K&K was quick to reply and had the most reasonable price. Our units are on their last leg and the technician was able to service them and bring to our attention that the thermostat was causing an issue.

By the time our technician (Jelani) was done he  had our unit blowing cold air. We look forward to using them in the future for servicing.

Danny C got back to me and scheduled my appt. right on time. Tech Jelani was thorough and had the parts on hand, did the repairs and was fair and provided pictures of worn parts and service completed. We were satisfied with the courteous service and good work! Our air conditioner was 22 years old. We got several bids for a Trane Air&  Heating unit.  K&K was the best bid for an identical model.  They installed quickly, neatly and professionally.  We decided to upgrade later to a WIFI thermostat and they came out and installed it for us. We were more than happy with the service and work they did, and we liked working with a family owned company and recommend them highly!

K&K answered our Yelp inquiry within 20-mins, and scheduled an appointment the same day.

I'm looking to replace a 5 ton split and was contacted by K&K, they set up a day and time to swing by for an estimate, but they were running late and never called. So I texted their contact to cancel.

Sorry folks, but being late for a scheduled appointment and a no call/no show in our industry is a dealbreaker. If you can't be on time, how dependable will you be with the demolition of the existing system, getting the new equipment, ductwork, piping, t-stat, and insulation to the job in a timely manner; then installing it, charging the lines, doing start-up, and commissioning the new system after a blow-down?

I put 25 years working in the Sheet Metal trade here in Arizona--17 of those years as a Foreman on large commercial and industrial projects before I got into estimating Mechanical systems. So here's a tip guys: In my trade and current profession, if you're on time, you're late.

My 16 year old air conditioner had finally went out and me and my husband were quickly trying to find someone to come out because the next few weeks were going to be hot.  We also were trying to find an honest company and someone that wasn't going to overcharge. Buying a new AC is a big purchase that so many Arizonans have to face eventually. So glad I found K&K. They came out the same day I needed my AC looked at. Danny, Jelani and the other techs were awesome. They finished installing both units a day before expected. They were way more affordable than other places.  I will be using and recommending them in the future.

This company provided a low cost quote which was lower than many competitors. When I started to ask more questions about permitting and project details, Danny totally ghosted me. I wasted over a week hoping to get a response so I could hire him for a project but had to find someone else since he never responded.

Danny is the man! Gave me an honest evaluation of my leaking water heater and came back in a few days to replace it with a new one he was kind enough to pick up for me at Lowes. The final bill was the same as the original estimate and he was happy to stick around and answer any questions I had. He even took the time to walk me through the differences between tank and tankless systems.

I had my air conditioning go out and they came the same day and service my air conditioning unit. Got me back up and running in about 35 minutes. Yeah the crew was honest respectful knowledge follow up what they were doing and charge me a reasonable rate to get my air conditioning running again. I strongly recommend that you use this instead of one of the big billboard companies out there.

Danny showed up on time to inspect our system and gave us a couple of options on how he could help us.   I was worried that it was going to take a few days for him to put in the system.  He was here the next morning with the unit and it was installed and we had air before the morning was over.

I am so very pleased with his service and commitment to making sure we had air.  From his initial visit to complete repair was less than 24 hours.

Danny the owner from K&K Heating and Cooling took care of me, I needed a new 4 ton heat pump 14 SEER system installed, he unlike, a few of the others who bid on my job, didn't try to upsell me anything I didn't need. (it was amazing what some of the sales people told me I needed extra, which would have added $2000-5000 to the price).
He was fair and reasonable on the price. He even checked out and serviced my other AC system to make sure it was cooling like it should, at no extra charge.
I had another company who wanted $1,500 more than K&K for the same system, but with an enhanced compressor, not more efficient but enhanced. LOL

second experience with KK.  First was the purchase and install of two Trane units - went great!  Latest experience was an emergency rerouting of condensate line which we were really gouged.  main tech put in about 2 1/2 hours and the boss, about one.  Add 20 or so feet of PVC and the charge was $700. Will not go back

