When Steven C. from Day and Night A/C and Plumbing arrived to install my garbage disposal, I immediately felt a positive vibe. Unfortunately, I bought the disposal at Home Depot, and it didn't have a plug-in cord, so Steven had to come back two days later. No problem, and Day and Night did not charge me for his first visit. Yay!
Prior to his arrival, I received texts to confirm details and his ETA. Steven's friendly and polite manner elicited a feeling of trust and confidence, as he demonstrated his expertise. Even though I paid more than I initially thought, it was worth it.

I set up an appointment to have our HVAC serviced and was quoted $59.
On the day of appointment I received a call saying that they had other work that needed to be that was taking longer than expected and would need to reschedule ours, so we rescheduled.
On the day of the appointment the tech only performed a system check and the service would cost $129, or I could purchase a service contract.
Bait and switch!
I was so angry I sent the tech away and told him I would be using a different company moving forward.
After our AC went out, we got a few different quotes from a few different companies. Day & Night was the most expensive of the three businesses that gave us a price, but we decided to go with them because of their professionalism and because we had a few family members use this company and be very happy with the work. This was also the only company of the ones we looked into that offered a Trane unit. The scheduling was easy and the admin at Day & Night walked us through the entire process. We also had a new return added inside our home and it was painless and quick. The reason for the four stars is that after the unit was installed, I walked through our front yard and there were large nails everywhere. The price tag on our new unit and installation was $14.6K. For that price, I would have appreciated the same attention to detail that they demonstrated throughout the rest of the process.
We just had a tune-up done and the technician was professional, took his time, and reminded us of why we chose this company. I recommend Day& Night and hope you have a better experience with the cleanup than we did.

On 1/20/22, my sister called DAY AND NIGHT to get service on her tankless water heater. A service tech(joke) Andrew came out to service the unit.
This must have been one of Andrews first waterless heating tanks calls. It appeared Andrew did not know where the breakers were. Andrew called the office for assistance and eventually found what he thought to be a breaker. Andrew said they did not carry those breakers and he would have to go buy one. When Andrew returned he replaced the breaker, cleaned out some corrosion, and gave my sister (80 years old) an invoice for over $700. Within less than two hours the breaker blew out. We called Day And Night back to advise them of the problem. They said they could replace it for between three and $4000. I was home at that time and asked Andrew how much it would cost to replace the tankless water heater with a 50 gallon water heater tank. Andrea said he would have to get us a quote. A couple days later we received a quote for $1925.00 plus $475.00 installation.
My sister call Lowes to inquire as to the price of a 50 gallon water heater. Lowes would deliver the water heater for under $500.00. I called Day And Night and spoke with Jeff Carmichael. Jeff said he would check into it further and get back with me that day. I have yet to hear back from Jeff Carmichael. You cannot email Day And Night due to the fact they do not have an email address. I assume that reduces the amount of complaints that they get. In looking at Day And Night's reviews, I honestly believe most of those reviews were written by employees. Stay as far away from Day And Night as possible. People like Andrew and Jeff Carmichael do not keep their word nor do I believe they have the experience to be in the business. If you have to make money by taking advantage of 80 year old widows you're a poor excuse of a man. And that fits Jeff Carmichael to a T. Always pay with a credit card. That's the only way you'll get your money back for shotty service.
So happy we finally found a great plumber. Had issues with our system, banging pipes and more. Had other plumbers investigate and could not solve problem. Then we contacted Day and Night Plumbing. From speaking to the friendly office staff to the arrival of Andrew (Andy) all went surprisingly well. Andy immediately discovered the problem, made the repair and left our home immaculate. He even insisted on vacuuming. Andy provided a truly great experience.
The repair charge was very reasonable, as well.
We highly recommend DAY AND NIGHT PLUMBING!

Timothy, the service person that came to my house did a very good job was very nice was very clean cleaned up after his self did a very good job explaining himself and what he was doing and taking pictures of before and after so I didn't have to go on the roof to see what they were doing to make sure they were doing a good job or not. I really appreciated the work that they did. If anybody needs a good air conditioning service, please call them. Thank you.
Great company to work with gave us fair pricing. Good quality installation and follow through . They offer a reasonably priced service plan as well as knowledgeable technicians. I had a problem with my hot water system. There was a misunderstanding.
I contacted Jeff and he got everything straightened out. Thank you Jeff for all your help. I recommend this company that is honest.
Less to do with actual service and more to do with the type of people they hire. If you own this business you should let your employees know that even the way they drive around town represents you. I was just almost rear ended by one of your guys driving aggressively and then he had the nerve to pull up and drive next to me with the window down yelling obscenities at me and trying to intimidate me for the next half mile until I took the first exit because I was afraid of what this guy would do. If I had the time to memorize his license plate before I exited the highway I would be filing a police report right now against that guy. You should be ashamed of your employees if that is the image they put out into the community for your business. I could not care less about value, and if I need any air conditioning maintenance this summer I will be calling you just to let you know that I couldn't care less about the price of your business, your employees have already spoken volumes to how you view your customers/potential customers.

We had Day & Night come out and do our spring maintenance as we have bought the plan when they did plumbing issues in the fall. The tech Greg H. came out and he was very thorough on cleaning our entire HVAC systems (3). He spent hours here and took pictures of all he did, amazing!!! We are extremely impressed with him. Not only did he do a good job but he was extremely polite and very personable. We will request him going forward for any work regarding our heat and air needs. Highly recommend Greg :)
They would not give me an estimate over the phone. I need a valve replaced and they said a technician needed to come out, there is a charge for that, but if I used them for the service, the price of the call would b e deducted. So basically I had to have them come out for a charge to get an estimate. I asked to speak to the manager, she said they would get me an estimate. But they never called back. While listening to their propaganda while on hold, they boost about be3ing family owned. I left a message for the owner, never got a call back.
Run, don't walk from this company. My tankless water heater was not working well after 11 yrs. Day & Night bought the account list from Stampede plumbing. The first thing they did was bash Stampede which was a top notch company. Then they quote me $6,400. to replace my unit. He tells me he can flush my unit for $200. (he said the chemicals cost $150). After he left, I flushed the unit, the chemicals cost $10. A friend of mine who is a licensed plumber, bought the unit & installed it for $1800. total.

Day and Night has been our company since we found them about 8 years ago. They are highly trained, not to upsell like some companies we've done business with, but to expertly maintain and fix our air conditioning. Their representatives have been consistently reliable, great technicians and honest with us.
This last time we had Terry for maintenance and he was awesome. He explained what was looking good and what they will be keeping an eye on. He was a genius at making the complex lay-friendly without talking down to me at all. When I questioned him about the general status of our 12 year old Trane and Rudd units, he said because we've done such a good job of regular maintenance and equipped it with the proper sensors, we MIGHT get a full 20 years out of them.
The front office (usually Erin) is as friendly, smart and efficient as they come! Communication about appointments is as good as any company I've ever worked with. Thank, Erin! They are lucky to have you!! Thank
We haven't tried their plumbing services, but will if needed because the company culture is to be trained, fair, communicative and long term thinkers.
Watch your wallet! Employees are rude after work has begun. They made a mess of everything! Morehart is a far better, not to mention more respectful, and higher quality work.
We had some water issues in our primary residence over the past week. One was a mild ceiling leak fixed by their very capable and personable technicians James Hill and his partner, Josh.
Then, Sunday evening, our hot water tank unexpectedly burst. We called Day and Night that Sunday evening long after their technicians were no longer on call. However, their answering service, Heather, took our call and assured us their technicians would be sure to come out the following morning. Heather was so calm and assuring, and also showed genuine empathy in understanding our desire for urgency.
Sure enough Monday morning, James Hill, and Josh showed up slightly after 7 AM. James quickly assessed the water tank issue and since it was already out of warranty he offered us two very good options to replace the tank. Within a few hours we had hot water again. And the price included a 10 year warranty on parts and labor.
If you have ever experienced a burst hot water tank, you know how fast 50 gallons of water can spread, but luckily most of the water traveled away from our home. James installed a new tank and gave us expert advice on its maintenance and operation.
Plumbers are a rare breed, but GREAT, courteous and honest plumbers are even more rare.
We use Day and Night both for our AC units and for our plumbing and couldn't be happier with the professional and caring service ! Use them with great consumer confidence.

I scheduled an AC inspection because I hadn't since I purchased my AC 4 years ago. Vincent kept me informed on when he would be at my home. When he arrived he was very professional, courteous, kept his distance (it's still Covid time) and explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.
When he was finished, he explained everything he saw and did with photographs. I highly recommend Day & Night and especially Vincent,

I am SO impressed with Day and Night A/C and Plumbing. I met with 3 A/C companies when considering buying a new unit. Shaun Lewis (comfort advisor) outshone the other A/C gents, by far. Shaun went above and beyond in identifying the problem and offering several options to remedy my A/C concerns. The Day and Night techs and installers were also very polite, neat, and efficient. At different time, I needed a plumber, and again...Day and Night excelled. Above all, I felt I was in really good hands. Day and Night seems to have exceptional employees that really provide an excellent level of work whilst being VERY customer service oriented. Very pleased!! Five stars!!
It's time for our annual maintenance check for the A/C and plumbing at our house. We called Day and Night, who we've worked with since we bought our house about 5 years ago. Max and Phil showed up and got to work right away. They outlined what they'd be checking today and how long they expected each step would take. They checked with my husband whenever they a question or found something they wanted us to be aware. They checked and replaced some very old outdoor faucets and checked that the water pressure was where it should be when we mentioned 'burping' sounds when the washer was turned on. They also checked the level of metals in our water when we were asking questions about filtering the water.
Max and Phil were very professional and very funny and easy to work with. We know that Day and Night tries very hard to send the same crew to your house each time, so it's nice to get to know them a bit and share a bit about where we came from.
So - once again the Day and Night crew exceeded our expectations. And I'm very comfortable knowing that our A/C and plumbing are in good shape.

Have used this company for several years and was initially satisfied. The last 2 years I have been pressured to buy a very expensive service plan. The most recent tech was here a couple hours & it sounded like he was trying to dismantle my system in the attic. The pictures he presented looked like he was pulling insulation away from the framework to try to persuade me to spend thousands to repair air leaks. I really felt like I was paying for a sales call versus a semi-annual maintenance.
A couple weeks later someone called to ask which of the very expensive service plans I had selected. I calmly told her I wasn't going with any of the proposed service plans and would be getting a second opinion before making a decision. At that point, The company representative hung up on me.
We contacted day and night after realizing our a/c wasn't keeping the house cool and in AZ you can't have that!! Mike came out to give us an estimate and I must say I was super impressed! He was personable, took time to review the estimates we got from other companies, sat with me and went over everything. Our dogs absolutely loved him and he was so sweet to them! He left me feeling like we were going to be well taken care of. When it came time for the install (sadly we needed a whole new unit) the guys arrived bright and early and got right to work! Again, our dogs wanted to be a part of the action, to the point where one of them got loose was headed down the street. The guys gently guided her back home and into the house. I greatly appreciated it! They were all nice, helpful and worked so quickly! Juan and Eric were amazing!

We have been loyal customers to this company for many many years. We even used them to replace our old AC unit at our previous house. I am sorry to say that I have had it with this company. I am DONE with them!
We moved to a new home in Scottsdale and I assume that they saw big $$ based on our new location. We called them out to come clean, evaluate and maintain our new homes AC unit and they came in with guns blazing. They charged close to $800 to install two thermostats and used scare tactics to talk us into buying the gold maintenance plan. My husband made the mistake of telling them we had just moved into the house and they proceeded to tell us that our AC units were in very poor condition and needed several repairs. BTW our AC units at our new home are only 5years old!
Long story short, I have had Day and Night come out 2 times this year for ROUTINE visits. Each occasion they have provided 3 separate quotes of necessary repairs ranging from $2,000- $10,000!!!! My AC units have never stopped working and have been working well since we moved in. I am sorry, if you tell me that the cost to maintain my system is almost the same cost as buying a whole new AC unit, that is a big red flag in my book. In the last quote they provided they added a $600 fee to secure a crane for something located inside of my attic! A crane for what? We have a attic crawl space.
I called out another company for a second opinion who charged me a total of $500 for all the necessary repairs that I needed.
Day and Night is NOT trustworthy. I do NOT recommend them! They use scare tactics and try to upsell you on many unnecessary repairs. Never again!

We used them to replace our A/C and it spent over $10,000 but they do NOT stand behind their service or the products they use!
Absolute nightmare. They sure love to aggressively push their PLATINUM or Silver or whatever color BS package.
Stay away from them. All they care about is ripping you off with service fees and expensive fixes on products they force you to use.
We had another company come out and quoted us $800 cheaper FOR THR EXACT SAME PART

It seems like every time we call Day and Night Plumbing they always just want to sell us on a new water heater. Our current water heater is only a few years old and they wouldn't even try to repair it but immediately said it needed to be replaced and gave us very pricey quotes for new ones. They installed it a few years ago and didn't have any record of that either. I don't think the technicians are really taught how to repair anything, just replace things. I would choose another plumber if I were you.
I just love the honesty of this company. I had and issue with my heat pump and they had the opportunity to make some money yet they opt to tell me what the problem could possibly be. They told me what to do and it worked,therefore I save some money.

I have used Day and Night for the past 7 years. I utilize their Gold Maintenance contract for two HVAC units. ($500) The plan covers 2x annual visits with multi point checks for both units. I have always found their service people to be well skilled and professional to deal with. Also very nice and knowledgeable office personnel whenever I have had to call. I appreciate that when repairs or optional add-ons are proposed they give you 3 pricing options: best, better and good recommendations so u can make a decision based on your personal finances. Everything is always in writing so there are no surprises with DnN. Recently, we had to replace dual capacitors in both units a couple weeks apart. These failed on 112-115 degree days. In both instances they had someone out to repair within 24 hours which is pretty good considering time of year. These were also replaced at no cost (technician said the cost was $188 per capacitor) based on our Gold plan subscription. They also have other annual contract plans that are lower cost with less offerings. One thing to note is that during the higher demand months they usually only service clients with annual service contracts.
I was a tenant for 3 years and my landlord prepaid my maintenance. I purchased the home and instead of doing the prepaid maintenance, they rescheduled an appointment I had until after my house closed. They had it scheduled today and last minute canceled. They did not refund the owner the prepaid maintenance nor did they honor the prepaid service for me. Even though I have lived in the home for 3 years. That is what we call BAD PROFITS. I was going to sign up for a yearly maintenance program with them. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
I am updating this only to state that after having someone come out to see why my thermostat wasn't getting any power, it was due to the breaker box not having a label for the furnace. So the breaker I shut off wasn't sufficient to prevent a short. There was indeed a fuse short but not as a result of anything Vincent did during the visit. When I wrote my review I was and still am very upset about what occurred. But it would be unfair for me not to follow up after the concerns I raised at the end.
I stand by everything else I stated. Day and Night has reached out with their apologies, refund and offers to follow up, but I am not willing to risk dealing with them again.

