It all started with a bubble. A water bubble in my wall to be specific. I knew it was trouble.

Our roof was about 25 years old and the paint on the exterior of our house was probably just as dated. My husband called 3 companies for quotes to replace our roof underlayment and to have the house painted. All three companies seemed in line price-wise, but McMillan Bros just FELT like the better choice. They talked about the prep work they'd do to ensure everything was perfect. The guys just seemed like they were the right way to go.

The roof and paint took about 3 weeks with rain and holiday breaks (this was over Christmas/New Years). The roofers and painters were nice and super professional and you could tell they were proud of the good work that they did.

Our house is easily the nicest looking in the neighborhood now. I would recommend McMillan Bros to anyone asking.

My sister, mom, and neighbor all had one of the McMillan Brothers come out and paint their homes between 2021-2022. My husband and I have been trying to decide on what we wanted to do, after the storms this year did a lot of damage to the paint on the outside of our home. After getting a few quotes and doing some research on Yelp we decided to call the McMillan Brothers. Nelson was able to come out the next day and give me a quote for the house. After we decided to move forward Nelson had his crew came out to our house the next day! So fast!!

They include just about everything in their service. They power wash the entire house, move the rock around the foundation, mask off and paint. We were very happy that they took the time to move the rock to paint the foundation and didn't get paint on the rock, or overspray it. They also took the time to mask off REALLY well and protect everything else we didn't want paint on. They covered our travertine, concrete, our outside ceiling fans and lights, and moved our patio furniture. Our house is pretty big so it took a full 2 days, but man they hustled in those 2 days!

The finished product is amazing! Our greens are so much deeper and richer, and I love the gloss finish, it really makes the house pop! I can't believe there is no overspray..... anywhere.... they masked everything off to have perfect lines and everything was covered beautifully! We will definitely be using them on our other properties.

They just were very professional and performed a excellent job of power washing and taping the windows and doors. They made repairs to the small holes in the walls ect., before painting. Did a superb job of painting the house and not spraying sidewalk and walkways or the stones and gravel against the house. There was not overspray anywhere...! Just a superb professional job..! I got a quote on a weekend when I was home. I knew the quote was a bit higher then others in the area were charging but I went by great reviews and a friend had used them as well. They give a decent warranty, which is nice as well. I really love the look of my home as they also helped me choose my colors, because I wanted it a bit richer looking instead of yellow toned. Love it!!

Time to paint the house is pretty much overdue. Requested bids were coming in higher than the budget allowed. A neighborhood home was being painted. We stopped by to see the company name. We called for a bid. The job started two days later. Before power washing the house, all windows, doors, floor of porch and patio were covered and taped. The team worked quickly as possible. Only a couple of times did they need anything, open a garage door so they could tape the concrete before painting. We agree, the house looks beautiful.

George is down to earth and very accommodating, listens very well, provides expert advice and relevant feedback when you try and explain exactly what you want. He has been a pleasure to work with, his crew is very timely and they all pay very close attention to detail. I would hire them and would even wait a month on any project as this is how good the quality of work is. Worth every penny, wife and I were very happy with our first project that we gave them a second project with no hesitation. I contacted McMillan Brothers after I found a leak in my stucco and my house needing to be repainted. Nelson was quick to reply to my message and was very flexible with scheduling a consult. After a fast estimate (and estimate on exterior painting of my parents house) his crew came out the next day and started the job. Everyone was great and did a wonderful job painting, repairing the stucco, and fixing the crack! I am very happy with the results, and definitely will be using the company for future work!

