I suspected we needed new AC but hoped we could survive another Arizona summer without one.  Nothing like a failure on a 105+ degree weekend to prove me wrong.  I asked three service providers to bid the job and what a difference Larson makes!  Bart in sales was thorough and patient, answering my questions and explaining everything clearly.  Tony in service was great, coming out right away to confirm the site conditions and ensuring our new unit will go in without a problem.  The installation happened today, within a week of the estimate and I couldn't be happier with the result.  Everything happened EXACTLY on time and EXACTLY on the price we were quoted.  The job was done quickly, cleanly and the crew were friendly and respectful.  In terms of price they were in the middle but the level of service and communication you can expect from Larson was far above the middle.  New AC isn't cheap but I think you get what you pay for.  In the case of Larson, I got more than I paid for - no question.  Highly recommend!

I just used American home water and air to come out to fix my air conditioning. It was making a loud noise which was what my service call was for. Mack arrived and was very professional and friendly. After inspecting the unit he reported back that the capacitor was not working properly and needed to be replaced at a cost of $305. I asked what about the noise it was making and he said it was probably the duct work making the noise so I said I will climb up in the attic and check it out. I told him to go ahead and replace the capacitor as I considered that maintenance even though it seemed extremely expensive. I work from home so I don't want to take a chance and have my air conditioning go out. He completed the work and left. About three hours later the air conditioner starts to make an even louder noise and keep in mind the noise was never repaired he told me it was the duct work. I climbed up into the attic to check for the noise. I get up in the attic and there's no noise coming from the duck work. So I called Mack back tell him that it's even louder than before and he says he will come back out. Upon Macks arrival he goes up on the roof and reinspects the AC unit and tells me it is the squirrel cage and that it needs to be replaced of course I ask how much will that cost? He replies that is going to be another $500 which I thought wow that is really expensive! I then asked Mack can you do any better than that on the price? And he immediately says no.But again I work from home so I need my air conditioning here in Phoenix when it is 110° so I tell him to order the part. I then start to call other companies to find out what it will cost to have the same repair done. I find out I can get it done for considerably less than what I was quoted. Now let me just say I don't mind paying for quality work at a reasonable price but when I get the perception that I am being taken advantage of that does not sit well with me. I do some research and find out that the capacitor that was changed and cost me $305 cost less than $20 so I have now paid $285 for a technician to climb on the roof remove a panel spent 20 minutes reviewing my AC unit and another 20 minutes replacing the capacitor in total he has been here for just about an hour at a rate of $285 an hour and hasn't repaired the noise which is what my original service call was for. I did some additional research on the squirrel cage aka blower wheel that needs to be replaced and found that even at retail this costs between $100 and $215 which would not be their cost. So once again in my opinion they are trying to overcharge. I don't know of any AC techs in the valley that make even $100 an hour. Don't get me wrong I know they have overhead but let's just say it takes him two hours to remove and install the new blower wheel and the cost of the part that's still only $400 even with overhead. I personally will never use this company again and as a person who works in the Multifamily industry I will also let all of my industry partners know not to use this company. I strongly suggest you do your research before reaching out to them.

Update: Well here it is 8 days later still no response from this company. Stay away from them they will rip you off!

I can't say that I've ever worked with a more kind, honest and hardworking company. We filed a claim through Fidelity for our AC when it stopped working. Unfortunately, this happened during COVID, and everything is in shortage status or delayed. Tim worked with Fidelity to get us expedited on the process. Tori did an amazing job at keeping us updated throughout the waiting period. Mike (owner) called us to check in on things as well.  I truly believe that we would still be forced out of living in our home if this company wasn't involved in the process.  They originally replaced a compressor for us, and then we found out that the coil and condenser needed replaced as well (1997 unit). They got the order into Fidelity, and then came back and replaced the entire unit. The amount of hours and attention they put into this project were amazing. Every person we dealt with was top notch, and we would absolutely recommend using them in the future. Thank you for saving our sanity and getting us back to comfort!

