If I could leave no stars I would. I have had an open complaint with Moon Valley since June. They refuse to address my concerns. I filed with the BBB and the representative from MV has lied to the BBB that they have been in contact with me and that I signed off on service calls. I was not at home both times a crew was sent out. The second crew was sent out because the sales person was NOT happy with the job when she drove down my street. I contacted 4 individuals within the organization and not one person has contacted me back. My complaint stemmed from the fact that they billed for services not provided. I agreed to pay for what was done..but not what wasn't. Beware..they take your money upfront and proclaim satisfaction guaranteed but if you have issue with work done...it's crickets. Many other nurseries out there that deserve your business over MV.

UPDATE: MV continues to provide false information to the BBB about this dispute. They have stated that I was present with all work and signed off on it. Easily disproven by my employment records. Besides poor customer service, add dishonest to the list. I will say that this may just be dishonesty of the one employee responding on behalf of the company to the BBB, but their actions are determining the companies reputation.

I have always got mine trees a Moon Valley. I never have any problems with them, and they grow so fast. I just got two more trees and Micah swinhart at 7 Street Phoenix help me, He went over the top helping me pick the trees I wanted. The Jay came to put the trees in and again over the top with information and helping me with other things I might look at doing. I thank both of these great guys. Moon Valley knows custom service. Just like the service we received with Steven of the purchase of our Mexican Palm, the tree maintenance that we signed up for dosen't disappiont. Josh

We met Marz today at Moon Valley Nursery! Let me tell you what an AMAZING EXPERIENCE we had. Yes, Marz truly was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!! :)
We set an appointment , which is super convenient when your time is limited and you want the most bang for the buck! We had a budget for our HOA we had to adhere to and Marz was extremely patient and showed us all the tree and shrub options available. He also adhere to match a price from a competitor. Way over the top positive experience.

We bought a non hedge Ficus from Moon Valley three years ago. It is truly flourishing but seemed to be growing at a bit of an angle. Moon Valley stepped up and sent crews to both trim the tree (to take some heft off )and a crew the next day to straighten the tree. Everyone at the Shop as well as both crews were totally professional. They showed up timely, did great work and were gone in no time. I highly recommend Moon Valley!

Extremely pleased with what Moon Valley Nursery did to my yard. They trimmed two large trees and removed two old dying trees. They also removed a very large tree stump. Lastly, they planted three new trees and 25 smaller plants around the perimeter of my yard. Very pleased with their work and would highly recommend MVN!!!!!

We had a great experience this week with our tree removal crew from Moon Valley Nurseries. The three crew members for tree removal, led by Humberto, were courteous, efficient and skilled. They removed a large, thorny acacia tree from our front yard in a bit over an hour. It is the thorniest, messiest tree ever, but their cleanup was so good no one could tell they had been there. The next day, the stump grinding crew arrived, led by Robert Wright, and also did an excellent and thorough job. We were also impressed with the company checklist that the crews are required to complete (of which we got a copy), to make sure everything was done properly. Check out our photos. We're super happy with this company and their skilled workers! Another team will be planting our brand new Desert Willow tree next week. Can't wait!

Timely, responsive and great work! Can't be more pleased with the work done. Highly recommend. Eric was the lead person who managed our cleanup. Everyone was courteous and they got right to work and finished in one day. The following day we had a crew come for stump removal and I'm sorry I didn't get anyones name but they were again courteous, prompt and did great work. Both crews made sure the yard was cleaned up and looking great!

We had a 35' tree in our backyard that was slowly leaning and losing limbs during storms. Whoever planted it, did so in the corner, too close to the fence.

John stopped by and noted that the tree was also infested by sharpshooters, and had several cracks that allowed rain water to collect, ultimately rotting the tree. We also discussed replacing the tree, and John helped us decide on the best species for our yard and where to plant it for maximum shade.

The crews that removed the tree and ground the stump were both friendly and professional. They took great care in safety and cleaning up each time.

We requested quotes from a couple of companies, and Moon Valley was the only one that stopped by to do an inspection. The others requested photos but that was never enough for a written quote. Moon Valley may not be the least expensive company, but you really do get what you pay for.