We just bought this home and even a home warranty; however, when the AC went out and it was 100 degrees the warranty company expected us to wait for several days and every place I called to get service either didn't answer the phone or had a full voicemail box so I couldn't even leave a message!  Frustrated and overheated, I called K&K who agreed to come out in just a couple of hours, even though he was currently on the other side of the valley.  He arrived with a smile, despite what must be a grueling job this time of year, and discovered the problem within just a few minutes.  After two days of suffering, he found and switched out a dead solar battery in about 15 minutes and had my home feeling chilly before he left.  The price was fair, he was very pleasant and made sure to explain everything, along with pictures of what he was doing/did.  I will definitely call them for any future HVAC needs!  Thank You!

Our AC unit was not cooling and the motor in the unit was making a loud grinding sound. I searched a request for some quotes and Danny from K&K promptly responded, and was able to come out within an immediate time frame and arrived within an hour of the request. Very communicative, with request and gave a courtesy call before arrival. They ran diagnostics and found the motor needed to be replaced, which was fairly priced and had on hand to fix. Danny and Julian were quick and efficient with their work. Would highly recommend, very happy the house is comfortably in cool mode again.

Right now I'm giving them a 4 star rating but will come back later. Reached out to them and a few other places for a quote on a mini split being installed. They beat everyone's quote by quite a bit and the installers were here on time and had everything done within a few hours. Installers were friendly and kept good communication on the status of the install. They wrapped up and headed off after confirming it was all working great. I waited for the first rain to make sure there were no leaks before writing this. all out. So overall pretty happy with it. Why the missing star? While they did a good job of cleaning up a few metal shaving and sheet screws were left on the floor and I did step on one. Honest mistake and I can't expect them to find every little thing but still sucked. Overall I would recommend them and have to a co-worker looking for a similar install.

Danny and his guys have been great. Were having trouble with the ac equipment but they have been helpful getting it sorted out so far.

Our 3.5 ton builder-grade Carrier unit crapped out. I called around and talked to several companies. The differences in quotes was staggering. To say that most of them overcharge would be an understatement. Many of them are putting in lower quality units as well.

Fast forward to Danny at K&K. He uses Trane, which is like the Toyota of heating and cooling, meaning, it lasts a really long time. He was direct, great at communicating, and did exactly what he said he would. We liked his work and pricing so much that we ended up replacing our 5 ton unit with him as well.

Had issue with one of our air conditioners. Called K&K who responded quickly. Came out to troubleshoot and found out it was cheaper to replace the old unit. The next day the new unit was here and installed. Gave us a bid for an additional new unit with installation in a different building. That was also installed the very next day with duct work.

This was my first time using k&k and I'll be calling them when I need HVAC maintenance again. All the other companies were slammed because we're in the middle of summer but they were able to squeeze me in! THANK YOU! They replaced a fuse and installed a smart thermostat. I've had issues with other companies installing a smart stat before but they had no problems and were reasonable in price. Happy I was able to find a new go-to HVAC company!

We purchased 3 nest thermostats but haven't had the time to get them installed. I emailed K&K Heating and Air and they got back to me immediately and had availability to come over the same day to install them. Danny and Josh were prompt, professional, and extremely courteous. They got all 3 installed in about an hour, connected them to our WiFi, and tested that everything was working before they left. Thanks for the great service - will definitely use again! Installed a new 5 tons Trane unit in a rental house in Chandler.  Really professional and reasonable.  Will use again for my other rentals.

Dan came out right away when our AC went out. Other businesses told us that they could get us an appointment two weeks out...knowing our AC was out.

Dan not only fit us in but it turned out to be a bigger problem than just changing the capacitor and he was happy to help find and fix the problem which included going up to our attic in 100° day.

EXTREMELY disappointed with this business. They started a job back in August and never returned to fix it. I've called over 6 times in the last several months, texted and left VM to no avail. Please go somewhere that finishes a job and returns your calls.