I feel like I met a legend! I didn't know that was his last name when he came and fixed up our system. I'm a couple weeks behind writing this, but naturally my AC had gone out in the hottest part of Summer. I had trouble with other HVAC companies, and I finally got in touch with Boldt, told them my troubles and said they'd send their best tech. I thought, hell yeah, I'm getting star treatment. Phillip came in and within 30 mins he had the issue figured out. Always check the easy stuff first. Phillip is great because he teaches you about your system (if you want to learn). Phillip is professional and personable and reasonably priced. There's some places that are cheaper and some more expensive but you don't want to cheap out and you don't want to overpay. A+

AC stopped working on what was going to be a 117 degree day. House was heating up fast! Started calling down the list of AC repair companies on Yelp leaving messages or given appointment times days later.
Fate brought me to Johnny's AC listing - Called, phone answered immediately, took our address and was here within an hour.
Straight forward diagnosis, price given, work done, no up-selling,
no non-sense. Great guys! The kind of people you know instantly you can trust. They keep a good inventory on their truck so no running out to get your parts. Clean, professional work.

My experience with Hays was almost Outstanding....the office staff keep me informed and Mark was personable, flexible and just a nice guy who knew what he was doing.  Even added some work from my original issue.  No,problem, gave me a price...and was done with both jobs in under two hours.   He also tolerated my annoying dog...sorry.
I will give the  the rating they deserve, not their problem that plumbing is SO FRIGGIN expensive.  They were competitive, but the people made the difference...THANKS

If there were more stars to give this company would have each one! From the star of contacting them till the end of the service, Arizona Air Experts were excellent! The lady who helped me get an appointment the same day was sweet and has great customer service and great communication, she called every step of the way. Darrin was our technician and he was AWESOME. Very honest, friendly and helpful. He showed us every step of the way of what he was doing and how to help the performance of our AC unit. He was also very patient with us as we had to go through our home warranty for authorization for our reimbursement process. Great company and I will most definitely be using them for our maintenance on our AC and any plumbing service! Thank you so much, your company made our day!

My wife and I finally decided to kick on the heater and when we did it just kicked out cold air. I requested a few appointments first thing the following morning and cool zone responded first, the next call from another company was hours later. They had a tech here in my home within hours to see what the issue was. After the inspection was complete we were given the unfortunate news that the compressor had given out on us. Our tech verified the unit was under warranty still, gave us a quote on what we would have to pay and got us setup for the next day. To have a job be complete from diagnosis to complete in less than a day made us very happy. From quick response and job well done to having a warm house our experience couldn't have been better. In the 5 years that I have used this company for my house remodeling they have earned this five Star rating - If you need ac or heating or evap cooler work or ductwork or plumbing from repairs to new install this company will not waste your time or money ,I shopped around a lot before my new install ac /gas  heat  combo  ,others wanted more for less work and or tried to lie to me about what all was needed to install unit I have built homes I know what's needed ,In my thirty years of owning homes for my self and several others I rented out to people ,This company is the best I have ever hired .Not a  greedy large company working on commission .

They came out first thing in the morning after I left a message. Told me what was wrong and promptly fixed it. The technician explained everything to me what was wrong and why extremely helpful in just knowing what and why.

My wife and I are here visiting my daughter and son in law and grandson here in Mesa. They had to have a new AC unit put in so we stayed around to help out while the went to work. That crew was top notch. So professional with everything they did. They started on time and finished quickly. There cleaned up their mess and left it better than when they found it. If you're looking for a company to install your next AC, you need to choose Arizona's Dukes  of Air!!!  Great Job Guys!!!

I cannot say enough good things about David.  He has taken care of my AC unit at my rental property at a moment's notice.  Once, when there was a leak and then again when the unit wasn't cooling properly.  He's responsive, thorough, and really excels at customer service.  He even went so far as to send me pictures of the issue.  I would trust him with any AC need.  It's nice to have someone you can trust AND depend on!

Really impressed with the customer service we received from start to finish. We had them replace an ac unit last year and they were kind enough to hold the price for us to replace our second unit this year. Really quick response time and got the unit installed in a timely manner. My 5 year old was home so they built him a fort box in the backyard and when he asked if he could have some copper they went and cut some off the old unit for him to sell. They went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend them.

Just had a spring AC maintenance and a part replaced.  These guys were extremely efficient, got back to me almost immediately, arrived on time, knew what they were talking about, were very nice and the pricing was in line if not better than the large companies working in the valley.  I don't recommend often, but you can't go wrong with CCCC.

The experience working with Ideal Energy to correct our dated builder grade duct system was amazing. Almost immediate call back.  Doug was very helpful, went out the very next morning and had a repair plan and estimate the same day. I would highly recommend them and will use them in the future for all my swamp cooler needs.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.

We paid a great deal of money to have our pavers sealed by this company 1 1/2 years ago. Six months later they looked terrible, We have called for 1 1/2 years and they have never returned the call. Stay away from this business. It is a scam. They have now changed their name to CMS Stone Restoration..