I spent thousands of dollars on 5 trees. I had to have everyone replaced, thank God for their warranty. They have no idea about root systems and if a tree is suited for your yard. I had to take 2 of the trees out or they would have lifted my curbing and my patio. Take heed, they are twice the price of anywhere else and do a song and dance. They have gone through so many managers and (tree experts) that present to know what they are talking about. BS they just want your money.

Although Arborist John Shipp verbally bid the tree trimming service to use a lift bucket truck, Erik and Ricardo were sent to my house with only a chipper. They toiled in the heat and humidity with alacritiy on the fruit tree in the back yard and the two Chinese Elm trees in the front of the house. They were both friendly and knowledgeable as they explained certain cuts of limbs and the shaping of the trees. Ricardo was particularly resourceful having to use a rope and harness, in lieu of the bucket, to ascend the tree for trimming. Their clean up of the limbs and debris was excellent. My experience with Moon Valley Nursery has been so easy even when I threw a wrench in the deal by adding work. They were able to get it scheduled with previously scheduled work and it was accomplished on the same day. You can't even tell I had trees in theses locations. They were organized and made short work removing the trees and grinding stumps. they cleaned all of the mess made and then some to leave my yard looking perfect. I am very pleased in their performance.

Just called in with an emergency tree trim and called Moon Valley tree trimmers. They were able to squeeze me in and I couldn't be happier. One of my large trees was branching on my roof and with all of this recent wind had loosened some tiles. Moon Valleys group climbed this monstrous tree and were able to trim all the branches touching the roof. They are true professionals they cleaned up all the trimmed branches and picked up all the leaves and left everything spotless. I would definitely recommend Moon Valley Tree service

He gave me a phone number to text pictures of the trees to, I sent the pictures he then requested a picture of the entire yard told him that is the entire yard. Moon Valley Tree fellas removed a very large grapefruit tree (taller than my house with a huge canopy) that had been in the ground since the 70's, I'd imagine. The tree had lived a good life but was on its last leg. The tree crew came out on a Friday and before they started, I told one of the guys that this was a hard decision for me to make and he reassured me I was going the right thing. He was very kind knowing that I felt bad for the tree (no judging! :-P ). They took the tree down all the way down to a small stump sticking out of the ground. Come Monday, the stump crew came out with a bob cat and removed every inch of the root system even making sure that they left the irrigation system sticking out of the ground so I'd not have to hunt it down when I plant there next. I had the chance to talk to one of the stump crew guys and he gave me suggestions on what to plant next. Super great guys and a job very well done.

My landscaper quoted me to install 2 palm type trees. I got tired of the lengthy time to get the job done. Decided to negotiate with Moon Nursery after past good experiences. I had them install 2 - 7' Pineapple Palms. The results were better than anticipated. My yard looked great after they left. Their 90 day guarantee and $100 worth of fertilizer, I felt I got a good deal and am totally satisfied.

This is our second time purchasing a Christmas Tree from Moon Valley. This year was very last minute - we walked onto the lot and were immediately greeted by a representative who wanted to know what our wants and needs were. As we were walking through the lot looking at tree options any other team member that noticed us smiled and said hello as well - you can tell they are focused on good customer service which is something that you don't see very often anymore so I really appreciated that. Leon checked us out and was very friendly, by the time we were done checking out our tree was cut, wrapped and already loaded in our vehicle. Thank you Moon Valley for a great experience!

We just had two large canary palms delivered to our property in north Scottsdale. The Moon Valley guys were amazing. I recently went to Moon Valley nurseries Surprise AZ location for a tree and some other plants to replace what we had lost from the extreme heat we had this summer. We needed a considerable amount of replacement plants and wanted to make sure we chose correctly to avoid repeat loss. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Mike Perez and Bianca who listened to what we were trying to accomplish and proceeded to walk us all over the property showing us our best options. They helped us pick the correct plants according to sun/shade exposure as well as keeping us in our price range. They were amazing. We purchased our plants and scheduled a date for our tree to be delivered and planted. The date of the delivery came and I called to confirm delivery and see if they could give me a time. Sheldon answered and proceeded to find out when my delivery was taking place and followed up with me later in the day to make sure we had been taken care of. When Michael (who is new to AZ from Chicago) and his delivery team arrived to plant our tree they were all wearing masks and planted our tree quickly and efficiently. Michael told me how to care for the tree over the next couple weeks and made sure I didn't have any questions before leaving. The overall professionalism of each person we encountered throughout this process was exceptional and extremely impressive. I don't make it a practice to take the time to leave reviews-positive or negative but given the incredibly positive experience we had I couldn't let it go unsaid. Thank you to everyone mentioned and we will certainly return for our future needs.