I had a brand new AC system installed 10 months ago. All of a sudden, it stopped cooling and the house was 87°. I keep it at 77°. The company that installed the unit wanted $950 to do a major coil repair, so I got other quotes and needed it done ASAP. I spoke with Danny, who quoted me $650 was able to come the very next day! Not only was he early (notified), but he and his awesome assistant finished in half the time! Danny  has amazing customer service, response time, prices and work ethic. For an unexpected situation that we all dread - like a nonworking AC in 100° AZ heat - Danny made this a great experience. I will definitely call him again in the future for my AC needs. I have already been spreading his name....

Referred by a friend, I called and Pedro answered very quickly.  Very polite, helpful  and quick. My unit was old and required special parts. When the unit was returned to working order but not quite how it was before due to the parts I ordered they gave me a full refund. I will definitely  be calling again when I am able to replace my entire Unit.

Our AC stopped blowing cold air at 10pm. I sent out a quote and Danny was very responsive saying he could be here at 6:30am. He had the part on hand and had our A/C blowing cold air within minutes. Very happy with this service!

If I could give 10 stars, I would!! The A/C at my rental property quit working and so I reached out to K&K, along with four other companies. Danny was the first to respond, and was able to go out to property for quote within hours of me reaching out. He also went out of his way to install new A/C the next day, accommodating my tenant who had been without air for days. Great communication, on time for install, and over very customer focused. Finally, since money does matter to all of us, he came in with the lowest quote ($500-3000 less than some other A/C guys quoted). I would definitely recommend using K&K....

I'm only sorry that i cannot give Danny and his helper a 10 star rating! As a first time customer, i called at almost 10 pm Saturday hoping to leave a message, when the phone was answered. BIG surprise! At 90 in my house i was quite desperate to get the AC fixed. He showed up sunday (without a hefty extra fee). It took more time to set up the ladder then to figure out the fix. Danny set me up with a temp fix that didnt have us broiling overnight, then came back today (Monday), took another 6 mins to replace the part. The best part, was it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. This is one very satisfied customer!

They were quick in diagnosing and finding a solution for our vent issue. At first I was hesitant because the vent they used to replace my old vent looks the same, but they assured me that the change will make a difference in the room temp. Sure enough, within a few hours the room was at least 5 degrees cooler than before. Thank you!

Our A/C started blowing warm air last night.  We got online and put out the call for quotes and availability.  Danny of K&K got back to us within 5 minutes and put us on the books for first thing in the morning.  The techs were prompt and professional, told me what they were doing, and found that the capacitor was completely dead.  They were able to get us swapped and back up in short order.  They checked everything else including coolant and vent temperatures.  They adjusted some vents and cleaned my coils all for a reasonable price.  We will definitely keep them on speed dial for any future needs.

Had a my heater go out last week. Called up another place to get an estimate; that other company was quoting me an insane amount to replace a blower motor (about 2x what it should normally cost). In addition, he tried to sell me on getting a whole new system at an even more ridiculous marked up price. I did some research and knew around what motor replacement should cost, so we tried a few places but no one was willing to give us a comparable quote without an estimate (which they always charge anywhere from 40-90 dollars additional). My wife found Danny on yelp, and he was the only one willing to give us a quote over the phone for the repair we needed to have done, and it was in line with what we expected it to be.

He was able to make room the next day for us and gave us a pretty good quote for the repair work. He gave us a better explanation of the type of repair work we needed along with providing us with before and after pics of the repair work as well as the parts he added and replaced. (which was better than the estimate from the other place that i paid for). He did some complementary work such as cleaning the heating coils for us too.

All said, great service and would definitely recommend him. My experience with some other HVAC places has been really spotty, and some places will really try to price gouge you if you don't know what things normally cost. Finding someone trustworthy is important, and make sure you always do some research online of what the type of repair work you need costs, to see if the company you going with is honest.