Awesome experience with Day and Night. Ivan was so nice and professional. Found the issue within 5 min. He was not pushy at all and they were able to get out to our house much quicker than our original company that we have used for years. You definitely have new customers with us!!
We are new homeowners, & one of our Thermostats was indicating our system needed servicing - with 3 codes showing up under that message. I called in to Day& Night & gave them the codes, told them the system seemed to be working fine, & they said they needed to send out a technician to service it. The tech came out & quickly said it was just a battery needed in our bedroom sensor. $59. Was not pleased that they couldn't have figured that out from the codes. The tech said there was a little picture of a battery that indicated that. Not too happy with our first introduction to Day & Night.

This company is a perfect example of an HVAC horror story - one out trying to scam people. Here's my story:
Moved into my house a few months ago and called them to come do an operational check on the AC before the summer really started for $69, which is a good price. The tech came out (Eddie) and inspected the unit, saying it was fairly dirty and needed to be cleaned very soon to keep it operating well and running efficiently. He showed me some pictures of the fan and coil and from the pictures it did indeed look very dirty. The quotes he gave were my first red flag though - either sign up for their platnum service plan for over $500, or pay to clean each of the condenser coils and blower fan for over $800! This seemed like an absurdly high estimate just to clean a unit, so I declined and simply paid the $69. The tech said he would email me the pictures he showed so I could think about it, but this never happened.
I called around to a few other companies and got a quote for $250 to clean the indoor coil and blower fan (the condenser coil is on the outside so I could clean that myself no problem, opposed to paying the $200 quote from Day and Night to do that portion of the job) from a company called Alan's Air. Trusting that they were in fact dirty I hired them and they came out a few days later.
Fortunately, Alan's air is an honest HVAC company. They looked at it, found the indoor coil a little dirty and sprayed it with a cleaner, and found the blower fan almost spotless. Since the blower fan didn't need any cleaning at all, they also only charged me half the quoted amount.
Unfortunately I don't have the pictures the tech originally showed me, but attached is a picture of the indoor coil before it was cleaned by Alan's. A little dirty, yes, but not nearly as bad as the picture I was shown by Day and Night and certainly not a desperate situation. I also leaned later the coil is very easy to access, again the opposite of what Day and Night described.
Long story short, DO NOT USE DAY AND NIGHT! Their tech's clearly have a vested interest in up charging for services, and for services that are not even required.
Best experience I've ever had with an AC company. My technician, Vincent, was awesome. He was very friendly and knowledgeable, he also wore shoe protectors when he was inside. He broke down each issue with great detail and took photos and videos of everything which I absolutely appreciated. In summary I would definitely recommend this company and if you had the opportunity I'd highly recommend working with Vincent as your technician.

We used to be customers. The last two times they failed to show up in the 2-3 hour time window they had committed to. After I call them....The first time the dispatch told me that other unscheduled customers took priority over my scheduled repair job. The second time they just could not make it during the morning window. I picked morning so we would not get bumped.
They did not even have the courtesy to call and say they would be late. If they can't respect my time (yes I took off of work to be home for their service call), they I cannot respect them as an organization.
We did use them before, but no more. Many other highly rated AC companies, and I already was serviced, professionally and on time by one, certainly not Day and Night.
We woke Sunday morning/Father's Day to realize that our air conditioner and fan were not running. Since our unit is a Day and Night, we called the number listed on the internet and were able to reach someone very quickly to explain our situation. They were very understanding, took all the necessary information and said they would call back shortly. Shantel called us back within 20 minutes and said they would be able to have a service technician available to come to our home between 10AM and noon. The service tech would call when there were on the way to our home. Shantel was very personable, quick and understanding. We got a call from Ricky at about 9:40AM saying he would be at our home within 35 to 40 minutes. He arrived and was on our roof by 10:15AM. Ricky Rodriguez was very efficient, pleasant and helpful. He was able to diagnose the issues and provide the required solutions within 1.5 hours. He was happy to have my husband watch his work and join him on the roof. We were amazed at the the great customer service and support provided by Shantel and Ricky. We never expected to get someone to our home so quickly and the problem fixed before noon. We felt very blessed to have had Shantel and Ricky provide our service. We decided to sign up for the VIP maintenance program with Day and Night due to the great service we received.
First rate. Was there next day and didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Would recommend them highly.

I've never dealt with a company who has so willingly disregarded communication and has failed to investigate the issues.
By posting this I hope others will find another company to use for their HVAC needs. It would be unfortunate if another customer had the same experience we did.

We were told about Day & Night by a friend and called them for a quote for a new system. Marc came out right away. He checked out our existing unit
which was original to the home & here when we bought it.
He was very knowledgeable & informative. We decided to go with them and couldn't be happier! We got installed within a few days by Danny & his coworker. They were also great. Very thorough, polite & knowledgeable- wore masks& gloves at all times & foot coverings in the house.
We highly recommen them and also recommend the addition of an air scrubber.

I was recommended Day & Night by my neighbor and I thought I would give them a try. I Day & night over for some Preventative Maintenance on my AC unit and was shocked with how professional and courteous the tech was. He showed us what exactly was wrong with the unit and explained it in terms that I could easily understand. I would highly recommended their service for any future HVAC or plumbing work.
I would give this company zero stars If possible! They are unprofessional and provided me with nothing after paying them almost $700. When my house was 90 degrees and getting warmer, after they came out twice, I contacted the Service Manager, Mr Gondella (if that's his real name), and he told me he didn't believe me.
The people on the phone and even their technicians seem nice but no one seems to be able to tell the truth. They wanted to charge me thousands of dollars for a leak and when I questioned my options they told me everything was my fault. I went with another company that is not only professional but they fixed my air conditioner for a reasonable price. I even waited 2 weeks before writing this review because after dealing with Day & Night I was fearful of the other company. The good news for us is that the other company, not Day & Night, fixed out air conditioner and we have had no issues since the other company's visit.
I also believe that the high rating for Day & Night is false. They send customers an email asking for a review and if the review is not 5 stars, they do not publish it.
Do not use this terrible company!

I wish I could give 10 stars! My kitchen sink was backed up and after telling my daughter, she recommended your business. Jake showed up the same day I called but could not find where the clog in the pipe was. The next day a drain specialist, John came over and cleared the pipe. I cannot tell you how thankful I am for the work Jake and John did! Now I know who to call when I have another emergency! If you are in need of a GOOD plumber, look no further! I hired Day & Night to instal new Heat Pump on my roof. The consultant, Jason Gondella, was exceptional. Answered all of my questions. I was able to afford the new heat pump on a 0% for 36 months contract. Thier price was in line or even less than the other companies I got estimates from. Also, I am a senior at high risk for Covid 19 and fully vaccinated and I really appreciate that Jason is also fully vaccinated. Relieved my mind. The unit was installed in about 4 hours today, the workers are excellent, organized and efficient. Great folks to do business with.
AC quit in the middle of the night. My 3am troubleshooting could not find the problem. called day and night and they had some body ready to come out at 11am. before they got here we discovered it was the air handler breaker. i had reset the AC breaker but didnt know about the other one. Unfortunately they didnt get my text telling them it was taken care of before they arrived. But they were kind and understanding when it happened. I appreciate their responsiveness and will certainly give them a call the next time something goes wrong which I hope is no time soon. thank you Day and Night!
I noticed some water pooling and damp ground around my 2 yr. old split system installed by Day and Night 2 yrs. ago. I was due for my semi-annual maintenance under contract in Oct. , but needed to accelerate that service due to water issue and potential problem. I called and spoke to Jenny on Sunday and she promptly was able to schedule my service for that Monday Sept. 13. Jenny provided OUTSTANDING service and Day and Night was able to provide what I consider professional, friendly, competent and consistent customer AND technical services. I highly recommend this company staffed by a crew of great people from phones to on site.

Way over charge to install a tankless water heater. Then said they would email me a different price then never got any email poor business
Jason came out to give me an estimate on replacing my a/c unit. He actually called and asked if he could arrive early. That was awesome! He was very thorough, and answered all of my questions. He even told me about the 3yr/same as cash financing option. When I do pull the trigger and replace my unit - I will absolutely go with Day and Night!
My wife and I have worked with Day & Night several times for repairs on our old HVAC unit and some plumbing issues we've had in the past and had a generally positive experience. When we were getting quotes for a new HVAC unit. They didn't offer the lowest price, but we went with them anyway because we had good experiences with them. The same day we made the agreement to have a new heat pump installed, we received a coupon in the mail for $500 off a new unit.
After we had the system installed my wife went into the office to pay and took the coupon with her to see if they would honor it. It did say not valid with any other offers we weren't trying to use any other coupons but our quote did include a trade-in and Preferred Customer discount that I assumed was just something they put in every quote, which would serve as a loop-hole to facilitate not actually honoring the coupons. To our surprise, they accepted the coupon and charged the quoted price - $500
Two weeks later, they sent a technician to do a final walk-through. He arrived after I had already left for work so my wife was alone in the house. The technician looked around at the system, and then requested $500. My wife told him that she had already paid and she wasn't expecting any additional charges. He insisted on collecting the $500 nonetheless. She paid because being a 110lb woman alone in the house with an adult male, she didn't feel she was in a position to argue. She was very upset, and called to tell me what happened.
I called and spoke with a manager who said that they already had this conversation with my wife when she came in to pay and she must have misunderstood because she isn't a native English speaker. He expected me to believe that when my wife went in to pay, they explained to her why they couldn't accept her coupon and then proceeded to charge the balance of the invoice minus the amount of the coupon they didn't accept.
We were perfectly prepared to pay the extra $500 if they hadn't accepted it. If the receptionist messed up and wasn't supposed to have accepted the coupon and they said I'm sorry but we made a mistake and accepted your coupon in error, so the balance is still $500 I could have accepted that. To bully us into returning the discount they had already given, isn't right.
The befuddling part to me is that this was about an $11,000 purchase and it wasn't exactly a screaming deal to begin with. It isn't as if they'd have been taking a loss if they had just let it go. I get that times are tough right now, but in the long term they'll lose much more in my future business and good will by not coping up to their mistakes.

I can't tell you enough wonderful things about this company! Phenomenal service plus a few jokes along the way. James is such a wonderful person who does excellent work. We had a sewer injector pump installed and it was great. We also had a new osmosis system put in along with water softners. The work that was done was so intricate and detailed. Mike the Plumber Supervisor was amazing and is a super person who helped me with a few questions about our systems. Last but not least Mike the General Manager is amazing. The best company we did and always will use!!!

I have boing business with Day and Night for close to 20 years. I always have had great service and trusted results.
It was time, I needed one of my two AC units replaced. Something I dreaded of course. And despite my great experiences with Day and Night, this expense warranted getting several bids.
Among the 4 bids I received, one was stupid expensive, two tried to convince me to to purchase a different brand, a fourth I felt they weren't listening to me.
One universal claim each of those companies made was the quality of the installation was the most important factor in the life of the unit. I still had two more bids I had scheduled but it was clear who I was going with:
Day and night installed my systems years ago and although I am not an AC installer I do know quality work when I see it.
I didn't take the last two estimate appointments. The right company was the one I have been working with all along. Thank you Jeff, Marc, Vicky, Danny and....
My new Trane installation looks great, sounds great and we are once again very comfortable.
Day and night is the best I have found. Our technician was James Hill and I am very pleased with his professionalism and knowledge.

Loved how they met my needs and concerns so promptly in this summer heat. My AC unit inexplicably stopped working in this summer heat and Vincent came out on a Sunday and ran the unit through all its checks, found the problem and had it up and running within the hour. Masked, polite, professional, happy to be of service... how refreshing and wonderful to work with... Vincent even went above and beyond to repair a small problem that he alertly found that wasn't part of work order. Definitely will call again and can recommend!
Our A/C was not working well. I called and had a technician out in one day. Tomas was very informative and thorough. He assed our air conditioning unit. Explained what was working well and what needed fixing. He gave us the cost before he fixed the unit and was professional throughout the entire process. I would definitely use this company as my go to HVac company.

I am so impressed with the customer service and technician service of Day & Night Air! I called based on a promo from KUPD.
Before true summer temperatures hit, I wanted to be sure our unit was looked over. The CSR, Michelle, who took my call was great to speak with and offered their current specials. She found a technician in the area, and I had next-day service. I received a text notification that I was the technician's next stop, and a phone call from the technician with a 30-minute warning that he would be arriving.
When I answered the door, I met Antonio. The first thing I look for is professional appearance, name tag and uniform - I'm not letting just anyone into my home! Antonio had a clean, pressed uniform with belt and tucked in shirt - wow! Upon entering, he stopped to put on shoe booties to protect our carpet/flooring. He presented me with a sheet that described how the service call would go. He asked that I ask any questions and stop him along the way at any time. I had very few questions, but when I did, he explained clearly and using layman's terms so I could follow what he was describing (even not knowing too much about A/Cs). Through the service, he was very clean with his work area, non-invasive, and courteous in my home. He even asked to borrow the broom to sweep up some insulation that had fallen from the attic access.
At the end of the service, he ran through everything he had completed. He left me a short list of recommendations and pricing. At no time did I feel pressured or obligated to purchase or install any of the items, and he explained the benefits of each as well as reiterating that they were all optional, not necessary for the unit's performance. He also gave me handouts on the recommendations so I could read and research the items.
Antonio was able to take my payment in the house because the company has provided mobile devices with portable card swipers, so he didn't even need to take my card out to the truck to process the payment. I was charged exactly what I was quoted - no hidden fees, charges, or taxes at the end.
Antonio even took customer service one step further by adjusting my neighbor's trash and recycle bins so the truck would be able to access around his service vehicle. This is not day-to-day norms.
I thought my routine check up would be wiggling a few wires, checking the vents, and out the door. The service was thorough and took two hours to complete. I purchased one of the recommended items, which was available on the truck and he was able to install same day (no extra trip charge)!
Overall, from call to complete, this was a great experience! I will be inviting them back for our fall service, too.
I definitely recommend calling Day & Night Air if you're in the market for routine or emergency service!
The water valve behind our fridge was slowly leaking at the handle. While trying to replace it, I managed to twist the copper pipe. We called Day & Night and within a couple of hours Cameron arrived. He took the time to explain the repair. Job took about 30 minutes and couldn't we be happier. Cameron was courteous, professional and personable. We have used Day & Night for AC service for years so it's no surprise their plumbing services are equally exceptional.
Frank W. quickly diagnosed our plumbing problem and proceeded through the logical sequence of methods to clear an extremely difficult blockage...hardened mortar filling up nearly half our main line! He had a variety of powerful tools at his disposal, and eventually retrieved an extreme high pressure water jet which finally broke up the concrete-like mound. It was a combination of the right tools and his expertise and determination to fix the problem without resorting to digging up the whole pipe, thus saving us much time and expense. The entire experience with both Frank and the whole company, particularly their communications of appointment information and identifying the employee on his way were professional and very appreciated. They are now my goto company for any plumbing, or HVAC issues.

I have nothing but positive things to say about this company. They have been servicing my unit for about 2 years now and I have never felt that they have tried to pressure me into purchasing something that I truly did not need. I have had multiple technicians, all friendly, knowledgeable, punctual, and professional.
I recently had it serviced and as my unit is 20+ years old and in need of some costly repairs, I decided to go ahead and invest in a new one. I contacted several companies and found that they were the cheapest and offered great financing. On the day of the install, the technicians arrived exactly on time and diligently got to work. I was surprised that a manager came out to inspect the work and to see how the techs were doing (no complaints here). Overall, I am happy with day and night and even recommended them.

