Years ago I had an opportunity to work as an assistant to a plumber in a large company. Back in 1988 I decided to go to trade school. Best thing I ever did. When I finished and got my contractors license, I decided to open up Hotline Plumbing instead of working for someone else. It started out slow, but I'm so glad I stuck it out. I have made so many friends along the way, and had the opportunity to really help people. Who can ask for more?!

Just got done with Mauritio at Hotline, and honestly, that was one of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with a contractor or repair person!
Mauritio showed up right near the beginning of the time window I was given (first thing the next day), and was professional, efficient, and friendly. He was upfront about the cost, which was competitive and reasonable. He managed to fix the issue (a clogged toilet) quickly, and the price was exactly what he said it would be, no hidden fees or anything. Overall a good experience, and filing away Hotline/Mauritio's information for next time we need plumbing help!

I've had to call Hotline for clogs, leaky shower heads and most recently, to replace a kitchen disposal.
The crews are always friendly and knowledgeable, they call before showing up and leave the work site tidy.
I believe they are always upfront and fair about pricing. Call Hotline.
This is the only plumbing company I will use. They are honest, quick to respond and very reasonably priced. Giovanni and his crew are true professionals.
Very good and reliable company to work with, highly recommend would use them again; friendly service, competitive prices; Ben was very nice to work with.
Third time using Giovanni at Hotline. Quick to respond and schedule job and showed up 15 minutes early. Installed wall mount holder and hand shower to existing shower arm head. Cleared stoppage in lavatory. All done in an hour and clean as could be.
This is my second time using Hotline Plumbing and both experiences have been great! They're very fair with their pricing and show up at the time they say they will. Today I had Mauricio and William come to unclog the bathtub and they were super friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

Excellent service, Clean, Professional and Easy to work with.
Set up an appointment they arrived during the time window they provided, calling 20 minutes from arriving to let me know they were on their way.
Installed Kitchen faucet & new (water) supply lines , cleaned up everything after finishing the job - extremely efficient.
I liked how they wore booties over their shoes to keep our carpets clean - also very polite.

In my attempt to replace my ice-maker line valve, I made the problem worse! After reading their positive Yelp reviews, I called Giovanni and he and his team member were here within a couple of hours. The problem was straight forward and they had it fixed so fast! They were polite, professional and charged me such a fair price, that was within my budget, that I also wanted to share my positive experience and thank them for a great job! If you're ever in need of a reliable plumber, these are your guys!
My kitchen sink became clogged recently and Hotline said they could check it out the next day! Plus, the next day was a Saturday--unbelievable! I don't know that they can always respond that quickly but it was impressive. They kept me updated on arrival time and were able to complete the job within an extremely reasonable time frame at an extremely reasonable price.
Originally, the sink clogged a few months ago and the plumber from my home warranty company said he couldn't completely clear the clog--something about access points--and that next time it'd be a bigger job and be very expensive (not covered by the warranty). So either he didn't know what he was talking about or he was trying to drum up business for his company.
Anyway, Hotline will now be my first and only choice. They're honest, punctual, efficient and Giovanni is super nice.
We had a major water pipe leak under our home that went undetected for weeks. Once we found out, I called hotline plumbing as they have always been reliable. Geovanni, Ben and Gerardo came by to inspect and worked with a leak detector to locate the source of the leak. They had to break walls in multiple rooms to find the many manifolds in our unconventional home to bypass the underground leak. It was a complicated job with lots of puzzle finding within walls. Geovanni, Ben and Gerardo were total professionals and completed the job with no complaints and honored the original estimate even though the project turned into a much bigger situation because of the complex piping in our home. I can honestly say we were in good hands with Hotline plumbing. I will be calling them with any future issues. Highly recommended.

