Had a backed up bathroom sink and some concerns about a possibly related slow draining tub. Based on good Yelp reviews I called Joyce plumbing who came out with the clear top priority of clearing the sink that was clogged and not draining at all and second priority to check out the potentially slow draining tub.

Joyce's plumber came and attempted to clear the clog in the sink but was unsuccessful. I was told I would be charged for the work despite their inability to clear the drain but that while they were there he could snake out the tub that didn't appear to their plumber to be draining slow at no additional cost...i took them up on that offer because if I am getting charged anyway I might as well have them snake the tub.

I appreciated the offer to at least provide a positive outcome for their services with the the tub, who knows maybe the slow draining would did improve, I don't know, I didn't notice any difference but as a result i am increasing my original one star review to a two star. The main thing here is the primary reason for the service request was to clear the sink which was not achieved. When another plumber was put to the task from another company, the sink was unclogged within a half hour of his arrival.

Note: After seeing this review Joyce plumbing did call me to discuss the situation and wanted me to reconsider the one star review. In the end I did decide to up it to 2 but I definitely think of it as a solid 1.5. His reasoning was that services were still provided with the tub and that perhaps the second plumber was not concerned about potential destruction of the pipes between the sink and the main and possibly risked damaging them in in whatever method they used to declog it. To me, the bottom line in this the simple truth that:

I called Joyce to unclog a sink and they were not able to perform that task.
I called another plumber and they took care of it with no issues.
As a result I had to pay two plumbers to fix one problem that only the other plumbing company fixed.

Joyce gets good reviews in on yelp and that is generally how I select contractors and have had great success in the past. A low review like this is no doubt  is a rare occurrence for this company and I honestly wish I never felt the need to write it because then I would have had my plumbing problem fixed without having to call another plumber and i would have a plumbing service that I felt confident in for any future problems.

I had a backed up kitchen sink that I couldn't get to clear. I found Go Plumbing and More in the Next Door App. I called at 9am to see if they could fit me in today, and they sent Christisn over within the hour. Fantastic work! Christian was very professional and explained things well, and left no trave of mess behind.  COVID protocols were followed, including a paperless transaction. The price was less than half that of what plumbers I had contacted on Yelp quoted me! Highly recommend this company. Will use again when plumbing services or installation is needed!!

I called the company last week for a propane leak. Carl came out the next day. He worked with me to locate the pipe and detected the leak, capped the pipe and problem solved. Reasonable charge and could not have been nicer.

I can't praise Steve and his crew enough.  They recently completed our front yard.  Steve was very professional and listened to all of our ideas.  We ended up with exactly what we wanted and they were very efficient!  I wish we had more projects for them, that's how good things went!

Sergio and George did a fantastic job!  They showed up on time, did all the work that I requested and cleaned up.  Thanks again!

Wow. I don't remember the last time a called a plumber and didn't bang my head on the door after closing it.  Bob is awesome.

Backstory:  I first got a reference from my sister for her plumber. When he heard that I lived in a high rise downtown he was relatively snarky about it.  As he was hemming and hawing about what a pain in his butt it is to park in my neighborhood (YAWN! yes, that was his reason for passing up the job), I remembered he had also passed on a previous job because he didn't like the make of my refrigerator.  I'll make sure to consider him the next time I'm appliance shopping.  

So I Yelp'd a new plumber and thought the reviews of Bob sounded great.  He returned my call- on a HOLIDAY evening, no less. And he made himself immediately available the next morning.

My sink, which had ruined my weekend, was fixed a mere $75 later.   He also fixed the hot water on my kitchen sink, which I hadn't noticed was a problem.  For $75 total. That's right, folks, DOUBLE DIGITS.  

As I handed him the check I knew I'd go running to my computer to spread the word, and here I am.  I know, I can't believe I'm so excited either.  

Friendly, fast, responsive, economical.  This guy is awesome.

