You won't find a better plumber than KC Montgomery. He has been our go to plumber for years now after many failed plumbers. He is a godsend. Honest, smart, knows what he's doing and does it the right way for the long term so it is done right the first time.
He is a gem and you will be so satisfied that you will kick yourself for not finding him sooner. He has done everything I've ever needed for two of my homes and one of my homes has VERY OLD plumbing. He always goes beyond my expectations and charges a fair price and gets things done efficiently.
My whole family appreciates KC. He is like family now!

I had a leaking pipe in my garage that started on Sunday. Called 2 plumbers and didnt have much luck. I went to Yelp and started reading reviews and decided to give Monty's a call at 8am Monday morning. Monty showed up at my place, diagnosed the problem and was doin work by 9:30am. The price he quoted me was super reasonable. Luckily the leak was no where near as bad as I thought it might be and it was fixed in under an hour. He was easy to chat with and answered all my questions.

I needed a complicated water filtration system replaced. Figure I could do it myself with the help of a YouTube video. Well, all I can say is that it wasn't as easy as I first thought. These guys made it look easy though.

KC upgraded all plumbing and gas lines in my 1914 Craftsmen and the lines coming into the house from outside many of the lines were in hard to reach places

Monty seemed nice and I was excited to use him to install a toilet for me. After we worked out a time for him to come do the work, he declined the job because he was only interested in working in single family homes. Since I have a condo in a larger complex, he just didn't want to deal with the liabilities associated. I can understand that, just a bit frustrated that I'm back to the drawing board.

Unbelievably good.  Excellent coordination, service, expertise, quality and reliability at a very reasonable price.  Dealt with Dover for years until they changed ownership and everything went down hill.  KC called to say he could come early and fixed 3 projects in a flash.

Thanksgiving night, a pipe ruptured in our finished basement and I had 2 of water in a one room where it started and water puddling in the adjacent rooms.

I got the water shut off and after pushing a lot of the water out the door I tried to contact a couple of well known plumbing companies but no one was on duty and the answering services didn't know whether their clients would even be in to work the on day after thanksgiving. After seeing good reviews, I called Monty's Plumbing to hopefully get someone scheduled for Friday morning since we had to shut off water/toilets/etc.  Not a good evening.

KC Montgomery, THE OWNER, ANSWERED HIS PHONE ON THANKSGIVING DAY and agreed to come out Friday morning, even though his wife had their first child a couple hours prior to my call.  He came, he saw, he fixed and at a very reasonable price.  Great skilled and well trained plumber who is also a nice guy.  

He's my man for any plumbing needs going forward.

We heard about KC/Monty's Plumbing from referrals from multiple friends who just had some work done by KC and they were both extremely happy with his work and professionalism.  We had just found out we had a slab leak  in the hot water pipe leading to the kitchen in a downstairs closet, and since it was a weekend  we really wanted to find and at least get a temporary fix as quickly as possible. Unfortunately KC was out of town but he still answered his phone and gave recommendations to us for leak detection and cleanup companies of which were fantastic

When it came to getting the actually leak fixed and re-routed we initially were going to go with the company that we had do the leak detection for more that they were familiar with it and we wanted to get this fixed as soon as possible (still in freak out mode!) We decided to slow down and get another couple of bids. What really impressed us with KC was he gave his frank assessment of where we should do the re-route and why (which differed a bit from previous companies) but because we had some strange nook and crannies with our walls etc. he wanted to bring in another pair of eyes to assess what he was seeing and if it would be the most direct and best course course of action. He brought in Dave, and they conferred and came up with a plan that would end up being easy, direct and would save us a ton of repair work in the future.  

Besides being very pleasant to talk to and professional his pricing was very competitive so we decided to go with Monty's Plumbing.  Because of the fact it was still a re-route, he wanted to get his whole crew involved so they could get the job done as quickly as possible for us because it was during one of the scorcher of days we had here in San Diego County.  Their attack plan worked without a hitch and were able to get it done within a half a day vs the whole day which was planned. The quoted price stayed the same, they cleaned up after themselves and we are very pleased to be able to run the dishwasher again. Thanks guys!

I couldn't be happier.  I called Monday afternoon and we made an appointment for Tuesday morning.  He showed up a few minutes early, came in masked, and correctly diagnosed the problem as soon as I explained what was going on.  It took him less than 10 minutes and the price was more than fair.