The trunk of my two-year old mesquite tree couldn't keep up with the speedy growth of the limbs. It was cracking in half. The Moon Valley guys quickly cut it down, removed the stump, blew off the yard and driveway, and left the front yard looking great!

Avoid this seller. Prices are very high and warranties arent solid. They had to replace last 2 trees and now running from doing it again. Moving on to other nurseries and options. Tired of the excuses and upgrade prices when you spend a lot and it dies every time.

Ok soooo I have a not so great update that is bringing the originally top service down in the dumps. We bought 2 chinese pistache trees, and were convinced to buy a 3rd Brazilian pepper tree. We were talked into the Brazilian pepper tree that was not native to AZ or ok with desert climate and well, it died. They replaced the tree as they had guaranteed... BUT I was told that they would wave the ($100) delivery cost if I paid for another ($100) warranty. I declined this and it was delivered at no cost. They did replace the dead pepper with one of the chinese pistache that we already purchased that does very well here yadayadayda. Well, they gave us the smallest tree that likely has a fungal disease from what I have researched so far . The leaves were shriveled up upon its arrival and they still are looking this way even with watering it (in addition to our irrigation).

Why give us the smallest and sickly looking tree?
We still have plans to landscape our entire front and back yard... so dumb.

This is an edited review. After having left a mediocre review, these guys went out of their way to fix my little complaints, which were mostly about what I thought was lack of support. It turns out it was about a change up in the positions of some staff and one employee leaving. I just had to ask the right questions. I just bought a house in Phoenix and, of course, I wanted trees for my new house. The yard was a complete blank slate and I needed instant trees. I initially got three huge size ( about 5 foot in ground) trees. Several months later two of my three trees are doing fantastic and even showing some new growth. My blood orange is still struggling a bit, but I got the extended warranty and I'm just watching it closely. Blood oranges are more finicky trees anyway. I am now so content I've got a peach, a pomogranate and some bouganvilla coming from Moon Valley.
My best advice is, yes, they are helpful, but sometimes you have to talk to the right person first.
Don't use the financing if you can't pay it off in a year because the interest will gouge you.
Getting big trees planted for you is expensive! Do this only if you need or want INSTANT trees and get the extended warranty. It's good for a year and covers pretty much anything short of intentionally killing the tree. In my opinion, if you are going to spring for instant trees you want to know they are going to live so a warranty is a no brainier.
My only regret now is the BILL and the fact that I've now created a monster, in terms of wanting to fill up my yard with other expensive green things!

I was helped today by Brian Hedges, an employee at Moon Valley Nursery. I told him I was looking for two trees, and some Brian is very knowledgeable as he used to be a landscapet and was able to educate us on how to take care of our trees. Moon Valley, due to the great customer service of Sheldon Muecke, knocked it out of the park.! I had an issue which required a watch and wait in order to see what the best solution may be. Sheldon followed up and made certain my situation was not only addressed, but continued to follow up well after resolving. Nice job Sheldon! So happy to see that some people and companies still have work ethics and believe in customer service! Will be back in the future with our landscaping needs.

We had a 30'+ dead pine tree, where we had built a stage and dressing room around it. The men removed the tree quickly, neatly and without damaging the structures below. Then cleaned up perfectly. I showed up at this location a little skeptical and wasn't sure exactly even what I was looking for all I knew is I was looking for some form of privacy block. Tom stopped me and asked if I needed help we explained what we were looking for and he pointed me in the right direction. Tom gave me a large option of different plants shrubs and trees that were low maintenance that would get the job done. I made an appointment with Tom who even came by my house to take a look at what I had going on. We locked down the best option for my application and got them installed. Start to finish it was a seamless operation, I would recommend Tom and this location hands down.

