Our 25-year-old Chinese Elms had grown taller than our two-story house and the past monsoons had taken out two fairlly large branches. It was time to do something.
One of our neighbors had recently had three trees tirmmed and the company that did the job cut all three trees back to just the trunk and some stubs. I didn't call that company.
Another neighbor across the street had his tree trimmed a few months ago. While we talked in his front yard I got to watch the crew trimming his tree. They did a great job. I called them.
That company was Core Tree Service.
The responce to my request for an estimate was very fast.
All text messages from me after that about scheduling a date, and a time, were answered proptly.
On the day they were to arrive between 8 and 9 AM they were just a few minutes late. If I had checked my phone I would have seen the text telling me they were going to be a few minutes late due to a flat tire.
They did a great job and were open to my suggestions and requests while they were working on my trees. They even honored my request to cut up some of the larger branches so I could use them for my backyard fireplace. All of the larger branches were cut into about 12-inch-long pieces and they stacked them along the backyard wall at the side of my house!
Then they finished by blowing off all debris from the front yard.
I could not have asked for better or more from a company.

I've had Core Tree come out about once a year since my initial review to have my trees trimmed way back. They have done a fantastic job every time and this most recent visit is no different. This year's monsoon season was just crazy for me personally. The storms over the summer into September and October have just wreaked havoc on the house. My poor Jacaranda tree had a large part of it damaged and I needed Core Tree to come out sooner than I originally planned.

JR was able to visit pretty fast after calling him. During the visit, hubby and I expressed our desire to save the Jacaranda and JR reassured us that it was definitely salvageable. JR suggested that we fertilize the Jacaranda as it has not been doing well over the years which we accepted in the hopes of it coming back better than ever. I also asked for our big Mulberry tree to be trimmed back as usual to round out the work order.

I am so pleased with the end results. Once you see my pictures, you will understand why I am a repeat customer. Thank you Core Tree for taking care of us!

When we moved into our home we had our trees professionally trimmed by another company. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed with their service as we could hardly tell the trees had been trimmed. Given our experience we were hesitant to hire another company and waited over 3 years. However, with monsoon season around the corner we knew we needed to take action and contacted several companies. Core Tree Service had the fastest response time and soonest availability. We were scheduled within a week. The team arrived on time, were professional, speedy, and took care to avoid damage to our property. We plan to use them on an annual basis to maintain our tree care and would recommend them to anyone looking for tree trimming.

Ed and his team did a fantastic job removing a big Ash tree hanging over our house. They responded immediately, came out to the property, and gave us a very affordable quote.

Because of the location of the tree, a crane was needed to remove the tree piece by piece. They were extremely thorough removing a giant stump, and eliminating all the roots. We're now able to build an additional room where the tree used to be.

I would highly recommend Core Tree Service to anyone in need of tree removal on the their property.

Professional, friendly, hard-working, fair prices and thorough.

I had a huge 50+ year old Eucalyptus tree that needed to be removed for foundation issues. The tree removal itself went quickly and smoothly. The team always had control of the falling debris and I never felt at risk of any damages. They even accommodated us and put in extra effort with a special request we had.

The final product after tree removal and stump grinding looked great.

I was unable to fit all the work I wanted into my budget, but once I am ready for the next stage, there is no doubt I will be using Core Tree Service again.

Jr and his team went over and beyond my expectations. I had a 50 year old mimosa to be fertilized and trimmed badly, a mulberry tree being removed/stump grinder, and a Chinese elm that need to be trimmed as well. 4 very nice came and they divided and conquered. All three trees were done in 2 1/2 hours and the clean up made my yard look better than before they came! I highly recommend them to anyone in the area.

WOW!!! These guys are FANTASTIC, beyond what I would call great or even imagined. Two big trees, trimmed to perfection almost like specimen trees. That's how artistic and proficient these guys are!

