We needed a pressure reducing valve replaced. I asked for a quote through yelp and John replied promptly with a fair price. He was able to come out same day and fix our plumbing issues quickly and skillfully with a warranty on his work.

We got a new kitchen faucet to replace our 20 yr old one and put up a quote request on yelp. Farhad reached out promptly and with a very reasonable price. On top of doing a totally perfect job on the faucet he even cleared up the pipe coming from the adjacent sink. He tested everything really thoroughly and was overall an extremely pleasant and classy man to deal with. Will recommend to friends.

I could not have asked for better service anywhere else!!! Gordon assisted me in fixing a problem that I tried to tackle a few times and messed it up. I searched Yelp and he actually lives in the same neighborhood. He was no nonsense straightforward, and reasonably priced.  We scheduled and my plumbing issues were solved. The following is a five-star review for Almco Plumbing.  My mom's old 2-story house suffered a slab leak (hot water line) and after researching the options, we chose to have a partial re-pipe done to bypass the pipes in the slab.  The plumbing company we initially hired made the re-pipe repairs and also installed a new water heater we wanted, and the house had running water again.  One complaint my mom had was that the water pressure upstairs seemed lower; nothing huge, just different.  I'd been out of state and when I got to see the work that had been done it was easy for me to see it wasn't right, and I'm not a plumber.  For example, plastic pipe was exposed where it could be easily hit, as in on the wall just inside the garage door between my hand and the light switch when I went into the garage.  The 50 gallon water heater wasn't sitting level, nor was it centered on the stand and it wasn't strapped down.  If it could've been any worse, the water heater was leaning in the direction of my mom's washing machine that was right next to it and the gas shut-off valve was inaccessible.  The second thing I did was get a plumber out to correct the water heater installation.  Then the real fun began.  While the first plumbing company had told us a permit wasn't required, we learned that wasn't true.  So we had the city issue a permit, hired a contractor to remove the drywall patches, and got an inspector out.  He looked at the re-piping repairs the first plumbing company had made, failed it on multiple issues, and failed the water heater as well.  What!?  It was no surprise about the re-pipe part failing but we had already paid to have the water heater fixed.  You can't be serious!  He was; it lacked an expansion tank.  I then had to find a third plumber to come in and correct all of it, and that wasn't the easiest thing to do.  It seemed many plumbers didn't like doing this kind of work.  For the estimates I was able to get, they were right around the original cost paid and even higher.  I thought most of the hard work had already been done; a path had been chosen and the walls and ceilings were already open.  Then I found Almco Plumbing's ad, called them, explained the situation, and Vlad came out the same day to give us an estimate.  The first thing we noticed was that he was very clean, friendly, and professional.  Next, we were impressed by his knowledge of the type of work that needed to be done and his honesty about it.  While it was a lot of work, Vlad was the first one who didn't mumble and grumble and complain about it.  Finally, a plumber who was able to see the work in a positive light, with a can-do attitude.  His estimate was reasonable and fair and we hired Almco Plumbing for the job right then and there.  He gave us a start date, an estimate on how long it would take and then followed through flawlessly.  Vlad and one of his employees worked hard and fast, and cleaned up after themselves regularly.  When it was all said and done, not only did everything look better and professionally done, but the original water pressure upstairs had been restored.  I got the inspector out, he looked at all of Almco Plumbing's repairs, said it looked great and signed off on it; all of Almco Plumbing's work passed inspection without any issue or question.  That was almost three years ago and we're happy to say that all of the repairs are still working perfectly.  In all this time that has passed, we haven't had any issue with any part of it, whatsoever.  Thank you again Vlad!  You and yours are in our thoughts and prayers.

I had a slab leak and Joel came out.  He showed up on time, was professional, polite and was able to communicate the issue to me in a way that was understandable.  He found the source of the leak and walked me through all of my options.  He then cleaned up after himself and left my home at clean as it was prior to his visit.  I would definitely recommend Simpex Repipe & Plumbing.  They were reasonably priced, professional and really worked with me after having a terrible experience with another plumbing company.  And Chris in the office is a great listener and even better at follow-up!  Thank you!