We had been experiencing issues with our laundry room drain and after all the DIY options failed to fix the issue we called Hotline Plumbing. I spoke with Giovanni and explained the issue and within a few hours he arrived at my home. He was friendly and took the time to listen to what I had already done to triage the issue and rather than performing a more expensive hydro jetting procedure he tried using a drain snake which proved to be all that was needed. I will definitely be referring friends and family and hotline will now be in my mental toolbox next time I need a plumber

Fantastic experience with Hotline. Our shower stopped working and we called Extreme Plumbing. They said the valve needed to be replaced and they'd have to open up the wall. They quoted us $1,800 for the job and charged $180 just to look at it. Thankfully I got a bad vibe from them and called Hotline for a second opinion.
Mauricio did some troubleshooting and realized the issue was with the diverter, which had some buildup in it. He cleaned it out and replaced the cartridge which was looking worn and charged $250 for whole thing. Shower works great! I'll be using Hotline as my go-to plumbers from now on.
Whenever someone asks if I would recommend a plumber or a plumbing service, I usually answer with Hotline Plumbing. When hiring this type of service, I generally consider two factors : Honesty and reliability. Hotline Plumbing has both. I have used their services on Various projects in my home and they are my go-to plumbing company. People want good plumbing with honestly pricing, this is the company to go with. I can honestly say, as a personal preference Based on past experiences, that I hope the only company I ever use for plumbing services is Hotline plumbing.
I cannot express how grateful I am to the crew at hotline plumbing. Ben and Gerardo are absolutely amazing! They are punctual, professional and extremely knowledgeable. We purchased an old house this last year with endless problems and anytime I need something, they come quickly with all the answers and solutions! The only thing hot about hotline plumbing is their price and their lies. A company without honor or integrity.
I'm docking stars for the following:
1. Misleading- Quoted me a blind, over-the-phone price of $250 to a maximum $960 at my request for a pipe repair and the next day raised the price to $1500-$1800.
2. Overcharging - Ended up charging me $1800 when their worst case scenario price was not to exceed $960.
3. Unprepared- Told them to be prepared to finish the work at the newly quoted $1500-$1800 price after they expose the faulty pipe and they agreed. Once they located the faulty pipe and exposed it (demolitioned it), made me wait another day to finish repairs because they didn't have their tools with them.
4. Disrespectful - The repair guys spoke exclusively in Spanish in front of me thinking I didn't understand. They made it clear (of course in Spanish) that no matter what, they were going to replace two pipes. This was a logical continuation of their plan to nickel and dime me because the final price was $1800.
5. Without Honor - At the conclusion of their work, I asked if they would give me a military discount as advertised and they let me know that they wouldn't because they already gave me a discounted price at a whopping $1800. They also mentioned that they gave me free cement, when cementing a job site was an agreed upon item. They misuse their veteran discount as a ploy to benefit off of veterans who fought for their freedom.

If you're looking for great customer service, excellent work for your plumbing needs, and strong communication, choose Hotline Plumbing! After sending out quote requests, I chose this company when speaking with Giovanni on Yelp and over the phone. He was kind, answered all my questions and gave me multiple options when they could stop by around my schedule. And, they offered numerous payment options as well to make it easy. I had an easy job request but understood I would need to spend money for their time and Giovanni explained they would be fair.
Once we landed on a day to have the work done, which was basically installing a shower caddy and then removing the old one, he communicated with me the day of. And, Mauricio called ahead of time before arriving to do the job. He also put on covers for his shoes before I could even ask, which was great. He was kind, professional and helpful the entire time. Once he did the work, which took under 15 minutes, he told me it was so simple there wouldn't be a charge. He didn't have to do that at all because he did a great job and I of course was willing to pay the estimate. Really appreciate the fairness and great work here. The thing that also really impressed me was the strong communication from all three people: Mauricio, William, and Giovanni. Can't recommend them enough!
Ben came to our home to help us with a clogged toilet and possible broken sewer line. He was polite, trustworthy, honest and worked really hard for us! He was at our house for 3 hours troubleshooting the problem we had. We had a plumber from a different company come the day prior who we were not satisfied with. Ben was able to fix our problem. Mauricio came and rescued my hot water situation! He quickly saw that the shower cartridges needed to be replaced. He saved me almost $200 by showing me how to get replacements through warranty even though it's been 6+ years since they were originally installed. New update as of March 2023! A previous plumber did shoddy work 2 years ago which led to more leaking under my sink. I called Hotline, since I had a great experience before, and Mauricio and William came and fixed the issue with MUCH better quality parts. On top of that they were incredibly friendly and able to answer any and all questions I had. I've now had multiple five star experiences with Hotline, and they are my first call for any plumbing issues! Thank you!!

