Rob, Marty and Pat... I cannot express how pleased we were with their tile removal and leveling service they provided to us!   My wife and I bought a fixer upper with the intention of DIY'ing the majority of the work.   Little did we know, leveling floors is not as easy when covering large areas.   After an embarrassing attempt, I waved the white flag and sought out estimates to get the job done.   When I met with Rob (the owner), I knew we were going to go with him.  Rob wasn't the cheapest, but he was the best.   He was thorough with his assessment and explained what needed to be done.   The entire home (2,600 sq ft) needed to be leveled, and we knew this before requesting estimates.  

Rob laid out the expectations up-front.  He explained the process and that it would take over a week to complete the job.  
the floors were uneven throughout the home and the previous homeowners masked the imperfections with carpet, tile and vinyl flooring.  In some areas, the floor varied by as much as 1.25 inches.  We knew that we needed to hire someone we would trust and would do the job as expected.

We hired Flooring Professionals to remove the Vinyl and tile flooring.  Unbeknownst to us prior to contacting them, we were not aware that this task could be done using dust free technology, which was an added bonus, since we were living in the home throughout the process.

Rob and his team spent a little over a week removing the tile, grinding the concrete, leveling the floors.  When returning home each evening, we were able to see the progress that was done during the day and all of the tools were neatly placed away.  While that wasn't expected, it was a clear indication that they take pride in their work.  Also, all of the debris from the floor they had removed was placed in bins on the side of the home in an organized fashion.  

They were very professional, courteous, ON TIME and TRUST-WORTHY.  

Thank you again for your hard work and professionalism.  Having our floors leveled was money well spent.

On September 9, 2021 Flooring Professionals completed the job of flattening the slab in our house. Rob Hayton, the owner of Flooring Professionals was recommended to us by Nick Giammarino of Arizona Home Floors/Dust Ram, a dustless tile removal, which we used, and truly is dustless. We highly recommend Arizona Home Floors/Dust Ram for tile removal. Flooring Professionals too, are a dustless company and use the same vacuum system as Arizona Home Floors/Dust Ram.

We contacted Rob, the owner of Flooring Professionals requesting an estimate to flatten the slab in preparation for large format (24x48) tile installation. We described our needs to Rob who checked the floors flatness using a laser level, explaining his company could flatten the floor within 1/16" but it would not be "bubble" level. We initially felt the estimate was high however, after seeing the end result of what Rob's company did, we knew we had made the right decision.

Rob and his team were polite, courteous, professional. During the 3 day process the crew arrived promptly at 7am and at the end of their work day cleaned up the area, picked up all tools leaving the house in a neat condition considering the amount and type of work that was being done.

Upon completion of the flattening Rob went over the restrictions regarding the compound drying times. One issue we discovered after the job was complete was the flattening compound had gotten to close to the toilet flange preventing it from rotating freely. Contacted Rob, he said he would be out the next day to correct the problem, which he did.

Bottom line - the job done by Rob and his professional team was excellent. We highly recommend them to anyone needing their floors flattened.

Update: a good company was found and gave a quote and did a great job on my floors.

This guy is so "professional" he's psychic and "knows" no reputable contractor will be available in 4 days to give a quote.

Guess I will test his brilliant theory.

Glad I wasn't unfortunate enough to hire him. I have had the benefit of working with stand up professionals and they basically never act like that!

Rob and his crew are fantastic! They just did dust free tile removal for us today and we're thrilled! Truly dustless! And true to what he says: they left our house cleaner than how they found it! Communication was excellent, price is fair and the quote was easy to understand. while the work was being done they found some issues and Rob made sure to understand the problem, figure out what was wrong and offered solutions. We've been blessed to work with some amazing people during our project and Rob and his crew are truly an answer to our prayers! Thanks for everything Rob!

