I know this company has great reviews, in fact, I specifically asked my home warranty to assign them because of that,  but I had a really bad experience with them and I felt like they totally wasted my time and were dishonest. This review is based solely on my phone calls and service call to my house.   They did not actually fix my plumbing problem.  

I have Old Republic Home Warranty and this is the company that was assigned from my home owners insurance.   I made arrangements to work from home and set up an appointment for Monday, to which they cancelled, last minute, saying that the home warranty company cancelled the work order.  When I called the home warranty  company they told me King's Plumbing canceled the call because they were to busy to take it. I called the company back and reported this to which they denied it being true and rescheduled.  I then planned a second day to work from home to have them come out again. We were set for an afternoon appointment block to which they showed up in the morning unscheduled.  The plumber looked at my issue and told me they can fix it the following week.  Never, mentioning they were not willing to fix my issue bc they were to busy.   

After they left, I then received a call from the home warranty company telling me that Kings Plumbing denied service because they were to busy. When I called Kings, the gentlemen on the phone, did in fact confirm,  they are not accepting the job because they are to busy and short staffed.  The entire interaction was just weird.  I felt like they were not honest with their intentions and wasted my time, forcing me to work from home on two different days when they were not in a position to take the job to start with as they are over worked and short staffed.  I know have to stay at home a 3rd day for a new company to come out and give me an estimate.

What an amazing company. We had an issue with our A/C not blowing very cold and had a George Brazil tech come out. He told us our unit had a leak and needed to be replaced. He then pushed hard to sell us a new unit and even got him manager on the phone to get us a deal. Very pushy. It felt like a car salesman pressuring us. I told them I wanted another opinion and they started pushing harder. Anyway, the next day I called Kevin. He came by the house and took about 30 minutes looking over our A/C. He told us that the coolant was low and suggested adding coolant (around $70) and seeing how long it would last before doing costly repairs or buying a new unit altogether. Talk about an opposite experience from the first company. We added coolant and it worked for another 12 months. At that point, we decided to add coolant again. This time it worked for only about 2 weeks. He came back out and checked it out. He refilled the coolant and adjusted the valve until there was no leak AT NO COST. He said that he felt like the valve was leaking and in an attempt to tighten it during the prior visit, it must have caused the leak to increase. After that visit, we haven't had any further issues. Kevin had amazing customer service and he was totally honest and open with us. I can't suggest him highly enough!

Highly recommended! The owner Raul is extremely knowledgeable and honest. He showed up as scheduled and ready to get the job done. I hired him after I hired another AC person who was trying to rip me off or did not know much about AC.

My house is now cooling and staying cold. And he was affordable!

Canyon state air conditioning install a new 3.5 ton james and drew did a great job the sale and office staff were great.

Used Cool / Hot Guys Heating and AC three times.  The owner, Joe, was amazingly quick to response and very honest about the repairs needed.  Cant recommend enough

Thanks to Brannen, we're running cool again. We had a spot of bad luck with a tech who wasn't quite up to Cool Touch snuff but Brannen came out first thing next day and fixed the mistake. He was very nice - exactly what I'd expected from my first experience with Cool Touch. He took the time to explain what went wrong and really made my husband and I feel like valued customers. He even wore those blue carpet-saving booties. We'll definitely be back - and we'll be looking at turning our water heater needs over to them since I learned that they handled those as well.

Mark did an amazing job on the installation of my garbage disposal.  Also reasonably priced.  Will definitely call him for my Plumbing needs.  Recommended.

Our AC was broken both upstairs unit and downstairs unit, two ACs I called Mike at cooler Tymes. He was polite over the phone and I asked him; Could you please come tomorrow early morning before I go to work and he immediately did not hesitate and said I will do my best he showed up exactly as he said at 6:30 AM, fixed both upstairs unit and downstairs unit in less than half an hour he's very reasonable price and very honest man he also advised me that there could be potential other things may need fixing in the near future, he also cleaned both units which I did not ask him to do without extra charges, I will always use this company and recommend Mike for all your air-conditioning needs!!

Justin arrived on time, at the very beginning of the estimated time window. He knew exactly what the issue was and how to fix it. He was courteous and professional and fixed everything on the first visit. He also knew the correct trip fee as per our home warranty. I would definitely use them again should the need arise.

A/C went out about 9 pm on a Fri night.  Called Alternative Air at 8:00 am Sat. morning, left message; called a 2nd time, left another message.  We were about to try someone else when they returned our call  around 8:30 but could not come out until 3:30-4:00.  They called at 4:15 pm and said they would be here in 10 min., and then arrived 30 min. later at 4:45 pm.  It was just a capacitor, quick and easy fix, done by 5:00 pm - and charged $160!!!!  That seems a bit excessive for a 15 min. fix, and that included the time he sat in his air conditioned truck while writing up the bill.  Have no problem when earlier calls take longer than expected and arrive late for us, but don't call at 4:15 and say you'll be here in 10 min and don't show up for 30 min.  You can get anywhere in Maricopa in 10-15 min. max.   He should have said he'd be here in 30 min., not 10, and it would have been okay.  He was courteous and professional otherwise, got the job done - but still think $160 for a 15 min. job is ridiculous.   One other thing, they don't itemize the billing, just a flat $160.  Did not break down how much for the part, how much for labor.  I don't think the capacitor could have cost that much, and if you figure about $100 in labor for 15 min., that comes to $400 an hour labor charge, assuming with mark-up about $60 for the part.   Think we might try someone else next time.  Prices should be estimated before the work is done - sort of too late once they do the work and hand you the bill.

8/19/16- Update:  AC decided to give me problems tonight.  Called Bakers at 7:30 pm and doorbell rang by 8.   1 run capacitor later, I've got nice cold AC again.  Highly recommend.....again.

Turned my furnace on (gas) and it set off the smoke detectors.  Googled heating/AC service for Surprise and got a list.  Baker was the third call and only company to actually answer the phone.  Asked Ken if he could take a look at it Monday (called Friday afternoon).  Ken said he could look at it same day and called in advance.

He serviced the system and furnace running fine.  Just needed cleaning of the AC coil.  Fast, friendly and professional.  Highly recommend.

Great company-- Tom is wonderful! He came out of his way to check out our AC situation and give us a quote that was much better than the previous company we had come out for a new one. We got it installed the following week, which is way faster than we thought! They came early in the morning and it was done before the summer heat kicked in! Woohoo to an updated AC! Oh and they fixed a few things that weren't right from the last time someone was up there before we bought the house. They are amazing! And they come to check on the install 2 weeks later. A business that cares! Thank you Mountainside Air!

Our AC went out and John the owner was out the same day and had it fixed within an hour. Such a great person to work with and very honest and professional. I was looking for a contractor to install a complete heating and a/c unit. Calling most of the directory listed companies, I could not get anyone to come out to bid. Then I ran across this new business R&R, what a find! Ray came out as scheduled and on time. He is very knowledgeable and patiently went over the details of his design. I had total confidence in his plan. We scheduled the install and Ray not once disappointed us. He made every appointment and not one late show up. Our system performs perfect! I highly recommend this business.

Kyle is dependable, super efficient, and stands behind his work.  He installed a mini-split from start to finish in 4 hours all by himself, for far less than competitors.  AND he loves this country, and is a veteran.