Mauricio came out to troubleshoot a clogged drain and running toilet issue, and as always took care of the problem quickly. He and everyone else at Hotline are very helpful and professional. This team truly lived up to the hype! My water heater went out and Mauricio and team were at my home within two hours. What I'm impressed with most is their attention to detail and presence to NOT take advantage of you when you're in a bind. This is my second use of Hot Line. Ben and his helper were on time, and super courteous, and Ben explained clearly what was going on with my clogged kitchen line. They could clear the line enough for another call in 2 days, which resulted in a hydro jet cleaning, They did not require any payment for the 1st call and the cost of $350.00 included everything! Oh, they also went up on the roof to clear the air vent! They are so fair and honest.

Hotline is still the undefeated champion when it comes to plumbers I can trust. Called them out last week to look at my disposal, which had stopped working the night before. Geovanni arrived on time, figured out how to get the disposal started within a few minutes, and didn't even charge me. Service like that is why when big stuff happens, I trust them enough just to call them without trying anyone else. I saw the one-star review on this page and cannot fathom their experience happening as they describe it. We have two water heaters (don't ask), one went out on Friday evening. We've been in the house for 7 years, so we decided to mind as well change both water heaters. I called Hotline on Saturday morning and got an appointment for a quote scheduled for Monday.
Mauricio from Hotline Plumbing ended up coming over like 1 hour after I called on Saturday instead of Monday.
Mauricio quote me on the spot for each water heater, $1650-$1700 each.
I did get quotes from others: Lowes with labor ($2k each), Make it Drain ($1800+ each), American Plumbing Professionals ($1725 each), Rockstar Plumbing ($2400 each), Plumbing works ($1650 each).
Mauricio was super knowledgeable and easy going, the attitude of someone who I felt has been doing this for years. No upsells, no bs, more of this is what it is, I can do it no problem.
I shook hands with Mauricio and he came back on Monday, replaced both water heaters in a total of 2 hours with his partner. He brought up the water heater to code by installing a leak pan underneath, a sediment filter for gas, and installing an expansion tank, all for the agreed upon price. No surprises. Everything works as required.
Overall: Mauricio was awesome, super knowledgeable, gave me an honest price and did honest work when he said he would.
I would work with Hotline and Mauricio again.

These gentlemen replaced my water heater and they did such a wonderful job I called them a year later to replace my toilet. Thank god for Hotline Plumbing. We had been having hot and cold water issues in every water spout in our house and finally sucked it up and called these guys. Mauricio and William were cool, honest, and talked us through all of the funky issues our house flippers had initially laid into our plumbing system. It's been a long time since I had a plumber I feel I can trust, but now I do.
Hotline did complete testing to verify the source of a leak and quickly executed a complete repair.
Work was performed around my schedule. All elements of the repair were communicated clearly and demonstrated mastery of the profession. Cost for repair was along initial estimate and more than reasonable given expertise with which it was executed. While there was additional work required, this was fully explained and only minimally charged, covering unanticipated sink parts, which crumbled during the primary repair. This actually saved me from a later leak when the sink p-trap would have failed.
Beyond the repair to the drain, referral for small wall patch work was provided and separately arranged with ease.
Had a running toilet that had been wasting water for months. Contacted Hotline and had someone out here within an hour or so. They assessed the problem and fixed it on the spot. Knowledgable and friendly. So glad I gave them a call and will call them again in the future.
Talk about honest! It is a rarity these days. After our scheduled plumber was a no call no show I went to yelp to find a new one. I believe that everything happens for a reason. Our no call no show plumber was a blessing in disguise because it led me to call Hotline Plumbing and talk to Geovanni who instead of trying to sell me on needing to replace my garbage disposal walked me on how to troubleshoot it first. In seconds I was able to fix our issue. My husband and I were blown away at the step by step instructions. He even told me that that is just what they do for their clients. They definitely have the secret on how to retain clients. And how to spread the word. I will be using and recommending all of my plumbing needs to them from here on out.
Btw our last two plumbers we used both told us that we need to replace our 1 year old insinkerator garbage disposal because it wouldn't be worth fixing because they break down easily. It is unbelievable how they will try to sell you on the worst case scenario before trying to help you.
Mauricio and William just finished a kitchen faucet install at my home. I'm very impressed with their workmanship and would recommend this company for similar plumbing services. They call ahead to let you know when they'll arrive and they arrive on time. It was the same way when Mauricio came out to provide an estimate for the job. Called them - they walked me through a quick inspection and I found the problem. No charge - no hassle - good help.
I had a clogged kitchen sink. Made the mistake of calling another plumber (one with hundreds of five star reviews on Yelp) and they couldn't open the clean out. Their proposed solution was to make an entirely new clean out ($1400) and hydro jet ($400). Glad I got a second opinion. Mauricio and William came the next day, Mauricio did quick work of the original clean out, snaked the line, and closed the clean out all for a decent price. This is my third time using Hotline's services and they've been honest, practical, and reasonable.
Considering the number of reviews, I would have expected him to be unnecessarily expensive. The price was right the service was excellent. I highly recommend this company
These guys were originally referred to us by a neighbor for a sewer line blockage. Since then, they have handled every plumbing issue we've encountered.
They are professional, personable, and most importantly, completely transparent. Every. Single. Time.
Most recently, our main water line burst underground in our front yard. This was obviously extremely stressful. We called Hotline plumbing and they came out to assess the same day, and scheduled the massive job of replacing our old corroded galvanized steel pipes with copper pipes. They came back two days later and did the entire job in one day, for much cheaper than any internet estimate suggested I would need to pay. They helped me keep the cost low by suggesting different options for how to run the line. They were compassionate, hard working, and got the job done flawlessly. They eased the anxiety of the situation immensely.
I cannot recommend this company enough. If you are in the SF valley, do yourself a favor and call these guys for your next plumbing job.

