Giving heart and perfection in the delivery of their services.  Desert Breeze Glass has helped many of our customers over the many years.  We love them go the following reasons;
1) They only use Quality Installers
2) They only use Quality OEM-Approved Glass and parts
3) They coat each windshield with Diamond Fusion which helps in the prevention of future chips ( reducing future claims & costs )
4) They are passionate in serving you!

I hear the many accolades of their services... thanks Desert Breeze for putting my Glass needs at ease!

This company has done glass for me in the past. However I have two pieces of tempered glass that I needed done for the Avondale civic center. They did tell me that it would be 7-10 days. They assured me that their tempered products normally come in in 4 days however. The 10 day mark rolls around and I had to cal a few times to follow up to see if the glass was ready. They managed to order just one piece. I gave them two templates. Another 10 days of waiting. Then we send our driver over to pick up glass and there was no one to help load or to load for my driver. The pieces are heavy and large. 36x72 or so. Overall just the worst glass company I have ever dealt with

Stopped by shop on Monday September 12th in the morning for an estimate to provide glass for a curio cabinet. Here we are Friday, September 16th and no estimate. How incompetent are you that you can't provide an estimate in four days on such a simple job. Take your business to a professional, Desert Breeze Glass certainly is not.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!  We hired DBG to turn our dining room into an office.  They assured us that they can do this job. It was WAY OVER their head.  RIchard the installer is CLUELESS .  It was 6 months from date of order until the day we fired them from the job.  We gave them multiple chances to make the job right.  The issues stemmed from them ordering the wrong materials for our job.  They were installing 10.5 foot  by 3 foot sheets of glass with a 3/4 inch channel meant for shower glass.  They lied and said it was the proper channels for the job and that is how the company they ordered the glass from designed the job that way. Stupidly, the owner Cathryn Curcio, supplied me with the cut sheets for the project that the manufacturer drafted and it was what  Desert Breeze Glass approved with the glass manufacturer/supplier.   Since the manufacturers contact information was on those sheets I called and spoke with  them.  We were told  by them that these were the channels Desert Breeze Glass approved.  When DBG placed our order they failed to tell the supplier that this was going to be for a room enclosure and not a shower enclosure.  If you do not tell the supplier what the purpose of the job is then they automatically design it as a shower project, DBG did not pay attention to the design details and approved the job.  Thats just the beginning though.  Richard the incompetent installer used what he told my husband were magic screws to screw these u channels in.  The industry standard is to screw the screws  in every 9-12 inches and we had them screwed in every 3 feet. So one magic screw every 3 feet into  a smaller than necessary channel to hold up 350  lbs 10.5x3 foot sheet of glass.   BUT IT GETS BETTER......as i was sitting to watch this installation, they put the 3rd sheet of glass in, I noticed that the channel was pulling out of the ceiling, with the glass in it !!!  That channel was only screwed into drywall,  Richard the genius did not hit any wood.... I pointed it out and he said that it will all tighten up as the other glass was installed to the abutting channel....This did not make a bit of sense to me so I questioned him further as I do not want any accidents in my home with 2 young grandchildren walking around . He did not like my questions and so he packed up his tools and STORMED off the job site.  He said after 18 years in this business he was not going to be questioned by anyone about his work.  Meanwhile there were 3 or 4 other subcontracted installers  he brought along that he left behind.  Those guys were from another company,  were very nice and courteous and said that they told Richard more than once that he needed more screws but he just refused and didnt want to do it.  Eventually after an hour or so, the boss for the subcontracted employees showed up to try to complete the job but the screw that was not screwed into wood.came completely loose and the panel of fell out of the ceiling, came crashing down and shattered into a zillion pieces all over my home and the workers.  After that day is when I began the investigation of calling the glass supplier and speaking with other glass contractors seeking advice on what my next steps should be.  I had already paid her 5K to start this job and at this point we are 3 months in from placing our order and had nothing to show for it.  We tried to give them a chance to make it right but In order to use the channels we ordered and were promised, the glass would have had to been slightly smaller as there is a setting block that sits into the channel and it takes up some space which would make the glass they ordered too tall.  We pleaded with her but remaking the glass and use the channels that we ordered but she refused.  She offered us another channel but this channel was not the finish we ordered.  The channel we ordered was a shiny chrome finish but the one she wanted to give us was a nickel looking finish which did not match the rest of the metals in my home.  This was an over $10,000  job that she wanted to take short cuts on to save her money instead of owning up to her companies mistakes and making the job right.
I can go on and on about the multiple errors and lies and excuses that were made but Im done.  I think everyone should know that this company is BAD NEWS.  They say a picture is worth 1000 words, take a look for yourself and you see the shoddy work that they did  The channels were not even butted up at the joints correctly.  It was a nightmare !!!!.   In the end I got my room enclosure.  I hired a company called Raben Glass to do the job all over from the beginning  and they just installed it yesterday.  From start to finish it took 4 weeks and they did the most amazing beautiful and professional job.

