Best Painters in Arizona

We used J&M for interior painting of 4 bedrooms, including closets, doors, and also removing popcorn ceilings and retexturing, patching holes, etc., etc.   Daniel was the one that did all the ceilings and painting and did a fantastic job!   Jeff and Stacy were very pleasant and professional to work with.  We originally got a quote for 3 bedrooms and Jeff's quote was the lowest out of the 4 we received from other companies.  We found J&M by using Yelp, and in fact found out they were right around the corner from our house.  After seeing all the great reviews plus the fact that they don't take any money down and they don't want payment until you are satisfied with the job, we figured this was a win, win situation. We were so pleased with the 3 bedrooms that we decided to proceed with our master bedroom and bath. Jeff worked with our schedule and made it happen for us. Once again it was Daniel that did all the work, having a helper on the last day so he could meet our schedule.  We definitely recommend them for your painting needs.  Next project for us will be the outside and will go back to J&M and not look any further.  B and L, Glendale, AZ

We had a great experience with Robo Painting.  The crew was so thorough and kept everything so clean that we were amazed.  The house looks incredible.  Everyone that we dealt with from start to finish was so kind and professional.  We would highly recommend them.  It was actually refreshing to deal with this company as we have been dealing with other contractors where the experience has been awful.

After interviewing several painters, Joe with Extra Mile Painting was the obvious choice to paint the exterior of my home.  Not only did he arrive on time for the initial estimate but he wrote the estimate while on the job site unlike others who took days or never got back to me.  Joe and crew started and finished the job on time.  Hector, Joe's number one man on site and crew were professional, polite, and accommodating with my schedule.  Everything from beginning to end was fantastic.  Joe and Hector did a final walk of the job with my wife and I and touched up spots that needed attention.  They wanted to make sure my wife and I were completely satisfied and happy with the job.  What can I say, except, Wow.  Joe even offered to come back at a future date to touch up some wood siding that I need to replace on my home.  Communication is a huge part of any job involving contractors/painters and Joe knows how to do this with his customers.  You won't be dissatisfied when you hire this company. Just interview others and Extra Mile Painting will stand out over the rest.

I rarely give anything a perfect score and I knew that I would be hard pressed to find a decent painter in Phoenix to replace our long-term painter who recently broke his arm.  We called Arizona Best Painting (ABP) and Bob came over for an estimate.  His price was consistent with other quotes that I received and he had great reviews on Yelp.  I read Mindy and Mary's posts, but neither one of them actually had their houses painted.  They were upset about the estimate and lack of response for the work.  

I asked Bob when he could start and realistically when the job would be finished.  I was also in the process of having my house sealed and asked if he could work around their schedules.  Bob was very accommodating.  Bob let us pick out paint and drove us around our neighborhood explaining which colors were in our HOA's paint scheme and what the color on the brochure would look like on our house.  

We ordered paint samples and Bob encouraged us to put them on our house in different places, accounting for morning and afternoon shadow and to look at the colors at different times of the day to make sure it was what we wanted.  Talk about great customer service.

When it came time to paint, his crew showed up at my house, on time, and ready to go.  They explained what they were going to be doing, asked us when we were gonna need cars out of the garage (so they didn't paint at that time) and went to work.  Our house is two stories and landscape features that make it difficult to use a ladder in places.  But Bob's crew got creative and improvised to make sure the entire house was painted.

When the job was completed, Bob does a final walk through and inspection.  He caught things we didn't even see!  A week after the paint job, I noticed a blotch of paint in the rocks and called Bob to find the best way to remove it.  He told me to leave it there and he came by the next day to remove the paint and clean the rocks.  AMAZING.

Within a few weeks, I began to see quite a bit of Bob and his son as they are painting my neighbors houses.  I guess that's the best recommendation that you can get.

Alexander and his crew did a great job stuccoing /painting our large block walls. They did the work as planned and scheduled. Highly recommend them.

We recently decided to get the exterior of our home painted.  We had three painting companies come out to give us quotes.  One company came out, reviewed our needs, but never sent us a quote (!), and we never heard from them again, the second company was good, but the third, Crash of Rhinos, was excellent.  They clearly listened to what we wanted done, provided us with a complete packet of information, and sent us a detailed quote.  They they routinely communicated with us as the start date got closer.  On the start date they were there promptly in the morning, masked everything off and plastic wrapped all the backyard patio furniture for protection.  The second day they started painting and worked steady until the job was done over the next few days.  Then they did a final review with us.  Great job and I would highly recommend them.

Alina Painting did an amazing job on our exterior paint. We had several damaged stucco areas and even some crumbling concrete that was all fixed and painted crisp like new. This was a 2-man crew that completed the project in 2 days. Day 1 was a power wash and day 2 was painting. The finished product was perfect and at a very reasonable rate. We are so disappointed by the job done by Arizona Painting Company along with the complete lack of communication between their front office and their painters as well as communication with the customer. We went with this company as they had great reviews but unfortunately we did not have the same experience that other people had.

My husband did a walkthrough with Travis before the painting started. During this, my husband was very specific as to what walls we wanted painted and what colors. My husband made sure to mention that no one would be home as we had not moved in yet. He made sure to give Travis the garage code to get in.