We needed a new roof and the house painted. I reached out to a few companies and Mcmillan was the quickest to respond. They came out and gave an honest opinion on what needed to be done and a competitive quote, so we hired them for both jobs. We needed the roof work completed first. Their crew was prompt, respectful and did great work! They cleaned up their mess when finished. They communicated well with us the entire time. We had to wait on the house painting until our HOA approved the plan. Mcmillan was patient and when we were ready, they came back out. I could not be more satisfied with the experience I had with John and his crew! The estimate process was fast and easy - I called in the morning and John was over later that day. Scheduling was also a breeze - I contacted him Tuesday to schedule and they did the job (full exterior) from start to finish on Friday. If I could give 10 stars I would. These folks are the greatest in terms of price, responsiveness, reliability, friendliness, cleanliness and great workmanship. Charles was my main point of contact and was down to earth and knowledgeable. We started working together earlier this year to get a quote for the roof and exterior house paint. They subcontracted out the roofers but they were courteous and efficient, and finished in a quick few days shortly after we signed the contract with them. They were pretty quiet too, considering they were removing and replacing all of the heavy roof tiles. I work from home and am on calls a lot of the day and I was able to work with minimal disruption. They recommended we wait until the fall to do the paint work because of the weather, and because we were also going to replace our windows (done by a different contractor). So after those were done I reached back out to Charles and he was able to recommend paint colors and get us started right away. Polo and Edgar came out and repaired/prepped/painted and cleaned up in 2 and half days. They were absolutely phenomenal, and quick! We had tons of holes in the stucco from woodpeckers and an area of our patio had water damage, which they fixed and replaced. They moved the rocks away from the house and wall to get all the way to the bottom and did a truly fantastic and clean job. Thank you so much for the great work! I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

We contacted McMillan Brothers for an exterior house painting quote. George called back and was out to see the house the next day with a very competitive quote. (We live in Las Sendas in Mesa and had received quotes from other places neighbors had recommended ). He was able to start the work the next week. Edgar and his crew were so careful and precise. They covered and protected everything and fixed every crack in the stucco. He always checked with us to make sure we were happy, was easy to talk to and helped me with all questions. I highly recommend McMillan Brothers. While looking for roofers we saw their quality work in the neighborhood, and spoke to the homeowners.

John came to our home, did a thorough inspection of the exterior, gave us a quote and within 5 days our entire exterior was painted perfectly. The team was efficient, and the paint job meticulous, including powerwashing and prepping before, stucco repair, and all chipped paint was removed prior to them painting. 2 coats of paint. They took everything off exterior walls AND put it back up again after the job was complete. Everything was so clean after they were done.

I have been waiting to write this review for a couple weeks and am so excited to finally get a chance to do so.

Looking for a painting company is no easy task. There are so many painting companies in the valley that it will make your head spin. Guess what they all have in common? They all promise great things but likely hardly deliver on those promises.

Macmillan Brothers was the third company I called for a quote to get some roof repair done as well as get the entire exterior of my home painted. What appealed to me about McMillan brothers is that they did both ... roof repair and painting. Kill two birds with one stone.

Jim came out and gave me an honest and fair quote. He was personable. Honest and easy to talk to. He explained the whole process to me and was honest about the paint color selections. He even offered to have pint samples to see if I liked the color I chose.

Jim kept in touch with me throughout the entire process and assured me the work would be top notch. And it was.

Jim's crew got the repairs done and the exterior painted.

Here is where the real customer service comes in..... I chose the paint scheme and once it was completed I absolutely hated it, it looked to have blue tones and just wasn't something I envisioned. Jim advised me to give it a week or so and let the paint settle. He advised that after making a drastic change like that he would hate for me to make a rash decision and change it. This was because I was ready to pay again to redo it into a diff color.

Jim advised that he will stay in touch and if after a week or so I still did not like the paint he would come back and we can talk about redoing it.

Nonetheless the paint was fine and it grew on me pretty quickly. And now I love it.

The crew cleaned up after themselves and came back to compete any necessary touch ups. This would likely be the only drawback to getting your house painted.. you get some overspray in places you really didn't want.

Great job by a great company. Jim will now be on my speed dial.

I actually found these guys by accident. A stucco guy named McMillan was canvassing the neighborhood. We needed stucco, so I took his card and then looked him up. That's how I found McMillan Brothers. They are in no way related to the first guy I met, they just happen to have the same name.

