Red Mountain Renovations

Alex and his crew installed 900 sf of wood laminate and also removed 400 SF of tile and 500 sf of carpet on my house in 3 days.

They were reasonably priced, on time, and great to deal with.

I'd gladly hire them again or refer them to a friend.

Was told Alex would come measure Sunday at 2 pm then bring samples to our home on Tuesday in the afternoon.

I received a text Sunday morning about 10 am, from Alex, that he forgot he had to help his son move. Would I send pictures of my cabinets and he would come out Wednesday.

I text back saying thank you for letting me know but I don't want to match cabinets and Wednesday not good.

I said would get someone else and I wished him the best in his remodel and have a good dsy.

When I had spoken with Alex on the  phone on Saturday I had shared that I'm in a wheelchair and that the partical board subflooring is wearing down from it. .need to get it covered.

After I told him I'd get another company set up to bring samples out since it he wasn't set up to bring samples  and said good bye, he became aggressive and nasty saying other guys would try to take advantage since I'm crippled and they can't beat his price.

I told him to stop texting and he crossed the line calling me crippled, to leave me alone.

He sent another text.

I sent one telling him I have all these texts. I will take them to the BBB and AZ Contractors if he continues.

He sent a text back saying I have the wrrong person. I text him I know who je is and his number.

This is harassing and abusive behavior!
I cannot believe he treated me this way.

I contacted this company based on their good reviews.

I had Red Mountain out almost 5 years ago to install Pergo laminate and it still looks great. They were decently priced and got the job done in one day.

Alex and his team are worth 10 times what they charge as they provided a full service start to finish operation. They went above and beyond the call of duty, delivering a perfect flooring install for our Scottsdale condo.

Our install was not run of the mill. It was a challenge as it is an old condo that had a lot of unseen issues. Alex corrected all of the problems, including repairing a broken toilet with ease and at no extra charge. He stuck to his quote, even when it was evident they were doing way more work than they were being paid for.

His crew was neat, polite, kind, and people who you would welcome into your home without worry.

I would hire Alex again and without hesitation recommend him to anyone who wants a quality job, done right.

Excellent excellent work. I cannot say how pleased we are with our new flooring. So now thats out of the way, lets get down to the nitty gritty

1- Price. - Beat the estimate given to me by Lumber Liquidators by a 100-75%. Now that alone saved us quiet a bit. Thats on labor alone. Scott even helped us source the wood from one of his proffered retailer whom we had visited earlier unknowingly and that dropped the price per sq ft by about 50%. It all adds up to quiet a bit. (We got engineered hardwood from the dealer, if that helps in anyway. )

2-Time. Lumber Liquidators wanted 4-5 days, these guys were in and out in 2. He promised he would have it done in 3 days at the worst case, but the fact is he delivered on time that was very important to us.

3-Flexibility - Was very flexible to work with as far as times and schedules go. We found it easy to accommodate them with the numerous options we were given

4-Personable - Wonderful people to work with. The whole crew was just nice wonderful people. I dont know how you may make your decisions but that is a big big  deal maker/breaker for me.

I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone. In fact one of our neighbors is on his way to hiring them toe work on his house !

Contacted Red Mountain Renovations after reading their reviews on here because I needed my bamboo flooring installed.  I have to agree with all of them.  

Scott and Alex were great to work with.  They are very personable and flexible.  My moldings didn't come in time for when they were installing my flooring, but they came back when I finally got them and didn't charge me for the extra work as well as time they took to come back out to my house.  They also had the best prices for installation as well.  

I highly recommend them to anyone that is looking for a company to install their flooring.  I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Alex and his son just installed 164 Sq feet of flooring in our home.  They did a great job and the room looks amazing!  They were very professional and on time.  We will definitely have them back to finish the rest of the house when the time comes.

Great guys, very responsive and did a great job at a very fair price!

 Installed about 2000st feet of wood laminate flooring complete with 4 inch moldings. They brought a crew and knocked it out in in less than two days transforming the entire house.  

Very professional, personable and easy to work with. They were careful and I had no reserves leaving them alone at the house while I went to work.

I will definitely be using Red Mountain Renovations for my upstairs and stairway when the time comes.

I never thought floors could be done in a few hours but Scott said he can. I had an area to cover of about 775 sq ft and it's all 1 story. Scott was there really early with his crew and knocked it out! All the reviews I've read we're very positive and that's why we've decided on red mountain renovations. Let me just start by saying that Scott and his crew are the best flooring people you will ever find!!!

A little over a year ago we purchased our home and decided to remove carpeting from all of the rooms and closets and replace it with PERGO flooring. Through some research, I came across Red Mountain Renovations. Scott was very professional and was able to come in to do the flooring on the very short notice. They did such an amazing job that everyone I had at the house always compliment the floors.

About two weeks ago, we had an A/C condensation pan leakage. This caused our closet ceiling to fall and all that water went all over the walls and flooring. When the clean up crew showed up, they removed water damaged boards but in the process, they damaged a lot of the boards that were not effected by the water. Once again Scott and Alex came to my rescue. They worked with my schedule and were nothing but understanding, compassionate, and professional. Not only were they able to transform my damaged floors like nothing ever happened, they also were kind enough to help me with closet door framing. These guys are absolutely amazing!!!!

We recently moved to Mesa,Arizona, and the home we bought needed flooring in one of the bedrooms.  We needed the flooring in ASAP, not knowing anyone who does this kind of work we turned to yelp, and read the reviews on Red Mountain Renovations.  It turned out that RMR lived up to their billing.  I contacted Scott, and after he heard what our situation was, he told us that he would be able to accommodate our needs.  The very next day Adam showed up and laid the flooring in a very professional manner.  We will be contacting Red Mountain Renovations for all our flooring needs.  Thank you Scott and Adam.

I'm a real estate broker/investor who's worked with contractors and tradespeople for 3 decades I can tell you that Scott and RMR are a full cut above what has become the norm in the trades. I just used them for a laminate floor installation at one of my rental properties in Mesa and they were great in every way. They were responsible, reliable, and quite reasonable in price - three attributes that are very difficult if not impossible at times to find within the building trades. I found them on Yelp and just had 2 five star reviews to go by. I say "just" because you never know on this or any similar site whether the reviews are real or phony. After using RMR for the first time I now know that those two excellent reviews are absolutely real.

I could not be more pleased.  I saw the ad and called Scott who was very professional and although I was a bit of his usual area, he would check his calender and get back to me.  The next day Johnny called and told me Scott had called him and  he would be able to accomodate my install of PERGO.  We worked out a very convenient day and time.  He got stuck in slow moving traffic on the way and immediately called me to confirm he was on  his way and the time of arrival.  VERY professional and the price was very competitive and the job is done to my satisfaction - and I am obsessive.