I was leaving for work a couple of days ago and entered our garage to find a mini version of the Bellagio's water show gushing over our water heater.  KC was referred to us by our go-to handyman, Chad.  

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting KC in person, but my husband was very pleased with the services rendered.  Apparently, even though KC was pretty booked for the day, he was kind enough to swing by quickly after a job to take a look.  It was a simple replacement of the pipe leading to our water heater, and he was able to repair with parts.  Hubster said KC was very kind and a pleasure to work with.  Price was also reasonable for an emergency service.  I was just happy to come back to a resolved disaster.  Happy wife rule successfully met.

Per my husband, KC's service and work = 5 stars.  I am hoping we won't have any plumbing issues in the near future, but he's now on our list of professionals who wear capes.  We will be referring him for plumbing needs and thank him for his excellent service!

Having just bought a house, I would have given them a lot of business over several projects and repairs.  Their loss.

Monty's Plumbing came out and replaced seven thirty-year-old plumbing lines and valves to sinks and a toilet. I called, and they responded and did the job the same day.   Reasonable pricing.  Very professional.  I'll call them again if I need plumbing work.

My wife and I just purchased an older home in Del Cerro, and like many older homes, it has issues. The roof needs fixing, the electrical needs fixing, etc. So, when the hot water in the master bathroom shower leaked out to a trickle, we knew something was up. We called our home warranty company, and they sent out a plumber to look at it. He determined that we needed new pipes, and was going to charge us $8,400 to do it (giving us a summer discount since he was going to charge us $13,000).

Well, before we were going to do anything, we were going to be damn well sure that we needed new pipes, so we called KC with Monty's Plumbing. He came out, was courteous, played with my dog, and checked our pipes. Turns out, our pipes were fine, and he fixed our water pressure issue in an hour. His charge? $70. SEVENTY DOLLARS. Now, KC knew that what the previous bid was, and he could have charged a lot more than $70 and we would have paid it. Instead, he was totally honest. I can't recommend him enough.

Opened my cabinet under my sink... And noticed my garbage disposal busted! Thank God for a bucket or I would have had a bigger problem on my hands.

KC is the BEST, hands-down.  He fixed problems in my WWII-era house that were unfixable to other plumbers.  Plus, he managed to repair existing issues in place without costly demolition and other recommended repairs which I had been quoted.  Look, it's plumbing, not a new Mercedes.  He's also jolly and cheerful and brimming with integrity.  'Reading this review looking for a top plumber?  Don't waste your precious time looking any further.  You just found the guy you want.

I've been using Monty's Plumbing for years.  He is great at what he does and so honest. I asked him to give me a second opinion on another plumber's recommendation to replace a shower faucet (which would have cost me hundreds of dollars) and he fixed the faucet in five minutes with a screwdriver. He's the best!!!

Had to get a kitchen faucet set replaced and it turned out that my top of my kitchen cabinets were too thick for the Kohler fixture I bought to go all the way through.   Kevin pointed out the problem, and went ahead and sawed around the cabinet holes enough to get the new fixtures
in place (this was a tough job).   Looks and works great now.   He also fixed a problem that I hadn't expected to fix -- my Takagi tankless water heater wouldn't stay on with my new shower (flow rate too low).   It took him all of 5 minutes to fix, and I've been working around that problem for 3 years by running hot water in my sink while I took my showers.

This local company is the most responsive reliable plumber around. He knows his stuff, and always tells me what's necessary vs what I might want to consider doing over time (my house is 65 years old.). I've had at least 10 different needs over the years, and I'm always helped quickly at a very fair price. When I've had to call a different plumber due to Monty's being out of town, other plumbers are always very slow and much more expensive. Can't say enough good things about Monty's!

Called and had a plumber at my house bright and early the next morning. He was friendly and did more than I expected him to do. Great and clean job but most importantly, fixed our shower that previous plumbers couldn't figure out what the problem was. Highly recommend!

Called Montys on a Yelp whim and they were awesome! Busted pipe under the house and they fixed it asap with no up selling.  They did honest and thorough work in a decent amount of time. They were even considerate of my napping toddler!

Super great.  I called yesterday morning.  Someone was here yesterday afternoon to see what I needed.  The work was completed today.  In 24 hours I was all set, the pricing was fair, they were kind and answered all of my questions.  Love these guys.