Recently needed our refrigerator water line valve adjusted and Mauricio and Willam took care of the issue in no time. Always professional, Covid rule following and pleasant info sharing plumbers. Add them to your phone contact list.
Working with Hotline Plumbing was a great experience. They communicated well about arrival time and got the problem taken care of quickly. A different plumber had quoted us $750. Hotline charged us $85. I'll be calling them again next time!
Red Tag plumber, hope I wish to rate below 0. I called him for sewer lateral video inspection and he came with an old machine and put a camera 8-9 feet and said it doesn't go inside. After paying the fee he was supposed to email me the report, I called him 4-5 times but never received the report until week. Never give him a job, you will waste your time and money.
Easy to reach by phone. Responsive, called prior to showing up, showed up on time. Ben and Gerardo were great -- efficient, polite, fixed the problem. Will definitely use them again.

I'm extremely Happy with the service rendered by Mauricio and William. Mauricio explained everything in detail and gave me options for repairs. My wife and I had to replace the water heater that came with the house we purchased.

I had been having problems with a backed up bathtub and leaking sink. Within 30 minutes of requesting a quote they came out to check and fix the issues. They also gave me tips for saving money on new faucets. The work was done really well. Would definitely hire again.

Have an American Standard Champion 4 two piece toilet. These toilets are good for the most part but have an issue with ghost flushing most of the time due to the valve seal developing bubbles. An easy enough thing to replace on your own by buying a valve seal for under $8. Something I've done myself at least two other times. Well this time, the rod inside the Flush Valve just fell into the toilet. And I didn't want to attempt to fix it since that means having to take the tank off the toilet and I didn't want to take chances of accidentally cracking the actual toilet. My regular plumbing option no longer handles small jobs like this and only do mostly drain work onto Yelp I went.
Found Hotline Plumbing. I couldn't believe how many reviews they had and that they had a 5 star rating. Well after having dealt with them I now know those review are legit!
Geovanni was super responsive and would call ahead of time to let me know when his guys were on their way etc.
The guys that came out to work on my toilet were Ben and Fernando. They were both great! When they first came out and attempted to fix the toilet, the tank bolts wouldn't budge (the toilet is over 10 years old). Ben informed me that the cost to fix the toilet is the same amount they charge to replace a toilet. He said he would spray some chemicals on the bolts and come back the next day to see if they can get it off. The next day, they came back and no dice. So, I opted to get a new toilet installed instead.
Bought a new toilet they picked it up for me and installed it. That night there was a very minor leak coming from one of the toilet bolts.
Ben and Fernando came back to inspect the issue and it seems like the issue is with the new toilet gasket.
The next day, they came back to pick up the tank part of the toilet went and exchanged it, re-installed the tank. And the toilet has been working well since. No leaks for the last two days. They didn't charge me for any of this extra labor. Ben and Fernando went above and beyond.
I'll definitely be calling on Hotline plumbing again for future plumbing needs.
Geovanni is da man! He was very professional and reliable. Great service great price I don't write reviews but this was worth it! These guys are my new plumbers period!

