Best Heating & Air Conditioning/HVAC in Arizona

Kurt from Felix Appliance Repair fixed our microwave today! SO polite, wore a mask & gloves (so thoughtful during this pandemic).
He went above and beyond by also checking out an issue I had been having with my stove, despite the fact I had only made the service call for the microwave. Taking the extra time, he determined the issue so I would know whether to get the stove repaired, or replaced.  He did not charge anything additional for the troubleshooting.  
I would DEFINITELY recommend him for any appliance repairs. There is a travel fee, but it is added to the repair of the appliance if you decide to have him fix it. He gave me a 1 year warranty on parts & a 3 year on labor.
(When I originally booked the appointment, I spoke with Kurt over the phone to give him an idea of what I thought was wrong with the microwave. I didn't want to pay a service fee if it would likely be determined non-repairable. He was more than happy to listen & troubleshoot to the best of his ability over the phone & give me a rough guesstimate on the repair price.)
Maybe I was just lucky he was right on what was needed for the repair, & that he had ordered & brought the correct parts for the job.
But, I got the impression he would've done what he could to make sure I was happy with the service & outcome. Very knowledgeable about appliances too.

This is one great contractor to have inspect, service or replace your system. The technicians were Honest, Truthful, and true to their word. I would call or hire nobody else in the Payson area. PLEASE Give them a chance to earn your trust in great local Ac/Heating Contractor, I recommend them 110%.

Great service from Nick and his company, I literally texted him nextdoor this morning, he responded very fast, and was at my house in 2 hours to fix our AC unit, now it starts and operates much better, much quieter. We have been using Wise Mechanical for our air conditioning and heating repairs and maintenance for over a year now. Joe is outstanding and provides fantastic service. We moved into a 20-year old house last year and signed up for Joe's annual maintenance program. I had recently purchased a smart thermostat for our rental home & needed an AC professional to come install the unit as we were unable to do so ourselves.  Ecobee offers HomeAdvisor as an option to help look for technicians within your area that can help with the install.  Within 5 min of speaking with the representative from HomeAdvisor, I got a phone call and text from 480 Mechanical following up on the request.  I called back and was immediately able to schedule for a technician to come install the thermostat same day, as they had an available window.  From the time that I booked with the company to the time the technician arrived, I was updated on his ETA.  The service technician that installed our unit was Dominic.  Dominic was very informative and helped us understand the different functions of the smart thermostat that we had purchased.  He also gave us helpful tips as we are first time AZ residents. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs professional AC assistance.

TL;DR version: this is an honest company that represents both their profession and people with honor.

If you live in Phoenix your worse nightmare is your A/C going out. You pray to whatever being you worship that it's a cheap repair because who puts $8,000 away for a new A/C unit?

Mine conked out on a hotter fall day and trying to get same day service was challenging. I called A&M but couldn't coordinate correctly and with my back to the wall, I went with a company that could get my house cool and keep me and four legged creatures alive.

That being said, Amy at A&M was beyond helpful in giving me good information so I made an informed decision. There wasn't a sale in it for the company, but she represented both humanity and her profession with honor. She helped me understand that I was getting a fair price and unit from her competitor and put my needs in front of making a dollar!

I wasn't their customer, but they treated me like a human being in need and I would use this company without hesitation. The other company did a great job, too, but I wanted to commend A&M for being helpful when they didn't need to be. Thank you!

We live in a home where Chas Roberts installed the AC so we knew there would be issues but the first year was even worse than we thought. We had to call them out multiple times with the issues we were having and each time they said they fixed the problem. Too bad it was never actually fixed. I don't know if they were lying, incompetent, or both, but I got sick of it so I had Rustys come take a look. They found the actual issue within 20 minutes which Chas Roberts took multiple visits to miss. Chas Roberts told me I would have to wait 5 months for them to come and fix a mistake they created so I had Rustys fix it at a great price in less than a week. Rustys should be the go-to fix for all the shortcut problems and run-around games that these big HVAC companies try and pull with their customers. Our house feels comfortable for the first time since we moved in thanks to Rustys.

I had an original separate company diagnose what was wrong with my ac it took them 3 visits before they told what was wrong with it and they charged almost triple the cost Overson did. he came over within 24 hours took a look and got me squared away. Will definitely only go to them for all my hvac needs

Working with Chris and his team is a DREAM! They are very professional, reliable and willing to go the extra mile. I had some electrical work done by his company and it was completely seamless. Great ideas and fun to work with-- also Christina is a true GEM!
I would highly recommend them for any project mid size to high end. Can't say enough great things :)

I had a bit of a leaky valve emergency, but the plumber couldn't make it until two days later. So instead, he talked me through repairing the valve myself, and which one to buy at Home Depot. I followed his advice and fixed the problem myself. He saved me a couple hundred bucks for a house call. Outstanding!

Huge shout out to these guys.  I returned from a vacation and found that the thermostat had been damaged by a recent storm.  Needless to say the house was very hot!  Within 90 minutes of my call, they were on site, went the extra mile to get a temporary stat to get me cool, and then replaced the original one the following day.  What really got me was that they could easily have said that they would have me up and running the following day when they got the part, and I would have expected that.  But, the didn't.  They went to the  effort of getting a substitute part immediately, and actually had to do the work twice just so I could sleep cool that night.  This was all at no cost to me since the system was under warranty, therefore, the didn't get any additional revenue for the extra work.  Very responsive to say the least!

This is  A GREAT company. Arrived in  within 2 hours, repaired my AC and didn't break the bank. Jason checked the entire system and did it with expertise! Thanks so much!

Just had Loe's in to repair my refrigerator and I couldn't be happier. Laron was professional gave me a solid fair estimate and delivered on his promise. I contacted whirlpool since the fridge was only two years old and they basically told
me to go pound salt. If you need quality repair at a fair price from a really nice guy then please use Loe's you won't regret it.

Had Emergency Air replace my HVAC unit in October and can't get them to help get the unit to work correctly. Have to wear sweatshirts and long pants in my downstairs even though my thermostat is set on 70-72 upstairs. They don't answer calls or texts for follow-up service.

Well, time to find a new company to service my air conditioner. They give you a two hour window, but do not show up. I guess their business is more important than mine. When 11:00 came and went, I called and talked to Rosie, the manager in charge of scheduling. She told me that the tech was on his way, yes he is running a bit late. When I pressed the issue she then apologized. It's a shame because I think the techs are actually pretty good. I have gotten great service in the past. So, if you have the time to sit around waiting, then go with Brewers. If you have a life, you should probably consider an alternative.

I had Yavapai come and do an A/C maintenance before the hot summer season. I have a unit going on 20 years and didn't want to have to buy a new unit if possible. Jose Gomez was an amazing technician that told me exactly what I needed to have done. Work was done promptly and now my A/C am ready for summer.

I used Discount Air since they have many positive reviews on my Neighborhood website. I tried Costco and Home Depot, but backed out when I discovered they both use Parker and Sons which has many negative reviews online. I also did not want to pay for all the commercials they have on T.V. Why do they have to advertise so much?
I got a good price, and they had a large crew who completed the job on a hot day in a few hours. I have an additional unit that is still running, but plan on using them again when the system fails. I am so glad this family run company exists in town. Thanks Discount Air! I wasn't ripped off.
