HISTORY

Established in 2012.
Rafal W. Nalej, the owner of Olympic Hardwood Flooring Company, has been in the building and flooring business for 14 years, Working in the retail and wholesale side of the business, in 2012, Rafal has decided to start his own small flooring business specializing solely in the hardwood flooring with one goal in mind - to share his passion for hardwood floors with as many people as possible and deliver unmatched customer service with unique project management services that many of his past customers were looking for while shopping for their hardwood floors in the Phoenix area and all its neighboring cities.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

Born and raised in Poland, Rafal came to the US as a young student exchange program participant and decided to continue his education at Ort Technical Institute in Chicago where his passion and flooring carrier has started while working his first job at a small local flooring store. He moved to Valley of the Sun in 2004 and continued his carrier working in the retail as well as wholesale side of the business, In 2012 he decided to open his own small flooring business specializing in hardwood flooring and continue his carrier in the flooring industry as a local hardwood flooring specialist assisting his clients through out the process from start to finish with a huge success.

WONDERFUL, Olympic Hardwood Flooring is simply wonderful!!
I had lived with my dated, glued down, engineered wood floors for 10+ years and had hated them from the day I purchased my house. When I finally decided to replace them, I took my time, shopped around, selected a couple of hardwood flooring options, interviewed a few different installers and got bids to do the work. Then I went to Olympic Hardwood Flooring's showroom and I hit the lottery.
I first met Kelly, she is terrific, lovely, kind and was helpful and patient as I looked at all of their flooring options, and they have A LOT to choose from. Rafal helped narrow down my selections and let me take samples home. Once I made my decision, Rafal presented an estimate to complete the job that was both competitive and detailed. He patiently answered all my questions and concerns before I gave him my deposit to begin the project. Rafal and Kelly kept me informed of ordering, delivery and installation dates and adhered to the schedule throughout the entire project.
I was blessed to have Buddha install my flooring, he was absolutely fantastic. His work is impeccable, flawless and detailed; he arrived on time, cleaned up after himself and was an absolute pleasure to work with. In the span of six days, he removed and replaced the hardwood flooring in the living room and removed old carpet in the primary and guest bedrooms and replaced it with the same oak flooring. Even when unexpected, extra floor prep work was required the work was still completed on time, per the schedule and within budget.
To say I am thrilled with the outcome is an understatement...I'm ecstatic!! My house has been transformed into a home. My expectations were not only met, but exceeded anything I could have ever hoped for. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Olympic Hardwood Flooring, everyone there is terrific and it was the best decision I ever made!!

We used Olympic to remove old carpet and install French oak in three bedrooms to match the rest of the flooring. They were phenominal to work with- they answered all my questions (I had a lot) we had unexpected issues when the carpet was removed (water on the concrete slab) so they worked with us on our new timelines. The work was phenominal and I couldnt be happier.

Now 8 months later we had a pipe leak in the kitchen and needed to repair/replace wood. Rafal and his team came out to our house several times to come up with the best solution.

I would use them again and recommend them in a heartbeat- from the scheduler to the owner and installers- a great experience

Very pleased!! I am happy that we selected Olympic Flooring for the purchase and installation of our hardwood flooring. After checking two other businesses, I called Olympic Hardwood Flooring and yes, my call was returned within the hour-just like their website states! In fact, Rafal and his crew were on time, courteous and listened to our desires every step of the process. From showing us the showroom selection, measuring the areas and answering all of our questions promptly (even late evening) we felt like we were in good care. Rafal and the installers showed integrity and have pride in their work. They didn't "drop the ball" or ever "pass the buck." I am encouraging anyone who is searching for hardwood flooring to compare the variety, timeliness and service to Olympic Hardwood Flooring prior to putting any money down.

Most of the good reviews are for Rafal. I didn't get him. I got a team that disrespected my property and time. The installer was late every day with no communication. They didn't properly protect my condo from all the dust that got everywhere and I had to spend 2 days cleaning everything and over $100 in dry cleaning. They dinged my furniture, cabinets and even my front door and the project lead tried to charge me $150 extra for the crap job wrapping my things in plastic and being "extra careful" during demolition. Finishing up they left my patio a mess and they cracked my toilet. I was promised a replacement of the same or equivalent brand, but what I got was the cheapest toilet from Home Depot. To top it off, they over billed my by $300 on the final invoice. Yes, the floors look good, but surely there are companies that can install flooring without the damage and disrespect.

We are doing a full remodel of our home and, learning from our last remodel, decided to hire legit professionals for the flooring of our new home. I wanted to support a local company and looked for high ratings. Rafal was with me from the time I (unannounced) walked into his showroom until the finished product and install. He is knowledgeable, honest, and was open to working with our timeline when multiple other contractors were involved. I had nothing but a positive experience. My needs and concerns were always addressed in a timely manner. Rafal was always available to contact. Our installer, Budo, was professional and friendly. I trusted this company and their employees in my home, when we were at work, and would absolutely do so again. Support local. Their quality can't be beat. We've had nothing but positive comments about our flooring, including from other professionals doing work in our house. I can't recommend Olympic flooring enough!

Olympic Hardwood installed 3000 sq ft of engineered hardwood in our 1950's era home. The work they did was nothing short of amazing. Regina and Rafal spent quite a bit of time assisting us in picking the perfect flooring before we committed. We received a detailed estimate before work began, and when the work was finished there were no surprises in the cost. Work began on the dot the day it was scheduled, and proceeded right on time in spite of an entire week of rain. Their craftsmen were meticulous, not to mention polite and all-around great guys. The flooring has transformed our house! We really did our homework interviewing various flooring companies in the Phoenix area, and could not be happier that we chose Olympic for the job.

If you are looking for flooring, Rafal's your guy! Rafal and his team were excellent right from the start. I emailed Olympic Hardwood from their website looking for an estimate after receiving one from another company. Rafal responded immediately, worked around my schedule to come out to my home the next evening and took the time to discuss all the different options that were available while taking accurate measurements. We met him at his showroom the next day and you can tell Rafals passion for his work by his exceptional customer service! He really wants you to be happy with your investment. He provided several quotes based on different options and always with a smile and prompt! Once we made our selection, he was even able to squeeze our install in the same week! I'll be using Rafal again next year for our upstairs flooring project - hands down!

Olympic Harwood Flooring has exceeding my expectations. The owner Rafal is friendly and very helpful. He came out to measure our space and provided us a quote within 24hrs. Do yourself a favor and hire Olympic Hardwood Flooring for your next flooring project. Rafal, the owner has 1st class product knowledge and follow through. I found the company via the Internet when trying to find out who would sell and Install CoreTec Plus XL luxury vinyl planks. I am so happy that my search led me to Rafal. From the beginning to the end of the project, he was a pleasure to work with. I checked with other companies for quotes and his quote was the best offer. What I really liked about Rafal was his follow through. Every time he said he would do something, he did. I never had to worry or doubt my decision, did I make the right choice by going with this company. He is extremely trustworthy and ethical. I am so happy with my floors. I love my new floors. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. Trust me, you won't regret it.

I have nothing but excellent feedback for Rafal and his staff. I could not be more satisfied from the first visit to the completion of the two wood floors in the master bedroom and the great room. Rafal explained all of the options and discussed the job in detail. Communication was great and the job was scheduled at my requested days and times. The price was very competitive and the workmanship and quality of the products were outstanding. I would highly recommend Olympic flooring to anyone who is interested in wood flooring. Wood is all they do and they are highly specialized and very professional.
