Our A/C went out unexpectedly, and we weren't sure where to turn. I went onto Yelp and read over Larson's excellent reviews. And I'm pleased to add my endorsement and recommendation.
I called last night after their business hours and was very pleased to receive a callback from Cheryl within the hour. She was very informative and helpful and set us up with an appointment for this afternoon. This morning I received a call that they could get someone here this morning. Perfect! Caleb showed up shortly, met with us to understand the problem, did a rooftop check of our HVAC, came back down with pictures and a diagnosis, and advised us about costs. He was committed to making sure we understood the problem and our options. He was thoroughly professional and friendly, and did an excellent job of repairing the unit. He also checked out the heating, and reported that everything was good; he also saved me the trouble of changing out the air filters. We signed up for their maintenance program, which will keep us ahead of the curve.

Tim came out really quickly and was able to diagnose our issue. He was actually the 4th company we had out for this issue and he was the only one that checked over everything thoroughly and went into our attic. He communicated everything clearly and let us know our options without trying to sell us anything extra. He didn't pressure us in the slightest, and he cleaned/touched up everything when he was done. Would recommend him to everyone and will continue to use him in the future.

No words or rating could express how pleased I am with Boldt HVAC. They were well way above and beyond! Long story short I was mired in a 2mo nightmare trying to get one of my AC units repaired. I went through 3 different companies contracted by my home warranty (which I will be canceling as soon as I am reimbursed). Finally I got approval to get my own contractor. I searched Yelp and saw the outstanding rating for Boldt. I called around 8:30am and by just after 5pm that SAME day, my AC was up and running like a dream come true. If you happen to have Juan as your technician you just struck gold. He couldn't have been more courteous and professional. If I could give this company and Juan more than 5 *'s I would!

Where to begin... If I could give 10 stars I would. Our outside condenser unit just stopped working yesterday afternoon when it was 116° and I called around to a bunch of other places and I either had to leave a message or couldn't get an appointment for a few days.

Then, I called Johnny. *The* Johnny answered the phone (what??) and was so nice. He said he was on another job and it was a big one but would call me back when he was done to see if we still needed him to come out.

Get this, he actually called back and asked if we still needed him. I said, yes! And he said he'd be to our house in about an hour...and he was...with an assistant. He was here for no more than 15 minutes in total and in those 15 minutes he figured out the problem, had the necessary parts on hand, and made the repair!  And the amount he charged us was beyond reasonable, especially considering it was an after hours emergency repair.

It does not get any better than Johnny's Air Conditioning and Heating.

I was dealing with a warranty company when my AC went out. The temperatures ranged from 100-106F. It is now a week and I haven't heard from that company since they sent the third tech out. A friend recommended Hays Cooling. Within two hours of my call they sent out Aaron. He discovered the problems and even warned me that what little work had been done created a fire hazard. My unit is 20 years old and parts are almost impossible to find. He's returning today to measure for a whole new unit. Aaron explained everything to me in detail; he is very professional and knowledgeable.  I am cancelling my membership with the warranty company.

This business does not want to communicate via Yelp. It wasn't a good fit I guess? Contacted this business for an HVAC service quote at my remodel. In the screenshot you can see I replied with the requested information and a wide open schedule.

My Evaporative cooler was not working and causing a breaker to trip. I reported the problem to Danette at Cool Zone and made an appointment for repairs to be made.  On 04/25/2019 a technician (unknown name) arrived, and I told him to proceed with the repairs (without asking for a cost estimate).  He completed the work and presented me with an invoice for $826.97 which included the cost of a 3/4, 115V blower motor @ $666. I thought  the cost was extremely high, but paid it, as I had no idea how much the motor should cost. However, I later checked with Lo
we's and Home Depot and found the motors retail for between $85 and $150. I discussed the above with my niece, Kathy, who called Danette and suggested there may have been an error in the billing.  Kathy was told there was no mistake and they would not make any adjustments to the billing. I would not recommend doing business with Cool Zone.  I would be glad to re-think this review if CoolZone would furnish me with a copy of the invoice showing exactly how much they paid for the blower motor.

Our HVAC had issues and Steve was quick to find the issue. I highly recommend this company for AC issues.

Dave was very quick to respond and displayed utmost professionalism without any upselling tactics. I will definitely use Gladiate Air in the near future again.

My family and I are new to Arizona, and the sweltering heat :). Two days into buying our home, one of the AC units needed service (on a Saturday night). I called Dukes of Air based on the Yelp reviews, and our service could not have been better. Not only did we not get charged for nights/weekend service, the AC technician was at our home within 2 hours, got us up and running quickly and gave us some great pointers on AC maintenance. Seriously, highly recommend these folks, they are as good as it gets

I would have loved to provide a good rating, however, after waiting at home for 5 hours-they were a no show. Apparently they do not need the business.

When in need of air fast, call Bumble Bee! I contacted through Yelp after hearing rave reviews on Next Door. It was a Sunday evening and I had a response before 7 am on Monday. They were at my house and the air was fixed before noon.

They didn't try to upsell a new unit! Bonus!!

Over the 4th of July we decided to change our thermostat and we attempted to replace it ourselves. It didn't go well and we lost our air conditioning.   Finding someone to come out on the 4th of July was difficult and the company we hired charged us $1100 to get it running but didn't have time to  install the new thermostat.  Not wanting to attempt installing the new thermostat again by ourselves, and not being impressed with the company who charged us $1100, we called Cave Creek Cooling Company to install the new thermostat and they were awesome!! He was professional, efficient and honest. He changed the thermostat quickly and inspected the work that was previously done to give us peace of mind. His inspection revealed that the previous company had simply changed a 3 amp fuse for $1100. From now on for us it's CAVE CREEK COOLING COMPANY!!