These guys are the best! I run an art studio for children so a functioning bathroom is very important. Our plumbing has had continued issues and Hotline always does their best to come out as quickly as possible and to also provide us with reasonable quotes and long-term solutions. Every person I've interacted with at Hotline has been friendly and extremely helpful. They go above and beyond to make sure everything is working as it should be and that the process is as smooth as possible. They also leave the space leaving it super clean! They are considerate and respectful.
Great honest plumber. They replaced my hot water heater with a tankless and several years later also repaired the rusted out sewer lines in my crawler space. On both jobs they had a fair price, we're very professional and left the place clean when they were done. Highly recommend.
This company is fantastic! Giovanni just left my home . He fixed my backed up toilet, bathtub, water flow in sink as well. He explained everything so clearly to me . I had plummers come from a home warranty company earlier provided by the previous owner here. ( Most realtors do this for new homeowners)

We had problems with our water heater so we called Hotline and we were connected with Mauricio. Mauricio and William showed up and they were very friendly and professional. A few months ago I contacted Hotline for two jobs: a water heater replacement/installation and a loose shower faucet.
I was impressed with Hotline's timeliness and service. Ben and Fernando were simply excellent; they offered to repair the loose shower faucet on-the-spot quickly and for a fair price. While the price range I was given for a water heater installation was not the cheapest on the market - the biggest reason why I did not go with them for the installation - I would feel confident calling them again for any plumbing-related jobs. If quality is your key consideration, look no further!
I rarely rate handymen's work. With Hotline Plumbing & Mauricio I couldn't ignore, their very honest & professional service. I truly believe they are one of the best in the Valley , that I called their services 4 times on different troubles in the plumbing .

Spoke to Geovanni on Monday about a problem with my filtration system and new Fridge not getting water or ice.
Wednesday Mauricio and Luis cam to check to problem and give a quote.
Firstly they were punctual, they were extremely friendly and professional, they were clean and tidied up as they worked as well as careful.

I need to be better at writing a review each time this company comes to my house. It feels really good to feel like you found a dependable company that you can keep reusing as your go to. Last night our kitchen sink clogged up and it's kind of a nightmare when you have so many dishes with a toddler.
First thing this morning, I called Gio and he was able to send someone out between the hours of two and four. I got a phone call before two and then a couple of follow ups so I knew they were on their way.
Shout out to Mauricio and Luis who were very friendly and professional. I love how this company also wears the little booties inside our house! I want mention that this is my second house I've owned and I've always used this company. While my toddler was napping, they were able to unclog the drain which I think was filled with dried oil. They provided me clear explanations, ways to prevent it, and offered a deal on the price.
I can't recommend this company enough and you won't be disappointed!
Called Hotline after getting the runaround by several other plumbers. Their crew came when promised and quickly solved the problem. The best part is that they only charged about one-third of what other plumbers were quoting just to come look at the problem! I would definitely use these guys again.

We've had really bad experiences with plumbers but I couldn't be happier with Mauricio and Luis' work.
Without getting too technical - Mauricio and Luis took on a complicated challenge that other plumbers weren't knowledgeable enough to tackle in the past or just shrugged and walked away from.
These guys made it their personal mission to tackle our problem (this is a passion for them), go away and problem solve and then only charge us when they were able to fix our shower - which they did. And fixed our garbage disposal for free on their way out!!
The price was really reasonable for the hours they put in and literally they would be our first port of call should we have any other problems in the future.
I SO wish we'd found these guys earlier. If you find an honest company who takes pride in their work, don't let 'Em go!
2nd time I've called on Hotline Plumbing & Rooter and they again did NOT disappoint. This time it was for a clogged washer drain. Ben called when he was on the way, arrived and went above and beyond to unclog the drain. He even installed new water inlet hoses I bought as one hose was starting to bubble. Ben at Hot Line Plumbing is the man! We needed two new toilets installed and Ben was nothing short of spectacular! He did flawless work on the installs. In addition, he tested the line for our master bathroom toilet and saw that there was a leak, because of faulty equipment provided in the box the toilet came in. He was able to fix the situation using what he had with him and everything came out perfect! He also helped clean out the drain for our dishwasher. Have had long term issues with the sewer line going out to the street (roots getting in and backing up). Originally called Hot Line for roto service when the sewer access backed up again (based on their Yelp reviews). They were able to come out the very next day! Mauricio and William cleared the line quickly, but after using a camera, they wanted to fix the issue for good by replacing a section of the pipe and the 2 corresponding joints. They quoted a very reasonable price so I decided to move forward.
The day of the pipe replacement, they estimated 3-4 hrs of work but did it in less than 2 hrs, so they discounted the final total accordingly. The water was only off for about 45 min! I cannot recommend Hot Line and especially Mauricio and William more. They are everything you want in a plumbing service -- responsive, quick, knowledgeable, honest, friendly, and offer reasonably priced, quality service!!!

