Our water heater decided to quit, and it never happens at a convenient time. After finding a hybrid water heater at Lowes, you'd think the install would be a breeze. Not so. The subcontractor they use (BSJ Plumbing - see separate review) is unreliable when it comes to communication and quick scheduling. Even the employees at Lowes say they have problems sometimes.
When I finally got ahold of the owner, he said he'd check on an install time and call me back. Well guess what? I'm still waiting for the callback.
I drove to Lowes, loaded the water heater in my vehicle, got the extra parts and came home - now on day 5 with no hot water. I did a Yelp search for a plumber in my area, and Proskill was the first that came up with amazing reviews. It was a Saturday AM, so I wasn't confident it was going to be easy. I left a message and unfortunately, had to move on to the next call. That person said they could install.
No sooner did I hang up, than Garrett from ProSkill called. I told him he was my first choice, but because it had been days with no hot water, I needed to find someone ASAP. He totally understood. Asked me some questions to make sure I had the right material and told me that if something should happen with the other company, to call him (even Saturday evening) and he'd see what he could do?
So here's a guy who's not even going to be getting paid, making sure I have what I need with the right info, etc., and offering to come help anyway, if I need it.
Subsequently, I've stored Proskill's number in my phone and it will be the first one I call when I need something in the future. TREMENDOUS customer service.

I'm debating whether it is 4 or 5 star, but leaning towards 5. The most important things are the workmanship, availability, accuracy and professionalism. These were all aced with flying colors. You get what you pay for. It wasn't a cheap AC replacement. They were ready within an hour of my call to add additional refrigerant. They were available to reschedule as needed. They turned on a dime for me. They got me the energy rebate I requested, without me having to lift a finger. They worked directly with my insurance to make sure I was taken care of. They make detailed reports and can explain the more decisions. Even though I didn't need the extra thermostat at this time, it was included in the package. I had to ask for it when it came time to pay the bill. I think it was complimentary along with the install but they still itemize free things on the receipt. The complimentary refrigerant was left off the receipt, the only exception.

Amazing, reliable, honest and went above and beyond. I highly recommend their services.

AC went out yesterday.  Called Sure Temp this morning at 8:30 am and Kevin was out at the house by 1pm.  Diagnosed and fixed in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and extremely reasonable.  Would highly recommend them to anyone and plan to use in the future for any maintenance needs.

Have used them two times now and they are great. Competitive pricing and don't try and up sell. Very honest on what they can fix and what you will need in the future.  Would highly recommend.

Great company and Great Service. I called at 4:15 on Friday because my air was blowing hot air. Grant was the gentleman that arrived within 30 minutes. In less than an hour Grant had fixed a capacitor and added Freon. He explained in great deal everything he was doing. I know the system is old and I will need a new one soon. I will definitely call Air Time when that day comes. Thanks Grant! You are a great guy and I enjoyed the high level of service you provided!

I'll call Mathew at M&R for all residence and investment properties. I have called upon Matthew to fix my HVAC before he started M&R working as a technician for a different company. I recently called Matthew because my tenants complained about poor cooling. My tenant informed me Mathew was communicative, courteous, and quickly fixed the problem all while working around her babies sleep schedule. I'll only call M&R for my HVAC needs.

I unfortunately came to realize after a weak or so of lukewarm showers that maybe something had happened to my water heater. Sure enough I go check on it and it was leaking. Checked out Yelp for some plumbers to get a few quotes and liked several things about here. I was impressed that after calling several other plumbers for quotes and having to leave some voicemails, Eric answered his call in person and it was almost 9pm. I actually thought it was a voicemail first but he politely went over my options, gave me a quote and he was the most competitive too. Not always a guarantee of good work but all you have to do is read the reviews to know you're in good hands. Set up an appointment and they were there the next day.

I did not have Eric work on my installation however his coworker Lenny did and he did a great job of cleaning up and completing the work in a timely manner.

I recently had 2 new variable-speed heat pumps installed at my home.  This was after having a very disappointing experience with another HVAC company and getting estimates from many others.  I was very pleased with the service provided by Desert Diamond.  Jeff and Frank performed a thorough evaluation of my home.  David, Riley, Kelly, and Gerry performed the installation.  I chose Desert Diamond because I felt that they would provide the highest quality installation, and they made it an easier decision by price-matching a lower estimate.  My systems have been performing even better than I imagined, and I am very thankful for their ethics, knowledge, skills, and professionalism!

A big thanks goes to Frank and the team of 3 techs from North Valley Mechanical that just installed a new air condition unit on the roof replacing an older inside unit.  These men were very efficient, knowledgable, and prompt.  Frank played a big part in the pre-planning and executing of this project from measuring, setting up delivery of unit, booking the crane for removal and installation of unit.  Everything went as planned.  The best part is that we now have an updated cool working air conditioner.

Excellent service, extremely competent & honest.  Very rare to find all three in one company. We've been using them for years, highly recommended.

Charged way to much for parts that were a fraction of what I could get them elsewhere. When I called to ask what the deal was I was told the manager or owner would call me within a day. No one ever called. The parts were only 125 and they charged $390 for a half hour repair. Total ripoff.

Moved into a new home and needed some electrical work done. They finished in a reasonable time and the price was very fair. I'd definitely recommend them for my future projects!

Do not recommend. At the time we thought it was great but now we're having the same issues with my ac again, come to the roof to check things out and this is how he left my ac unit. He left all the wires exposed and didn't tuck anything back away and now my ac has shorted again because he never tucked everything away from the weather. Now I'm out an ac unit again because he didn't know how to finish his job correctly.
$600 later and I still have a broken unit.

I am so very glad that I called Mike at True North Air Conditioning when we need to replace our 26-year old AC.  Out of all the companies that came out to quote, Mike stood out for his knowledge and patience as I plied him with many questions. He offered solutions without pressure or bias, simply as information.

I've waited 5 months to write this review. In that time the AC has been running perfectly and Mike's solution to our hot room problem is working better than expected! The one time we had a small hiccup with the AC somebody was here the same day to fix it.

Quality work, competitive price, decent bloke. Cannot ask for more, like I said, so happy I chose True North. Customer for life.

We've been working with The great people at Howard Air for about 2 years now.  The office staff as well as the technicians could not be more professional and helpful.  We recently had an emergency and they were awesome in responding and resolving our problem as soon as possible.  Highly recommend them.  There service is the best and prices are very reasonable!!!

My AC went out, called Goettl. The little punk came out, said I need a new system for 5k or repair my old one for 3k. Compressor went out, Freon will cost 1000 dollars!
Gave him his service fee of 79.00 dollars and sent him packing.
Don't call these salesmen. They are not techs!!!