Certified Restoration is a 24hr. Water Removal and Remediation Co. in San Diego. We are constantly calling out plumbers to fix pipes so we can dry-out a building or home. I was super stoked to be able to use a local business for a garbage disposal replacement, and even happier with the demeanor and fairness of KC.  He was quick, thorough and an all around good guy!  I will definitely call him the next time I need a plumber!

I had two toilets that didn't flush well and they augured them for me. Their price on the web site says drain cleaning: $68,  but doesn't mention the quantity. So that was $68 dollars apiece. Insanely expensive. I'm mad at myself because I could've bought an auger at Home Depot for 15-40 bucks. Looks dead simple to operate.

Then I also had a toilet that had an air leak. It was constantly hissing and I figured it would be a matter of time before it started leaking water, so they quoted me $250 to replace the fill mechanism. HOLY SMOKES! I could buy the kit at Home Depot for $25 and figure out how to do it myself. The guy knocked off $100 and I didn't really want to do it myself. So, I ended up paying $150 for a $15 part replace. I wish that were the worst of it, but it wasn't. After he left my toilet started filling and leaking water. I called the company and they said it was probably the flapper valve. So I went down to HD and bought a new one and put it in myself. While removing the old flapper valve I found a piece of white tubing. Not sure if that got left behind when the guy changed out the fill unit and that was causing me the issue, or not. But at least it is working now, thanks to my efforts, not theirs.

Very disappointed at the price and the results. I totally feel taken advantage of.

I have used Don Laidlaw for a number of plumbing issues.  He stands by his work and always does a fine job.  

The last time I used him I had a whole house water filter installed outside the house.  After he left we noticed a small leak that night and called Don back.

It turns out that when Don manipulated the pipe outside a small hairline crack formed inside the wall.

Don came back immediately the next day (which turned out to be Father's Day) and discovered, cut through the wall and fixed everything.

The thing that impressed me most was the quality of his cuts through the wall, the replacement of everything, and the initial work he did.

I know that he was excited about spending Father's Day with his kids and I respected that he took a part of that day and followed through to make sure the job was complete and of good quality.

When it comes to hiring a professional to work for you, you can't ask for more than that.

Chris and team were incredible. So knowledgable, kind, and efficient. They knew how to get the job done and went above and beyond to satisfy our needs. He even helped me light a wonky pilot light in my heater! We'll definitely be using again and recommending to all friends and family!

I had one of those stressful days where I discovered flooding in my basement the day before I was about to travel out of town for a couple of days.  I called Pipe Bros for an emergency same day appointment and explained the situation; they were very kind about the situation and set up an appointment later that afternoon.  Christian came out within the two-hour appointment window and promptly figured out the issue with the flooding.  He was very professional and nice as well; he was explaining everything as he went along.  Christian also was super honest about the issue and didn't try to offer services that I didn't need, which I really appreciated.  Seriously, this a great company and I highly recommend them if you have a plumbing issue.  I will definitely be using their services in the future!

Travis came by today for a small job to install a new kitchen faucet. He is beyond awesome! Communication was great, I sent him a message thru Yelp and got a quick response. Texted me when he was on his way. He was very respectful of our house, clean, careful and did an amazing job.  He is a super knowledgeable, nice guy who has just gotten another customer for life! Mike, Elizabeth and the team are a pleasure to work with. They are professional, patient, very courteous, and thorough. I needed an expert to diagnose a leak. They scheduled someone the next day. My entire upstairs bathroom flooded on me last minute a couple days ago, being new to Ocean Beach I was skeptical with all the other companies and all their mixed reviews. I came across Prince Charmin Plumbing with only a few reviews so I took a chance. The owner Devin was so informative, helpful and patient, the customer service of his employees honestly were beyond what I expected, they were so professional with quick service and walking me through every step of the way. I'm so happy I took a chance on them and they'll always be my go to for any future problems I have.