So I own a 1972 scout ii. I had brand X come out to install a new windshield and needless to say he walked off the job. I called Desert Breeze and explained how hard of a job this is and that it's not your typical install. They agreed. Dalton showed up and within 30 minutes he and his helper had the whole thing done!
Just wanted to say thank you guys!
To all the classic car guys I give a big thumbs up to Desert Breeze!  They did a great job.

So...we have used Desert Breeze since 2006 and they have replaced many windshields on our various vehicles, and we were very satisfied. We have always requested them through our insurance company and never had any issues.  Fast forward to 2021. They were slow to respond. It took 3 weeks to get a non-OEM window and then I had to call them to even get an appointment and then I was given a 10a-2pm window when appointment was finally scheduled and installer showed up at 3:30pm.  We will NOT be using Desert Breeze again.

I just had Desert Breeze replace a cracked window in my house. They called ahead to let me know they were on their way and they arrived shortly after. They were very professional and the guys were awesome. They worked cleanly and efficiently and were done within 30 mins. They vacuumed the work area when they were done and did an excellent job. I will be using them for all my glass needs and referring them to friends and family! Thanks Desert Breeze!

Desert breeze was recommended to me and my initial thoughts were positive.  They quickly scheduled a date to come in to do estimates on repair of window balances on 8 windows.  I received the estimate and thought it was a bit high as I didn't think parts would be too expensive but due to Covid I went with it.  The estimate showed $675 for labor so I assumed it was very challenging to replace the balances.  The technician arrived as scheduled and quickly started working.  In under 1 hour he was complete with all 8 windows.  Having him done fast was great however.......$675 for under 1 hour of work with only 1 technician!!!!!  Even if he had to drive an hour to get there and it was 2 hours.....at over $300 an hour labor!!!  I'm definitely in the wrong career.  Emailed them and received a call back.  No real explanation other than sometimes the jobs are a bit harder.  They did offer a discount IF I  used their services again in the future.  Bottom line is $675 for 1 hour work is not ethical to charge!!!!

This company has horrible customer service and reliability.  They came out a month and a half ago to give me an estimate.  The technician said I'd hear back within a day or two with the cost proposal, after taking parts from my windows with them to determine manufacturing specs, cost, etc.  A week later, I heard nothing and initiated a call with them.  They said they'd email me the estimate... after three attempts to get my email address correct (they sent it to the wrong address twice), I finally received it.  I agreed to the work, paid half the cost upfront as a downpayment (per their request), and was told once they receive a timeframe on the ordered parts, they'd reach out to give me a status.  Weeks go by and I hear nothing from them.  I emailed and received no response.  So I called to inquire, and was told parts are delayed due to covid, manufacturers are in California, etc.  I understand that is out of their control.  However - after a couple more weeks when they finally called to tell me parts are in, and scheduled a time with me.... they failed to show up.  There was no communications, no calls.
They had given me a window between 1-5pm, and when it was close to 5pm I reached out to ask about their ETA... was told someone would call me back with status, yet nobody reached out.  I called again and was told the technicians are running late and will still make their appointments for the day.
Yet they never showed.  I called the company (after 5pm), and of course nobody answers.
This is such an unprofessional business.  At this point, I'm questioning whether they just took a few hundred dollars from me plus the window parts and have no intention to follow through.