A/C quit in the middle of a 110 degree day and I got a recommendation to call Day & Night. Called at 8:30pm and Lisa put me on the schedule for 12pm next day. Next am they called and texted with an opening that was even sooner -- Great service!
Best part was Kevin Koopman, the service tech who came out to perform the inspection. I thought it was the compressor, but it was actually the capacitor...a part that I am choosing to replace myself. Kevin had a great, friendly attitude, wasn't 'salesy' like a lot of service techs can be and was very honest. Soooo refreshing to have a great guy like him here. Super knowledgeable too. A real expert in his field.

Called for help with a glycol leaking solar hot water heater. They came out on a Sat, morning on condition that I pay a $59 trip fee which I agreed to. Aaron Blackwell appears to know his solar and found the problem immediately. He said he didn't like to work on my particular brand and to call the original installer. He then waived the trip charge, was very polite and clean cut.
This is a business I would like to work for me and will call them when I need air/heat/plumbing!

I had a great experience with service tech José S. We have an 15 year old unit, that has its challenges but we really needed to get through this last summer with it before replacing it. Night and Day provided me with a quote for the refrigerant gas my system needed ahead of time, and suggested a sealant kit due to our slow rate of our leak. José have a few other suggestions as well. At no point during the repair service did I feel like I was getting sold, I always had options.
I'm just glad we were able to cool off the house again and don't need to buy a new system with little notice.
Came quick for an estimate and polite and responsive but could not reach my price point. I think for repair the customer service is awesome. They answer their phone and respond. Can't say that for all the companies I called.
We had issues with our AC and Tomas was incredibly quick to tune up our AC unit. He did an assessment and provided great information that will allow us to better take care of our AC unit moving forward. The following day Jason came by and provided a quote on options to replace the AC unit, so that we knew our long term options. Jason was thorough and did a separate assessment then gave us a bunch of discounted prices. Bravo Day and Night!

I called this company because of their Yelp reviews.
One of my tenants was having complaints the A/C wasn't working. In this heat, during the summer, I needed to have someone out to his property quick.
Turns out no major repairs were needed (hence 2 stars for being honest) but did need a basic thermostat. The service tech had them in the truck but the cost to do the install... OVER $300! Said he could have it done in 30 minutes. When I questioned the amount, I was told he doesn't make the decisions on pricing.
They were quick to get to the apartment and diagnose (they should be cause I paid for their $89 service call to drive 5 miles) but to be charged ANOTHER $200+ seemed crazy high.
I won't hire again.
Terrible experience with these guys. I called in the morning or 4/9 to schedule a time to get AC working (note: it's about 93 degrees today). The lady from the office called me back later in day to let me know the repairman would be closer to 7 PM (originally a 4-7 PM window). I thought this was great, rarely do You get courtesy calls like that. That is about where the quality service stops. NO repair man showed up. I then call the office and they have the after hours guy call me. The after hour guy let's me know there is an extra charge for after hours service (ummm sir this was not supposed to be after hours but you guys dropped the ball...) so he shows up and temporarily fixes issue (charges me $250 to put a wire on the unit) and then air stops working 5 min after he leaves and he said he is on his way back... this was 40 min ago. I'm not sure who is hiring and training their people but this situation was truly an embarrassment for the company. I would NEVER recommend this company and I will NEVER being calling them

I had my usual maintenance checkup with Jeremy. I've known him for about 12 years, even before he joined Day and Night Air. Jeremy is very knowledgeable, always pleasant and patient. I have had many services provided by Day & Night over the years and have found them to be one of my best, most dependable contractors. They have done Heating / AC and Plumbing for me at my home and rental properties over the years. They are prompt, dependable, on time, efficient and neat.
Scammers liars thieves, extremely unprofessional, do not use this company, you will regret it , it's seriously Unbelievable how this company treats people I cannot believe that she laughed at me when I told her that he connected the W wire which makes my heater and my AC come on at the same time . It's the reason I called them! I'm dripping sweat right now even with the ac on cause the heat is on! I had a horrible sleep, AND I already paid somebody to come and disconnect that wire and now she's trying to tell me that I have to pay to have it disconnected when he connected it without my permission!and When I paid yo have it disconnected already! I can't authorize the repair because he told me the part was in Texas and not even here In Az and o cannot wait in 100° weather for my AC part to get here, having the heater runs up my gas bill and she thinks it's funny when I asked for a supervisor she laughed and said there isn't a supervisor, I need a technician to come out here to undo this W wire because I don't have the right screwdriver to disconnect it, shady company he left the W wire on to force me to have to pay for this repair! AND They tried to upswell me and charge me $380 for a maintenance package that Every AC guy I've ever had in the last 11 years told me I don't need and just because my AC ducts are vents are dirty!! all of Az is dirty daily, daily I have to wash my car , and sweep and dust , also tried to charge $303 to install my google nest thermostat another company is Going to do for me for free ! He Quoted me $1973 when I told them I had a quote for $1600 to do allot more work than they are including installing my google nest thermostat which takes 2 mins and replacing all wires as needed and adding two control module boards if needed, not just the blower motor!!! their quote is just for the blower motor nothing else !!! which means they are charging $1100 in labor!!! to change a part of that is plug and play !! and I could very easily do myself , do not use this company , I repeat do not use this company you will regret it

My water heater broke down so I called this plumbing firm and they were able to send a plumbing technician within a couple of hours..
Janes was my technician and he was personal and professional. He immediately placed protective covers over his shoes before entering my home which I really appreciated.
He was thorough and explained the problem in detail so that I could understand and then provided specific quote details and my options.
After discussing jr options I agreed to accept the terms and James started on the project right away.
He cleaned the entire area where my old water heater was located and even hosed down my pool deck after the job was competed.
James truly cared and I can't than him enough for the efficient and great job he did on replacing 2 valves and a water heater.
If you have a plumbing problem, look no further this this plumbing company.
Speak with Chantel, the nicest person on the other side of the phone. She will take good care of you and connect you with a great plumber like James.
I had a really good experience with this company. They arrived within the timeframe quoted and even phoned ahead to advise that it would be likely they would be arriving on the back end of that time. I thought that was above and beyond, as I know many companies that will quote 11-1 and show up at 1259 with no acknowledgement of the time you've wasted waiting on them.
The sales guy was communicative about options, folks in the office informative about promo financing, and the techs who did the work were polite, professional, and had personalities. Spending 7-9K on anything is never a fun experience, but working with Day & Night made it less painful.

My A/C starting making weird noises on Thursday night. Day & Night was recommended to my husband by a coworker, so we called them Friday morning. Kent got to the house that afternoon and was able to diagnose the problem quickly. While he didn't have the part on his truck, Day & Night arranged to have the item picked up from a nearby facility first thing Saturday morning and scheduled us for a morning appointment. Randy showed up and had the A/C back up and running by 11:00am. Our lifesavers!
The reviews are right about these guys. I put my dog in her crate while Kent was over, so she didn't disturb him. She was excited, wanting to meet him, so he said to let her out after he came down from the attic. Even my Lucy liked him! Kent explained what was wrong, and why we did the right thing by turning the A/C off to not damage it further. He gave us pricing and signed us up for one of the maintenance plans which ends up being cheaper than calling some random company out twice a year. A much cheaper repair than my horrified thought of purchasing a whole new A/C.
However, when that time comes, we'll go back to Day & Night. Thanks guys!!
On 8/13/2017 my A/C stopped working and it was a sunday. My home warranty allowed me to use an out of network contractor of my choice , and i chose Day and Night . In less than 1 hour of calling, a technician was at my door. His diagnosis was that my compressor needed to be replaced and was bad . They sent out a second technician on 8/14/2017 to remove and replace the compressor . By that night i had cold air . The company really gives really great customer service. The people in the office who handled my work order were awesome. The 2 Technicians Mike L . and Rene M. were also awesome. They were professional , knowledgeable , and thorough. They will even wear foot protection over their boots to protect the flooring in your house. Thank you Day and Night . Excellent company highly recommend !

I'm pretty frustrated with you guys. You installed two systems on my roof and reducted the house about 6 or 7 years ago, and sure we had roof leaks and some problems, but you guys eventually handled it pretty well and have been the folks I would consider my HVAC guys. But I'm in the midst of a remodeling project, and had a bit of simple ducting tasks on my list that I figured could give you a day of work and get it done right. I can't even talk to anyone for an estimate without a $79 charge, and you're not interested in the work until the fall. I guess we're done, so much for my HVAC guys.
This company has to have the nicest people for them. They seem to be honest and professional at all times.Their prices are fair and very competitive compared to other companies. Their work is exceptional and honest. I would highly recommend

Just had Day & Night do a pipe repair in my leaky ceiling. Troy came out and was an absolute professional. The level of service, amicability, professionalism, and expertise were unparalleled. I know enough about plumbing to have a conversation (not enough to fix myself) and I could clearly tell Troy was being honest and truthful with me and giving me the best possible advice. I will definitely be requesting Troy's services next time I contact Day and Night for help.
My experience with the company as a whole was awesome as well. I asked for a quote and they reached out to me right away and were able to schedule an appointment very quickly. I spoke with Maria on the phone and she was friendly and helpful. The charge for the work was also very reasonable and comparable to other quotes I received, if not cheaper. We recently had a new air conditioning unit installed. I'd used Day and Night in the past and called them along with a few other companies for estimates. Day and Night was in the middle price wise, but I generally felt more comfortable with ten than the cheaper companies. I also didn't feel like I was being pressured into an expensive unit that I really didn't need like another company. The process was simple, the techs and salesperson arrived on time, and they didn't leave a mess behind. I was also impressed that the owner came to inspect the unit before payment was required.
Another selling point for me, was seeing that Day and Night donated new air conditioning units to the AZ Humane Society. I'm a big supporter of animal rescue and that's where we adopted our sweet dog Lola from.
Overall, I was very pleased with my experience.

Not recommended. They came out to service our 6 AC units while we were gone for the summer. They left our cooling on 70* (in the middle of the summer!) when we had it set to 90* while we were gone. Our electric bill was 4Xs as much as when it was left on 90*. We didn't know until when received our electric bill. Total waste of money!
When we returned to the home, several of the units made strange noises. When we reached out - they were only concerned with having us buy an annual contract and no concern to hear why we wanted them out.
Our experience with them was not good.
I had Day & Night do an emergency repair to a water line from the water meter to my home. The staff I spoke with were helpful and pleasant. The technician (Cameron) was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. They were the only company I called on a Saturday afternoon that was willing to come out and fix the broken main water line within 4 hours. They actually came 2 hours early. I would give them 5 stars for how I was treated and the work done.
I am giving 4 stars due to many of the other comments related to price. I thought $746 was high for 2 hours of labor and minimal material cost, but it was a same day repair request on the weekend. I think most of what homeowners get charged is generally on the high side nowadays. I understand various factors go into pricing and likely many other companies would have charged similarly. I would still use Day & Night again due to their quick and professional service and friendly staff.
Kevin at Day and Night AC provided excellent service today when he came for our AC service. He identified some subpar work and short cuts another contractor had used on our unit a few months back that we were unaware of. We were able to contact the other company to rectify their mistakes. Thank you for your honesty and diligence Kevin!
My expectations were most certainly exceeded by Day & Night Air Conditioning. I can't praise them enough for an exceptional job well done, prompt & wonderful customer service, and competitive pricing with affordable payment options. Okay so prior to today I would have given this company a full 5 stars. Outstanding service, professional, prompt, etc. I have been a customer for several years and recommended them to everyone in my area.
As of today I have to remove a star. They cannot seem to schedule an appointment correctly for air conditioning servicing.
Synopsis from the full story below: They moved my appointment without warning but agreed to correct the appointment to my original time and then never showed up. Appointment ended up being moved to another day.
I made my appointment for Monday 10am-Noon (they even confirmed the time in a voicemail message the prior Friday) but they elected to change the window to 8am with ZERO warning.
7:30am I received several phone calls from them to confirm my 8am appointment. I was not available to take those calls. I called them back at 8:30am (1.5 hours before my actual appointment) and was informed that I missed my 8am appointment.
They agreed to move my appointment to 10am-Noon slot (which it should have been all along).
No one came. Noon rolled around and I called back again only to be informed that I missed my appointment of the day (8am) and it would have to be rescheduled for tomorrow.
Seriously?
They could not seem to use their scheduling software correctly. Every single time I spoke to them on the phone they were adamant that my appointment was 8am.
I NEVER agreed to an 8am time slot. I have standing appointments on Mondays and would never be available at that time.
I wasted my entire morning waiting for someone that never showed up.
Why only 1 star removed? The service manager that I spoke with was apologetic and said he would work with the staff to ensure it does not happen again. He worked with me to find a resolution that works for me.
I appreciate how fast the service manager looked into the matter.
Be very careful using this company.. They eather have employes that dont know what their doing , or they are flat out wanting to rip you off.

I told the girl i have done a couple of repairs to my 12 yr old unit with in the last two years.i also told the repair man RON that also..He told me the girl wrote that after 2 hours i started to hear the noise.. bad commuication from the start.
thnk god i record all my calls and people that come into my home or i would have not had proof of his manipulation an severe scare tactic to make me pay 1400 to do a repair that DID NOT need to be done because i already had replaced that a few years ago .. yes i know things can happen but this was flat out LYE. I did also have RON talk to my boyfriend on the phone before he went up there and he told him IM NOT AN AC GUY BUT IT SOUND LIKE A FAN IS LOOSE.. MY boyfriend said that/
so instead of RON checking out my whole unit he just assumed that it was a indoor blower wheel going bad and of course i would have to replace the motor too. well I have M S and told Ron i have a medical
condtiton and that i really needed him to turn the unit back on and to my suprise HERES THE SCARE TACTIC.. he said no he could not do that that my barrrings in the motor would cause terrible damamge to my unit. that could be possible if that is what really was the issue
so i got very anixious and afraid and had to call my freind to tell him to
put it on again for me... not to change anything and I would take the responciblity if something happened i wanted a second option. and thank goodness i did..It ended up just being a bit loose, and my compresser needed new stablizer mounts on the bottm to stop the rattle which they didnt charge me for just for the visit.. and i asked them to take photos of the inside of everything which they did.. the other comany stated that my unit looks great and is in good running order.
In my option if a man RON has 25 years doing this and 15yrs with the company they would be aware of his tricks. and another very annouwing thing he would say i counted over 7 time he would say in my Professional Option. REALLY.. He basically would have charged me money and possible done a bate and switch .. i will be contacting the bbb and requesting my visit money..

We recently had Day & Night install two new air conditioners for us. We couldn't be happier with process, Danny, Aaron and Rick were punctual, very polite and they laid down drop clothes through the house to protect our carpet. We are really enjoying the new systems, they're so quiet that if wasn't for the house being crisp and cold we wouldn't even know they were running. If you want the job done right call Day & Night.
Just love working with these guys. They've installed and maintained systems at my own house, and at my mom's, and they're always reliable, prompt, clean, and thorough. Their technician, Eric R., came over Monday morning when my drain pan decided ... it just wouldn't, anymore. Diagnosed, fixed, new doodad to prevent a repeat installed, and off he went. Reasonable price, good work, preventive ideas ... what's not to like!!!
Impolite, unprofessional, unhelpful, and that's in the initial call before they've landed my business (e.g., 20 questions about how I heard of them while we're baking in no A/C). Highly doubt it would get better from there. The very next company I called was able to tell me when a technician could come out (within an hour window) and I was able to schedule with no aggravation. Also, pay attention to the $89 service call they charge - the next company charged half of that.

