I scheduled Larson Air Conditioning to perform a service check and maintenance on both of our air conditioning units. Ryan showed up on time, and performed the most thorough inspection I have ever experienced. Ryan checked both units, performed some minor repairs, thoroughly tested both units, cleaned both units, and took the time to explain what's working well, what needed to be repaired, and what to watch out for, but didn't need repair right away. Everything was clearly explained with pictures of each item that was inspected/checked/repaired.

Also appreciated was the phone calls and text messages, keeping me looped in on exactly when Ryan would arrive. Our units are over 20 years old, and will need to be replaced at some point. Based on this experience with Larson Air, they have earned an opportunity to bid when we're ready to replace!

I called and spoke to Tom who came out the following day to provide a quote for a water softener and RO. He arrived on time, looked at our space and went through our options. No pressure at all. We got onto their schedule almost immediately to have the water softener installed. Gerardo came out to do the job. He was so quick with the install, mindful of our space, dogs and left the area super tidy. I would totally recommend these guys! You can shop around and save a little money, but in the end you're getting a better product & service with these guys!

I found 1st Choice Mechanical on Yelp due to their great reviews. I was completely down and out after previously being scammed by a horrible company and happened upon 1st Choice. I spoke with Tori and she was so kind and caring and let me blab and cry about the horrible situation I was in. She said she would try and call her father Michael and asked if he would come on Saturday, a day they are normally closed. Immediately she called back and said he would be there. Michael showed up promptly and was so friendly and knowledgeable. I felt at ease and confident in his skill set. He was done within an hour. Having just moved here and being a first time home owner, I knew nothing. Now I know a great family owned company who I will go back with time and time again.

Very professional and quick. I called first thing in the morning and was able to get an appointment that day. Also they were an hour earlier then originally planned but called to make sure it was okay first. Which was awesome when your ac unit is not working in the summer in Phoenix the earlier the better. And our technician was great! Frank was polite and got the job done fast. He was excellent at explaining to me what the problem was and gave me a few options for repairs. He went above and beyond getting our two units working perfectly and the expensive was less then expected. I also found it very useful that he gave me some tips on monthly maintenance I can be doing to keep my units running more efficiently. Being a first time home owner I really appreciated this. I will be using Hays for any of my future ac/heater needs.

The lady who helped me get an appointment the same day was sweet and has great customer service and great communication, she called every step of the way. Darrin was our technician and he was AWESOME. Very honest, friendly and helpful. He showed us every step of the way of what he was doing and how to help the performance of our AC unit. He was also very patient with us as we had to go through our home warranty for authorization for our reimbursement process. I contacted Arctic Fox per a recommendation from someone who had excellent feedback about the experience with the company, so naturally - I already felt a little bit more comfortable reaching out. I called about midday and nobody answered the call but we left a message for a call back, and we received a call back within 10 minutes. It was a Saturday and we scheduled for a Monday service call on the two units we have for the house. The upstairs unit was sporadically working and wasn't providing cold air so we wanted them to also take a look at that.

The person that came out at 9am was cordial, clear, and expansive in the sharing he provided about what he was doing, what he was looking for, and what we were hoping for. It was a bunch of gibberish to me because hvac isn't my jam but it was helpful information to have later so I could explain to my cousin who does know HVAC. By around noon he was able to determine what the issue was, tell us what part/s were needed and given us a quote for the service. He was going to be able to fix it before the end of the day and something excellent to note is that our old unit (original from '98) still had parts! (Something 2 other companies that had come out wanting us to purchase brand new units had boasted and made us fear!) That in itself made us trust that he was actually trying to help us and not just sell us a new AC unit in the middle of an AZ summer!

He left and came back with parts, a partner to help, and was finished right about 4pm or so. The price seemed fair for the service, parts, labor and overall the experience we had was positive so I was thrilled that by the end of the day, our old original unit (both of them for that matter) felt like they'd gotten a refresh and were back up and running again! Also, the warranty for service covered a year for the parts and 2 years for the service.

Overall a super positive experience and thrilled we didn't have to buy a new unit, that we fixed the issue, and that we feel covered for the next year! Thank you to Arctic Fox for the excellent service.

