Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

Got a drain problem for my AC. Made an appointment on the second day and tech did an excellent job fixing it. Their response is fast and professional. Later on, a minor associated with the service rose (We didn't notice that during the service). Made another appointment and they came in solving it without charge. Great service and highly recommended.

This is the first time I have ever written a review and the only reason I have decided to share my experience is due to the fact that it exceeded all expectations!!
First of all when I placed my first call to M&R I received a call back from the owner Matthew before I completed my voice message. Already an above average start.
Then (and the main reason for this review) is a tech by the name of Daniel Reyes showed up at my door. He arrived right on time and was very friendly. He answered all my questions (and I had a ton of them) and then he diagnosed my A/C issue. He quickly fixed the problem and then this is where he revived my faith in great service. I had left out my own ladder, vacuum and extension cord and while I was downstairs waiting on Daniel he actually wound up the cord, brought the ladder down the stairs for me and he even vacuumed below the attic entry. I couldn't believe it. The most impressive thing is he didn't announce multiple times what he had done. He just did it and wasn't looking for pats on the back. Incredible!! I would encourage any and all who need A/C service to give this company a call.
I hope if you took the time to read this review you will also regain hope that there are a few companies out there that still employ honest hard working employees like Daniel.

When my AC went out I called A Quality HVAC Services. I got someone on the line and a technician was at my house within the hour. Mitch was great and got my AC working again quickly. I would definitely recommend this company.

Andrew was on time and very professional. He explained everything that is to be done in plain terms. Found some problems that need to be corrected. Laid out three systems with prices, and what rebates are included. Excellent company representative.

North Valley Mechanical performed our first annual HVAC service at our home.  The office staff is friendly and our technician, David, is a nice guy and very thorough.  Their pricing is also very good.  I will definitely have them out next year to service!

When they say they warranty their work, they really do! We needed a slight change to the original work (not an error, just some tweaking), and Dave came straight out to help. He found out that we were low on Freon, and that there was a leak from when the original builders installed our unit. He hooked us up with what we needed for a great price. AND fixed our leak for free!! Always such a relief to find great companies to work with. :)

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

I reached out to Freddy's via Yelp after leaving a message with another A/C company with a 5 star rating on Yelp. The other guys never called me  back, but Freddy called me right away! He was friendly and asked if I was available that day. He came out that day, checked everything out, fixed the problem, charged me a fair fee and left. No B.S., just good old fashioned quality service with no price gouging.

Our A/C went out while it was still hot, so it wasn't ideal timing. I called a few places to get some quotes and decided to go with True North based on their great reviews and their competitive pricing. Mike (the owner) was a pleasure to work with and was able to get us on the schedule in two days! Our installers, Ronnie, Drake and Micah were polite, knowledgeable and did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Our new system is up and running and we are very satisfied with the results. No more hot spots in the house and it's so much quieter. Mike did all the paperwork for us for the SRP credit and the trane warranty. Will definitely be using them for service as well. Bonus..it always feels good supporting a smaller company.

Hands down the best company you'll find. Honest work and great pricing.  The technician did a great job and was very thorough.  Explained everything in detail.  Took the time to explain every minor detail and at the end of the day earned a lifelong customer.  Britni was a pleasure to deal with for scheduling and pricing and Chris was the amazing technician that came out. Dont waste your time with other companies, go straight to this one!!!!

Last night we came home from work at 8 PM and our AC was not working and our Nest thermostat was saying there was no power to the thermostat.  The circuit was not tripped, so I knew we had a serious problem. I called American Cooling and Heating, and they answered the phone right away. Tim arrived at our house within an hour, and discovered that our air handler disconnect switch was bad.  This is literally just a standard light switch that turns the unit off, and he doesn't have one on his truck because it's not something an air conditioning company usually deals with. In fact, he said he has never seen this switch fail in all his years of work! Fortunately this is a $2 part that I can install myself, so I went to buy a light switch to replace the faulty one.  I bought it, I installed it, and the AC came back on right away.  Thanks for the excellent troubleshooting Tim!

Howard Air is the real deal. Their techs show up on time, act professional, and do great work! Highly recommend!

This started out as a bad experience.  I called Goettl because of their radio ads and asked for the A/C rejuvenation.  The tech came out and did his thing, but it seemed really fishy when he took less than 5 min to do the coil cleaning and he told me it was too cold to check the coolant levels, it was 75 degrees that day, but he sounded convincing and left after collecting his money.  The A/C was not working great when he came and my intent was to have him find the problem during the tune up and then I would pay extra to fix what was needed.  Two days after the tech left the A/C was only acting as a fan, no cool air at all, so I called Goettl and and explained what happened, they agreed to send a new tech at no charge and re-do the tune-up.  When the new tech came he immediately discovered that there was no coolant in the system at all, it was 50 degrees that day by the way, this was very upsetting because it confirmed that the tech from the last visit did not do his job, the new tech also cleaned the coils, this time taking over 20 minutes and the difference in the look of the unit was remarkable, hopefully I see it in the performance as well.  Goettl also diagnosed the problem, found and repaired the leak and re-charged the coolant all at no charge to me.  Although, the first tech obviously did not do his job, Goettle did the right thing and took care of me and I am very happy with the second experience.
