everything," but "it only applies while I am here at your house." Only after asking multiple times did she send us a very rough list by email. A number of times she would say, "I have to go to my car and call my boss" and magically come back with an offer that was somewhat lower. At one point she "accidentally" switched digits right before having us sign the contract that would have added a few hundred dollars to her commission.

Our contract was to include getting your furniture moved in and out of rooms and replaced where it used to be, and then a general cleaning/tidying so that you wouldn't have to do a deep clean or hire cleaners afterwards. Afterwards when we walked around the house and pointed out everything that was not done according to contract they just shrugged and said that the overall price we got was so good that we couldn't really ask them to adhere to the contract.

We asked them to come out and fix the HUGE 10 foot scratch they left in the middle of the living room (I think they pushed our piano over it), and the subcontractors prioritized new jobs over us so they cancelled the fix-it job the day-of literally 5 times (after my husband took the time off work to stay home so they could get it done) until the 3rd time we pointed this out to management and even then they called in sick another I think 2 times before we finally got them begrudgingly in the house to fix the scratch (and we had to double check their work to make sure they fixed the whole scratch too)

When we showed the shoddy work to other contractors (handymen and the flooring guy at home depot) they were shocked but said this unfortunately was similar to what they'd heard about EF in general. I'm still scrubbing the footprints off the floor and the concrete splashed on our previously newly painted walls, I'm out an extra $500 for cleaners, piano movers (they didn't move it to the right room), and it was a huge stress on us, our jobs, and our baby to be left in the lurch and having to extend our motel stay by another week.

Horrid customer service and games regarding their quotes! The guy that came out to measure couldn't tell us the price per sq foot for the product we picked out. (Tile) The price was INSANE! Then their computer "program" comes up with some crazy 33.5% discount. Still over $38,000 for 1200 sq foot of tile! Be careful with these guys.

This place is soooo bad!  Please see the photos of the SECOND carpet they installed in my home.  The first one disintegrated too!  They also do not wear masks or gloves like they do in the commercials.  Nor do they stand by their guarantee.  It turns out it's not even them who guarantee the carpet.  It's the manufacturer.  Who is saying my carpet is perfectly fine!!!
This carpet is 1 year old, btw.

Kyle provided an in house free consultation/quote for our master bedroom. He did a great job of taking us through all the options and was very patient, a great communicator and didn't give off pushy sales vibes. He knew we had just had a bad experience having our concrete stained and that we needed the carpet laid urgently. We saw Kyle at 12pm yesterday and he had his team at our house for installation by 7am this morning (a Saturday!). The team doing the installation were super polite and professional and were careful not to track dust or dirt throughout the house. They completed the job within 2 hours. We are very happy with the result and are relieved we chose to go with them over a few other companies we were also quoted by. The price they offered was competitive and the quality of the carpet is great. Highly recommend!

Read the fine print - the fine print is on the BACKSIDE of the handwritten document - REALLY easy to miss, as you flip that page to read the next one.  The design consultant comes in, with urgency, tells you that the product is available for a discount if you agree today!   You verbalize a concern, the design consultant has a response - no problem, see it all the time etc. etc.  But the design consultant is there to sell and show you the product and get you to sign.  The real people that you should be talking to are the installers as they are the ones that know flooring and they are also the ones who can jack up the price for you.  The price on the "contract" is an estimate only.  Ended up being double the cost of what the design consultant said.

Would not trust this company, don't trust the company, the design consultants, installment managers, customer service etc. - at each step, one said something different from what actually happened - sad that this is a local company.

Despite the perky, sunny ads describing how easy and simple the process is, it's been the most stressful home improvement process that I've experienced.  Prior to signing with them, I hadn't read the reviews.  Now that I have, I am glad they walked away.

The salesman came to our home without a tape measure, without samples or even photos. He just walked around and looked at the areas of floor and explained to my mom that is on a fixed income that her 1200 approximate area could be as high as 50K or as low as 20K.
He offered discounts that were only available if she committed right then..
Needless to say, we said we need another opinion. Don't waste your time unless you're loaded.

I should've looked at Yelp before talking to this company but I heard from a few people that they were good so I met them to get a quote. The exact same thing happened to me as it happened to another reviewer's wife. Met CJ, he asked if I could make the decision on the flooring on that day. We went through the process and he gave me 3 prices. Did not give me the price for the flooring I picked, the measurements, a breakdown of the prices, or anything. When I said it was above what I was thinking (he first quoted 1,000 sq ft for 15k), he gave me the "incentives" so it dropped to 14k and lastly to 11k when I said I was looking for something around 10k. At that point, I knew it was just a game of trying to get more money. I quoted with other companies in the area and they all came around 5k to 6k. It seems like they like to prey on women. Very disappointing. I was excited about having them do the floor in my house but after that meeting, I will never do business with them. Do your research before working with them. Don't fall for their speech about being in business for a long time and having overstock for a lower price and crap like that.

Express Flooring overall gets 3 to 4 stars, however the service technician, Daniel that they sent gets 5 stars for the service he provided. He was able to fix the seams and tack strip issues that we had. Additionally he was very professional and seemed to truly care about doing a quality job. The customer service group were able to get him scheduled promptly which was very much appreciated.

Still not thrilled about some of the wear issues with a supposed "commercial grade" carpet that we paid a premium for. We vacuum a minimum twice weekly and with just two of us at home it doesn't seem like it should show the wear/matting in front of furniture.

I will give credit we're it is due that we absolutely love the hard surface flooring that they installed throughout most of the house and have had absolutely no issues.

My experience has been mixed.  The flooring I had installed is beautiful.  The plumbing issues generated at my home by having the tile guy remove and then try to reinstall was a nightmare.  Water everywhere!  Now I cannot get anyone to return my call.  Will not recommend this company to anyone ever.

Since posting my concern on Yelp I have received a return call and my issues have been resolved.  However I believe Express should employ a real plumber for the removal and reinstallation of the bathroom toilets. It is not as easy as it looks.  The tile guy did beautiful work but he was not a plumber.

We hired express flooring to replace the carpet with lament flooring. We were given a price, and within a week the flooring was 85 per cent completed. Then the communation went dark. Our phone calls were not returned. Days turned into weeks. We finally got in touch with the company and threatened to call the register of contractors. All Express flooring had to finish was the molding around the walls.

It eventually took 6 weeks to complete the project . My best guess is that the company is having difficulty find competent installers, and are winging it day to day. We never received a explanation from the company . Be aware in trusting this current management from the sales department through the install to completion.

