After experiencing kitchen sink blockages and poor flow discharge for about one-month, I ended up seeking plumbing services by way of Yelp. After a sequence of phone calls with various local plumbers, I decided to hire Armando's Plumbing Services, large in part due to the eager and friendly candor I received in my telephonic communication with the staff. They actually were eager to help, while other plumbers make you feel like you're pestering them for dialing their number. Armando arrived within an hour, quoted me a fair price for the hydro-jet service, thoroughly explained the issue, and eagerly provided insight on preventative measures I must take in order to circumvent such plumbing issues in the future.

It's hard to find honest, proficient and friendly service these days. So many plumbers and service men are out to swindle the common day consumer. Armando is precisely the opposite. He wants to provide great service at a fair price so you don't have to deal with the headaches of plumbing matters in the future.

I trust Armando and will seek his plumbing help annually as a measure of preventative protocol so to avoid bigger plumbing issues in the future.

Great customer service and very efficient. My water heater broke within the warranty period so I had to drain and exchange it for a new one at Home Depot. Armando and his brother helped remove the water heater and exchange it for a new one at Home Depot. The whole process took two hours. I would recommend Armando's Plumbing Service for any plumbing job.

Very quick and efficient, easy to work with, and responsive overall. However they are way overpriced for the service provide. Had to replace a stripped out piece in the shower for my tenant and they ran to Home Depot to get and then charged $350 for 20 minutes labor on a $10 part. Good service but I recommend checking a variety of others first before committing to them doing the work.

Just beware that this company is not able to give any idea on pricing for valve replacements. They require an appointment for an estimate and a separate appointment for the replacement. I was simply looking for a range and would have been happy to provide any additional information needed to give a range but they said no. This is for a property I don't live in so this process is very inconvenient. I was able to get a range from other companies so I will be going with one of them.

Armando and his team did a full repipe of my house late last year. It included a new main water service line, water lines in house and drainage pipes. I had a plumbing main line clog on Tuesday morning and it was beyond a plunger and drano. I reached out to Armando's plumbing and Michelle picked up the phone. They happen to be a couple blocks down finishing up another home and within 10 minutes after the call arrived at my residence. After agreeing on service, Armando and his helper jumped on the clog. they removed the toilet, snaked it once, went down with a camera snake after, snaked a second time and finally went down with camera for second time. Upon a successful pipe cleanup, they attached a new wax seal on the toilet and cleaned up after themselves. I would hire again, the professionalism made the experience pleasant.

Honestly if I could give over 5 stars I would. We had a sink that wouldn't shut off and an issue with our bathtub/shower all caused by a plumber who is a family friend. Well, we decided not to call him back to fix it and I came on yelp to find a plumber we could trust. After calling multiple places I stumbled across Armando's Plumbing Service.

I called and Michelle was so nice. She understood my issue and immediately gave me a time that Armando would be out. I was extremely happy about this because water continuously running is expensive and we were stressing out over here. Michelle also called me to let me know when Armando was on his way which was really great customer service, especially since I work from home. It gave me a good heads up on when to expect him.

When Armando got here he fixed our sink issue in like 5 minutes I kid you not. He also explained the issue and checked with us before doing any additional work. He was so nice and clear about the repairs. When he went to our problem bathroom he found the problem in no time and went to get the parts to fix it. When he came back he fixed it so quick and explained everything to us.

My grandma and I know very little about plumbing but Armando explained it to us so we knew what was going on. He fixed everything in a timely manner and was very polite. I hope we never have plumbing issues again but if we do, we're definitely calling Armando. We have his card ready and will definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone we know. I was away from home camping and received a notice from my water company saying there's a leak on our side of the meter and had my water shut off. Armando's Plumbing is well run. And I don't just say this haphazardly. I do my research and make my calls. First, shout out to Armando's clients that gave him stellar reviews on Yelp. Spot on, y'all.

I reached out via Yelp for a quote and Armando hit me back fairly quickly. Yelp sent my request to 3 or 4 plumbers (I forgot to uncheck that box) and Armando was the first to respond. He hit me with an estimate and replied to my follow up question.

We liked his attentiveness/vibe and booked him for the next day. He gave a smaller and more precise arrival window than most, which we appreciated. He rolled up within the beginning of his window. Armando takes safety precautions seriously, as he had his mask on, gloves ready to go, and booties in hand.

Alright, the job was changing out a crappy and defective Glacier Bay (no, we aren't the ones who originally installed this brand) shower/tub cartridge. I called GB and got them to send me the replacement part (free), so Armando just had to install and test the part. If this didn't work, we'd have to replace the whole valve, which is a big job.

