Best Flooring Contractors in Phoenix, AZ

Spent two weeks messaging them where they said they would be in touch to schedule. They messaged every few days on Yelp to say someone would schedule. No one ever called and my call was not returned when I called on my own. Very odd business practices, or lack thereof.

After getting my floors measured for flooring installation I had to call back three times to find out where my quote was. Was informed that it would be taken care of that day. One week after appointment, still have not seen a quote. Called Empire today and they came out this afternoon measured and presented there flooring. We signed on to have them reflow two rooms and a closet. Thanks Empire for great service.

The beige carpet in my living and dining rooms looked awful - after many years of foot traffic and elderly, shedding pets, it had to go. I was most fortunate to find Paradise Tile & Natural Stone, right here on Yelp. The owner Cosimo has a North Phoenix store filled with flooring samples, with many styles and colors to choose from. I selected luxury vinyl planking (LVP) - beautiful, low-maintenance, and very pet-friendly. Cosimo made the estimate and scheduling process quick and simple, and his hard-working crew did a great job with the installation, which included 4-inch baseboards painted to match the walls. My new floors are gorgeous, and the rooms look incredible. Highly satisfied!

I love my new garage floors! My concrete was so drab and stained from years of owning fords and now they are fab and smooth! The entire process from getting a quote, to install, to even the follow up call to ensure satisfaction was just so wonderful! I absolutely recommend and look forward to doing business with quick response again in the future. Jessica and Cassi were my favorites.

Recently discovered that our 2nd story terrace was badly rotted in the floor. Called a few contractors but many did not want to tackle this job involving installing a new subfloor.
Well Sammy from Floor Coverings Intl, did, and they did a great job! Put in 3/4" exterior plywood screwed & glued to the framework, then screwed and glued 1/2" backboard to that, then 2 coats of RedGuard, then thinset cement & beautiful tiles. We like the border tiles too!

This is a quality operation. Everything they did was high quality.

I came to Floor Source because it is close to my house.  I wish I had looked for something further away. I wanted some carpet replaced in  my living room, with some tile that matched existing tile.

Pros - the lady who greeted me on the phone and when I walked in was professional, polite and helpful.  Danielle, I believe. The first appointment when the manager, Margie, came out was good.

Cons - everything else.  After Margie left, she ordered some tile based off of the builder's specs.  I never heard from her if the tiles were in and had to call her.  She scheduled an install for Monday & Tuesday before Thanksgiving, or so she told me.  I called her beforehand, to find out that she had a miscommunication (#1) with the installer and he could only come out Wed & Thu.  I asked her if he was going to install on Thanksgiving. She got someone to come out on Tues afternoon , but was flabbergasted when i said he had to be out by 5PM as I had a meeting, and was not comfortable with someone unknown in my house alone.

Then the day of the install.  The tile was not anywhere near close to the color of the existing tile.  Not her fault, but the installer had already torn out the existing carpet and broken a few of the tiles before we discovered this. I called Margie and she came out.  We ordered some tile and I paid a restocking fee for the previous order. Keep in mind that I have a concrete floor in my living room now and no furniture. I waited for  a call letting me know the tile was in, never got it, and had to call her.  She scheduled an install for Monday and Tuesday, but when i called to verify the Saturday before, she had not made the appointment claiming another miscommunication (#2).

I told her I was about to cancel the whole order and she got someone to install.  I will update this after the install...

Update: The install went well and I was very happy with the installer.  We made some decisions on-the-spot that I am very pleased with.  I upgraded from 1 to 2 stars based on the install.

Floor Source is the way to go.  I embarked on a new floor installation which was my first time spearheading a renovation project.  I went the Costco route after seeing the promo in the store.  Once contacting Costco, the friendliest salesperson in the world, Jarod Alexander, contacted me from Floor Source.  Jarod came to the house and patiently worked with me while taking measurements, reviewing the several flooring options, making a final selection, discussing the install timing and schedule, reviewing all promotional items and  making sure all my questions were answered.  Jarod was TRULY PERFECT in providing customer service to me, especially for my first-time floor install.

Within two weeks after the sale was made, the Floor Source  office contacted me when the flooring materials were delivered to schedule the install which was estimated to take 5 days.  Luis and Luis performed the install. THEY WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!  These gentlemen arrived smiling and were timely, friendly, collaborative with the install and overall just wonderful.  The new floors were installed within 4.5 days, shorter than the original estimate, and look phenomenal  - base boards and all!  

The house is now gorgeous and has a whole new energy.  Thank you, Costco and Floor Source, for this wonderful installation.

Shamus and Travis are magicians at working on repairing anything stone. We have limestone floors that need a lot of attention and they perform miracles on the floor as well as our quartz countertops.

I can't recommend Matthew and his team enough! They showed up early and got right to work, and were finished within the quoted time! Super responsive and friendly as well. There was no mess made, and their work was flawless. I will definitely use them again for any future jobs!

Bruce and his crew were friendly, and did a great job incorporating my ideas into a guest bath remodel. Had a couple "punch list' items after the fact, but they were handled quickly and professionally. I would recommend Gainey Flooring for any size tile job you may have

Had just an ok experience. Did fine on the actual work but definitely nickeled and dimed us on things. Charged us for a number of things at the end that we weren't aware we'd be charged like reinstalling the toilet that they removed. Also estimator said they'd remove the baseboards as part of the project. When they started the work, they said that'd be an added cost on top of the quote they gave. They then went in and damaged our based boards significantly when demoing the tile. If you use them, just be clear what they'll charge you for.

Thank you Vikki and Nola for your exceptional customer service!  After 28 years, it was time for new carpet in 4 BRs, LR and stairway and get it installed before xmas.  We spent about an hour at her showroom getting the choices down to a few.  A few days later, they brought samples to the house and the perfect one was chosen and deposit paid.  One week later, the carpet was completely installed - order shipped from Georgia, arrangements scheduled for the furniture movers, contact to move the pool table and of course the installers - a coordination nightmare.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!
On the day of install, the movers came at 8am and in less than an hour moved all the furniture. Couple hours later at 10am the installers came.  The entire install, ~1200 sq ft, was completed by 6pm.  As the installers were finishing, the movers came back to move the furniture back!  Vikki and Nola returned to inspect the install and instruct us in carpet care and stain removal.
The carpet looks great!  Appreciated the sparkling water and snacks too! Enjoyed the Greek food discussions and can't wait to use the vouchers.
May see you two in a few years for advice for the Tempe condo.

Did an excellent job installing our laminate flooring and kitchen backsplash. Very professional, thorough, and responsive to all our questions and design vision. Highly recommend to everyone we know and hope to use them again in the future!

The owner Eric is very knowledgeable because he has been in the business a long time.  He spent a lot of time with me on the phone and thoroughly explained process. The crew showed up on time and was very meticulous.  FCC's prices are very competitive.  I am very happy with the end result.