After getting a couple quotes from some of the larger companies (thinking it'd protect us from possible shady contractors even if we paid slightly more), we decided to go with Express Flooring...unfortunately, they did not live up to what they advertised.

During the estimate/sales presentation, we were shown vinyl plank flooring with a wood-look. It was what we were looking for. Plus, they stated it was commercial grade; therefore, it would ware great in comparison to residential and would be difficult, almost impossible to scratch. The salesman even took out his metal key and "tried" to scratch the sample. Nothing happened, so we figured, "Great! We won't need to replace our floors for another 10+ years." This is what sold us and we signed the contract.

Unfortunately, we began to see scratches within a month or two and has just been getting much worse at a year mark. Additionally, we've only had our dining room table, chairs and a high chair (all with plastic or felt feet; not metal), and under typical use.

Over the past month and a half we've been going back and forth with the company to try and find a solution as they guarantee their workmanship and installation. Also, we've been calling them each week for the past 3-4 weeks, always getting the, "they are on the other line, but we'll have them give you a call back". Each week, we have not received a call back.

We've tried to allow them time to work with us but after this amount of time, we wanted to warn the rest of the public. BE CAREFUL to know exactly what you are getting and don't fall for the sales gimmicks of "this won't scratch", "it's commercial grade", "lowest price guaranteed."

Express Flooring - so bad I don't know where to start.
1. Ignore the adds, coupons and special offers, they mean nothing. They will take for all you all they can get. So know up-front what you're willing to pay for by square footage. The sales people will offer you many fake discounts and then negotiate the highest price they can get you to pay. My quote was literally "Something under 20k" A ridiculously high price to get me to negotiate down.
2. No respect for property. They made no attempt to cover or protect my home from dust, even when I supplied the sheets and coverings. Used no vacuums when grinding. See pictures. I spent 4 days cleaning everything (walls, all clothing, drawers and contents, every appliance, nick-nack, etc). Dumped concrete water in my flower beds killing everything in it. Stole food from the freezer. I needed slight repairs afterwards, but refused to let them back in my home, opting to do it myself.
3. I could not communicate my concerns with the workers; we spoke different languages, and they wore no protection for their eyes, ears or lungs. Judging from the thickness of the concrete dust, they will have breathing issues.
To be fair they did a good job on the floor, but a true professional would not have neglected my property, themselves or the customer with such indifference. Find someone else and protect yourself, or if for no other reason than to protect workers from exploitation. The least they could have done was insist they wore PPE.

I did not have flooring done by Express Flooring however I did set up an appointment for an estimate. Understandably, my husband and I had picked three reputable companies to request quotes from before we chose, as our project was large (about a $10,000 project). We had two other companies take their time and measure and give us a price range which was very helpful for us in making a decision. I was hopeful about Express however, unfortunately, the sale rep that came to our house refused to show us any product or even measure our space without our verbal commitment to making a choice with them right then in there. I told him I had one more company coming the same day and would be able to call back and make a decision by the end of the day and he insisted that this is impossible as there product is constantly being bought off the shelves. I was shocked that he continued to refuse to bring in any product or measure to give me any kind of a ballpark estimate. I eventually agreed to just reschedule however, it's safe to say I was not planning on having Express come back and treat us as if we are wasting their time. The flooring industry requires that you receive in home estimates when comparing prices and I'm sure Express is well aware of this. I was very disappointed in the pushy sales tactic.

We chose Healthy Home Flooring instead who was more than willing to take their time to give us an estimate, knowing that we were shopping around. Their customer service was absolutely amazing and is the one and only reason we chose them among our other options.

As a side note, my parents also had an appointment with express for their home project and unfortunately they also cancelled after hearing about our experience. Very disappointing, however made our decision quite easy.

If I could give zero stars I would. This company cares about quantity not quality. My install was a disaster. Missing chunks of base boards, gaps not filled in with grout and some areas 2 colors of grout used (gray and white). It looks like a 5 year did the work.t. Vinyl flooring was not cut properly in some areas so they pieced together little parts and hope you don't notice.  Local Manager is not very responsive or apologetic for his staff's sloppy and poor craftsmanship. Don't trust them. Waited over a week for someone to come back and fix it, took the day off and at the last minute they were a no show. Horrible customer service. This was the worst experience and quality I have ever experienced. I regret 10k spent on this shady company! Don't do it. You will regret it.

They quoted us about $26,000 for a 525 square foot area of our home. When we met with the sales rep, he also couldn't give us price by square foot in order to justify that insane quote, and he only had 3 samples for the style we were looking for. The process was very unprofessional as well, he came in with just a note pad and pen, no computer with information about prices, no supporting documents for their pricing, it all had a very scam-like feel. We ended up finding another company, Floors N'More, that did our tile for $4.50 per square foot, we ended up paying just about $2,500.

What a nightmare of a experience. DO NOT USE.  They use subcontractors that dont care about the customer experience.  This company customer service is non-existent.  No way to talk to a manager unless you leave several voice mail.  Even than I did not get a call back most of the time.  Took twice as long as they stated to complete the vinyl plank portion of my job.  The vinyl subcontractor caused $1500 worth of damage to my home, had to finally file a claim with Expess Flooring Insurance carrier (EMC) to coverage the damages they caused. EMC  paid out for plumbing damage,  damage to the walls and for the destroyed trim the sub was not suppose to remove. I have pictures of damages and emails with operation manager from Express Flooring.  I will admit the carpet contactor did a great job and was quick,  polite and wonderful to work with.

None of the tile installers wore masks. Communication was very poor. I was told there would be a crew of 3 but no one ever introduced themselves and at least 8 different people  were in and out of my house without me knowing if they were even employees. The grout crew was yelling, laughing and blaring music. It was a party atmosphere in my house the last day. The lead tiler did not intervene.
They agreed I would always have one of my bathrooms working but that did not happen even after pleading. When they left the final day, they told me someone would be back at 5:30 to complete caulking and bolt the toilet down. I was told I couldn't use the commode. I signed off on the paperwork and began calling Express Flooring the next day when no one showed up.  It took several hours for a call back and was I was told they'd look into it. I never heard back.  At 3 p.m. 3 men showed  and said they couldn't bolt the toilet down until next week. My cabinets, walls, doors and baseboards will have to be repainted and patched in spots and I'll be cleaning grout off doors, walls and baseboards for days. They removed my  door sweep and just left outside. So unprofessional and disappointing compared to my last tile job. I got a good value but paid the price in customer service. Don't sign off on the final work until you're satisfied since they demand a cashiers check in advance so you have recourse if they fail to honor their commitment. They had no supervisor approve the final work either. There was no supervisor here the final 2 1/2 days and he only stopped by briefly twice. They could have addressed any problems if they did but customer satisfaction is clearly not a priority. Neither is pride in workmanship as you can see from the pics.