I called customer service to set an appointment for an estimate because i needed a new hvac system to replace the old worn out one. Bill arrived and was the one who installed the new system. He was very professional and he knew his stuff he was not a pressure sales person and i felt comfortable with his knowledge. The next day i got a reasonable estimate i was happy with. The installation went smooth and the system is blowing ice cold air.

We chose to have Ideal Energy bid on a project that included having an SRP approved Energy Audit completed, adding insulation and the possibility of installing a new HVAC system for our home based on the stellar reviews of previous customers here on Yelp. All I can say is WOW!!! First of all, this company knows how to communicate with it's customers and every single person I encountered via phone or person was always professional, courteous and attentive with any questions/concerns.

Alex (Co-Owner) was always on time for appointments, very thorough when completing the energy audit and NEVER made myself or my wife feel pressured to buy ANYTHING. He explained how and what could be done but more importantly, what needed to be done to make our home more energy efficient. Elena (Co-Owner) was extremely helpful with setting up the SRP Rebate process which was streamlined and extremely easy, helping set up the funding PROMO for the project w/ local bank (0% APR 60mo - No early payoff penalty), and was able to get us scheduled 22 days ahead of our initial scheduled construction date. Chris (Construction Manager) and his crew ALWAYS showed up on time, displayed professionalism at all times and did a thorough clean up at the end of each construction day that went above and beyond what I've come to expect from most companies. Attitudes were great, they take pride in there work with keen attention to detail and NO CUTTING CORNERS ensuring a job done right. Construction was completed a day ahead of schedule because every single employee on the construction site busted his/her tail to get the job done right the first time.

After construction was completed, Chris gave a relaxed (not rushed) tutorial of how to use the new thermostat (which is the brains of the system). Chris also advised my wife and I that it isn't uncommon to have small adjustments made to a new system install as each customer or project has different demands that aren't realized until after the new system is up and running. After a few days of testing out our new HVAC system it was determined that a few minor tweeks needed to be made to the on board computer system which controls air flow, fan speed, how much etc. It's a smart system that has set parameters that only technicians can access. Chris and another technician came back the next day, on time and quickly was able to change certain parameters and verify. PERFECT!

We used to have a few hot rooms and a cold master bedroom upstairs with no control as our old thermostat was located in the hall. Our master bedroom would be consistently 2º cooler than the temp at the thermostat and our hot rooms easily 8º warmer than the temp at the thermostat. What a waste of energy...  NOT ANY MORE! Now we can control the temperature in individual rooms so nobody is too hot or too cold. It truly has been a wonderful experience having Ideal Energy as our contractor.

Wow, what a great company.  Let me save anyone looking for a new HVAC system the trouble of shopping around.  I recently purchased a new split Gas and AC system (5 Ton) 14 Seer from Desert Comfort Mechanical (DCM) and my experiences with Fadel and his entire team have been nothing short of exceptional.  Many HVAC providers promise you great customer support and service but DCM and the entire team don't just talk the talk but they walk the walk in every interaction providing exception value and service.  Even during the due diligence inspection they worked around my schedule to arrive at 6:00am so I could leave for work on time, It's refreshing to know that there are companies like DCM here in the PHX metro area that still know how to deliver exceptional service along with extraordinary value.  Well Done Fadel, please pass on my many thanks to your team and you for delivering a pain free experience.  You can be certain that you and your company (DCM) are the one and only I'll have on speed dial.

I was looking into purchasing a small investment property and needed an estimate on the remodeling that was necessary.  The estimator, Mike, was prompt, efficient, extremely courteous, professional, and quite personable as well.  He took lots of pictures and provided a great work-up for my review.  Thank you, Silver City, for helping me find the best property for my business!

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

This has been smoldering with me for a number of months. This was a disaster. Craig came out and talked big on how they were called out to fix Coit failures on travertine floors and told me how he would be able to fill cracks and pop outs as if they were not there. He would use top of the line products and our floors would look very nice. He quoted me a price that was what seemed a little high however ensured excellent quality work. Included in the price was furniture moving. When he came out he showed up alone (said his crews were on other jobs) and I had to leave work to help him move furniture. He then cleaned and stripped the floors. When I went back to work he was short with my wife when she asked about filling the cracks and pop outs. He stated he had not planned having to take care of all of the pop outs. He then proceeded to use sanded caulk grout for filling the imperfections instead of travertine filler. He made a mess on the floors with the caulk and did not clean the excess up. Needless to say the filling was horrible. Then he applied a sealer which he apparently was not familiar with and made a tacky mess of my floors. It took 8 days for my floors to dry and by that time they were a dirty mess from dust blowing in.  I contacted him to come back out and clean the floors and he was very short and upset. He did come back out and did a light strip on the floors (again I had to help move furniture), which helped some but far from the result he promised. When he left after the re-clean he never even asked if we were satisfied and just disappeared. What even makes it worse is he stated We should have ground the floors and redid them which would have only been about $1000 more than the $1900 for the clean and seal however he initially told me it would be several thousand more to grind the floors. Also he apparently forgot what he charged me for the original job, $2250. This guy was a joke. I did call another company and they stated the could come out and fix his work for about $750. I guess I have learned an expensive lesson and everyone needs to watch out for this guy....
