Best Painters in Arizona

**NOTE:**   This review is for my experience in obtaining a QUOTE and NOT actual painting service.

CUSTOMER SERVICE:  5 stars
- I contacted J & M via Yelp messaging and Stacy responded fairly quickly.  She helped schedule an appointment for Jeff to come and view areas to be painted.
- Jeff (owner) came out the following day.  He walked throughout the house for approximate total of 10 mins. and left.  He said he would email me a quote within an hour and he did!
- Very impressed with their response time.  Both Jeff and Stacy were very nice and professional.
- One way they stood apart from other companies was the nice coffee mugs they gave us as a gift.  What a nice touch!! :)

PRICING:  3.5 Stars
- Based on the multiple reviews for pricing, I was anticipating a lower price. His pricing was over $1000 more than two other quotes we received.  It worked out to be $1.55 per sq. ft.
- Our quote was for labor only to paint interior of house (approx 1965 sq. ft.) excluding closets, baseboards, door trims, and ceilings.  Paint would have been provided by us.  I wanted to give these details in case it may help someone looking for a similar service.  
- Jeff and Stacy explained that the pricing was higher because they would have to brush and roll everything vs. spraying which is quicker.  Though I completely understand, other companies quoted less for the same labor.

Hopefully, this helps anyone looking for a quote for 'similar' services.  J & M got high ratings for a reason so please don't just go by my review.  Each person's budget is different and their pricing was not in our budget nor close to other bids.  If it was, we would have definitely gone with them because of their excellent customer service which is huge in any industry!!  Thanks again Jeff and Stacy for your valuable time and much appreciated customer service! ;)

I had both interior and exterior of my home painted before move-in.  If you want an excellent painting that you can rely on being completed on time, hire Rising Phoenix.  Rising Phoenix is an all around win with quality of work, pricing, communication and reliability.  Couldn't have been more pleased!!

Just had my 3500 sq ft home painted (ceilings and trim etc). On top of an amazing job, the price was fair (lower than other quotes) and work was fantastic. Workers were on time daily, very kind and reliable. Would use again!!

Thanks for the response to my review.  However, what you may not know is when Patricia came to my house to estimate painting of interior/Exterior painting  and cool deck, she said while at my house that all cracks on pool deck will be repaired and the deck re-surfaced.  She noticed more than one crack at the time of inspection and on Saturday she admitted to her mistake to only estimate one crack repair.  However, as you know, in AZ there will not ever be just one crack on a pool deck after six years since last resurfacing was done.

Yes, I was deceived because she had already provided a signed estimate of $1,100 and as mentioned she would have all cracks repaired and not once did she mention while at my home that re-texturing was needed.  Both myself, my wife and another local Contractor inspected the cool deck yesterday once again and found no damage to the texture and that it was still in good condition with normal wear and tear.  Patricia never told me workers weren't coming back and I had to ask what happened.  That's when she said the store is closed due to the holiday and I asked what about Home Depot? The workers never told us either when they arrived or when they left.  It appeared they didn't want to work and the only thing they did was spray the deck with water and got rocks and plaster in my pool which was sloppy.  To charge $2,600 to re-surface a cool deck is outrageous and called price gouging.  So that alone forced me to cancel once the workers ghosted our job without telling us. It appears they wanted more money than the job was ever worth.  I was a Commercial Property Staff Adjuster in a past life and reviewed damage estimates all day and that price wouldn't fly for a cool deck either commercially or for residential properties. The contractor I hired to inspect the deck yesterday said that price she quoted would be sufficient to rebuild or install a new cool deck, and not a re-surfacing job.  He advised that job should only cost $300.  The exterior painting was good, but unfortunately, based on how I was treated by Patricia, which felt like a debate and constant follow up for line items left off estimate as verbally agreed upon while she was here, is the reason it's not worth the hassle or my time as a busy person.  Life is too short for people who don't like to make things easy and do not put the customer first.  Even $1,100 was already too high for a re-surface on a cool deck but I left it alone until Saturday when Patricia texted that the price is now $2,600, and when done,I wouldn't  have a brand new cool deck with all new concrete.  It would have been far better to decline that job rather than to price gouge which is the case here.

I have already hired another painter to paint the interior of my home.  Your company lost quite a bit of business over poor customer service and price gouging.

Didn't end up using them due to schedule but they were great in the quote process!!! Pretty straight up and responsive !