Had them install carpet less than 3 years ago. Supposed to have 25 year wear and lifetime installation warranties.  We had them restretch puckers/wrinkles at 1 year-tech noted premature wear. I have experienced so many issues with my floor I wish I would have kept my old flooring. We have had repairs on our floor done two times since the original install and each time the floor looks worse. A third guy was sent out to do an inspection, he took notes and pics and said he would get a manager to come out and would also try to get Cathy to come out to see this horrible
flooring job.  Three weeks went by and we heard nothing and then on Friday, 6/25/21 Trevor called to see how things were going and when we told him no one called or repaired anything since the last inspector came out he said that guy quit after two weeks on the job and didn't provide any info on the inspection . Trevor said he would be out Monday morning, 6/28/21 to look at our floors. After he was finished he said that he would call us back by the end of the day and the repairs would be done on Friday, 7/2/21 or Monday 7/5/21. It is now 7/5/21 and there are no repairs being done and Trevor never even bothered to call us back on 6/28/21 like he said he would so here I sit with my $16,000 floors that look like $6.00 floors waiting for Express Flooring to follow up again! My suggestion is to read your mission statement and abide by it.

We selected this company based on the advertising we saw on TV and because they agreed to move the furniture. We didn't do our research or read reviews. That was our BIG mistake.

1. Our sales meeting with Bob went smoothly. We set an installation date a month out from our booking date. During this sales meeting day, I was reminded several times of what would happen on the day of install: Someone will call you in the morning and give me the window of time that the installers would arrive. On the day of the install I waited... and waited and waited... Finally, around 11am I called to find out why I had not received a call. I got the phone call run around for at least 2 hours... Evidently someone put the wrong date in the computer for installation. The new flooring was being installed in a vacation home and I made a special 100-mile trip to make sure I was here on the correct date.
2. New install date was the next day. Two men showed up in an old beat up pick up truck. The only way I could identify them was from their t-shirts. One installer spoke NO English and the other I could barely understand. They never even introduced themselves; just wanted to know where the area was where they had to work. They didn't wear masks.
3. During the moving of the furniture they were blasting their music so loud, I had to ask them to turn it down. It states in the contract that they will move the furniture, but in fine print says that they are not professional movers. Well, that is for sure, as they put two big dents in one of our dressers. (If they can't move furniture without damaging it, then don't offer that service!). They put sharp cutting tools and cans of soda on our wood furniture. Placed containers of the sealant/cement on the rug. Turned the ceiling fan on so high in one of the rooms that the fan was swinging on the ceiling and a blade broke off the fan. I was told they were going to replace fan but as of yet, have no idea how that will happen. The installers wanted me to give them bottles of water (which I didn't have); and seemed insulted when I told them we drank tap water. After playing music on their phones all day, they wanted to use my iPhone charger to charge their phones.
4. The installers left on Thursday afternoon saying they would be back the next day to complete the corking between the baseboards and the floor in one room and two closets. They left a total mess throughout the house. I expected to have dust, but the mess they left was beyond just dust. Even my patio furniture was ruined where they mixed the cement. It took me 3 hours to clean my patio area after they left. When they left on Thursday, they wanted me to sign off on the job even though it was not completed. I told them I wouldn't sign off until after they came back and finished the job. The installers were so angry with me, they stormed out of the house slamming doors. Totally unprofessional.
5. The next day, Friday: I waited until 2pm for them to return to complete the job. I finally called again. I spoke to Devin who told me that Antonio, who is the manager of this area would send someone out Saturday morning between 8-10 to complete the job.
6. At 11:30am on Saturday I called the office AGAIN to find out if anyone was coming, as no one had showed up. It was only after I made that call that the same two guys came to finish job. They knew they were doing corking and came with the cork gun, but no rags or paper towels to clean the excess; totally not prepared. I had to supply them with rags to wipe up the excess.

I've only had the flooring (vinyl planks) for a couple of days, but I love the look of the product and I think it will work for us. So, I'm pleased with the product, but extremely disappointed in the service. I will most likely never use this company again.

Juan and his assistant did a FANTASTIC JOB of installing our new carpet in our bedroom. He even vacuumed the area outside that room to make sure that no dirt would track into it. I found both men to be VERY courteous, hardworking and friendly. We also found Jared, the sales associate, to be very knowledgeable, up front and very easy to work with. All in all Express Flooring had the job done right and all within a couple of days LONG BEFORE my deadline of before Thanksgiving!!! I'll DEFINITELY come back to Express and recommend you to all of my friends and family.

My brother fell and couldn't walk, he had multiple different tiles in his house. I met with a rep from express flooring to choose a vinyl tile to redo his whole townhouse, including closets, bathrooms. Representative of Express Flooring spent 2 hours with us as we clearly communicated exactly what what we wanted, including direction of tile , taking out baseboards, removing one toilet and not replacing it because we were buying a new toilet. The demo day came and Mike was there for 2 hours maybe at the most, did no work other than dropping off time, next day time was promised because I was taking care of brother at my house and brothers roommate had to go to work. Did not show up in time, and only communicated with roommate not the owner of house. I called and left message on Mikes phone to call me, never called me back. Taking care of brothers needs made it impossible for me to be there and I communicated that as well. All tile was laid in the wrong direction, ( after specifically covering this with Express flooring Representative) I called Mike and informed him about this mistake and he said roommate instructed him? ( 1. Who takes instructions from a roommate and not the homeowner, 2. Roommate never talked to Mike about direction of tile )  Mike didn't have any instructions on his work order about baseboards, toilet or direction of tile. Huge breakdown in communication throughout this company, and all they did was say " I'm sorry".  Don't get tile here, ever, huge mistake on my part!!!

The sales person was all about making the deal and he left some very important facts out about the property owner, like she is in a wheelchair and will be having some home cabinetry work in the important kitchen being done.  The owner was very disappointed in the work done by the installers and she will not be recommending the company.  The company never came by to fix the mistakes and due to wheelchair it is very important.  The owner will have to hire another company to come in and fix the very important problem she is having using her mobility.  The workers were friendly and clean.

Vince with express flooring made any problem correct.  We feel very satisfied with the flooring installed.  Thank you for making us feel we made the right decision to choose Express Flooring.  I wish I had pictures, of well.

These folks are quick - both jobs though took about 3x longer than they quoted.  Except they did a FANTASTIC JOB - so hard to complain.  And one of the jobs required them to float concrete to bring the floor level with the adjacent floor and took longer to dry then they anticipated.   We were happy enough with the first job to use them again.  We have one more floor to replace - but the price we were quoted was more than we wanted to spend so we put that project on hold.

