I needed my roof replaced as it was getting old and starting to show signs of wear and tear. I had a few roofing companies come out and provide free estimates and Hardacker Roofing was the one of the most competitive that also provided a 10-year workmanship warranty. They came out the following week and went to work on replacing the roof. They did such a good job and I absolutely love my new roof. I had my house painted afterwards and the roof and paint job make it look like a brand new house. :)

I selected Mikku and Sons to reroof a concrete tile roof on my home in North Scottsdale.  Mikku and Sons came in with a bid a couple thousand less than a few higher profile groups.  Most reviews on several sites are positive, so I contracted them for the job.  The roofers seemed to do a fine job.  The roof looks sharp and withstood the recent rains without issue.  We had a good experience with Mikku and sons.  Saved quite a bit.  I would recommend.

Selling a house, the Home Inspector found a few problem areas with roof. The roofers came in, not only doing a great job repairing areas identified in inspection report, but then checked entire roof to ensure there were no other problems not included in inspection.

My wife and I have been Zonies for almost 20 years now.  At least two of the things we learned over those years were Arizona roofs are different and home contractors (in general) can't be trusted. It's sad to say, really, really sad,  but a quick search on tha AZ Contractors Registration Site will show you thousands upon thousands of unregistred and scamming contractors that have been caught in the act. And thats not to show you those that have yet to be uncovered.
So, with that consideration in mind, we did some research and found Arizona Roofing Systems to be highly recommended, licensed, and free of complaints.  And to top it off they are on The Home Depot list of 'suggested' roofing contractors in our part of the East Valley. That does not mean they work for the HD, or even use HD products; but they are referred by HD and HD keeps track of their record. A big plus!  Just like YELP!
So far, they answered the inquiry quickly, showed up for the estimate exactly on time looking and sounding like a professional contractor. Todd (the estimator) answered all the questions properly and (with a huge consideration for sticker shock on our part) gave a fair estimate and a logical starting time.
So, as a long ago retired east coast roofer myself (from an era when ladders were made of wood) and an avid YELPER........we will certainly keep you all posted on how the job goes. From estimated starting time to actual starting time to finish time,  helpers, cleanup and quality of work.  K?

..2nd report:  They were actually one week ahead of their promised arrival schedule. That was a big plus because we are getting the house painted on the inside and we wanted to repair the ceiling ( from a leak) before the painters came. And with Monsoons peaking around the San Tans it was double important. So here they are, the whole crew neat and very, very professional working in the blazing sun and baking heat. They did a beautiful job with all the edges and keys lining up and without too much booming and ruckus. Cleanup was perfect and bushes and grass all left in good shape.
Now, lets wait for a rain......

Fantastic job! I got three bids for a roof replacement for our place in Glendale. Almeida was great to work with through the entire process. They were able to get everything handled remotely effortlessly.

Their bid was the lowest of the companies I chose, their warranty for workmanship was the best, and they were able to start the work the following week.

At the end of both days, it was like the crew wasn't even there. The worksite was left immaculate and the roof looks great.

Best experience I've had with a contractor in recent memory. Historically, I hate having to find to a good person to do work on my home, either worried about them making a mess, giving me an initial quote and the final quote being higher, etc.

I had a great experience, the owner spent time explaining the process to me, ensured the job got done quickly and it turned out looking beautiful with minimal stress to me. Since my roof was replaced I have referred ProWest to other family/friends and they have all had similar experiences.

If you need a roof replaced, don't waste time checking every place. Just use ProWest and you'll be happy.

I actually found these guys by accident.  A stucco guy named McMillan was canvassing the neighborhood.  We needed stucco, so I took his card and then looked him up.  That's how I found McMillan Brothers.  They are in no way related to the first guy I met, they just happen to have the same name.

I got a bid for the first McMillan guy, and then I called *McMillan Brothers* based on ratings and the RoC license search.  Their bid was a lot higher (by about 50%), but they were also more detailed in what they would do for me, and how they would do it.  The first guy almost seemed like he was offering too much for the price he was going to charge.  I didn't get a bad feeling from him, just that he kept saying yeah, I'll add that at no charge to almost everything we requested.  I didn't see how he could do a quality job and still make a profit like that.