Called KC about a broken water heater He said he could get to the next day He arrived earlier than I expected removed the old one which I installed 6 yrs ago said it might be under warrenty so we checked sure enough Dixie line gave me a new one and KC installed it  4 hrs latter all was done and cleaned up 5 stars for Monty's plumbing and KC great job, great guy. Well, thank God for honest, smart, nice plumbers!  I had a long list for Kevin to do and he made quick work of all of it.  My favorite thing?.....by far the reverse osmosis system!  It works great and the water tastes so clean.  Thanks again guys for being there for this female family!

Since going Solar I wanted to find more ways to slash my monthly bills while embracing cutting edge technology.  That is with a Condensing Tankless Water Heater.

I had a feeling I would be able to source a tank myself and hire someone local to install it, someone with a great reputation.

I called around to some of the bigger installers and their prices were way out of line, or they wouldn't quote me for pure labor, only trying to sell me a tank as well.

I ended up calling Monty's plumbing and got a call back from KC.  He wanted to check out my house first to get a look at what would need to be done and give me an accurate quote.

It was with his advice that I decide on an outdoor vs an indoor unit as well.

His quote was half or better of other quotes I received.  KC, Dave, and their other partner, Mac-Daddy, came and got the install done in less than 3 hours and the pipe-work for both water and gas is quite exquisite.

I will be calling them back for any other normal plumbing needs as well.

I found Monty's due to the great reviews on Yelp and from my experience they are well deserved!  KC installed a new gas line for a fireplace we installed upstairs, and also added a log lighter to a downstairs fireplace.  He did a great job at en extremely fair price, and was super pleasant to deal with.  I highly recommend him and will gladly use him again on future plumbing needs.

I know it's cliche to say, but I'd give zero stars if I could.

BLUF: I hired this company to clear a drain, and by ignoring what I told them they broke my plumbing, ran water into my walls, and I had to replace the entire plumbing run.

Now for the full story... I called this company to clear a slow draining sink. Now I'm a landlord and have done fairly extensive work on this building. By the time I called I had already tried snaking it myself, but that hadn't gotten me anywhere. I should have known from the start not to use this company because when I'm explaining all this the person on the other end (who I assumed was the owner) they were pretty dismissive of what I had done or the questions I was asking. He said it needed to be snaked and when I told him I had tried this he said: We'll I have a more expensive snake so I doubt it compares to what you used. Anyway in the end I agree but I tell him that to do the snake job he needs to start from the sink, and not to use the clean-out on the outside of the house (because I know it's rusted shut and trying to force it open will break the old cast iron pipe).

So the next day he sends one of his guys to snake the drain and I leave my primary job to meet him and let him in the tenant's place. In showing him where to work I also showed him the outside clean-out and tell him: Whatever you do don't mess with this. Then I leave as the tenant is then home and I get a call later telling me that the snake didn't work (not that I was surprised given that I had already tried this). So the owner and I talk more and he tells me it needs a hydro-cleaning. I'm skeptical but at this point the slow draining sink has turned to a non-draining sink and I want to get this fixed for the tenant.

Unfortunately I can't be there to meet them for this next step but the tenant is there to let them in to do the work. Anyway I get a frantic call from my wife later who came across them working on the outside of the building, trying to open the clean-out I had told everyone to stay clear of with water now coming out of the walls. They had broken the old cast iron pipe and in so doing forced me into a full replacement.

The worst part is they refused to take responsibility for it and blamed it on my pipes (They're old pipes it not our fault they broke... They clearly need to be replaced.)

....Well now that you broke them you're absolutely right. Needless to say I didn't use them to replace the plumbing.

Anyway use these guys at your own risk.

Casey is the most honest, knowledgeable and caring plumber I have ever contracted! Our family has been calling on Montey's plumbing for all our plumbing needs since 2008 and we are very grateful to have found Montey's plumbing.

Summary: Good price, good service, very professional, will be using them if I ever need a plumber again.

Details:  I called Monty's Plumbing and left a messsage on a Sunday afternoon.  A couple hours later, I get a call from KC, looking to come by and give an estimate.  He was there the next day, and he and his team were very professional, and more than competent.  I was very confident that they would do the job right, and not try to rip me off.

When they came out to fix the problem, my confidence was rewarded.  The job was finished quickly and correctly.  I would highly recommend calling them to at least get a quote, and you can't go wrong hiring them to do the job.