*Military BEWARE*

I had an in home consultation Tuesday, 27-July-2021. My experience with the independent design consultant, Wesley Sorce-Zirnheld was more than unfavorable. Things started out good until I mentioned the quotes I have gotten from other estimates. The prices that I mentioned was not an indication of not wanting their service or not being about to afford the service. I brought up the prices to weigh out the competition and what they offered me. He turned very reluctant and defensive and from that point on was rude. It became a very awkward situation that Wesley put me in. He finally grabbed the samples that I had to ask for multiple times, and it was unneeded pressure as he wanted me to pick and choose right there. I've done many business transactions and this is by far the worst. It became uncomfortable as he didn't want to finish the estimate out and indicated that the offer ends when he leaves... The rudeness didn't stop there. When I briefly asked about the finance options just to see what was available, he made unnecessary comments about when the payments need to be paid and how there's no extensions... I pointed out to him that it seemed like he thought I couldn't afford the service and his reply was, "well your a staff sergeant in the military and he knows how much I make." After that I ended the session. If you want to weigh your options and get estimates to make the right purchase this is not the company. Take your business elsewhere. A 900-1000sqft job was quoted at 19k. He gave a rate with no price breakdown of material, demo or  labor while making a multitude of crude comments.

Would not recommend.

Nice try Express Flooring
Requested a Quote I will say they did arrive on schedule. (2 stars)The sales pitch is that of a used car salesman. First they want to know  what's your budget then they pitch a lot  of what they will offer if you buy today.I asked if he could take measurements and see  some samples .we were told we had to answer some questions first When we told him we were price shopping  and other places giving estimates he said they were probably not the place for us. I never did get an estimate.

This is the second year in a row that we have used express flooring for our rental and we will definitely never use them again.

We had issues the first time and should've learned our lesson then, but decided to give them a second chance.

Our rental did not have power, which the sales associate was informed of. He told my husband that it would not be an issue. The installers came the next day and called me saying there was no power at the house. Ok, why were they not told by the sales associate about it?? Thankfully we live across the driveway from the rental and told them they could use our power. They had to come back the next day with an extension cord. Well they brought a long enough extension cord but it wasn't getting enough power so they could not finish our stairs. The installer said we could rent a generator to get the stairs done. Well why would I do that, when the sales associate told us it would be no problem to get the job done without power? My husband reached out the person that was in charge of our project, Devin, and Devin told my husband no problem I'll take care of it. The installers told us they would be back Saturday, two days after, to finish up the stairs.

Saturday rolls around and we are waiting to hear from the installers and nothing. I called the installer in the morning and afternoon and I sent a text with no response. We didn't get any calls from Devin either. My husband called Devin around 6 PM Saturday. Devin was rude, saying why didn't you call earlier and there's still no power at the house so the job could not be done. Umm hello, you were informed of that and told us you would take care of it. The conversation ended with someone will schedule with you on Monday.

Monday came and I got a call from Brent saying the installer called out and could not get it scheduled today. Ok no problem, let's do it Tuesday and I told him that there was still no power at the house. Tuesday came, and the installer called out again. Brent said he would have someone over Wednesday for sure. Wednesday comes, did not get a call from the installer to inform us they were at the house. I get home after 5 from work and go to look at the stairs and nothing is done. Call express flooring and told some rep about what was happening. Brent leaves me a VM at 7:00 PM saying we had someone go out there but there was no power at the house so nothing can be done. ARE YOU FING KIDDING ME?!?

We talked to Brent the next day and told us he was not aware of the entire situation. He said he would get someone scheduled and they will get it taken care of. Well a week later the stairs finally got done. There was no follow up call after the stairs were done and no apology for the inconvenience. We had our renter move in later because the job took so long.

Horrible company that definitely does not know how to communicate internally and does not care about customer service at all.

As you can see their response below customer service is not a top priority. Never once did I tell them the power would be on. It was in fact the opposite. We continuously told there was no power at the house. If you need power to complete the job then you should have never accepted it and it was known from the beginning there was no power at the property.

They don't show up.  They constantly call to schedule,  then start calling days ahead of time to confirm an appointment.  Then cancel during the time of the appointment.  Both appointments were for 6-8pm. Both times they called and canceled at 6 or 6:15pm. If they can't even get out to give an estimate,  how lousy would their service be if we hired them.  Very poor service.

ZERO Stars!

This company has been jerking my 81 year old mother around for going on three weeks now. They've cancelled, rescheduled, no-showed, rescheduled, and cancelled so many times we've lost count. When she asked for a refund within the 3-day allotted time to cancel, they talked her out of it, promising that the very next day her flooring would be installed, and offering her a $500 refund. Now, beginning the THIRD WEEK of the worst customer service ever, and once again cancelling TODAY (on a Monday)  and promising it will now be installed this coming FRIDAY, we are at our wits end. They refuse to refund her money - meanwhile, she's sitting in her tiny trailer with her furniture pushed into her bedroom and only a chair set up in her living room, because she was ready for installation over two weeks ago when they promised it would be installed. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. We're about to hire an attorney to sue for her money back. I would NEVER recommend this company after how they've committed FRAUD against my 81 year old mother. They should be shut down. TOTAL SCAM. This has been incredibly stressful for her, and she doesn't need this kind of HARRASSMENT. Get your act together, "Express" flooring.

The sales guy was super helpful and we were excited that we'd be able to get new carpet so quickly. Didn't hurt to get $1,000 discount for signing on the spot either. After further discussion, we decided it would be better to wait a few months. We have a sick dog who is just going to ruin the new carpet. I called the next day to cancel the order. They offered an even lower price, but that was not the issue and "Rick" agreed to cancel. They were super quick to take our money but it's been 10 days and I still haven't received a refund. I spoke to someone yesterday who said all the managers were in a meeting and that I would get a call back by end of day. Of course, I did not. I called and left a message today for Rick; the manager I spoke to regarding the cancellation. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't call back either. This whole experience feels like a sham. We certainly will not consider Express Flooring in the future.

Update 7/23/2020: I was going to add a star based on my conversation with Henry yesterday, but that was negated by the Yelp response from Michael H. The facts are: Express Flooring failed to communicate that I should expect a check as opposed to refunding my credit card transaction. If the check had been issued promptly, rather than waiting four days, this wouldn't be an issue. And, the fact remains that a negative Yelp review will get you quicker assistance than contacting the company directly.