Armando got the defective cartridge out and the new one in so damn quickly. He tested it and had me come in to test it too. Perfect. And then, and this is amazing considering I had agreed to his initial estimate, his final bill came out to LESS than expected. Amazing, straight up!

He takes credit cards with a service fee, Zelle, Venmo etc. I chose to do Zelle, super simple and he sent me a confirmation thank you text after. Good customer relations goes a long way -- appreciate you.

Final Words: Highly recommend Armando. It's his company and he shows pride in his business.

She had her husband at my house within an hour and a half to clear my slow draining shower. This is the kind of small business we all need to support. I have been experiencing plumbing issues with my bathroom sink. It's been so frustrating that I finally decided it's time to call in the big guns. I submitted a request a quote and Armando responded in such a timely matter and offered a free quote. We scheduled a next day appointment 10-12. This morning I receive a call from Michelle asking me if it's ok that he was 45 mins away. I thought WOW amazing I get a call and he will be here early. He showed up with a worker wearing a mask and put on booties! By far the most professional and clean. He pulled an insane amount of hair that was clogging my sink. He also mentioned before starting the work how much he would charge to snake the drain and if it didn't work then there would be no charge. I'm so impressed by his professionalism and work ethic. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We had an emergency with one of our water pipelines. We had to shut our water off with 3 kids, that is not good. I had a leaky faucet tube and old angle stop and needed replacing. Michelle, the representative, communicated with me the time Armando will be arriving. Armando is approachable, and will diagnose your problem and give you a competitive price. He gives recommendations on the proper way to fix, as well as option. He also noticed upon fixing my initial problem, I had another leak down the pipe. Being honorable, he let me know and now is no leak. I've had other plumbers that I know 100% wouldn't have let me know of that issue. Now I got a new angle stop/faucet system. Just moved into a new house and after the first bath with the kids both toilets started to flood to the point that we needed to turn off the water to the toilets. Called around for plumbers the following morning, and Armando's was so fast and efficient showed up within the hour of calling. Turned out to have a mainline clog due to roots growing in the pipe. The smell of rotten eggs is awful but very scary when it's your gas pipe leaking. As a result, the Gas Co. had to come out and turn off our gas. From the beginning, the receptionist Michelle, was nice, professional and straight forward. APS offers free estimates and upon arrival, Armando was respectful and truthful. He was able to identify the problem and give me a fair quote. Armando's work was timely and excellent. In order to turn the gas back on, the Gas Co. has to come back out and run tests to ensure the issue is fixed. This is where APS outshined themselves, Armando diligently followed up with me to ensure the gas was turned and without issue. APS definitely is our go to plumber for future jobs.

So glad I found Armando! Our water heater had a bad leak and needed to be replaced, and after calling several places, Armando was the only one who could get it done first thing the next day, and on top of that, offered to beat the lowest quote I had gotten so far. He was really knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions right away.

On top of all that, Armando is just overall a great guy. Friendly, funny, and really cares about the quality of his work. He had to come back a couple of times because there was an issue with the hot water (turns out it was an HVAC issue, not at all related to the work he did), but he figured out the problem at no extra charge and even checked in the next day to make sure everything was working.

Absolutely recommend him for any plumbing needs. Call Armando, you won't regret it!

Needed shower diverter replaced and contacted Armando who was immediately responsive. He was able to come same day but noticed additional water coming from the piping behind the wall. These guys are great. They came in a jiffy last night to check out my shower that isn't getting hot water. The fixture is a cheap single dial knock-off deal that has bad parts. Armando's Plumbing did a great job! We have a rental property in Lawndale, CA and were having issues with the sink leaking and our shower that was clogged. I called him on a Sunday, reached his voicemail, and he called me back a few minutes later. Contacted Armando and he arrived first thing the next morning. Checked out the job to replace the pipe, water pressure regulator, and hose spout. He promised he'd be back later in the day after getting the necessary parts and completing his other appointments. He returned later in the day, did the work, did it quickly, and completed it with a reasonable price. Nowadays it's hard to find individuals who can do the job in that manner so I'd go with Armando with my plumbing needs in the future.