I purchased a large tree from Moon Valley by telephone and just had it delivered and installed today. I was impressed with the entire process. The tele-salesman took a photo of the tree he picked and emailed it to me before I bought, which was a real time saver. Then Nate and his crew called me this morning to say that they were on their way. They arrived right on time and were very fast and efficient in planting my new 24 inch box tree. The tree was in perfect condition and the installation crew was fast and efficient. I was very impressed with the entire process. I highly recommend Moon Valley Nursery. Jim

Moon Valley promises the world and then doesn't deliver. Their sales and customer service folks tell you wonderful things about their trees and their crews that do the planting. Their crew came out to plant 2 trees and the foreman did not listen to either me or the sales person that talked to him on the job. He borrowed equipment from me that he should have had on the truck (tarps), wanted to borrow a wheelbarrow and used a broom that I had leaning against the house without asking. There are many nurseries that are as high or higher rated than Moon Valley. I will use anybody other than Moon Valley from now on.

The Sun City Tree Removal team was just at my house and did a fabulous job! This team went above and beyond. They are the epitome of excellent customer service. They were polite and friendly, they were tolerant of neighbors and thoroughly cleaned up after the job was complete.

We had four old pines that had seen better days and some miscellaneous landscaping work that was way overdue and engaged Moon Valley Nurseries Tree Service to do the work. Not only were they among the most cost efficient of the several companies we contacted they were also prompt, professional and left our property in excellent shape. Several different groups of workers were employed for the various tasks and they all were polite and efficient. A couple of them went out of their way to make suggestions after they arrived on site and saw where we were going. They were very careful of our property and did not damage anything even though they had a very tricky job taking down the pines. Our property was cleaned up afterward and they even went so far as to ensure our underground irrigation lines were still intact and not damaged. We will not hesitate to use them again.

Gave Innovation Tree Care a call to cut down a tree that was hanging over our pool and garage, and dropping large amounts of debris 3-4x per year. They came a week later, cut it down and trimmed back a few others for a very reasonable price. The work was completed safely and efficiently, and they left our back yard better than they found it!

Azael was very professional. He provided accurate estimates for his services, he was punctual, and very efficient. As he removed the tree the other gentleman cleaned up. They were very fast too. They removed one tree, grinded the stump, trimmed another tree, cleaned up, and hauled away some brick I didn't need, all within 90 minutes! I will definitely work with Azael again!

Azeal and Innovation Tree Care were amazing. Called him at 4pm on a Saturday and he still came out same day to give me a quote. I wanted someone to prune our two very large Mesquite and Palo Verde trees the correct way so they would look good still, but take away a lot of the weight so they could withstand our frequent monsoon storms. Mission accomplished! Very fair price, on time, personable, and very knowledgeable in what he does. Highly recommended!

Azael and his team removed two trees from our backyard and did a great job. They were on time, professional and communicated well beforehand. When they finished Azael met with me to review their work to make sure we were happy before the left. They also replaced an irrigation pipe that was in the way of the trees and cleaned all of the debris off of our patio (including all of the leaves that were there prior to them coming). I would definitely recommend them for tree removal!

Communication was great. I reached out on the Sunday trying to get a jump on the week. I got a response and quote quickly. I requested a photo of the work they had completed on a similar tree. It was exactly what I was looking for so I scheduled. The work was completed today.

They were on time and very professional. The owner asked me to check to verify I was satisfied. When done they cleaned up.

Leaving behind a happy customer and two beautiful palms! I was so happy I going to have another tree removed because it is crooked and hanging into the street.

Azael was great and very quick to communicate clearly.

We had a large mesquite tree in our front yard that required so much maintenance and left so much mess in our yard that we decided to remove it.

They provided a prompt accurate estimate, detailing exactly what that price included. Their price was also very competitive compared to others we got quotes from.

Turned up on time, and had the tree removed within a matter of hours, including grinding the stump, cleaning and clearing the yard.

Extremely professional, great to communicate with, honest prices, and all round great work. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Thank you Innovation Tree Care for promptly taking care of my three palms that needed skinning. Azael was extremely responsive and on time. Reached out for a quote on Thursday and they were able to come out first thing Monday morning. My tree was very overgrown and Azael and his team did a great job. My tree looks great! Will hire them again.