About a month ago I had Bumblebee come out to my house, it is a rental and my daughter lives and manages the house, we rent by room. My daughter texted me that the air went out around 8am in the morning. So I wen to Yelp and started reading reviews, I was leaning to go with one of the big air conditioner companies in Phoenix which constantly advertise on TV. However when I checked their Yelp reviews the big AC companies had mediocre reviews even though their TV ads were pretty good. I checked out the top Yelp AC companies in Tempe Az and their was several with really good star ratings. Bumblebee reviews, not just the ratings, were fascinating to read, it really sounded like the owner's of this company knew, understood and practiced customer service, it wasn't just words. Anyways I emailed my daughter the several AC companies I was looking at on Yelp, she read the reviews and also decided on Bumblebee. Bumblebee came out to the house around 1pm and stated they needed to go into the house cause the AC problem wasn't on the unit on the roof. My daughter had left instructions to Bumblebee dispatcher to call me 30minutes before they reached my rental home and I would meet them but the dispatcher didn't relay that information, luckily the Bumblebee service technician (I believe it was Steve, but I am not sure of his name) had my phone # and texted me that he needed to get into the house. I thought it was awesome that the AC technician would text me instead of leaving, I texted the Bumblebee technician it would take 30 minutes for me to get their and he said he would wait. After arriving at my rental I opened the door and the Bumblebee technician found out it was a faulty thermostat, I payed something around $180 dollars for the new thermostat and to have it installed, which was what I was OK with.

However this is where the problems began, I asked Steve for a receipt (btw I was really impressed with Steve or what ever his name was, he gave me a biography of his work experience and what I was impressed with was that Bumblebee wanted and recruited the best technicians, which I consider awesome). I asked for a receipt, the problem was Steve couldn't give me a receipt then cause the billing company for some technical reason wouldn't allow Steve to email me a receipt, because of this I gave Steve my personal email address and he stated he would email the receipt later. After a couple of days waiting for the receipt and not getting any I called Bumblebee and the dispatcher told me they would relay the message to the owners, which I believe is Lisa, I said OK. However about 2 weeks went by and I had no receipt, so I called the dispatcher and told them I wanted a receipt that day or I was going to write up a bad Yelp review. I got a response very quickly from Lisa saying a receipt would be emailed to me, however I got no receipt, it turned out Bumblebee had been emailing my receipt to my daughter and not me, after this got cleared up Bumblebee emailed me an invoice which I finally got; again there was a problem because on the invoice there wasn't anything which could be plainly seen by the IRS or my accountant that the invoice had been payed. By this time Bumblebee was texting me and I was texting them and I was actually receiving several invoices in my email so several people at Bumblebee must of been trying to get me a receipt. I texted Bumblebee that the receipt was totally inadequate, that what I wanted is an invoice emailed to me with Payed in Full clearly stamped on it, some thing that the IRS would understand as a receipt. This was during lunch hour and I guess Bumblebee staff/owners were out to lunch but they said they would do this as soon as they got back. Within about 30minutes of Bumblebees text about being at lunch, I got several receipts with Payed in full stamped on it in my email. Lisa then texted me that the billing software and company, they had just recently gotten, fulfills all of Bumblebees internal accounting requirements, however she said my case clearly showed that they need a new billing software/company and she assured me they would fix this problem for future customers.

I tell this story not to discourage people to call Bumblebee, but quite the contrary, please call them they are a excellent company. It is very very very rare that you have a company that is truly concerned about their reputation and the service they provide each customer. Even though I had technical billing problems with Bumblebee, once they realized the problem they bent over backwards to fix it, it truly was a breath of fresh air to me. I wish this company ALL the SUCCESS in the world it was truly amazing to work with them.