I got a bid for the first McMillan guy, and then I called *McMillan Brothers* based on ratings and the RoC license search. Their bid was a lot higher (by about 50%), but they were also more detailed in what they would do for me, and how they would do it. The first guy almost seemed like he was offering too much for the price he was going to charge. I didn't get a bad feeling from him, just that he kept saying yeah, I'll add that at no charge to almost everything we requested. I didn't see how he could do a quality job and still make a profit like that.

So we accepted the McMillan Brothers' bid.

Not cheap, but Edgar was very thorough and did great work patching stucco and making sure it was right. There were a lot of fine cracks, and some bigger ones, and a couple of spots it had flaked-off, and they did them all. Our home looked like a zebra for a couple of days while they did the patching.

They spent almost three days taping and patching before they applied a drop of paint. Then they use premium paint to finish the job. They both sprayed and back-rolled, effectively two coats, to assure a solid coating. This took another two days. And our house isn't THAT big, they were just careful and thorough.

After they stripped all the tape we did a walk-around. They fixed a couple of minor things (like a small leaf had blown onto the wet paint and dried there...they removed it and touched it up so I can't even see it). They warranty the work for 10 years. It's amazing how much brighter our home looks now; like brand-new.

Yes, if we need more painting I'll probably call these guys. I'm willing to pay a bit more if the job is done right.

*Update: we had an extra line item in our estimate (painting the back fence). I didn't realize it, but they actually went ahead and did it even though I remember saying we'll skip it for now. Honest misunderstanding, but they did do the work, expending time and materials. I was impressed how George (one of the owners) handled it. Instead of pointing fingers, George and I worked out something that was fair to both of us. So add good customer service to the list of positive attributes of this company.

What can I say....? McMillan Bros. did a fantastic job painting our home exterior. We got three bids to paint our house and while each contactor was pleasant there was just something about George that clicked with us, it was like talking to a friend. The prep work that George described that would be done prior to painting was more involved than what other contractors explained, and prep work is everything.

George was also helpful in our color scheme decision. My husband liked one, while I liked another. And, if you've ever tried to decide on paint using the small paint chips available at paint stores, you know that they're not very helpful. George suggested that we purchase small wall sample boards. They're 12x12 adhesive backed sample boards that you can paint. Seeing the paint samples on a larger area was quite helpful. Still, my husband and I differed on the color scheme. So, to aid in our decision I phoned George. He asked us to place the sample boards on our home exterior and to then text him pictures. George explained how each color would wear in the Arizona weather as well as telling us how the colors would look with the roof and landscape. And voila!, a decision was made. By the way, the color scheme I chose was the winner! Lol.

From beginning to end everything was done professionally. The crew was courteous and cleanly. Our complete trust in George was founded. He stayed in contact with us, showed up on time and performed the work beautifully as promised. We couldn't be happier with the results. McMillan Bros. will be our go to for any painting needs. They should be yours too.

I recently had Charles and team take on a few projects for my 20 year old home, and couldn't be happier. Our roof work came first, and I was holding my breath. I was glad to find out that our only required some repair rather than a more costly (and for the contractor, profitable) replacement. The work was done quickly and professionally, saving me over $12k if I had needed a replacement. Given the great job done, I got a quote on painting the house. In doing so, Charles identified a door that needed replacing due to a shoddy installation in the original build, recommended a guy who did a great job. As for the painting, the crew was excellent, taking plenty of time in the prep and erasing 20 years of AZ. Sun wear, damage to Stucco, etc. The painting was well done, the crew was quick to address my very minor concerns, and the entire project was done in for days for a great value. I hope not to need to call them again, but I'd highly recommend them to anyone!