I have used Desert Breeze in the past to replace my windshields. This time I needed to replace 3 sliding patio door panes (you could barley see through them) and 3 windows that had lost their seals on a house in Northern AZ. I was fortunate that the dimensions I provided for the patio doors indicated a standard size. They sent Richard all the way north to Happy Jack to install those and measure the other 3. A week later, they sent Richard back up to replace the others. It's not easy to find good trades people to work with in rural areas of Arizona. Of course I paid a trip charge (reasonable for 5 hours work of driving both ways) but I appreciated having a quality company I knew I could trust do the job. Very satisfied all the way around. Thank you to Cat, Richard and Kaitlyn. Great team.

Kaitlyn and Richard stopped by, I believe after working hours, to fix the big chip I got in my windshield. I live in San Tan Valley and work in Scottsdale, and Friday morning got behind a dump truck who flung a very big rock into my windshield. Kaitlyn was very attentive and knew I was concerned about it spreading, especially with temps dropping and needing to use the heater in the car. And as I experienced last year when my windshield had to be completely replaced, Desert Breeze makes the insurance process a breeze as well. Thanks for the continued awesome customer service and making me feel like a valued customer as well.

Glass measurements were taken for shower doors for our master bath. Estimate took a few days which was fine than the hassle started. I had to call several times to get an estimate emailed to me so I could pay them a deposit to start. I finally had to send her an email so I could have her respond with an invoice to pay the deposit. I wait 10 days after the deposit is paid for them to show up and install and tell me the door was cut wrong. This is what you are is a glass company.....really!!! took over a month to finally get the door in right.

Looks nice now the handle is a little wiggly but the pain of getting it done was crazy. That is the only reason you get three stars is for the install of a nice product. I took off two for Amy and the wait time of this whole circus that was called customer service.

Amy at the front desk was pushing me over the edge through this whole process with the invoice and ditzy attitude that I finally asked for the owner who apologized at the end of this process and took a little off the price for the kaos.

People seem to have good comments about windows and windshield they should stick with what they know.  Cutting shower doors may not be their bread and butter but they did get it right in the

Living in the valley and driving roughly 25,000 miles per year, I go through windshields quicker than I run out of washer fluid.  I have been extremely happy with the service, claims assistance, and overall knowledge with everyone I have been in contact at Desert Breeze!  I always enjoy working with local business people rather than major corporations.

If you get the chance to meet Catherine, she will blow you away with her knowledge of the business she has built!  And if you are lucky enough to meet Harrison... you'll be a customer for life!!!

Went with this company instead of Safelite on a recommendation from my brother because of the Diamon Fusion they offer. Tech (sub contracted Trinity Auto Glass) came to my place of business, completed the windshield install in less than 30min and when I asked about the Diamon Fusion he stated he was not told about this and didn't have any of the wipes to adhere it. Contacted Desert Breeze just after his departure who stated they would take care of it. Two days later I'd heard nothing and contacted them....after several calls back to me I was told it will be taken care of (same phrase I got the first time) and scheduled for it to be done on Monday 5/1 between 10-2. Monday came and went with no call/no show as with each day since. Very disappointing.

I called Desert Breeze Glass when I needed a windshield replaced on my automobile from  a rock that was kicked up by a semi truck in front of me on the freeway. From the moment they answered the phone, I was treated with such Professionalism. The friendly Receptionist connected me to Cathryn who then walked me through the process. She did everything from explain to me what to expect, to helping me talk to the 3rd party Agency that took my information for my insurance company, to setting up the appointment for repair. She was so knowledgeable, friendly, entertaining with her delightful demeanor and sense of humor. She helped lighten my mood from being upset and inconvenienced with what I thought was going to be a long, drug out process to get a replacement.