Great quality work, Good and fair pricing and honest. Very friendly and cleaned up after completing the work. .  Explained throughly the job and alternatives.  Couldn't recommend more.

It's times like these when I love Yelp.  We woke up one morning to cold-water showers.  After a little investigating, found that our ancient tankless water-heater was no longer working.  A quick yelp scan found Monty's, and I gave them a ring.  KC called me back quickly, and was on-sight to check the problem out the very next day.  

Now, let me be clear, KC had just returned from vacation and was hammered with calls and requests from existing customers, and I was some 'new guy' he had never done business with. Yet, he prioritized my call because No one likes cold showers.  He came up with a solution that was quick, efficient, and well priced.  

Talk about full service; KC, even helped me deal with my 'Home Warranty' insurance company, by calling them and explaining the problem, and his rec commendation.

I should also note, that initially the same insurance company sent me some other bozo plumber, that wanted to charge a thousand dollars more than KC.

The install is clean, efficient, and well done. This is a guy that likes it 'done right', and wants his customers to be completely satisfied, and makes the effort to do just that.  
In fact, a week later I received an email from KC, following up to make sure everything is working well (it is!)

I just found my new 'go-to' plumber.

After reading the reviews here about Monty's Plumbing, I decided to give KC a call for a bid on a major renovation project. Living in Sunset Cliffs I had a fair share of plumbers show up and give nearly five figure bids for a tankless water heater and a few gas lines after they saw my view of the ocean.

KC's bid was nearly half of some other subcontractors and he was able to drop the bill further after he started the work. Now that's honest! When some things didn't work properly the first time because of the convoluted state of my existing plumbing, he was very prompt in getting things back on track.

I can't recommend him enough. His service is top notch, the price was very fair, and he absolutely wants the customer to be satisfied.

As a first time home buyer imagine my horror when I woke up to a shower that wasn't draining and a toilet that was flooding from the base three months after we moved in. Called our home warranty company and they send out a guy who claims that what we need to do cannot be done within our coverage (and if you yelp this company you will see terrible reviews for this fact).  I turn to Yelp, call a few plumbers and immediately got the feeling that KC knew what he was talking about and could be trusted. I also really appreciated that when you call Monty's you talk to KC who can talk about your problem over the phone, with a lot of these larger companies you are left to talk to a receptionist and not an actual plumber which means you can't really get a good estimate for a larger issue.

KC was able to show up the next morning and he was able to unclog our main drain from the clean out the other plumber said wasn't going to be a good option and he was really good at meeting his approximate estimate.  My husband really liked him too. Unfortunately for us, this is probably the first of many plumbing issues we will have while we own this home and I am so glad that we found a plumber that I wouldn't hesitate to call at the first sign of another issue.

KC is awesome! He has come to our rescue with clogged sinks, and majorly backed up Bathtubs a few times. He was friendly, nice and always makes sure I am in the know of what he was doing. We have a back unit where he has helped us out from time to and is always easy to get in contact with. We have a dog, and he always remembers her name and always takes time to give her some attention.
Well, if you want good, honest service, look no further!

KC replaced our water heater. He was great. All-in price was completely reasonable. He does good, honest work. We're new to the area. So, this was our first time using Monty's, but we'll definitely call them again for our next plumbing need.

I found KC Montgomery to be the most reliable, honest and dear I say... compassionate plumber I've ever met.  He took care of a few plumbing issues for me and each time he found the least expensive, easiest fix and was so nice about it.  

As a single woman it is sometimes challenging to find someone who will give you the honest scoop without trying to take advantage of your inexperience.  I was told I needed extensive shower remodeling and KC came in and fixed the problem for a few dollars... literally.  

I am so confident about recommending him to my dearest friends and will use him for all my future plumbing needs.

My wife and I have used KC twice (so far). First for a clogged disposal that had to be snaked, then also to change out our kitchen sink/hardware. He is really knowledgeable, professional, and an all around great guy. He got the job done quickly and with no mess.  I referred him to my own parents.

I first met KC of Monty's Plumbing back in January 2008.  I was having a birthday dinner party and my kitchen sink was clogged so I called a plumber to clear the line that evening.  No luck, the plumber was unable to clear the line and I was charged anyway for the site visit!  A friend that had come over that evening recommended KC of Monty's plumbing so I called.  The next day KC came over and cleared the line out in 5 minutes.  I was so happy with KC's work, pricing and business etiquette I had him come over the following week to perform some upgrade work in my kitchen.