I have nothing but great things to say about Day & Night!! I just purchased a home in Surprise but the A/C wasn't really performing. I was wanting to purchase a new unit, but with the help of my sales rep Marc, we realized the problem was really the need for an additional intake register and some fixes to the existing ductwork. They provided me with three different estimates and I had the job scheduled in just a few days. All of the techs (Ed, Seth, Scott & George) were helpful, professional and very courteous. The work was done exactly as promised and in just a few hours I had a whole new system installed. I also received a follow up call a week later to ask how everything was working. I was delighted to say that the improvement in the temperature and overall comfort level inside my home were literally night and day! They sent another professional and courteous tech out a couple of weeks later (Ronnie) and he did a thorough inspection to ensure every part of the job was done correctly. I couldn't be any happier with the work that was done and the finished product has made a world of difference. We will be cool and comfortable all summer long. Thank you Day & Night!
Day & Night is a real quality business. We had a significant water line break in our front yard and other plumbers that we contacted could not come for days or even more than a week!
Michael Probst (the technician) came within hours, assessed the situation accurately and came up with a good plan to fix the problem correctly. It was a big job but he finished it in 1 day! It involved a lot of digging and a re-pipe. Michael even helped me remove a huge bush to get to the heart of the problem. He was exceptionally neat and replaced all the landscape rock and washed the area thoroughly when he was done. The price was totally in line and we could not have been happier with the professionalism and friendliness of the people.

We had a major drain clog that caused our dishwasher to flood out the front and our kitchen sink was filling up. This was on a Saturday at 3pm. Day and Night Plumbing had a serviceman out to our house by 3:45. He was honest about costs and even talked me out of snaking the drain through the roof because it would have been more expensive. He went in through the p-trap under the sink, removed the the clog and had everything flowing and draining like normal by 5pm. Pretty stellar response and service time for a plumbing company on a SATURDAY!
He was extremely clean and setup shop with care as to not make any unnecessary messes. He was polite and honest and thorough in his verbiage and inspection.
I highly recommend this company if you're in a pinch!
We have used D&N AC for almost 10 years and have always been pleased with our service.
Our silver maintenance plan was renewed today and our service tech Eric did a great job on both my mother in laws house as well as ours, he was thorough and informative and would like to request him for any of our service calls!

My house was not cooling so I called their number [from website] for after hours. Very pleasant call and they were able to get a technician out within a few hours. Problem solved, happy house. A special shout out to Kevin for his great attitude and explanation of the issue and gently suggesting I have a regular service contract to keep my system in top shape. And to use the proper filter!
I am so glad that there are companies with 24 hour service that have such great customer service. Highly recommended!

Thank you, thank you! In this 109 degree day, we had a power surge and my AC stopped working. I called Day & Night and within the hour tech Conrad Dominguez was out here and on the roof. The compressor had shut off and he also did my cleaning (my bad didn't call before I turned on the air a few months ago) He was up there a couple of hours. I am soooooo Thankful to Conrad who was a total professional and explained to me what had happened and showed me pictures as well. Day and Night thank you to the office staff as well who always treat me with respect.
My two stars is for their ability to get someone out to check my unit within a couple of hours and for ease of contact.
I received a text from my renters saying that their heat had gone out on one of the coldest nights. Immediately I looked for someone on yelp who had amazing ratings and could make it out there to take a look at it ASAP. Day & Night Air was able to accommodate my rush and sent someone within hours. He called after looking at the unit and that is where I can say that my experience is very different than everyone else's I had read on yelp.
The motor had blown and several other things needed to be fixed as well. I told him that my unit was still under warranty and fairly new (not even 5 years old yet) and yet the labor alone was going to cost over $550. This was outrageous I thought and I asked him why the price was so high and he told me that it was mostly because he would have to drive around a lot and fill out the warranty paperwork in order to get the parts that are covered under the warranty.
I then asked him again to explain to me what was wrong and other than the blower motor and the piece connected to it that went bad but there were several other items he wanted to replace as well because they would go out soon anyway.
I felt his quote was extremely high and asked him to leave the parts where they were as I would call the person who installed it for help instead. The person I called was able to get the parts and do the fix for $250 and said it was only so much because the unit had been completely disassembled and reassembling it took quite a bit of time.
Saving $300 never felt so good and I did end up calling back in to the company to let them know I felt like I was being ripped off. They assured me they would have the manager get back to me and he has not done so yet. Being that it is the holiday season, this is not strange.
The fee they charged for the diagnostic was very reasonable, only $59 for someone to be out there within hours to check it out which would have been waived if the work had been completed the same day. I definitely cannot complain about that. That seems like a very good deal.
I cannot say I had the same experience as a lot of other people and I cannot say that I would be interesting in ever calling this company again as felt like this specific technician was trying to gouge me for the repair.
I got a few bids out before I choose day and night. My first was George Brazil, he tried to sell me everything under the sun. I can honestly say I learned a lot from him. The next guy was from Craig's list. He was clearly trying to make his own money on the side and rip people off. Flores brothers was next but he really didn't know of any of the new technology that most AC companies had like the air scrubs. He just wanted to sell me a Lenox, which was ok, but I wanted more service . Then I called penguin air. Holy crap, they were way way over priced for a goodman AC, it made me want to call Gorge Brazil back for a York. Then I did more research and called night and day. Brian took his time and explained what I needed ad he was by far the most fair company I ran into. Not only that but they did business with TRANE. Top of the Line. Nothing but good awesome experience all the way around. I recommend them 100% 1) Truth 2) Quaility 3) Fair pricing 4) Knowledge and keeping up with the times and 5) excellent service!
My rating is 5 across the boards! Haven't had any problems yet and my electric bill is cut in half!!! They saved me $$$

AC went out on a hot Arizona summer day. I feared the worst and turned to Day & Night. After having them install a new AC at my previous residence I was confident in their work. I called and the earliest time available was between 6-9PM which I gladly accepted. Conrad called at 4:30 PM and said he was on the way! He arrived and quickly identified the problem. 30 minutes later and the AC was blowing cold! Thank you Conrad and Day & Night for another quality job.
$59 service fee to come out and look at the problem. Over the phone they can't tell you a price to snake a drain because they don't know what's stuck in the drain. This is bull! Even after a plumber comes to the house, they won't know what's stuck in the drain unless they use a camera to find out. So you'll be down $59 for them to say, we don't know what's stuck, well have to run a camera. DONT GO WITH THEM! Other places will do free estimates and tell you prices for snaking a drain over the phone.
I had a great experience with my recent purchase and install of a 5-ton Package Unit from Day & Night Air Conditioning. This is one company that has their act together!
My experience was nothing but positive ... from initial contact to final walk-through and sign-off on the unit ... every person I dealt with was a true professional and made sure I was aware of the next steps and then handed me off to my next point of contact so that everything went smoothly and I felt confident throughout the entire process.
Before selecting Day & Night Air Conditioning I had received 6 quotes from other dealers/installers. Two of the most expensive quotes were from companies backed by Costco and Home Depot (they were $3K - $5K higher due to the unit an upsell on install), two were from well-known local names in the industry with good reputations but still a little higher priced and still upsell for install, one was a low-ball price for an off- brand unit and cutting corners on install. I was at a lost what to do and then decided to take another look at Yelp and found Day & Night Air Conditioning.
As soon as Marc provided pricing with details on install I knew I had found the right company. They had the A/C unit I wanted at a great price, and installed an additional return and grills, new roof elbow and stand, and even included 5-year financing at a great low rate through Wells Fargo Bank. In the end, they were lower priced than all the other companies (except for the low-ball offer for install that would not pass resell inspection).
Long-story short, I have a new Heat Pump and a new company that stands behind their unit and install. The parts warranty is for 10-years, and labor is covered for 2-years with a six-month and annual inspection included.
I could not be happier and I am very proud to recommend Day & Night Air Conditioning for all you're A/C repair and replacement needs. Thanks Day & Night!!!

We had a great experience with this company. We were able to have a detailed estimate which then evolved to the installation of a new ac system all within a few days. Our technicians, D. and George were a couple of good guys- professional and personable and were great with covid distancing and wearing masks. The installation process was timed flawlessly like a well oiled machine considering all of the steps involved (arrival of crane, disposal service to haul away old system etc). They cleaned up before they left and made this experience as painless as one could wish for! Thank you
With 121 degrees in the Phoenix area yesterday, many people had issues with their AC. Mine died in the early evening and the temperature in my house approached 90 by 9 PM. This was one of a number of companies I called. The company where I had a service contract did not even return my call until 1 PM today to tell me they could not come out until Wednesday. It was Sunday when the AC died! This company, Day and Night Air Conditioning, returned my call very promptly, and although they could not come out Sunday night, they did schedule me for 3-7 on Monday. I reconfirmed on Monday morning after learning that no one else could schedule anything any earlier, and the technician was here promptly at 3:00. What a pleasure to deal with such a nice and competent receptionist and a prompt and efficient technician. After less than 24 hours, all is well, I am cooling down nicely, and this company has my highest praise.
Ever since this original appointment, I have maintained a contract with this company to do a full inspection of my heating and cooling system twice a year. Each of the technicians who did the inspection was very thorough, clearly competent and definitely not out to have me buy something that I didn't want or feel I needed. All options were always thoroughly explained. The past three inspections were performed by Eric Rentz who I've been requesting when I make my appointments. He explains things so thoroughly, answers any questions I may have and does not cut any corners in examining and cleaning all the necessary parts of my system. I will continue to recommend this company for all aspects of heating and cooling maintenance and repair. Calls to the office are handled efficiently and very politely, appointments are confirmed appropriately, and technicians arrive when scheduled in a very reasonable two hour window. It is definitely a pleasure to deal with such a reliable company.
We've been D&N customers since 2013. Always friendly and helpful. But more importantly really good about showing up on time. And very respectful of time.
Yesterday's visit to inspect our A/C was dome by Brandon who (as promised) called when he was on his way. Quick and efficient. He was in/out after having inspected and tune-up both A/C units in about 30 minutes.
Their prices seem a little high by Valley standards but their promptness and respect for my time are appreciated.

They are a great company! Really easy to work with with very reasonable pricing.
When we renovated my home we used them to provide and install a new split system unit and run new ductwork which they did without any issues or any hidden costs. Then a few years later the other unit on our home (which was 20+ years old) stopped working, they came and installed a new unit that was perfect for about a year and half when it just wasn't cooling as well as it previously did. After a short phone call they got a tech scheduled still under warranty to get the unit running perfectly again.

I was using Parker and Sons for our AC maintenance. Every time the tech arrived, he started with let's talk about your AC. He was really salesy and pushy to the point it made me uncomfortable (how do I get rid of him?). Talking and talking and talking about why we absolutely need a new AC. Not working much. I could not take it anymore and stopped calling them.
A few months back, we stopped by Lowes and there was a rep for Day and Night. Our AC was still working but was 15 years old, so could die anytime especially at the worse time. We thought it would be a good idea to change it before the summer. The rep was nice and helpful. So we asked for an in-home estimate. Plus buying via Lowes gave us the military discount which is a significant saving.
We have been very happy with Day and Night as well as Lowes. From the estimate to the installation and the follow up visits, every one has been friendly, helpful and professional. There was a bit of an unexpected problem during the installation and they managed it very well without charging us extra. We are very happy with our new AC. To be honest, I do not see much difference on the bill. But this is because APS gouges us with taxes, surtaxes and fees. The energy production has very little impact on our total due.
We keep the same temperature as before but are overall much more comfortable in our house because the air is circulating better. And the peace of mind of not having our AC breaks down on the 4th July week-end is priceless.
To conclude, and from the experience I had so far, I would recommend Day and Night.

Great response time! I noticed my water heater was leaking badly at 1 on a Friday afternoon. They were able to get me an appt. set between 4-7...okay, more towels it is to hold back the water.
The plumber, Mike, called me about 1/2 hour later and said he was on his way and he was here about 2. He was nice and confirmed the tank leak from below. He then got me some prices (yep, there goes my rainy day fund). This cost me more than it 6 years ago but I guess that's to be expected and I didn't really want to waste too much time shopping around while water leaked into my walls.
He drained and removed the old heater and went to get the new one. He did some upgrades as well by adding a new drain pan (we didn't have one before), and the plumbing too so it's more clean and organized piping. He gave me some maintenance tips to help keep this one running for 10 years (we'll see if I actually do it this time).
A side note is the Mike has plumbers hands meaning they are dirty and grimy and his dings is scraps from the day are taped up with regular old black tape. I like this feature on a plumber; it means they actually work and fix things instead of always trying to just sell you what you may not really need.
Kudos for a job well done. Looking forward to a hot shower in 1 hour.
Hired plumber to repair ring around toilet flange. Plumber upcharged 300 bucks for what amounted to a 20 minute' job' (citing 'flat rate' pay structure), and proceeded to completely fuck everything up. At length, I finally got them to admit the first mistake and they offered to come out and 'fix' it but when I pressed about the details of the proposed fix, I found that they were AGAIN not going to do the actual correct repair (there were going to repeatedly let the flange float on air and just 'hope' that the toilet wouldn't wobble or come up). I even asked them if they would consider doing the repair the correct way so that the flange would be properly attached to the ground, and the guy scoffed at the idea -- he said There's no way I'm going to have my guy come out and mess with concrete. Can you believe that? Seems like a convenient way for naive customers to call them back within a year and get upcharged again for their own shitty first repair after they've inhaled enough sewer fumes to make them ill. I would never (repeat, __NEVER__) hire again, and I urge you to heed my warning in spite of their fluffed yelp ratings. Those of you who think you had a good experience with their plumbers - I would double check the work that was actually done, because I almost got scammed BIG-TIME. Negative one, out of five stars. Whatever it is you were going to call them about, good luck finding better help because I had to fix this mess myself.
I had to tear out their botched toilet flange repair kit, fill in Quickcrete, drill into the dried concrete, and install the flange repair correctly bolting down with Tapcon screws. All this after wasting a bunch of time with these dickheads because they refused to do it right. Guess what? We're talking about the guys who have four and a half stars on Yelp! If this was the best out there, I figured there's no way I can find good help around here and decided to fix it myself when I finally had the time.
Here's the silver lining -- after fighting with them on the phone several times, I was finally able to get my money refunded for their repeated blunders. It's a Christmas miracle! Still doesn't change the fact that these idiots claim 25 years of experience who couldn't do a simple toilet flange fix. If you know something hasn't been done right, don't let these clowns bully you into thinking you're stupid and don't know better, flaunting their so called 'experience'. Experience is dogshit if you've been doing things the wrong way for decades.