Hands down the best service ever!! I have a Esthetics business located inside A-Z Chiropractic in midtown Sacramento and our heater went out at the worst possible time! We have many older clients/patients and our older brick building was SO cold and uncomfortable for the type of business so we needed it fixed fast!
We initially made a appointment with a company that couldn't make it out for over 5 days, I am  so glad I decided to call Danny instead because he came out quick and had the problem fixed in no time. Awesome service Highly recommend!!

We purchased our home two years ago, and earlier today discovered a small water leak in a bedroom ceiling.  Apparently our air conditioner had clogged pipes which had led to an ancient and rusted condensation pan filling with water (which isn't supposed to happen, it turns out). Fortunately Danny was able to get out to see us that afternoon. He picked up a new and improved pan for us, blew out the pipes and had everything done in little more than an hour. If we need help with our heater -- or have another problem with our air conditioner -- we'll be calling K&K Heating and Air again.

I got home from work and noticed that my thermostat wasn't on and I did some troubleshooting.  Found that a fuse was out.  I called around and everyone was too busy to stop by.  Danny came over right away and replaced my fuses to get my house warm again.  He noticed that my fan wasn't working correctly and he was able to replace the parts the next day.  I was impressed with his quality of work and his willingness to go the extra mile.  

If you are stuck in the cold and need your furnace fixed right away Danny is the guy.

Called them last year to fix my AC.  He thought he found the leak and recharged my system.  Well, the technician did not find the real leak so this year when I turned on my AC it was blowing hot air.  They came out and inspected the system at no charge.  He found the real leak this time.  But stated he did not have the skills required to fix the leak.  The leak was at a Al and Cu joint.   So will be calling another HVAC company.  He did recharge the system again for free.

My son's A/C died in June.  Danny offered to come out to the house to inspect it the same day.  He then provided a very reasonable quote for a replacement unit.  Fast, excellent customer response.

Had a groupon for a furnace inspection. Made an appointment for 9:30AM, I called at 10 since nobody showed up. Danny apologized and said that he would make some calls to see what happened. I called back at 10:30 and there was still no answer. Their tech Anthony called me later and asked if he could come at 7pm that same day. He was great! He made it up for the confusion with the original appointment. Called before arriving to confirm the appointment, was very courteous and explained everything that he did. Would recommend them for any of your maintenance or installation needs.

So happy I found K&K. After calling a handful of other Heating and Air companies to install an A/C unit I lost all hope. Everywhere I called gave me crazy pricing or not follow through with provide a quote after wasting my time to come to my house so they can checkout the job. I found K&K here on Yelp. Called them and they came out and provided me with a quote on the spot. Price was reasonable and job was professional. Danny was very professional and easy to work with. Don't waste your time looking at others, K&K is the way to go.

This company does not care about customers... or maybe just certain customers.
I bought a $50 Groupon for KK Heating & Air and Danny Cruz came out to look at my system. The Groupon was for a system inspection which should speak for itself but, he only looked at what I thought the problem was; what do I know.
So, he tells me what the problem is and says he'll find the part and get back to me. No written estimate or anything. He never got back to me.
He sure made sure to get that Groupon payment off my phone though.
Don't bother with companies that don't take the utmost care of their paying customers.

P.S
If companies think they are not required to give the same service to Groupon customers as they do, everyday customers, then they shouldn't sell them.  This is not the first time I've been treated like a second class citizen when using a Groupon for a service provider.

Had my entire on roof Package HVAC system replaced and additional ducts installed by Danny and his team (Anthony). This is probably the best HVAC company in Sacramento County. I would recommend them to anyone who is doing some HVAC work and needs a company that is cheaper than the competition, responsible, responsive, honest and just all around hard working individuals. You could probably give these guys a key to your house and go to work, that's how honest they are.

I am sooooo lucky to have found them because it saved me over $4000 dollars going with these guys over any other large organization like HOME DEPOT or BONNIE heating and air.