To this day I still use and recommend KC of Monty's Plumbing.

I live in OB and was looking for a good, honest plumber.  I looked on yelp, and read reviews. Monty's plumbing has near universal strong approval from his customers.  I found KC to be an extremely affable, honest, professional and capable plumber, so it makes sense that his customers love him.  He's super quick and has a remarkable ability to think outside the box (no not everything needs to be ripped out and replaced at huge $$).   Plumbers that actually try to save their customers money are extremely rare and should be coveted.

In short:  I cannot recommend him highly enough.  

ps.  you will read one negative review-- who I think is probably another plumber who can't compete against Monty's or a crazy customer.  Rude and a waste of time?  Couldn't be further from the truth.....

Monty's KC came out today and within the hour took out our broken faucet, replaced it with the new one I had previously purchased, cleaned up under the sink.

Pricing was very reasonable. And they even came back after I remembered and told him our toilet hasn't been flushing right recently. He tried his best to fix the flushing problem and recommended we replace. He spent maybe 10-15 minutes extra to try and fix the toilet.

Very nice and easy to work with. Very happy with the work. Very honest. Just awesome!

Live in OB and had a backed up tub on a Monday morning. The guy who serviced my house got here very quickly and was very polite. The service was super speedy and all is now good with the plumbing. I called Montys at 10:44am and he was finished and left by 11:30am. I was pretty impressed. Would definitely call them again in the future.

Monty's and their owner KC were awesome-- reasonably priced, honest, responsible and did a great job for us within the time period promised.  We had various plumbing issues at our OB house.  We obtained quotes from two other companies first.  One company, 5 star on Angie's list, gave an outrageously priced quote (we consulted our House inspector).  The other company's quote was a little better but also high and plus they tried to get us do a whole lot more than perhaps needed.  Comparing the interactions with these companies, Monty's seemed a lot more honest and straightforward, even when interacting with someone looked easily fooled (I mean myself).   I would recommend Monty's for your plumbing issues and perhaps some of the green (water conservation) plumbing projects they offer.

I recommend KC to all my clients!  He is a straight-shooter and a very knowledgeable plumber.  He has saved the day on more than one occasion.  He is punctual, honest and tidy.  He also has the perfect personality for customer service!  Keep it up KC - I wish you continued success!

The plumber I used to replace my hot water heater was highly recommended on one of those review websites, but I would not refer anyone to him. Although he did get the repair done, it took all of one day and half of another, and I was without hot water the whole time.  In addition, he left a mess on the garage floor that he should have swept up. I hope his plumbing work was better than his clean up.

I needed to get a pipe in the wall moved over so I could fit an in-wall medicine cabinet in. Kevin from Monty's came and cut the pipe and then soldered the new pipe in. He was quick, efficient and really easy to work with.  I highly recommend them.

Called these guys on the basis of their good Yelp reviews. They answered the phone immediately (even though it was after 5 PM), and scheduled a technician to come out the next morning between 8 and 9. The technician arrived on time (they even gave me a call when he was en route), solved our plumbing problems quickly, and charged a very reasonable amount for the service.  We will definitely be using them again!

KC came over to the house on a Saturday to take a look at a leak from my dishwasher.  He saw that it was a simple issue to correct but I know nothing about plumbing so I was very grateful for his help.  I panicked when I saw water under the sink and all over the floor and figured it would be very expensive, turned out to be the opposite.  Dishwasher is working perfectly now, thanks KC!!!

They came when they said they would, which right away is a big plus. My bathroom is small, they kept working on the job until it was finished and a new toilet could fix. I will definitely keep using them.

I have a plumbing problem at my house and came across Montys through Yelp. I called and told them my siutation and sadly I was not in their service area but the guy I was talking to (maybe his name is Mike) recommended other plumbers and water companies to call and was extremely helpful, even though he didnt have to be. I would recommend Montys just for their customer service I received and the fact that they helped someone that wasnt even in their area. I greatly appreciate the advice and recommendations they provided.