One hour & 7 minutes start to final cleanup‼‼ JR & his crew rocked cutting back the tree in the front yard, cutting off the tree exactly how I wanted it in between the houses and cutting the neighbor's trees so they won't hang over the wall and shed leaves & crap into the pool. They cleaned up so well you can't even tell they chipped everything right in front of the house.

Every year, I've had to find yet another company to do our annual palm tree maintenance and every year I've had some issue (whether scheduling, cost, quality, or attitude) that caused me not to go back to the same company. Not this time! This crew was responsive, gave us an upfront price, fit us into their schedule quickly, arrived on time, did the job fast and well, and just seemed like really nice, professional guys. In preparation for this year's monsoon season, which has thus far been more of a 'nonsoon', I made several calls to multiple tree trimming outfits, trying to find someone to get a couple of large trees pruned back to the property line. You'd think this would be an easy thing to accomplish, but I found it incredibly difficult to get someone to take my money.

To provide but a sampling, here are the ones I can recall from memory: Hayward Tree services couldn't even set an appointment, insisting on taking a message and calling me back, Radley's never answered their phone or responded to multiple voicemails, Harris and Sons did a drive-by and never got out of the car before giving an exorbitant estimate, Terry's Tree Service never picked up their phone or responded to voicemails, Mike Macchiaroli was backed up for over two months and Tidy Tree Trimming told me they basically don't trim residential trees anymore. You can't make this shit up folks.

So, imagine my delight when JR at Core Tree Service actually picked up the phone, was able to come out the same day for an estimate, and return a few days later to do all the work I needed! Never in a million years would I have thought it would be this difficult to get someone to trim a couple of trees. Prices were fair and there was no attempt to up-sell or anything else. Another thing I liked was that JR came out personally with his crew and made sure everything we discussed during the estimate was taken care of. I appreciated that very much, because miscommunication with a job like this can have lasting consequences, especially on mature trees.

JR and his crew were prompt, worked quickly and took care of everything I needed. I would definitely call them again, because unlike so many of the others, JR and his crew actually wanted and appreciated my business.

Me and my wife are really glad have Core Tree Service trimmed our big trees in backyard. They look much more beautiful now and I have several before and after photos here. So a couple of years ago I had my trees trimmed by a company that was very expensive and didn't do a good job. This year I decided that instead of paying $350 every other year I would have it thinned and cut back. I contacted Core at 9:00 a.m. He said he would be there at 12:45. He was on time I did my best to explain what I wanted the next day he came back with his crew and quickly got the job done. Perfecto! Not only would I recommend this company to you but friends and family!

Prompt response, reasonable quote.
Had some difficulty connecting as he missed first appointment window 9:30-11:30 on a Saturday and lost my phone number (it was in phone calls, texts and the initial request). The screen shot he sent of the phone call attempts didn't show any calls until nearly 5PM on Saturday.
When I messaged him Monday he apologized and came out promptly.
Did a great job - fast, professional and a great job cleaning up.
It would be five stars except for the communication mishap.

I love this company! I was worried about the health of 2 trees planted 3 years ago. I contacted this company based on the Yelp reviews. I had forgotten that I had used them in the past and received amazing service! They gave me excellent FREE advice. My trees will live! I had a 30 ft, 40 year old eucalyptus tree that I needed removed from my backyard. Multiple limbs were hanging dangerously over my and my neighbors houses so I needed a trust worthy and insured company to take it down. From start to finish this company did an amazing job. The owner was prompt in answering all my questions and concerns. I had called 3 other places for quotes 1 never showed up and the other 2 quotes were outrageous. They beat every other company by a mile. When they arrived they didn't just start randomly cutting limbs off. They planned out each step and took their time to ensure no damage would occur to my property and those around me. They were extremely courteous in cleaning up and did the job correctly from start to finish, which took over 10hrs. I would highly recommend this company for any job.

I reached out to 5 tree companies who all had good reviews on Yelp. Core was one out of two that responded quickly to me and came out to give me an estimate. They were not the cheapest but were willing to match another quote. Even though they didn't match like they said they would, I have them the business. The two gentlemen that came out did a great job and cleaned up the mess before they left. Very happy with my trees!

