Jorge Flores Air Conditioning & Heating

Our ac unit stopped working. We contacted Jorge Flores Air Conditioning & Heating and he gave us a quote that was affordable for us. We kept in touch until we agreed on a day and time he could install our ac unit. Anytime we needed to get a hold of him by phone or text he responded right away or at least the same day. We accidentally left our cars in the driveway and husband took the keys when he went to work. Jorge was able to work around that and was very professional. Thank you Jorge for the excellent customer service. Hopefully we won't be needing you anytime soon but if we do we know who to call.

Jorge was professional, honest, and a pleasure to work with. He was my second call, the first HVAC company told me I needed a new unit, $8-10k. My units are 16 years old so I figured it might be time, but a friend referred Jorge and I called for a second opinion. He went up in the crawl space, checked everything, thermostats, fans, etc. After a thorough HVAC investigation, he was able to fix the unit for less than $400 with a part. He also went above and beyond and gave some TLC to a drain just because he wanted to make it more efficient (but it wasn't necessary). He was also very honest about the future off the units since they are past their prime, and I will 100% be calling him when I need a new unit(s). Top notch service!!!!!

Jorge saved the day! Our A/C went out today and he got in right away to fix it. He was professional and quick to confirm his availability with us. I read another review on here that he's related to the Flores A/C company lauded on Yelp that closed. I highly recommend!!

Jorge was very helpful. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone due to the information I shared with him. He was incredibly quick to come repair. Jorge and his co worker were fast, reliable, very reasonably priced, had the needed parts on their truck(motor),  polite, and friendly. I would def use/recommend him to others.

So...like many Yelpers, I was pretty bummed to see Flores Air Conditioning (owner: Miguel) close for business, and even more dismayed when I started getting carpet-bombed with marketing materials from Climate Pro. A quick search on yelp showed that Climate Pros are, well, not exactly pros when it comes to customer service and maybe perhaps lacking in integrity and reasonable billing practices. :-(

When my unit started acting all funky after I had a whole home flood (contractors took it upon themselves to run my AC in the summer at 62 degrees with the doors wide open during an extensive reno/rebuild...for the love) I took to yelp again, hoping to find someone who had a new suggestion for a Flores replacement, and my man (or woman?) J. S., happened to respond to my desperate Yelp Message plea and said he actually had the phone contact of someone who split off from the original Flores AC before Miguel closed his business. Yeah...it's confusing.  

Long story long, I took a chance, called Jorge hoping he would maybe be willing to come to south Scottsdale to give my TRANE AC a little TLC.

And..he was and did! Turns out he has his own fully-fledged HVAC business and the service and care reminded me exactly of what I had come to know and love about his brother's former business. My TRANE unit is 6 years old, so probably just a touch of out warranty, and since I don't know anything about HVAC, they could've said I needed a new motor (ca-ching!) but instead just needed only a capacitor (less ca-ching...although I honestly have no idea what a capacitor is or does haha).

For such a quick visit, I could've been hosed money-wise, but he informed me it'd be a cheap part plus a service call fee. Wow! I mean, geez, I was so appreciative to not get ripped off like I have been since Flores Air closed down that I gave him a hug. And he let me! :) He said they serve the greater Phoenix Valley so odds are if you are reading this, Jorge will be happy to help you!

tl;dr: call Jorge for any HVAC / air conditioning / heating needs, whether full unit replacement, installation or repairs.

Shout out to Kate K. for finding Jorge! He had kept my sad 16 year old unit running for years. Once again it started acting up, but the Flores company had been sold to another provider. I was stood up by a local company and luckily, I dug deep enough to find that Jorge is still working! He is a seasoned professional. He broke the news to me gently, that it was finally time to replace my unit inside and out. Super competitive pricing. He explained everything to expect in advance. The day of the job, he and his crew were on time. They wore masks. They covered everything that may be damaged. Drama free, no nonsense service as always. Jorge goes above and beyond to deliver superior service and avoid future issues.

We've been relying on Jorge for all of our AC needs for over 10 years, starting back when he used to share a business with his brother. When they sold the company and Jorge went off on his own, we stuck with him. He kept our old unit running as long as possible and then installed a new one 5 years ago when the old one finally kicked the bucket. He has always come out to us same day when we need him which, of course, is always when the AC goes out on an 'excessive heat warning' day. He cares about his customers and goes out of his way to make sure they are taken care of. He always explains everything very clearly so you understand what's going on and he offers a fair price. My father-in-law uses this company as well and is always happy with the service. I recommend them to everyone who asks me if I have an AC that I trust.

I contacted Jorge Flores to do a yearly tune up on my HVAC system. Jorge arrived on time and serviced the unit. While testing parts of the unit he found that one of the capacitors was failing, and was able to put in a new one on the spot. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service that I received from Jorge Flores Air Conditioning and Heating. His pricing is very reasonable and his service is outstanding.

Jorge got back to my initial request (clogged A/C condensation line) asking what he could do for me.  All the info had already been sent to him, nevertheless I answered again.  Then nothing.  Tried calling.  Tried messaging again.  Zip.  Nada.  Ghosted.  

All these great reviews, wish I could provide the same.

I'd give more than 5 stars if I could. Jorge is VERY honest which is what we all need in this type of industry. I received a total of three quotes and they all ranged from $135-$880. I'm not going to name names of those companies but it was clear that most of them were out to make money. Jorge made it clear that if something is broken he would fix it. If it's not then no need in wasting anyones time or money. I thankfully didn't need his services which saved me a bit of money but if I do he's my go to guy. Thank you Jorge!!!

