Arizona Roofing Systems

My wife and I have been Zonies for almost 20 years now.  At least two of the things we learned over those years were Arizona roofs are different and home contractors (in general) can't be trusted. It's sad to say, really, really sad,  but a quick search on tha AZ Contractors Registration Site will show you thousands upon thousands of unregistred and scamming contractors that have been caught in the act. And thats not to show you those that have yet to be uncovered.
So, with that consideration in mind, we did some research and found Arizona Roofing Systems to be highly recommended, licensed, and free of complaints.  And to top it off they are on The Home Depot list of 'suggested' roofing contractors in our part of the East Valley. That does not mean they work for the HD, or even use HD products; but they are referred by HD and HD keeps track of their record. A big plus!  Just like YELP!
So far, they answered the inquiry quickly, showed up for the estimate exactly on time looking and sounding like a professional contractor. Todd (the estimator) answered all the questions properly and (with a huge consideration for sticker shock on our part) gave a fair estimate and a logical starting time.
So, as a long ago retired east coast roofer myself (from an era when ladders were made of wood) and an avid YELPER........we will certainly keep you all posted on how the job goes. From estimated starting time to actual starting time to finish time,  helpers, cleanup and quality of work.  K?

..2nd report:  They were actually one week ahead of their promised arrival schedule. That was a big plus because we are getting the house painted on the inside and we wanted to repair the ceiling ( from a leak) before the painters came. And with Monsoons peaking around the San Tans it was double important. So here they are, the whole crew neat and very, very professional working in the blazing sun and baking heat. They did a beautiful job with all the edges and keys lining up and without too much booming and ruckus. Cleanup was perfect and bushes and grass all left in good shape.
Now, lets wait for a rain......

It was no easy feat for me to find a trustworthy, quality roofing company.  I tried to get in touch with the one I used on my old house in 2016 but I don't know if they're still in business as they didn't answer the phone nor could I leave a message with the mailbox full.  I sent out multiple Yelp inquiries to several companies and this one was the first to respond.  This company was the most appealing to me out of the other ones with it's good reviews and friendly customer service team.

Their estimator Todd was able to come out the same afternoon.  I was on edge all day with the damage stressing me out and I really appreciated how Todd was so friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough he was during the inspection.  I spent some time with him outside while he was inspecting and he took the time to explain to me what he was seeing and answered all of my questions.  What sold me before the visit was over was that he cared enough to carry his clipboard with him to take notes, took pictures, and came inside my home to see how the damage from the outside was affecting the inside.
I had different roofer come out before him and did none of this with the visit ending after 10 minutes.  Todd's visit took about 30 minutes.  He was able to confirm the same details as the other roofer and provided so much more information.

At the end of the visit, Todd wrote out an invoice with the details of the job and quoted me a price I could live with to my relief.  The different roofer wanted to replace only half of the roof and leave the other half alone as it was still in good condition.  Different roofer also said that he doesn't work with foam and there was some damage that occurred in the areas where the foam was.  Todd's proposal only needed to have my roof resealed, a couple of broken shingles replaced, and all the holes left by birds patched up.  They had no limitations on the materials to work with, including foam.  I was able to save thousands of dollars in unnecessary work and get ALL of the damaged areas repaired thanks to him and ARS.

Now that the repair is done and payment taken, I wanted to leave my thoughts.  There were some hiccups that prevented me from rating a perfect 5 stars but those hiccups were quickly rectified to my satisfaction.  You can rest easy with choosing this company.  I won't hesitate on calling them again for future projects.

I searched through Yelp to find a roofing company to fix the leak in my roof.  Az Roofing systems was the first to reply.  I exchanged information with them and got a call from Mike Fuller.  It was a Friday, so he asked if we could schedule for the following week, which was fine with me.  After some miscommunication, Mike came out and went above and beyond what I expected from any company.  This is the type of company I wish I could always work with.  Their care and sincere concern for my problem were
very much appreciated, and NO LEAKS!

We had Arizona Roofing Systems replace the underlayment on our roof. In general, they did a pretty good job. The people are super friendly and accessible. There were just a couple issues I wish had been handled better. First was the scheduling. We had certain days that were not good for us due to my daughter working the graveyard shift on Wednesday and Thursday night, they schedule us for Monday-Wednesday. Well, the job didn't complete until Friday afternoon. It would have been much better had they communicated to us what was going on the day before so we could have adjusted our schedules. Second, they couldn't find matching tiles. They assured us they would do it in such a way it wouldn't be noticeable. Well, they didn't. I have a couple very noticeable stripes. A little disappointing since every other house in our neighborhood that has had this done doesn't have this problem. Also, I asked that the mortar be tinted and it wasn't. These weren't huge issues, but certainly wish they had been handled better. Now, it just better be leak free!

Didn't know fining a roof repair company would be so difficult, but half these companies don't do this or that and I was given the runaround from a few places even though all I needed to get done was a few broken tiles..Maybe my job was too small for other places so they blew me off, I don't know, but I was happy when I found Arizona Roofing Systems. They came out for a quote when they said they would and when I was finally ready to schedule it was done within a couple days. No hassles. Quality work as far as we can tell.

As it turns out I needed a general contractor (not a roof contractor) so I did not use Arizona Roofing. But Chris was very helpful and even took the time to help point me in the right direction to get my issue resolved.

We had Mike Fuller give us a bid to re-coat our roof walk decks. He was professional and knowledgeable, and, gave us suggestions on what was best. They did a great job, neat and cleaned up after every step of the process. We would certainly use them again.

Had my roof replaced in 2019, then while selling the home in 2020 we had a buyer's inspector come out. While the inspector did find a few items for repair, though none were causing any issue with the roof, I got back in touch with Arizona Roofing Systems and Christina scheduled all of our repairs, which were covered under our warranty. Gives me and our buyer peace of mind! Thank you for getting us taken care of!

These guys suck! Spent over $40,000 on The last roof you'll ever need - lifetime gaurantee!. Now I have 7 leaks in my roof. Some new, some of the same old leaks. I can't even get a return phone call! I have been calling them since November! They came out once, roof still leaks and I have been getting blown off ever since. Once they have your money - have a nice day!

Needed some roofing work done for a house I was in the process of selling (various broken roof tiles replaced and address a small interier rook leak)... Called Arizona Roofing systems when I saw a truck in my neighborhood and found great reviews on-line.  They didn't disappoint.  They responded to email quickly and came out the next day for an estimate, then Josh met with me a few days later to go over items in person. The work was done only a day or two after I gave the go-ahead and I was provided pictures of the work done.  Overall price was just what they had estimated, and roughly what I expected for the amout of work needing to be done.  Just a wonderful experience.  Would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing roof work done.

One of the best roofing companies I've ever worked with! It is very refreshing to have a company actually pick up their phone and answer versus leave a voice mail and wait for a call back. I needed a roof estimate (patio roof area in particular) for home located in Mesa.  My client was under a time crunch and AZ Roofing was able to fit me in their schedule quickly able to take a look at the home and assess its condition. A very thorough inspection was done and common sense approach was taken (ran a hose on the roof to determine if any leaks were active or inactive leaks with old water stains). With their professional help and guidance with regard to the condition of the roof, we were able to move forward with the home purchase and know that any future roofing need (we'll soon need a new patio roof as they don't last long) in good hands with  no other company but AZ Roofing. Excellent from start to finish. I am 2500 miles away from my home in Arizona and Josh handled everything. Arizona roofing came in well under the estimate and put better materials on the roof then I had before the damage. I highly recommend them.