Armando responded to my call so quickly, and luckily was able to come out to fix my emergency gas leak right away. The gas co. had shut off my gas and locked it until the leak was fixed. When your getting estimates for your home project, make sure to include Armando's Rooter & Plumbing. I chose Armando for the same reason I chose my other contractor's. No song and dance during the estimate, and it was a fair price for a Skilled License Proffessional he let his work stand on it's own merit and backed his work with a warranty. I felt good afterwards knowing the work was done right. What I liked about Armando is he came in and didn't putz around and went to work and he was kind enough to answer questions on possible future plumbing projects.

Armando saved the day when the water line to two toilets in my parents' house were leaking and the toilets were unusable. Armando came the same day within a few hours and quickly fixed both water lines.

I called the night before to have Armando check out a leak from my sink. He came early next morning and found that the problem was that the connectors was loose. Outstanding service by Armando's Plumbing Service!! Our main house shutoff valve broke on a Sunday morning dumping a huge amount of water all over ground next to the house and foundation. While the city came out to shut it off at the street we called Armando. He arrived very quickly and replaced the valve, various pipes and unions, and the attached garden faucet. The city's valve was old and wouldn't shut off completely but Armando was able to use a modern kind of fitting that doesn't require soldering so he could do the work wet. We have an odd size supply line so he didn't have the valve in his truck, but was able to get a supply house to open up on a Sunday for a fee. He got us up and running quickly, had an awesome attitude and excellent customer service, and gave me lots of solid advice on many other questions I had about plumbing.

He did a great job. He came out on a holiday and replaced and fixed the gas valve for the new stove that I had ordered that had an out of date gas valve. He also hooked up the new stove and re patched the wall he had to cut into left everything looking very professional. Due to dealing with the gas he ensured that our water heater was turned back on and if our heater furnace needed to be turned on he was willing to do that also. Armando and his partner were very friendly and courteous when they show up. My toilet was clogged and my husband tried to flush it out with the drain bladder. But water started to filled up in my bathtub and sink. It was beyond my husbands ability at that point. I started looking for a plumber through this app with my questions. Armando was quick to respond. I was afraid of what it would cost, but he told me if they are unable to unclog it, it would be no charge. That was enough for me to have them come over to do the work. He ended up having to replace some pipes and snake the drain to take care of this stubborn blockage. We had a backup that went from slow to stopped. I put out a conversation and Armando replied in less than 5 minutes! The rest took over an hour. He asked me a few questions to get to the bottom of the problem and let me know the price up front. We exchanged phone numbers and in less than half the time he said it would take he was at my front door with a smile, handshake and he as pulling tools out and already preparing to get on my roof to access the sewer vent. They did exactly what they said was needed to fix the problem, double checked all the toilets and sinks and showed me on camera that roots were the issue. They showed me in feet on camera the tree and they would come back and do the same thing in the future. Gave me a estimate to pass to my landlord and to fix it and told me to give them a call when I was ready, or just call back when it slows down again. These guys really pulled through and saved me a nightmare water bill. My shower was leaking and could fill a couple trashcans overnight. It was an old shower with old fixtures but i've been strapped for cash ever since I moved here. I first called Mike Diamond and was quoted 79$ just to come and diagnose the problem and they could have taken up until 4pm and I was calling at 11am. I sent a quote inquiry to the nearest plumbers to see who could come sooner. Armando's was the first to get back to me and called me soon after I relayed my information. Armando's AWWWESOME Rooter is what his business should be called! I was experiencing every homeowners dread and having to replace a very expensive household applicance. Being a single person I didn't know what I was going to do so I relied on social media as far as Yelp and Angie's List and found Armando's Rooter. I had the opportunity to have Armando and his brother come by to give me much needed hot water in my bathroom shower. The valve was broken and it's an older house so the pipes & valve was behind a wall of ceramic tiles. I don't was worried about a hole being left in my shower so I put off the repair until my lukewarm water had just come cold. When I explained everything I think I sounded anxious because Armando reassured me a few times it could be taken care of and without excessive damage. Boy was he correct. He first explained he could handle it two different ways
1) get the hot water back on without a full replacement but it would not be a permanent solution. 2) go into the back of the shower through the adjacent kitchen wall and completely replace the valve and do minimal damage breaking to the bathroom tile to remove everything there. The cost difference was significant, the temporary job would cost 1/3 of the permanent job. He was not trying to over sell me and basically just answered all my questions. I decided to go with the permanent solution although I plan to remodel the bathroom next year.

Armando even changed out the new shower head I had purchased. His price included the shower faucet and he installed a moen faucet. I was very please with Armando and wouldn't hesitate to call him again. Professional, cleaned up well when he finished and was thorough in his explanations. Great job Armando