Hotline has become our go-to plumber. They're honest, transparent, work very hard, and do a fantastic job cleaning up after themselves. I really didn't think I'd ever say so many good things about my plumbers, but seriously, you won't regret going with them.
I don't usually rush to write a review for a company i have hired to do some work for me, but I felt compelled to do so today. Mauricio showed up perfectly on time, giving me a 2 to 4:00 p.m. window and arriving at 2:00 p.m., and calling beforehand to check if I was home. This is rare when it comes to plumbers or electricians or anybody else who works at your house. He diagnosed the problem quickly regarding our leaking shower, saw that it was a relatively easy job so only charged me the service fee, and at the end even threw in a little discount which was very appreciated. The guys were in and out and under 50 minutes, and were very pleasant, and professional. I think I found my plumber for all my future needs.

Once again, Hot Line to the rescue. Had a shower drain that was backed up. They showed up on time. Both gentlemen where clean, friendly, and professional. The drain was cleared in a few minutes. I've used Hot Line twice now and both times have been wonderful. I won't hesitate to call again if the need arises.

I called these guys in the morning because my kitchen sink was clogged. They were able to come by within a couple hours and fixed it. They were very professional, kept the workspace clean and helpful in answering questions I had about other plumbing issues in my house. They did say they would get back to me regarding a quote to move a water heater into my garage and I never heard back from them, but overall I was very pleased and would call them again.
It was Saturday and our shower drained slowly and I knew something was off. We're new to the neighborhood so I had to call around for a plumber and no one was available until Tuesday. Giovanni responded immediately and had an opening that same afternoon. He saved the day. He showed us that there wasn't a problem and he could have charged us for the work. Yelp showed me this old response I started and never posted. Better late than never...
Being an honorable and kind person who tries my best, Jed's false portrayal of what happened actually hurt quite a bit. I'm not a psychologist but I imagine the lying on top of the indifference to our situation, must be a sign of great pain he carries deep within. I don't know who caused him his pain, but I do feel compassion for whatever in him could cause him to respond the way he did.
To be absolutely 100% perfectly clear, there was no second water line break that happened while we were on vacation. My actual water damage repair ended up being very small compared to Xacts estimate. So I absorbed the repairs for peace of mind. Jed also got to keep his refund as I didn't cash it before it got stale dated and he wouldn't reissure it.
Only these 3 following comments were accurate in what Jed wrote:
When you came back from your vacation you called us saying there's water damage in the ceiling. - TRUE
Xact restoration Co. came out and dried out around your refrigerator and took pictures of the water damage - TRUE (Sergio of Hotline brought them and they identified what Sergio didn't.)
We went to check your pressure regulator to your house and you didn't have one. We recommended you get one, and you said no, you didn't need one.... - TRUE! (I checked with Topanga Underground who put in our water main and they were amused that Hotline tried to sell us a regulator because our incoming water pressure is 40 psi due to our high elevation in relation to the water district's tank. Topanga said that regulators bring water pressure down to 50 psi, so no need for one when our pressure is 40.)
Other than these 3 statements everything else Jed wrote was fiction.
Jed wrote, The only reason I refunded the money for the wax seal is because you were screaming and yelling, it just wasn't worth it. Nope.
I wrote this to support anyone who may have also experienced Jed attacking them, and trying to discredit them for simply stating what actually happened.
With as much heart and compassion, I wish Jed and all hurting souls peace and love.

Mauricio and Luis came by and inspected my leaking garden faucet in the back patio. I had requested an installation, but being that this house is over 40 years old, the faucet and piping were soldered shut. Mauricio recommended cutting the pipe reinstall in a way that I can fix myself in the future. I agreed and he and Luis finished the job within 20mins. The leak is gone and everything was installed perfectly.
I will 1000% be calling them again to address all future plumbing issues at my house. Highly recommend. They were very fair and honest.