I had an issue with rotting fascia board along the roof line over my garage. I contacted McMillan Brothers via yelp and was contacted right away. George came out shortly after the initial contact and I explained the issue and the history. He gave me a very competitive quote, and even encouraged me to seek out other quotes. I decided to go with McMillan based on the reviews and the conversation with George, who I thought did a great job of providing options. They were able to get me in a lot sooner than I thought, the following week. Once the work was underway it was apparent that the damage beyond extended fascia board. George came out and discussed my options as this newly discovered issue was out of the scope of the original quote. He gave me another quote for the additional work and it was very reasonable. A lesser company could have taken advantage of the situation. It's experiences like this that builds trust. The fascia boards and the roof in these areas are fixed and painted...another advantage of hiring a team that specializes in both services. The team members were professional and left the area clean.

After getting 5 different bids I decided on Jack & his team to repaint my primary home and also a rental property.

McMillan Bros was in the middle range as far as pricing goes. Most people seem to use either Dunn Edwards or Sherwin Williams paints, these guys were no different. Jack walked me through all my options and at the end of the day, I went with them because of his fair & transparent pricing and no BS approach. I didn't feel like he was just trying to make a sell or talking down to me, very relatable guy.

The painting was delayed a few days due to some rain but once started both homes were done within a week and I couldn't be happier. Did both entire homes (exterior) and repainting block walls on both homes (inside & out). Rental home is a corner lot so a lot of wall.

The workers were very efficient and professional, cleaning up behind themselves and always polite. They were also careful not that disturb the tenants in the rental home as well.

In short, Jack & McMillan Bros did a great job. They did great work in a timely manner, at a fair price. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to get their home painted.

I dealt with Nelson four years ago to have my house painted by his company. They did an excellent job! I also had the inside of the backyard block fence painted by them. It too, looked great! Sadly, paint has flaked off the bottom course of blocks (due to neighbors watering, I think) which gives a scruffy look. I called Nelson, who came by a couple days later. He surveyed the walls and said even though their warranty was for only 2 years, he would have his guys come out and repaint for me - at NO CHARGE!!! They just finished the job and it looks SO much better. THANK YOU, Nelson, for really standing behind your work! I heartily endorse McMillan Brothers Painting and will use them again when the house needs it!

In 2015 (abt 7 years ago), McMillan Brothers painted the exterior of our house. The home is two story with 4141 sqft. It has 2 garages and several other small structures.
After agreeing on a price and date with James McMillan, the house was painted very efficiently. The price was very reasonable, the painting workmanship was quite professional and the quality of paint was excellent.
James McMillan came by today to see if I wanted the house re-painted. Ironically, I had to tell him it didn't need it and won't for a few more years, because they had done such a good job last time.

George was excellent and stayed in constant communication from our first meeting until our project was completed. He answered every question and provided an experienced opinion on every choice we made. He talked us through every type of paint and how it would work for our home. He was extremely knowledgeable and knew how each paint color would appear and ultimately age in the severe Arizona sun. For example, one color we were considering would ultimately appear golden or yellowish in the sun, which we did not want. Other painters we met with took the you tell us the colors and we'll paint it approach. Some may prefer this, but we appreciated the insight and attention to detail. Samples don't always show the whole picture, even when you paint it directly on the home in a small area. Our painter did a phenomenal job and everything was power-washed, taped, prepped, repaired (stucco/wood) and painted perfectly. The total job took under 3 days. George was available via text or phone call the entire time, even when we had questions about a particular paint color or process on the weekend. We're now planning some interior painting and can't wait to work with them again.

McMillian Brothers did a great job on our home - a 2-story stucco house that had gone without paint for over a decade. Jimmy and his crew were responsive, courteous, and the work was very high quality. They repaired old drywall on our patio roof that was coming apart after many years, and even though our garage door was backordered for two months, once it showed up they were here within 2 days to get it painted to match the rest of the home. We just had our exterior painted by McMillan Brothers, and if I could give more than 5 Stars, I would!

Jim showed up on-time for the free estimate, was very friendly and professional, explained the process, and educated us on the different paint options. We are limited by our HOA colors, but that was no issue for them! They ordered the exact paint colors we needed, and started the job the same week!