Expect to spend thousands of dollars and not get any communication, get hung up on, have their people not show up days in a row, and work be pushed back several weeks, as well as having to be redone. Any concerns you have will be brushed off and never addressed. Not the kind of customer service I'd expect from a company who has been in the industry for many years.

I had such a disappointing experience with Express Flooring. Install manager calls to schedule my install for the following week between 8-10am. Install date comes around and NO ONE SHOWS UP. I called customer service three times to see what's up and each time they say "I will have an install manager call you and put high priority on this." Hours go by and no one calls me. I call again to tell them I want a refund for wasting my time. They then say a manager has to call me to confirm the cancellation. This time I actually get a call back and I'm told the carpet I bought wasn't even in stock!? Seems like something you should tell your customer before scheduling install. Pathetic customer service.

The first estimator that came out was friendly but used a lot of foul language. We could have lived with that but had bigger problems with one of the installers. The main installer was professional but the young man that came with him was horrible. He was on and off his phone with, what I am assuming was his baby's momma. His mask was pulled down the entire time and his phone was on speaker as he laughed, yelled, and had VERY innappropriate conversations. His pants kept dropping to his knees so we saw a lot of his backside throughout the day. The only reason we didn't ask them to leave was that we are selling the home and it had to be completed that day. Would not recommend this business.

My husband and I decided to work with Express Flooring for our tile work. We had them demo nd replace the entire house. The tile they had in stock was exactly what we were looking for and we fell in love with the look and style. Initially it was a very easy process working with this company, Cory was our salesman and he came on time to our house, went through everything in detail and was very friendly and professional so no complaints there. We mentioned we wanted to get baseboards done as well and he assured us they do everything and even had us pick out baseboards. We gave our down payment and scheduled the date 2 weeks out. The tile installers came right on time for the day we planned. I want to stress that the men who installed the tile were amazing, they worked fast, clean and were very friendly and did a beautiful job with our tile. They finished their job and we were left with no baseboards, after trying to get ahold of Express flooring multiple times, FINALLY we got a call back stating the baseboards would be installed the following week and we had scheduled a time with the man that was actually installing. He never showed and we had to reschedule again. He finally showed up nd was nice and started the job, he finished in about 4 hours, but said he needed to come back on the following Monday to finish the job as there are a lot of spots that are installed poorly and unfinished. He never showed and we have not gotten ahold of him. So we are left with unfinished baseboards with tons of flaws! We now need to find someone and pay to have the job done correctly. Needless to say, this was not a stress free experience and looking back I wish we worked with another company.

We had both carpet and vinyl flooring installed. Our installer did an amazing job. He was fun, thoughtful and couldn't do enough to keep us happy over three days of work. He removed baseboards and then reinstalled once vinyl was in and you can't tell anything was done! Awesome work!!
Now, we have recommended express to a friend over the last few weeks. She was given a huge quote! She has since gone to Home Depot and found a quote of less than half of what Express gave her. This has left us unwilling to recommend Express any longer! We are hugely disappointed. I sincerely Hope price gouging during this pandemic is not being practiced!!! Please follow up on this issue!

Got vinyl flooring installed, was told it was commercial grade (hah) we had issues with corners of the planks curling up. They did manage to fix 2 of them but the one in my living room is not fixed...he tried to glue down the corner and it didn't work now a tiny piece has ripped off the corner. It looks like they didn't sweep up the concrete floor very well before they put down the vinyl. I can see bumps under the planks. They missed a spot in the corner of my kitchen, yes the fixed it with a piece of plank that doesn't match or fit the pattern. The worst was when they came to bust out the tile in the kitchen/living room and bathrooms. No coverings put over my very new appliances and newly painted cabinets and walls. I have never had this done before so did not know that the flying pieces of tile went everywhere they stuck in my walls and cabinets and dented my appliances. DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING. They are very expensive also!

Do not use Express Flooring unless you want to take the risk of being completely frustrated and exasperated at the lack of quality in materials used, the poorest of customer service, and installers that need additional training.  I cannot recommend Express Flooring to anyone looking to install carpet in your home. First, the quality of the carpeting is poor, the manufacturer of the carpet is unknown. Second, the carpet padding is made from recycled plastic, and there are hard pieces of plastic in the padding. After the installation of the carpet on my stairway, I discovered a hard rock of plastic on one of the steps, which hurt my foot every time I went up and down the steps. I called Express Flooring multiple times and no one ever called me back. Refusing to give up, I continued to call and finally someone called back and scheduled a time for the installation team to come back out and resolve the hard rock or nail in the padding. They lifted up the carpet, and discovered a hard rock of plastic in the padding. They cut out a small square in the padding to remove the hard rock of plastic, and replaced it with a piece of rock-free padding. Unfortunately, the installer, put a dirty, greasy tool on the carpet and stained my new carpet. This was of course an accident, but I was exasperated because while they corrected the hard rock in the padding that was hurting my foot when I walked on the step, now I had a stain on my new carpeting. Again, I called Express Flooring repeatedly, and they always said someone was going to call me back, but no one does. After refusing to give up again, I continued to call and call. Finally, someone called me back and said that someone else would call me to schedule a time for him to come out and try to remove the stain from the carpet. He never called. No one has come out to clean the stain caused by the installer. So as an Express Flooring customer, I have a stain on my new carpet that was caused by their subcontractor installer. I regret not using Home Depot again for my new carpet. I used Home Depot before and I was completely satisfied with the entire process. It is not worth it to save a few pennies and go with Express Flooring, which will turn into a ginormous debacle. Life is too short to have to go through such a completely stressful experience.

Express Home Flooring called this morning on the day I was expecting them out for a repair saying they have no one availble. This wouldnt be such a big deal if it wasn't the 4th time they have done this to me. This last appointment had been scheduled for 2 weeks. The guy on the phone today was an absolute ass about it so that was doubly insulting. I have used them 3 different times and had been pretty satisfied however today I am now a disgruntled customer. Each time they call they say they have no one available,  why set appointments if you have no intent of servicing them. I will never use them again.

So unhappy with Express Flooring's customer service. The number of mishaps, lack of communication, and poor follow-through are too many to count -- and nothing is even installed! They sold me on the "express" and "we'll work with you and your general contractor" but a month later, I'm still without flooring. When things first started to go wonky, I called and asked to speak to a supervisor. It took two days of calling to actually reach someone who told me they were sorry, that they'd take care of us and make it right. They haven't. Today, installers were expected to put in carpeting. Nearly half the day is gone and we haven't even received a call as to when they'll arrive...or IF they'll arrive as planned. I've tried to call and just get placed on long holds and voicemails. The only thing that's been "express" is them taking my money. So frustrated.