We just had the entire interior of our home painted by Arizona Best Family Painting. They did a great job. Ron came out and did the estimate.  He was so nice and professional.  It was a pleasure from the very beginning. Their pricing was very competitive. Armando and his crew did a great job on the house.  It looks fabulous. They were on time each day and very professional and friendly.  I moved everything to the center of each room but they were  very understanding about the heavy furniture and they moved it for me. Armando really wanted to make sure I was happy with the work and finished product.  Overall, it was a very good experience and I would highly recommend them and use them again.  Many thanks!

Of all the different work we've had done on our house, this was the most seamless and best experience.  Called on a Monday for a quote, and Alexander was able to head out that evening and gave us an estimate with fair pricing.  He was able to squeeze us in and came back out with his team on Friday morning to complete the job in less than a day.

It was an interior hallway, multiple bedrooms, and a bathroom we had painted and the results were great.  No complaints at all.

These guys are excellent!!  Provided daily updates with photos.  Communication par excellence! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone!

I scheduled Alain Painting to paint my nursery. They were willing to get the paint for me but I'd already purchased it as I wanted to make sure I got Ecco (low-emissions paint). it was a small job, just 2 walls and 2 different colors. Alexander coordinated a time and date for me and he and his guys (a total of 3 men) were punctual and professional. They were in and out in a matter of 2.5 hours. And the job was spectacular. Alexander will be back on Tuesday to install the decal--it's a tree with leaves, birds, and our daughter's name. It'll sit just over her crib.

They did a great job and were on time everyday of the job 10/25-10/27 crew was great to work with and made sure job was done to our satisfaction. There was an issue with the color match on the trim but they went the extra mile to make sure their supplier corrected it to make it right. I would highly recommend their services.

Love love love the transformation to my home!!!  Juan was meticulous to detail. If you need painting done this is the company to hire.  My quote was over $1000 less than other companies and they were able to get my job done the next week as other companies were 4-6 weeks out scheduling.

I had this whole Indiana Jones weathered adventure map look I wanted for the bedroom but didn't know how to execute it. Annie helped me with examples and suggestions until I found exactly what I was looking for! It's a GREAT canvas to hang adventurey artifacts on. 10/10 would have paint rooms again

I highly recommend Robert! You wont regret it! He was very easy to work with and knowledgeable! My house is at least 3000 sq ft and he was able to finish it flawlessly in two days! I am not easy to please but I am so happy with the finish! Also I love my daughter's room! He was able to help me pick the right color!

Great painting company! Definitely would recommend to anyone who likes fast, efficient, reliable and affordable painting and drywall services! The owner Justin was very polite and very professional about his work! They did an amazing job repairing our drywall and painting our new home! We will be getting our exterior painted shortly by them as we are very pleased with the interior work completed!

Called to get an estimate and set up sn appointment.  Got a call from Terry 20 minutes before my scheduled time saying something came up, we need to reschedule.  Waste of my time! I will not be using them. I can imagine how the job would go. Very disappointing.  Was referred by another customer in the Cave Creek store, but obviously this one isn't ran the same.

I am very happy and impressed with the work done by Trylogy! They were very responsive, very friendly, very prompt and professional and did EXCELLENT work in a very timely manner. I would definitely recommend them!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Mike and his crew.  You will not be disappointed in the job they do for you.   Professional, timely, outstanding paint job.  (I can't say enough about how refreshing it was to hire a painter that didn't skrimp on the paint, has excellent attention to detail, shows up when they say they are going to, gets the job done quick & comes back if there is a touch up that needs to be done).  They literally painted every aspect of our extensive renovation; Interior (ceiling, doors, trim, walls), entire exterior, garage interior.  They do it all.  Mike knows what he's talking about when it comes to paint; he's great at making suggestions and he's so pleasant.  He has a great team!
We called State 48 Paint when we spotted his truck in front of us on the road (not our normal MO for hiring but we took a chance - b/c to be quite honest, the paint job on his truck looks pretty bada--).  He immediately arranged an appointment with us and the rest is history.  They worked on the hottest day of the summer this year painting the exterior.  Outstanding men who work hard and deserve ALL the credit for making our home look beautiful.  (The pics don't convey the extent of the job they did - but trust me, I will always be calling State 48 Paint when I need another job done).  Thanks Mike!!!!

Red Rock did an amazing job on our house! They painted the interior and it looks great. I was very happy with the end results. The owner gave us great guidance on the right color which I appreciated, very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this company!
