Best Tree Services in Phoenix, AZ

Received a reply to my request within 30 minutes.  An appointment was scheduled for the following week to give us an estimate.  Andy walked the property with us and made recommendations on what needed to be done to keep the trees healthy.  He was very thorough and professional.  The same day  quote we received was a good value for the work we needed done.   The tree trimming was scheduled for 10  days later.  The crew arrived right on time and did an amazing job with our 3 very large trees - one Sissoo and 2 Argentine Mesquites.   The trees look beautiful, and every piece of debris was blown, swept, and removed.    The crew was personable, professional and efficient.  I would highly recommend them to anyone needing to have their trees trimmed.   We have our trees done every year and we will definitely have them back.

Friday night a storm took down a large portion of a 70 ft +/- pine tree that is in our front yard with part of it close to our house. Called Heartwood on Saturday and the owner Howard was out here Sunday to assess the situation and provide an estimate. What I appreciated about Howard was that he was taking care of other customers and contacting me throughout the day to let me know that he was still coming once he finished with his other customers. He was my third tree company who responded and provided estimates. Heartwood was extremely competitive in price, but what really sold us was his professionalism and honest assessment of our situation. He had his crew and a crane here the next day (today) and made a complicated removal look easy. What an efficient group of professionals that I would definitely use again and recommend. PS - Brittani who answered the phone was also wonderful.

Highly recommended! They saved my Carob trees from dying!! Kevin came out, trimmed up trees and gave me a detailed watering schedule. I felt like he was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what needed to be done.

Don't waste your time and money like I have - keep looking around for a lawn company that respects its customers and doesn't lie and threaten them.

Update (reply):  looks like you don't understand what it means to bear false witness against someone and then submit false documents on their behalf.  You will be held accountable for that evil should you act on it!  Careful.

I hate to echo Mark W's sentiments but our job was extremely rushed as well. We contacted COTOB to take out a tree in our front yard and grind the stump and trim a palm in our backyard. Scheduling was quick and easy. On the day of our appointment, one team came out to take care of the tree in the front and another team showed up to do the palm.

First team did a good job (although we did receive a follow up phone call asking if they left one of their blowers there which seemed a little odd) but the second team FLEW through trimming the palm which resulted in palm fronds taking out a number of my plants and breaking a sprinkler which prevented me from turning on my sprinklers for a few days which in the dead of summer isn't exactly ideal. (We called them immediately afterwards and they agreed to send out a sprinkler specialist so I have to give them credit for that but it should have been avoided in the first place.) My biggest concern with the palm trimming was the intensity in which they were throwing the palm fronds onto our electrical wires. We live in South Scottsdale and can see all of our neighbors lines very easily and our neighbors' lines were shaking nearly as much as ours.

We have two more palms that we need trimmed in our front yard and as much as I wanted to love COTOB and give them our continued business, the rushed work just makes me extremely nervous so we will most likely be calling another tree company in the area.