Since I did not have a referral I went to yelp and read the comments. I think it is important to commend a service so that others can benefit.
I called on Sunday mid after noon and JR from Core Tree Service picked up the phone right away and scheduled a bid for the next day, Monday morning. He was prompt and kept me advised me by text of his ETA. His bid was extremely reasonable and he had his crew over the next morning to take out 8 trees. His crew was timely, courteous, fast, professional and clean. Start to finish less than 3 hours! I would not hesitate to highly recommend this service based on my experience

Said he would come by to give me a quote per our phone conversation and haven't heard back from him after a follow up text. Maybe it's because we only had one tree to trim and he wants big jobs only????

After my post we received a call from the owner to come by which he did the next day. Price was not competitive however for one tree and we were able to have our one tree trimmed for 1/2 the price he quoted the next day.

Core Tree Service was the only business who came to the home to give me an estimate. Junior was knowledgeable and gave me prices per tree and bushes for trimming and removal. I accepted and he set up a time within three business days for the team to arrive. They arrived on time and did a beautiful job trimming four trees, removing 3 bougainvilleas and planting three petite oleanders. They also found a hummingbird nest with eggs and worked around it. I think they are fair priced and we will ask them to return next year for any needed updated trimming.

Jr. knows trees. He responded within 24 hours to offer a quote to remove a tree and prune a tree before monsoon season began. Prices were fair and work commenced within a few days. Super timely quote, which was in line with what I expected it be around. Precision removal of a huge mulberry that was dying and leaning (but in full leaf) over/towards a mobile home. Crew was super fast and efficient. Owner Al said it would take about 3 hours - it took about 3 hours. No damage to the home, tree removed to ground level. Area left without a branch, twig or leaf left in sight.

Look no further than this company if you need trees removed super quick. A+++ Can't recommend enough. Payment by check, CC, Paypal - whatever. Easy as pie. Super great communication from start to finish.

I sent a request for an estimate to trim my two queen palms and a palo verde on Saturday night and heard back from AL that night! After sending some pictures to him on Sunday morning he called and told me what I needed to do and that everything actually looked really good. All three trees needed minimal work and that aside from a few low branches in the palms, I really needed nothing done.
I would recommend him and his company for any services you need. He was very honest which is a hard quality to find these days. He easily could have said I needed $500 worth of work done, when I didn't. And I wouldn't know any different! I will be calling him in the future for tree work and I think I am now a customer for life!!

I needed a small palm tree removed in my backyard and found Core Tree Services through Yelp. I was able to quickly get a quote online and schedule service for the following week. We had a Palo Verde tree crack 3 limbs in a wind storm recently leaving tree branches in the street. I called a number of places and nobody but Core Tree Service would respond to the emergency the next day. They came out the next day, wrote a quote for a cleanup only option and tree removal option. They did the cleanup immediately and came back at a more convenient time for the full tree removal. They were fast, fair priced, and communicated all options clearly. Highly recommended and would certainly use them again if the need arises.

THIS IS THE COMPANY TO HIRE for all your tree trimming needs! JR and his crew are professional, thorough, and efficient! JR came over to give us an estimate the day I called which was pretty amazing since I couldn't get any other company to come over for a week.

When they arrived, they immediately accessed what they needed to do to trim the very large, overgrown, mesquite tree in our backyard, and the several branches that were hanging over the neighbor's yards. My husband and I couldn't believe how well they worked together and how efficient they trimmed the tree. It looked so much better than we imagined it would and they did more than we expected.

When they were done, they thoroughly cleaned the neighbor's yards and our yard so that you couldn't tell they had been there. They even took an extra large dead branch that fell off of our other trees.

I want to thank JR and the crew for a job very well done! I would highly recommend this company!

