Legend Flooring

We trusted the Legend Flooring team to help convert our home into a rental property and they did an excellent job! New upgraded tile flooring through the first floor, and fresh new carpeting in the bedroom upstairs.

Searching through Yelp listings, we felt called to scope out Legend Flooring. We'd driven by their showroom so many times in passing, so we finally stopped in to ask questions and look at samples. We talked to Mike, who quickly understood our situation and was ready with great recommendations for how to tackle our project without breaking the bank. He gave us ideas and a range of ways we could replace old worn out tile and carpet, and give it that "new house" look.

At the time, supply chains were sluggish, but we were still able to get onto the installation schedule relatively quickly. All said and done, the work was completed in about a month. The Legend Flooring team was even helpful with adjusting their timeline to accommodate us having the interior house painted. I appreciated the open communication from the team, who were responsive by emails, calls, and we always knew we could swing by the store location. They also have a financing available, and options when you pay with cash/check.

When our neighbors came by to check out the house, they thought it looked so good and wondered why we didn't do it sooner! Oh well, our tenants will get to enjoy the nice new flooring, and we'll start saving up to work on our next home project!

Amazing company! The process of purchasing the flooring we wanted was wonderful. I took home so many samples over and over to find what fit the best. Mike was a pleasure to work with and patient with me. The day of demo and install they were on time and explained the process well. It was quick and done well. The real great customer service came over a year later when we found our toilet was installed incorrectly and was leaking. Mike went above and beyond to make sure they scheduled to come out to replace the flooring and re put on the toilet correctly. Wow! I cannot recommend them enough. Products are great, customer service is beyond great. Thank you!

Doug and Wendy were great! Wendy responded quickly and was able to give me an estimate fast, and stayed in communication throughout the whole process.
We wanted to take out the carpeting in our master and replace it with tile. They were able to match the tile exactly and got everything done fast.

We are extremely pleased with the everything connected to replacing the carpet in our bedrooms.  Their knowledge, expertise and customer service was outstanding.  Installation of the carpeting was done professionally with no issues whatsoever.  Our biggest issue was picking out the carpet.

After our first experience, we decided to contact them again in regards to an area rug for our family room that would stand up to daily traffic and our two dogs.  Again, they answered our questions and provided excellent guidance in helping us select a carpet for a custom area rug.

If anyone needs carpeting or other types of flooring, go see Doug and Wendy as you won't be sorry.  If we could give them more than 5 stars, we certainly would.

We have been waiting for a few years to replace our tile and I wish I would have done this sooner!! Wendy and Doug were great and very pleasant. We had tile and base boards installed and needed our bedroom carpets tacked down. Each team (demo, baseboards and tile) was great - they worked hard. It was great to find a one stop shop and they had a great store front. My only complaint was I wish communication of the arrival times of workers was a bit more clear.. but I am definitely not taking a star off for that! We would absolutely use them again!

Full disclosure. I didn't use Legend for my install because I didn't purchase flooring through them. However, if I could've I would have.

I called for a second opinion on the practices being used by my installer. They took the time to explain proper procedure and made me feel better that things were going the way they should. The integrity and consideration shown by these folks to a complete stranger makes me confident that their work is solid. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend based on customer service alone.

Our floors were just completed and they look awesome. Thanks to Doug and Wendy for the great experience. Three weeks from first payment to scheduling to completion. We did a whole house transformation shy of our master bedroom and  master bath. We love our wood grain tile, our decorative tile and our carpet. We sort of wish we had changed our our master carpet but since we lived in our master bedroom while this all happened, in the future. Oh we had tile throughout our house a 12x12 white tile with brown lines marbles through it circa 2002. So imagine the surprise on how well the filter removal worked, it was worth the smaller extra cost per square foot. We have found a bit of dust in cabinets but compared to what it could have been we are so happy. Use them you won't be disappointed and thanks for all the referrals on all our other projects.