On the start day (Thursday), I get a phone call from the front office stating that the painters were knocking and no one answered. I informed her that we had already informed Travis that no one would be home and that a garage code was provided. We thought it would be smooth after that.

Painting day #2 (Friday): I got a phone call from the project manager that they were confused as to what paint colors were going in the hallways. My husband left work so he could drive to our house to explain to the painters what needed to be painted what colors. This was extremely frustrating as we had already gone over all of this with Travis  

Painting day #3 (Saturday): I got a phone call from the painting crew that they were still working on the paint and it would be done on that upcoming Monday. We were not worried as we weren't moving in until the following Friday. I was told that we would receive a phone call on Monday 2 hours prior to them being done so we could come do a final walkthrough.

Painting day #4 (Monday): By 2pm, I had not heard anything from the painting crew so I called and spoke to the front office. After waiting on hold, I was told that the final walkthrough would be at 4pm. I told my husband and he left work to ensure that he would be there by 4pm. When he arrived, the painters were no where near done, the floors were still covered with paper and the guest bedroom wasn't even close to being completed. My husband told the crew that if they needed to come back the next day to finish that was fine with us but the crew insisted they would be done that day and that they did not need additional time.

After I was done working I went over to the house around 6:15pm. The painting crew was still done and still nowhere near done. I asked how much longer and they told me 45 minutes.

I waited around for almost 2 hours when the one painter finally came out and said that they were still not done but I could do the final walkthrough then (even though they were not done). I agreed to just look at the house even though it was only 90% done.

The painting looked awful. There was wall paint all over the baseboards, on an outlet, doors and even in a room where they hadn't painted. I told the crew they needed to fix it and I was not approving the job as done yet.

On Tuesday I went back to the house and it appeared as if they had fixed the original issues but there were still some things we were not happy about. No one reached out to us to ask if everything looked ok and we got busy as we were moving that week.

I finally got time to call on Monday and was told I'd be receiving a phone call from the project manager either that afternoon or on Tuesday morning. By Wednesday morning I still had not received a call from anyone. I called back and in a few hours the project manager reached out. I expressed my concerns to him. He wanted to come take a look at the work but at this point, I do not trust the company one bit and we just want to be done with this company. He told me he needed to speak to the GM and that the GM would reach out to us either that day or the following morning.

By Thursday afternoon I still had not heard back from the GM and had asked my husband to call before they closed. We both work full time jobs so this was very frustrating that we had to keep following up with them and taking time out of our work days to take care of this situation that had gotten way out of hand. By Friday evening, we'd finally spoken to the GM.  

We finally received the invoice on Monday and are officially done with this company and with this awful experience. Also to add, when both my husband and I arrived at the house, the painters were not wearing masks and did not put masks on when talking to us which really was just the cherry on top of this awful experience. We also noticed last night that they busted some wine glass holders we had hanging.

If you love issues with communication and do not pay close attention to detail then this company is for you! Otherwise, stay far far away. I would never use this company again and will be sure to tell everyone we know including our realtor (who often gives referrals) not to use this company! This company is a joke and I'm surprised they are still in business.

I would give AZ PAINTING 6 stars if possible, totally a 1st class company the crew Juan & Rafael we're both outstanding professionals. Friendly and personable,no request was refused no matter how small.
The job done using highest quality materials at a reasonable price point.hopefully the following pictures relay that.
If you wish to have your home or business painted or just refreshed you definitely need to give them a call for a bid.

We live in a beautiful neighborhood where the houses are being updated all around...so we decided to call FrogStar!  Annie came out and did an absolutely beautiful job making our doors look like real wood. It completely updated the entire front of our home. Worth every penny! Thank you Annie.  You are so talented!

Great painting company! Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes fast, efficient, reliable and affordable painting and drywall services! The owner Justin was very polite and very professional about his work! They did an amazing job repairing our drywall and painting our new home! We will be getting our exterior painted shortly by them as we are very pleased with the interior work completed!

Terry is great!  He gave me a more than competitive quote, and the work was done earlier than I expected by a wonderful team of guys.  Super clean, on-time, and the paint looks great.  I will definitely call this company for any more painting required.  Just FYI: Terry says he isn't a huge fan of tech, so there is no emailing of invoices or paying online.  I believe we had to actually mail a check.  Minor detail that didn't affect our experience at all. I am very happy and impressed with the work done by Trylogy! They were very responsive, very friendly, very prompt and professional and did EXCELLENT work in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend them!

Mike was a pleasure to work with to get the interior of our new house painted before we move in. His communication was excellent and he went above and beyond to ensure that the work was completed properly. Even patching holes and painting in places we didn't ask him to but needed it! We will be using his services again next year when we have the exterior painted.

Executed a quote for repainting the concrete front porch of an historic home downtown.  Quote was high but not entirely unreasonable for high-quality work, but what I received was far from that. Very little surface prep or removal of old paint was completed.  Paint was applied just hours after pressure washing.  Even a novice painter knows that this is poor workmanship. Additionally, the onsite employee's wife (presumably unpaid) assisted in the work after bringing him lunch.  The newly applied paint began to peel and separate in some areas within days of application.  Notification of this fact to the company via text was essentially met with indifference and a recommendation that we touch it up ourselves.  I consider myself lucky that I did not hire Red Rock Painting for the full exterior paint job on the home and cannot in good conscience recommend their work.