My entire dealings with this company, from start to finish, was easy, uncomplicated and refreshing. They came out to give me a quote(and were on time), showed up on the selected day to do the trimming and left everything clean and tidy upon completion of the job. I had them trim a very large eucalyptus tree and now am happy that I do not have to worry about a branch falling and injuring one of my animals. The crew of guys that showed up were respectful and careful to not let the falling branches damage any of the fencing or structures below the tree. I will definitely be using them in the future!

I had two massive dead mulberry trees on my newly purchased property. They gave me a reasonable quote and were on the job site within a week. They saved me a headache, since those trees were intruding upon the neighbors property, a power line, and my roof. The only thing they don't do is stump grinding, but I did that myself and it was easy with a rented grinder. Thanks, Core Tree Service!

This company was going around my neighborhood setting up appointments for tree trimming without speaking to the homeowner. I had a handwritten advertisement on my door with a date and cost of treetrimming. I was not home and they did not speak to me.

I will not pay this. This is extremely dishonest of a sales method. Be careful!

I don't normally take the time to write reviews however, I must acknowledge the outstanding professional service provided by Core Tree service.
Originally I scheduled trimming of my trees with another company who was a no-show the week before. I should call them and thank them for not showing up because I would not have found this company. After that experience I got a few quotes from a few other companies. My neighbors used Core Tree Service and could not speak more highly of them. Their bid was very fair and competitive with the other bids I had received so I decided to go by my neighbors recommendation and try them out.
I have very large mature trees that have not been trimmed at all in 20 years. A mulberry tree, a Pecan tree, an elm tree, grapefruit tree, and a large oleander tree. This was quite a big job.
Bernardo, The owner of the company took time to really listen as to exactly how I wanted the trees trimmed. I can be very particular and was very nervous about The whole project as I have heard nightmare stories about other companies.
Bernardo and his crew did an outstanding job! In spite of my nitpicking Bernardo remained professional and eager to make sure the job was completed to my liking. He completely exceeded my expectations. The trees look amazing! They went above and beyond the cleanup process by even blowing and picking up debris that was not caused by the trimming. I could go on and on but the five stars says it all. Like I said my project was a big one with some very large very overgrown trees. The price was more than fair the work done was perfection. I will be recommending Bernardo and Core Tree Service to all of my friends and family. You will be in good hands if you choose Core tree service!!!!

What a great job they did and their prices are competitive. It didn't take long for them to come to the house and give an estimate. We have a HUGE mesquite tree that had a LOT of dead branches underneath it weighing it down. It now looks like a different tree. (wish I had pictures)They also trimmed three other trees and two palms. Then cut down a large tree that was slowing dying. Everything was cleaned up nicely afterward. Core Tree Service was at my home today to remove 3 trees. I tried several times to get a lower estimate. The estimate was 1200. I agreed to it because the largest tree was pushed up against my house. I had no choice. I saw the good reviews on here and figured this is the way to go. I thought about it over this past weekend and thought if I cut down the smallest tree then maybe he'd cut some of the price off. I asked him today when they began working if he'd shave some of the cost off because I cut down one of the trees myself. He said no. Why am I being charged still to cut down 3 trees when only 2 were left for you? Blew my mind. Especially when I gave you the last of my savings. I'm extremely upset over this detail. So we moved from Flag back in May and the home we bought had some crazy trees in the front yard. I called a few places and Core just had amazing reviews so I had to call. That same day I had an estimate from Junior and it was definitely reasonable. I asked about payment and he said pay if you like it. What!!?? What kind of company does that???? An amazing one. Had our trees scheduled for the next Monday and I came home and I was in Awe. The trees look fantastic and could not have been happier. Choose these people. You won't regret it!!! Called to get an estimate for having my 45' overgrown cypress tree removed from the back corner of my backyard. JR was very professional and knew exactly how to go about it, being that it was in the corner, growing over two of my neighbors yards. He wasn't pushy at all either, about getting the job. I waited a week or two before calling him to do the job. When they came, they first cleared everything on my patio (furniture, Malibu lights) out of the way, then cut the tree down, removed all of the big pieces, cleaned up the mess from the tree, and made sure they placed my furniture and lights where they moved them from. They also were sure to clean whatever fell into my neighbors yards. I was very impressed with the politeness of his workers as well as their concern for getting everything done correctly. JR's price was reasonable also. I'll definitely hire them again.