I know that if I have a question or issue with past service (which I haven't) they will stand behind their service 100% and truly care about the customer. If you need plumbing work done, make sure to ask for Michael Probst. I can honestly say that he does outstanding work every time I have dealt with him. My air conditioner died late yesterday. I was referred to Day & Night by my Coldwell Banker realtor. I called the emergency # and was told I would receive a call back with in 10 minutes. I do not remember the very nice and efficient woman who returned my call with in the 10 minute window, but she explained every question I had and was very professional and knowledgeable
I agreed to a service call today between 10-2, but was told if at all possible they would get here sooner.
Rene the technician assigned to me called @ 830 and was at my house by 9. I explained the situation and after a very time Rene informed me there was nothing really wrong that needed fixing so I was only charged the $59 service all. He also provided me with some information about other products they provide and his recommendations. NO PRESSURE TO BUY anything I could not afford. Would definitely call them again, but hope I don't have too.
Great service.
I needed a new thermostat installed. I was able to get same day service, exactly on time, and the technician was thorough, polite, and showed me everything I need to know.
The price was great too.
I'm really thankful for the help.

They set me up for an appointment the next morning (Saturday) and was great at communicating where the technician was and what time he arrived. On Sunday our water heater burst. I called Day and Night since we had used them before for plumbing/gas lines. Justin came out first thing Monday morning and gave us a couple of quotes on a new hot water heater and a tankless system. We decided to go with the tankless system. Justin and his assistant, Ignacio, showed up first thing Tuesday morning...prompt and ready to go. They installed the system and cleaned up some extra pipe work and left our house much better than they found it. They were extremely professional, friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and we feel so lucky to have chosen the right company to meet our needs. They also will be servicing our R/O system, our water softener and soon, our A/C. Although we hope nothing breaks (for a while), we have the comfort and confidence of knowing who to call. Everyone we dealt with was absolutely THE BEST!!! Thank you everyone at Day & Night for being so great to your customers!!
I have to say I am very impressed by Day & Night Air Conditioning. From Mike my salesperson to the guys who did all the work to the girls in the office...everyone was very nice and professional. After getting several estimates my husband and I decided to go with Day & Night...they had the best price for what we were looking for in an air conditioner/heat pump. We called them on Monday morning and they were there on Tuesday morning to install our new unit. They were very efficient and tidy. After the installation they even helped me program the thermostat and answered any questions I had and called to check on everything the next day. I will definitely call Day & Night with my home heating and cooling needs.
This used to be my go-to plumber for my business, but it seems like their pricing has skyrocketed for no real reason. Example: We had a mop sink that was backed up. They were fast to respond and help us out. The cost? $200 for a guy to stick a wire in the drain and pull out a rag. Maybe I'm unrealistic, which is entirely possible, but I can't rationalize that cost under any circumstances. I have many other trades that work on my business that do highly skilled work and charge fair prices. For example, when my AC was leaking from a backed up drain pan, my AC company charged me $100 for over an hour of work. The rag in the drain took 5 minutes. I don't get it.

I was given a 12-4 appointment and they never showed or called. When I made the appt I told them it was a serious issue that the problem with the air circulation could cause carbon monoxide in the home besides some other issues. I don't know how the company is rated so high. I rate them zero stars if I could.
Our 1997 A/C unit went out just at the end of summer when the high's were only getting to just over 100. We fixed our unit last year when it went out, so we decided it was time to replace the unit all together.
Consulting/Quotes: We received three quotes from the three major A/C companies in the Valley, and Day & Night were by far the best to work with. Our Comfort Consultant, Mike, was terrific in his job. He was calm, polite, no-pressure kind of demeanor, and really put us at ease to make a decision. He didn't try to oversell his company, their service or their products, but simply put what they could provide and all that would be included, with no catches or gimmicks. Mike truly went above and beyond with his quality of service and completed slayed the consulting process.
Installation: Holy cow were they johnny on the spot! They were supposed to start at 8am on a Friday morning, but instead started 30 minutes early!! All of the installation technicians (Josh, Aaron and Willy) were kind and dressed nicely in a Day & Night outfit. They worked well as a team and we even heard one say to another, If it's just good enough, it's not good enough. It has to be fantastic. The team was super efficient and the crane that came out to remove/replace the A/C unit took 15mins, it was here and gone within 30mins! The new thermostat was set up and ensured proper operation and the crew took care of our home throughout the install.
Overall, I am thus far super happy with our choice to go with Day & Night and I would highly recommend using their service. They also offer a referral program, so if you're in the market and can spare a message, message me directly so we can both get a referral bonus!

Ron was able to come out the same day we called, and he was really great; helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The problem was fixed within an hour, and we had air again.
Amazing. I had been researching the best company to come out and check our house. We ended up needing emergency service when our bathroom flooded over the weekend. The tech (i believe James was his name) was great. Thankfully he was able to show up before the estimated arrival time. He did a great job fixing the issue. He was also very polite and was able to answer all my questions and explained his recommendations on what else needs fixing. I will definitely be calling and scheduling them to come back to address his recommendations and make sure everything else is in good working condition.
I had an appointment for 3-5. They stated that they called my cell phone several times which was not true. Now they cannot show up at all. Typical of this industry, I had hoped the good reviews online and the Crookers remix of Kid Cudi would make these guys a winning combination. No show, and lying about contacting me is bad business. They did verify my cell phone number was correct so that was not taken incorrectly.

Had Day & Night come out to my house and give me an estimate on a new AC system.
First off, the guy was really nice. Great guy.
I'd already had 2 other companies come out and estimate the same job with the exact same system.
Both of the other companies are 4 and 5 star Yelp reviewed and you've seen their commercials on TV.
One came in at $6,500 and the other $7,000.
Day & Night came in at $9,500 (even with $1,000 of so-called discounts). The other 2 didn't try to use discounts. Just a straight up price.
Again, exact same AC system, same install.
I wrote a pretty thorough, lengthy reply to the sales guy with all of the pricing and details of the other estimates letting him know that they were too high and that I couldn't fathom why they would be that much higher and that I would be going with one of the others. I was just being nice and letting him know the market. I mean if 2 of 3 well reviewed companies are in the ballpark and you're out in the bleachers, chances are you may be wrong.
No reply from them saying thanks for the feedback or an attempt to explain the huge difference.
Honestly, I don't know that a reply would have changed my mind, but at least an attempt to explain would have been interesting to read.
Nice guy, very knowledgeable but the estimate was awful. They may have been phenomenal at installing, but I'll never know. Whatever pricing Day & Night is following, it's hurting nice sales guys.
This is a textbook lesson to ALWAYS GET MULTIPLE QUOTES.
I'm having my AC installed next week and I'll review that company afterwards.

Excellent service and quality. We replaced both furnaces and condensing units in our home. Very happy with the install and overwhelmed that after 6 months we received a complete service and cleaning to make sure every part of the install was first class. Antonio our tech was top notch.
We purchased our new central air/furnace thru Lowes and Day & Night did the installation. Great service from Mike the rep for the company. Ronnie the tech guy was here today to do a check & adjustment on everything. He spent a lot of time doing his job, found a few things that needed to be taken care of and explain all the functions and helped set up our phone so we can remotely check and change our temp while we are gone somewhere. This company continues to impress me. My A/C died in late November. If I wasn't living in Arizona, this wouldn't have been a problem, but it was still in the high 80s/low 90s so getting the A/C fixed was something of a priority. Day & Night sent Kyle to come out and investigate. He determined that there was a coolant leak, but he advised that the entire A/C unit would need to be replaced. He said that another associate would arrive soon to discuss options and financing. Within just a couple of hours, Corey showed up, took measurements of our house and checked out the outdoor unit and the unit in the attic. He then went over what products would be best for us based on the size of our home and then went over how much it would be to finance the removal of the old A/C unit and installation of the new one. A few days later, Johnny, Aaron, and Michael showed up first thing as promised. They completed the work in about 7 hours. In the process, we also got a nice new thermostat with a touch screen and Wi-Fi capabilities that allow us to adjust it using our phones! A few days after that, Ronnie showed up to do a final walk-through quality-control inspection. Everybody was real polite and a pleasure to do business with. I recommend this company to everyone.

This is the second time we used Day & Night to install A/C units. This time they replaced my (3) aging units on top of my home using a crane. They use top of the line Trane products. Everything went smooth. The one hicup of a rattling was repaired in a timely and efficient manner. The units run smooth and as quiet as a mouse. The price was super reasonable and I just got a $600 rebate. They were polite and respectful of my home. I highly recommend Day and nite for A/C services!

Customer service was good, but the way they charge is way off. They charge $60 to come and give a quote, if you go with them the $60 is used towards the work. This review is on the quote. I just wanted a new sink hooked up. We purchased the faucet just need them to hook it up along with the drain. Estimate came back around $650. Way more than the sink and faucet costs. All that was needed are cheap PVC pipes. Shouldn't take a good plumber longer than an hour to hook up a sink. Way over priced!! I feel they provide a high Quote just to get $60 without doing any work.
I called a different company that is coming out free of charge to provide a quote.
After researching many local a/c companies to determine who I should trust with the replacement of my home HVAC system, I am happy that I went with Day & Night. The entire process was low pressure, yet very informative and transparent. The installation team was very professional and worked diligently throughout the day to complete the process. I will be recommending this company to all my family & friends for their a/c needs.
Day & Night were fantastic. Ron called on his way over, he was super friendly, he tolerated my dozens of questions, fixed my furnace, and helped me upgrade my thermostat. Hire this man. Ask him questions. He is a wealth of knowledge about HVAC. This place is 24 hours and rock solid. Super trustworthy.
After 3 visits, 2 missed appointments, and 11 days without heat, we abandoned our landlord's contractor and called Day & Night. Kyle was at our place within an hour and quickly identified the problem. He was courteous, patient, and friendly. They guys won't disappoint you!

I'm still,waiting on a credit since the hot water heater I purchased for $1,500 the hook up was bad and gas was left on. I woke up to the smell of GAS had to call a SW gas emergency truck out.Service man also did not give me a new line and No tape.
Been a couple of weeks now with 3 phone calls ...Owner said he would credit my cc

Day & Night AC performed the replacement of my second AC unit for my home last week and I am pleased to report the experience was top notch just like the service I received in July last year. The crew did a great job on the installation and quality of the work done is second to none. The pictures of furnace and coil in the attic look like a work of art...clean, efficient, and well planned for long-term performance. As mentioned in my original post, you can find contractors that will be lower priced but I sincerely doubt you will find many that will install your system for long-term, trouble free performance. If efficiency and reliability are important to you at competitive price, then I would recommend Day & Night.

Day and Night is wonderful to work with. They service are AC and heating twice a year and anytime we have AC emergency they come right out to assist within a few hours of our call.

My ac went out at 11pm on Wednesday night. I called and was told that the earliest they could come out was by noon the next day but they would call at 8am to confirm. At 8:05 they called and told me Rickey would be at home home around 10:30am. He showed up right on time, brought the necessary equipment, took his time diagnosing the problem, and explained to me exactly what was wrong. Before he left he took even more time to check the outside unit and found a blown capacitor and also the need for 4lbs of Freon. I had another company show up right before Rickey and the tech completely missed the blown capacitor and the need for Freon. Rickey told me had he not checked the outside unit the condenser would have gone out in the near future and would have cost me 4k. I definitely highly recommend Day and Night and especially Rickey who certainly went above and beyond to fix my ac problems. The other company told me it would be the next day before they could get the part and fix it. However, Rickey located the part, drove to get it, and was back within an hour. He had our air fixed by 2pm and we couldn't have been happier! Great job by both Day and Night and Rickey for all of their help and excellent service!! Thank you.
I have used Day and night a couple of time before this last time. I received a quote for two jobs ie; replace outside leaking faucet and replace a mohen cartridge on a shower. He (Josh) gave me a quote that I thought was high but within my budget so I agreed to the repairs. He replaced the faucet in about 5 minutes and then went to the shower. After fiddling around with channel locks for a few, he stated that cartridge was too corroded to be replaced that we should open the wall and replace the valves increasing the quote from $250 to $1350. He said that it would have to be scheduled for another day due to timing. He never even pulled out the cartridge removing tool or even truly tried to removed it. He then charged me more (about $75) than the original price that we had agreed on for the outside faucet due to not having 2 repairs on the same visit and scheduled the shower 2 days out. I had another company come out and he was able to change the cartridge in about 10 minutes and charged me about half as much as Josh had originally quoted me.
This was nothing more than him trying to upsell me unnecessarily in order to pad his own pockets. He didn't even try to replace it and tried to sucker me. He also screwed me by increasing the price faucet replacement price due to him having to reschedule the second repair.
I called 4/22 to get someone to come and check my mini split unit in my studio. My dad wanted to be here because he wanted to know what was wrong, so I asked that they come Thurs 4/23 after 3pm so he can be here. They told me they would call me back with a time to confirm and that they needed to speak with my sister who is the home owner. Neither one of us ever got a call back. I received a text that said my appointment was scheduled for 4/23 but no time was indicated. I call back Thursday morning and was told that I asked they come after 3pm which I responded yes but no one ever confirmed my appointment. She then told me to expect someone from 4:30-6:30. My boyfriend was here instead, and Jorge came to the house that afternoon. He was wonderful with us and told us he needed to order a part and that they would call us the next day to give an update. When I got my invoice that night for the $59 service fee it said that the fee was only waived if repairs were done the same day, but I was never told that. When I originally called the lady on the phone said the fee goes towards the repairs. I call Friday afternoon after not hearing from anyone to get an update and they said they were working on getting the parts and that they should've told me the fee went towards same day repairs only. They said they would call me back to see if there was anything they could do. It is now Monday morning and I just got off the phone with them not too long ago. I asked AGAIN for an update on the parts. I was told they would do research and give me a call back. At this point I still have no clue how much it's going to be for them to come and repair. I've seen other reviews that say the charge for them has been $400/hr which is way more than I would expect to pay to replace a sensor, but you never know. I asked that I also please get an estimated quote for the repair and the lady responded so you want an update on the part AND a quote, well yes I have no idea how much I'm going to be charged and it's going to be over 100 degrees this week so I need this done soon. She told me to expect a call by the end of the day since I've been without AC for a while...now I know I'm not the only customer, but temperatures get ridiculously hot here in AZ to have to wait at least another day before I get an update. I would expect better customer service. My boyfriend is asking me to research other companies as well to see if we can get this AC fixed ASAP because I'm 6 months pregnant and this heat is no joke.

Our a/c started blowing hot air on Thursday afternoon. A relative of mine in Tucson referred us to Day & Night Air Conditioning. We called them Friday morning. An appt was scheduled for Friday afternoon between 1 & 4. The Tech called about 10:30 to see if he could come early. Antonio got to our house around 11 am. He inspected the roof mounted unit and advised us of what he found. He gave us options and advised of pricing. We agreed with his suggestion and he did the repairs. By 1 pm on Friday, we had cold air coming out of our vents.
Thank you Day & Night A/C. The office staff is nice and Antonio did an excellent job!
DO NOT LET THEM INTO YOUR HOME! One of their installers stepped on an overhead fire sprinkler in the attic flooding our home. We had to move out for months to repair all of the damage. The company was reasonable with us following the accident but their insurance company REFUSES to pay. Their insurance carrier told me that I had to go through my insurance as they can't pay up front for claims of that size (over $50,000 worth of damage) and that they would then reimburse my insurance company. Well fast forward 1 year and my insurance company is having to file a lawsuit against theirs to get reimbursed. I'm out my $1,000 deductible and my rates have increased 50% and on top of it all I may need to testify in court. Decent company but they are essentially uninsured so if anything happens in your home, you are screwed!