I don't think I have ever used a nicer and more professional plumbing company. The first thing I was impressed with was that a person answered the phone, I was not met by the usual voicemail. As soon as the guys who would come out were in a zone where they could receive cell phone calls, the man who answered the phone called me back and told me they would be out in about 15 or 20 minutes. Then the plumbers, Mauricio and William, called me within 2 minutes to tell me the same thing. They were here within 15 minutes to rooter out my main line.
The price was completely reasonable. I had expected to pay much more. They got rid of the clogs within 5 minutes. Then they rootered and pulled out a bunch of tree roots. After that, I asked about replacing the pipes, which I knew would eventually need to be done. He said that since they just cleaned everything out I should wait until there was a new problem and that there was no need to do the work yet. Wow! No upsell.
I asked Mauricio if he could take a look at a problem with my toilet. He didn't need to take it apart. All he needed was to adjust a screw. He showed me how to adjust it if I should need to do it in the future. He didn't even charge me for that. They were really nice. Mauricio even wanted to pet my dog.
I highly recommend Hotline Plumbing and Rooter. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would.

These guys are absolutely wonderful! Mauricio and William did a fantastic job. Had no hot water, called them and they responded very quickly calling back and came to fix it within two hours. They also did another repair while they were here. Fixed the hot water problem and installed a brand-new kitchen faucet. They did an incredible job and left everything in perfect condition. Hotline plumbing is definitely our go to plumber.
I've used these guys for 2 separate emergency jobs over the last few months.
Very trustworthy, polite, reasonably priced and worked hard and quickly to diagnose and fix the problem. They did not do any shady switch and bait like some other plumbing companies have done to me.

I can't say enough these guys really do deserve 5 stars!!!. Ben and Fernando did some work in our shower to eliminate a faucet leak and they took care of it! I just want to express how thankful I am that these two were very nice and honest with my parents of what needed to be done. My toilet was overflowing on a Friday night at 11pm. Messaged this company and was pleased that they quickly responded. We agreed that they would come check it out the following morning. Unfortunately they never showed. No call. No message. Nothing! Absolutely unprofessional. Wasted my time waiting around when I could've had someone else take a look.

Sent out a request to 6 different plumbers and Giovanni was the first to respond...on a saturday! Went with Hotline because of the great reviews and immediate availability. They didn't disappoint! Mauricio and William came out on Tues on time. My shower was just putting out hot water. Mauricio said the cartridge needed to be changed and gave me a reasonable estimate. $125+part. After further evaluating, he found out that it just needed to be cleaned out/alot of debris buildup. So he cleaned it and now it works. Only charged me the service fee $125! We had a problem with our dishwasher pooling water at the bottom whenever we use our garbage disposer. I called Hotline to ask them about the issue and they said they would come to give a free estimate. Ben came over and fixed the issue without having to install an air gap. Apparently my contractor's workers connected the garbage disposer & dishwasher incorrectly. They were going to install an air gap that wouldn't look good aesthetically for our newly remodeled kitchen. Ben was very courteous & professional and explained the problem. Rarely have I ever met with a service provider that refuses to submit WRITTEN quotes. I was told that IF they do write one, it's going to cost $. My immediate reaction wasn't to get angry. Rather, I just told them matter-of-factly, NO WRITTEN BID - NO JOB!
I asked why they weren't taking any pictures? Their response was I keep it all in my head.

Follow-up: I received a call from these folks about 5-min's after posting this comment. Geovanni re-iterated all the I only give verbal quotes just like their tech's said.
I wasn't having any part of that. He wouldn't listen to anything I had to say, constantly talking over me about how great having the opportunity for a free quote was. Really? So I said, Hey, if you don't want to listen to me, then I'm going to hang up...and a couple of seconds later, I did. This outfit is NOT run professionally. I can only imagine their BBB record...I never got that far. Like I said earlier: I think I dodged a bullet!
This was our second using Hotline Plumbing after they fixed our leaking toilet a while ago. Just like last time, our current issue was due to the subpar work of another plumber. The pipe to our water expansion tank was leaking and as it turned out it was due to the wrong type of pipes being used when our water heater got installed just two years ago, which had corroded and causes the leak. Mauricio and Luis came out quickly, were super friendly and professional, and advised us of a couple of options. Fixed our pipes and installed a new expansion tank very quickly and for a fair price.
Highly recommend Hotline Plumbing. We will only use them going forward.