During the last storm a big mesquite tree in our front yard uprooted. Didn't fall but it looked like it would have if another big wind came. Made a call the next morning to Core Tree Service, left a message, called back 30 minutes later,explained what happened, they came out a couple of hours later and looked at tree and gave me an estimate to thin out the tree, as it was to top heavy. I wanted to save the tree, if at all possible. Booked an appt for their next available opening. Although they were late , after calling them they did let me know they were running behind but would still be there. It was a busy week from storm damage in the area and didn't think I could get anything done this fast. The crew did a very good job and apologized for being late but the jobs they had took longer than expected. I am happy that the tree is still there.

I think this company changed ownership recently. Website shows owner as Al but it is JR now. He is not organized at all. He messed up the quote appointment and came on the wrong day. Then after coming back on the right day, he has yet to give me the quote.( 3 weeks now) I have called him 3 times to ask him to email me the quote. Each time he says he will.....but then doesnt. One time on the phone he said he'll get it to me and it is under $2000. Next he sends me an email saying he will send me the itemized quote and the total is $2600. What? And I am STILL waiting for that itemized quote. Obviously i wont be hiring this company.

LOOK NO FURTHER! This company is awesome! From the consultation, to the price, to the service, to the follow up. This company is top notch! Great communication and BEST price in town. CORE was able to fit me in on short notice because they had a cancellation. They were very responsive in getting me a quote for the project. The young men showed up and were well organized and attentive to keeping my yard clean and pants unharmed while taking down a huge Palo Verde for us. They gave us a very fair price in removing one tree and getting another trimmed, and even left me with an actual paper bid with details of the job, I appreciate that so much. They did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. We have used other services in the valley over the years but will certainly always call these boys next time we need our tree trimmed. If you need a tree removed, call Core Tree Service first. They were prompt with an estimate (within 2 hours JR arrived). They removed a huge, old tree from our Phoenix back yard a few days later. We were impressed with their safety measures and cleanliness. They were careful to NOT let limbs and leaves fall in our neighbor's yard while working. If we need more tree work done, we will call Core Tree Service.

I can see why this company has all five star ratings!! This company and crew are fabulous! We have a Palo Brea tree (the ones with the horrible prickers) and the team did a wonderful job trimming and thinning it out! Prices were very fair and the cleanup was spotless. Al's team was great; cut down my 20+ feet Indian Rosewood tree in about an hour and cleaned up so thoroughly. Even my very picky tenant was highly pleased. Highly recommend to anyone. Please note, that I had spoken to so many tree guys in the area, many of whom were Fly by Nighters who gave me ridiculous estimates (much higher than my NY prices) either because I am an out of town landlord or I am a female, many had no insurance, or just didn't return my phone calls. Al was fair and professional. Will recommend him to my friend.

Al and team trimmed two palm trees for me a couple of weeks ago. I am very pleased with the whole experience from initial contact for a quote to completion of the job. I was without a phone for a few days and was able to set everything up for the quote and service over email. Al always responded quickly and was able to give me a quote the next day. My husband and I are relocating to AZ so we were totally in the blind about hiring different trades. This was my first experience with Yelp! I left an email message for Al who promptly responded that day. We arranged a time to meet and discuss different options for our citrus tree. Wow,
First I have never met Al, I have never worked or have known of Core Tree services. With that said, Al was super nice and gave me a great tip and free advice about a chinese grapefruit tree. I really thought it needed to be trimmed, but low and behold it is just fine. He very well could have trimmed and charged me for unnecessary work but did not.

Bottom line, If his work is as good as his advice you have one winner here folks!