Minus the star..
I called this company to have carpeting installed and  a salesman came over and after he introduced himself  his next question was , " what's your budget ?  His response was  basically it's not going to happen.
He showed me several samples of carpet and I choose a high quality carpet grade along with a
good padding. He also promised to haul away the old carpeting that my husband and I removed.
I paid $ 6676.00 for the carpet and he told me I saved $ 2000.00 in discounts. Right !!
When the installers arrived two days later they brought different carpet, not what I ordered and I told them not to install that bait and switch garbage.
I had to make numerous calls with no returns and finally the salesman called and said he would bring the correct carpeting that I purchased.
I told him it should have been the correct carpeting in the first place.
I'm still waiting for my refund ,I did purchase better carpeting from another company and saved over $ 3400.00
I EXPRESS to you too get several estimates before getting ripped off.

Update 06/12/21:
Shortly after this review, I received a message from someone with the title of business manager stating they wanted to help make sure we were "well taken care of from here on out". We received a call this morning stating that the installer would be here between 8 - 10am to finish the job. At 11:30 am still no one showed up, no phone call saying they were running late, so we called and asked for the installation manager to call us back, as no one had an answer to what was going on. 12 pm still no phone call, so we called again, this time we supposedly spoke with a manager who "guaranteed" they would be here between 1 - 1:30 pm today. We asked that they call before they come so we knew for sure they were on their way and that we would be home, as after wasting 5 days stuck at home waiting for these jokers to finish a 2 - 3 day job we had errands that had to be run. No problem they will be there. Rushing back at 12:45 to make sure we didn't miss anyone.  It is now 1:31 pm, no call, non one has shown up. So much for the business manager making sure we were going to be taken care of. So much for another guarantee from this company who have a lot words and excuses, but zero execution. We asked the manager why we always have to be the one to call, why don't you call and tell us there is a delay, of which there was no answer other than sorry. It is my opinion based on this experience this company does not value their customers time or hard earned money they spent trusting them to honor their commitments.

I knew this was going to be a bad idea when the salesmen who came to give us bid was a piece of work. He talked down the competition, told my wife she had outdated taste, argued with her over the size of the floor board. At one point I told them they could leave if they didn't show my wife the options she was looking for. Unfortunately, they did have the style she liked. I told her this company was going to be a problem, because the management was either clueless they had someone like this working for them or they were just like him. My wife said not worry she would deal with them.

They said the install would take two days, but maybe run over to do final touches a few hours on day 3. A large crew showed up, and I thought wow, that is impressive, but they ended up leaving two floor people - bummer.  On the second day the two sat in the garage for the last two hours of the day and did not work. I went out to ask if something was wrong, but they kept communicating with someone on the phone and ended up saying they would be back the next day to finish. On day three the person who must have been the foreman said that some of the work wasn't on the contract, my wife pulled out the contract and said no, it says it right here. Then she started to point out the issues with the flooring. I could see he was aggravated at the work that had been done, and took a part a large area of the floor, spending hours re-installing it correctly. On a positive note, this gentlemen was amazing - pin point accuracy and corrected all of the previous days errors. When he finished he said that he could not complete the two door/carpet transitions area's because they didn't have the items required to do it, so we would get a call to have that scheduled.

My wife then returned a call to an unpleasant office staff member who made a number of excuses for this job now going into day 4 without even asking how the job went so far (apparently this company employees people who do not know how to treat customers, and don't really care once you've signed the contract ). Anyway they stated they would be out the next day (day four) to finish the transition and that  we would get a call between 6:30 - 9am. My wife continued to call and finally around noon found out they scheduled the wrong date, and supposedly they will be out tomorrow (day 5) - not even as much as an apology. Correct, the job is not complete yet. I have my doubts they will show up on a Saturday, and mostly because this company has yet to do much of anything they said on time.

If its not resolved tomorrow next stop BBB.

We had carpet and pad installed on 2/8/2021 and after a few days felt lumps when walking on it barefoot. We were scheduled 3 times to have an inspector come out because we were told we had defective padding. The inspector came and agreed, some seams weren't glued correctly and they got glue on my closet doors and we believe the carpet is a lower grade than what we picked out and paid for. We have not heard a word from Express flooring and I have left 2 messages and finally spoke to a gentleman named Brett on 4/21 that said he was sending a message to everyone in the service dept. I have still not heard from anyone. I do not recommend this company, they may be quick at getting your product installed but then your out of luck with any problems!!

I would give them 0 stars if I had the option. My husband and I had a sales rep come out to our home a week ago on Saturday. He asked us what our budget was to get the floors done in 1 bedroom, living room and hallway. He said he could get it pretty close to that price point. When it was all said and done it was over twice the amount we wanted to spend. Since we needed our floors done we agreed to it. He wanted the full amount up front, and we refused since you never pay for something in full like that. So, we gave him a $1,000 deposit to at least hold the flooring for us. Mind you, he could not give us an itemized list of what we were paying for. He kept fast talking and saying it is all lumped in together. So we really had no idea how much the flooring itself was costing. For all we know it could of been the cheapest stuff they had and we were paying an arm and a leg to have it installed.

He told us within 24-48 hours someone would call us to have it scheduled to install the floors. He left us no paper work, no contract, no balance of what we will owe when the installers show up, NOTHING! I waited almost 72 hours before calling. I told the rep exactly what took place and that we just wanted a refund at that point of the $1,000. She said she put a request in and a manager will call me back to go over the process. About an hour later they called back, put me on hold saying the manager can talk to me now. The rep comes back muttering something about the Manager needs to talk to the sales rep first and hung up on me.

I waited patiently until the next day, and called back around 3pm. The rep said she put the refund request in but that was all she can do. She transfers me to the manager's voicemail. Here it is, 6 days later after the initial first call I made, and not 1 person from Express Flooring has called my husband or myself. I had to dispute the charge with my bank to get my money back.

NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH EXPRESS FLOORING. THE SALES REPS I BELIEVE WORK OFF COMMISSION AND ONCE THEY LEAVE THEY GET PAID AND YOU GET NOTHING INCLUDING YOUR MONEY BACK!!!!!

New carpet in 3 bdrms and after 1 yr the Master bdrm was stretched out and padding worn down. After calling and leaving numerous messages we finally spoke to someone who said they would replace the carpet. Another month later after calling them AGAIN to see when we would be scheduled for the replacement, we were conveniently on the list for that week. However, no carpet was replaced. All they did was re-stretch it. Did not even replace the padding. So when a company says they are going to do something and then don't stand behind their word I do not recommend.

