Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

We had an $800 electric bill in August after moving in to a 20-year old home.  I talked to 6, count 'em, 6 different A/C companies.  They gave me different, and sometimes contradictory, diagnosis.

Larson was the only company who worked the problem systematically.  First, they did a performance review of our existing equipment.  The components were made by 3 different manufacturers and installed over a 20-year span of time.  In short, they did not, and could not, work very efficiently together.

Next Larson did a Manual J calculation.  This is essentially an engineering study to determine how much supply needs to go to each room in the home and whether there is enough return to circulate cooled or warm air.  They modified our design to provide ample air to our kitchen and family room and recirculate it so we have more consistent temperatures throughout the house.

Larson's technicians arrived on time, worked efficiently, were polite and CLEANED UP when they left our home.  They are completing the attic insulation today.

Our situation is an extreme.  Most people won't have the deficiencies in their systems that we did.  However, if Larson can wrestle this mess to the ground, they can help you too.

My list of adjectives for Larson:  knowledgeable, professional, courteous, timely and tidy.

I will write a follow up review next summer when hot temps return.

****** (that's more stars). This guy is unbelievable. It's Sunday morning, 8:30 a.m. and my furnace is blowing cold air. It's 32 degrees outside. It's getting pretty cold in the house. I hop on Yelp and find Johnny's. Johnny, himself, answers the phone. He tells me to turn the unit off and he'll be here within the hour. He calls me back 10 minutes later and says, Turn it back on. It was really cold last night. It may have gone into defrost mode. Sure enough, I turn it on and it's blowing heat. Johnny says, You don't need me. Johnny--you're the best. I am definitely keeping your number.

Hays did a great job taking care of our A/C and heating problems.  Thank you to Frank and Thad for being professional and courteous.  The reason I'm not going with 5 stars is that I did have a little difficulty reaching someone after the initial fix had a problem that night night.    However, I did hear from the technician the next morning and he came back to work on the issue.

Cannot give this local company enough compliments for its gold standards in customer service! They will go above and beyond for the customer. I have a rental property which needed an AC replacement, and needed prompt and reliable service. The tenant was not the most hospitable, but Randy, one of the co-owners of the company, was extremely professional in inspecting the property and getting back to me with his recommendations. Their pricing is extremely fair, but the communication and trustworthiness with their customers is what will always bring back repeat clients! So many businesses could learn from them! I requested quotes from several companies. Cool zone was the first to respond and had the soonest availability. I was told a tech would be to my house between 3-5pm the same day I requested the quote. I was delighted at 1:30pm when I got a call saying the tech could make it earlier. It was nearly 90 degrees inside my house when Ryan arrived. He got right to work and had the problem solved and repair completed before 3pm! He stuck around and chatted for a little while to make sure that the temp was dropping in my house. He was very nice and professional. I would definitely recommend cool zone to anyone needing AC repairs!

I am so blown away by the service we received from Arctic Fox, Heath is amazing!  We were so impressed with how fast he was able to diagnose and fix our ac...and in July!  Only waiting a few hours was a complete blessing in the middle of summer.  We are so thankful to Heath and will be only calling Arctic Fox from now on!

They showed up sooner than anticipated (called ahead with an opening) and fixed my AC for less than anticipated. Professionals and only did what was required. Happily recommend them to anyone suffering from a broken AC.

I found This company online after another HVAC company was unable to figure out why my AC unit was leaking from the return vent. David was able to figure it out and corrected the problem. After doing that I had him service the unit. He informed me at that time there were many issues with it. So I had him replace with a brand new one. Upon the first installation attempt, he was able to see a plumber was needed to cap a water line. He was able to refer a plumber who capped water lines and wound up replacing my hot heater that was in VERY bad shape. All this was especially helpful as I am an absentee landlord. Excellent service, great work and reasonable pricing. Highly recommend!

The quality of their work cannot be beat. When no other company could figure out what was going on with our A/C, they had it diagnosed and working in 20 minutes. They now have my total business for all A/C and Swamp Cooler problems as well as doing regular maintenance on the system for the future. I highly recommend them.

Wow, start to finish this company is impressive. They are reliable, on-time, and trustworthy. We had Ideal Energy come over and perform an energy audit on our house and we knew we had a ductwork/balance issue with our house. The quote for the work was clear and concise. The day of the project they finished on time and cleaned up everything. Ideal replaced all the ductwork in our house and the airflow issues are completely fixed. I really like this company!I was out of town and my moms ac just stopped working. The guy came out to the house and really helped my mom.He Fixed our issue real fast and even followed up the next day to see if everything was ok. He even applied a coupon for $50.00 off our repair! Called and they were out the next morning to service and inspect. Found an issue and unfortunately they are not on our home warranty list of contractors. Highly recommend honest, polite, good service

The AC tech was very nice and showed up in a mask as well. I appreciated that he was quick and explained the issue with our air-conditioning system. He fixed the issue within a half hour and was on his way. He even gave us some tips to keep problems from happening in the future and how we can save some money. Definitely a great experience.