Highly recommend! I had only one pretty tall Canary Island Date Palm that needed to be trimmed and after seeing other same trees in my neighborhood that were butchered by regular landscapers I went on my Next Door neighborhood sight for a reference. Core had been used by several with good reviews so I gave them a call. JR (owner) and I agrees over the phone on what I considered a fair price since I wanted a company with a cherry picker bucket to properly clean out the pods in the center of the tree. Climbers really can't do that well on this species of tree without taking too many of the outside branches and leaving it looking scalped. I did tell him there was no hurry and just let me know when he would be in the area. He did a fantastic job on my tree and the area was cleaned up well on completion. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend to others. This is really a busy time of year for what he does so I did check back with him a couple times before he could get to me.....just wanted to be sure he didn't lose my information.

Did a lot of research on getting my tree trimmed. It was way past due. Called around/emailed several places for prices. Even went on Craigslist. They were the cheapest professional service and only a little more then the Craigslist prices. After showing my wife the before and after pictures on their website we both decided this was the way to go. Emailed pictures to JR and got responses right away with a price. Explained I work Mon-Fri and he said not a problem his crew doesn't need me home to complete the job that I can pay him after the project was finished. He accepts Paypal payments on his website with no extra fees. I got home today and wow the tree looks great. It makes my entire yard look different. They did a great job cleaning up and left the area looking even better then when they arrived. I will be using them for yearly service now.

I needed 4 very tall palm trees cut down. I contacted 5 services, Core Tree Services was one of two that returned my call/inquiry. Al was right on top of it; when I told him I wanted to go with his service, he was there the next day. I was out of town when they came, and he ran into a little dilemma on how to cut down one of the trees without upsetting my neighbor. He immediately called me and after the conversation decided to just to with the 3. That night he sent me a detailed email describing the situation. I responded saying I would still like him to cut the 4th tree down, if possible. Within a week, Al and his team came up with a solution, came back and cut the tree down. The yard was cleaner than when they arrived. I appreciate the follow up and the extra steps Al went to handle the situation and finish the job!

Called Al for a quote to have a tree removed. He asked I send a picture. I sent a picture of the entire tree with our house in the background for a reference and a picture of the trunk with some paver bricks near for a size reference. Al quoted me $500-600. We scheduled the appointment. I stayed home the day the job was to be done. Instead of showing up to remove the tree I get a text saying sorry going to be $1200. Really Al? You double the price the day of the job? Wow and that works for you? Customers say oh sure Al, I'll pay you twice as much just please, please take down my tree? Unbelievable! Dont waste your time with Core Tree Service!

I was very hopefully for this company when I emailed and got scheduled for an onsite appointment fairly quickly to look at the trees in my yard. We had 10-15 trees that needed addressed (some trimmed, some removed, some stump grind). I spoke to JR before we even got started and asked for an itemized estimate as we may do it in phases due to construction on our home as well as we hadn't decided on some tree getting rid of completely vs trimming vs stump grinding so we had lots of scenarios based on cost of said items. JR was very nice taking notes and providing input. At the end I asked for a ballpark of cost based on everything we talked about and he said it would be $1800. I said okay and confirmed we would be getting an itemized receipt to show the break down. JR confirmed. Around 7pm that night I got an email form Bernado saying the cost would be $1800 with no further information. I emailed back asking for itemized breakdown especially since we knew weren't doing the palm trees till June as they cant be trimmed right now anyways per the company. So we didn't even know if the palm tree price was in that quote or separate. After 2 days no response. I emailed them again and Bernado said he doesn't know why it was sent. Again 2 days no response. I cant speak to the quality of work but as far as communication follow through was poor. Also how can a company expect you to pay a certain dollar amount without explaining what is included given you spoke about several scenarios. It would be irresponsible to just accept that number and then have the work done not to full expectation as a full listing of items was not clarified. Will not be using Core tree for my services as they clearly don't need my business due to lack of response.