I messaged Day and Night when my ac stopped blowing cold air. They responded within the hour and said they had availability the next morning. I emailed them to confirm and they called to re confirm with me a couple hours later. My technician was Kasey and he was knowledgeable and worked quickly. He diagnosed the problem and fixed my unit in less than two hours and charged a reasonable price. He even waived the trip fee since I needed a new part. Overall the experience was professional and easy. I would definitely recommend them to anyone!
We purchased our AC unit from Day & Night , and have used their annual maintenance service for years.....that's one reason why we see their techs twice a year , while some of our neighbors need more frequent service calls.....very pleased w / D&N's professionalism.....
Called for a service check because I had a excessively high electric bill last month. Ricky, the technician who came and looked at my unit told me it needed to be cleaned out. I was relieved the hear there wasn't anything more that needed to be done. He was very personable and knowledgeable of my train system, etc. I ended up getting the service package where they come out 2x a year. Money well spent knowing I'm taking care of my unit.
I have used a lot of AC companies but this one tops them all. Of course AC quits on Friday afternoon and 94 outside... I called and got a 10-2 window and they showed up at 11:30. Phil was a great and courteous tech in a new shiny truck. He found the problem and fixed in an hour. Will use them again. $315 for the service call no parts needed was not cheap but what can you do.

I had Day & Night come out to assess our AC when it went out for the fifth time in 2 years. After the warranty company kept trying to fix it over a week, I called Day & Night and they were very quick to get an estimate as well as get it installed within days. Over the past 2 years there were several small issues with our brand new Trane AC, installed by Day & Night. After the fourth time the unit broke down, Day & Night replaced the entire unit. I am not pleased that the new unit broke down so many times, but Day & Night had exceptional customer service in honoring their new unit and repairs.

Rang up this lovely company while troubleshooting a vile issue with my bathroom air vent. Although they do not address bugs (Yes. I said bugs.) in air ducts they cheerfully provided a reference for a company that does.
I very much appreciated how carefully they listened to my concerns. (I have many. The horror. You have no idea.) In addition to the reference the wonderful woman provided some interim tips. Given how polite, thoughtful and helpful they were for something outside their domain I would 100% ring again.
Hopefully my a/c won't crap out in the heat. BUT if it does I know who to call!

Wouldn't use anyone else. We have a Plumbing and Heating/AC maintenance plans with them. Josh Perry is awesome for plumbing needs.
I've had them install a duel duct system for me in masterbedroom. That went decently smoothly but took them all day. (It was in the summer though) They had to modify some things to make the install easier, which I wish they just would have gone a different and more permanent solution from the start. Because of their modified work, I had to get them back to do it how it should have been. Which was annoying but ok because I still had a year warranty and they did the work for free but had it not had happen till, after that, this would probably be a bit different of a review. I'd say they are quick to help with solutions to current problems, but I'm very positive they've tried to get me to take unnecessary repairs or fixed the wrong thing on my unit, to only come back again and find out what really happened and needed fixing. Plus side is that the techs are nice and I think they do try to make it an overall good experience but some actions as explained earlier have tainted my view and overall experience with the company. Overall Ok. I'd recommend if you need something done asap. They can come and service you relatively quickly.
Great company you can trust. From the very first call to installation of our new heat pump, everything was handled with exceptional care. The most amazing part is I now know everyone by name - Brian took care with his estimate & stopped by during the install, Michele got me all sorts of info & had me talk to Jason who answered all my questions about their service plans ... and John & Jesus were a great install team, answering all my questions so I could write a blog post about the install.
They sent a technician out in less than 3 hours and he did a fantastic job! I'm very pleased with the work he did and the service i received. Thank you Rene you are some kind of wonderful!
Day & Night installed two Trane heat pumps at my house 7 years ago to replace the Carrier junk put it by Shea homes. Since then had two minor repairs done and annual service. The installs were painless and perfect, service was one-call, no issues. They are definitely a customer service oriented outfit. I would recommend them to anyone looking for QUALITY cooling and heating equipment.

Best word to describe these guys is, professional. Called them just a few hours after I found out my AC unit had stopped working. They were able to show up earlier than expected AND called to let me know. Once they assessed the issue they took the time to explain what needed to be done and made sure only necessary repairs were made as I'm currently paying off some plumbing work. They even fixed a part of my fencing that had fallen down next to the AC unit!!! I won't be dealing with anyone else for my AC and heating needs and am super impressed this company!

I chose this company due to its rating here, but unfortunately I'm left a bit disappointed. I'd scheduled an escrow inspection of the A/C unit at the house we wanted to purchase. This was an item that I had a very small window of time to get completed in. The appointment was scheduled for 8-12 the next day, and I passed on the information to the realtor. Fast forward to 4:00, and I hadn't heard anything from the technician or the realtor, nor had I seen any reports. Figured I would give a call to make sure things had gone okay. After some hemming and hawing on the other side of the line, I find out that the tech HADN'T EVEN GONE to do the inspection. While they were apologetic, and set up another appointment for the next day, I was definitely frustrated and disappointed--with this delay, and the 4th of July holiday, it put even more pressure on my wife and I to cram our negotiations into a smaller space of time.
Purchased and installed a new water softener by Michael Probst.and Day & Night. Good job, pleasant experience, fair price, no over the top sales pitches. Very pleased.

I can't say enough good things about Day & Night Air (especially their service technician Kevin K). I arrived home from a work trip Sunday evening to find my AC only blowing warm air. Newer to Phoenix and very pleased with their prompt responsive service. First trip they serviced our older furnace / AC and got it in tip-top shape. Signed up for Gold service on second roof top unit for fall / spring tune ups. Eric is very friendly and took time to answer questions.
The tech., Phillip, from Day & Night Air Conditioning was excellent. He was very knowledgeable and respectful. There was an unknown rattling sound throughout our vents. He discovered the problem and even found other issues needing service, that were outside the scope of this service call.
I ALWAYS know I am going to get great service and information about what Day and Night is working on at my house! They have serviced, repaired and upgraded many things for me and they do a GREAT job. Recently Josh came out to replace our hot water heater, he also checked out our soft water system and our recirculating hot water unit and he did a phenomenal job with all of our issues! He left my garage cleaner than what it was before he came! Day and Night is at the forefront of customer service (much like Nordstrom's) and without a doubt I know that my home is in good hands with them!!!!
I'm an office manager who found Day & Night's commercial department after reviewing and comparing our previous vendor's pricing and realized my company was overspending not only on basic services like filter changes and seasonal maintenance, but also on HVAC replacement as well. I didn't just shop around for low pricing though - I searched thoroughly on Angie's List, Yelp, BBB and several other review sites to make sure the company I partnered with was well reviewed and handled complaints professionally. Day & Night is clearly a well run and respected company that offers competitive pricing as well, according to my research.
After Day & Night started servicing my buildings it also became apparent that some shoddy work had been done and I was being quoted for unnecessary work by that previous vendor. This was shown to me in person and clearly explained by Day & Night's people - which in and of itself is a reason I recommend their commercial department to businesses.
The only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars is because the contract process took pretty long to sort out - commercial service contracts are paid in full at the start of service and that required my company to work out a termination clause. I think that now we got that sorted out I'm very happy, but I can see how someone less patient would balk at that process.
Overall - Henry and Rob have been very helpful, friendly, and easy to work with, and I've saved my employer several thousand dollars a year by switching to them. If you're considering an HVAC vendor/servicer, you'd be wise to add them to your list.
Initially was told that changing two drain pans will cost 757.97. On the day of repair changed only one, and still charged, 672.97. I am not satisfied with billing. Will not use this company again.
Staff is professional, courteous, and timely. The staff that answer the phone are very polite, the tech that came out arrived on time and called when we were his next stop.

This company is by far the best I've dealt with regarding my A/C system. I wished I would of contacted them first which would of saved me a lot of money. I had another company redo my duct work because of poor air flow out my vents. After the other company completed the work I still had poor air flow. I paid the other company 3k to do it and they never came back to re-evaluate the system. Well during the summer my A/C unit stopped working. I called Day and Night and they came out right away. They said my unit over heated and shut itself off. The reason why it over heated is because my duct work and return line was under sized for my A/C which was supposed to be fixed by the other company I paid. Peter from Day and Night came out and evaluated every aspect of my system. He took good notes and told me what needed to be done. It sucks that I had to pay another 3k to get it done but they did it right like it was supposed to be. The two technicians that came out, Kevin and Johnny did an amazing job!! They were very polite, detailed oriented, cleaned up any mess/dust that was made, very knowledgeable and experienced with the work they were doing. I am so happy with this company and I wish I could give them more than 5 stars because they deserve it. I highly recommend this company. The difference is truly Day and Night with this company!!!
Called them to take over a job that another company had dropped the ball in terms of scheduling; D and N said they were glad to help and were going to come within a few hours and not charge extra for this last minute call/emergency.
However, I gave my first company another chance after the owner offered to come to fix my A/C unit himself right away; I really appreciate this company offering to step up in such a quick manner, and I will def. use them for future plumbing issues.

We had a tech come out to check on the noises coming from our furnace/AC unit. It was the fan which would be $800 to replace plus a $59 service charge. We discussed having someone look at a whole new system & we work 12 hours a day during the week. . We cancelled our plans to get the next available appointment only to be told that they had to cancel the appointment because one of their comfort consultants had to go out of town & the other had other commitments. Now to update - they called back and had someone over to discuss the system with us THAT DAY. They showed that they really do want the business and care about their customers. Thank you.
After a previous plumbing nightmare with a different local plumbing company, I did my research and came across Day & Night! I was in need of a professional to remove a toilet and vanity from my guest bathroom in preparation for a floor tiling project. I needed to then have the plumber come back and reinstall after the tile was complete. SO GLAD I MADE THAT CALL!!!! Amazing customer service (Thank you Michelle!) and great work by the technician (shout out to Troy) !!!!! I was beyond impressed with the timely updates and communication, and with how effortless the whole process was! I am thrilled that I now have a new and trusted plumber to call if the future. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that I feel like the price was a little high for what I needed done.......but I guess you do pay for what you get! I can't say enough about the professionalism of this company. I've lived in the Valley for 24 years. I've dealt with many types of service people and by far Day & Night has been the most satisfying. It's probably time to change the name of the business. I called at 5:00 p.m. when our AC went out while we were at work and they offered to help...tomorrow. It's Phoenix in June and that's not really an option. I called another company that advertises--and actually offers--emergency service.

My A/C unit went out this summer on a Sunday in August. This sounds like the start to a bad trashy novel, but alas, just a repair story.
I spent Sunday calling around a couple big name repair companies but couldn't get anyone out for a few days. I settled for moving my kids into one room and buying a stand alone air conditioner to survive. That neither here nor there about the service situation. Just meat for the stew story.
So Monday comes big name company A, That unit's 30 years old 'mam. Needs to be replaced. $9000 'Mam. And it'll be about two weeks to get the unit ordered and installed. If the price tag was the slash with the razor, the two week wait was the salt and lemon juice and acid and extra slicing to the wound. By the time I got to the D section of the phone book (figuratively), it was Tuesday. The Day and Night repairman entered the house, climbed on the roof, clinked around. Nothing different than the rest of the service people. HOWEVER, when he came down he elaborated that the blower was shot, the unit needed to be replaced (30 years old, rusty, blah, blah) and it would be $5000 and take 1 week. In the meantime, he would install a loaner blower, at no charge.
The blower was fixed, the new unit was installed and the house was livable again, all in 1 week.

Justin did a great job replacing the shower valve in my guest bathroom today. But this is not the first time he's been here, just the first time I've written a Yelp review for Day & Night. He was also here last month to replace the shutoff valve on my water heater, and in July to replace the RO faucet in my kitchen. He did such a good job with the RO faucet that now I always ask for him when I call Day & Night. I'm not looking forward to my next plumbing problem, but when it happens I know who I'll call.
The handle to my tub broke off at 9pm and water was spewing everywhere. I was in a tizzy and called a ton of places to get it fixed. Everywhere I called said they'd get back to me right away. I ended up shutting off the water to the entire house and no one got back to me at all that night. I woke up at 6a extremely stressed and called a few more places including Day & Night. Day & night was the only company that followed up and got Michael(our family's very own super hero) out to get it fixed. Michael was knowledgable, hardworking, reassuring and walked me through each step. He got me a great deal and is following up to make sure we don't run into any other issues with our plumbing. I won't be using any other company for my plumbing needs. This was great service from beginning to end. P.S. my very curious 8 yr old son stayed with him nearly the whole time asking a ton of questions and Michael was so kind and patient. My son believes they are best friends now lol. Thank you Michael and D&N for a great experience and for turning a really stressful situation into such a positive interaction!

Highly recommend! One of our AC units went out yesterday, just as it is finally starting to cool off. We had the company that has serviced us in the past come out late yesterday and they told us that we needed to replace the unit, to the tune of over $10,000. We called Day & Night for a second opinion and thank goodness we did! Kevin came out today and was able to get the system working for less than $400! Much better way to be heading into the weekend!
We use Day & Night for both a/c and plumbing needs. Rene was our a/c rep. and he was excellent--serviced both of our units and replaced needed parts so we hope/expect to have several more years with our current units. Just yesterday, Troy came out for our plumbing need. He was also excellent - repaired our hot water heater at a reasonable cost. He was very neat, professional, knowledgeable, kept us informed as to what was the problem, etc. We moved to Scottsdale from Michigan two years ago. My brother-in-law in Scottsdale (30 year resident) recommended Day & Night for a/c. I recommend Day & Night for both a/c and plumbing.
I've had nothing but great service from Day and Night. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and personable.
Jeff came out today for a whole home plumbing inspection. He took the time to explain everything he was doing and even gave us a few tips and suggestions in between. He checked our water heater which is now 7 years old and past its warranty. He examined the tubing that's attached only to find part of it was melting. Good thing he checked....he said that it could be giving off carbon monoxide (eek!)
Needless to say, they'll be coming out early next week to replace our water heater. Thanks to Jeff for finding all these little problems (which could very easily turn in to bigger problems). Did I also mention he found some issues with our irrigation system? Problems (aka violations) that our home inspector missed?
Honest company and employees (many of whom are veterans). FYI, if you are a member of Angie's List, you get some MAJOR discounts. I got over $200 off my new water heater.

I have been using Day & Night for years and even replaced my A/C unit on my old house. Now that I have a new house, I wouldn't think of calling anybody else. They came out and checked over my 15 year old units on my new house to let me know what I have, how it's working and if it's efficient. They found a couple small things to repair for me (which I already knew) and gave me a full report of my systems. I will definitely call Day & Night when it's time to upgrade my systems! Phillip did an awesome job explaining everything and always respected my house enough to wear protection over their shoes while in the house. Great job guys!!