Tarpy is absolutely amazing!  All their people are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.  We had all our AC ducting replaced, and their work is impeccable.  Nicholas, Manny, and Dawson were awesome!  We loved them so much that we had them put in a new water heater and service all our plumbing as well.  Anthony, Brandon, Adam, Chris, and Paul were phenomenal!   There was a lot of work to be done, but they were able to complete it in 1 day--there were 5 trucks in front of our house!  We've worked with a lot of AC and plumbing companies over the years, and without question Tarpy is the best.  It is hard to find a company that has top notch employees and excellent customer service.  The rest of the world should learn from Tarpy.  Thanks so much!

This company is true to its name. They saved me a ton of time and headache! If I ever have future issues, I won't hesitate to call them.

He showed up for the appointments exactly when he said he would, provided estimates and completed the chimney cover job diligently without any cost overruns.
He took the time to do some extra precautionary work with the old wooden frame removal that showed damage.
I would absolutely call him first if there is a need for any other work in future.

Robert and his team were very responsive and prompt. A leak was discovered in our bathroom and the Pro's handled it the same day. They were very professional and all repairs were completed within just a few hours. I wouldn't use anyone else for my plumbing needs.

I am very happy with both the electrical and plumbing services I have received so far from Point Loma, specifically from Jimmy Fogg. He is extremely knowledgeable, trustworthy, and really worked with me on prioritizing what needed to be done to fix our electrical issues in our old house. The plumber who we have worked with were also great and were able to identify issues on the horizon as well as fixing what we needed. We were planning on installing a new sink ourselves and the plumber identified a couple of issues to take care of first that would have become a real problem for us once we started! The plumbers were also honest and willing to explain what repairs we could do ourselves in order to stay on budget. Highly appreciated. Point Loma is very communicative and and their personnel is very pleasent to engage with. As others have noted, they are not always the cheapest compared to other bids but if you use them, you WILL get the work done right and with a guarantee. Thank you Point Loma Electric and Plumbing!

My kitchen sink was leaking and needed to be replaced.  Called Bill for a price estimate which was reasonable. As soon as I got a replacement faucet, he was able to come over the next day.
Bill was on time for his appointment, even a few minutes early.   He was nice, professional and I didn't get the feeling he was trying to up charge me.
The faucet was replaced in under 30 minutes.p
I would definitely use again for any plumbing needs.

Oh and if you have a Moen faucet, Bill told me that they come with a lifetime guaranty. You can call their warranty dept to get a replacement one for free! Had I known this prior I would have saved some extra cash.

I found C & C Plumbing by researching Yelp for plumbers and I was impressed by the volumes of  GREAT reviews that C & C received.  You could tell the reviews were honest... and not posted by made up customers...if you know what I mean.  I phoned after hours and reached Cameron the owner.  He spent a lot of time with me on the phone discussing my issues.  The next day Gary came out--- on time--- and did a great job.  His associate Chris joined him later with another piece of equipment. Wow...what a team!  Wow...what a company. Wow...what workmanship.  Wow...what fair prices for top notch work.  Can't wait to refer you guys to my friends and neighbors. Thanks again!

I called DyLon and made an appointment on Tuesday 12/22/20 at 10am. They called at 9:10am on Tuesday and were at my home at 9:20am as promised. In only 3 minutes they removed our 150 pound sofa bed and loaded in their truck. Andy and DaLorean were fun and professional. Call these guys if you need some junk removal.

I had a leek in my shower drain upstairs to downstairs bathroom, Anderson is very courteous & nice on the phone & in person. They gave me a 5 hour window of time for the appointment not a specific time & called 45 min ahead to let me know when they arrive. They found the leek & charge $400. Then to fix it another $1500.
They fixed the leek, but did not patch the big hole they cut into the drywall. They recommend someone else to do that. Overall very high price & could not complete the job. But the leek is fixed & warranty for 2 years.

Clogged drain was resolved on a Sunday without exorbitant weekend fees. The technician was efficient and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. I will definitely use this service again.