The entire crew was so friendly, and so diligent! The crew, led by Oscar, did a fantastic job taping and covering while being respectful and careful with our property. John came out to help during the painting and to check the progress of the crew. He did an excellent job taking us around the property to make sure we were happy with the paint, and he made it clear that they are just as interested in our paint job as we are! They repaired our patio ceiling and did an excellent job matching the texturing! They also repaired any cosmetic concrete cracks or stucco cracks, and our house looks incredible! We WILL be asking them to paint the interior next!

We noticed a leak in our ceiling. Knowing the the roof had never been replaced, we requested a quote from McMillan Brothers through Yelp. Charles responded to the request and we decided to go with Charles for several reasons. McMillan Brothers is a local company that has been around for a long time and was able to match any tiles that needed to be replaced. Charles was also flexible on whether to address the leak immediately and the rest of the roof later or everything all at once at no extra cost. And Charles gave us straight answers to our questions. James McMillan and his team did a great job painting our home. They were competitively priced and were able to restore our sun damaged fascia and other wood. He was knowledgeable and full of advice guidance about the painting process and he made sure to follow up for those inevitable painting touch-ups. The McMillan team is unbelievably good. We found each other accidentally, but the transaction and job was done perfectly! We had them paint our home just a little over 5 years ago. They did many homes in our neighborhood and did a great job on all of them. Since having the home painted we have had some touch ups needed here and there and James was always quick to reply and take care of our needs. Recently we had our front door replaced and were in need of some paint which we were out of. I could not remember the paint color so I called James and he came out to the house took a vent off of the house to get the paint matched and dropped off 2 gallons of paint for us (no charge)! Who does that these days? Obviously we were not expecting that and would have been fine with paying for the paint but clearly the customer service level is off the charts. They will be our painters for life and I will refer everyone I know to them if asked. They have earned at least that much from me! I could not give them a higher recommendation! If you need something painted- call them!

We hired McMillan painters to paint the exterior of our house and the whole perimeter wall, ramada, pool deck and then some more window frames to match new windows we had installed. I met with John Mc Millan and we began a great relationship - I could always reach him to discuss scheduling and new ideas. They also commissioned the smoothing/resurfacing of stucco on our patio so it looks like a magazine now! Everything they did was awesome and it all turned out amazing - the guys worked very fast and made no mistakes. I requested a paint estimate for our house in Chandler. Jack responded right away & came out to our house. He was very professional, gave us different options & a very fair quote. I had spoken to my neighbor who received 3 quotes but never with McMillan Brothers & he was sorry he did go with them. Truly an awesome experience. I sent a request and they immediately responded, came to my house and got me a quote that day. I had done a lot of shopping, truthfully too much shopping for a house painter. I also needed some roof repairs. They offered to do both and as soon as the house painting was done, they got to the roof repairs. If you're like me, the thought of getting your house painted seems like an enormous hassle. I had put it off for YEARS. Had a few different estimates from different places but George was the only one who was actually engaged in the discussion and makes you feel like you're going into this thing together. The others were just robotic and trying to get your business. I could not be more pleased with the process and the finished product. From George helping me pick the colors, to his availability throughout, to the team who did the work. Edgar as the team lead was phenomenal. It took 3 days overall and they cleaned everything so well when they left and you couldn't tell anyone was ever there. The final product on the house is more than I was expecting and I could not recommend this company more. So glad I decided to pull the trigger with them.

Jim came out to look at my roof after a big storm had rolled through. He was very knowledgeable and provided me with great information on things to look out for. While there was no damage as I initially thought, Jim provided me with some great roof maintenance tips. He also explained to me what he found and what had been done previously with repairs. Caveat Emptor!!
MC Millan Bros frequently show up in our neighborhood and offer house painting and roof repairs.
We made a big mistake by not acquire competitive bids and find now out that they we were way overcharged by as much as 100 % over other Offers,
In addition when they did our living room interior painting they we now find out that they used Exterior Paint which is cheaper and not appropriate.
When they issue a quote you will not find a proper letterhead disclosing their Business address
We do not recommend to use their services!!