Horrible customer service.  They did come out the next morning when I called them on Wednesday evening, so their one star was earned for that.  Alan came out with another technician (who left a cigarette butt in my yard right next to my a/c).  He said we needed a new circuit board as ours was fried and he'd call me within a couple days when he receives the board.  He did not give me an estimate at this point, my mistake for not asking for one.  He was at my house for about an hour.  He rigged my air conditioner to run constantly and my husband or me had to go out to the unit and pull the breaker in order to shut it off, making us human thermostats.  Thinking this was only for a day or 2, I was thankful to have a/c at all.  I did not hear from him Fri, Sat or Sun.  I called on Monday to ask about it and did not receive a call back from anyone.  I called again a few hours later on Monday and did not get a call back again, Marcel informed me that they were busy with it being super hot and all and please be patient.  I wait Tuesday, no call.  I call them again on Wednesday and tell Marcel that nobody has still called me back.  Alan finally calls me back saying he just got the board in and wasn't going to pay the $65 to overnight it so he had them regular mail it.  He never communicated this to me until almost a week later, once the board had already come in.  He apologized for not calling me and said someone in the office should have called me, then he assured (he used the word assure) me that they'd be out the following the day to come replace the board.  I arranged to be home on Thursday.  Thursday around noon I still had not heard from them so I called the office and spoke with Marcel, he was very nice, called Alan for me and said that someone could be out there on Friday.  I was livid, I had already arranged to be home on Thursday and could not arrange to be so again on Friday as I had a meeting.  After trying to demand that someone come out Thursday like I was assured they would, I agreed to let them come out on Saturday morning (9 days after they originally came out).  Bill texts me on Saturday morning and tells me it would be $532, and had I gotten an estimate.  I told him no, I was livid once again.  I'm not sure why Alan would not have mentioned the price if it was going to be so outrageous.  Alan called me because I was so upset and said that the best he could do would be to take $50 off of the labor of the bill, but since he had no control over the price of the board, that is all he could do.  Again though, I did not ask for an estimate, so I agreed to this.  Bill shows up to look at the unit and replace the board and tells us that it doesn't even need a new board.  He saw that only one connection was fried and it had other connections that he could use.  He hooked it up, it worked.  Finally.  The board was no longer needed, so they took the price of the board off of the bill and charged me $340.  I texted Alan myself after this to make sure he let Bill know to take the $50 off of the bill, like we had discussed.  He told me that since we were paying so much less than the $532, that was no longer an option.  I texted him back that I was under the impression the $50 would come off of the labor as he had no control over the part price, and he just flat out never responded to me.  Bill spent maybe 30 minutes at my house.  That is 1.5 total they spent at my house, my bill was charged for more than that.  I will never use Alan's air again, and frankly, I am relieved to be done with them.  I then get a bill from them in my email today, 18 days later for $480.  I call the office, livid once again, and Marcel figured out for me that it was an error that Alan made and that I can disregard the bill.  Horrible communication from this company, mainly from Alan himself.  Marcel and Bill were excellent at communicating and very helpful.  I did not find Alan helpful in the slightest and he even told us a new board was needed when one wasn't.  I think Alan needs to retire.

I moved into a new home that had a single unit on the roof with two stories, and my main concern was air flow. I had 6 different companies give me a diagnostic and quotes (the high end being 12K to fix duct work and add insulation) and nobody had one singular way to fix the problem I had. I reached out to Desert Comfort and they sent Sean, their air-flow guru to take a look at the system. He explained the poor design, the lack of access and the air flow issues. He also was realistic about what results I could expect, and how my system was choking with only a single return. He obviously had been doing this for decades and can work by feel. He said he would write up the scope of work.

I worked with Joseph Albertson who is the Customer Relationship Manager. He was nothing short of fantastic. We traded multiple emails back and forth,t he quote was upfront and reasonable, and I ended up adding on a few services and he guided me away from options that would only cost me money.

The crew arrived at 6AM, Sean and a partner. They go in my attic, added a new return, did an air balance, added a remote thermostat. While on top of the roof checking the system they spotted an issue with a line backup and a pound of refrigerant being low. Everything was informative and no salesmanship, I opted to have them take care of the issues on the spot. Joseph's first concern was our experience with the onsite. It was fantastic. E-invoice was easy to pay, clear to read, and this company was a pleasure to deal with. They don't advertise and they work via word of mouth and by their yelp reviews. Compared to the dozens of shady outfits in PHX that crowd out the good providers, these guys are a great provider.

Silver City was here quickly and did everything they said they would do.  I felt very comfortable having them inside the house.  Their painters were neat and masked everything.  They helped us pick roof tiles and compare the durability and cost.  We did some upgrades and they even helped with that.  They are great people.

Called the company to get a quote/estimated for the recent storm damage in our property. Ramon and Jeremy are two very nice and knowledgeable gentlemen who seem very committed. They even came back days after to pour water over the roof of the house to pin point where the leak was coming from in which they absolutely did. Now came estimate proposal to my insurance, they did not follow through. Ramon said that it will be there but it's three weeks later, no proposal. They don't even answer my calls and texts. I am now dealing with another company.