Doug and Wendy were awesome to work with as we had tile installed for the first time in our house! They were cheaper than 3 other business we had requested quotes from, and they explained the whole process to my husband and I thoroughly. They knew how quickly we wanted the tile installed and when an opening date sooner than the one we had scheduled opened, Wendy called me late in the evening to let me know they had a closer date. The workers were amazing, hardworking, and diligent. I was working from home and my kids were doing their distance learning and I could hardly hear them as they worked...mind you they had to move toilets, a refrigerator, and an oven!! We are beyond satisfied with the work and the overall customer service they provided. Doug was available to answer any questions I had during the process and even to offer advice about the work that was to be finished by the carpet company (to reattach the carpet to the tile). Thank you Legend Flooring, the new look in our house is finally complete!!

It's a 10+!  We selected Legend to remove tile and carpet and replace over 1900 sq. Ft.  with wood-look, plank flooring.  The attention to detail was amazing from a customer service standpoint and workmanship.  The people who did the work were extremely professional, personable and hard-working.  Daily, someone from Legend would stop to check the job and insure all of our questions were completely addressed.  It is such an honor to recommend this company.  If you want to deal with a high-integrity company, quality product, excellent customer service and workmanship, look no further than Legend Flooring.

We recently had Legend Flooring replace the tile in our home. From start to finish the experience has been great! The owner, Doug, came over and gave us a quote right there and then. No waiting. He was very honest and professional. A week later we put down the deposit and the install was scheduled not long after. The group of guys that came to remove our old tile were very professional and clean. They made sure to cover our cabinets and other things that couldn't be moved to minimize the dust from the demolition. The tile installers were equally as wonderful to work with. They were so polite and respectful of our home. My husband works from home and the guys were never loud or disruptive and you would hardly know they were there. They explained things to us throughout the project and stayed on track with the timeline we were given. The end product turned out phenomenal! These guys took their time and did a fantastic job. The tile cuts and precision is far better than I've ever seen. We couldn't be more pleased with our entire experience. We would highly recommend Legend Flooring. We will use them for all of our future projects and will be recommending them to all our friends. Amazing company and customer service.

We had a flooring project that we originally went to Legend to have quoted. I ended up going with another company. I love to use small businesses and this other business seemed pretty hungry for the job (though they weren't cheaper or anything, Legend was priced very reasonably). We ended up having serious regrets. So many things they did that ended up driving up the cost of the project.

Fast forward to our next project and we went right back to Legend and it was perfect. Cost exactly what we were quoted and they even got it done in one day instead of the quoted two. Prices are super reasonable and they'll help out with design also, if you need it. Plus, we had to work with them and another company to time the steps of the project and they worked with us. Go to Doug, you won't regret it!

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS.  Didn't want to spend the time with a person doing a "small order".
I called to inquire about a specific tile yesterday and spoke to Wendy (owner's wife). She was very nice and took my order, called the supplier and called me back to let me know the supplier (deltile) had it on hand and I can pick up ASAP.  I went a head and called her back today to process the order and spoke to Mike (4 weeks on the job), he didn't know how to process a PO (all good..he's new).  Asks if he can call me back. It felt weird!! So I called deltile and found out that they don't have my product and it needs to be ordered.  Wendy calls me after I ask Mike to double check what he's ordering since I'm getting a discrepancy on availability, she asks me to send her a pic of the label on the box, I sent.  Doug (owner) calls me back, starts to down talk me a bit, tells me we refunded your payment and explains that there's no way I can get the same tile and that it can be a bit off (which I agree to a certain degree) and that he has been in the tile business for 25 years and has owned this company for 21. I start to cut him since I'm tied up a bit and he says "normally people appreciate me giving this info!!!" He suggests I take a piece of the tile I have and go down to his supplier to ensure I get the right tile. I tell him that I spoke to his supplier earlier and they can get it. He calls them and calls me back and says I sent you a new order. I notice from the info that he has the wrong size. I tell him do you mind if we call them together to confirm we're getting the right one and that I also need to add 2 more boxes.  He says "now you want me to start the po over?!"  I tell him that I'm a buyer and he's a seller, so he has an option to sell, if he doesn't, so be it!!  He says fine.. (sounded like my child when I ask him to do something he doesn't want to do). Then he says I can't invest anymore time on this since he has several POs in his hand and I'm making a "small purchase".  I tell him now you said the wrong words and I will not buy from him... he hangs up on me.  
Funny that I called deltile after they ordered everything I need and confirmed that my info is correct.  
Doug felt that I'm a small client because of my purchase. What this "25 years of experienced business owner" doesn't know is that I'm an investor with a lot of experience and own quite a bit of properties and have plenty of jobs coming; which he lost out on.  During these uncertain times, be nice to ur customer Mr. Experience!! You're lucky you have jobs going now...take the time to take care of clients...you never know who you're dealing with!!