So we accepted the McMillan Brothers' bid.

Not cheap, but Edgar was very thorough and did great work patching stucco and making sure it was right.   There were a lot of fine cracks, and some bigger ones, and a couple of spots it had flaked-off, and they did them all.  Our home looked like a zebra for a couple of days while they did the patching.

They spent almost three days taping and patching before they applied a drop of paint. Then they use premium paint to finish the job.  They both sprayed and back-rolled, effectively two coats, to assure a solid coating.  This took another two days.  And our house isn't THAT big, they were just careful and thorough.

After they stripped all the tape we did a walk-around.  They fixed a couple of minor things (like a small leaf had blown onto the wet paint and dried there...they removed it and touched it up so I can't even see it).  They warranty the work for 10 years.  It's amazing how much brighter our home looks now; like brand-new.

Yes, if we need more painting I'll probably call these guys.  I'm willing to pay a bit more if the job is done right.

*Update:  we had an extra line item in our estimate (painting the back fence).  I didn't realize it, but they actually went ahead and did it even though I remember saying we'll skip it for now.  Honest misunderstanding, but they did do the work, expending time and materials.  I was impressed how George (one of the owners) handled it.  Instead of pointing fingers, George and I worked out something that was fair to both of us.  So add good customer service to the list of positive attributes of this company.

I never gave anyone a 5 star review. I did for this company because they are rock solid.  
The reasons : of the several companies who bid on the job Luis was the only 'owner-estimator'. All the others had salesmen.
Their bid was very competitive.
The crew was on schedule, made minor changes that I requested with no resistance and did a great job.

But there is more to the story:

There was a fairly major screw up which resulted in an expensive repair, usually something like this would cause me to say something negative about the company ... but sometimes 's--t happens' and what matters is how you respond to it.
L&R did everything they could to make it right, no excuses, no hedging they just took the attitude of 'whatever it takes' and made it right.

Like I said : Rock Solid.

After I discovered a leak coming from my roof during the last heavy storm, I called several roofing companies to do an inspection and provide an estimate.

Dean from Brown Roofing was the first to show up. He quickly texted some pictures of a vent flashing problem and caulked it for free! I was amazed... having dealt with another roofer in the past that has low ratings on YELP for a good reason. I figured
it would take estimates from multiple companies to get a true indication of the problem... not needed this time!

Dean also gave me honest feedback regarding the condition of the roof's underlayment... Brown Roofing is first in line when I need to have it replaced.

Honesty and integrity goes a lonnng way in the contracting business! I would not hesitate to call Dean at Brown Roofing if you have a roofing problem!

The owner of the company came and spoke with me. Everyone was extremely polite and they did an amazing job. My house looks amazing and they also cleaned everything up. I will call them whenever I need any painting done.

Jordon and his team did a wonderful job replacing the roof for my house.  He provided competitive price for the quote with detailed info of what's included and what's not.  Good quality underlayment and wood materials were used. I was kept informed the whole process with progress pictures and quick text message reply.  Very satisfied with the workmanship and final results. Definitely I'll feel comfortable of recommending this company to my friends and will keep using them for my future roofing needs.

They are definitely very conscientious about good communication throughout the process.  I thought the price quote was reasonable and I am comfortable with the work they did.  Would definitely recommend.

I can't say enough about what a great company this is.  Bart was totally honest and gets to the root of he problem they are extremely affordable professional and do only what needed. You won't be disappointed with this company. Trust me use them.

We needed to have a professional look at our roof and identify any necessary repairs.  They were able to get us in the schedule and in just a few days we had an inspection and got good news.  Just a broken tile or two and that our under-paper was in pretty good shape.  They quickly got back out and replaced the broken tiles and did some seam sealing.  Honest assessment, quick scheduling and a fair price!

It's hard to find a roofing company that can be trusted and honest and experienced, and although my repairs aren't serious, they helped me with the repairs right away, thank you very much Robert and Dorothy, whose efforts and attitude can hold me to their trust.

Alex was quick to reply.  He came out to give me an estimate when he said he would.  Company was competitively priced.  Work started promptly on the day they said it would.   Job involved tile, foam and rolled roofing. They were professional, cleaned up after, went out of their way to make sure the job was done right. Highly recommend them.
