Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

With the crazy electrical storms the past few days my AC unit exploded, yes really.  I wasn't sure what to do so from a recommendation from my sister I filled out the web form for Accurate Air on their website ( it was late when the explosion happened ). Their office staff called me promptly when they opened  in the morning and were very nice and sent George out right away.  George came and surveyed the damage and gave me a few options on repairing or replacing the exploded compressor.  I opted for a new AC unit.  They got one from the warehouse and had it installed the new morning in the morning all in about 24 hours.  I had really good luck with them.

Professional, experienced, courteous and timely. I have called Semper Fi heating and cooling twice in recent months and have had nothing short of a FIVE STAR experience each time. The technicians have been fantastic. It's rare in this day and age to find a company that provides the necessary service WITHOUT attempting to upsell you or tell you that you need additional unnecessary parts or labor. The 2 techs, Andre and Daniel were not only professional and experienced, but were very courteous and willing to explain exactly what they were doing to correct the issue. I will not use ANY other company and will highly recommend Semper Fi to anyone.

I purchased my Trane unit in 2009 from Scottsdale Air and recently had a service check and was reminded how profession and straightforward doing business with Scottsdale Air can be.

When I was shopping around for my unit, I got at least a half dozen quotes and was surprised by the wide variation of price range.  The price from Scottsdale Air was the best and the installation went flawlessly.

Mr. Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our Mini split, he was very professional and communicated very well about the install and process! Would recommend him to anyone looking for professional install and great service!

Called to schedule an annual check up and got an answer right away. Turns out it was the owner who answered and immediately got me on the schedule for a 2 day turn around. Tony was professional and informative about the check up.. will definitely be using him for future needs!

My wife and I had the same experience with Karen and Rex that others seem to have had.  In addition to being extremely pleasant people, their cost was somewhat lower than the other quotes I had obtained, and they even managed to squeeze us into their busy schedule in just a matter of days.  We have drapes hanging on 3 of the 4 sides of our pergola, and their crew worked with us to figure out a configuration that would both work well and look good.  It turned out great, and we are very pleased with our mister system.

I called to set up an appointment when I returned home and discovered my heat wasn't working. Preferred Air came out quickly and did a great job explaining and answering my questions. It turned out it was an issue with the thermostat. Daniel was awesome and incredibly trustworthy. So happy with the service!

I contacted Francisco about a project with a family I was working with to get their AC fixed.
Francisco was fast, courteous and VERY Knowledgeable. Francisco will not price gouge you and tells you EXACTLY want needs to be fixed. I will recommend him to anyone in my family and friends circle.

Nowadays, its rare to find a courteous, honest & reliable professionals to do some work in your home.  We needed our AC & Heating fixed & we found Rich. He was referred by someone who he done some work with & had very good reviews with Severns AC & Heating.  We called & talked to Rich about the issue and he actually showed up the same day we called him even though it was after work hours!  He made arrangements and fixed our AC & Heating in a very timely manner and he even stayed later than he should have until the work was done! Very impressed!  Our AC wasn't working right and in July that is not a good thing.  The home warranty repair company was a week out from being able to come so I called Bell.  Didn't even look up reviews for them..they were the first that came up in my search. I called at 10am and they were able to come out this afternoon on a holiday! Chris was on time and friendly and he was able to get our AC working properly and completed the repair quickly.  We paid for the repair out of pocket and the cost was very reasonable. Highly recommend Bell Air Conditioning!!

Shout out to Kate K. for finding Jorge! He had kept my sad 16 year old unit running for years. Once again it started acting up, but the Flores company had been sold to another provider. I was stood up by a local company and luckily, I dug deep enough to find that Jorge is still working! He is a seasoned professional. He broke the news to me gently, that it was finally time to replace my unit inside and out. Super competitive pricing. He explained everything to expect in advance. The day of the job, he and his crew were on time. They wore masks. They covered everything that may be damaged. Drama free, no nonsense service as always. Jorge goes above and beyond to deliver superior service and avoid future issues.

if you don't mind paying over $300.00 for a $20.00 capacitor and another $400.00 for labor to install it, than this is your kind of place...

Very disappointed; I have been a Costco member for over a decade and have always found Costco products and service to be very high quality and value; so when I was approached to consider a A/C maintenance check I did not hesitate to think it would be quality and value.  

A technician arrived from Parker and Sons on September 16th and did the check/tune up on my 4 units. He was on time, polite and professional.  When he was done, he explained that one unit had a electrical connection that had a broken set screw from previous poor maintenance that was causing arcing and sparking and could catch the unit and the house on fire at anytime and additionally I had 4 capacitors needed to be replaced due that they too could fail at anytime.  He informed me that if I did not replace the capacitors at this time, they could fail any day causing major damage to the compressor and requiring the compressors to be replaced at a cost of approx $3000 each.

The technician stated the total cost would be around $2600 and if I did not take action I could be looking at the house catching fire and also future much more expensive repair bills due to failed compressors needing to be replaced as a result of a failed capacitor. Due to the high sales pressure and scare tactic I agreed to have the work done. He notified me when he was done with the work. I asked for the warranty paper work, the invoice of the parts and part#s of the equipment that was replaced, receipt for payment, and I had the expectation that the old parts would be left me with.  He stated he would complete the paperwork/invoice, and the receipt when he returned to his truck. He went outside, when I did not hear back from him after about 15 minutes I went outside and discovered he had departed without leaving the invoice, warranty paper work, receipts or old parts. A week later I still do not have them.

I felt I had just been scammed and did a little research on line and also taking to other HVAC technicians in the area. I discovered that the amount I paid for the work quoted was significantly above market rate and also discovered that it is rare that a failing/failed capacitor causes damage requiring a compressor to be replaced; typically the capacitor fails causing the compressor not to start...replacing the capacitor runs from $75 to $150 including labor.

I choose using this Costco service because I trust Costco and  have always found very good value in their products and services.  In this case I feel very strongly that I was taken advantage of and paid way too much.  Assuming these parts needed to be replaced, the market value for all the parts to include labor should not have exceeded $1000-$1500 tops by my post work estimates; not close to the $2600 I paid; I feel I was taken advantage of and am disappointed Costco would associate its brand with a service such as this.