Bernardo the owner returned my call right away and we communicated further with email and I was very impressed with professionalism during the free estimate, with no pressure for additional services. Fred the arborist came on-time just as scheduled with 2 assistants and all of them had a professional appearance and wore helmet and safety belt when pruning, and did a thorough and careful job and clean-up, utilizing a wood chipper. He made sure he did exactly what I wanted, offered professional advice, carefully used pruning saws and didn't come out hacking with a chainsaw and trimmed with a hedge trimmer like so many before him had done. Following the natural lines of the tree, Fred pruned my palo verde so it now has a non-amputated appearance and looks like a tree rather than a big hedge. I wished it could have cost less, but it was explained why it cost what it did and I was pleased that a cash discount was offered.

This is our first experience with Core Tree Service.
From beginning to end,Al was absolutely great. His knowledge and care for both the customer and trees are exceptional. He gave one of the most affordable, reasonable estimates to take care of 3 large (20-25') trees, as well as removing some older dying trees. Our local tree trimmer wouldn't touch our yard, but thank you to Al and his absolutely phenomenal team, everything was completed in very short time, with a great cleanup/care for our property. They were good, just with some minor hiccups. Requesting and scheduling a quote to trim our Sisso went smooth. I was told they could come out same day for quote but we didn't end up with quote until the following day. Quote seemed fair, but I was waiting for several others to come back before I scheduled. Once I decided to schedule, they were able to fit me in within a week - no big deal. But I was not given a time the crew would show, not even a window until they called the night before (not everybody works from home). They did show on time the day of, and worked quickly taking the time to answer our questions and address our concerns. However, the crew that showed didn't have a blower to clean up the yard after they were done and had to send another crew later in the day to finish. I also never received any formal quote or final invoice, I had to have a crew member sign a note proving I paid them. Other than that, the tree looks much better and will probably use them again.

Highly recommend Core Tree Service. I needed 2 palm trees removed from my backyard. (appx 3 stories high) I called 5 companies on a Sat. and Bernardo was the only one that actually answered his phone. I sent him pics of the trees, we agreed on a price, and Bernardo and crew showed up on Monday and the palms were gone and everything was cleaned up in about 2 hours. (including the debris that had fallen into my neighbors backyard) What was really commendable as well is the fact that his dump truck that they would have used to load the tree trunk sections into had transmission issues that morning and had to go into the shop for repairs. At that point Bernardo could have easily called me to re-schedule but he did not. Bernardo kept his word and showed up with his crew, only with a trailer instead of his dump truck. That means the tree trunk sections had to be hand loaded not only at my residence but also unloaded by hand out of the trailer which was more work than if he had the dump truck. Great Professionalism all the way! Thank you Bernardo and crew!

I have used this crew twice now and I have nothing but good things to say. They are prompt to answer my messages through yelp and very flexible when it comes to scheduling. This group was the only ones that I was able to get them within days compared to other companies that I would have had to wait for a week minimum to get my trees taken care off. They are very puntual, do their job in a timely manner and clean after themselves. Their prices are the most reasonable I found around the valley. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had 6 estimates to remove my tree that was blown down as a result of a Micro-burst that hit the Surprise area on 8/4/2018. Core responded and gave me an estimate of $2,000, which didn't include removing the stump. When I advised the person that I had another bid of $750, which included removing the stump. The person laughed and mocked that offer, and, said he estimated 2 days to remove the tree. I'm retired Law Enforcement and am aware that there are companies who will take advantage of people who need help because of an unforeseen event. Core Tree Service is an example of a company who chooses to gouge people, especially in an emergency. The company that gave me the $750 bid, Jonzy Landscaping, removed the tree and stump in 5 hours, which included their lunch break. I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking of using Core to get other estimates first. I would definitely NOT recommend Core