I have 2700 sq ft home that had renters in it... I had one week between tenants and found out that I'd need the ENTIRE interior repainted exactly 6 days before new tenants... I called on a holiday no less and within 20 minutes Jim was in touch and offered to come by same day. He was by to give me a free estimate within the hour and was very thorough and explained everything to me. Jim had guys out the next morning and helped me pick the perfect color, they had the doors, trim, and entire interior done in 72 hours. They were so thorough with the prep work I don't even know if they had any touch ups after the job. They left my house in perfect condition and made it look new again. I don't think I can say enough good things about McMillan Brothers and I can't wait to work with them again.

We were in need of an exterior paint job on our house which is a fairly good sized two story. We met with Nelson who quoted what we felt to be a fair price. Time estimate for the job was three days, they managed to get it completed in two. This included pressure washing the exterior, scraping the foundation, applying sealant and caulk where needed, masking and taping off of all surfaces that needed to be protected, and shooting a two-tone paint scheme using Dunn Edwards paint. Nelson also made sure the one side of our block wall that faces out to the street was painted to match the primary color of the house.

Workers showed up on time when promised and were very conscientious. The only hiccup, if you can call it that, was two ceiling mounted patio light fixtures that got dislodged during the pressure washing phase of the operation. After the job was done, Nelson dispatched a crew with a promise that if they could not properly remount the lights, he would buy us new fixtures and have his guys install them. Fortunately, that wasn't necessary as his crew was able to re-anchor the lights to the underside of the patio roof and had everything looking just the way it should.

Although we could have gone with a different company and saved some money we went with McMillan because of their excellent online reviews and the fact that they are a larger, well established, licensed and bonded family owned company (three generations of painters).

Although smaller independent companies can do good work, many of them often fly without insurance and are usually nowhere to be found if there are problems that need to be addressed after the job is done.

The reputation of McMillan and Son's gave us full confidence the job would be done right, and that if there were any post-project issues they would be promptly addressed.

Found this company through yelp, and contacted them, due to there high ratings. My whole roof needed replacing, and was well overdue. Charles educated us on different paint qualities, explained in detail what the job would entail, and both he and George helped us with our color choice. I fully recommend McMillan Brothers for painting your house! After finding them on Yelp, Charles contacted me and was out really quickly. The price was very fair compared to other contractors, however, his detailed description of the scope of work and quality of paint got me to go with them.

Within a few weeks, Cesar and his crew were out. They were very efficient and meticulous with regard to prep work, painting, and putting things back in place.

In the end, I lost a few screws for a window screen, but that wasn't a big deal. Also, the crew smoked a bit, so with doors open and whatnot, I could smell it inside, but with the quality and price of the work, I'm not going to take away a star or anything and I'll definitely look up the McMillan brothers for future painting jobs.

McMiilan Brothers Painting did everything right. They responded to my request for quote on line and did an in person inspection of the work and provided a quote same day. The quote was more than fair but not the cheapest quote. I felt based on conversation I could trust them and I was right. I had major damage in garage from previous homeowner that required a 4'by 5' drywall repair. Today after the work is completed I can't find where the damage had been. The drywall man repaired multiple ceiling cracks some the length of a three car garage. I had two rooms painted in addition to all three bays of the garage. The workers had great attitudes, showed up on time and completed the job in schedule. I am 100% satisfied with their work and the price I paid. I will use them for all future painting and roofing needs.

This company treated us amazingly. They are obviously professional and ethical. Last week I noticed a small water stain on our kitchen ceiling in a 1 story house. I called Mcmillan's and they responded in 1 day to give an estimate and see where the leak was coming from. Upon checking the roof they found a minor issue which was easily repaired. Absolute integrity! In escrow selling my dad's house in Chandler when the condition of the roof was questioned by the seller. Our realtor had his friend, a roofer, check it out. He told us it would cost up to $5K to repair. Moreover, he said that he saw damage to the underlayment which could even mean the entire roof was shot and would need replacing for much more.