The plumber that we usually use for drain and plumbing issues was having vehicle trouble and could not help us so I took my chance with Monty. I have to say we were very pleased with them. He was not able to fix the problem because it is more of a problem than expected. They referred us to a plumber who can cut into the wall. Thank you Monty for trying your hardest to fix my moms drains. Will keep you posted on the referral you gave us.

I've lived in San Diego for five years and never really needed the services of a plumbing company. I was moving and needed some work done so I was referred to KC at Monty's. He came right over, fixed my issues, and has even referred people to my new house who did work outside of his expertise. He is trustworthy, easy to work with, and does the job right.

I had to write about a great experience with Monty's Plumbing. I had flushed a plastic bottle down our toilet. KC actually gave me suggestions on how to fix the problem myself before I spending money on having him come out. His suggestions worked and I thought it was very impressive and honest of him to offer help free of charge. Loved KC!!!  He was extremely knowedgeable, friendly and at the right price.  Like the other reviews, I never got that uncomfortable feeling like I needed to guard my stuff.  If anything, I left a few times.  Monty's Plumbing is a company I know I can trust and feel comfortable recommending to any of my friends or family.

Roughed in our bathroom quickly and perfectly.  Then 6 months later our hot water heater broke.  He took my call late on a Sunday afternoon, came over the next morning and had the old one out and the new one in w/in 24 hours.  EXCELLENT customer service!  Friendly, fast - the type of person you want to give business to.

K.C. is a PRO!!!  It's as simple as that.  He has the knowledge, professionalism, and honesty that you want to find in someone you hire.  He was easy to schedule an appointment with and worked quickly and efficiently. K.C. takes pride in his work and it shows.  He's a regular, down to earth guy who loves what he does.  I will always recommend K.C.  I stand behind his GREAT work.

KC was quick to respond to the message that I left on his machine and even quicker to get here to fix our problem.  We had sewage coming out of our bath tub when we would flush our toilet.  He quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed within the hour.  He even honored a coupon for OB locals that I didn't know existed.  All in all he runs a great business and if we ever need another plumber he will be the first we call.  I couldn't give him a higher recommendation.

If you're looking to support a great local OB business, KC is your man. Friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly doesn't over charge you. His rates were some of the lowest I found.  He was able to come to the rescue within hours of my calling him.

You just can't get any better service than Monty's Plumbing.  Honest, fast, reliable service is what you get along with a smile.  I recently had a gas line rerouted in the rental house we have and it was done quickly and expertly.  We will next be having them add a new heater to the house.  They have a lot of skills between them.  You can't go wrong with this company.

I called. They came a couple hours later. Could NOT be nicer! Seriously. Free I charge, thy drove to us and gave their input. I will use them for ALL our business needs!

We replaced just about all of our sewer pipe, installed new sinks, washer and dryer, tankless water heater, garbage disposal, and a dishwasher. Access under the house was very difficult but KC got creative and got the job done at a reasonable price.

We had a small plumbing problem - not an emergency but we needed a plumber to fix a pipe.  Called Monty's and was able to schedule an appointment quickly.  Plumber (Guy) arrived promptly, surveyed the issue and was able to fix it in 20 minutes.  He knew what he was doing.  Price was more than fair and we will gladly use them again.

We had a sudden leak in a water pipe under a deck and I called Monty's.  Kevin came out and assessed the situation and recommended a course of action that fixed the problem for a very reasonable cost.  I appreciated that he called with an update of when he would arrive, was great at communicating his recommendation for fixing it and was very conscientious about ensuring that the areas where he worked were left clean.  It's great to have the water back on... I'd definitely use Monty's again!

I have been depending on the incredible plumbing services Monty's provides for about a year now.  Managing two older homes in the Crown Point area of San Diego, I was in dire need of a plumber that I could not only trust to preform stellar work, but that I could also trust to provide me with the best, most competitive prices out there.  I actually was lucky enough to discover Monty's after getting a couple different quotes from several plumbers, and not surprisingly, Monty's quoted me with the most fair price and also most comprehensive service.  Being that the homes I manage are older, I have had Monty's come out time and time again and I have yet to be disappointed.  I know that this company is very sought after in San Diego and obviously then very busy, but I have always felt like a priority when I have a plumbing issue.  I could not recommend this company any more than I currently do.