I helped my father who is 88 years old , find a tree service , we had a couple of other companies give us quotes .We decided to go with core and Bernardo because of the review I read on yelp . We had 2 huge shoe string acacias in the backyard that needed to be removed, and two huge mesquites in the front that needed to be trimmed , extremely .The price they quoted us was very reasonable compared to the other quotes we got. Bernardo and his crew were very professional and worked together impressively . They all seemed to know just what to do , very organized .They seemed to work very safe also . We had a huge sweet acacia tree along with 4 oleander trees we needed removed. We have never worked with Core Tree Service before, but the reviews were outstanding. Well, I'm here to confirm what all others have already said. OUTSTANDING service. Prompt, quick service, and impeccable clean-up. We called in the morning, they had someone out that afternoon for an estimate; they did the work the next day They were entirely done just about noon. Their service just can't be beat. In addition to removing the trees, they also ground the tree stumps and back-filled the holes. Just want to start by saying that this is the first time in over a year that I've been happy to look at the side portion of my backyard! We have been in our house for about three years now and had a huge Indian Rosewood in the corner of the yard between the two house. It was a beautiful tree and provided great shade (which will be missed) in the summer months for my bbq area in the late afternoons. Like I said, beautiful tree, except we never watered it and it stayed green and produced new branches every year. To me, that means it was stealing water from somewhere! Found CORE TREE SERVICES online, and after talking to JR, found out they service many of my neighbors! I went on to try and get other companies out for bids to have the tree cut down, but it seemed that the others were to busy to get out for just an estimate. JR came out the same day I called for service, explained every step to me and gave me a very good price to have the tree cut down and ground down, an oleander stump ground down, and trim a tree in my front yard. If I didn't live here, I wouldn't even know they had been to my house! The crew did a great job taking the tree down and even cleaning up the surrounding areas. They even cleaned up my neighbors front yard where the tree was dropping the leaves on the ground. It seemed like every time I would take the rocks of leaves, there would be more within a few minutes to make it look like nothing had been done! Now, I have a portion of my yard that I can start to utilize, fire wood for my small fire pit, and something that isn't stealing water from somewhere and causing damage. Now it's time to see what kind of damage the roots are doing to my sewage and supply lines!

Al Rosetti was referred to me to trim two tall palm trees and one queen palm tree. Fantastic experience. Al got back to me the same day I originally reached out to him and came out for a quote within a couple days. Very reasonable price and the job was completed within a week. My wife was very impressed because they left our backyard cleaner than when they arrived. She said they picked up every little piece of the queen palm fronds in the grass. My 15-year-old mesquite tree was healthy and well shaped, but just getting way too large for the space. Al came out and discussed options with me, pointing out that the trimming I wanted would be nearly as much as removal. When I explained that I wanted to keep this mature tree for the shade it provided, he understood completely and explained how it could be trimmed to minimize debris falling into the pool while still providing needed shade. He scheduled an appointment for a few days later, and arrived with his crew right on schedule. They completed the work quickly, even asking for my opinion about trim more/trim less? which was much appreciated. They finished the job in 90 minutes and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. He charged a fair price and did a GREAT job!

June 2016 I sent Core Tree Service and email to ask about doing a job at my home. Within an hour Allen (Al), contacted me. The next day he was here to give me an estimate. Honestly, I was extremely happy with the price he gave me. He and his crew were here the next day to do the job. I had a huge tree right next to my block wall. The tree had long since over grown into the neighbors yard as well. The crew were EXCELLENT. No, I'm not kidding. EXCELLENT. I was very concerned about the HUGE limbs coming down on the block wall, my plants, and the pavers on the patio and side walk as well as the yard lighting fixtures. Nothing was damaged at all. The guys were amazing. No limbs came crashing down. The guy up in the tree, carefully grabbed each limb and guided it down into a safe area.
The yard was cleaned up and the job was over. There is nothing that these guys didn't do to make sure the job was done correctly. The work was done quickly and with all the care that was humanly possible. The price was well within reason. I highly recommend these guys. Hopefully, you will get the same crew I had. WOW !

I called Core Tree Services and spoke with Al to let him know what we needed done. He was at our house the very next day to give us a quote. After several quotes we decided to go with Al and his crew and we couldn't be happier. They trimmed 3 trees and removed 2 small trees. They were very professional and got the job done quickly.
