Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

Our AC began blowing warm air at some point last night and we struggled through the night with no AC, which isn't fun with a two year old. I left messages with a bunch of places first thing this morning trying to get someone out. Joe called me back almost right away but I had just gotten off the phone with another company, and they were sending someone over later that morning. I thanked Joe for the call and he was very professional when I told him that I had just agreed to have another HVAC company come over. He even offered to come by and give a second opinion if needed. Long story short, the original guy drove by our house, didn't like the look of where the AC unit was on the roof, and called me back saying that he couldn't do the job. I remembered how nice Joe was on the phone and explained the situation to him. He was able to swing by in about an hour to take a look. It took him about two minutes to diagnose that we needed a new fan blade as it was completely shredded and ran out to get the part and came back to install it. He advised that sometimes when the blade is damaged it can also damage the motor, but ours still looked in decent shape after testing it without the blade. He offered a discount if we wanted to replace both, but wasn't pushy at all about it. We decided to just stick with the fan blade, but it was refreshing to have someone be so honest about your needs. Joe could have easily said that our motor absolutely needed replacement and we wouldn't have known otherwise. Joe will definitely be my first call in the future for HVAC needs as his service and demeanor was top notch!

I called on Saturday for a basic service call. Price was reasonable at $59. They were booked until 12 but I was called as soon as a tech was available. Louis came out to check the unit. Now my unit is 19 yrs old so typically ac companies tell me I need a new one. Not Louis. He checked my unit and told me it was running at all optimal conditions.  He even said if its not broke don't fix it, which you never hear from ac guys.  Their techs get paid per hour and not by commission. Their care for the customers' best interest really shows. He took the time to explain the service he performed and was very professional.

Had my hot water heater maintenance done by XCompany which caused a leak on the pressure valve. I was told it would have to be replaced at a cost of 1,800.00 - I got a few more quotes until the price went down to a couple around 1K, including Safe Dry Out.
Safe Dry Out is the only one who bothered to ask what was wrong with the water heater and suggested it could be fixed instead. I went from having to fork out 1,800.00 to only spending 150.00
Mike could have easily gone with the rest and said the only solution was to replace it. This to me shows integrity and honesty. The quality of work was excellent and, to top it off, he was extremely patient with my 80 year old father hanging around. Thank you Mike!

Our service man Mike Greco showed up on time and kept in touch earlier in the day via text. He did a yearly AC check up and everything was fine and the price was great.

The service technicians were quick to respond. They were professional and cost was very reasonable.  I was very pleased with their service, so I had them service my daughters A/C.  They found an issue caused by a previous company that was causing the A/C not to run efficiently.  It was corrected. I will definitely be using their services in the future.

Up front. Honest. Professional. These guys did an amazing job cleaning my ducts and vents. They were honest about time frames and with what services were included. I'm ready to use them again for the next cleaning I need done.

Our A/C stopped working, of course, in the middle of the summer.  I read the Yelp reviews and decided to give Alternative Air a call first to see if they could come out.  I was expecting to be told that we would have to wait a few days before someone could come out.  I was pleasantly surprised to be told that a technician would be over in about 40 minutes due to a cancellation.  The technician, Gage, arrived within the promised timeframe.  Gage was courteous and helpful.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the part and was all done within a half hour of arriving.  I have never had issues with an A/C unit before so I'm not sure what everything costs but I did pay less than I expected.  I would definitely recommend them and will call them again for any A/C issues.

Can't thank you enough for checking on my a/c today and assuring everything was alright.  It's nice to know there are companies that stand behind their products!

went online to get a quote for dryer vent cleaning. No response yet. Called to ask for a quote guy just tells me he needs all info i said i did it online. He like oh ok well get back to you. Really you cant just give me the quote right now...? i liked the fb reviews but the lack of communication is horrible.

Good communication and professional. Wore his mask the entire time which I very much appreciated due to high risk children in the home. He was honest and straightforward with no pressure. Pricing was very reasonable. Definitely be using him for any future AC emergencies or needs.

I was looking for a contractor to install a complete heating and a/c unit. Calling most of the directory listed companies, I could not get anyone to come out to bid. Then I ran across this new business R&R, what a find! Ray came out as scheduled and on time. He is very knowledgeable and patiently went over the details of his design. I had total confidence in his plan. We scheduled the install and Ray not once disappointed us. He made every appointment and not one late show up. Our system performs perfect! I highly recommend this business.

Quick help, nice guy and easy to schedule with! Definitely will recommend! We had an emergency when our AC went out in the middle of Phoenix summer....on a Friday... He was able to come out that Friday evening, check it out, give us a temporary fix until he got the part in and then fixed it the following week. The temporary fix kept the ac working so we didn't have to stay somewhere else. Super great experience!

I contacted Sorensen Heating and Air Conditioning to come out and service my AC unit before summer hit.  After several snags with scheduling and finally getting them out I was impressed with their service and knowledge.  They were very professional, took the time to explain what they were going to do.  Afterwards I was shown what they did and any recommendations.  I appreciated the no up-selling service and attitude.  I will use them again in the future, be patient as communication is a bit spotty.
