HISTORY

Established in 2005.
I have been in the heating and air conditioning business since 1995 and have come to believe that there is a lack of companies out there that emphasize character. Consequently, I have built AJ Mike's with the understanding that trustworthiness is imperative, and I decided to start my own business with that foundation. With AJ Mike's, it's more than just receiving money for a service performed...it's about serving my customers with integrity.

ABOUT BUSINESS OWNER

By nature, I am a service minded person. One of the things that I value most is integrity and being found to be trustworthy. I believe that in the air conditioning business, the relationship between the customer and the service company does not have to be a win/lose relationship, but a win/win relationship for both sides. This is how I have always done business since getting into the industry, and it's how I always will.

The heat went out on us overnight. I called and Mike came out later the same day. He was efficient and explained the issue and fixed it. I found him to be honest and personable. His fee was reasonable. I will definitely call him again if issues arise.

I know I am starting to sound like a broken record here about Mike but it is true- he is a great business man, very honest and very fair!!
Our unit finally died- and we needed a complete replacement and Mike worked with us to get the best unit and get it installed.
The job was very tough and they were here for over 13 hours and never complained once! He knew I had a wife that just had surgery and living in a house without air conditioning was not going to be easy so he stayed until the job was complete.
I cannot say enough about mike, other than if you go with someone else besides mike you are making a costly mistake.

Mike came out again this past Spring for preventive service, cleaned both the exterior coils for the compressor and the interior coils for the air handler. Thank you Mike for giving us peace of mind, and giving the system the best shot at making it through another grueling summer. AJ Mike is the best HVAC company I have come across in 28 years of living in the Valley. If you are having issues with your A/c call Mike!

We had a really good experience with Mike when our air conditioning stopped working on a very hot weekend. He came out on a Sunday, fixed it, and didn't upcharge us because it was a weekend.

Last night, 2300 hrs. Whew, it sure is hot in here. Doh. The A/C is out!
Mr. P found AJ Mike's on the web, and gave him a call. What service! Mike came out just a few hours after our call! Talk about prompt, Mike was ringing the bell at 1059 for our 1100 appointment. Professional, friendly and prepared, Mike was amazing. He fixed us up, and explained the problem to Mr. P, who often repairs our stuff on his own. He was very affordable and humble. We thought we probably also needed a freon top off for a slow leak, and he told us that, in fact, we were good. That's integrity that we have yet to see (if you read my other reviews of HVAC contractors), and we appreciated his knowledge.
We had an all-around great experience with Mike, and will be using him from here on out. We will be moving our units in the near future, and his quote for A/C relocation was more than fair...we will be seeing him soon!

Mike did a great job for me. My a/c wasn't cooling. I called at 4:30 pm, and he was at my house first thing next morning. Knew right away what was wrong (only small part, luckily), and was gone in a couple of hours. No up selling, and Price was fair, too! I highly recommend!

I called mike, and he responded to me in less than 15 minutes of me calling. Set up an appointment, and he showed up on time. He also called in advance that he was coming and approximately the time he would be there. I ask him if he was familiar with the Honeywell T6 Pro, and he said yes. I was skeptical at first, and when he arrived at the house, he did a thorough walkthrough of current equipment (Heat Pump) to ensure he would set it up correctly. As he went through the new unit's programming, you could tell he knew what he was doing, and all went well. The units are performing as they should. He seems to be an honest service technician that didn't over charge me. I highly recommended mike, and I definitely will use him again.

I had a very good experience with A.J. Mike's Air Conditioning. My air conditioner quit working and I called Mike. He told me he would be here in an hour. He was here in 45 minutes and worked on it, even in the dark, till he had fixed it. Explained to me first what was wrong and what he had to do to fix it and the price. I would call this business for any problems I have. Great service!

Mike was very professional. I closed on a home and found that the A/C and heating unit was not working. I was only in town for the day Mike made room in his schedule to accommodate my last minute request for service.
He gave me a time he thought he would be at my home. He let me know ahead of time that he was on his way and arrived just when he said he would.
He fixed my heater quickly and was very gratuitous answering all my silly questions.
He went above and beyond. Not only did Mike fix the initial problem, he made necessary adjustments to ensure that my unit was working in the most efficient manner.
Mike was friendly, polite, professional and most of all he was honest.
I would recommend him to anyone who needs A/C or hearer repair!

Not all heroes wear capes! We came home after a hot day outside at the comicon convention to an ever hotter house. The ac was blowing hot air. Not wanting to wait 3 days for a response from our home warranty, I turned to Yelp and called the first company that was open late on a Saturday. Mike was out in hour and within minutes knew what was wrong and even better, was able to fix it! He had parts handy on his truck which made it a quick fix. I damn near kissed the man as our house was cooler immediately. I don't handle heat well --Backstory, our compressor went out a few years back and the home warranty took 10 days to fix it in 120 degree weather. My husband and I damn near got divorced over that because again, I don't tolerate heat well--so thank you Mike for saving the day, and potentially our marriage. I will shout it from the roof-tops how great his service was! Bravo!!

We were very pleased with AJ Mike's Air Conditioning service. Setup our appointment for 2:00 that afternoon, he called at 1:50 and told us he would be at our place in 10 minutes. Found our problem within 5 minutes, had it fixed within 20 minutes. He was very professional, explained to us our problem and the best way to fix it. Also explained the costs for the repairs. I called 5 HVAC contractors on July 4. Three responded. Understandably, being a holiday, rates were elevated except for Mike. He responded in 1 1/2 hours and took care of our problem. I would highly recommend Mike to anyone wanting a professional and honest repairman. I wii call him again should the need arise.

I called one place left a message still haven't heard back. I called Mike at 7:00pm and he was over by 8:00pm and had my A/C back on by 8:30 sweet very reasonable

Our A/C quit on a Friday in June and it was quickly over 100 degrees in our home. I called the company my home warranty insurance directed me to, they never returned my call. I called Mike at 7:30 PM on Friday night, he was there within the hour, stayed till almost 11 and fixed the problem. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone, and plan to use him if I need repairs in the future.

I was an idiot trying to install a new thermostat in my home. Mike saved us from this AZ heat after I blew a fuse in my furnace. We called Mike very late in the evening in desperate need of his help. He was very willing to come out that same night. He arrived when he said he would and went above and beyond our expectations. Mike is very personable and knowledgable. We will definitely be using him again for our AC needs.

i called one company they said 3 to 6 p.m.i called mike he answered the phone and gave me approx time he would be out. the a/c was not working we were burning up. he did diagnosis and checked the points of unit just needed one lb of freon. all else is good shape. $100 freon and $60 service call thanks mike i will use you again. i like local help with 5 stars. and you deserve it.