KC and his entire crew are awesome!  They are so professional, courteous, quick to respond, and trustworthy.  I have been working with KC now for a few years and the experience is consistent every time. I had an emergency very early this morning and a few months ago and I received an immediate call back and someone out to my house to fix the problems asap.  They do very good work at really good prices, very fair!  I highly recommend them! Today I worked with Greg and Dave as well as KC and all three were wonderful!

I usually can fix basic plumbing problems but had a very stubborn tub spout that refused to be removed and replaced. I checked Yelp and called Monty's, expecting to get scheduled for next week. KC was here the next day, replaced the tub spout and even regrouted around the shower water handle fixture when he noted that it could cause serious problems in the future. BOOM! Work done, he cleaned up after himself, we chatted, I paid a fair price. He is definitely our San Diego plumber for life!!

I woke up on Saturday at 2:30 a.m. to find our home flooded from a broken pipe.  KC from Monty's Plumbing was at my home a month earlier for a clogged drain, and so I called him again for this problem.  He was at our home within 10 minutes of the call...on a SATURDAY!  He rerouted the pipes (copper installed in '49)  around the break and we were able to turn our water back on and start the clean up process.  Monty's Plumbing provides outstanding, professional service at a fair price, (which seems to be a rarity these days - I tried five other plumbing services before finding Monty's) and I will definitely use them in the future!!

KC has made multiple emergency house calls for us (even on Saturdays) & has been extremely helpful. He even checks in a few days after to make sure everything is still working properly. Seriously the best customer service.

KC is my plumber for life! He's extremely honest and trustworthy. I've had him out to help with leaks and he always finds the most efficient and least expensive solution to the problem. I know when I have a big plumbing problem I'll have someone to go to. My neighbor used him and he fixed their plumbing for a lot less than they were expecting.

We developed a leak under our kitchen sink; we thought it was the garbage disposer, but weren't sure.  I called Monty's, which I had found on Yelp; the phone was answered immediately by KC.  He was booked for the day, but had a little time between two jobs, and with no reluctance, agreed to come and look at our job.  He showed up (with a smile on his face) when he said he would, diagnosed the problem within a few minutes, and had Kevin install a new disposer that same afternoon. What a pleasant surprise to find a company owner so accommodating and personable and an employee so friendly and capable. We'll certainly use them again and recommend them to all our friends.

This is the 2nd time that we've had Monty's Plumbing come and fix various things, and KC is THE BEST!  He is very personable, professional, thorough and will not fix things that don't need fixing!  As the plumbing experts we are (NOT!), he went and bought parts based upon what we told him.  Turned out we were wrong, and he went ahead and fixed the things that DID need to be fixed, altho' he could have easily performed the unnecessary repairs and we wouldn't have known better.  And he didn't charge us for the parts purchased!  He is honest and we felt comfortable leaving the house and going out for lunch while he & his associate worked.  His prices are reasonable and the work gets done quickly and efficiently.  Even our grumpy dog liked him!  For any future plumbing needs we will continue to call him for sure!  Check him out, you won't be disappointed!

Monty's is a plumbing service that met all my needs and I will be using them again! KC and Kevin were timely, patient,  and informative as to what could and couldn't be done with an old shower diverter valve replacement that broke along with a toilet that leaked and replacing a bathroom faucet on a pedestal sink. I found the discontinued parts for shower and toilet and they came back to install and they saved me hundreds of dollars by not having to tear out the old valves. In addition, they are great guys that are honest and fairly priced. You are in great hands when you have a plumbing issue and call Monty's Plumbing.

I love Monty's Plumbing! I had a backed up shower drain and he came out that day to fix it. It was really reasonably priced and very quick! He was in and out in less than 45 minutes. Very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was wrong. Also, very friendly and great with my dog! I would recommend Monty's to anyone. Monty's Plumbing is awesome!  KC is the owner and main plumber, along with his excellent able crew.  He is a real person, who takes pride in his work and does a first class job.  Each job is approached like it was his house that he was working on - whew - that is refreshing.  We've used KC for 4 different jobs and were pleased and satisfied each time.  There are no surprises.  If an unintended issue surfaces, it is discussed immediately, with pros and cons, and dollar impact.  Bottom line, there are a lot of plumbers out there, but Monty's Plumbing is the real thing - you will be happy.

If you're looking for an honest person, KC is the must go to plumber. He was out of town but identified a couple of causes for my garbage disposal not working and walked me through a couple of possible solutions over the phone.  I don't anyone who would forgo making money.  He also helped me with a clogged shower.   No more searching for a reliable and trust-worthy plumber....I have him saved in my phone and so should you!!!