As promised, the service tech, Hector called me when he was 30 mins from our meeting spot.  He made sure to stop and introduce himself again once we met at the location, greeting me full eye contact, stated his name again, and a gave me firm hand shake. Just as Cathryn was, he too was super friendly and accommodating as he came to my place of business to do the repair. He was very conscientious of his surroundings before he started his work and made sure my car was in a safe location and that he was free of beams from the over-head parking to do the repair safely.

He and his assistant were not only courteous but quick as well. He had his paperwork all ready for me to sign as soon as I met him at the car when he called to say he was done and the car was ready. The assistant then made sure to stop what he was doing and thank me for my business as well. They even waved as they drove away. I was so thoroughly impressed with the whole process and know just who I will call when I have a glass need in the future.

Need glass yourself or know of someone who does? I highly recommend Desert Breeze Glass... They were the best!!!

After being given a quote following sharing of a photo of the mirror I needed new glass in, I couldn't believe the price and went ASAP to see them.  Cathryn and her crew were lovely, down to Earth, helpful, and when she took the mirror to have it installed WHILE I WAITED I was dumbfounded.
They do screens, they do shower doors, they do cabinet glass, they do so much that is glass related. A small business which works hard to earn your trust, and show you quality work, Desert Breeze Glass is where I will go and where I will recommend from now on.
And they have a resident sweetie by the name of Harrison...who entertained me while I waited. A win-win situation.

I put off having my windshield replaced because I didn't want to deal with the hassle. When I got a crack across the whole windshield of a second vehicle, I couldn't put it off anymore. I called Desert Breeze and they took care of everything in a professional and friendly manner. It took less than 10 minutes of my time to have both windshields replaced by Rob. He called me to let me know he was on his way and showed up when promised.
The next time I need glass I know I will call Desert Breeze.

Desert Breeze Glass Company has gone beyond the call of duty to help me.  I needed a pet door installed in a stationary glass next to my sliding glass door. They came and measured twice as to make double sure the measurements were right.  Told me where to get the best doggie door for my application.  Now I'm waiting for Window Genie to put the tint on so it will match my other glass. I have used DBG before and will use them again. They have always been a classy company!! Thank you Sharon and The Gang!!

I thought I needed some of our windows repaired.  Steven and Mariah promptly showed for our evaluation appointment.  They were friendly and nice.  As I started showing my problem windows to them, they candidly told me that my windows were in great working order and that my problems were really areas that aesthetically could be improved.  In other words, none of the problems I noticed lowered the functioning of our windows. Steven and Mariah are so honest and straight forward!  They offered me the choice of repairing my windows to improve the aesthetics or not. How often do you find such honesty?!!!  This was an amazing experience - so much so that it caused me to write this review.  If you need a window company, then I strongly recommend you contact Desert Breeze Glass.

I just bought my second windshield from Desert Breeze after having purchased 5 or 6 from lesser companies and I'll never use anyone else.  I'm an NSE certified mechanic but even I've had to learn the hard way about buying quality.

The first one I bought from them was for a Mercedes E class.  Got a fair price for factory quality part and they added a coating to make it chip resistant.  The very next day I got behind a dump truck on the 101 and took no less than 25 hits from quarter-size rocks at 65 mph.  Got lots of tiny pits but no cracks. So it was a no brainer to get the next one from them.

My 91 Dodge truck has gone through 5 windshields in 10 years.  I've used the lowest cost part from Safe---t Autoglass in the past with the previous part lasting only a week before cracking.  Turns out the low-cost installers use windshields that are thinner than factory specifications but still meet minimum federal standards - not good enough for Arizona.  When Desert Breeze replaced the part this last week we found rust around the windshield frame because the prior installer (Safe---t) had scratched the paint and not put primer over the scratches.  The Desert Breeze installer took a break so that I could grind off all the rust and then he applied primer to the bare metal.

