My wife and I had been coddling our 22 yr old American Standard 5-ton for the last few years. We've had a few reasonable ($100-200) repairs over those 22 years, and a couple very recent $1000+ repairs. We knew we were living on borrowed time with this unit, so after looking, getting estimates, and saving up for the big bite...we settled on American Cooling & Heating in Gilbert AZ. Scot Morgan is the owner, and he's been in business in the Valley for about 30 years. His estimate was $3K less than the next best estimate, and the rest were higher. Even more amazing is the warranty from AH&C...so much better than all the others. Todd and his crew arrived early, started work immediately. They removed the old unit, along with a large MasterCool swamp cooler that was nonfunctional. They refabricated the plenum, installed a new electrical whip according to standard specs, installed the new Ruud 5-ton heat pump, ran a new evaporation drain, as well as new support timbers and resealing of the roof in that area. I've never seen a better, cleaner install of a new roof-top A/C unit!! They finished finished in a very reasonable time, and got my new ecobee thermostat set up real nice. Scot and Todd and their crews have it going on...I highly recommend them!

I purchased my Trane unit in 2009 from Scottsdale Air and recently had a service check and was reminded how profession and straightforward doing business with Scottsdale Air can be.

When I was shopping around for my unit, I got at least a half dozen quotes and was surprised by the wide variation of price range.  The price from Scottsdale Air was the best and the installation went flawlessly.

Mr. Alejandro did a fantastic job installing our Mini split, he was very professional and communicated very well about the install and process! Would recommend him to anyone looking for professional install and great service!

Called to schedule an annual check up and got an answer right away. Turns out it was the owner who answered and immediately got me on the schedule for a 2 day turn around. Tony was professional and informative about the check up.. will definitely be using him for future needs!

I used American Air and the replaced the compressor in my 5 ton unit. Two months later the air went out. The same technician came out and was indecisive about what was wrong. He finally said it was the mixing valve. I decided to what until it started to get warm before revisiting the problem which I conveyed to the technician. I called another company and got a second opinion and the called American Air back. The owners wife said that because I called another company the won't warranty the compressor. The other company says the compressor is bad and American Air said it's the mixing valve. Basically American Air stole $2000 from me and will not make food on their parts. Do not use this company!

Rex the owner was truly a pleasure to work with. One of the very few contractors I've hired over the years who calls back, shows up on time, does what he says he'll do and is truly concerned with your needs and happiness.  He won't try and up-sell you anything rather give you options, lay out the facts and let you decide.

We highly recommend Preferred Air! We recently purchased a 25-year-old home in Goodyear. The home inspector said that the air conditioner needed a tune-up so we had two companies come out. Fernando of Preferred Air was recommended by a neighbor. He did a thorough job tuning it up as best he could yet didn't try to sell us a new system (like the other company did). He suggested that we might need to replace it within the year, however. His professionalism and hard work convinced us that we should go ahead and replace it before summer began. The quoted price was better than we expected for American-made products. Preferred Air is employee owned and they really take pride in their work. They installed our new cooling and heating units, redid the duct work to make it more efficient, removed the old units and ducting, and they upgraded the thermostat. Now all our rooms are equally cool. After it ran for a couple of weeks, Fernando came back to make sure it was running properly. We couldn't be happier!

I contacted Francisco about a project with a family I was working with to get their AC fixed.
Francisco was fast, courteous and VERY Knowledgeable. Francisco will not price gouge you and tells you EXACTLY want needs to be fixed. I will recommend him to anyone in my family and friends circle.

Best service I have ever received.  Rich and his wife arrived at our residence in a timely manner, very nice people.  Rich explained in detail our issue with our AC system and how it occurred. He fixed my problem and provided some tips to keep our system up to par.  The best part of the whole thing, they cared about their customers and it showed. OMG...I just had the best experience with Bell Air. I called at 7:45 am and told them I needed my unit serviced. Was told Mike would be there between 8:00 and 10:00. Mike showed up at 8:45 and was so polite and introduced himself. Explained what he was going to do and got right to work. He got on the roof and checked things out and told me things were good. He explained about filters and looked at my dirty one and told me to change before it looks like that. He was so nice and represented the company so well. I spent hours on yelp last night and this is why I went with them. I will use them for all future air conditioning and heating issues. Thank you to Bell AIr.

Above & beyond helpful!  Responded quickly and actually read my initial request for help (my son recently home from hospital & I asked for a reply in text because my phone ringer off....).  Tech was kind and accommodating.  He even RESEARCHED MY WARRANTY (without my knowing) and got me half off!!  My AC is over ~5 years and I did not even know if warranty still existed!  Tech replaced the capacitor AND checked it all out (levels of Freon, etc).  HIGHLY RECOMMEND and support this local business!

I need to start off by saying that I called Michael at Desert Chill Air Conditioning at 6:00 pm on a Monday early evening.  My A/C unit for upstairs all of a sudden was blowing out warm air and was over 90 degrees upstairs. I couldn't be more impressed with how honest and straight forward Michael was and getting my A/C Unit up and running within 5 minutes!  He found the run capacitor to be bad, which was the best news for me as the customer. He had a new run capacitor on his truck, installed it, and what do you know, ice cold air upstairs again!  Total Cost of $65.  In the past several years, I have been given the run a round with many different A/C guys and companies.  I am so happy to finally find Michael at Desert Chill Air!  His honesty and ethics will never be forgotten in my books.  If you are looking for the run a round and many different diagnosis with these companies, call someone else.  If what you need is a quick and honest job, call Michael at Desert Chill Air Conditioning.  I am so happy I did and still can't stop smiling!

Ben is very responsive. My AC wasn't working and he fit me in with his other appointments. Within an hour he had the AC going.

Had them out today to try and fix a AC unit. The tech was here maybe 20 minutes told me the problem was the compressor and was gonna cost $5k to $7k. Or I could get an new unit for $10k to $12k. I had two more AC companies out. One actually fixed the unit and it was the motor at a significantly less cost to me. In addition I got quotes on units from $5500-$7200.
I feel like it was a total scam and they didn't try to actually help me. They charged me the $79 fee and up sold units. I will NEVER use them again.

so I had a technician come to my home and within 10 mins he told me my entire hvac needed to be replace because I have very little refrigerant in it.  He have ma an outrageous price and told me it needed replacement.  Zero options, zero information about the unit.  The next day I reached out because I have a home warranty and I need a technician report.  They tell me they have to send a new technician out he would come between 3pm-7pm.  He shows up exactly at 5pm.  I begin to tell him what happening and he cuts me off and tells me he cannot go by what another technician did or didn't do.  I was trying to bring speed to make things easier and he was extremely rude he cut me off and told me to turn on the unit. I immediately asked him to leave not dealing with anyone's bad day and it was apparent he was pissed it was after 5pm.

Just purchased new Trane AC.  Great company.  Sales guy was NO pressure. Gave best price and offered either a Trane or (I think) a York unit. Chose Trane. Install was next day. Guys were right on time. Professonal. Covered everything. Took their time. Cleaned up every ounce of dirt. Waited until I got WiFi thermostat account set up on line (they really did not have to do that).  Great craftsmen ship on sweating pipes, duct work, etc. Perfect example of how a service business should be run! Can't say enough good things. (Pete D and Justin P were my techs). Dave was the Sales guy.