My AC took a beating in the hail storm last night and I wanted someone to come take a look and make sure everything was ok. I called and Eric R was out within the hour. Talk about fast service! Eric was very thorough and took the time after to explain to me everything he did to test the unit to verify it was in good working condition and didn't need any repair. My heating went out and so I gave these guys a call. The yelp reviews seemed good, but they didn't have an appointment for 3 days away. Bought a little heater at Walgreens and toughed it out. Come my appointment time, no one showed up. Called the office, line was busy? Got someone else to come same day. Maria from the office called me 5 hours after my appointment to apologize. Nice of her, but a little late.

Just had Day & Night come out and repair my dead unit. I noticed it was not working as of midnight last night. I called George Brazil, Goettl and Day & Night, and they were the only company that could come out today/this weekend. I'm extremely impressed with their ability to get me on the schedule, get my unit diagnosed and repaired all within 12 hours of me identifying the failure. And I wasn't even an existing customer.
They replaced a set of fuses and two bad capacitors. I also signed up for their Gold plan on both of my units, especially since it comes with a free capacitor yearly.
Nick performed the repair and I couldn't be happier with his promptness, courteousness and knowledge of the system. Having shopped around in the past for HVAC repair companies, I'm completely satisfied signing on with Day & Night for the foreseeable future.

Outstanding Company, Communications, Caring.
Our Water Softener Broke sending the small risen beads throughout the home's plumbing; clogging every sink, shower head, toilet and Hot Water Tank. That shut down our entire water pressure throughout the house. I called some of the big TV names but people like Melvin said I needed to wait over a day before someone can get to me.
I called Day & Night based on a neighbors recommendation. They had someone out to the house within about 90 minutes and this was at 5:45 PM. The individual immediate greeted himself, but on protective shoe covering and started to clean out the sinks, showers, toilets... everywhere water flows out of. The next day company sent out two people. One to flush the system lines again, the other to install a new water softener.
Every who came through our home was clean, courteous, caring about our needs. The price was inline with what some of the major advertised business would charge.

Called Day and Night to go to my tenants broken AC. They took my credit card number at the time of the call which I had assumed that they would diagnose and repair the issue.
When the repair man arrived, he called me to get approval to fix the unit. I was in the middle of a meeting at the time so I didn't get the call. I called the repair man back about 30 minutes later but he had already left the unit. Unfortunately I didn't realize that he was going to go by and just give an estimate. Not fix the issue. If that was the case, a call from the company or the repair man, BEFORE they got to the unit would have been appreciated because I didn't want to miss my opportunity to get my tenants ac fixed.
He offered to come back the next morning so my tenants were out of ac that evening during the hottest day in the AZ.
I got a $266 bill for replacing a dual run capacitor. A unit which costs anywhere between $5-30. Plus a $89 service call fee So around $350 total.
I understand the service fee but I thought the $266 fee was a little excessive for a part that takes less than 15 minutes to replace.
The repair man seemed like a nice guy. I just think the pricing is a little high.

Having AC issues in the middle of a Phoenix summer is not pleasant. We were having issues with the AC for a month after moving into our new home. I called our normal AC guy but after three visits, he hadn't fixed our issues and I was started to take it out on my husband. I found D&N on Yelp, called that evening and had someone at my house the next morning. Willy did a great job and I couldn't be happier. AC is cold, it works, Willy was nice, professional, and thorough with his explanations. Thanks Day & Night!!!
Amazing!!!! My husband left for Afghanistan and gave me their info if anything happens with our air conditioning unit. Told me to ask for Willy Rodriguez.........I'm pregnant and it stopped working. I recently had a technician come by to look at my house. I had a leak in the hvac that went into the attic. I received scare tactics and was pressured into buying a maintenance plan or else pay $1600 for a simple fix. I don't know about you, but that seems awfully shady to do such a thing. I do not suggest this company one bit.
Called in the morning and had someone out by the afternoon. Willy Rodriguez showed up ready to rock and roll. He was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the maintenance he was performing and why. He also did a complete check if the system and gave me some good pointers on my home system. When big Will left the ol aircondition unit was humming like a bird. I recommend you ask for him when calling for service.
I was very pleased with my first preventative maintenance service with Day & Night. Technician (Kyle) was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. No high pressure upselling like many other A/C companies. Scheduling and timely communication with office personnel and Kyle were good. Definitely a great start and I will continue to do business with this company!
Day and Night were spectacular. Nubia (I hope I spelled it correctly) took my information when I called, was extremely pleasant and very efficient. Considering the ordeal I was dealing with and the lack of response from my home warranty company, she was the best medicine for lousy day. Alex the repair guy was on time, yes on time, very friendly, exemplary in his handling of my a/c problem. Took care of my problem, explained what it was and what to look for in the future. I would by pass my home warranty company for them any day.
I have had Day & Night out a few times for regular service, installing an Air Scrubber and also a repair. I have always been treated with kindness and respect. Everyone I have come in contact with have been courteous and very knowledgable. I can not recommend these guys enough. I will be renewing my service contract with them year after year if they continue to perform the way they have for me over the past year.

I have used Day & Night A/C service for many years.. I had them out to check the units & couldn't have been happier w/the service..I did need some extra service, but felt Rene did all he could to explain it to me & get it done as reasonably as possible.. He went beyond the call of duty as far as trimming a bush to get to the unit, (my bad!), & both units looked like new when he was finished.....I was totally pleased w/the service that was given to me today...
they called & were actually able to come a day early, which this time of the year is always nice...What is also nice, is someone coming in to do a job & you don't feel like they've done the bare minimum, charged you & are gone!! that was not the case today for sure....I do not hesitate to recommend Day & Night..L.M.
I have been a customer for 15 years. There have been several occasions that Day and Night did exceptional after hours service. I have had 2 recurring problems over the years that they have responded to without any hesitation to make things right. Technicians are always knowledgeable and polite. Appointments are kept and the servicemen are uniformed and clean and footies are worn. There is no mess when they leave. Also when the office sees the service man is running close to the end of the time frame, I get a courtesy call. Maria is usually the office person I deal with and she is great. Don't hesitate to call them and they have 24 hour service.
Showed up within a couple hours in 115° heat to fix my A/C. All we had to do was pay $900+ for a -$300 motor and we were good to go. Tech was professional and courteous.
I just finished getting a maintenance check performed by Manny with Day and Night. My wife and I have worked with their plumbing service several times before, and had such a good experience, we wanted to try out their ac service. I really enjoyed my experience with Manny, so much so, that we decided to purchase a maintenance agreement. Besides being very personal and professional in performing the maintenance check, he went well beyond the extra mile to provide me with VERY helpful education that will help my wife and I maintain our system (something I really appreciated about their plumbing service). I called Day & Night for a second opinion after Parker & Sons told me I needed a new compressor and/or an entire new AC unit after my 8 year old Trane stopped blowing cold air recently. Day & Night came out and repaired my unit for $480, vs. the 2,750 Parker & Sons wanted to charge me. Here are some comparisons of the quotes & info I got from both companies:

My service tech did a great job. He came when he said he would to estimate a water softener and water softener loop installation. Then, when it came time to do the installation, he was prompt, very professional and the work is the best I have ever seen. Further, the price that was quoted was what I paid. This couldn't have been easier. I have managed rental property and have lived in the valley since 2000. This is the by far the best plumbing experience I have ever had.
This was by far the best experience my family has ever received from a plumbing company in the valley. Our toilet line burst over night flooding our entire house and Day and Night sent Jeff O. out to our home within 20-30 minutes to help us. He quickly assessed our toilet and repaired it even faster. He was sympathetic to our situation and made a phone call for us to get the water damage assessed and the house dried out. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and we will be using Jeff for any and all future needs that we have!
They are great !! James is an excellent plumber and does a great job. They came out same day, called to let me know they were on their way, and fix ed the problem. I had to get a part for a kitchen faucet repair and I got them wrong one. James told me exactly what I needed and came back and finished the job when I got it. They are fairly priced and do an outstanding job. We would highly recommend them

What I thought was great service was nothing more than a company taking advantage of my lack of AC knowledge . The rep Ron told me that my defrost panel was defective and that's why my AC was blowing hot air , it wasn't allowing the capacitor to run to full capacity . Therefore I not only had to replace defrost panel but both capacitors as well . It was 4th of July weekend and hot as hell for myself and my indoor dogs . So I took his words seriously . I was told the total of his services . Inspection fee waived however because he did trouble shooting he would need to charge me $100. Plus for that . Also he offered some Gold plan which gave me a discount on one capacitor. This plan would require me to pay a monthly fee of $23 . With an upfront payment of $100 plus . Ugh I was frustrated at that point . I just wanted my ac fixed . So of course I agreed . Now , up to that point I wasn't aware of my warranty . So you guessed it is was taken to the bank !
Long story short . I got ahold of my warranty and I was told I shouldn't have paid for any parts . Day and Night manager Jason , told me all charges were for labor . Hmmm almost $200 a piece In labor for each capacitor ?? REALLY? Thank God I didn't let them replace my defrost panel ! Because I hired another Ac Repair company AC men . They told me my defrost panel was fine and that the reason my ac was blowing hot was because only one capacitor needed to be change. And that was typical of the capacitors age .
I feel like I was taken to the bank and then some by Day and Night . Buyer beware as they say .
I say beware of Day and Night ac Repair!!
I WILL MAKE SURE MYSELF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL NEVER USE DAY AND NIGHT AC REPAIR EVER AGAIN .

These guys are the best! Day & Night has serviced my AC for the last couple of years - Jason was my guy, until they promoted him to Service Manager (congrats). A few weeks ago, my main unit gave out and it was either invest in getting it fixed or spring for a new AC. Difficult decision. I called my guy Jason - he took the time to ran down the pros and cons and when I asked him straight up, he told me what he would do in my position. Best decision I made to get a new AC unit. I had to wait a week to get it in and installed, but I would do it all over again. This unit is smaller, more efficient and I upgraded my package to ensure it would be running extra quiet - I don't even hear it! Kinda wish I had replaced both units at the same time! Thank you Day & Night!
Showed up to my condo in the Phoenix area on Sunday morning to find my inside temperature to be 94 degrees. I had to open the doors, because the outside air was cooler than the inside air. It was Sunday, and I called and left messages for three different heating & air conditioning companies. Day & Night returned my call and I talked with Liz. She was compassionate and gave me several options. Since we were traveling to the Grand Canyon that afternoon, we opted to get the unit repaired on Tuesday when we returned. The team for Day & Night arrived at the appointed time, diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. (still haven't received return calls from the other companies that I contacted) Ricky and Alex were terrific; nice and respectful gentlemen and very knowledgeable about their work. They were also very professional. Some reviews have stated that their prices are high. I say, you get what you pay for. With Day & Night, we received quality service and peace of mind.
We contacted Day & Night because they came highly rated on the BPI.org website.
Marc did a wonderful job with the home audit, explaining everything as he went along. He then provided a list of suggested improvements.
We pursued some of the suggested improvements - an estimator came out to scope the job, then shortly thereafter the guys came out to do the work (installing whirlybirds, sealing ducts, replacing door edge seals). There was one hiccup when the door seals made it difficult for the door to close, but the Field Supervisor followed up with me and sent out a guy (Rick) to make repairs that same day. Rick did a fantastic job!
They truly want their customers to be satisfied, I was impressed with their persistance to make sure the work was done properly before closing out the job.

So there I was, enjoying a nice, hot shower when I heard an ominous gurgling noise coming from the toilet. Hoping against hope that the dog had suddenly decided to start using the indoor facilities (it could happen, right?), I hopped out to investigate and discovered about 15 gallons of pure, unadulterated evil had backed up out of the sewer and onto the floor.
Given that plumbing is way, way out of my comfort zone and it was late Saturday afternoon, I figured I was probably SOL until at least Monday, but I thought I would at least see if I could line something up for then. Fortunately, I found Day & Night right here on Yelp - not only are they right around the corner from my house, but they were open and accepting service calls!
The receptionist was very helpful and efficient, and assured me that she would send someone over between 6 and 8 PM. Jeff actually arrived a bit before 6, quickly diagnosed the problem, and had everything fixed and back to full working order in a little over an hour.
Highlights of my experience:
- They provided service exactly when I needed it, even though it was outside what many people would consider normal hours
- Jeff was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and professional
- The receptionist was informative and let me know about the base fee (e.g. service call fee) up front
- The service call fee was extremely reasonable, I've heard tell of other contractors charging several hundred dollars for an after-hours callout, that was not the case here.
All I can say is that everything about this experience (barring the occurrence that caused me to call them) was outstanding! Thanks to Jeff and Day & Night for saving me from the fountain of filth!
I would definitely recommend Day & Night. Their techs are hourly, not commission. They won't jerk you around trying to sell you a new motor or something else you don't need. The tech loves his job and the company and is very friendly and talks to you about your AC. Our tech was Alex and Shana answered the phone! They were both very friendly and professional!
Better late than never..... A few months ago a friend referred us to Day and Night for our air conditioning problems. I just want to say Thanks for a job well done and for being so professional. We appreciate a company we can trust!! Take pride and keep up the GOOD honest work.
They sold me a discontinued toilet, installed in an hour, and charged me $380.00. The toilet, which I looked up the brand and model number later that day, costs $89.00. So, not only did they sell me a discontinued toilet and didn't tell me which is pretty lame, but they charged me almost $300.00 for one hour of labor as well. Pretty sketchy business practices.
Great experience. They were able to come out within a day of my phone call, right on time, and the problem was fixed on the spot for a very reasonable price. $140 to change out both leaky shower valves in the bathroom. Sure, I could have done it myself, but I know it would have taken me forever to get around to it and it would have been a big pain for me. So I was happy to pay someone else who could do it in 30 minutes while I baked a birthday cake for my kid.

7 years ago I had them replace my ac unit at my home. I was happy with them at that time. But over the last two days I have become a VERY happy customer. My ac unit went out on Thursday. I called them at 4:15 in the afternoon. They had someone out at my house less than 2 hours later. He found the problem and told me that my unit was under warranty! I thought that my warranty had expired! He did not have the part to fix it (understandable) I got a call the next morning at about 8am letting me know that they had got the part needed. A time was set from 10:30-1:00 that day for the repair. I just asked for a call 30 min prior to the tech getting there as I was going to have to leave work. I got the call only 15 min before (the only thing I am not happy about) When I got home my AC was working again less than 24 hours after it stopped working. Both techs that came out were professorial (KASEY, ANTONIO).

A/C repair is tricky because when you need it, you need it, and I for one, don't know enough about what the heck they are doing or talking about to make informed decisions about the work they are suggesting needs to be done. But that being said, this company is nice, professional, on time, and goes way beyond 5 star customer service.
Example: I called them to install a nest thermostat. Once the guy got it on the wall, we saw a shatter line in the screen. I had to go to Home Depot to exchange it--this process would take a hour because I live a ways from the store. So, the repair person said he would wait in his car for me to come back. He easily could have insisted on a second visit and second fee, but he didn't.
So, great customer service. And that goes a long way with me.