Working with this company has been a nightmare!!! I wish that I had read more reviews and researched more about this company.  I hope that others will read this and BEWARE. DO NOT USE EXPRESS FLOORING.
The salesman was dishonest and misrepresented the product. I asked for porcelain tile and he insisted that vinyl plank was a "much better product" He stated' you can drop a bowling ball on it and it will not break. It withstands everythin" Express flooring also advertises that their "luxury vinyl plank does not need furinture slider and will not dent or show wear from furniture!!! It is in their ad!!!!  After a month and a half, I had dents where the furniture was sitting!!!
Also, the installer did a horrible job at the site of the baseboards. He damaged the baseboards. There are even chips on them and he made a very sloppy caulking around the edges. He visited my home and refused to fix it and stated it is the responsibility of the company !!!
Also, they sent a person to evaluate the installation and he smelled strongly of marijuana. NO ONE SHOULD BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF DRUGS WHEN WORKING. THIS GUY DROVE HIMSELF TO MY HOUSE!!!
Express flooring stated they would replace the flooring   but  I would have to pay for it !!!!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!!

The first sales person nane Dennis never called back or followed up with us. We were ready to move forward with the project and we called several times to try and schedule an installation and this Dennis dude will not call us back? Are you guys serious??
They assign another sales person that came to our house again to measure the project( he was 3 hours late with no explanation or courtesy call). That is weird..they don't keep our estimate somewhere so when we call to book the job someone can just look at it and schedule installation?? .anyways.  we agree to a price and await installation. On installation day the crew was 5 hours late!!  and upon arrival the foreman said that he won't be able to complete the job in one day due to poor scheduling because they assign him a morning job that they knew will interfere with my job. I sent him home and rescheduled for next day which was very inconvenient due to family obligations. Next day the installation crew arrived early and complete the job in timely manner.  Although they did a very average job . All in all very bad communication and we are not happy  will not use this company again or tell to friends or family. I feel so absolutely disrespected by this company. I called to schedule a consultation and the representative asked if my husband was going to be present and I said "no, he will be at work but I am just getting quotes right now but if the price is right I am able to make that decision to go with your company" she said ok. The gentleman came out today and started to measure and asked if my husband was home and when I said "no" he said that's not their policy and he couldn't continue with the quote. I was baffled and disgusted by the fact that as a company they don't feel like wives are able to make decisions without their husbands, and to be fair to my husband, I had no intention of booking today, just gathering quotes to make the most informed decision. I feel so insanely disrespected as a woman, that I am unable to make a decision regarding MY household. I will NEVER spend a single penny of my hard earned money with this company. I am a successful,
self-employed woman more than capable of picking out carpet and deciding if the price is fair or not.

NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do business with Express Flooring!  I purchased carpet and vinyl flooring (which cost me close to $5000) for a rental home.  At the time the salesperson told me how wonderful their guarantee is (25 years for the carpet and 45 years for the vinyl).  The carpet's seams came apart and the vinyl in one of the bathrooms by the tub popped up.   I called Express Flooring and they did send a representative out within a few days.  He took pictures and said the company would contact me in a couple of days to schedule the repairs.  After 5 weeks and 10 phone calls from me, a customer service employee finally called.  By that time, since I wanted to sell the home I had the carpet replaced.  All I wanted from Express was for someone to come and glue and caulk the vinyl - probably a 30 minute repair.  They said they would do that but I had to pay a $100 service fee.  How unfair is that!!  They did a terrible job installing but yet expected me to pay another $100.  Like I said - NEVER, NEVER buy anything from Express Flooring!!

Express Flooring did a wonderful job on my home -- I am a repeat customer and will definitely try them again if I have further carpet needs. This carpet is soft and beautiful and looks great. They do all the work for you!

Terrible experience from the start. I can't even comment on the installation or the product at this point because they still haven't showed. From the start the salesman was late and we didn't even get a call until after our appointment time. He said his guy was running late and would be here in 30 minutes and he didn't show until over 40 minutes later. If you don't take their "discontinued" flooring you will be paying well over $5K over their discontinued price. Their discontinued wood flooring you get to choose from only 4 options. Our appointment was setup for Monday so on Sunday we spent all day moving and removing carpet. Monday arrives and nobody shows. We call late Monday and was told that "we dropped the ball and we will be out on Tuesday". I get a call Tuesday morning letting me know I'm the first client and they will be here between 8 and 10am. 11am rolls around, no express flooring, no call either. We had to call them, they said they would call back and I'm still sitting here with no call and still no flooring 40 minutes later. Very unprofessional.

I can confidently say this is the first time in my life I have ever considered a lawsuit. It took them 3 times to actually show up for my original scheduled install to which they kept not showing up no call, and when I called customer service they told me there was nothing they could do and hung up . Finally completed the install and they left us with planks pulling up, chipped, and some not even meeting the wall and leaving gaps. I was promised they would make things right as I had missed a lot of work and had an AWFUL experience. It took them weeks to get someone out to "fix" my floor. All they did was spend 12 hours pulling up the floor and making the EXACT same errors. I still have chipped and pulling up floor, but I was tired of missing work and having them in my house so I just gave up. This Monday I realized water was coming up between the boards when I walked in my laundry room. We pulled our washer out and it turns out when they moved my washer to install the floors they damaged the hose and it has slowly been dripping for 2 months. After I had my washer fixed I asked them to come back out and pull up my floors so that we do not get mold. They rescheduled me the first time, no sense of urgency that my floors are filled with water, they were supposed to be here 9-11 today and here was are 2 hours outside of the window. I have been calling their customer support for 2 hours and I keep getting sent to voicemail with no call back. I could have asked them to pay for my washer repairs, but all I asked is for them to fix the floors they ruined, apparently that was too big of an ask. This company is a complete scam and has the worst customer service on earth. I cannot think of an experience with a company that has caused me more stress and frustration. Save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else.

We only want someone to FIX our floor!!! P-l-e-a-s-e we invested a great deal of money and got inferior product!  Stand behind the warranty.  Dips, cracks, peaks and valleys need to be repaired. I feel like this was a  bait & switch, up sell. Don't bully us, don't patronize us or send your old In-line inspector and shady installer to snow us. Run don't bite on their sales pitch they are not trust worthy or forthright, sold us a Bill of goods.  The parting words of Henry or Harry said to us "I guess there is nothing more I can do for you" he never said "I'm sorry."