Great service and factory specification parts for only about $50 more than the low cost guys.  They also coated the new part for free.   I'm Sold.

I got self locked out of my new house one morning and didn't have any way to get back in or neighbors to go to try and call a locksmith.  I had to break one of my windows in order to get back in to the house.  I called Desert Breeze Glass and they were really nice and sympathetic.  Cory came right away and took the measurements.  told me it could be 5 days before it was ready, but it was ready much sooner.  I had to schedule for the following Monday, and Cory actually got there early.  Not only did he remove the broken window and replace it very quickly, he also cleaned up my broken mess outside the house.  It was his last day with Desert Breeze, and he's moving on to Apache Glass.  I would definitely follow him there if I ever need another window replacement, but hope I don't!!  Thanks Cory to all you did for me!!!!

I called Desert Breeze Glass because they were recommended by my insurance company as a preferred provider.  We had the unfortunate event of having our windshield crack all the way across the front - so our car is really not safe to drive.  I called Desert Breeze and it took about 20 minutes to get through all of the questions and paperwork.  The representative was nice even though the process was slow.  However, the tech was scheduled to come out the next day between 8 am and noon never showed up and never called.  I had to rearrange my whole day to stay home so it was very frustrating to have a no show.  When I called the office to see what was going on, I was placed on hold and decided to just hang up after several minutes because it was just taking too long.  They eventually called me back and said there was a miscommunication.  Apparently the tech agreed to the time frame via text message but did not receive the work order in his email box.  There are plenty of other companies that replace windshields so I'm going to use a different one.  Hopefully they will show up as promised.

Prompt, professional, courteous service. One of the best places I have ever worked with. We were in Mesa for only a few days to close up a trailer for the season and found that the 30 year old patio door was essentially unmovable; the wheels had started eating the track. They got there when it fit our schedule and brought the parts to fix it. The tech's name was Corey and he went out of his way to put our door in tip-top shape. He found we needed to replace more parts (now with the latch) and he came back after finding them and fixed the latch problem, all for less than the original estimate. He left our door more secure and working better than ever. I can't say enough good things about the job Corey did for us. I would definitely call Dessert Breeze again and recommend them to anyone.

I can't express how disappointed I am with this business.   This customer experienced turned out to be a confused mess!  I sent them a picture of what I wanted, I was told that's what I would receive, then they turned around and said they wouldn't give me back my money because I ordered a 'customer piece of glass'.  I strongly advise you go to someone else for your glass needs.  This shop does not deliver as promised and then they want you to pay double for what you wanted.  I wish someone would have yelped about this place so I would not have gone here.  Now I have this piece of glass on my table that I know is going to break sometime soon because it's too weak.  I just hope none of the kids are injured in the interim!

I did business with them to fix a crack on my windshield (only the outer layer not the inner safety glass layer). They actually called some other guy (not from their company) to come and seal the crack for me, which at the time i wasnt worried about, more worried about getting it sealed so it wouldnt expand. Well in the end the resin seeped between the two layers of glass and now i have this blurry distorting halo that gets annoying when you drive and see a distorting spot on the windshield. To add onto that branches of the crack, are starting to reappear! Lets hope i dont have to replace my windshield

The wire to my alarm antenna was cut during the windshield replacement, costing me $400 for a new alarm (because the wiring harness for the alarm is not available anymore. Otherwise would have been about $50 for a new wire and connector). The shop that installed the alarm told me that those wires get cut often on windshield replacements and even tried to repair the wiring for me. Figuring that some customers might expect a glass company to cover the cost of a loss like that, I called to inform them of what happened, so that they could prevent it in the future. I was told, Okay. I was expecting at least a, My bad. Note: I did not ask them to reimburse me for the alarm, as accidents happen. In the future I will remove the wire beforehand. The tech who did the work was nice and professional and otherwise did a good job.
