Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

This is long over due since he fixed our AC three weeks ago! We got a quote from Yelp for help when it was slowly getting warm and he came and fixed it that day. Also he was fair priced and on top of that he only fixed what was necessary and didn't pressure us to buy a new AC. He gave his opinion and said we should save for a new AC since it will last maybe another year. I appreciate the honesty and straightforwardness.

I called Brian last fall when a friend recommended them, and got a quote to replace my old system. Their quote was the best of 5 that I asked for (taking into account the type of system I wanted), and was the most efficient for the least money. At that time, I was trying to decide between new windows or a new AC system. Well, I went with the windows (would make the same decision now).
The old system finally gave up on July 3rd. Yes, the day before the holiday. Because I have a home warranty, I called them and they sent out a tech, but it wasn't until 3:30 until I had a diagnosis and prognosis. It was going to take 3-5 days AFTER the warranty company approved any repair before they would be able to fix anything. I used a portable swamp cooler to keep the house reasonable during the 4th holiday, and I called Brian first thing on the morning of the 5th.
He sprang into action, and had portable AC units delivered to my house to keep us cool, and called me back to confirm the cost of a new system. It had gone up from the previous fall (totally expected) but only a small increase. I told him to please get me on his schedule as soon as possible. He said most likely that it would be Monday, July 9th.
His guys were finishing up what they thought was their last install for the week on Friday, 6th, and Brian asked them to come get us cool with a new system. Man, they showed up, got the old system out, replaced everything and had the new system up and running in less than 4 hours, start to finish. Vince and Josh and crew worked professionally, efficiently, and didn't even disturb our toddler! What a great crew! I even bought them pizza for doing the extra job, when they thought they were finished for the week!
I cannot stress enough the honesty and integrity all of the guys from AirTime showed during the whole process. They were informative and caring about our situation and got the house cooling down 3 days ahead of time! WOW!
They didn't charge extra because it's summer, and a holiday week. In fact, their price for the new system was WAY cheaper than a competitor who said they could be here on the 5th (they weren't) for a much less efficient system.
Our house is now cooler, and is using much less electricity for cooling than the old system ( I check energy usage daily ).

We bought a new home in 2014 and as new home owners never realized that our upstairs AC unit wasn't working as intended. We figured our warm 2nd floor was just a result of having two floors in the AZ heat. However, last year we finally had a company come out and check our unit. They recharged the unit and told us there was a leak but never bothered to find it. That particular company used a product that is supposed to seal leaks internally but as we've found out since, this is a  very bad idea and can lead to many issues down the road. Despite the unscrupulous application of the internal sealant, the upstairs was cool for the first time ever and we thought our problems were solved.

Fast forward to this summer and here it is hot upstairs again. I called a new company, one of the largest in the valley, to come offer us some advice. Of course after paying my $80 trip fee to get them out, I was quoted an exorbitant amount of money to repair the unit with no attempt made to locate the obvious leak. I told this company I would think about it and tried to figure out how we could possibly make the financials work to get the unit fixed.

This is where M&R comes in. I had called a couple places today based on reviews to try and get some insight into my troubles and make sure we weren't being  raked over the coals. Matthew returned my call promptly and was very helpful even on the phone insisting that the costly repair I was quoted probably wasn't even necessary. Matthew came out the same day I called him and got to work searching for the leak before even mentioning charging me for any services. Matthew spent a good  couple hours looking over our unit and was able to locate the slightest leak that was the obvious culprit of our warm 2nd floor. Based on the last service calls I have had I had never seen anyone that committed to looking for a the issue. Matthew was able to repair our unit for a good price and even guaranteed us that if the fix wouldn't work there would be no charge.

I can't thank Matthew enough and we will be continuing customers of his because of the time and effort he put forth helping us today.