Since I can't respond to the ridiculous response from Michael H. of Express Flooring to my original review, I will review his response. Express Flooring, you should not let Michael H. respond for you.  His response to my review was just to point out what a top rated company you are and to brag about the very warranty service I negatively reviewed you about. How are you going to parade your warranty service as a top notch caliber product that sets you apart from the competition on the very post that states your warranty department has let me down 4 times in a row?  Is this just a canned response to all reviews that clearly are not being read? And then to tell me to call Henry?? How about Henry call me? I am the customer, a repeat customer at that.  This is the first time I have had to ask for a repair and this is how I am treated?  His response to my review was not an attempt to fix the problem but an attempt to belittle and discredit me, great job Express Flooring.  My next stop is the BBB.

This company is THE WORST business open ON THE PLANET! It's a joke. The NATIONAL sales rep was SO DISRESPECTFUL, sounded drunk on the multiple phone calls I had. He kept cutting me off and talking over me. I ordered one thing and they bait and switched me and brought a DIFFERENT product. TWICE. The rate kept changing with no rhyme or reason in the initial sale. They charged me a restocking fee for bringing me the wrong thing. Treated me like garbage. This company is ran by crooks

I attempted to set up an estimate for flooring.  They said they are unable to until I call them.  If I wanted to call and set up an estimate I would have done that in the first place rather than enter an online request.  I responded that I was unable to call due to work and work long shifts. He told me that even though my requested date and time are available they need me to call them.  I gave them all of my information to give an accurate estimate on my request form and explained that I can answer all questioning via text or email.  But nope,  I would have to call. Sorry,  going somewhere else if just setting up the appointment is this difficult!

(Sigh) Russ (a pretty nice guy) came out to our home a couple months ago (I left a google review the same day)he sat down told me the company life story blah blah after asking questions like have we ever bought flooring before and what's our budget he started measurements then told my husband and I the price of the flooring without any incentives was $12k for laminate floors for just under 500sq ft when I asked him what was the sq footage he said "I don't know" when I witnessed him measuring my darn living and family room. So after the "incentives" talk and calling the store saying we'll lock in the quote for 30 mins. This man said he could give us the flooring with all of their incentives and liquidation floor sales at $8K with an extra $700 off ($200 emailed coupon then $500 for newspaper ad). My husband and I we're turned off at that moment and declined I mean he was trying to sell us LAMINATE flooring for over $16 per sq ft! WHAT THE HELL!! Shame on these scammers... we sent him on his way, then he came back 3 mins later talking about he can do everything for $3500 hmmm very nice offer but we were turned off at that moment. How do you change your quote if it were actually legit by THOUSANDS within a matter of minutes?! Your company tried to charge us the cost for WOOD flooring more than wood flooring then came back and tried charging us $7 per sqft. Shame on you guys... there are no honest companies anymore and it's such a shame. Don't pray on vulnerable people.. I told him we were new homeowners and never purchased  floors before but geesh did you think we were stupid?! The same exact flooring he tried selling us at OVER $16 we found at Home Depot for $2.50 same quality. I hope people read my review before dealing with Express flooring. Don't be pressured by the salesmen they're just as bad as car salesmen if you want to compare. STAY FAR AWAY AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE LETTING THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME. So sad cause we're purchasing another home this year and would have given them future business and referrals to friends and family. Horrible experience smh oh and the fact that your sales rep couldn't give us a breakdown or even an email with a quote is beyond me.

My whole experience with Express Flooring was 5 stars. The design consultant was great. He helped with color and type of carpet and pad. I have pets so that was a concern. The vinyl flooring in the bathroom is perfect! I love it.

Do you like high pressure, price is good for "today only" sales tactics?  if so, this is the place for you.  Sales person got very aggressive and defensive with me for asking basic questions and pushing back on the pricing approach.  I asked the guy to leave and he huffed and puffed around the house for several minutes before finally exiting.  It was an uncomfortable experience from the minute he walked in, until he left.

I had two items stolen from my home. When I originally called to place my order, boy were they quick and available. When I called to tell them about my stolen items, crickets! Nobody answers my calls. Also, the two men who put my carpet in, did not move back my furniture so I had to do it while pregnant. Absolutely horrible and criminal treatment.

I called and asked the company if they had a show room I could come too and was told no, they come to us with samples. Ok great! So I scheduled an appointment. I gave them the details of what I was looking for over the phone so that they would know what type of samples to bring. I was asked about my husband (which at the time I thought odd) but said he may or may not be home. I asked a few questions and the person on the phone said that the sales person would go over the details but he would email me out a coupon (never received the coupon).  The sales person came out and he actually met my husband on the way out (he went for a run). I am quite capable of handling anything goes on in our home but it seems that this company I was made to feel as time was  back to the 1940's and women aren't able to make decisions without their spouse present! Can you say sexism? My daughter and I tried to get the sales person to come in the other room to look at the few tiles that we had from another company or to go upstairs to look at the rooms we wanted done and he couldn't be bothered. My daughter went to the kitchen pulled two of the tiles to bring in to show him so that he could have a better idea of what we were looking for and he was like yes we have things like that....ok we could clearly tell he really wasn't interested in the job because if he was, he would have given me the quote that he would have given to both my husband and I but he seemed insistent that he was there.  The sales rep asked me if the job was $15,000 could I make that decision on my own and I said yes, if I loved something and that's what it cost then I would do it. Would I still get my husbands opinion on the shade etc of course, but I am clearly capable of handling my finances and have a complete handle on what I can afford YES. He asked if I was going to pay cash or sign up for their credit...at first I said cash and then I said well if you have good terms maybe I will do credit (in either case...I know my credit score is 820 and I know what I have in the bank)! So again....I can make a decision and sign paperwork. What did come out of this...my husband got home and asked how the appointment went and I told him he wouldn't give us a quote without him there and he said I told him that you were in good hands (which I didn't know...LOL nor did I care) but found that kind of funny and he said well clearly we won't be using them... and my daughter got a lesson in what's it like to be a woman and have to jump through extra hoops....by the way she's a RN...she's pretty good at making decisions as well! Let's just say we won't be using their services!

These people are crooked.  Had carpet replaced in master bedroom.   A month later there were depressions in the carpet.  I pulled up the carpet to find they had piece mealed the carpet pad.  The carpet depressions were caused by the foot wide areas that had no pad!!!   Stay away!  Never received a reimbursement for this terrible job!

Customer service at its finest! Their team was able to educate my fiancé and I on the newest flooring. We wanted something that was "in" for my new home. This flooring company is top notch, I call them to look at some carpet and tile work I need in my bathroom and they were able to give me a fast affordable quote. They even moved all the furniture for me. I have to say for Scottsdale remodeling and flooring this is the company to call they beat all four companies on the prices. The best thing about them was the in-home consultation.