Just CANNOT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS about Flooring Professionals. Had a gut-and-remodel and needed to have the floors ground for concrete stain. Had a fellow come out from another flooring company, and quote me an ungodly amount for grinding ... AFTER the tile and mortar had already been removed. Rob's quote was reasonable, his work was fast, thorough, and professional, and he's right ... the darn floors were cleaner AFTER being ground than before! Although he doesn't normally do "polished", he went out of his way to make the floors smooth and even for me. Did such a good job, that I was able to stain the floors without ever having to "polish" them (which the other guy suggested would be absolutely necessary).  Couldn't be happier!!

These guys saved us!!!! We started a demo job thinking we could do it all ourselves... we thought wrong!  We took out tile and spent a whole night working on the thinset not getting more than 200 square feet done and threw in the towel. We called these guys the next day and they were there by noon! Not only did they do the job(700 more square feet) in 3 hours but they also cleaned up our mess!!! These guys are so nice and professional! I would recommend no one do this on their own, it makes such a mess! It's taking me longer to clean out my kitchen cabinets(just from the 200sf that we  did)  than it would have taken to hire them to do all of the job with no mess at all!!! I'm telling you, we like to DIY things and this is well worth the price!!!

So in June, I contacted Flooring Professionals to remove the tiled area's in the condo I had purchased in Scottsdale. Rob, the owner,  responded quickly, I sent him pictures and square footage and he gave me a quote for the job...but he also warned me upon his inspection of the original installation that the tiles might not come up easily and that would increase the price. No truer words were spoken....taking up the tile resulted in some of the base concrete coming up with it and a badly pitted floor.

Long story short, this work was not cheap but these guys did a great job in removing the old tile and then applying the leveler to get a really great finished product. This is very hard work and Rob and Marty worked diligently...and the no dust equipment is legit. Rob knows his craft...real pro.

By far, removing 1400 square feet of tile was the easiest and cleanest part of our renovation thanks to Rob and his crew from Flooring Professionals. They arrived spot on time, and finished the same day. They truly left our house cleaner than when they got here. The savings in time and having no dust were worth every penny. I would readily recommend them to anyone!

From the initial phone call to the final wave goodbye, this tile removal project was done right. Rob asked some questions during the first call giving me an idea of what our small project might entail. I wanted him to see the area so we scheduled a consultation. The fee was waved as we went with Rob to do the work. Rob called the day before to confirm and he and his crew (Pat and Marty) showed up right on time. The three of them were efficient, thorough, and always mindful of our household items. They really did leave the area cleaner than when they started. This review is long overdue! Back in March I was in the middle of a massive home renovation that my family was attempting to live through. The trades coming and going for several months were starting to wear on my family's patience. Enter Rob and his crew at Flooring Professionals... I happened upon them by accident, they came as a referral from another flooring company that was too busy to accommodate my tight time table, getting tighter as the project wore on. The owner Rob, hearing my dilemma, came out the very same day to offer me a much needed second opinion on my cement floor and the ability to adhere a natural wood product to it.  He confirmed what another wood floor installer had told me, that my original concrete slab was in need of a lot of attention to make it flat enough for the installation. I originally contacted Rob for just the floor preparation (grinding and floating) not knowing that his company did more than that. After he explained the whole process I was confident that Flooring Professionals would be my "one stop shop" for the flooring phase of my project. I was  not disappointed! His bid was lower than my estimated budget. Their equipment was top of the line, in three days of grinding we saw barely a trace of dust. After, came two more days of floating and countless bags of leveling material. Yet, every day they cleaned up after themselves. Finally, was their meticulous attention to fitting, adhering and scribing each piece of wood. The end result was a floor so beautiful that the a friend of ours, who works at a major design studio in Tempe, said that they were the flattest floors he had ever seen, "even better that the ones installed in his own showroom"!

We needed about 400 square feet of tile removed so we could finish our whole-house re-tile project.  After experiencing the dust-nightmare of DYI floor grinding, we decided to give Flooring Professionals and their dust removal system a try.  We were not disappointed.  Rob and his crew were outstanding.  They showed up on time, answered all our questions and set about getting the job done quickly and efficiently.  The best part?  No dust at the end of the day!  All tile pieces and residue were completely removed and they wiped down all the horizontal surfaces where any incidental dust may have accumulated.  All in all a very satisfactory experience--definitely recommend!