This is the second unit that Jorge Flores has installed in my home and I am very satisfied with the work. Jorge Flores AC is a family owned business with excellent customer service. Their prices CANNOT be beat!

Jorge and his employees showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. Jorge is very knowledgeable and explained what was wrong with our old unit. Jorge and his employees have always been very honest and friendly in all of our experiences as well as my family and friends. He won't sell you something you don't need and in many cases has given us cheaper options than our initial request. Jorge is truly an honest person that cares for his customers. I will continue to refer them to friends and family!

Jorge Flores HVAC has fantastic team that can be counted on doing excellent work at good value. My wife and I have experience that Jorge always delivers exceptionally on HVAC installations and  service. Jorge installed two TRANE HVAC at different homes over the last 7 plus years with no issues. I highly recommend Jorge Flores HVAC for maintenance and new installation.

Jorge was professional, upfront and provided great quality of work. He talked me through every step and explained the why in detailed so I understood what was happening and didn't feel uncomfortable. He also showed me everything that was replaced and didn't leave a mess. The price honest. I would recommend my friends, family and anyone to call Jorge. I can see the Jorge take pride in his business and his customers and is al about providing great quality. At no point did I feel taken advantage off which in the day in age is HUGE!!!!!! After unsuccessfully tried a big company and then an independent contractor, I called Jorge and it is clear that he has a lot of experience, he promptly diagnosed and fixed the problem. He was courtous, friendly and most importantly HONEST.

I was referred to jorge Flores from my aunt, his team came out a lot faster than I expected and they were able to get my new unit in pretty seamlessly despite coming into some supply issues. Pricing was a sizable amount better than the big box guys running around town and I feel like the service was more personable as well.

I just got to say wow! Jorge Flores And his crew were outstandingly professional. They were able to install both of my Ac units in 1 day. Crazy! Not only were they following covid guidelines, but they also picked up very well after install. Almost looked cleaner than before lol. But honesty, overall they did a spectacular job! From start to finish. Very very professional. If I could I'd leave a 10 start rating.

Jorge is back! One of the Valley's favorite HVAC technicians has returned.  For decades he has helped customers with his expertise, at minimum expense.  Jorge's honesty and kindness is unmatched.  When my AC stops working, he finds simple solutions, like replacing a burned out fuse, or a run/fan capacitor.  Jorge is a gem. I feel so fortunate to have his help.

Jorge is hands down, the best. When my air conditioner had its last cold breath (I recently bought my house and the Lennox unit here was already 25 years old), I needed someone to replace it, but it's a huge purchase and decision so I wanted to make sure I did everything right.
I had spoken with another HVAC installer, but once I met Jorge I knew he was the one for me. He's honest, responsible, explains everything in detail and does not oversell.
Jorge's name is on the business, he's involved with every step and that's important to him, and it is to me too, as a customer. I know Jorge stands behind his work, and it's meticulous and professional.

I have to provide an update regarding Jorge's business. He continues to be extremely responsive, courteous and professional. Twice in recent months we have called him for minor issues and he treated those issues with the same priority as any other. He has refused payment when he did not feel he found or resolved a problem even though the peace of mind he provided was priceless - highly unusual for an A/C and heating contractor. If I ever think of calling another A/C company, please slap me.

Jorge was terrific. Had dated AC unit that likely needed replaced. He was out next day and provided quote for new unit. He Manuel (sp) and crew had new unit up a few days later. Had used Flores AC until they were bought out and found Jorge through Yelp. Have had nothing but great experiences with family since moving here and this time was no different. Dependable, honest and hard working. Highly recommend

When my AC stopped working I contacted Jorge Flores to evaluate the problem of my 20 year old system. Fearing the worst, I knew it wasn't going to be pretty. Jorge was very honest and thorough and after going over my options I decided to get a new unit. We couldn't be happier with our decision. We got an excellent new Train unit and couldn't be happier. We were extremely pleased with the service that was provided to us by Jorge Flores and his crew. Extremely knowledgeable and professional service is what you get when you contact Jorge. Jorge and his crew were on time and followed covid guidelines. We were very impressed at how quick Jorge and his technicians came and changed our our entire system. I woke up at 4:45 in the morning and said to myself Hm. My fridge stopped working, the ceiling fan stopped working, the dryer isn't heating, the microwave short circuited, and the toilet flush valve is broken. What else could go wrong? Then my AC said to the garage door, here, hold my beer.  I called several places to tell them to exactly what was wrong and why my house was 90 degrees, but none of them would quote me a price without a service call. I remembered Flores AC (they installed the unit 6 years ago) and decided to look them up on the off chance that they might be back in business. I found Jorge Flores and I told him what was possibly wrong. He agreed with me and asked me to check several other things. He came out the same day, didn't charge me extra, and came ready with the part. He remembered me from the installation when he worked with his brother's business. He and his nephew were very polite, honest, and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. They even showed me how to clean the unit and let me know which parts would need to be replaced in a couple years and how much I should save up for repairs. I'm so happy to have found them. You won't be disappointed.

Jorge is a professional.  This is the second time we successfully used his services.  Both times we were kept informed of the process.  Jorge was timely with appointments and provided before and after photos of our new installation of a  4 ton TRANE unit on our rental house. Work started on time and and on the designated day.   Not only was the job perfect, but Jorge Flores's quote was the lowest.  We like to support local craftsmen rather than large companies.  We intend to continue to utilize this company as they are honest and do great work.  Highly recommend.