Unfortunately, dad's memory is not so good - he'd had the entire roof redone about 10 years prior but he couldn't recall the company. However, he was adamant that he had paid extra for a special polymer layer that his roofer said would never leak.

I called McMillan Brothers and simply asked them to check out the roof and let me know their opinion of what was wrong and how much it would cost to repair. I didn't tell them any of the details except that we were in escrow. Jack went over to inspect it that same day and called me. He said the roof could use maintenance - adjusting tiles, cleaning valley of debris, fixing mortar, etc. but appeared ok. When I asked about the underlayment, he told me that the installed material was almost overkill. That's when I knew I was dealing with an honest company.

Honest and fair dealing - words that are far too rare for describing contractors but absolutely apply to McMillan Brothers.

I really wish that I could give more stars for this great company. 5 doesn't even begin to say how happy we are. McMillan Brothers are by far the best company of all time. We thought originally we needed a whole new roof but Charles let us know our roof was in good shape and needed a little TLC in places on the garage side. Then we met George (the paint). Beyond beautiful job for a very reasonable price. We really didn't think there were companies like McMillan Brothers left in Arizona. You will be VERY happy if you choose them. You will never go anywhere else for your roofing and painting needs.

I'm thrilled with the work that they did on the (entire) interior of our home. From the start they were responsive, consultative, thoughtful, and careful. They showed up immediately and gave a very detailed estimate - much more complete and thorough than their competitors, which gave me confidence. They also gave us some great advice in a couple of areas where we weren't sure how we wanted to proceed, and they took the time to explain the work they were doing and why they were using specific (premium) paints. The job itself was very quick, but not by sacrificing quality. After they left, my wife and I marveled at the attention to detail, and we were very hard-pressed to find a single spot where the work wasn't perfect. They cleaned up everything very quickly, and left the house looking spotless.

While it wasn't the cheapest quote I obtained, I am very sure that we made the right choice. I will certainly call the McMillan Brothers again when we are ready to paint the exterior, and I will recommend them to everyone I know who is in the market for a quality painter.

Just had our block wall power washed, new stucco, and repainted. Absolutely EXCELLENT work. Jim was my contact. Was on time, efficient, and performed the work in the exact way he described. Even let his crew stay late while I replaced a wooden gate and then completed their painting work. Could not recommend them any higher. If there were ten stars, I would give them all ten.

My house hasn't been painted for 18 years. I knew that it would need some trim repaired, stucco patched, and of course a good cleaning. It is a two story. After talking to George, he told me exactly what they were going to do and that told me to try them out. They did a fantastic job. I can definitely recommend them as they prep it correctly, covered everything so that nothing was splashed with paint, and then painted it beautifully. It looks like a new house now.

We needed the exterior of our home painted. It was painted 12 years ago and was quite faded, needed power washing, and some repairs to the stucco. Mr. Jim McMillan's company was painting several homes in our neighborhood. We discussed a price and signed a contract.

The night before they were scheduled to come, Jim called to confirm our date and time. His crew showed up on time. They power washed the house, did the repairs and started to prep for the paint.

The crew were polite, professional and very respectful. The second day they arrived on time and by 3:30PM they were done. The house looks wonderful. They protected all the sidewalks, patio etc. I have not found one drop of spilled paint. It is amazing. I will be contacting them to do my interior this summer. In the two days that they were here, Jim showed up several times. He checked how they were doing and wanted to make sure we were pleased.

I verified their contractors license, their bond and insurance.