I found Monty's on Yelp (thank you Yelpers for honest reviews).  KC Montgomery (aka Monty) provided exceptional service.  I had a clog somewhere in the system and needed help asap.  I called KC who scheduled me that same day, arrived 5 minutes early and went right to work.  He accessed various entry points to get to the clog.  He charged me what he told me he would charge (no extras for having to go into multiple access points).  He knows what he is doing and was very thorough even staying after the clog was cleared to ensure the water was flowing through the system as it should.  Never had a plumber do that.  Monty's Plumbing is a keeper for my plumbing needs.

KC Montgomery runs a great business...he persevered at my house until the problem was solved.  He is quick to return phone calls, shows up on-time, and even checks-in after the work is completed to make sure everything is A-OK.  They did a great job cleaning up after they were done and are extremely thorough.  And, to top it all off, his rates are quite reasonable.  We will definitely use Monty's Plumbing for our plumbing needs in the future.

Wow! A small owner run business that puts the big ones to shame. I had some gas line issues. KC the owner came, fixed it, then the old gas line that they didn't mess with started leaking (due to other forces) . AND it was hard to get to. I saw big dollar signs. KC came and fixed it using a creative, less expensive method. Best of all he closed the loop on the gas problem making sure that the system was good to go so no future problems. I've used many plumbers in the past but this is the first guy I felt really just wanted to do quality work at reasonable costs. I will definately use this guy again - he cares about the quality and his reputation, and not just making a buck.

I have had nothing but bad plumbers for years and I finally looked at yelp and called KC at Monty's Plumbing.  He diagnosed my problem correctly over the phone, came out and looked at it and told me I needed a new part.  Helped me order it over the phone and then told me he wouldn't charge me for this visit.  He came back as soon as the part came in and installed it perfectly but the amazing thing is that he cleaned up and put all the supplies back underneath my sink after he finished the job!!!  His charges were fair and he works quickly and honestly. He gets back to you quickly when you call to make an appointment.  You will not be disappointed if you call Monty's for your next plumbing job. I am sold!!!

Casey is great.  We had a problem with our new water heater and he made the time to come over a couple hours after I called him.  WOW, same day service.  He is very professional and extremely nice.   I would highly recomment him!!

I used Monty's Plumbing today based on great reviews on Yelp. They were really helpful. KC came to my house within a half hour of me calling and had the problem fixed within 15 minutes. He was accommodating to my schedule and was really friendly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber based on my experience today and will use Monty's Plumbing again.

KC was wonderful. He came out to help me with my ailing and clogged wash basin. Within 15 minutes on a Saturday KC was at my door and fixing the issue. Finished within the hour and kind the entire time, I will call KC with any future plumbing issues and will recommend him to anyone that will listen.

So my toilet clogged. Too much TP. I called Monty's, left a message and got a response a minute later from KC. Didn't have to wait long at all since I live in OB. Once he got here it was smooth sailing and he worked quickly and efficiently. KC was such a nice guy and the service was fantastic!! I will call them for all my plumbing needs!! THANKS KC!

I have nothing but great things to say about Casey at Monty's Plumbing. You know that awkward feeling that you can get when you have a complete stranger in your house? I never had that feeling when Casey was here. He was extremely professional, efficient, and personable. After 5 minutes, I felt like I was just having a neighbor over - very comfortable and easy conversation. He installed a new toilet in our apartment and everytime he walked into the living room, my dog would run over to greet him, and he never got irritated by it. He would stop for a moment and talk to her and pet her everytime that she did it, and she (and I) couldn't have been happier about it. He also removed our beloved aquarium toilet seat from the old toilet and put it on the new one for me when I couldn't get the washers to budge. And, on top of all that, when I mentioned that our sink had been draining slowly, he unclogged it in like 2 minutes. Very efficient! A few weeks later, he came back to install a garbage disposal for my neighbor and also to prep a recently vacant unit to be rented out. We were in the front yard playing with our dog when he pulled up and turns out he had brought his dog with him. It couldn't have worked out better because our dogs had the best play-date ever! Those of you who have dogs know that a tired dog is a happy dog. Our dog was exhausted and so content. It was a nice perk to having to call a plumber!