I don't recommend this business at all!!!!

You didn't make me "feel" like a small client... Doug told me "he didn't have time to deal with my small order".   Thanks but no thanks... I called your supplier and got the order completed in 4 min... not sure why it was taking you guys 7 hours... good luck!

Great company to work with. We had a small job that no one else was willing to do. They were willing to do it and did a great job! I would highly recommend this company.

We used Legend Flooring to rip out some carpet in our new house, replace it with tile and install plantation shutters. There were two significant challenges to the tile installation: a curved wall and how to transition between existing bathroom tile and the darker color we chose for the bedrooms. Unbelievable cutting for the tile against the curve, it's perfect, see picture. For the color transitions, Doug Lentz, the owner designed a bespoke mosaic which mixed both, producing something truly lovely. The shutters are so wonderful!  Beautiful additions to the house with fantastic, accurate installations. Everything is aligned so perfectly. Great work! Doug's commitment to quality is obvious and his teams are great!

An outstanding company that does what so few do these days, provide not just customer service, but excellent customer service.

We had 800sf of porcelain tile planks purchased and installed for a couple hundred more than what other companies were quoting for installation alone.  

We were expecting it to go well into the following week but they worked all day Saturday and Sunday, wrapping up Monday morning.  

We couldn't be happier with the work that was done and highly recommend Legend Flooring, especially if you are wanting to get rid of that nasty carpet you've had since you moved into your house.

We worked with Legend  Flooring to replace most of the flooring in our house. Their pricing saved us $3000 compared to another quote we received. The owners were very helpful through the entire process, from helping us narrow down our selections in the show room to scheduling, demo and install.  The installers were very nice, respectful of our space and did beautiful work and the owner of the company stopped by one of the days to oversee how the job was coming along. We will definitely use this company again for future remodeling projects.

I had a problem with one of my shutters long after they were installed seven years ago.  I called Legend flooring & Doug came to my home, saw the problem and with no hesitation said they would replace the shutter.  It wasn't long before they installed a new one which fit perfectly.
Now, that's what you call excellent customer service and a company with integrity.  I highly recommend the company, you won't go wrong!

Doug and  Wendy are the best! It was truly a pleasure working with them on the install of 4 bedrooms and 5 closets. Their pricing is very fair. They are low pressure but very hands on during the selection process. They know their products and which product/color is the best fit for their clients. I can not say enough about my experience.

Doug and Wendy were so wonderful to deal with at Legend Flooring.  I can not say enough about the crew that came in to put the wood plank tile in our home.  We had the main floor, approx 3,000sqft, of our home done while our family took up residence in our basement.  They were absolutely amazing... they know their stuff and their work is impeccable, just pure perfection.  Their cuts around baseboard etc. were spot on.  They were incredibly polite and courteous while in our home, always making sure we had a way to get to our basement. :-)  They did a wonderful job cleaning up and making sure we were happy every step of the way.  As you can see I can't say enough about how very impressed I was.  They certainly take great pride in their work.  Thank you so very much.... we luv our new flooring!

The first floor of our home was flooded.  The remediation company we originally hired refused to do the repairs for the money my insurance company allotted so we were forced to hire separate contractors to make the repairs.  I found Legend Flooring online and was immediately taken with the fact that it was a smaller company.  From the word go, Doug ensured us that he could repair / replace the flooring in our home reasonably and within the amount that my insurance company offered for such.  Doug was a true pleasure to do business with and every aspect of the process went smoothly - from the first meeting to the completed work.  Doug went out of his way to fit our home in as quickly as he could in his schedule which was very much appreciated.  We couldn't be happier with the end result.