Our house's interior walls are smooth and not textured, so we needed someone that would pay attention to the detail and make sure it looked perfect. George came over and noticed right away the amount of attention to detail our house would need. He said that we wouldn't be disappointed and he was correct. When the painter, Memo came in he worked tirelessly taping every little thing. His lines were perfect. The paint job was going great and then I realized I hated the color. It was my mistake and George reassured me that it was okay. He said that they would work with us and not to worry. He put my anxiety at ease. He came over the next day and worked with us on a more than fair price and a strategy on how we were going to move forward. He showed great customer service. Memo (the painter) was also great about it. He understood and this setback did not change the attention to detail he continue to provide. Overall our house looks great. The cleanup, attention to detail, and professionalism is hands down number one. We have done a lot of remodeling and have experienced less than average workmanship in the past. McMillan Brothers painters are in a league above all others. If you want a job done right. You will be smart to hire this company. Other construction/remodel companies should take note, these guys know how to do business!! We are already looking for new areas to get painted. Thank you for treating our house like it's one of your own. We will be back. There is NO DOUBT.

Great and fast work! They came out and repaired our patio roof and then painted our two story house all within 3 days. They are very friendly to work with. They always answer their phone or call you right back. They left the extra paint in case we need any future touch ups. The couple who did the actual labor were two of the hardest working people I've seen. My only slight criticism was the communication of getting the actual start date of the job. (FYI, when they say they are coming out to power wash...this means they are starting the entire job that day.) I definitely recommend them!

These guys did a great job. Very reasonable. Power washed the house on a Friday morning, came back in the afternoon to protect and painted all day Saturday. They came back on Monday to finish the details, paint the patio ceiling white and remove the protection. Guys were polite and John was very professional. I highly recommend their work.

We needed the exterior of the house (single story ranch style) painted. We obtained quotes from severl painting companies, including McMillan Brothers of Chandler, AZ.
George (one of the brothers) came out to look over the house and give a quote. George is a nice guy, and likes to talk :) He came across a bit like a used car salesman which raised a warning flag to me, starting with a this job should run about $xxxx, but I'm going to give you a good deal because you're the first in the neighborhood. (We were the first in the development to be painting the house exterior, and the HOA had already mailed notices to all owners that they needed to paint.) The actual quote came in in the lower middle of the pack. Not the cheapest, but definitely not the most expensive. The amount was in line with what I was expecting. The statement of work included the proper paint, power washing, prep and stucco repair, etc. This was in line with the other companies' quotes. We researched McMillan Brothers, finding their license and bond was in order, their BBB record clean, and the reviews were pretty uniquely all positive.
We informed George that we would go with McMillan Brothers in just a few days. The next day George came and picked up the signed contract. (No down payment was required!) Within a few days of that, the crew showed up to do the work. They masked everything, including the sidewalks and driveway and patio. Did the washing, prep and repairs (very minor as the stucco was in general in excellent condition.) By the end of the day, the job was done (about 9 hours or so.) The house looked GREAT with no spilled paint anywhere. There were a couple of very minor touch-ups we requested (and we do mean MINOR) that were done in 2 minutes.
We couldn't be happier with the work and the price was on the mark.
Look past some of the sales talk that may occur, and go with McMillan Brothers. You won't regret it.
(BTW, ignore the Seattle location - we moved to AZ, hence the house painted is in the West Valley area of Phoenix metro)

I would definitely recommend McMillan Brothers Painting Company. From my initial contact with Charles through the painting experience with Oscar, the whole experience was a good one. Charles came to give me an estimate the day I spoke with him and gave me a great price (which I learned by getting estimates from other companies). He was also empathetic and patient when I had a hard time deciding on a color to paint my cabinets. Soon after we agreed what was to be done, the painting began. In addition to the painting of the cabinets, I had the siding on my house power washed and the exterior block of my house and my gate painted. Oscar, the person who did the painting, was friendly, dependable, competent and courteous. He arrived when he said he would, worked hard, did a good job and cleaned up after himself when he was finished. The whole painting project was completed in three days and I am very satisfied with the work that McMillan Brothers did for me!