I'm debating whether it is 4 or 5 star, but leaning towards 5. The most important things are the workmanship, availability, accuracy and professionalism. These were all aced with flying colors. You get what you pay for. It wasn't a cheap AC replacement. They were ready within an hour of my call to add additional refrigerant. They were available to reschedule as needed. They turned on a dime for me. They got me the energy rebate I requested, without me having to lift a finger. They worked directly with my insurance to make sure I was taken care of. They make detailed reports and can explain the more decisions. Even though I didn't need the extra thermostat at this time, it was included in the package. I had to ask for it when it came time to pay the bill. I think it was complimentary along with the install but they still itemize free things on the receipt. The complimentary refrigerant was left off the receipt, the only exception.

Our AC broke down on Sunday evening. Called 10 companies, no one could help. Arcadia air had us up and running in an hour. Professional, so kind and not sales-y. I am shocked that there are still people that care so much about their customers on a Sunday evening. Appreciated it so much and will recommend to everyone!

Jim was my tech and very knowledgeable. Easy to communicate with and finished the job quickly. Staff seems to be very wonderful and price is competitive with other plumbers in my area.

The owner called and was apologetic and scheduled an appointment to come out and give mea quote on the work I need done.  They showed up in a timely manner, very professional and gathered the information for the quote.  The owner was apologetic and helpful.

They just completed a removal and install of my new unit on 3/24/22 and of the several HVAC companies that I received a quote for my AC removal and installation, North Valley Mechanical was hands down the best priced.  There were no extra charges or surprises that came about from the quote I received.  From the sales person, Jim, to the installers, they were all very honest and very professional.  They fixed the flaws from the previous installation.  I highly recommend!  Great Job NVM!!!

When they say they warranty their work, they really do! We needed a slight change to the original work (not an error, just some tweaking), and Dave came straight out to help. He found out that we were low on Freon, and that there was a leak from when the original builders installed our unit. He hooked us up with what we needed for a great price. AND fixed our leak for free!! Always such a relief to find great companies to work with. :)

Todd H was incredibly thorough, approachable, knowledgeable, friendly, and informative on our system. He took pictures of our system and walked us through everything our system does and how it should act. Key signs to lookout for should something happen. Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Legit company and amazing owner. Very quick and professional had my ac running within minutes and explained exactly what was wrong and gave me a few tips on how to take care of the unit outside. We recently relocated from the East Valley to Carefree and called the A/C company that we had used prior to come out and service our A/C Unit and since they don't service the area I asked if they had another company they would recommend, and they recommended Four Seasons Home Services, and now I know why! Our AC went out overnight and I called 3 companies that said they offered 24/7 service. I left voicemails at 4AM and received a call back just before 6AM from Alan at American Cooling & Heating. He was so kind right off the bat and said he could be to our house by 8:30AM...I said today?!. He said yes, ma'am, I'm going to finish my next job and I'll be over. Holy cows! So Al showed up right at 8:30 as promised, diagnosed the issue, talked to my over protective, watch out for scammers father over the phone, explained everything in detail to his satisfaction, fixed the problems and I'm sitting here in a cool house before 10AM! This company exceeded all of my expectations! We will be calling Al for a maintenance check in May and highly recommend him to everyone!

have to laugh at some of these negative reviews. A HVAC company coming out at the crack of dawn is a problem!!! Yeah call Sears! You'll get a date no time. For heaven's sake. Sounds like they are negative people to begin with. This company has been around a while and they know what they are doing. Thank you for your great service. You are appreciated!!

After several visits with the  good guys, I decided they really aren't so good after all. Years ago and under different ownership, they helped us out and gave us good service. On  that basis, I called them 3 months ago to look at my aging air conditioner in my home. They fixed it and charged me $1672.00. When they came back as part of the service plan, I was informed that I needed a new air conditioner and that I needed to decide within 2 days if I wanted to get any credit for my repairs (the previous technician told me I was eligible for a credit for my repairs which were warranted for 2 years ).  Then he takes out some price sheets with the highest prices I have ever seen.  Some units were as high as $18000+
I requested time for consideration and got some other quotes. Same SEER were half the price at Parker and Sons. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!! Nice guys are being  required   to do some not nice things.