THE HISTORY:
I had a 25 year old on roof package unit that needed to be replaced because it was leaking water into my attic. Bonnie, Home Depot and Lowes contractors came out and quoted me some outrages prices to replace the system and update some ducts as well as add a new air intake to help air circulate through my home. Luckily, I came across this company and read the reviews so decided to reach out. Danny (The Owner) responded quickly and setup a time to come give me a quote that same day. He showed up on time, ready to go and even gave me his direct cell number and said i can text him with any questions about the quote. A day or two later he built me three different quotes based on my needs and what i explained to him I needed to do VS what i would like to do. I chose to go with the medium option as it was significantly lower than the competitors and we scheduled a time over the next week to have the system replaced (This was important because we only had 2 days of break in the rain).

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE:
In the four days between signing the work estimate and the work suppose to start, I had multiple questions about the unit itself, the other options, and I even found a unit online that was on sale. Each and every time I contacted Danny by text or call, he answered right away. Looked into any sales information and even called the supplier to have them price match what I found online. Honestly, I was probably the most needy customer he has had but I want to make sure I am getting the best option for my money because who doesn't work hard for their money.

THE ACTUAL WORK:
Danny showed up on time with his team (Anthony). They worked nonstop for two days because the rain was starting on saturday and they started Thursday morning. They installed the entire system in record time and made sure everything was cleaned, painted, patched, and to my liking before they left. While they were working I repeatedly felt overly comfortable leaving them at my home with it unlocked and running a few errands. I even bought them some coffee because Hey they saved me a ton of money.

Danny was awesome.  I called another company at first and the work was not done at all.  Its going to be an hellacious week full of triple digit weather. Danny was able to fix the ac and my three little girls are no longer sweating. The other company tried to upswell me by saying the ac unit was lacking freon. Danny was polite and punctual. He diagnosed and fixed the issue without trying to make fraudulent claims. I will continue to use him for all my needs. Excellent company.  I will refer him to all my friends and family

Second time iv called and the owner Gave me the technicians number to contact them and find out where they are, only to find out that the technician wasn't aware of my appointment. Waste of time and effort. I don't know why they have 5 Stars.

My AC was not working and being as new as it is, I had the feeling it was something simple but I couldn't figure out what.  I was afraid of calling a company that would make me spend hundreds of dollars for something I didn't need.  K&K's technician came the same day I called, performed a diagnosis, found the (simple) problem , and charged me only for the visit/diagnosis.  I love working with honest businesses.

Rarely do I leave reviews on Yelp but this company is worth the time it takes to leave feedback. They have great communication and awesome service. Carmen was a pleasure to work with and set me up with an appointment sooner than I expected. The tech Anthony was very professional and even took the time to explain everything that he was going to do step by step. My AC was back up and running way faster than I expected. By the way I called them this afternoon and I'm writing this yelp review the same day. Do the math.

Had the pleasure of meeting Anthony from K&K Heating & Air today and even though it was a short notice, they were able to work with my schedule and squeeze me in their busy day. I've never had the need to write a review for any business before but i just couldn't be more glad that it's for K&K. My mother is 83 years old and had her heating unit go out on her during the coldest time of year. I called a few other company's to please check the unit, when they found out it was an older unit they flat refused to even come out. I came across K&K and figured i'd try one more. I spoke with Danny and he was more than glad to come out, even though it was raining that day, he offered to come out same day. He came and checked out the unit and did his best to try and get heat to the house for my mother, who by the way suffers from crippling arthritis, but was unable to due to units condition. He wrote out an estimate for a replacement unit and asked me to call if we needed his service again. After he left my mother told me that she had a great feeling about this man, as did I. He must have felt something because he called later that night to check on her and again stated that if he could help in any way to please call at any time, day or night. After contacting the insurance company they asked for better wording as to why unit needed replaced and Danny was able to help us out thru the whole insurance process, and also worked us into his schedule to make sure my mother got heat as soon as possible.