Hot water heater stopped working, so I contacted Hotline; they responded within 10 minutes and said they'd be out between 10 and 12 the next day. Geovanni called the next day to say he'd be arriving shortly and arrived promptly at 10. Turns out the igniter on the gas control valve stopped working, so Geovanni removed the inspection window and relit the pilot light. Spent almost 30 minutes at my home and didn't charge me a thing! Nicest guy too. When this old water heater gives out in a year or so, I'm definitely calling Hotline and Geovanni to install the new one!
We have hired hotline plumbing many times. They always do a good job and fairly priced. Today they serviced our bathroom sinks and got rid of the nasty odor that we were struggling with. They suggested good money saving tips for future issues. Recommend Mauricio and William team.

We had a clog in our toilet recently and I was scrambling to find a plumber after my attempts with the plunger and toilet snake failed. I called the first company and they called me 2 hours after they were supposed to show up to let me know that they could not make it. The 2nd company came out but without really doing anything, quoted me a price that was pretty high. I was frustrated and looked some more and found my review of Hotline over 4 years ago and called Hotline and they were very nice and came out. Ben was very professional and you can tell from talking to him that is a really nice guy. He tried to snake it himself but realized that he had to remove the toilet and go in deeper. After 40 minutes, the problem was resolved and he made sure to check during and after to make sure that it was fully cleaned out. It was my bad for not keeping their name on my phone (as I said I would on my first review) and they are in my phone now. The price was very reasonable and I have the absolute confidence that the job was done right. In an industry where some company's take advantage of their customers, I can really say with no doubt that Hotline is a company with good people who does exactly what is expected at a very fair and reasonable price. I needed a professional to come inspect the gas line connection for our new cooktop and to fix a detected gas leak coming from the connection. Mauricio and William from Hotline Plumbing provided excellent service and professional workmanship. They were able to come out to my property the same day I called for help and successfully repaired the gas line connection with the proper valve. They took the time to explain the work needed step-by-step and patiently dealt with some unexpected challenges along the way. Mauricio and William went the extra mile of staying longer to make sure there was absolutely no gas leaking from the connection. Both were super courteous, well-experienced with this type of repair, and cleaned up all the debris from the repair work, even though I insisted I would clean it up. All in all, I am very pleased with the service I received and would definitely recommend Hotline Plumbing to anyone in need of gas line repair service!

Recently we had Hotline replace all our cast iron drain lines as it was beginning to corrode and crack. We called for an estimate on Monday along with two other companies, their quote was the most reasonable. They came on Friday and finished the job in one day. Very professional, knowledgeable, and cleaned the work area thoroughly at the end of the job. We are extremely happy with the quality of their work! Will be calling them for all future plumbing needs.
Hotline Plumbing was able to come out the same day I called to fix a leak in my sewer line. I needed the leak fixed, so I didn't want to call a bunch of plumbers to get quotes. The price seemed reasonable and they were able to get started right away. An hour later and the section of cast iron pipe was cut out and replaced.
I really appreciate that they removed the old pipe scrap; many other plumbers just leave the junk pipe under the house.

Mauricio and William were great. They fixed our two sink leaks and explained what the issues were. They were very informative on how they fixed the issue and what do if any issues should come up with our other sink. Very knowledgeable and quick. I highly recommend!

Ben and Fernando came over and were able to fix our backed up drain. Two other plumbers came out who were unable to and one said we needed to spend $$$ to replace our cast iron pipes. Thank you Ben and Fernando!! Appreciate your being honest and taking care of our issue.
Very quick to respond to my clogged kitchen sink. Mauricio came out and was professional and very nice. He knew exactly how to handle to problem quickly and at a fair price. He was even able to fix my broken toilet in the same trip. I will definitely give them a call again!

I called to make an appointment and they scheduled me for the next day, showed up on time and were very professional and helpful. Mauricio and William were able to diagnose and fix the issue with my shower, which had been leaking and damaging the drywall outside. They had to open up the drywall to fix the problem, but they gave me the number of a great contractor who would be able to repair it. Mauricio and William were quick and efficient, and I highly recommend their services.
We had a clogged drain that connects to the washer. Left them a message in the evening hoping to get a call in the morning but they messaged me back that evening. They came at the agreed time. They did what we needed. Price was reasonable. Will definitely call them again.