I have been a customer with Day & Night since August 2010 when our original Heat Pump/AC unit quit. I looked on line to read some reviews and picked the top two. The first company I called did not go north of Bell Road so my next call was to Day & Night. They scheduled someone to come out the following morning and the day after they came out we had a new Trane unit in place. We were impressed from their first visit with the promptness in service. I was concerned when I got home from work and my husband had not given them the check I left. He said they would pick it up later as they wanted to be sure the unit functioned to our satisfaction and so they wanted us to wait a few days. My husband had called a local company in Cave Creek near where we live shortly after the unit quit and they were to come out the following day but never made it until much later, by that time Day & Night had all ready been here to assess the unit and let us know our situation. After installation we had them come to service it each spring. After a couple years of that we went on a maintenance plan with them and they come before the A/C is turned on in the spring and again in the fall before we turn on the heat pump. We have not been disappointed ever. Their customer service from our experience has been impeccable and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a company they can put their trust in.

I'm a single mom navigating home ownership & maintenance on my own. After 3 years of living in my house my a/c stopped working. Not the best lunch break I've ever had. I called Night & Day & they had a wonderful service professional named David out to my house in under 2 hours. He showed me pictures of what was wrong & explained everything. He got me up & running a signed up for an amazing yearly service plan. Worth it to make sure I stay up & running (some parts are even included). I would highly recommend them to anyone!
Dishonest pricing, horrendous service if you question the price. PLEASE read this to the end before scheduling service yourself. It could be the best 3 minutes you ever spent.

Read the business owner's response below. They claim to have waived the service call fee that I did not ask to have waived, and instead overcharged for a repair that they did NOT give me a price on beforehand. Any other company would have completed the repair that required NO additional parts and took about an hour within a standard service call fee. Do not misinterpret that response as them helping the situation, it is proof of the dishonesty. I was led to believe I would pay $89, and then charged $196 instead.
I called Day & Night at 6PM because my newly installed unit (same day) was not turning on and I didn't trust the techs that my home warranty company sent out to come out quickly or fix it right. Home was 85+ degrees and I needed someone out FAST. I picked this company from Yelp reviews and they came within about 45 min - so far, so good. There was a mistake on the wiring of the new unit, and the problem was discovered and fixed in one hour. Kasey, the technician was very nice and professional, and I was a happy customer until getting the bill. The repair for labor only (no parts) was $196.00
When calling in, they told me that the service call is $89 ($30 more than normal due to the expected arrival time of 7PM being after hours). Any other time I've gotten a service call from other companies, it includes 1 hour of labor and/or the problem resolved, otherwise they tell you first what it will cost. That did not occur here.
I asked to talk to a manager, and Kasey called his manager, Jason. After discussing it for a few minutes, they would not stand by the pricing I was told before scheduling the service call.
Jason asked if I saw the value in the work that was done and if Kasey did a good job, and of course I said yes that Kasey did well. He said that if I didn't see the value in the service performed, he would ask Kasey to undo the changes, or in other words, purposely sabotage the unit. The comfort of my home was literally held hostage, and I was extorted in a time of desperation to pay this dishonest company. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Our A/C was blowing warm air. Day and Night was the only company that offered same day service. David and Jacob came in the late afternoon and did a complete inspection. They found several things that needed to be fixed and explained everything in detail. We believe they are trustworthy and honest. We purchased their platinum package which is financially reasonable and provided almost all the services our unit needed. We have been looking for a great company to service our A/C and glad we found them!
Eric was awesome! I needed my bi-yearly maintenance and Eric showed up on time, was professional and was really thorough in his checkup of my system. He explained everything so I could understand it and he didn't rush through the appointment. I've had Ron before who was wonderful too and now Eric. It just goes to show what a great company Day & Night is with who they hire for their employees. Both are great guys and I would highly recommend either one of them as your service technician.

From the first phone call to the post install follow-up visit, these guys are a class act! Everything went very smoothly, and they cleaned up after themselves during the install. They were very careful in my house, and around my pets. The heating and cooling system works flawlessly, and I would recommend them to anyone. If I could give them 10 stars I would.
Very professional and efficient! The technician was on time and was able to fix the problem right away. Our house was able to cool in a few hours.
Jeremy was great! He walked me through everything and gave me some options when I learned my A/C was on its last legs. Day & Night has always been quick to respond, fair in their recommendations, and consistent with their service when I've called. This is experience was no exception and it is one of the many reasons I'll confirm using Day & Night.

I called Day and Night once again to come out and repair my unit so we would have heat for the winter months. I continue to be impressed with their customer service and their work.
- When I called to order the the part I needed and schedule the appointment, the lady on the phone was very helpful, adjusting their schedule to accommodate my work schedule. She knew exactly who I was an why I was calling, having my information in their system.
- She was upfront and honest about the time it would take to order the part. She also asked if I wanted the maintenance package I was interested in from the last visit. I was but unfortunately time did not permit for the repair and the maintenance check on the unit.
- Philip, the tech from before, arrived once again on time. He had another tech with home to replace the needed part but also offered to run the maintenance check as well. With the two of them they were able to go the extra mile and get everything I needed done to the unit in the original time that I was quoted.
- Philip and the other tech were great. They got to work right away and got the job done right. My home and my family are warm. Day and Night not only provides quality products and service they provide a sound peace of mind.
When I called, they went above and beyond to make sure I got a true quote, including coming out and checking my unit for serial numbers to check on warranty. They were honest with the price, and they were my third quote and though a bit higher they guaranteed their work with a a year warranty. Cooled my house down in one day in the middle of summer and called me twice to make sure it was all working! very good honest service!

My AC went out - I called Day & Night at 8:30pm and had a technician at my place an hour later. Kasey, the technician, was very nice, professional, and arrived in a Day & Night van (not subcontracted). Would recommend to anyone needing after business hour service calls!
Had 4 different TOP RATED AC companies come out to quote my new home (14 year old AC unit) for a new AC unit. Marc from Day and Night was not only 1 of the most thought, they were also the best value for my money. All of my duct work was thrashed, and needed to be replaced, also need additional vents added. They are 1 of the very few companies that will not take any money until the job is completed. NO DOWN PAYMENT, that's simply unheard of today.
The team came out on time and got on started quickly. They had the whole job done within a day. Which was great! HOWEVER, we did run into some issues. The team did not have all the vent covers with them, also did not know how to install my special thermostat. The next day they sent out a rep to install my covers, as well as help with with some concerns I had. My living room was HOT, and I was willing to give it some time to work out the kinks. He made a couple of adjustment and was on his way. The following week another tech came out in install my ecobee thermostat, which turns out to not be installed that day. Another slip through the crack issue. The first crew did not run a new thermostat wire from the unit. Not an issue because the old thermostat was working and the house was being cooled. HOWEVER..again, I had concerns about my hot spots. Turns out the unit was only wired on the low setting (2 stage unit) so it simply could not keep up with the heat. The new tech wired on high, per my request, so I can get a feel for it working fully. Another week and they send a tech out again to set up the thermostat. Gets the new wire ran, and thermostat done within a couple of hours, and all was good. A couple of weeks later everything is done and Marc comes out to give me all my warranty info, rebates and payment. Went ahead and added the extended warranty to the unit (simplicity of having 1 company handle all my issues if U have any). Great news (I did have to tell them about my rebate i did qualify for, they thought I was not SRP), I get a $300 rebate on my new system as well. After 2 months, no rebate, so I called to get the scoop. Turns out the appropriate paperwork was not processed!!!! Great companies will fix this problem, since part of the deal with Day and Night is they handle all of this paperwork. The simply said they will cut me a check for the $300. I follow up a few days later and they were able to push the rebate through SRP. Either way is good, just now I'm 2 1/2 months farther out. I still have not received my rebate yet (as of today) and the last conversation I had with Day and Night was July 31st......
Very long review, but wanted to point out everything. Great value for my money, yes had issues, but they took every step needed to make sure I was satisfied. Now as soon as I get my $300......

I called on Monday morning about possible sewer gas odor and the phone staff was responsive and helpful. They had plumber Clint come out the same day. Turns out the smell was not sewer gas so they didn't do any repair work but the diagnostic advice and service we got was well worth the trip charge. I cannot speak to their repair rates yet but I will be calling them again next time, for both plumbing and HVAC service.

We had Day and Night do a routine service call to make sure AC was working properly. Today we had Kasey come back and do the Gold Semiannual service. Oh what a wonderful experience! Kasey was amazing. Explained all he did and said we had good, working unit. We are so happy to have found Day & Night. We are snowbirds who have decided to stay in Phoenix full time. We not only signed up for the Gold, but added the plumbing as well. It feels so good to be connected to such a fine firm that employs such nice people who also speak so highly of the company they work for. Wow, so refreshing in this day and age. After our AC died last week, we started to search for a reliable and highly rated company on Angie's list and Yelp. D&N came up with very good reviews and our initial visit was also very positive. Our system was 20 years old and we decided to upgrade everything to have a peace of mind for the next 10 years. The price was kinda steep that's why I only gave it 4 stars but I would rate them at 4.5 for sure. After a week of waiting (busy season) and toughing it out by sleeping downstairs and outside the house, they came with 6 men and a huge amount of equipment. After seeing the amount of stuff that went into my house and the bad condition my old system was in that they ripped out, I did not feel as bad anymore for paying so much. They came at 6am and were done with the whole job by 3:30pm the same day. I was amazed how fast and professional they were. You hear a lot about some service horror stories, but we had none of that. They cleaned up after themselves and you could not even tell that they were there. They also installed new and bigger pads for the outside condensing units and did a good job there as well. We have a 10 year warranty and service with them and it seemed worthwhile. I would definitely recommend them again.

I needed my summer maintenance on my HVAC & also had a plumbing issue. I was able to utilize Day and Nighit for both and on the same day! As has been my experience with this company, the work was done in a clean and courteous manner. I give Day and Night high marks for all of the professionals I have worked with. You get straight talk and no pressure. All the work that is done is explained in a consise manner and the options are given in a straight forward way from which to make informed decisions. Ronnie B from the HVAC side was a joy to work with and Michael and Josh from the plumbing branch were just as personable. They are masters of the profession and I would recommend this company highly. If everyone of the other folks are as good as the ones I have dealt with over the last year, then you can't go wrong!

We called to see about the cost to install a garbage disposal. We were told $49 for the service call which would be waived if they did the work.
And they would have to come out to see what the total cost would be.. That was the best estimate they could provide. We had to wait two days before they could arrive. The installer that arrived said it would be $197.12. When I called the office to inquire if this was accurate it as it was double what Home Depot charged. The person who answered the phone put me on hold and the installer left the room to take a call on his cel phone. When the installer hung up his phone the person at the office took me off hold and then said she found the price book and she quoted $197.12.
I don't like to be cynical but it seems pretty shady.
If it is a set price ,they should have said that in the beginning. 40 minutes worth of work for $197.12. That works out to $300 per hour.
We won't use this company again.
I have used Day & Night for a couple of years now. They are on-time, honest and always explain what needs to be done and why. The office staff is great, also. Worth the money for sure.
Jeff is my hero! He came out and not only fixed the mess we made of our bathroom drains, but he found leaks in our water heater, which had been incorrectly installed and fixed them so they'll never leak again. He also told me about using enzymes for making sure my drains are all kept in good working condition and are pet friendly, unlike bleach or drain cleaners I'd used in the past. This company was recommended to us by a friend, and I can see why. They're great!
We had Day and Night install 2 new units on our house in May 2013. We had problems with one of the units from day one and they told us they would take care of the problem. This went on for a couple of months, they even had the Amana Rep out. After replacing a couple of parts, they decided to replace the unit. Day and Night made the decision to replace it with a bigger unit at NO COST to us. They went above and beyond to help us and to make sure we were happy. Everyone they sent out was very professional and cleaned everything up when they were finished. Great company to work with and would highly recommend them.
This is the first company in the 15 years that we have lived in our house that has worked competently on our air conditioning. They found prior mistakes which they corrected at no extra cost. For the first time, we have cool air in our bedroom. Their installation crew were fast, efficient and competent. The followup supervision was thorough. All staff were polite and friendly. It is rare that we have found this level of expertise in a contractor. We recommended them 100%.
Just arrived for our annual winter stay and discover the air conditioning is not performing. Roasted all night and had our usual company send out a service tech who gave us the low down. The feedback seemed a bit sketchy and not committed to paper SO we called Day and Night. Willy came out the following morning and check over our system. He flushed the clogged and drain and gave us the overview. His professionalism made me ask for a quote on replacing the entire system. We now feel far more comfortable in proceeding with the expenditure than previously. Much appreciated. Earl

Called Day & Night on a Saturday for less than cold air conditioning and had an appointment scheduled the same day - no surcharges for it being the weekend or last minute service call. Kasey came out and quickly diagnosed the problem (low coolant) and fixed the issue. Even gave me some advice about the future of my AC unit. I thought it was reasonably priced, but after a Google search found the price of my coolant was quoted all over the place and oftentimes much lower. This is noted in another review from 6/2015: I have an AC that needs R22 freon and that comes at the hefty price of $213 for the first pound and $135 for any pounds needed after that. According to sources online this freon is priced at around $100 per pound. That being said, there weren't any labor charges on my bill so I'm assuming that cost was absorbed into the high price per pound of coolant. Also, I called two other places and one said they weren't available until 6/24 and the other said they did not do diagnostic prices, their prices were hourly ($250). All in all, I'd use them again (but hopefully won't have to!).
Nice people but very dishonest. They recommended repairs that were not necessary and tried to charge several times more than market price. I guess I should have known better but I found another place who was honest and charged a fraction of the price. This place also tried to invoice me for work not performed.

Needed a new water heater gate valve installed. Called at 3pm and they had a tech here by 5 - the same day! Did a great job and kept me informed of potential issues along the way. I am very pleased with every aspect of this companies performance.
I had Jason come out and install a heat pump. He arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done fast and was a pleasure to work with.
After living in a newer home in Ahwatukee for 10.5 years (with hardly any issues), we just moved into a lovely older home with mature vegetation. On our first night in the home, the base of the downstairs toilet starting leaking and flooded the bathroom floor. Turning off the water to the house did not help. I found Day & Night Plumbing through Yelp and called them around 12:30a.m. An on-call plumber (Jason Jossy) promptly called us back, and told us that it was probably a back-up in the sewer line. He instructed us on how to stop the overflow, and asked if we wanted him to stop by at that time, or first thing in the morning. He arrived on time the next morning (a Sunday no less), was very pleasant, and had our problem fixed within 45 minutes. The problem was caused by roots in the sewer line. Jason also gave us some ideas on how to manage future issues from the roots, and what to look for in the house/plumbing that would give us an idea that the roots were back in the sewer line. I have trusted this company for years, and I still feel that they do good work. Their pricing, however has gotten out of hand, and they have become completely unreasonable. Last week, when I called them to repair an issue I was having with my AC, they quoted me a repair price that was unconscionable. The cost for the part needed was between $30 and $60, and the repair time would have been less than 20 minutes. I expect there to be a convenience premium for travel and the cost for diagnosis, but they were quoting me 500% to 1000% the cost of the part. To be exact Day & Night quoted me $325 to replace a contactor (a Very Simple Fix and a Very Inexpensive Part). I called the manager to try to discuss the matter and ask for a more reasonable price. The manager refused and I was forced to go with another company. Autumn Heating & Cooling did the repair for $187. So even after paying D&N their $59 service fee I still saved $79 by having Autumn doing the repair ($187+$59 = $246)(325-246=$79 savings). The AC works perfect now. (Note: I would have saved $138 if I called Autumn first). I would be cautious about hiring Day & Night. They certainly lost my business.
